Lebanese Purse Bread - KAAK - Lebanese Street Bread Recipe - Duration: 7:07.
A half of 375g (3 cups) all-purpose flour, keep the other half for later. 7g (2-1/4 tsp) active dry yeast.
12.5g (1 tbsp) sugar, 5g (1 tsp) salt.
125ml (1/2 cup) warm milk, 125ml (1/2 cup) warm water, 15ml (1 tbsp) oil.
Stir well
Cover for 15 minutes until foamy
Add the remaining half of the flour. Stir.
Use more flour to handle the dough
The dough is very soft and sticky. Give light pressure so as not to stick in hand.
May rub the hand with little oil if too sticky
Form a ball
A bowl with oil to coat the dough
Cover and let rise until double in size. - First rise-
Punch the dough
Cover and let rise again until double in size. - 2nd rise -
The dough is soft but not sticky anymore
Smooth beautiful dough
Divide into 4 pieces
Form balls
Cover the dough while working on it
Sprinkle a little flour, flatten the dough and roll out into a circle.
Mine about 20cm or 8 inches
Use a cookie cutter or a small bowl to make a hole on one side near the edge.
Fix the shape to resemble a purse
Another way, roll into a rope with a belly in the middle.
Unite both ends
Press or flatten the dough to resemble a purse
On a greased baking tray or parchment paper. Cover for an hour. I use 2 baking trays.
Egg wash
The original use white sesame seeds. I use black sesame seeds to sprinkle on top.
Bake at 230°C (450°F) preheated oven, for 15 minutes.
Puffy golden brown and smell delicious

and I was suppose to work today,
but so far it's been cancelled so I'm staying home with the babe.

Started last night, but we started late
so we didn't finish them.
We both had to wake up early so I can show you what we have.
Still have all of these.
We installed one door and drawers so far.

After that, picked him up.

Then we picked up some food like this.
Ahhh!
So really good and nice because it's a farmer's market.
So it's local which is awesome!
We ate some Chipotle.

Pressure grows on Board of Trustees amid USC gynecologist scandal
USC's large and powerful Board of Trustees is coming under growing pressure to provide a stronger hand as the university faces a crisis over misconduct allegations against the campus' longtime gynecologist that has prompted calls for President C.L.
Max Nikias to step down.
Allegations that Dr.
George Tyndall mistreated students during his nearly 30 years at USC has roiled the campus, with about 300 people coming forward to make reports to the university and the Los Angeles Police Department launching a criminal investigation.
USC is already beginning to face what is expected to be costly litigation by women who say they were victimized by the physician.
So far, the trustees to whom Nikias reports have expressed sympathy for the women who have come forward and launched an indepdendent investigation while also publicly backing the president.
"There are very serious issues that are now squarely in the lap of the board of trustees and will require their action," said Michael Poliakoff, president of American Council of Trustees and Alumni.
"It is incumbent on them to restore public trust in the intuition.
They will be held themselves accountable by the degree to which they hold leadership accountable.".
The trustees came under criticism at a heated forum Wednesday that ended with the faculty senate voting to call on Nikias to resign.
Some speakers said it seemed the Board of Trustees answered to Nikias instead of the other way around.
"The main problem is this institution does not have a Board of Trustees.
Max has a Board of Trustees," one faculty member said, to applause and cheers.
Composed of 58 voting members, the board includes noted philanthropists, accomplished alumni, Hollywood insiders and business moguls.
Members include director Steven Spielberg, Lakers owner Jeanie Buss and mall magnate Rick J.
Caruso.
The Times reached out to numerous board members over the last week, but few offered comment.
Caruso said in a brief interview with Times columnist Steve Lopez that he is still trying collect all the facts regarding Tyndall.
"I need to understand what happened, why it was never fully reported and why his conduct was able to continue for so many years," Caruso said.
"I know enough to know I don't have all that I need to know.".
As for the future of the president, Caruso added: "Trustees believe Max Nikias, given the right circumstances, is the right person to lead this institution.
But, he said, the investigation "will go where it goes.
Ange-Marie Hancock Alfaro, chair of gender studies at USC, said she supports calls for Nikias to step down but still hopes the Board of Trustees can successfully navigate the scandal.
She said she believes there is a diversity of opinions on the board and that some members, whether they've said it publicly or not, are "more than outraged about what's going on.".
"There really is a sense that [this was] the straw that broke the camel's back," she said.
One USC donor, who spoke on the condition of annoymity, said he has talked to several trustees and that there are clear divisions on the board about how to address the scandal and the fate of Nikias.
Professor Gary Painter, who voted for Wednesdays resolution as a senator for the Sol Price School of Public Policy, said the board and Nikias have become increasingly remote from faculty, students, staff members and others at the university.
One of the issues the senate is grappling with is the fact that over the last decade or so there has been a greater and greater disconnect in governance between the president and the Board of Trustees and the rest of the university, Painter said.

Michael Avenatti, porn star Stormy Daniels' attorney, is being investigated by the California
State Bar, a new report reveals.
Seattle attorney David Nold filed a complaint against Avenatti on March 26, as The Daily
Caller News Foundation previously reported.
Nold accused Avenatti of defrauding the state and federal government as the owner of a Seattle
coffee chain.
"In essence, he bought a company out of bankruptcy and then used it for a 'pump
and dump' scheme to deprive federal and state taxing authorities of millions of dollars,"
Nold said in the complaint.
An April 18 letter Fox News obtained on Wednesday shows Avenatti is now under investigation.
The state bar only launches a "full investigation" if the attorney reviewing the complaint "sees
evidence of a serious violation," according to its website.
"The complaint against attorney Michael J. Avenatti has been reviewed and forwarded
to the Enforcement Unit for further investigation and prosecution, if warranted," the letter
states, according to Fox News.
Avenatti previously dismissed Nold's complaint in a statement to the Seattle Times but has
yet to provide any evidence refuting the accusations.
The porn star's lawyer threatened to sue TheDCNF's journalists on Monday for reporting
on his history of shady business dealing.
Avenatti has yet to demonstrate a single factual inaccuracy
in TheDCNF's reporting.

Uses of the words naega, which is Korean for I am, and niga, which is Korean for you are, were changed into different Korean words to avoid being mistaken for the N-word.
The changes were made to the parts performed by Suga and J-Hope.
