The Four Types Of Spirit Guides, According To A Psychic Medium.

by Dr. Kelly Neff,

I spent the majority of my life as a woman of science, trained that I must see to

believe as in, observe some kind of empirical evidence of all phenomena I choose to have

faith in.

Naturally, I had no faith in the afterlife or any life beyond my current physical body,

unable to observe it or to find even a shred of proof.

All of this changed four years ago, when I received a reading from one of Americas

most talented psychic mediums, Bill Philipps.

With no information about me, he was able to bring back clear, specific messages about

deceased relatives, loved ones, and even old friends of family members who I had never

met and never known existed.

There was simply no way he could know this information, not even with Google.

I was stunned.

And shocked!

It was the first time in my life I had witness a proof of something more, something

greater, and it resonated deeply within me as truth.

It was an experience that blew me wide open to the potential that there might be so much

more to this journey than meets the eye.

For the first time in my life, the skeptic in me came face to face with a challenging

question Could psychic mediums and spirit guides actually be REAL?

To address this question and so much more, I invited Bill on Lucid Planet Radio to discuss

what it means to be a psychic medium, how he developed his skills, how he does his work

and the types of messages that typically come through from spirit.

You can listen to the whole interview here and read so much more in Bills new book,

Expect the Unexpected.

Bill explains that many of us are psychic: In fact, our psychic senses such as our intuitions

and gut feelings are a birthright that we bring into this life.

Many of us can tune into the energies of people, objects, or situations that have already happened,

or develop a sense of the future (although the future is never set in stone because we

always have free will!)

According to Bill, the key to turning on your own psychic senses is to TUNE OUT the outside

world and begin to notice the subtle feelings and sensations deep inside that you might

not have noticed were there.

The power of prayer and meditation to still the mind can be hugely influential for connecting

with your innate psychic abilities and calling high vibrational spirit guides into your space.

What is a Psychic Medium?

What distinguishes someone as a psychic MEDIUM is the the way that they are able to connect

directly with spirit to bring through specific information.

Bill describes himself as channel for information to come through from the other side.

This is not an exact science, but it is more like a radio receiver that receives subtle

impressions from spirit which he then trusts and transmits to those who have come to see

him.

He explains that information is always coming through, but he is able to ignore it to a

certain extent except when people ask him for help (he equates it to tuning our someones

nagging).

He doesnt see dead people like in the sixth sense, but rather, he can tune in

to their voices speaking to him (this type of mediumship skill is typically described

as clairaudience).

Bill discovered his gifts early in life, when his mother began communicating with him after

her untimely death when he was 15.

While he remained in the closet with his gift for a long time, thinking he was

crazy or that it wasnt real, he eventually learned to embrace his truth and accept that

channeling messages of healing from the other side is indeed his calling.

You can learn so much more about Bills incredible journey by listening to this podcast,

and reading his wonderful new book, Expect the Unexpected, out now.

The Four Main Types of Spirit Guides

According to Bill, there are four main types of spirit guides that he communicates with

on the other side, who are here to help guide and protect the living

Deceased Loved Ones: Bill communicates most frequently with deceased loved ones, such

as family members and friends who knew the person during life.

Often, these individuals are part of larger soul groups that incarnate together

and then watch over each other from other side for 2-3 generations until it is time

to incarnate again, each time in different roles, to help teach new lessons that help

each others highest soul growth.

Spirits Sent To Help: These spirit guides are not necessarily people we have known in

life, but rather, could be guides from past lives or other spirits who have been sent

to protect us.

For example, someone in your soul group who passed before you were born could still

be watching over you as a guide.

Ascended Masters: These are people who lived highly evolved spiritual lives in the physical

realm (such as Jesus, Buddha, Ghandi, etc) who continue their journey in spirit to help

the living.

Their vibration is energetically higher than the previous two groups, and the ascended

masters are thought to guide many people.

Angels: According to Bill, the highest vibrational guides of all are the angels, who have never

inhabited a physical body before.

They are might of pure light, pure energy and pure love.

At any point, each of us may have a combination of these spirit guides watching over us and

protecting us.

All we have to do is ask for their help, and to look for the signs of their presence, which

can manifest in so many different ways: Dreams, songs on the radio, the numbers on the clock

(like 11:11), ringing phones, feelings of warmth, as well as actual visions or voices.

Prayer, which means your individual connection to the divine source, is an excellent way

to communicate with your guides.

Bill just reminds us to always Expect the Unexpected in how your prayers might be answered.

Bill also explains that YES, darker/denser spirits do exist, but he firmly and verbally

does not allow those vibrations to enter his space.

He chooses to focus on the healing messages and higher vibrational energies.

Whatever our vibration, we will attract more that, and so we all absolutely have the power

and ability to protect our spiritual space by maintaining a high vibration through mediation

and prayer.

We do not need to be afraid of dark or dense spiritual energies, we simply must affirm

our boundaries that they are not permitted in our space.

Messages of Hope From the Other Side

I asked Bill about the most common messages he receives from spirit when he does readings

for people.

Overwhelmingly, our spirit guides are here to show us that we DO live on after we die,

and that they are here to protect us and to show us love.

They want us to know that they are still with us, and that they are alright.

It can be a truly profound and life-changing experience to connect with these messages

from your guides.

Often, the living need some kind of proof to accept this message, and so spirit guides

typically provide very specific examples that only that person would recognize so that there

can be a sense of validation and reassurance that yes, this is REAL.

This was certainly the case in my reading.

The other main message from the other side revolves around leaving everything physical

behind, including money, power or fame.

There is NO MONEY on the other side.

There is also no time on the other side, and there are no celebrities or wealthy people.

We are all one, and everyone is EQUAL.

Given how easy it is to lose sight of this in our world, this is an incredibly powerful

message.

The expression, you cant take it with you really hits home here.

While we might need money to survive in this world, LOVE is truly the universal currency

that matters.

So, are psychic mediums and spirit guides real?

For me, Bill Philipps is absolutely the real deal, and his readings have brought so much

faith and spirituality into my life.

But are they real for you?

You get to decide for yourself.

Fire Emblem Heroes | Chasing the Dark Side of Mobile Gaming - Duration: 8:42.

If I told you Fire Emblem Heroes is bound to be Nintendo's greatest mobile gaming

success, would you believe me?

Because despite what numbers are saying, that's a very possible reality, easily surpassing

the experimental Miitomo and poorly conveyed, albeit fun, Mario Run, and that's because

Fire Emblem Heroes is the very definition of the Japanese mobile market and the games

that have dominated the top 10 spots of Free to Play titles in recent years.

I'm hesitant to put Pokémon GO in that list considering Nintendo's involvement

was little more than a formality and primarily the Pokémon Company's project with Niantic

and while Nintendo makes about 19% of revenue gained, all their personal endeavors have

been with DeNA.

Of course, a single glance at the series and it was clear this was going to be the route

it'd take on mobile no matter what happened, It just so happened to be developed by Intelligent

Systems alongside DeNA, one of Japan's largest developers to focus primarily on gacha implementation,

with their current most popular title, through their subdivision mobage, being Granblue Fantasy.

Which has proven to be popular enough to receive an anime adaptation, merchandise, commanding

large portions of show-floors at events, and an in-development action title developed by

Platinum Games.

With over 14 million players, primarily in Japan since the English version is only available

through desktop, the app's proven profitable enough to outperform and kill its predecessor

Rage of Bahamut, which had nearly double the player base, but less money spent per user.

Granblue isn't pulling in Puzzles & Dragons numbers of $1.5 billion in a year, but it's

still the kind of success Nintendo and investors have been hoping to replicate with their last

two titles.

And it's through that partnership that Heroes finds itself with its current identity as

an always online and gacha driven title.

But what puts Heroes above titles like Bahamut and Granblue is the simplicity and surprising

depth to its restricted gameplay and smaller maps that puts strategy at the forefront and

that tends to be what most Western mobile gamers shift towards and what performs best.

Bahamut and Granblue may require some strategy with your party beforehand, but the actual

gameplay can be summarized as simple tapping to attack whenever possible, but in Heroes,

placement and cooperation is key to success, making it more like Mistwalker's Terra Battle.

There may only be 50 missions for now, but the additional difficulties, challenges, and

a promised influx of new content every 2 weeks is more than enough to keep current players

happy and coming back for more, especially when it can take a month, two, or even more

for more established IPs to receive similar and sometimes smaller updates.

Of course what'll really determine Heroes' success from a financial standpoint is how

well its players take to its paid mechanics.

While gacha's proven successful in Japan, Western players prefer to know what it is

they're buying before they spend their money, so games often take to supplying players with

in-game currency that's used for pulling and restoring points to extend your play time,

something Heroes becomes quite stingy with later on, consuming nearly 15 of your 50 stamina

points just to play a single level, meaning you either wait to recover stamina or pay

to get more, but with gacha it's more like opening a pack of cards.

You only have an idea of what you'll get, but Nintendo is seemingly trying to work against

this in a way that works more in the player's favor by making the orbs used for gacha not

only easy to obtain, as are most of its other consumables, but they also work for upgrading

your base for more experience earned in battles, and lowering the amount needed to draw characters

in longer sessions where the characters pulled have a seemingly increased chance of being

rarer, to the point where in my first 5 draw string I actually got Camilla, who has been

my team's driving force since obtaining her.

She's no Leo, but the special animation that played when getting her exemplified the

feeling of satisfaction Nintendo wants players to have so their money feels well spent and

they keep buying.

Which is good in a highly competitive gacha market where 10% of players account for 90%

of revenue obtained because it makes the deal seem better in comparison to other mobile

titles where you may need to spend up to $800 just to get the character you want through

a mercy pull, where a character is a guaranteed get after you draw a set amount of times.

It takes a lot of consideration in just how much you want players to pay while making

sure they don't overspend and never pay again, or at least for an extended period

of time.

It's not just a consumer care concern, but a legal one too as the more a single player

spends trying to get a single character, the more likely the Japanese government is to

consider it gambling, which they're notoriously strict for.

It was a major issue back when a Granblue player spent over 6000 USD trying to get a

single character who was being promoted as having a doubled pull rate from 3 to 6%, which,

while true, was 0.12% due to the game's other drawable characters.

Despite Nintendo using that same 3% chance for its 5 star characters like Leo, they've

taken certain precautions by limiting younger players money, but with adults, anything is

fair game.

In truth, it's only a matter of time before Heroes comes under controversy due to either

poor developer practice, misleading advertisements.

It's happened to virtually every major app game in Japan, but how big that scandal will

be is largely dependent on the active player base.

It's not exactly a stretch to suggest through Nintendo's name and Fire Emblem's pre-existing

and still growing fanbase, alongside passerby consumers, that Heroes will reach between

10 and 20 Million global users within a year or two, with a high majority of users and

sales being from Japan where the series has a longer history, more appealing design, and

users who will buy characters for the visuals or voice actor alone.

That may be a slower process depending on how strongly Nintendo markets the title, but

thanks to strong word of mouth through news articles and friends, the marketing kind of

does itself.

It's only supplemented by the fact that fans are eagerly sharing their rare draws

and that Nintendo hired multiple artists to assist in character portraits, who have been

eagerly sharing their contributed pieces on social media, to the point where it was one

of the first things I'd always see when logging into Twitter.

And that trend is bound to continue the more characters are added and the more artists

they hire.

While Heroes has proven successful enough to bring in 2 million downloads and nearly

$3 Million in its first day, only about $65,000 of which is estimated to come from the US,

its long-term success is the biggest part of the picture.

Even if Heroes performs as well as Rage of Bahamut and rakes in $43,000 a day on average

after its inevitable slowdown, that's still over $15 Million a year.

It's unlikely to reach Pokémon GO's revenue of 1.6 billion USD and counting, but if the

current spending trend continues with little variance, it could prove to at least be another

goldmine for Nintendo and perhaps more beneficial, even at only half a billion in revenue all

due to Nintendo personally receiving a larger portion of those sales, and that can be further

expanded upon with special and limited time promotions

that offer players a chance at unlocking rarer and exclusive characters, which already seems

certain with dataminers finding Christmas themed costumes in the game's code, even

if they only exist due to a delay from a prior fall release.

But what really matters for Nintendo right now is how well they can translate Heroes'

mobile success to sales of handheld games and the upcoming Switch and 3DS titles, which

shouldn't be a problem through special in-game campaigns/promotions encouraging players to

get both.

Nintendo is certainly a long ways away from where they were a few years back when Iwata

asserted they'd never go to mobile, and while the shift to mobile sounded both absurd

and "about timey" back then, I'm surprised by how well the Nintendo seal of quality has

translated to mobile with Heroes.

I was expecting something passable, but ended up sinking my whole day into the game, finishing

the currently available missions and starting over on hard mode.

You can tell the minute you start playing how much time and love was poured into the

final product and that's a rarity in the mobile market.

Nothing's for certain if Heroes will prove to be a true long-term success or if this

is just another passing fad like Nintendo's previous mobile applications, but for once

the future of a mobile Nintendo title at least seems like one that will leave costumers satisfied

and coming back for months on end.

I've certainly enjoyed the title enough to at least assert that for me that's likely

to be the case, but for the public at large, and those watching, I suppose we can only

wait and see.

I highly recommending watching my other videos when you get the chance and subscribing if

you want more.

I'd give away my Heroes friend code, but I already maxed out my list so feel free to

share your Heroes experience in the comments.

Thanks again so much for watching, I'll see you next time, much love.
