From impressive drama that everyone loves
I liked the lead actor. He's so handsome.
It's exactly sensational. Such a legend drama.
I bit my pillow whole watching.
I was addicted to it!
I was waiting to watch it.
To Thai version.
"Princess Hours"
Even the author still praised
When I met all of 3 actors, I thought they were exactly matched with the characters very well.
So I'm expected that all of them could do it well.
I got chance to watch it a little bit from the scenes that they just finished.
It's very fun. Everybody did it very well and it's very funny.
Halo Production made a remake of Full House before, so they did it very excellent and very successful.
It makes me feel relief and confident that they got my opus.
And I think Halo Production will do 'Princess Hours' well and it will definitely be a big hit.
That day, I was so glad (P'Jeab - Producer)
and impressive, I'd like to thank her for visiting here. It probably was her first time to visit Thailand.
She came to see the actors' workshop.
At first, I concerned that she would complain about the scripts
because we rewrote it. But the original one is from her comic.
So, I told her that our version would be like this. We had to insert our tradition.
But we had to reimagine
and recreate a new country
for our own version.
She understood that we had to remake it.
Every steps of remake and recreate was so hard.
That we had to remake it from the original perfection drama from Korea.
For Thai version, we needed to rethink and recreate all of it.
Because we couldn't copy them. It depended on each country's imperative.
So, when we had to remake something new
it was so hard and the hardest part was the dynasty.
We had to set the new royal family that more than anyone can imagine.
This part was very hard to make audience believe it.
How to make them into it and believe us.
This point was so hard but we needed to do it.
We had to research the information and discussed about how to make a realistic drama.
The story 'Princess Hours' was from Khaning who was a dream girl. (P'Nhui - Director)
She imagined herself as a princess and paired with a prince since she was young.
One day, all of a sudden, a destiny happened. Like got a chance and dream come true to get married with the Prince. It's love between social class.
Kaning came from lower-middle class in Thailand.
With Prince Inn, the noble prince of Bhutin.
The chaotic that happened in Princess Hours. It started from the assumed story of the country.
Actually, this story started from an ordinary girl and suddenly, she became a Princess of Bhutin.
From a basic family that open the small massage shop.
Her parents is the massager.
The chaos of Khaning's family which full of happiness and smiles. Everybody have always talked and laughed to each other.
The siblings are very closed to each other.
Be able to talk about everything. They are not rich but always happy.
Difference from another family, Prince Inn's family.
The king institution of Bhutin.
Everything will be under regulations.
There are rules of country, rules of inheritance. Everything must be perfect.
In order to be the next king. He has to be accepted by population.
Look like his life is lack of happiness. I mean the Prince Inn himself.
His parents want only him ready to be the next King.
But never understand what he really wants.
Then comes to this family which under the life's pressure.
Everything should be perfect. Less talk in the family and less fun.
Just only the coldness and making Prince Inn become cold-hearted guy.
When two families are encountered.
Khaning is only one who is happy and tells everything.
The lively girl and cold-hearted guy are together. The chaotic is happened.
Prince Inn has never met a talkative girl and teasing him like this before.
Then the chemistry is matched and happiness is happened when they are together.

Kaning's character is lovely and optimistic girl.
The heroines learned about arts. Love drawing.
She has always drawn the none-face prince since she was young.
How would be the prince look?
She loves to imagine, thinking something like that.
Put the Prince Inn's face. I think he will be handsome.
I think it's more work that finally he can get the face. Do you think so?

I role as Prince Inn who is calm and quiet character.

Minnie is the Prince Inn's friend since they were young.

Deep inside their mind are the good feeling to each other.
But due to Minnie's temptation to be Olympic athlete.
As the archer. So she kept her love as secondarily.
Actually, Prince Inn also had good feeling with her.
But she thought it's not time for love, later is better.
Finally, after realized the Prince will get married. Then she felt sad and possessive of him.

It's my honor to be on this show.
I'm not any extraoridany guy. Just a little businessman.
In this drama, I'm Phakin.
The businessman from Bhutin.
He thought that he could control everybody in his life.
Either his niece or princess. He thought everyone is underneath him.
This role is quite great.
But the way he communicates, he's quite teasy.
Sometime he is joking. Then everyone don't know what he really thinks.
So how is he going to be angry or not?
Or sometime he is a vehement person.
With his niece, he doesn't treat her like other people. They fight sometimes.
Boxing with her, though she got blood. He just wiped it and said 'Are you weak?'
Something like that. A little bit psycho.
I would like you to get ready for Phakin.
Don't judge him
Let's see and into him.
Otherwise, Phakin would bring you to the unexpected moment.
Bhutin Country
We expect them to be the land of fog at approximately 15 degree.
The momorised word to be 'Bhutin is the 15 degree country"
But actually is badly hot.
'Princess Hours' (The sound of 'Hours' in Thai means 'too warm')
The bride is so fussy. Couldn't take the candy at her front.
After we got break, how many pieces now?

everything will be better after you're full and you will have a happy life.
As advice on each role characters. Guarantee on the funs.
But the another best thing is the invention of Bhutin landscapes.
Over-imagined city to match with the production team layout.
We set Bhutin to be the land of fog at approximately 15 degree.
Over mountain with lake.
With flowers or something.
What we thought it would be at the North of Thailand.
When we think back to winter at 15 degree
We always think about the North. We imagined this country is the country of flowers.
Name of people are about smell of flowers. Foods are made from flowers
How the population spend their lives?
How are the faces, hairstyle, costumes traditional? Their main careers are planting of flowers.
For the export of perfume.
After that, I surveyed the locations.
At beginning, my imagine went so far. Oh.. The North
Cold...fog...whatsoever.. went so far.
Finally, we couldn't find anything.
The North didn't work. How about Pak Chong. Oh.. we found it.
We found what we imagined over the paper.
That this is the country we dream about.
Swanlake....I went there when it was winter.
Nice weather.
There is mountain and the highlight is man-made lake.
And there are swans.
There are swans amount 20 pairs both black and white.
When we stood over the lake, you would see the utter most sight of the mountain.
And a little fog. We said ..Oh.. This is Bhutin.
The palace of Princess Krissana.
It is so fantastic decoration at Swan Lake, Khao Yai. Main shooting site was at Khao Yai.
The first time I went there, I found it is so luxury and modern.
Each palace would match with each role character.
Some classic and some in modernize.
I felt very happy.
Overther, I think it is not Thailand.
Since the trees they planted aren't the local trees.
Very comfortable and nice scenery to see.
Mira Sherra is another place. The hotel for the horse rider.
Enter into the woods, with mountain
and horses with uttermost sight landscape.
It's really beautiful. I imagined of the Prince and horse riding . Otherwise, not chic at all.
So, we found Mira Sherra and it's lucky that.
Unfortunately, the owner of Mira Sherra knows my friend. So we made a contact and got the luck.
Another place is Kensington Gardens.
This is also amazing and wonderful. Khao Yai is so perfect.
This is the church for the Wedding Ceremony of the Prince and Princess.
Whereas the English garden is there and matched with our imagination.
Our three imaginations places of Khao Yai completely supported in Princess Hours, Thai version.
They accommodated all actors to stay
As both are the hotels.
It's amazing and wonderful for us in getting these locations.
Actually I have passed these shop several times.
I remember this cute restautant is at Aree Soi 3.. The Hamlet
They decorates in English garden style.
When we have done the editing in studio and surely that it is similar to Khao Yai scene.
They have good garden decoration. We started to contact.
And it's another amazing again that my friend knows the owner and they were willing to be our sponsor
of this drama, which is very thankful.
Everything seems to be smoothly done. -But there were something unexpected
That was the weather.
When we imagine about the 15 degree throughout the year.
The day of survey locations was exactly that.
Cool and comfortable. Even cool.
The director and teams were very joyful. This is Bhutin country. The weather is cold.
But when the actual production ran, it is summer.
The time we surveyed was winter, cold weather, wearing winter outfit.
But the day of actual shooting is April. Approximately 38 degree.
So,.. it is doom.
Life is doom. Actors and costumes are in hoop skirts.
With the real degree of Thailand about 38 degree.
But the actors had to pretend it is 15 degree.
In the series, the costumes would be about 3-4 layors.
Some are 5 layors.
So the hot weather in April during daytime about 38-40 degree. It's really hot.
And everyone had to pretend it is 15 degree and so cool.
The momorised word is Bhutin of 15 degree country.
But really hot actually.
In the site, we teased each other that "Come on! today we are shooting ....what ?
Princess Hours. (The sound of 'Hours' in Thai means too warm.)
The dress are the closets which need to be tightened.
And the skirt is heavy and long.
Put on crown, flower and hoops inside.
When the skirt is heavy and tight, hot weather. I was tired and hard to breathe. Something like that.
The bride was so fussy. As candy was at her front but could not eat.
After we got break, how many pieces now?

everything will be better after you're full and you will have a happy life.
After the sound "cut". Only 10 minutes break, I felt like "Can I put off my dress?". Then It's ok after a little relax.

Grandmother, father, mother
Kaning and me. We are on completely dress up. In hoop skirt.
In thick fabric.
Oh! It's around 35 degree at Khao Yao.
And this cloth. Look at my father. He is vampire or Count.

Very heavy. It's heavy though unwear. When it's put on with full of accessories.
Feel like I'm shorter.

The weather is the helper. Make it more hot.
It's not only what you've seen. Some more inside with the hoop.

Even though everyone said it was hot.
But at the time of shooting. Everyone did all their best.
For the best results.
Ok! For the beauty.
Another fantastic creative from the team.
Make it close to the imaginations. It's the costumes.
The attractiveness on this series, the first thing is costumes.
The signature of this country is flowers.
There must be flowers on every costumes.
Noticable that there will be flower on the Prince collar.
On the suit.
It's to confirm that Bhutin is the real country of flowers.
So the heroines' costumes would be in 2 parts. Her home part...
for the girl in hipster looks.
Joyful and cool.
In the part when she entered to the palace.
Heroines' costumes would be more elegant.

We designed and made it out to suit with heroines character.
For the palace portion, we've got supporting from Lynn Around.
Lynn Around is matched with Kaning's character in palace.
In Princess character and beautiful
and joyful character at the same time.
For the King Thada, we've got sponsor from CMC Group.

Daniel Hechter and many brands in CMC group.
Minnie is having high sportsgirl character.
Self-confident girl and confident in what her decided as her character.
So the costumes would be shown on her charm of dressing.
She is confident on her body show-up.
Adidas brand has provided for other role too. Such as..
in scenes of Lady Krissana's activity with Phakin.
Tao Sethapongse was exactly in Prince role.
No one knows, this is his first time as Prince role.
And it's not easy for him.
P'Jieb told me, I must convince people that I'm the Prince at the first scene.
This is me. My normal looks is... then.
I just look at something like this. It's simple. But Prince looks.
With a unique look.

with a serious face.
My face would be like this.

Beside the Prince looks, one more thing the Prince should perform is..
The Prince must be capable on horse riding.
I've never ridden the horse before. He would bounce when walked like this..
I had to learn how to decline from hard to soft.

The trainer ordered me to ride.

I was so fun on riding.
But after went back home and in the morning.
Oh.. I was painful at my bottom while put on my pants.
I looked from mirror..Oh.. It's a wound.

I told the trainer about this problem. 'Teacher, my bottom is so hurt'
'Is it caused from crushing with my Jeans pants'
Or cause of my unable of the horse seat.
The trainer said is bottom-broke of the Prince.
The problem is happened when the horse stubborn.
He would be stubborn the whole day.
I have been trying to safe my bang hair.
Need to be straight all the time.
My forehead is opened.
Try to set it.
A little problem when sweat in hot weather. I had to take the hair-roll with me .
Is it eatable?
I about faint. I want to eat.
It decorated it very beautiful. I had every menus. It's so delicious.
They have taken high effort and imagination on making these dishes.
I do respect them.
To show up the picture of dishes of Bhutin.
It's worth to the audience and feeling of the teams.
I had invited the food stylist, P'Nid.
He is my junior. He has his own design.
He has nice layout of food. I want him to be a part of my work.
How do you feel after seeing the food?
At first is beautiful.
Then when you said flowers are eatable. Then Haa.. Is it eatable?
I about faint. I want to eat.
Today the actors are so happy.
We have tasted the delicious and beautiful foods
I wanted to eat everyone's dishes.
The foods which never seen before and don't think it's eatable.
Especially the flowers decoration. I've never eaten flowers before.
But Chef said it's all eatable.
He made it so beautiful. I had every menu and it's so delicious.
If in real life. I think.. Oh.. it's so..
To make one dish must be at highly effort and imaginations.
I do respect them.
Actually, the scenes with foods. To be very less.
If no behind the scenes, everybody might think..oh..really. But my idea is to show the picture how is the foods of Bhutin.
It's worth to the audience and feeling of the teams.
Sometime it doesn't matter to show off what we made is worth to the audience.
Only to worth my feeling. Anyone can see? I still do it.
I thought it couldn't be less than 4.
I decided to make 4 songs.
The song team has done efficiently as what we want.
The first song is "Nee Laeh Kuam Rak (This is love) By Noey Suburbian. She wrote it.
Ann Thitima is the singer.
This song is joyful theme. Telling of Princess Kaning own character.
In her first version before entry to the palace.
The second song is P'Nick, the writer.
"Mee Kham Uen Mai (Are there another words?)"
This song has 2 versions of man and woman.
Ann Thitima and Tao - our hero to sing.
The third song is the good summary of both feelings.
P'Mick is the writer and there are 2 version.
"Sen Kanan ( Paralel )" Song. Singer is P'Wan.
I think is the mixture of new production at the first time.
I think it is workable.
Because both Patty and Tao made me feel that they are those roles.
And the half part later, they're so cute.
I could feel that they're really in love.
It's so weird because both were cold to each other.
But after that, that's right! This is what I want.
Including the songs with all meaningful lyrics that make me want to pinch something.
My legs are swollen.
What ship you guys will ride off after you watched it. Don't miss it.
