Okay so this is the Workhorse 3d printer right here and the neat thing

about this machine is it use this lead screw on all three axes okay so you have

your typical acme screw on the z-axis uses so basically it's got to

acme screws which has two motor ports but then it's got two x axis

motors which have to be in sync in a y axis motor

that's also lead driven. So it'slead screw all the way around. The X and the y

lead screw is a igus high helix lead screw as a 50 millimeter lead so it it

travels pretty fast per a revolution okay so you have a lot of distance right

here so we well this journey to make this machine and we tried out

different electronic boards with different firmware you know Marlin firmware or Repetier firmware

which are differents smoothieboards and 32 bit boards with smoothieware on it.

So we're on it so we're you know they all had their pros and cons. Now we

finally finished our journey when we came to the Duet Wi-Fi, everything seems to

work now the way this works is if you look at the firmware right here so

this is the duet Wi-Fi interface. So if I go down to settings and go down to the

Congig.g what you'll see is this in m584 okay so when we map the drivers we're

using the X as 0 and 3. Okay? So we're actually using the U axis we're

making the u axis 3. It's mirroring the X axis so we have this m584 and

maps this out and focus on the X being the 0 and at 3. Okay? Now our end stops also

reflect this

now we have we had some trouble at first one of the issues we had was the x-axis

homing correctly. OK? Everything moved properly seeing the steps per millimeter

everything was fine didn't really have any trouble with the the lead screws

being sync except when he homed out when we hold it out we ran into a little

issue where it would be kind of offset like like it was homing out one was

faster than the other. Okay? It was kind of weird so I ran into Tony at MRRF 2018

and pretty much what he had me do was on the config G file right here now

originally the the M584 was a little bit further down okay in the

config g-- file so right now the m584 is currently up here here okay. Now if you

were to look at the old firmware what you would see is the m584 is actually

down further before identifies fie actually in stops configuration okay and

let's also take a look at old home.g file okay so the way this works is basically

you know it lifts up in the Z you know to prevent any kind of crashes or

anything like that for clearance if it moves X axis to the end stop. So

basically we're doing a linear feed with the X moving back - 605mm

and the U-axis which is the second lead screw moving back U-605mm at 1500 feed rate

okay so what we'll do is it'll move both fees to X minus 605mm right so what would

happens to go back it would move to 605 go back a few millimeters. So we have a g01 x5 u5 video is slowly moved to x-axis

once again for a second pass okay so when you get m584

identifies as the X and the three. So basically it joins the u axis and the X again.

Additional specimens of SCP-059 are not needed for experimentation, and should be transported

to Site-11B for incineration by plasma arc at 10,000 Kelvin.

Description: SCP-059 is a radioactive mineral of unknown origin, superficially resembling

scheelite.

A component of SCP-059 is believed to originate in an alternate universe, and to be responsible

for its anomalous properties.

In addition to alpha, beta, and gamma radiation, SCP-059 specimens produce a previously unknown

type of radiation, apparently unique to the object, tentatively designated 'delta radiation'.

Delta radiation is accompanied by Cherenkov radiation, visible as a blue glow.

Delta radiation is only partially contained by standard radiation shielding; the best

results have been obtained using graded-Z laminate shielding with an additional super-dense

metal layer.

This reduces the effective range of delta radiation from approximately 20 m to approximately

6 m.

When an area is exposed to delta radiation for more than 15 minutes, an unknown species

of fungus (designated SCP-059-1) begins to grow on any exposed surface.

This fungus does not require any standard nutrition, but will die within 24 hours of

removal from a delta radiation source.

SCP-059-1 is itself radioactive, but does not emit delta radiation.

However, if a critical mass (approximately ██ kg/m3) of SCP-059-1 is allowed to grow,

delta radiation from an unknown source other than SCP-059 will appear in the area, further

supporting SCP-059-1 growth.

(Interested readers may consult Dr. ███████ for his theories of space-time stress and merger

of alternate realities).

Within 18 hours, the infected mass will become transparent and disappear, presumably into

the universe that is the source of delta radiation.
