China tests intercontinental missile with 10 warheads - Duration: 3:03.

China has reportedly tested a new modification of its Dongfeng-5 ICBM capable of carrying

a payload of 10 individual warheads.

The test may indicate a shift in China's nuclear policy or an attempt to put pressure

on the Trump administration, experts say.

In the flight test of the DF-5C missile conducted in January, the rocket was fired from the

Taiyuan Space Launch Center in central China and to an impact range in the western Taklamakan

desert, reports the Washington Free Beacon's senior editor, Bill Gertz, citing US defense

sources.

The missile was carrying a multiple independently targetable reentry vehicle (MIRV) bus containing

ten inert warheads.

Earlier versions of the DF-5 have either a single warhead or from six to eight MIRVs,

according to estimates.

Gertz says the development may indicate a shift in China's nuclear deterrence policy

to modify older rockets with new MIRV busses, which could mean China intends to increase

the number of warheads it possesses.

It is currently estimated to have about 250.

This would, in turn, force the US to review its own deterrence strategy in order to find

a balance between China's growing capacity and Washington's nuclear limitation commitment

to Russia.

Another theory is that the test was part of the development of a MIRVed payload that will

eventually be used on the more advanced DF-41 missiles.

China tested a DF-41 in April of last year and reportedly deployed some of the missiles

earlier this month in the northern Heilongjiang Province, which borders Russia.

China is estimated to have about 20 DF-5 missiles, which have two stages and range of over 12,000

kilometers.

The drawback of its liquid-propellant design is that it takes up to two hours to fuel and

prepare for launch.

The test comes amid a period of heightened tensions between China and the US in the wake

of the election of Donald Trump as America's 45th president.

Trump has threatened to oppose China on a number of fronts, from its military build-up

in the South China Sea to its monetary policy.

He has even cast doubt on Washington's long-standing commitment to the "one China policy,"

which regards Taiwan as one with mainland China governed by Beijing.

Officials in Beijing have warned Trump against entering a confrontation, while some Chinese

government media outlets have published a number of reports calling for strengthening

the Chinese military to compensate for an increased perceived threat from the US.

Unlike China, the US has not pledged not to use nuclear weapons in a first strike, although

the nuclear option is reserved for only dire circumstances in US military doctrine.

L'gosseux d'bois Ep 128 - Je fabrique un système de filtration de poussière pour l'atelier - Duration: 17:29.

Hi, on The Woodpecker this week , I'm making a dust fiterinng system.

My workshop is covered with dust. It's everywhere.

Even on my nice shelves. I'd like to do something about it....

I have had a patreon page for a little bit more than a year now and one of my goals is, if I have enough patronage, to buy a dust filtering system.

But with only ten patrons, by the way thank you very much to all of them, I won't be able to afford one before I get sick...

This is the reason why I looked for used, force air blower fans.

I want to put two dust filters; one on each side of the air intake, just like this.

First thing's first, I need to take some

measurements and draw something.

The red parts will be wood and the green parts will be openings to let the air inside.

Since I want to join the box with finger joints, I need to start by making a jig for that.

The first thing I do, is cut a square hole.

Now that I have a hole, I need a key to fill it.

So I rip a piece of maple.

When I try it, it's obvious that it's too wide; I need to fix this.

Now it's perfect. I need to glue it in place.

I leave that aside to dry, taking care to make sure it's square.

While the glue dries, I cut all the sides for both boxes.

I have a lot of cuts to make, but it's not that bad after all.

Now I'm ready to finish the jig.

This is really simple; I just have to put a setup block, the same size as the router bit,

beside the key and from behind, I mark where the holding screws will be.

So after drilling some pilot holes, I can screw the jig in place.

And cut two test pieces.

Humm, when I try this, I can see it's not working...

The jig moved while I screwed it the first time.

I fix this and cut another test piece.

Now it's perfect; I can cut all the sides.

It's quite simple; the first cut is done by pushing the pieces up to the key and by cutting the first finger.

Next, I lay the hole I just made on top of the key and cut another finger.

I do that until all the fingers are cut.

When I'm done, I try a dry fit.

I use this opportunity to try one blower inside.

And one filter. This will be perfect.

I use the actual filter to trace the part I need to cut.

Then I measure the right width and mark what I need to cut. Then I can cut all the pieces.

When I'm done, I'm ready to glue it all, but I want to draw my logo on the filters,

so I need to paint those piece beforehand.

But the paint is too thick to be sprayed, so I dilute it with varnish.

After a good stir, I can use the spray gun.

I spray two coats like that.

When the paint is dry, I draw my logo on the first one.

This does a very nice job; I just need to make a couple of touch ups here and there.

But this also destroys my felt pen...

I'll try to do better for the rest.

I'm going to make a device to apply some pressure but also follow the unevenness of the wood.

I begin by using my biggest hole saw and drilling a hole in a piece of scrap.

The hole should be the same size as the router motor;

so I need to enlarge it.

Step one. Now I need to remove a small part.

That way, I'm able to clamp the piece onto the motor.

Now I need to find the size of my pen;

but it's not straight. I drill a hole anyway.

I rub the pen with wax, and put the pen in place;

then I can fill the gap with epoxy.

The next day, I remove the pen.

I drill two pilot holes and, to apply some pressure on the pen, I add an elastic band.

And this is how everything will work.

Now I can draw the rest.

While it's drawing on one side, I do some touch up elsewhere.

After a while, I'm ready to begin to glue the boxes.

This is quite simple; a little bit of glue and then everything goes together.

Last thing to do, is to put clamp pressure.

To check if it's square, I use the actual filter.

I don't have enough clamps to clamp two boxes at once,

so while I wait for the glue to dry, I make a base for the blower that doesn't have one.

I begin with the sides.

After drilling the mounting holes, I can measure the bottom and cut it.

Now I just need to assemble all the pieces together.

Finally both blowers have a base now,

this means I can remove my clamps.

And glue the second box.

The next day, the glue is dry, but some of my fingers are less than perfect...

To fill this, I make a mix of glue and dust and push this paste into the small gaps.

While this dries, I work on the inside of the boxes.

I begin by putting a blower inside.

With it inside, I can figure where to put the wood strips under the base.

After cutting them, I mark where they should go and glue the strips in place.

I can also straighten the sides of the boxes.

I also need to mark the hole which will throw out the filtered air.

To do so, I put the blower in place and trace around the output port.

Next, I drill small holes on each corner.

Now, I can use those holes to trace the shape of the hole from the outside.

So after drilling some holes to let the jigsaw blade through, I cut those holes.

Now, I need to work on the bottom of the filter.

I begin by measuring what I need and cut thin pieces of plywood.

For the horizontal part, I glue together some finger joints I made, to help me clamp the boxes.

I don't want to waste this nice plywood; it's too expensive.

While the glue dries, I can glue some small pieces of wood to hold the bottom strips in place.

Now that my wood paste is dry, I can sand the excess.

Humm, I still have some gaps here and there.

This time I use regular wood paste; this will dry quicker.

The glue of the finger joints glue-up is now dry, I need to sand this nice.

This will look just like that;

the only thing I need to do is to glue all the pieces in a L shape.

But nothing is preventing the filters from being pushed down the box; I fix that right away.

I begin by tracing where I want the filter to stop.

And glue wood strips.

Now I'm ready to finish painting the boxes. But before that, I need to cover my nice drawings.

And like last time, I dilute the paint and spray two coats on the rest of the boxes.

When the paint is dry, I remove the masking tape and spray one coat of varnish on top of everything,

even on the inside.

Now that the finish is dry, I can prepare myself for the final assembly.

I begin by marking the placement of the blowers' fixing screws and drill some pilot holes;

but I don't screw them in place yet.

Then the holes for the bottom of the filters.

I also staple some screen in front of the blowers' output.

If you're asking yourself why I install some screen there, well, I sometime have birds inside the shop; this might be cute, but it's also messy.

This one is one of the lucky ones, I opened the window to let it out.

The previous one was not that lucky; here's what's left of it...

It's not a pretty site. I know, sorry...

But it's because of Renée's killer.

Now mini pinschers will be the next breed that Montreal's mayor will ban on his territory.

But if you're asking yourself how a bird can make it inside the shop, well it's quite simple.

During the summer, there's a big gap under the front door; enough for a bird to walk inside.

But during the winter, I add this sill under the doors.

But the installation is not complete yet. I still need some hardwood washers to screw the boxes in place.

Now I can put the filter boxes in place.

I lay the empty boxes directly on the tie beams.

Then I screw them in place.

Next, come the blowers.

And it's their turn to get screwed in place.

Next step; the electricity.

One plug is always hot and the other can be turned off or on with a switch;

just in case I need to change my setup in the future.

Then I screw a plug at the end of the motor wires.

But I have one small problem; I have no place for a wire to go...

This is an easy fix.

Done.

But to screw the electrical boxes at the bottom of the filter, I need to add a piece of wood.

To keep the blocks in place, I spread some epoxy and nail them in place.

Then I can screw the boxes.

And try it for the first time.

Ok this is working just fine; I can install the filters now.

I begin with the back ones.

Because of the rafters, I have to put the filter before the wood bottom.

Next I can install the controller and the other bottoms.

And with this last filter, my installation is complete.

I think I can change my patreon goal now, but with such a small amount of patrons, I have a lot of time to think about my next goal.

I'm really happy with my two new filters.

They work great and because of them, you'll be able to see me, probably even for several more years, on The Woodpecker.

Tanki Online V-LOG: Episode 123 - Duration: 6:40.

This following is an unofficial translation Tanki Online is not responsible for the quality and accuracy of these subtitles

Hello Tankers!

In this episode of the V-LOG, we'll be giving you a progress report on the Clan system.

We'll also be telling you about the new settings menu,

and showing you the Artillery turret for the first time!

As you might have heard,

last week the Russian forum was completely wiped out due to an unfortunate event.

The forum is now back up,

but many of you are comparing this new installation to the old forum.

"Where is the Like button?"

"Why is the background white?"

"Is this what's going to happen to the English forum"?

Don't worry.

For now, we're just using the basic settings from the installation.

But you can definitely expect some changes soon.

The Like button has already been added.

At a later point, we'll add rank icons,

and eventually give players the option to choose their preferred theme:

white background with black letters,

OR the more familiar black background with white letters.

For now, let's take it step by step.

Clan licenses are finally available for purchase.

The Clan system is tested and finalized.

The maximum number of members for each clan is 12.

Eventually, once we add the special Clan currency,

it will be possible to increase the number of members.

We've already received some great feedback from some of our veteran esports players,

who had the opportunity to test the Clan system over the past week.

Keep in mind that, besides being able to join PRO-battles without using a PRO Pass,

clan members can also take part

in a new kind of battle that is only available for clan members,

and that protects players from mults and sabotage.

Check this out!

With the latest update, supply drop zones no longer disappear over distance,

and this is something that you will need to get used to,

because it is part of the optimization process

meant to decrease the number of critical errors in the game.

We are currently preparing a bunch of optimizations

meant to decrease the number of critical errors AND lags, even more.

We'll be sharing our results with you in upcoming episodes.

By the way, it is now much simpler to find a gold box drop zone.

But be careful not to confuse it with a SpeedUp drop zone!

A couple of episodes back,

we told you that the Player Rating system would be returning to the game.

Well, here it is!

You can find your toughness metric on the right hand side of your experience bar.

Unfortunately we haven't added Player Ratings to player profile pages yet.

That will come a bit later.

Another item from our latest update, is the new Settings menu.

It is now broken up in sections,

and while everything is grouped together, the different areas are not stuck to one screen.

This leaves us with more available space to add even more options.

For example, there is now a mouse sensitivity setting,

and an option to invert the Y axis, because some mouse users prefer

to have the camera look down when pushing the mouse forward.

This was already available using the game console,

but having it in the menu makes it much more convenient.

And the most interesting change is that players can now customize their controls.

You can change the controls for moving the tank,

the camera and even change the button for dropping gold boxes,

putting it somewhere far away from the other supply buttons.

And one more important thing.

Changing controls is connected to the client or browser, but not to the account.

This means that you can have different control settings on different devices.

In the last episode we launched a contest.

You had to send us a design of what you think the new Artillery turret will look like.

We received more than four hundred entries.

Now, it's time to reveal the looks of the new turret.

Please welcome Tanki's Artillery turret!

Groovy isn't it?

There were two ways for you to win a prize:

Either your design was close to the original Artillery turret

OR your design was really cool.

Additionally, we set no limit on the number of winners,

and each will receive a prize of 20 thousand crystals.

Here are the images that we thought were the best.

You can find the full list of winners in the V-LOG thread on the Forum.

The link is below the video.

Congratulations!

In the next episode,

we'll be sharing with you more details on the turret and it's unique functions.

We'll also be showing you what it looks like on different hulls,

and announcing an estimated release date.

Video of the week!

A week ago we asked you to shoot a video on the Molotov map.

Let's see the best submission.

For next time, there will be a CHALLENGE!

We want you to jump from THIS point on the Skyscrapers map, to THIS point.

How you do it is not important, BUT it must be one jump,

and you all must be wearing the Metallic paint.

Team size doesn't matter,

but of course, the bigger the team, the smaller the prize for every member.

This task is pretty challenging, so we have two nice prizes:

200 thousand crystals for the first team who manages to complete the task

and 200 thousand crystals for the best video, even if it's not the first

Go for it!

Good luck!

That's it tankers!

As you can see, our developers are moving at full speed

and working hard to put out a ton of cool stuff.

Follow the news and don't miss any of the upcoming episodes!

See you!

Last time, Wasp drove over 4 mines and was pushed forward by 4 Striker missiles.

You had to guess where it would land.

The correct answer is zone E.

Please welcome our winners.

Here's the next question.

How many Gold Boxes will Kasim manage to collect in 30 seconds?

How To Keep Your Dream Journal: Dream Journal/The Lucid Dreaming Expert: Keeping Your Dream Journal - Duration: 2:05.

Keeping a dream journal is advantageous in many ways.

It allows us to remember significant details of dreams we would forget very quickly otherwise.

It is also an emotional and creative outlet; a great psychological tool; and a way to find

patterns within dreams – as well as symbols which we can later decipher.

Keeping a dream journal is all about consistency and good habits.

Once you've committed to it, it's both easy but an incredibly insightful resource.

First start by deciding what kind of a journal you'd like to keep.

You could keep a book you write or draw in, as well as a phone or other voice recorder

so that you can save audio files of your narrated dreams.

Make a space close to your bed – like a bedside table – where you can keep your

journal and all the accessories you need (pens, a charger or batteries for your voice recorder).

Arrange your dream journal according to what works best for you.

You could have separate columns or spaces for the description of the dream and the interpretation,

or have a filing method which goes by themes; patterns; etc.

Many people name their dreams so that it's easier to refer to them later.

Most importantly is to record your dreams upon waking.

The finer details of a dream are quickly forgotten once we wake, so it's important that you

start recording soon after you wake up.

Take a few minutes to lie, in the same position you wake in, with your eyes closed and focus

on your dream.

Too much moving around can cause you to forget – so this step is important.

Finally – be free!

Don't worry about if your narrative or illustration is "good enough".

Write as freely as you want, and jot down as much information as you have time for.

The longer you keep it up, the more routine it will become, and you'll start to really

remember your dreams in far more detail.

As a last reminder – if you travel, take your journal with you!

You wouldn't want to skip a few days, and miss out on recording some possibly really

important dreams.

Easily Translate Movie Subtitles Everywhere - Duration: 6:37.

Have you ever found yourself watching a movie with people around you who don't understand

the language that is being spoken?

Or perhaps you're trying to watch something yourself, but the language is foreign...

I've personally found myself in the first scenario more times that I thought I would.

The most obvious solution would be to enable subtitles in a language that we understand.

But often times, the movies that we watch don't come with subtitles in foreign languages.

So that's what this video is about.

In this video, I will show you how to get custom subtitles on almost any website, as

well as how to translate and .SRT subtitles that you already have.

Starting off with YouTube.

YouTube is the easiest one.

Most other websites will require plugins to do this sort of stuff.

But when it comes to translating subtitles, it doesn't get any easier than YouTube.

So if you didn't already know, you can rent of purchase (movie) titles on YouTube.

One way to go about doing this is by going to youtube.com/movies.

However, I personally like to buy my movies from Google Play Movies because they also

work with YouTube (and vice versa,) and it's just a better experience over there.

Before you make your purchase, just make sure that your movie has subtitles so that this

will work.

Once you have your movie, go to your purchases page on YouTube on the left side.

Then find your movie, and play it.

There is a cogwheel on the bottom right of the video.

Click on it.

Then go to subtitles, and then enable the native option first.

Then go back to the cogwheel, go back to subtitles, this time go to auto translate.

There are like, a bajillion options here so take your time and find your option.

So, the auto-translated subtitles are actually fed through Google Translate.

So they're not perfect; they're machine-translated.

But they're almost there.

The second method I'll be demonstrating in this video is how to translate or insert your

own custom subtitles into Netflix movies.

This one is pretty easy actually, but it requires a little bit more work.

To insert custom subtitles into Netflix movies, you will need a plugin called Super Netflix. If

you are currently using the Google Chrome browser, this can be downloaded very easily.

Go to the Google Chrome Webstore, and search for Super Netflix.

And from here, it's as simple as installing an app.

To get your subtitles, you will need to go to a website called Subflicks.

Eve if you already have your own .SRT subtitle files, Super Netflix can only read .DFXP files.

So Subflicks will allow you to convert your .SRT files into .DFXP files.

Additionally, Subflicks hosts subtitles for various movies in a variety of languages Just

scroll down, you can use the search bar if need be, and look for your desired subtitles,

and download them.

Once you have your file, head over to Netflix.com.

Browse to the corresponding movie, and now in the top right corner, you should see a

button that looks like a speech bubble.

Click on it, browse to your file, and now in the speech bubble on the bottom, you should

be able to see your custom subtitles.

The last method I will be showing in this video should work for nearly all content on

the web that is played in video form.

It is a little more complicated, though, and currently, it is infinitely more finicky.

I would only really recommend this option if you're an advanced user.

Even then, it still takes quite some time to figure out.

So back on the Google Chrome Webstore, there are a number of plugins that enable subtitles

HTML5 videos.

Now I can't personally recommend any of these because my experience with all of them haven't

been very smooth.

This was a while ago, but I just didn't find them very reliable at all.

Generally, downloading one of these plugins will give you a button in the top right corner

where your toolbar is.

And you would use that to insert custom subtitles in your videos.

Now, to my knowledge, all these plugins use .SRT subtitle files.

So you won't have to do and conversions with Subflicks.

Now I'm going to go over where you can get custom .SRT subtitle files.

This is beneficial for pretty much the last two of the three methods I've mentioned earlier.

Personally, my favourite website to get subtitle files from is YIFY Subtitles.

They have a pretty good user experience, but if you can't find what you're looking for

here, you can go to opensubtitles.org.

Now, don't worry if you can't a subtitle file for you desired language.

Just download the best one for now, I would usually go for the English one.

Then, go to translate.google.com/toolkit.

You will need a Google account for this.Don't worry, this is a Google service.

Once you're signed in, go to Tools on the left side.

And then Translation memories.

Then, hit Upload on the left.

From here, create a translation memory called Blank, and Add TM.

This file does not have to be shared as it will remain blank.

This step only has to be done once, so if you plan on translating more subtitles in

the future, you won't have to do this again.

Once you're done, go back to Active under Translations.

Hit Upload, upload your subtitle file and then chose your starting language.

In my case, I downloaded my subtitle in English so I will start off with that.

Then below, chose the language that you would like to have your file translated into.

Click Tools to expand, and make sure that your translation memory is set to Blank.

You can also leave glossary as none.

The next page will offer premium translations.

Click No, thanks on the bottom left... unless you want to pay a few hundred dollars for

a translated subtitle file...

Now click on the subtitle file that you just uploaded.

On the left side is the original text, but on the right side is the machine translated

text.

That's right, Google just automatically machine-translated your entire subtitle file at no charge.

Now again, since this is being put through Google Translate, it is not going to be perfect,

but it's good enough.

Now to retrieve your translated subtitles, go to File on the top left, and click on Download.

And there you have it!

Now, you know how to translate subtitle files and use them on practically any website on

the internet.

That's it for this video, I hope you learned something new, and I'll see you in the next

one.

Thanks for watching.

...Just want to show you that I'm not actually watching anything here...
