hey everyone it's Ian K back again with another one for ya this time headed
into BK to take a look at the latest version of their popular King burgers
it's looking to bring some sourdough goodness to the party that's right it's
the all-new sourdough king and it sure looks as meaty as ever so let's see if
this one deliveries after we scoop it up to that drive-thru yes hi peep this
out can I go for the new sourdough king just to sandwich by itself and that's it

it's the latest version of the popular King burgers here at BK the all-new
sourdough king and I am already digging the presentation of this one strictly
because it's not the same sesame seed bun that we see every single month with
one of these so it's already winning in the presentation department definitely
digging a toastiness of that sourdough bread and it's actually pretty soft as
well too let's lift this up and see we've got underneath looks like some
sliced onion that's sweet tomato sauce which actually looks kind of like
Thousand Island dressing we've got some hickory smoked bacon a half pound of
beef guys 2 quarter pound patties and we've got some cheese and of course we
have got to do that pull in the middle here let's lift it up and see all the
gooey goodness here decent guys very decent as always and very cheesy as
always on the very bottom of this one we've got more of that sweet tomato
sauce which again looks very similar to Thousand Island dressing here so a very
simple build this one but man the smell definitely smells pretty fantastic
and as always I'm excited to bite into another version of the popular king
burgers here at BK this is the all-new sourdough king let's peep out this
flavor now while this one is part of the bacon
king family it definitely feels different because of that sourdough
bread let's dive in it's the all-new sourdough king here at BK mmmm well
instantly right after that first bite that sweet tomato-like sauce is trying
to overtake the flavor of the flame grilled patties themselves it's not quite
up there in terms of the flavor itself compared to the beef but it is sweet and
you can definitely taste it let's keep going alright now that bite was
actually sweeter than the first one guys I got a lot more of that sauce that time
and I got to say it is still very very sweet but thankfully the hickory smoke
of the bacon is adding to the beefy flavor of the patties themselves but
guys just be warned it's a little up there in the sweet factor as always
these king burgers are a beefy situation as you can see they don't skimp on the
amount of beef in here and when you've got a half pound of it before cooking
guys you can see it takes up a good chunk of the sandwich and I'm down with
that and although I can't really taste the sourdough too well it's really more
for the presentation of it here I do like the way it feels while I'm biting
into it and I got to say overall it's just as tasty of a king burger as most
of the other ones have been that bacon is pretty crispy and the onions are
actually adding some additional crunch so that's actually a nice touch
mmmm pretty good and as always the gooey American cheese that melts in the center
of this one is always a highlight guys it really is one of the signatures for
Burger King on top of the flavor of the beef here but I gotta say it's that
sweet sauce that really is the wild card with this one you may like it you may
not but I got to say overall thanks to the hickory smoke of the bacon that
additional saltiness is helping to balance out everything in this one so I
think I see why they did that there I think this one without the bacon would
have been a little too sweet but I'm really diggin the quality of this one
guys it is pretty tasty so while I can't really taste the sourdough of the bread
itself here guys everything on the middle that it's holding here as you can
see the patties starting to fall out the back there is the signature of BK the
cheese is pretty tasty on it the hickory smoke of the bacon and then obviously
the beef itself is awesome but like I said it's that sauce that you may or may
not like it depends upon your preference for sweet but I am definitely diggin the
quality of what this one has to offer it's still a very hearty burger but of
course that's just my opinion what do you guys think do you think this all-new
sourdough king is worthy of the king name because I can tell you from a beef
standpoint it absolutely is I mean guys it's the double whopper patties and all
the gooey cheese that BK is known for with some pretty decent toppings to go
with but drop some comments down below and let me know what you think of this
one and as for the overall score I'm gonna have to give the all-new sourdough
king here at BK a pretty solid 8 out of 10 guys this is still a King burger
through and through and how could it not be since it's part of the bacon King
family you already know what you're getting yourself into with the whopper
patties the cheese and the bacon alone so it's all gonna come down to your
preference on a sweet type of sauce on top of the goodness that these king
burgers are known for here at BK but still very highly recommended and those
are my thoughts on the latest king coming at you from Burger King as we
