Youtube daily report Apr 22 2018

Hi this is Darren's Toys and today

we're gonna go get some railroad ties

from the same trail we went before

So Darren, and I are going for quite a long hike today.

We're gonna hike

down river to the power plant.

It's a several mile journey

I had done last year, and he's going with me this time.

So come along with us, and it's gonna be a great time!

This is kinda just like the Wisp a little bit.

-Hey Darren, what's at the end of this trail?

The power plant

-and what's the power plant from what lake?

Deep Creek Lake

That's right Deep Creek Lake.

So the very first stop on this trail is upper Swallow Falls.

Check this out.

[Music and River Sounds throughout]

I have in my backpack.. I have a Rice Crispy Treat.

Hey Darren. What which falls are these?

These are lower lower Swallow Falls.

Yeah these are lower. Lower Swallow Falls.

Darren, what do you think of this?

It's so awesome!

This is a rock.

We're gonna see some railroad ties and we're even gonna see the Power Plant.

So Darren actually put me up to this. He watched another video that we had done, and he's been

asking me, "Can we go all the way down to the power plant?"

Can we see those railroad ties that you saw on your on your hike? So he's been wanting to go along.

And we finally got a break in the weather

So it's gonna be a lot of fun to see

how he does.

The foliage just gets crazy the further you go the more dense that the rhododendron gets

and the trail virtually disappears on you. So this used to be a train track

Essentially, the trails there, but like I said sometimes it disappears on you for a little bit you have to fight through that.

So I guess we'll see. Hopefully we make it.

We've reached another really cool spot on our hike.

This is where

Muddy Creek enters into the Youghiogheny River and

you can see Muddy Creek Falls from here, although

you're on the other side of the river, so you can't walk up to it, but you can see it in the distance

It's really awesome

[splash]

[splash]

So this is another cool thing that we always see along this trail.

We don't know what it is, but what do you think it is Darren?

A house.

He thinks it's a house. It may have been something for

fuelling the steam engines. Let's go check it out!

-A train station...

So far so good. Darren is quite the trooper I must say.

This trail is really brutal and

it's probably not a trail you would normally take your kid on.

If it gets too crazy, we're going to turn back.

Right here's another structure that's not as visible when you're walking on the trail

Stacked rocks..

When we were kids we used to bring our pedal bikes down this trail. We'd ride our bikes here,

and we didn't really have any other option so.

Up until this part of the trail, it's not too bad,

but this is where it's gonna start to get a little bit worse.

I'm sure you may be familiar with Deep Creek Lake.

This is Deep Creek the actual creek.

Is this the end of the trail?

No, this is where a lot of people turn around though

It gets.. the going gets tough from here.

You sure you're up for this?

I'm wanna do it.

We're still going

I just got a cobweb in my mouth.

-Ewwww

This is so much fun. I can't believe we're doing this.

Darren keeps asking me if we're there yet?

Are we close to the power plant?

and I'm like no we're not there yet

Hey Darren, I think that's the campsite down there

Where?

That's where fires are.

Yeah, there's a fire pit here.

Doesn't look like anyone's had a fire.

Darren look a little beach.

Still got a long ways to go.

Hey Darren check out what I found.

-How did that get there?

Maybe this used to be a railroad crossing!

Maybe.

I think that this probably got washed down the river

when the river was really high

What do you think?

Definitely an old tire.

Look It's even got a tube in it.. weird.

It's some kind of a fossil isn't it?

Nature is so fun!

Darren you're a trooper.

I found a railroad tie sort of

What do you think of this railroad tie?

It's so cool.

Just went through one of the most difficult parts

I had to carry Darren at one point

Yeah, this isn't for the faint of heart.

whew!

Someone tied these orange markers here,

and we believe that these are

sort of telling us which way to go because

it has gotten really thick right here

It's just more more and more rhododendron.

We ended up having to abandon those ribbons

I had to carry Darren for a little bit.

Stick to the trail and don't follow the ribbons!

Gotta say that really wore us out

I'm hoping that there's another way out of here cuz it's gonna be a long walk back.

I see some kayakers down here

We have made it to the railroad ties

Hey Darren, do you see the railroad pins?

Look there's one right here.

The track would have went right through here.

or maybe here.

Isn't that cool?

Yeah!

We just found something else that's really cool.

Wow how deep is it?

He's got a stick and he's gonna stick down in there.

How far does it go?

Definitely got a solid bottom.

Some kind of steam engine operation.

Maybe some water for the steam engines.

What is it?

- a pocketknife!

Finders Keepers

That's a nice one!

Somebody lost that. I doubt they're gonna be back for it.

Hey Darren. Do you hear the powerplant?

[60 Hz humming]

[foot steps in leaves]

That is so cool!

[loud humming]

Darren and I decided to head

up the hill

and

we're making it. We're making good progress, but

believe me when I tell you this is brutal.

We found the

We found the pipes to

...that...

[out of breath]

carry the water for the hydroelectric power.

Have a look at this.

[humming in distance]

There still some snow down there!

-Really?

Yeah, look!

Oh my gosh you're right, Darren!

-Alright, you know where to pick us up at?

Phone call: I think so yeah.

We're where the cliffs are.

We just went up the cliff.

I'll be there in a minute. Okay. See ya bye

Yeah someone needs to maintain that trail.

It would make it so much better.

That's it for this episode.. peace!

BREAKING: California On HIGH ALERT- Authorities Release Statement- Here's What We Know - Duration: 3:08.

BREAKING: California On HIGH ALERT- Authorities Release Statement- Here's What We Know

Scientists are now saying that the "Big One" in California may not be caused by

the San Andreas fault line, but by the Hayward Bay fault line.

It is now thought to be the "ticking time bomb" fault line and more dangerous than

the San Andreas.

The scariest scenario for the next major earthquake may not be from the San Andreas Fault (though

that one still threatens), but from the Hayward Fault that runs along the east side of the

San Francisco Bay.

In fact, many say that the next earthquake on the Hayward Bay fault line would be "disastrous."

According to KTUV, a magnitude 7.0 earthquake along the Hayward Fault could kill as many

as 800 people and injure 18,000, according to results of a new research released Wednesday.

The U.S. Geological Survey, citing findings from a simulated tremor with an epicenter

in Oakland, said the disaster would cause 400 fires that could destroy 50,000 homes.

Nearly half a million people would be displaced, authorities said.

The simulated quake in the video above, known as the "HayWired scenario," was modeled

to occur at 4:18 p.m. on April 18.

It replicates a rupture along the fault's entire 52-mile length, from San Pablo Bay

in the north to just east of San Jose in the south.

According to this model, the violent shaking from the earthquake could cause the two sides

of the fault to split six feet apart in some places.

Some of the aftershocks would continue for several months as well.

Cities in the East Bay would be hit hard, including Berkeley, Oakland, San Leandro,

and Hayward.

If a 7.0 magnitude quake occurred like the one simulated, researchers say that the East

Bay residents could be without water from anywhere between six weeks to six months.

Electricity could be out for up to four weeks in some locations.

According to Business Insider, the statistical chances of this type of an earthquake occurring

are not very comforting either.

There's about a 76% chance that the San Francisco Bay Area could experience a 7.2

magnitude earthquake within the next 30 years, according to some recent reports.

The San Andreas Fault under San Francisco rumbled apart about 112 years ago, causing

the devastating 1906 earthquake that swallowed city blocks, broke water mains, and triggered

massive fires that burned for days.

However, the threat of another major quake for the Bay Area is "real and could happen

at any time," according to researchers for the US Geological Survey.

The Hayward Fault is a "tectonic time bomb, due any time for another magnitude 6.8 to

7.0 earthquake," according to a 2008 USGS report.

Since then, research has indicated that the likelihood of a Hayward quake is greater and

more threatening to the 7 million Bay Area residents than a San Andreas quake would be.

"It's just waiting to go off," USGS earthquake geologist emeritus David Schwartz

warned when speaking to the Los Angeles Times.

Donald Gives Melania Her Birthday Present Early, Shows What Kind Of Man He Really Is - Duration: 2:26.

Donald Gives Melania Her Birthday Present Early, Shows What Kind Of Man He Really Is

The liberal narrative concerning President Donald Trump is always the same:

Trump is cold, unfeeling, and above all else, terrible toward women.

Forget the huge number of ladies who proudly wear "Women for Trump" t-shirts; leftists

want everyone to think Donald is nothing more than a misogynist pig.

There's only one problem with this message: it isn't even remotely true.

And every time we turn around, our President does something else to prove liberals wrong

about his personality and his attitude toward the fairer sex.

First Lady Melania Trump's birthday is coming up quickly (April 26) and we're assuming

she's in line for some pretty glorious gifts.

But before the presents start flowing, Donald decided to give his wife her first – and

undoubtedly her best – present early.

In an email the President sent to the Make America Great Again Committee this week, he

said (via Breitbart): "Family is one of life's most wonderful

treasures, and serving as America's First Family has been a truly great privilege!

This month, our family is looking forward to a very special day.

Please join us in celebrating the first lady and my beautiful, kind-hearted and exceptional

wife Melania's birthday by signing her card.

Melania is my rock and foundation, and I wouldn't be the man I am today without her by my side.

She's the cornerstone of our family, and an incredible mother to our son, Barron.

I'm so proud of her accomplishments, and I hope you'll wish her well on her special

day."

Are those the words of a cold-hearted misogynist?

And despite the barrage of attacks the First Lady has suffered, it remains true that Melania

is a fantastic role model for young girls everywhere.

As Lifezette reminds us:

"The president is in rare company in touting the many attributes of his Slovenian-born

wife.

An accomplished and multilingual businesswoman in her own right, she's noted for being

an exceptionally loving mother…"

Of course, this source also reminds us that Melania gets continually trashed and ignored,

while Michelle Obama was the belle of the ball all eight years she was around.

But then again, that's just another of the many double standards infecting the liberal

agenda, isn't it?

PROOF 🍓 She's Abusing Her Children?!🍒Michelle Duggar - Duration: 3:47.

If you keep up with the comings and goings of the Duggar family, then you know that a

hot topic of discussion when it comes to these people is their parenting styles.

And that's because it's all very, very scandalous.

For years now, people have speculated on the way Jim Bob and Michelle raise their children,

and that's for a lot of reasons.

They just have so many of them, for one -- how does one even begin to parent 19 children

?

On top of that, it's always interesting to look into the Duggars' church and their specific

religious beliefs, because it turns out that others with those same beliefs use some pretty

concerning methods to care for their kids.

One of those methods, just for an example, is blanket training : you put a baby on a

blanket, and if he rolls or crawls off of it, then you scold him (or hit him, in some

instances) until he learns to stay put.

Do the Duggars do this?

Maybe, maybe not.

We've never seen them do it on any of their shows, but many other people who share their

belief system do it, so, you know, there's a decent chance.

But besides all that, there's been actual evidence that all is not quite right in this

family -- Josh's molestation scandal and the way it was dealt with, the way Jana seems

to be more of a mother to the younger kids than Michelle is.

And now, thanks to a live video Derick Dillard put on Instagram, there may be even more evidence

of abuse.

In the video, Derick is just filming around Jim Bob and Michelle's house, and he happens

to catch Michelle talking to Jennifer, her 10-year-old daughter.

She's visibly scolding her, and Jennifer is turned away, flinching.

When Michelle notices that Derick is filming, she's surprised, but then goes into her usual

sickly sweet public persona.

It may not sound like a lot, but after watching the clip, numerous Reddit users are convinced

that this is proof the Duggars are abusive to their children.

One person said that the clip contained "a lot of red flags," including "Jenny's body

language, Michelle's sociopathic switch to sweetness and the finger wagging which is

clearly being used as a threat."

"Omg did you see Jennifer flinch?"

another asked before answering that it looked like "she was actually flinching becauseshe

thought Michelle was going to hit her."

One user confirmed that "Jennifer was absolutely flinching," and "she did it as soon as Michelle

made a swift motion with her hands.

It looked like she was going to smack Jennifer in that moment."

Sadly, multiple people commented to say that Michelle's scolding and Jennifer's reaction

remindd them of their own abusive childhoods.

Of course none of this is definitive proof that she's hitting her children -- none of

us could know that, obviously -- but it's troubling that so many people think this is

evidence that something sinister is going on in the Duggar home.

Or something more sinister than the stuff we already know about anyway.

But regardless of everything else, someone else pointed out that "nothing about that

interaction looked to be a healthy way to reprimand a child."

And that sounds accurate.

Do you think this is proof that Michelle is abusive?

Peter, the apostle of the junta. Caltagirone - Sicily - Duration: 6:22.

Always in the collective imagination, the Easter party is linked to the memory of St. Peter who runs to announce to Our Lady that Jesus has risen.

La sua figura, imponente e gioiosa, dà inizio alla Festa secondo un rituale, quasi intimo e riservato, tramandato dalla famiglia che, con devozione e rispetto, lo custodisce durante l'anno.

The dressing of the statue, his arrival in the Church, his wandering around the city and his return after the breakaway, are something that not everyone knows and that is worth telling ...
