Youtube daily report Feb 1 2017

Hello boys and girls, young and old. Welcome to yet another action figure video review.

Today we'll take a look at Transformers TFC TOYS P-001 Mentarazor!

And as you can see Mentarazor comes with a medium box. You see him here in both of his modes.

On the top side of the box you see him in all of his modes.

On the bottom side of the box you see some warnings. This figure is for ages 15+ .

On the side of the box you see him in manta ray mode.

On the other side of the box you see him in his robot mode.

And on the back side of the box you see his tech specs over here.

And of course you also see King Poseidon.

Enough with the box, let's see the accessories of the figure.

Mentarazor comes with this card. Tech specs on the other side of the card.

He comes with the foot of King Poseidon.

He comes with these two weapons.

He comes with this weapon.

He comes with these accessories that are used for weapon and leg mode.

And of course, he comes with the instructions, here they are.

Here you see a small story about Seacons.

And here you see his transformations.

So let's see the figure from close now.

And here we have, ladies and gentlemen, Mentarazor in his manta ray mode.

Mentarazor is based on the G1 Seawing character. And as you can see he is a manta ray. It's something unique.

We often see Transformers to transform into cars, airplanes, tanks, but a manta ray is something unique!

And that's why it is impressive. I like very much this mode. These bits here are sharp so you need to be careful.

Also these bits here. The tail as well. They are very sharp, so be careful.

As you can see this is the storage place for his guns.

So these are his guns.

You can also extend them.

And they look like this now. They are fine.

As for the figure... it's a manta ray, it has some turbines over here, you can rotate them.

Only the bottom turbines can be rotated, not the upper ones.

I don't understand why they didn't make the upper turbines to rotate.

His fin is on a ball-joint so you can rotate it, it can move up and down.

That's very good. Also it can bend from this point because of the transformation.

As for his tail, it can rotate and it can bend at many points.

As you can see this piece comes off easily but ok, I can live with it.

The tail can bend at one, two, three points. Also, it can rotate.

So let's see now how he looks next to the other Seacons.

And here is Seawing next to the other Seacons. As you can see they look very nice together!

Great figures! I love them very very much!

So let's transform Seawing in his robot mode. I will ask my buddy Stefanos to do it, Stefanos?

- Hello from me as well. First, remove this piece from the tail so we won't break it accidentally.

Disconnect the fin from here. Close these bits inwards.

Disconnect the arms from here. Disconnect these bits from here.

You need to be careful, first remove the left one and then the right one.

Now the bottom section. Open these bits.

I forgot something. First of all disconnect these front pieces and then open these bits.

Disconnect the toes. Disconnect the legs.

And fold out the leg.

For some reason it has...oh it got disconnected.

Bring down.... excuse me. Bring these bits down.

Fold these bits inwards.

Close them. Do the same thing to the other side as well.

Disconnect this bit and bring it down.

The foot will come backwards and it will be connected with this piece.

These bits will connect to the sides.

As for his arms... bring out his fists.

Bring the fins down, they just stay like this.

You can fold these bits inwards if you want. Or you can leave them like this, depends what you like.

Disconnect the tail, bring it to the front to reveal the head.

Close it again and bring the tail back.

As for his shoulders, you can bring these pieces up, if you want to give more height to the shoulders.

Personally, I like them like this. Place the tail-piece again. And Seawing is ready in his robot mode.

- And here we have, ladies and gentlemen, Seawing in his awesome robot mode!

Alright, his backpack is as it should be, his fins are on his back but it's well made, it's not ugly.

As you can see he also has light-piping. I like it. Very nice robot mode! Very nice, I like it a lot!

As for his articulation, his head can rotate 360 degrees, it can look up a liiiitle bit up and down.

It can also tilt left and right a little bit.

His arms can rotate 360 degrees, they can move up until here, down, they rotate at the elbow,

double-jointed elbow, there is fist rotation, there is also waist rotation.

The legs can move back and forth, up and down, they rotate at the thighs, double-jointed knee.

As for the toe, you need to disconnect it from here to make it have articulation.

It is on a ball-joint so it has a wide range of motion.

He has very nice articulation. You can move his fins however you want.

As you can see this piece came out, it's on a ball-joint so you can put it easily back.

You can move them up and down, bend them from this point. Nice figure. Very nice, sturdy figure, no stability issues.

Seawing can hold his swords perfectly fine.

He can also use his tail as an extra weapon and of course he can hold his gun without any problems.

And here is Seawing next to Generations Sandstorm. As you can see Seawing is a voyager class figure.

And here is Seawing next to the other Seacons. As you can see they look great!

I can't wait to get the other two figures. Two more and we will form King Poseidon!

So let's transform Seawing back to his manta ray mode, Stefanos?

- First, bring the tail to the front. Pull this bit to put the head inside.

And connect the tail here. Bring the fins up.

Open these panels to put the fists inside.

And bring these shoulder-pieces down.

Disconnect the heels. Bend the feet like this.

The heel will come up and connect in here. Disconnect these pieces from here.

It will give us space to open these bits from here.

Fold these bits out. Fold these bits up.

And now we will fold the leg inwards.

This peg will connect with this hole here.

Once you do it, you can connect the foot in here to lock it.

Do the same thing to the other side as well.

This leg, for some reason, it has tighter joints from the other one.

Connect them now.

Connect the foot.

Connect these bits together.

These bits will connect in here to fill the gaps.

These pieces will come up like this and will connect to each other.

As for the arm, this hole will connect with this peg here. Bring these bits out.

Open the fins as well. Bring it to the side, from this joint here.

And this peg will tab underneath here. Do the same thing to the other side as well.

Place the tail-piece. And Seawing is back into his manta ray mode!

And since Seawing is a combiner, let's see his other three modes.

We will start with the leg mode. First, remove the tail-piece.

Disconnect the fins from here. Close these bits inwards.

Disconnect the arms. Bring these bits down.

Open these bits as well. Open these pieces so we can disconnect the legs.

But to release these bits, you need to disconnect everything...

...so we can put this piece in here that will connect with the foot.

Open this piece like this and connect it in here.

Connect the legs again. Close this bit to secure the legs.

Rotate the waist 180 degrees. Pull the legs a little bit so you can...

...connect the feet with these pegs.

It wants to make my life difficult.

Close these bits from here. We will do the rear section now.

Disconnect the arm, bring it down like this, this hole will connect with this peg here.

Do the same thing to the other side as well.

Connect the feet as well. Bring these bits up.

Bring the fins to the front. This hole here will connect with this peg.

These pieces got disconnected...

Do the same thing to the other side as well.

Bring these pieces back and they will stay in here, like this.

The tail will come to the front and it will stay like this. Take the foot and connect it, like this.

And Seawing is ready in his leg mode!

You can place the tail-piece as well, if you like what you see.

So let's see now the gun mode. Disconnect the foot.

We will bring it almost back to the manta ray mode. Disconnect the fins. Bring them up.

Open these pieces. Disconnect the arms and bring them up like this.

Disconnect the feet.

Disconnect these bits as well.

Open them. Rotate the waist 180 degrees. Connect the feet in here.

Did it tab well? Good.

Connect these bits again.

Why it didn't tab well here?

I had to do it off camera to make it tab. -_-

Bring these bits like this, they will stay like this.

Connect these pieces again.

Connect the arms to the sides. Bring the fins to the front.

Oops, wrong, sorry. Bring the fins from this side!

They don't tab anywhere, they stay like this.

And now we will try to bring the connector down, it's very tight!

And now the problem.

The connector cannot move down because it is being hindered by the feet.

The instructions say that the connector must come downwards.

The only way to do it is to disconnect the feet and leave them like this!

Otherwise, the connector cannot come down. Bring the tail up, like this.

This is where his guns come. Extend them.

Close the one handle, the other one will stay out, like this.

And the guns will be connected together. And now connect them in here.

Let's transform the base so it can connect with the gun. Open these bits.

Bring these bits out. Close these pieces again.

Remove the side-guns.

Bring this piece out.

Rotate this piece 180 degrees. Bring these pieces up.

Take this handle. Connect it in here.

These guns will connect in here, like a kickstand.

Finally open the toes, like this. The base is ready.

Take Seawing. Place him in here.

And Seawing is ready in his weapon mode.

You can also place the tail-piece in here. It won't affect anything.

As you can see he looks very impressive as a gun mode. The way that the foot transforms into a base is very smart!

So let's see now his final mode, the arm mode! Remove the handle. Which is very tight to come out...!

Remove the tail-piece. Remove the guns as well. Bring these pieces up.

Disconnect the arms. Open these bits.

Rotate these pieces upwards. Open these pieces as well.

Open this piece and now try to disconnect the legs to remove this piece.

They are so tight!

Remove this piece. Straighten the legs from the second joint.

Do the same thing to the other side as well.

Now we will place the hand.

From this side.

Connect the legs again.

Close this bit to secure the legs.

Bring these bits inwards. Connect them again.

These pieces will connect here on the sides. These bits will connect in here, like this.

Pull the torso up to release the joint of the combine mode. Rotate it.

The fins will stay like this. Bring the shoulder-piece up.

Use the double-joint elbow and this hole will connect with this peg here.

Do the same thing to the other side as well.

The fins will come down, these holes will connect with these pegs here.

Not the most secure way of connection, it doesn't hold them very well but they sit there.

And of course, now that the camera is on it wants to make my life difficult.

Come on...

It doesn't want to stay in.

Close these bits as well.

I won't try anymore.

Rotate the hand.

According to the hand, we have a right arm now. And this is Seawing in his arm mode.

You can again place the tail-piece. And it looks like this now.

Very impressive I would say.

- Final thoughts... a very nice figure from TFC TOYS. I liked all of his modes.

I must admit that I got impressed with the manta ray mode because you don't see often such alternative modes.

Tight joints, very nice, I liked it very much! Nice articulation, good plastic quality.

Well, the instructions don't help much but at least the final result is very satisfying. That's all from me, Stefanos?

- A very good figure. Indeed the manta ray mode is very impressive.

Be careful with the sharp pieces because you might hurt yourselves. Very good plastic quality, indeed his joints are very tight.

Excellent. Their quality and their outcome so far is very good, from the first until the last figure!

Healthy & FAST Meals: How To Do It? - Duration: 12:20.

Hey, what's up?

John Sonmez from simpleprogrammer.com.I

have a fitness—actually, this is more of a diet related question today and I'm going

to try to give it my best answer here.

Some of you are like, "What the heck?

Why are you talking about fitness and diet on this channel?"

Well, welcome to the channel.

I talk about everything here.

You could check out—if you are interested in fitness stuff, you can check out my playlist

here of all my fitness and kind of diet related videos.

Just to give you a background, I do eat one meal a day.

I fast until 5:00 everyday and you can check out that video if you want to know why I do

that.

This video is about healthy and fast meals.

This question is from Matthijs and he says, "Dear John.

I found 'How to Stop Wasting Your Time at Work' interesting, where Kurt ate fastfood

to have time for his business.

Do you have suggestions for meals to eat that are fast to make and still

somewhat healthy?

What do you eat?

Most of the time when I'm alone, I eat Cornflakes with milk in the morning.

Spaghetti or the food at school at noon.

Pizza or lasagna in the evening.

I'm 19 years old.

I'm going to my second year in college.

I'm not overweight.

Should I worry about it?

Can I eat whatever I want as long as I'm not getting fat?"

I think there's going to be a lot of people, Matthijs, including me, that are a little

bit pissed at you right now.

Well, let's see what you eat.

You eat Cornflakes in the morning with milk, spaghetti everyday at lunch and pizza or lasagna

in the evening and you're not fat.

It must be great to be 19 and to have a high metabolism, but I guarantee that you're not

going to be able to keep this up, and I wouldn't.

I mean—well, okay.

You've got an opportunity to get like super ripped and mean and look really good if you

change your diet up.

I think this is kind of fun.

I think you're just emailing me to brag about how you could eat all those stuff and not

get fat and just piss everyone off.

Everyone who hates Matthijs, leave a comment below.

No, I'm just kidding.

Let me talk about some healthy and fast meals.

I don't think eating Cornflakes and spaghetti and pizza is healthy.

It may be fast, but it's certainly not healthy.

I have certain definitions, different definitions of what is a healthy meal than other people

do because we're brainwashed to think that certain things are healthy and certain things

are not healthy.

Our bodies, they don't care for the most part.

Now, there is one exception to this into what we eat, which is when we eat things that are

high in fructose and have a very high glycemic index that invoke a very higher than normal

insulin response and the timing on those things is not right.

One of the bad ingredients—I mean the only really super ingredient in my opinion is high

fructose corn syrup.

Corn syrup is bad stuff.

That's because for a couple of reasons.

One, because it has very high glycemic index and so it will spike your insulin levels really

high really fast which is likely to increase fat storage and likely to lead to diabetes.

Second is because fructose is generally bad.

That's what comes from fruits.

Now, from an apple or banana or something like that that has a lot of fiber in it and

has a lot of water, you're not getting a huge amount of fructose for the volume that you're

eating.

That's why fruits are generally considered to be healthy foods, although an overindulgence

of fruit will definitely make you fat.

I don't know if you've seen pictures of Emperor Nero from Rome, fat guy eating grapes,

right?

Before we had like the Cornflakes in a box, the rich people of the age of the Romans and

the India and still in India to some degree and a lot of places, even in China to some

degree, they eat a lot of fruit and they get fat from eating fruit.

There you go as far as what people think is healthy or not.

What I think is healthy is, again—low sugar is definitely healthy, but aside from that,

it's really hard to say.

Right?

Fat is not necessarily unhealthy.

You can be on a ketogenic diet and eat almost all fat.

I've been on diet before where 90% of my diet came from fat, and a lot of that from saturated

fat.

I've had my blood levels tested, my cholesterol, everything and I've been in tip-top shape.

I've been really good.

In fact, it's actually not a bad diet.

I know a ton of people that are curing their diabetes.

Again, I'm not a doctor.

This is not medical advice, but I do know a ton of people that have shown blood tests,

that have shown that they have basically greatly reduced or cured themselves from diabetes

by going on a fully ketogenic diet and eating like 80, 90% fat.

What is healthy?

I think that it's not so much what you eat.

What I think is healthy is what you can actually eat that is going to keep you within the calorie

range that you need to be in and you still get all the nutrients that you need.

What usually the typical healthy foods that people say are healthy are going to be the

things like vegetables, and the reason why has nothing to do with the nutritional content

of it or the energy that it gives you.

In fact, vegetables are not very efficient for giving you energy.

That's part of the reason why they're healthy is because they have so much fiber in them

that for a volume, you get a lot.

Let's just compare.

How much Cornflakes can you eat versus how much broccoli and have the same amount calories

in them?

It's going to be a whole lot more broccoli than it is with Cornflakes.

It's going to be much smaller.

I wish I had some pictures to give you here.

In that respect, you can eat a lot more and be more full if you 'full healthy foods,'

but to your body, it looks like the carbohydrates.

It looks at the calorie it's getting.

It doesn't care that some of them from Cornflakes and some of them came from broccoli aside

from the ones that came from Cornflakes the sugar got delivered faster.

Maybe if they have—I don't know if Cornflakes have corn syrup in them anymore, but if they

did then that would be the case.

That's kind of to set the baseline, to set the context of what is healthy or not.

It's not what most people think.

The food pyramid and all that is bullshit, it's not like that.

You don't need dairy.

It's not like that.

Most people in the United States and developed countries today, most of our food is fortified,

so we get all the vitamins and minerals that we need.

There's not a chance, a very high chance if you're having a deficiency and something like

that and you can always take a multi if you're afraid of that.

It's not a bad idea as an insurance plan.

Let's talk about some fast and healthy meals and what do I eat.

I only eat once a day.

I fast until 5 everyday.

What I typically eat is I typically will go to a place that serves up these bowls where

you can either get it with rice and it has veggies and then it has either chicken or

beef.

That's what I typically eat or I'll eat sushi and I can neither get sushi with rice or protein

wrap or cucumber wrap, or I'll eat something like eggs with spinach and a little bit of

cheese on top.

Those are the typical meals that I eat every once in a while like a burrito or something

like that.

What I'm mostly caring about is the timing in what I'm eating at a specific time.

I think that can make a huge difference.

A lot of people—I've seen this pyramid of relevance of the food and they show that at

the bottom or the most important is the actual calories and then it's like—what is it—the

macros and then there's the micronutrients like the types of food and then timing is

up here.

I actually put timing very close to the bottom because if you do the timing right, it can

determine what happens to your body.

For example with my fasting, after a workout, when your muscles—the insulin receptors

on your muscles after you lift weights, they are primed.

Whereas, normally, the insulin receptors on your fat cells are primed.

What's going to happen is if you eat carbohydrates then, totally different story.

Now, those carbohydrates, that glucose, goes into the muscles to replenish glycogen stores

as opposed to going into fat cells to be stored.

It has to do with timing than what a lot of people think.

A lot of times, I think a lot of reasons why people have 'high metabolisms' is that they

just happen to, by their natural habits, have an interesting timing to how they take different

types of food.

With all that said to get back to your original question, how can you eat healthy fast meals,

is I think that you can—first of all, you've got to figure out what is your plan and what

is your diet and what are you going to do.

Second of all, pay attention to the calories, the overall calories because that's more important.

That is overall for weight loss or weight gain that is more important and is even more

important than the timing.

I just put the timing lower than most people do.

Pay attention to that.

As long as it's within your calories, you're probably going to be okay until you're trying

to micro-optimizing and get down to like below 10% body fat and still gain muscle and all

that.

Aside from that, you're probably going to be okay and avoid sugar.

That's it.

You can choose whatever you want.

Try to make it consistent.

If you really want to take it to the next level, then look for things like where you

can have low glycemic index, lower carb, low sugar stuff and have higher fat and higher

protein.

Places like bowl places.

If you can get that—you can get that done quickly.

There's meal delivery services where they'll deliver meals and make custom meals for you.

You could do something like that.

You can even find healthy stuff or figure out how you can hack the McDonalds menu or

Subway, or something like that if you want to.

There's usually those options.

My advice would be to find something that works and repeat it.

Like I said, I've got a few places that I can go where I can get meals, where I can

pay for the meal and I can have it cooked for me and have it done, and that's that.

The other possible thing that you can do which I used to do a lot and a lot of bodybuilders

still do is that they will cook all their stuff at the beginning of the week like on

Sunday night, they cook up a whole bunch of chicken breast and broccoli and some brown

rice, or sweet potatoes and then they'll divide it up into Tupperwares and then they eat that

throughout the week.

If you really want to go to that level, that's probably the best thing to do because you're

totally controlling the portions.

You're controlling exactly what's in there.

That's probably the best possible thing to do, but it's not quite as convenient because

you still got to cook all that stuff up.

If you do it at once, do it at once and it's going to be fast.

All right.

That's a lot of information there, right?

Isn't it?

We opened a whole can of worms when we 're talking about what is healthy foods.

It's debatable.

U.S. delegation visiting National Assembly reaffirms S. Korea-U.S. alliance and stresses... - Duration: 2:52.

A U.S. delegation visited the National Assembly Wednesday,... seeking to reaffirm Seoul-Washington

alliance in the Trump administration.

They also stressed the importance of deploying the THAAD missile defense system.

Park Ji-won brings us this report.

A U.S. delegation visited Seoul's National Assembly Wednesday... to meet with South Korean

lawmakers and reaffirm their ironclad bilateral alliance.

The 12-member group consists of policymakers, diplomats and scholars... who have long represented

Washington in its relations with Seoul.

" )I think it is important that we maintain this -- not only the alliance, but the quality

of this alliance, the fact that we are two nations that are really joined by this alliance

and we must stay together through all kinds of difficult times."

The delegation also sought to reassure the South Korean public that the new Trump administration

would continue to value the long-standing bilateral relationship.

"The fact that President Trump called and spoke with your acting president and the fact

that our defense secretary is one of his very first official visits, will be visiting the

Republic of Korea, is a clear statement that the United States clearly supports Korea and

always will."

While the American delegation and South Korea's legislators did see eye-to-eye on the growing

nuclear threats from North Korea, Seoul's decision to deploy THAAD, a sophisticated

U.S. missile defense system, remained a point of contention.

"While the effectiveness of the THAAD deployment has some uncertainty, the economic threat

from China is real and imminent.

That's why I believe the Korean public needs to be reassured that the missile defense deployment

is absolutely necessary for the defense of South Korea, the U.S. and the alliance."

"China doesn't have an existential threat from North Korea.

You do, and so do we.

)

"The THAAD is our strongest, most capable, most robust and most accurate system that

we have."

This is the first visit by such a delegation from the U.S. under the new Trump administration.

"Because the delegates here already know Korea so well,...

I hope you can give us help and guidance so that South Korea can coexist with the Trump

administration."

The trip follows a visit by a group of South Korean lawmakers to Washington earlier this

year, when they met with representatives from Congress and various government agencies.

Military chiefs of S. Korea and U.S. reaffirm to establish strong joint defense posture - Duration: 2:06.

South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff and his U.S. counterpart reaffirmed their ironclad

joint defense posture against North Korea's provocations.

This may include deployment of Washington's strategic military assets to South Korea,

including a supercarrier and bombers.

Connie Kim has more on the prelude to the coming defense meeting.

The military chiefs of South Korea and the U.S. have reaffirmed their commitment to establish

a strong joint defense posture as North Korea's nuclear threats continue to escalate.

South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff said Wednesday its chairman Lee Sun-jin highlighted the need

to strengthen Washington's extended deterrence to tackle North Korea's threats during his

telephone talks with his U.S. counterpart General Joseph Dunford.

The first meeting of the Extended Deterrence Strategy and Consultation Group took place

in December last year, with both Seoul and Washington agreeing to regularly deploy U.S.

strategic assets to South Korea.

Dunford added the newly appointed U.S. Defense Secretary James Mattis's decision to travel

to South Korea for his first official trip is a reflection of Washington's strong will

to protect its ally,... and stated the U.S. will pour efforts to strengthen the Seoul-Washington

alliance to maintain peace in the Northeast Asian region.

Amidst continuous threats from Pyongyang, including a possible test-launch of an ICBM

any time soon, a South Korean military official said that the U.S. military is mulling over

sending various strategic military assets, including the San Diego-based supercarrier

Carl Vinson and B-1B bombers.

Furthermore, the deployment is to be reportedly discussed between South Korea's defense minister

Han Min-koo and his U.S. counterpart Mattis during their first meeting later this week

in Seoul.

And ahead of Mattis' visit, the U.S. Pacific Command announced twelve F-16 fighter jets

will be deployed this month at Osan Air Base, south of the capital Seoul, and they will

be stationed for up to 9 months to monitor possible North Korean provocations.

Serving as a Leader - Duration: 17:12.

Now looking back after having a number of places of leadership

when I look abck into my childhood, I can see that God

had marked me in a special way for leadership even though I did not know it at that time.

When I think back to my time playing sports as a young man,

I'll give you one example.

I played hockey from age 4 to 18.

Every year I played ice hockey and I was on the ice 3 to 4 and sometimes 5 times every week

and as we would do practices, we would have to skate laps around the ice rink

and work hard and do all kinds of drills.

I always at the front of the pack.

When our team was going through all these exercises

for some reason I always hated to be at the back.

I have this group of people in front of me and I'd be trying to skate my way through them

and I loved to be at the front.

I didn't even realize it until many years went by

and my parents came to me one day after practice

and said "Cody, why do you always have to be at the front?"

What are you talking about? I didn't even realize it

There's just something for me about being up in the front where I had all this open space

in front of me. I wasn't stuck in all this tight space with all the other guys doing the drill

I had to be out front.

So I've just been paying more attention in this last year and a half

as God is highlighting leadership, that going all the way back to my childhood

there was something about being a leader,

being a forerunner. Going out in front of other people.

I even think about my time in school.

It was always really easy for me to make frineds.

I always had influence. I alwyays had friends who were looking to me and willing to hear my opinions

I even used it to my advantage many times in a bad way.

Where we would have some of the smartest kids in the class

and just because I was popular and able to be friends with them as well,

I would go into group studies with them and do projects with them

and I'd get higher grades just because I was with the smart kids.

It wasn't very godly, what I was doing

but I could see that I could use some of my influence

to help advance myself in school.

Then I was serving with kids camps, youth camps, through the summer

and I was given jobs or positions of leadership every single summer that I did that.

I wasn't seeking leadership at all. It always just kept coming to me.

Then moving into working with Youth With a Mission,

I was given leadership. I was helping lead schools of 12-15 students

working with other leaders. We would lead other students through this Bible school

for many months at a time, and go into outreaches in other parts of the world.

I just kept seeing this pattern where God is putting me in leadership

I want to tell you a quick story of what happened here in Israel.

There were some leaders from the International House of Prayer.

They were doing some worship and teaching at Christ Church.

We were singing this song called, "All is for your glory".

Laura, Hacket, who is one of the worship leaders, was singing all is for your glory

I'll read you a few words from the song,

For your name that you would have the preeminence,

put me anywhere, just put your glory in me. I will serve anywhere, just let me see your beauty.

I'd sung this song many times before. I'm very familiar with it.

I was just loving God's presence worshiping God.

I will serve anywhere, just put your glory in me!

What I'm thinking all the way up until this time is I will clean any dirty toilet,

I will go to any far away county. God I'll serve you anywhere.

As i'm thinking this, this voice comes into my head so clearly:

"Ok, Cody, will you serve me as a leader?"

That was the first time I had ever thought of it in that way.

What? I can serve you as a leader?

Service doesn't just mean the low things of cleaning the toilet or floor or some dishes or the most humble servant type things?

The Holy Spirit began to challenge me.

No, you can serve me by me putting you in a place of leadership and influence

and beginning to lead people in the direction that I want to take them.

Wow, that was a new thought for me.

It really challenged me. I had to repent of some wrong thoughts about what it means to serve God.

As I began to repent and say yes to allowing him to move me into more authority and leadership

and responsibility, it has been like this domino effect over the past few years

where not long after, my wife and I became deacons in our congregation in Jerusalem

This last summer I got moved to become the international director here at Revive Israel.

So leadership continues to happen. It continues to grow.

It's exciting but it is also kind of overwhelming.

If you haven't had a lot of good leadership models in your life

you feel kind of like you don't have the tools in the beginning.

As I've been studying the word, again, because the Holy Spirit is highlighting this subject of leadership in my personal life,

I'm seeing leadership principles and things connected to leadership in every page of the Bible right now.

You can open up the Bible to Genesis chapter one, the very first thing that God says to man

is to be fruitful and multiply and subdue the earth and take dominion.

In other words, "Go and take leadership."

Go and govern and rule over the earth. This is not something passive.

This is God's calling upon mankind to step in the place of leadership.

To advance his kingdom in the earth. His will in the earth.

Right from Genesis chapter one and the rest of the pages of the Bible,

we see story after story example after example of both good leadership and and bad leadership.

One of the things that has encouraged me is when I look at Jesus

he is the perfect leader.

He has never made one mistake in his leadership.

Going into the future; going into the events of the end times,

he will not make one mistake in his leadership.

He is a perfect leader. He knows exactly what he's doing.

He knows exactly where he is going.

The good news is that he lives on the inside of us as believers.

I have full access to the greatest leader who has ever existed and will exist.

The spirit of the king is inside of us.

He is longing to lead us, to develop us to train us in his leadership style and functions.

That has brought a lot of encouragement to me when I feel overwhelmed,

I have big decisions, I am dealing with finances and managing.

God, I don't know what to do, what's the right thing?

But having the confidence to know that I can connect with Holy Spirit right now, he has a solution.

He has an answer to this problem.

It is by us growing in that connection with the Holy Spirit that we can grow in our ability to lead and to manage.

I want to share a negative example from my own life.

about how I see we can be stunted or hindered in growing in leadership.

This has happened in two different seasons of my life.

One of them was when I first came to Israel, and became a part of our congregation, Ahavat Yeshua.

When you don't have any position in an organization or a congregation,

you come primarily, I'll call it a spectator.

You're just coming to receive.

It's very easy to have a critical spirit toward your leaders.

I think this is going to be familiar.

We have a lot of leaders and pastors with us in this room today.

I'm sitting on the edge of the outside, looking at the leaders.

Seeing what they're doing. Seeing the decisions that they are making.

And because I am not in the mix of making decisions about what's going on

it's really easy to become critical and point out all of the things that I think they are doing wrong.

This happened for me for many months.

I wasn't looking for leadership. I was still trying to learn Hebrew.

I was sitting back and feeling like, why did they do that?

Why did they make that kind of decision? Why are they going in this direction?

This critical spirit started to come upon me.

I was being so critical of what was happening. The decisions that were being made.

I even had a hard time connecting emotionally and relationally with my leaders

because I was so critical of them.

This goes on for a number of months

The Holy Spirit is convicting me, "Cody, you cannot come in agreement with this critical spirit."

As the Holy Spirit is dealing with me and encouraging me to begin praying for my leaders

I repent, I start praying for my leaders, my heart begins to change.

As my heart begins to change, I sense the Holy Spirit saying:

"If you want to see things change, you can't sit on the outside and look in and point out what's wrrong

You need to get in the game yourself.

You need to come in and be a solution to those problems.

Are you willing to do that?

If you want to see change, a certain direction, then you have to be a part of that.

You can't sit and just yell from the side, "No you should do this and no you should do that."

No, you have to get in the mix and do it yourself.

Be a part of a team of leaders. Have influence. Grow in responsibility and favor

among that team of people. So people can trust you

and hear what you have to say. Come up with good ideas and come up with solutions

and as that begins to happen, people begin to listen to you.

I began to see that shift as I began praying for my leaders and repented of a critical spirit.

I began to see that people started interacting with me differently.

They wanted to hear what I had to say.

Eventually, I was asked to become a deacon and given more leadership.

My wife and I are co-leading the youth group in our congregation.

There are many places of leadership now that I am moving into, but if we have a critical spirit

towards our leaders, it's going to hinder us from growing in our leadership.

So we have to be very sensitive and be careful not to allow that to happen.

I wanted to find something as well.

As I talk a lot about leader, there is also manager.

There is a difference between a manager and a leader.

I read this from John W. Gardner. He was a former Secretary of State in the USA government.

He did a big research project on what is leadership, and what is management.

He has this definition of management:

Management is the process of assuring that the program and objectives of the organization are implemented.

Leadership, on the other hand has to do with casting vision and motivating people.

I'm going to say this again.

Management is the process of assuring that the program and objectives of the organization are implemented.

You know what the goals and the things are in your organization. You have structure and you as a manager are making sure those things are happening.

The leader, on the other hand, his focus is t o motivate and inspire people to do that they are doing better.

The research shows that there are very few people who are excellent leaders and excellent managers.

All in one package. Most people are either one or the other.

You're more of a leader where you are able to inspire, cast vision but lack on the managerial side.

Where other people are very good managers but are not that great on motivating you and casting vision,

this is where we're going. But they're going to be more focused on the structure and implementing

what has been set up to do.

I want to see us grow in both of these things.

We need this in the body here in Israel. There is a great need for leaders and managers

to get raised up in the body in Israel to take us into the next season where God wants to take us.

I also want to talk about a myth that I see is common

I believed this for a period of time in my life.

That to be a leader, it has to be something you're born with.;

This is not true. You can be a leader even if you haven't been so called born with those skills.

Leadership skills can be received and grown into.

All of us can aquire through training the skills to be better and more effective leaders and managers.

This levels the playing field. All of us have access to grow in our leadership skills and abilities.

There are a few things that are very key (because of time I'm going to finish with this).

I'm going to break down three styles of leaders for us.

Each of them has a different background.

The first leader is the leader of leaders.

This person has been born with leadership skills. It is something God-given.

Something unique. A special grace that God puts on someone. So he has that and

he has seen leadership modeled through out his life.

You have to see both good and bad leadership modeled for you year after year.

You have to be around leaders.

The next thing this person needs as a leader of leaders

is that he has to add leadership skills to himself on a regular basis.

The last thing is that he has to have self discipline to be a great leader.

If you are called to be a leader of leaders, you have to have some grace from God for that

you need to see good leadership modeled for you through out your life

and you need to be pushing yourself to grow in your personal leadership skills

and you have to have self discipline and desire and focus about personal growth on a regular basis

If you can put that package together, you will be able to grow to be a leader of leaders.

That has great influence and is very effective in leadership.

Another leader can be called the learned leader.

I'm taking some of this teaching from John Maxwell. I've been reading some of his books on leadership.

This is from him. I'm stealing it from him, but it's good stuff.

He is talking about the 'learned leader'. This leader has seen leadership modeled for most of his life;

he has added leadership skills to himself through training and he has self discipline to become a great leader.

He wasn't specifically born with this unusual grace of God to become a leader but he has seen good

leadership modeled for him through out his life. He has been receiving training and getting more skills

and equipped and he has this desire. This self motivation and discipline to train himself to become a better leader.

That's a higher lever leader. We need more of those.

I'll give you a last example of one other leader.

John calls him the 'limited leader'. This is a type of leader who has little or no exposure to leaders.

Or to leadership. He has little or no exposure to training to become a leader,

but yet he still has the desire to become a leader.

He probably does not have the potential to become the greatest leader of leaders but he has

the potential to become a leader and give leadership to different things.

Though he doesn't have a lot of exposure to good leadership

He doesn't have a lot of training. But just having a lot of desire and motivation to become a leader

that person is qualified to grow into a place of leadership.

I think I'm going to stop here because of time.

We could continue to talk about this subject. It's an important subject.

The guests are with us from different nations.

The goal of what we do here in the mornings is to train and equip young leaders to be sent

to serve in the local body in Israel.

That's why we gather throughout the week for times of worship, prayer, teaching

so that we can experience God's presence, hear the voice of Holy Spirit

be trained and equipped ourselves and also receive training and equipping from our leaders

so that we are better equipped an empowered to go and serve and strengthen the local body

here in Israel and also the international ekklesia, the body around the world as God leads us.

Amen. Thank you.

I'm on Patreon! - Duration: 1:55.

Hello, I'm Sandra and I'm really excited

because I'm trying out Patreon!

This platform is a little new to me but I think

it's going to be really really cool.

Basically how it works is that you

choose the amount you want to support me with

pr new video and in return you get rewards

for example for one dollar

pr new video do you get to see my latest

video before everyone else, before it's out on YouTube!

And for 2 dollars you also get the mp3,

and so on it goes

the higher the amount, the more you get in return

and you always get

all previous rewards as well

I have set a few goals. If / when I reach $500

pr new video I can spend more time doing videos

so I will upload a video every week

and when I reach $800 I can do it twice a week

For example 1 video and 1 live chat or concert.

I will do two videos every week!

An of course every single dollar helps and

your support means so much to me I can't even

explain it

you encourage you to continue doing what

I'm doing and I really

appreciate it, thank you so much

So I hope you want to try this out with me. Thank you :)

Nightcore - Dark Places【Hollywood Undead】Lyrics & Spectrum - Duration: 3:51.

[Danny:] (Dark places, dark places)

(Dark places, dark places) (Dark places, dark places)

(Dark places, dark places)

I've come way too far for this I've put in too much work

I've dealt with too much hurt I've worked way too hard for this

But we live in dark places, dark places I've come way too far for this

I've put in too much work I've dealt with too much hurt

I've worked way too hard for this But we live in dark places, dark places

[J-Dog:] People say that I'm pissed off

Cause I like to shit talk But people are fake

So just wait till their jaws lock Tick-a-ti-tick-tock

The click of the wrist watch Time is running out

On my way to the tip-top So fuck it, I can't stop

Been waiting for too long Started my own plot

It's starting with this song Damned if I'm dead wrong

Who wants to fight a lion?

Motherfuckers who hate Just wait for me to die trying

Like I'm gonna stop now?

Like I'm gonna cop out?

Show these motherfuckers I ain't willing to drop out

So maybe I'm pissed off Because I've been ripped off

This industry's a bitch and she'll rip your dick off

Famous and broke And into a joke

But I've come way too far Not giving up hope

I'll keep breaking my back And I ain't gonna choke

Show these faggots on top That I keep climbing the rope

[Danny:] I've come way too far for this

I've put in too much work I've dealt with too much hurt

I've worked way too hard for this But we live in dark places, dark places

I've come way too far for this I've put in too much work

I've dealt with too much hurt I've worked way too hard for this

But we live in dark places, dark places

[Johnny 3 Tears:] When you come from nothing

You wanna die for something So I started to run

And just kept on gunning Dark heart, dark thoughts

In a blacked out room Macked out, Cadillacs

Click-clack, go Sung you a song

The words went right through And I can't haunt a house

If it haunts me too So let's draw the line

And it's me and it's you I do it all the time

And Johnny 3 don't lose Can you write some checks that you can't cash?

So I'm a little bitter, baby, keep on coming back

Yeah, there's just some things that I can't stand

A little trigger-happy, so come on, let's dance

Yeah, fuck your virtue Your lie and your meaning

With the writing on the wall But you just can't read it

Comes back around Man, you better believe it

If you got a dark heart I'm gonna motherfucking bleed it

[Danny:] I've come way too far for this

I've put in too much work I've dealt with too much hurt

I've worked way too hard for this But we live in dark places, dark places

I've come way too far for this I've put in too much work

I've dealt with too much hurt I've worked way too hard for this

But we live in dark places, dark places

[Charlie Scene:] Who's that walking up your block?

Pissed off with two glocks With a 40 in his fist

And a fifth of moon rocks Got his sleeves cut off

With marijuana tube socks Smoking pot in the drop-top

Bumping Kid Rock I'mma smoke another spliff

And chase it down with six shots That guy's cockier than shit

Like a guy with six cocks And I can't stop saying dick

Dick, dick and then cock Hick-a-dickery-dick-a-dick-a-dickery-dock

So talk shit and get socked Or kick rocks and get lost

Or get dropped and get topped This hip-hop shit gets hot

This is not a pit stop And I'm not gonna stop

Until I'm on the top Like your mom on a cock

So when you see me in your hood, yeah, you better think twice

Let me give you all a muy poquito piece of advice

If you push me any further It's the end of your life

And I'll kill you like the sixteen bars I killed on this mic

[Danny:] I've come way too far for this

I've put in too much work I've dealt with too much hurt

I've worked way too hard for this But we live in dark places, dark places

I've come way too far for this I've put in too much work

I've dealt with too much hurt I've worked way too hard for this

But we live in dark places, dark places

(Dark places, dark places) I've come way too far for this

(Dark places, dark places) I've worked way too far for this

(Dark places, dark places) I've come way too far for this

(Dark places, dark places) I've worked way too hard for this

But we live in dark places, dark places

Veganism's Puritan Problem Part 1 - Duration: 12:33.

Hey there modern vegans and vegan curious, it's Margaret.

And today, I'm going to be doing part 1 in a series of two

parts in response to Gary Francione's recent video

"''But it's Just a Little Bit' and Dumpster Diving"

In his video, Francione talks about contamination with small amounts of animal products, and

dumpster diving.

In this, part 1 of the series, I'm going to be talking about 'contamination' with small

amounts of animal products.

Let's get to it.

Intro

So on Wednesday, January 25, Gary Francione,

famed professor of Abolitionist Veganism,

released a video discussing two different things:

Contamination with animal products and Dumpster Diving.

And today I'm talking about "contamination" with animal products.

And particularly, Francione's contention that it is non-vegan to eat potatoes that have

been fried in the same oil that has also been used to fry animal products.

In his video, Francione says that if we're to eat something like french fries that have

been fried in oil that has also touched animal products,

what is to prevent us from ordering pasta with cheese,

or another dish that has ground beef sprinkled on top.

Those are the two examples that he uses, and I want to say that yes,

it is completely different, and here's why.

When you're ordering fried potatoes, first of all,

there's a negligible amount of oil animal product within those fried potatoes.

Certainly if you had an allergy to say, fish,

you probably wouldn't want to eat those fried potatoes,

but if you're a vegan, what you don't want to do is to exploit animals.

in fact, in the Vegan Society's definition of veganism,

the idea is to avoid animal products "wherever practicable or possible".

And I do believe this is a case where it is not practicable to completely avoid animal

products.

So in 1949, the Vegan Society defined veganism as

"a philosophy and way of living which seeks to exclude

- as far as is possible and practicable -

all forms of exploitation of, and cruelty to,

animals for food, clothing or any other purpose."

So as far as this definition is concerned,

what we as vegans are doing is trying to avoid - as

far as is practicable or possible - contributing to the

use and exploitation of animals.

Simply stated.

And I think that the case of the fried potatoes is an exception

to that, and I'm going to tell you why.

When you're eating fried potatoes, first of all, as anyone

who knows anything about frying foods, when you're frying

food, the oil is absorbed much more than it is given off.

So in order to fry chicken, that chicken, if it has breading,

is going to be absorbing much more fat than it is actually giving off.

That's just a fact of life when you're frying something.

That's just kind of the way it works.

So there is more oil being absorbed by the breading of that chicken than there is being

given off by the chicken.

But more importantly, when you purchase fried potatoes,

you are not purchasing an animal product.

You are purchasing a plant food, and that's what the money goes toward.

On the ledger of that company, it's going to say fried potatoes

-it's not going to say anything else.

They know that the recipe for those fried potatoes contains no animal products.

And you can check of course - it used to be, for example,

that with - I think it was McDonald's - they were using beef flavouring in their fries.

And of course, if they're using something like that,

then that product is not vegan, because when you're buying it,

you are contributing to the use of animals, and the reason is

because that product explicitly contains animal flavourings,

and that's something that the company knows and they keep track of.

Whereas, with just fried potatoes, if you already asked if it has got beef flavouring,

say it doesn't, it's just potatoes -

then if you're eating fried potatoes that are fried in that oil that's used for everything

else,

your dollars are going towards potatoes.

They're not going towards anything else.

The company is not getting the message "oh, we need to add more beef flavouring," or "oh,

we need to add more beef product".

None of that kind of stuff.

There's no animal products involved in this whatsoever.

It's simply the fact that it has been "tainted",

as Francione might consider it, with animal product.

and the fact that Francione compares this with eating pasta

with cheese on it, or eating a product with beef sprinkled on it-

those would both be recipes.

If you work at a kitchen,

if you have ever worked in a restaurant, or food establishment

and you're given instructions for how to prepare a food,

yes, it is important if someone orders a product that is sprinkled with cheese to know that

product was sprinkled with cheese.

If the dish said "no cheese", then that would be something that would be signalling to the

management that was not in demand.

So, yes, I do think that is important.

Obviously,

if you order pasta, you want to say "no cheese",

that's a very simple and very reasonable decision to make.

And the same with anything that might be sprinkled with ground beef,

if it comes to you with ground beef on it, you can send it back

and say "no, I don't want it with ground beef."

And that's perfectly reasonable.

But when it comes to this issue of the oil being tainted

with the fat of a chicken, it is purely about purity.

And I think that's really important.

I think that a lot of Francione's ideas are puritan.

I don't know if he himself is influenced by a puritan theology,

but he seems to present a form of veganism that is quite puritan in its nature.

The idea that we need to keep ourselves pure from animal products is concerning to me,

and I think it's even going against some of the ideas that Francione presents in his own

books.

If you were to tread the Abolitionist Approach to veganism,

his 2016 book that I reviewed recently,

he makes it very clear that we are not to support the exploitation or use of animals,

that animals are moral beings.

But what he doesn't really explain or explicate so much in that book

is the idea that we also need to avoid any possible contamination with animal products.

And that's what I think the problem is here.

I realized, thanks to many other people who've talked with me about this,

and I've discussed this with some other people,

in order to prepare for this video - but I think that

the challenge for me in this instance is that I think consequences are important.

And I think Gary Francione doesn't.

I think that he cares more about rules.

And for him, the rule,

as he states explicitly in this video,

is that vegans do not consume animal products period.

But I consider that slightly ridiculous,

because we're always using animal products.

If you've ever purchased or used anything made of plastic,

it contains animal products.

And certainly, in my opinion,

this falls into the "practicable" part of veganism.

It is not practicable or possible, in my opinion,

to be using animal-product-free plastic all the time,

because it simply doesn't exist.

If you're going to

use plastic wrap, if you're going to use waxed paper,

if you're going to eat something at a restaurant that uses waxed paper,

then you're automatically non-vegan if it's the mere

contamination with a single cell of that animal organism that

renders you non-vegan.

I think it's not just even about intent,

it has to be about consequence.

And this is my own personal philosophical viewpoint,

but I think that the idea that we can't "sully ourselves"

with animal products is problematic.

I think the notion that we can keep ourselves "pure"

from any contact with animals that have been misused

is impossible.

We live in a world that is built on animal

exploitation.

And that is a tragedy, and I think that our job as vegans is letting the world know that

we don't want to contribute to the profitability of that,

but we can't end the use of it completely without being part of the system.

It's simply impossible.

I've mentioned previously on this channel that if you walk on pavement,

you're talking advantage of animal products,

because asphalt contains animal products.

If you ride in a car that uses biofuel,

you are likely taking advantage of animals as well,

because most biofuel contains tallow, or beef fat.

And even if you were to take public transportation,

you're still getting exposed to a small amount of that.

And I think that is not dissimilar from what Francione is talking about in this video.

If you are to eat those potatoes, it's no different from riding the subway, from taking

a bus,

from doing almost anything else that we would do in our daily lives.

We're always going to be coming into contact with animal products,

until we eliminate them.

The more important question for me is "how do we eliminate them?

And I think we eliminate them by letting people know that they are not profitable.

By not contributing to profit centres.

And I suppose this is rather Utilitarian of me,

and it's simply the way my mind works,

but I think we should not be contributing to the ongoing use

of animals, and the ongoing profitability of animal use.

Eating those fries is in no way contributing to either one of those things.

If you eat french fries, you are not saying that

"we need to keep frying chicken", number one - I mean,

you're not in any way contributing to the demand for fried chicken by eating a fried

potato.

And you're not saying it's okay, either.

I think that the far more important thing is to advocate for animals in other parts

of your life, but those potatoes -

I'm sorry, Francione, but that has nothing to do with it.

And your personal purity is not the issue here.

The issue, in my view, is the suffering, use and abuse of animals.

We need to be ending that.

We need to be sending the message loudly and clearly that we do not support the use or

abuse of animals, that we don't support their exploitation -

that's what we need to be sending across.

Not the idea that it's somehow impure to eat a potato that has touched a chicken.

It reminds me more, in fact, of religious law surrounding purity from the Old Testament.

It seems to have far more to do with that than it does with anything else.

This may simply be my philosophical and ethical standpoint,

but I would really love to hear from you guys.

I want to know

what you think about this, do you eat french fries?

Or items that are cooked on a stove that is also used for animal products?

Where do you draw the line?

Because for me,

I have to draw the line at consequence, and intent

because in order to draw the line at contamination -

there's so many things that - I mean, I live in Canada.

I couldn't use our currency, I couldn't use a credit card,

which is also produced on a machine that uses tallow -

it becomes absolutely impossible.

And in my mind, that's where we absolutely need to be focusing on the consequences of

our behaviour.

Because ultimately, to me, consequence is what matters.

But I really want to know what you guys think,

I want to know if you would eat those potatoes or not,

do you think Francione is right?

Please let me know, because this is something that has been bothering me since I saw the

video.

Not bothering me because I'm concerned that he's right,

but bothering me in that, I think he is fundamentally leading

the vegan movement down the wrong path.

So I'd love to hear what you guys have to think about this.

If you liked this video, please like, share and subscribe.

And let me know down below what you think about it.

Thank you so much for watching,

and I will see you in my next video, where I'll be discussing dumpster diving.

Take care.

Bye.
