AS Roma facing selection issues with 2 games before Champions League trip to Liverpool

Before they head to Liverpool for Tuesdays Champions League semi-final clash, Roma must navigate two tough clashes with Genoa and SPAL.

The Reds have benefited from a relaxed schedule ahead of the first leg at Anfield next week, having won 3-0 at home to Bournemouth last weekend and facing a trip to West Brom on Saturday.

With a place in the final of Europes top tier to fight for, the onus is on both Liverpool and Roma to secure a positive result in six days time.

But while Jurgen Klopp prepares his side to take on the Premier Leagues bottom-placed side, safe in the knowledge they are 10 points clear of Chelsea, Roma manager Eusebio Di Francesco has two pivotal games to contend with.

First, Roma take on Genoa at Stadio Olimpico on Wednesday night, and after Sundays 0-0 draw with city rivals Lazio victory over the mid-table outfit is imperative.

Then I Giallorossi travel to Ferrara on Saturday for a meeting with SPAL who, mired in a relegation battle with the likes of Crotone and Verona, will be fighting for the three points.

With three games in just seven days, and a top-four finish not yet secured in Serie A, Di Francesco has a delicate balancing act to play.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference on Tuesday, the 48-year-old stressed that we need to keep our focus on Genoa, but also conceded he would make some changes to introduce fresh legs.

Di Francesco suggested Maxime Gonalons, Cengiz Under, Stephan El Shaarawy and Edin Dzeko would all start, but ruled out Diego Perotti and confirmed doubts over Kostas Manolas and Alessandro Florenzi.

The absence of Manolas would likely see Juan Jesus brought in, and if the Greek faces a longer layoff this could be a major boost to Liverpool.

Provisional Roma Squad vs. Genoa.

Goalkeepers: Alisson, Lobont, Skorupski.

Defenders: Pellegrini, Jesus, Kolarov, Capradossi, Fazio, Florenzi, Peres, Silva, Manolas.

Midfielders: Nainggolan, Strootman, Pellegrini, De Rossi, Gonalons, Gerson.

Forwards: Dzeko, Schick, Under, Antonucci, El Shaarawy.

Meanwhile, Klopp was lifted by the return of Joe Gomez to full training on Tuesday afternoon, providing the manager with another option at both right-back and centre-back.

He may be required, as both Dejan Lovren and Nathaniel Clyne werent pictured at Melwood, with the former limping out of the win over Bournemouth and the latter not involved due to injury.

Youngsters Kamil Grabara, Conor Masterson, Curtis Jones and Rafa Camacho all took part again.

Klopp is likely to make changes to his side at the Hawthorns, much as he did away to Everton ahead of the decisive quarter-final second leg at Man City.

The likes of Alberto Moreno, Ragnar Klavan, Danny Ings and Dominic Solanke could be considered, as Klopp bids for a sixth European Cup in the clubs history.

Kuyt Hails Complete Player Firmino.

If any ex-Red is qualified to comment on the work rate of one of Klopps current players it would be Dirk Kuyt.

The tireless former Liverpool forward has praised the industry of his successor, Roberto Firmino, as well as praising the Brazilians selfless attitude as his key attribute.

He just wants to win with the team and he's not the type of player who wants to score for himself.

That, for me, is the biggest thing of Firmino, he told LiverpoolFC.com.

He's scoring great goals but he's also giving great assists and then you are, in my eyes, a complete player who is a great thing for Liverpool.

I think he's also a very hard worker, he's selfless and working hard.

I watch almost all the games and the games I see then he's always giving his everything.

Sometimes he's not scoring goals or giving assists, but for one thing he is always giving his everything.

Hull Want to Keep Star Loanee Wilson.

Few Liverpool loanees have made as big an impression on their temporary clubs this season as Harry Wilson has at Hull City.

The Wales international has scored five and assisted four in 11 games for the Championship side, swiftly establishing himself as one of Nigel Adkins most important players.

And while Wilson has set his sights on a role at Liverpool next season, his current manager is hopeful of luring him to the KC Stadium for another campaign.

[When our loanees leave] they'll decide if they're going to stay in the first-team group or, as they should do, go and get vital match experience in the Championship, Adkins told the Hull Daily Mail.

I'd love that to be at Hull City because I'd like to think the clubs can see that the work we do with them gives them the opportunity to develop.

I'd like to think we've got a good track record for helping players develop.

Specifically on Wilsons prospects for next season he said: I think he'll be playing for Hull City in the Championship but that's me being positive.

Roma Insist No Intention of Selling Alisson.

Speculation over Liverpools interest on AS Roma goalkeeper Alisson has quietened down of late, as Loris Karius continues to impress in his new role as No.

Karius and Alisson will go head-to-head when the Reds meet Roma in the semi-finals of the Champions League next week, but they are unlikely to be team-mates next season.

Speaking to Sky Sports in Italy, Roma president James Pallotta once again stressed that the Serie A side had no intention of selling the Brazilian.

I mean zero at all.

Im sure some people will probably come in with some bids, but I dont have any interest in selling him, hes a great goalkeeper, he continued.

When we got him I thought the same thing, and as far as Im concerned I mean no.

Given Karius performances since taking over from Simon Mignolet, it is questionable whether Liverpool even need to sign Alisson.

Liverpool Tipped to Sign Jorginho & Lemar.

The season isnt even over, but with Man City wrapping up the Premier League title already talk has already begun over the likelihood of Pep Guardiola replicating the feat next term.

City will undoubtedly strengthen in the summer transfer window as they look to cement their legacy at the pinnacle of English football.

But with the Mirror assessing the prospects of their rivals catching them, writer David Maddock stressed that there are compelling reasons to suggest Liverpool could step up.

In this, Maddock claimed that he wouldnt be surprised if the Reds sign both Thomas Lemar and Jorginho ahead of 2018/19, tipping them to become genuine title contenders if they do.

It would be remiss the consider this a concrete report on Klopps plans, but the midfield pair could well still be on the clubs radar.

No doubt identifying their targets ahead of the summer window, Liverpool have been linked with two new options including Wolves Ruben Neves.

The Reds have been touted with a host of players around the continent as the season draws to a close, with Jurgen Klopps plans being finalised as objectives become clearer.

Having effectively sealed a top-four finish in the Premier League, Klopps side are fighting for glory in the Champions League.

Lifting a sixth European Cup would likely open up new possibilities in the transfer market, but with the World Cup approaching in June and the window closing early this year they need to move swiftly.

Norwich City midfielder James Maddison, Stevenage centre-back Ben Wilmot and Red Bull Salzburg vice-captain Valon Berisha were all listed as possible targets last week.

Now two fresh faces have emerged from the rumour mill, with regional journalists given further credibility to reports.

Firstly, Wolves midfielder Neves, who has scored six goals in 39 games on their way to promotion from the Championship, is claimed to be coming to Liverpool by UOLs Marcus Alves.

Alves, who is based in Lisbon, suggests the Premier League newcomers have lined up Benficas Anderson Talisca, regularly linked with both Wolves and Liverpool, as Neves replacement.

Neves is regarded by Wolves supporters as one of the greatest to ever play for the club, such has been his impact on their fortunes since he joined in 2017.

It has long been known he is operating above his station at Molineux, and the former Porto captain could find a more suitable club in Liverpool.

Elsewhere, Turkish publication Aksam claim the Reds are interested in signing Trabzonspor attacking midfielder Abdulkadir Omur.

They suggest he is an alternative to Real Madrids Marcos Asensio, who has been dubiously linked with Liverpool throughout the campaign, with the Spanish side not willing to sell.

Omur is valued at €18 million, with Tottenham also named as an interested party, and Klopp is said to have put him top of his list as he looks to bolster his forward line.

Able to play on either the left- and right-hand side of midfield in deeper or more advanced roles, the 18-year-old is described by Turkish Footballs Emre Sarigul as having the rare combination of talent, work ethic and having the right mentality.

He has made 28 appearances for Trabzonspor this season, scoring three goals and assisting a further five, including a brilliant left-footed finish for his first Super Lig goal in October.

Omurs pace, directness, eye for goal and youth could make him a fine deputy for both Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah next season.

Jurgen Klopp's plan for Dominic Solanke after Liverpool U23s outing explained

After his goalscoring display for the Liverpool U23s against Everton on Monday night, Dominic Solanke is in Jurgen Klopps thoughts for a busy run.

Solanke has endured a frustrating first season at Anfield, having arrived with such a burgeoning reputation last summer.

He had starred for Englands U20s in their triumphant World Cup campaign, winning the Golden Ball award that is handed to the standout player in the competition.

The 20-year-old is, however, still searching for his first Liverpool goal, despite making 24 appearances for the Reds in 2017/18.

Admittedly, only five starts have come his way, but he has often looked off the pace and there have been calls for the Reds to bring in a superior deputy to Roberto Firmino.

Klopp allowed Solanke to play for the U23s in Mondays mini-derby, and his penalty opened the scoring as Neil Critchleys team ran out 3-1 winners in Southport.

Critchley was very impressed by the impact Solanke had, and says the aim is for him to enjoy plenty of first-team football between now and the end of the season.

I was really pleased with Dominic, Critchley told the Liverpool Echo.

The reason for giving him 90 minutes is that he could be involved in some really big games for the first team between now and the end of the season.

He needs to have rhythm and he needs to be match fit.

I thought he led the line really well—he held the ball up and he flicked it on well.

He showed his calmness to take the penalty and was a bit unlucky with the one that was cleared off the line.

Hopefully he will benefit from this game.

It is so easy to be quick to criticise young players, and it should not be a surprise that Solanke has taken time to settle at Liverpool.

Having to adjust to a new club, in a different part of the country, is never an easy thing to do, and patience is required with him.

Solanke has everything in his locker to mature into a top-class striker in the years to come—there is a reason why Klopp was so keen to sign him this time last year.

Who knows, he may still have a major say in Liverpools quest for a sixth European Cup!.

TETRIS on a Psion II Organiser | Nostalgia Nerd - Duration: 2:58.

Very quick mid-week video, because I have acquired a Psion II, also known as the Psion

Organiser II and a predecessor to the better known Psion Series 3 range of devices.

Launched in 1986, this second iteration had a number of improvements over the first, but

were still pretty primitive compared to their 1993 successors.

You can see it has a slot for expansions, including a commslink, barcode reader and

even speech synthesiser.

Companies and supermarkets ahead of the game would have used these for stock taking and

the like... whereas personal owners used them for storing Auntie Morene's phone number and

their mum's date of birth.

That's the sort of people who owned these, they couldn't even remember their mum's birthday.

This particular model is the CM variation.

It only has two display lines, but includes an alarm clock, database and even a programming

language...

But what I want to show you today is, first...

this crazy Pac Man like game where you have to jump from one line to the other and avoid

the ever rapid Pac Man like creature.

But mainly, Tetris, on this tiny little display.

We haven't got the theme tune sadly, but we do have the option to hold the device sideways

or tilt it on it's side for a more conventional Tetris experience.

You can even slip the cover off, if you're feeling really excitable.

Now of course, the playfield is limited here, as are my abilities, but it's a perfectly

usable version of Tetris.

In fact there were a multitude of games for these things, hopefully I'll be able to track

some down and get them loaded into memory.

If I can tear myself away from the ferocious playing, I may even make a much longer and

detailed Psion video.

my major is mass communications with a business administration minor and I am

graduating in May two thousand eighteen what did you say about your mom oh mama

the adventure is almost over man these four years were good thank you for all

you've done I love you and I cannot wait to see you

after I walk across that stage I'm not walking I'm dancing across the stage and

I'm gonna dedicate to you I'm gonna say I love you mama because I love you mama so from the first moment that I

walked onto campus I knew that this was a special place well my ultimate goal

with College has always been to become a teacher and potentially a special

education teacher because those are in such high demand and I have a really special

heart for the children that have those special needs my parents didn't go to

college we are from El Salvador and they didn't

have the opportunity to go to college so when we moved to the United States it

became a really important part of my life to pursue my studies so that I

could have a better future so I had three options in my household it was either

college military or getting a trade I saw college as the best

opportunity to expand my horizon as a person being from a single-parent home

some things you know were kind of difficult definitely had to ask a lot of

different family members to help chip in and do things but having scholarships

from donors and the university definitely helped me out we don't have

you know too much money so we were sort of struggling to find what would be the

most affordable and also you know the best program and everything like that

so when the scholarship was offered it was like this is definitely the best option having a scholarship

through shenandoah as an undergrad in addition to going on to grad school that

helped me become a physician assistant and where I am today

scholarships was the only way I was gonna be able to go to school and Here I

am at this fantastic private school with all the scholarship money that I am just

eternally grateful for because without it I wouldn't be able to live my dream

is becoming a teacher scholarships were very important for me

to be able to come to Shenandoah because my mom is a single mother and she had

limited resources for me it was great that Shenandoah was able to support me

in those ways when other universities were not able to do that or even bother

to look at options and resources I'm very thankful

to receive all the scholarships that I have I wouldn't be here without them I have so

many scholarships thanks to donors and benefactors and sponsors and the Board

of Trustees and all people that donate money to help scholarships I have at

least seven or eight scholarships that helped me to be here training with Coach

Marrocco going to my classes being a part of the Winchester community and becoming

a diverse individual with myself this place is amazing I thank you I'm

thanking you for the kids that will come here in the future I'll tell you right

now I love this place and I hope one day that I'll be able to donate just like

you I would like to say thank you to the people who give the money for these

scholarships at Shenandoah because it has really it helped me grow and I know

that other students have also benefited from these scholarships have grown

academically personally professionally and they've been able to

access resources that maybe their parents didn't have this money has

helped me through undergrad to grad school I was able

is $44,000 veterinary school costs a lot and so to have that support with the

scholarships during my undergraduate has been immensely helpful to my future to my future career

and basically the rest of my life thank you from the absolute bottom of my toes all the

way through my head and the bottom of my heart just isn't enough thank you thank

you thank you for the money that you donate to people like myself that helped

me to live my dream of becoming a teacher thank you very very much on

behalf of myself and my mom and all the kids who receive these scholarships you

guys help more than you know and some of us wouldn't be here if it wasn't for

Hi everybody, my name is Sodany and welcome to my channel!

So, with this video, I wanted to do a quiz from Soompi.

This is one of the videos out of many future videos of me taking quizzes

where you can see my results as well as

see my answers to the questions to kind of get an understanding of myself as well

So let's get started doo doo do doo~ okay

So there was one quizz that's the latest one.

So this one is, um,

"Which Kpop Idol Should You Spend Spring Break With?"

So-- ohhh! I wonder what the the result would be.

In the photo, I see BTS so I'm sure they're one of the choices.

And they're so hot right now

Okay.

So I'm going to read the description.

How are you spending your spring vacation?

Well, no matter what you end up doing; you would have so much more fun with your favorite idol by your side.

I added the word "please" because I'm- you know- I'm really 'mannerful' like that. Okay~

There's a bunch of ads. Okay, let's start.

1. "Let's start simple: Who is your favorite boy group?"

And they have a picture of BTS here, okay.

Let's check out the options.

So looking at the options,

there are a few groups that I could eliminate right away.

That would be Super Junior, Winner, iKon, Seventeen.

Yeah, so I'm gonna choose from either EXO, BTS, Monsta X, or GOT7.

Hmm

Okay, so this is going to be hard

because when I was in Korea, I followed the promotions for GOT7 a lot.

I really like them.

I mostly listen to their title songs,

And they're already familiar- Most of the members are familiar with who I am.

So if I were to spend Spring Break with them,

---I know this is asking what my favorite group boy group is---

But I'm sure it's going to influence a lot of the results

So I'm just gonna explain with-- regarding-- Spring Break.

If I spend my time with GOT7, I think I will have a good time because

we're already familiar with each other,

And a lot of the members know English, so it won't be that hard for me to communicate with them.

Uhm, let's see, Monsta X. I.M can speak English,

but I don't really know much about the other members.

but, when I watched their variety shows, they're pretty funny.

and I think that they're easy to hang out with

and I wouldn't mind hanging out with any of them.

BTS. Love their music.

I don't know if I can keep up with them.

I haven't really watched any of their shows or, you know,

like other videos other than their music to know what they're like.

I'm sure they're-- I know they're funny, they're good at dancing.

My sister really likes them.

So, if I could bring my sister along, I think I would choose BTS.

EXO.

Okay, so if anybody knows me and my stories with EXO,

It's just like, they would know the frustration I would go through... to not even be able to see them at all.

So, Spring Break is like what? 1, 1 and 1/2 or 2 weeks?

if I could spend two weeks at maximum, so far, for Spring Break with EXO,

that would make up [for] all of my struggles in one foul swoop.

Like it would make up for all of it.

This is just the first question and I'm already like having a hard time.

Because I love a lot of them.

So I'm not gonna choose between that,

but I'm gonna choose regarding Spring Break and a time using Spring Break so--

So I'm trying to give the opportunity to people that I have not spent time with.

Okay, onto the good stuff.

Okay. "Chilling by the beach", "going on a backpacking trip"-- whoo-hoo I like that!

"African safari." Mm-hmm if it wasn't too hot.

"Ski in the mountains"-- I cannot ski.

Oh, "exploring the Smithsonian museums at Washington DC."

"Caribbean cruise."

I never really been on a big-- I have been on a yacht.

No, it was a cruise, but it was like-- it was in Tokyo Bay.

I was in Tokyo and I went on a cruise. It was a short time.

I guess it was okay.

"Shopping at the fashion capitals of the world!"

I could do that if I had money to burn and a closet to fit them all.

My mom wouldn't allow me to bring those home.

"An Icelandic hot spring." but if I'm gonna stay in the hot spring ONLY,

I guess that's not a lot.

"Backpacking trip across Europe." I'll do that.

If it means like cities and stuff. Like not actual mountains.

But I already chose.

4. "Pick a place to stay"

Ouuuuu, I love these choices!

They're all different and interesting hmm

Uhm, I'm gonna... I feel like the capsule hotel thing right there: This could be like in Japan.

So if it's in Japan I would choose it but, um,

I also think about the facilities, like what else is available in the hotel other than their room

and some of the-- this one right here is just like... outside the building!

How am I supposed to know?

So that one has snow and I don't wanna go to a place that's so cold.

I like the view over there-- Okay, um, I am gonna choose...

I'll choose thi-- mm-hmm

I'll choose this one.

Right there, yep.

5. "Do you prefer stay-cations or going on wild adventures?"

Hmmmmmm!

*Wait a minute, this is actually hard.*

How wild... of an adventure are you asking?

Like fighting lions and stuff? Or like...

Hmm adventures. That sounds fun like running around and going crazy

But without, you know, causing a crime or getting caught by the police

or breaking laws or rules or, you know.

Staycations. *Never heard of it* Staying inside a place?

Like if I'm in Europe, I stay inside the house?

Resting. I can... I do like a rest thing and

I feel like I do need a lot of rest, but I do like to go on a wild adventures

So: Wild adventures, okay.

6. "When interacting within your friend group, what role do you typically take?"

Okay, let's see if any of them fits me muahaha

"Flirty friend"? Nooo.

People might think I'm flirting but I'm just being nice.

"Pure friend" yeah? That could that could be one of them.

Sometimes I'm really ignorant about what's going on

And I'm just like "Oh haha, huh?"

"Chill friend." yeah, sometimes.

"The mom friend" Uhm... no.

" A danger to society".... I'm a danger to myself~?

"Comic relief"

Depending on who.

Some people do think that I'm funny.

Mostly new people, like, I like to be funny so I make them feel comfortable.

I'm not "the leader". Let's see. I would say the..

7. "What is your favorite subject in school?"

Oh it's Jinyoung!

I did like History.

"Gym" I was bad at gym.

"Lunch"... Girl's gotta eat.

"Art"... depends.

Some of the teachers---

I didn't like... I couldn't produce arts if I was being pushed to produce art. You know?

It's kind of like an artist's struggle like: "Don't tell me what to make!"

"Foreign language" um Spanish, I liked learning Spanish [back in high school]

but the classmates themselves weren't really good.

I did like History, so--- but I didn't like remembering dates and stuff

but I did like what's going on. Blahblahblah.

What am I going to choose? Okay.

"English" Actually, English is reading analyzing books, right? And stories and stuff.

I choose English.

Oops, I dirtied the screen.

Uhm, 8. "In your opinion, what kind of person makes the best vacation companion?"

Oh this is really really really important.

When you're on vacation, it's really important who you go on vacation with.

Okay. "Someone adventurous"

"Someone calm" "Someone cooperative" "Someone carefree"

"Someone responsible" "Someone funny" "Someone creative" "Someone proactive"

"Adventurous" can mean many things.

It could mean that they're willing to skydive

Or, you know, like have adrenaline rushes and stuff

And I don't like that because I would have a heart attack.

"Someone calm" that's good.

If someone's too anxious, it's--- *smh*

"Cooperative"

uh-huh I think cooperative because if I want to go somewhere and they want to go somewhere,

and the person is stubborn, it's not gonna be---

Like they'll be happy but then you won't be happy.

If I find someone cooperative, then maybe we can compromise

and maybe spend enough time at both places.

"Someone responsible" to stop us from, you know, spending so much money.

"Proactive" "Creative" if it--

Creative is good because they can build a good itinerary of what we can do on our vacation.

So, I'm gonna choose "Creative" I like being creative myself.

Especially in the music video, they were on a kind of vacation too.

I should show my friend this. I should show him the results.

because he says that I resemble Lisa to him sometimes, like 'look-wise'.

I don't see the resemblance, but I think he'll like this.

And if she is gonna be all crazy- Animated- Herself. Then, at least I'll feel comfortable to do so myself.

something that has been plaguing auto pilot cars since the beginning of the

auto pilot hardware and that is driver assistance features unavailable what

causes this well 99% of the time what causes drivers assistance features

unavailable is parking facing direct sunlight yes especially on a nice bright

day and now I found this happens more or less in the winter i I've kind of

narrowed it down to winter time color temperature the exact color temperature

of the sunlight in the winter time seems to affect it more than in the summer now

what will happen is when you're parked facing the Sun for some reason the car

will decide ok something's going on with the auto pilot camera driver assistance

features unavailable this causes cruise control not to work

auto pilot not to work accident avoidance not to work pretty much any

assistance features whatsoever basically you are in control you have to do all

steering you know I know firstworldproblems steering acceleration

I mean you don't even have basic non adaptive cruise control at that point

well I just just because I've gotten asked a bunch of times you know what's

the fix for this there really is no fix you just gotta try and park either not

facing the Sun off to an angle and if it does happen and your autopilot features

become disabled you pretty much the only way to reset it and get that back is to

park the car get out leave it for her you know

anywhere from ten minutes to a few hours and then come back and otherwise I

thought of this and I've been using this for a while and this is a so this one's

got a Mickey and because it was cheap it was only a buck this is a sticky pad

that you can put like on your dashboard and put a phone on it so it doesn't

slide around I use this for sticking in cameras an action cam on my dash or

other stuff like that so I thought give it a try and I started doing that on on

bad weather days now yeah be careful of these sticky pads in really hot weather

can melt but that's it that's all I did I just want to get out and if I have no

choice but to part facing a really bright Sun like it is today

yeah and that's it and then when I come out I just reach

over grab it and off I go doesn't leave any residue behind at least it hasn't

yet to this point and I suppose if you put it in your car then you could shove

your phone on it but there you go that's been my little hack and I mean autopilot

hardware's been out in this this effects auto pilot one and autopilot two as of

today which is March 28th 2018 so for over four years

yeah for over four years this is an ongoing problem that Tesla has yet to

address and I'm sure engineering is getting tired of me doing a bug report

because I finally have given up because that's a disabling safety features and I

can't see any reason why that would happen

really sucks when you got a really long drive and you don't have the option to

park it and come back an hour later but yeah I mean if they could at least give

us you know regular cruise control I mean that would be fine I can live

without autopilot I can't live without cruise control it's just too tempting to

let the weight of my steel toe shoes press that accelerator a little more and

all of a sudden I'm doing 155 miles an hour

oops usually available at a dollar store otherwise I put a link in the

free shipping for you know a dollar or two so there you go I'm gonna I'm gonna

try suction cup one two but I just think that would be a little too too difficult

and I assume about these is if it gets dirty because they are a little tacky

that's how they stick all you have to do is run it under the in the sink for for

a few seconds with some soap and then let it air dry mm-hmm everything just

slides right off when these are wet they don't stick at all when they're dry they

get they get tacky so hope that helps driver assistance features unavailable

in four years four plus years and still affects us
