Youtube daily report May 25 2018

Hey, in this tutorial, I'm going to teach you how to use Applitools for automated

visual validation in under 10 minutes. Applitools is the same exact technology

that we use in my workplace to do over 3000 visual validations of HTML pages

every 2 weeks. My name is Nikolay. I'm the CEO of UltimateQA.com where automation

engineers go to watch the highest quality video tutorials. So stay tuned as

in this tutorial, I'm gonna teach you how to get your free Applitools account,

create your very first automated visual test using selenium webdriver,

execute that automated visual test, and see the user interface of Applitools in

order to figure out if there are any visual discrepancies. So let's go and get

started. Let's go ahead and get you set up with a free trial of Applitools

account. So all you have to do is go to Applitools.com, click the free trial

button, you can fill out all of these details. You can see no obligation and no

credit card required. This is a totally free trial. You get to enjoy a couple of

visual validations a week without any issues. So once you register, you'll be

able to go ahead and login by going here, clicking signing sign and filling out

your details and then you will be logged into the application. So, once you're

logged in, you'll see a view that looks exactly like this. Now, I'm gonna teach

you how to get set up. However, if you get lost or would like to look at this, you

can see that Applitools actually offers some options for you on how to get

started. You can actually click here and it will help you and take you to the

resources page. It will teach you how to get started based on the environment

that you have. It's really easy. Just copy and paste the code and follow their

instructions. However, I'm obviously gonna do the same thing here for you through

video tutorials, so the other very important thing that you need to know

here for now is how to grab your API key. So come here and click on this little

person icon and then when you click my API key, a window will come up that will

allow you to copy and paste your API key. Tat's important for the code. We're

gonna paste it into our code and use it. I'm not showing you to that here because

I don't want you using my API key because I'm kind of stingy with my

Applitools validations andd so I don't want to share them. And so, once you grab

the API key, we can then jump into the code and apply that API key there. Let's

go ahead and install all the software to get you started coding applitools tests.

So you've got to go into the solution explorer. I created a unit test project

here. I'm gonna go ahead and right-click go to manage and you get packages and

then I'm going to install all of the appropriate and you get packages. So

first, I want Selenium webdriver. So to make it really easy, I'm just going to

install Selenium support and that's also going to install Selenium webdriver.

Excellent! Now we need Chrome driver.

This will allow us to execute our tests against the Chrome browser. We need nUnit

so, you need nUnit and nUnit test adapter and unit allows us to code and

unit tests and unit 3 test adapter allows us to visualize the nUnit tests

inside a visual studio and have them show up in the test explorer and finally

we need Applitools the most important you get package and if you install eyes

dot Selenium, it will also install eyes that as DK automatically.

Amazing. If we go into the installed we can will see all of the packages that

are installed we got eyes SDK eye Selenium we got nUnit and we got

Selenium and we got Chrome driver.

Fantastic! now let's go ahead and set up

Chrome driver really quickly so that we can have a reference to the executable.

So, in order to do that, right-click your project go to properties, go to build and

under conditional compilation symbols what you need to do is say underscore

publish underscore Chromedriver and this will push it into your bin directory.

Save that. Fantastic! So now a build will publish the Chrome driver into your bin

directory, chromedriver.exe right there. We are now ready to execute our

tests. Alright. So let's go ahead and dig into the code. I've created this

solution here that you can actually get from this Github URL and it contains all

the code that you need. All you have to do is copy and paste it into your

solution or even download it from github and then you'll be able to get up and

running. So what's very important here is this setup method where I've created a

Chrome driver. I've also set up an implicit wait and then over here I

instantiated eyes right. This is what's coming from Applitools. We're gonna be

using this eyes in our test cases and another important piece of information

is me setting the API key right here. That's very important for Applitools to

know which environment to talk to and I set my API key through my system

environment variable. I went in and set that up. if you don't want to get too

complex with your environment variables, you can obviously just go ahead and

paste the API key just like that. This is what the API key actually looks like and

you can see we're just setting it equal here to this property API key property

from the eyes class but it's good practice

to put your API key in an environment variable so that no one else can see it.

And so, when you guys copy over this code, you can set your own environment

variable and then inside of the our test case which I called Sud baseline, the

other very important method who calls is eyes that open. What it does is

basically open up Applitools. So that now it can get some initial information such

as the driver and the taste case name, I'm calling you test case one and then

I'm also passing in a static resolution. So what this means is that this item

will always be opened up in this resolution then we use the check window

method to validate that the application is actually matching to our baseline and

then finally in our teardown method, we use eyes dot close which is gonna tell a

Applitools to close and then abort if not closed. So now let's go ahead and run this test.

You're gonna see something come up. You're gonna see a Chrome browser load

and all that kind of stuff and then I'll pull up Applitools here as well. So now,

if I go ahead and load the latest test case, you can see that we've got our

batch name on the left-hand side. You can see the badges and you see that it has

passed and we have a new test case with which nothing has happened yet. So you

can see this new right here so you can open it up and you can see the new test

case right here and if you open it up you can see that there is no baseline

image yet. That's because we have not set a baseline. This is our first time

running a test so it automatically gets a thumbs-up by default setting your very

first test run as a baseline. So now, every single test case that is executed

from this point forward is going to be executed against this baseline.

So now, let's pretend some has passed and as a team as developers,

we've messed with the application a little bit and changed some things about

it. So now, we can go ahead and rerun our test case. I've actually created a

different test case because I need something particular to happen with the

application however, this test case is basically gonna do the same thing as you

saw before it's going to open up the application and they check to see if it

is actually the same as our baseline and once the test finishes, we can open up a

plea tools and can see I have the test open right here on the right hand side.

You see the check point which means this is the test that I just executed and on

the left hand side, I have the baseline. Go ahead and take a look manually to see

if you can spot any differences. Well, if you couldn't, that's what Applitools is

here to do actually. What I can do is I can place the images on top of each

other and then I can tab through the images to see what has change. So again,

you can see that this is a check point here and so now if I tab through the

baseline and the check point you can see all of the changes that have occurred. So

in this case, as you can see, our text has changed in size and all of our elements

have shifted down a bit as well I can even use Applitools to help point out

all of the failures by highlighting everything in purple. So now, the question

remains is whether this was a bug or whether this was a desired change and a

change in the requirements? So once you answer that, you will know whether to

give this new checkpoint a thumbs up or a thumbs down. If it's a thumbs down, that

means you reject this and you log this as a bug otherwise you can give this a

thumbs up. And now this new version will be used as the baseline from this point

forward. So that brings us to the end of this tutorial. Hopefully you enjoyed it.

Applitools is an amazing tool to use for visual validation testing. It is one of

the best automation testing techniques that you can use in order to validate

that your application actually looks as desired. And so now you

have this tool in your toolbox, you're able to create a test. You're able to log

into Applitools, validate that it has successfully performed a visual

validation and that you are ready to go and expand your test automation suite.

Thanks so much! My name is Nikolay from ultimateqa.com and I'll see you in the

future.

Trump will speak to 1,042 newly commissioned ensigns and second lieutenants.

He is expected to highlight his efforts to boost federal defense spending.

On Twitter Friday, Trump said he looks forward to being with some of the greatest people on earth!.

It will be Trumps first time speaking to the academys graduating class.

Summit talk turns warmer; Trump says 'talking to them now' - Duration: 9:59.

Summit talk turns warmer; Trump says 'talking to them now'

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump on Friday warmly welcomed North Koreas promising response to his abrupt withdrawal from the potentially historic Singapore summit and said were talking to them now about putting it back on track.

Everybody plays games, said Trump, who often boasts about his own negotiating tactics and skill.

The president, commenting as he left the White House for a commencement speech, said it was even possible the summit could take place on the originally planned June 12 date.

They very much want to do it, wed like to do it, he said.

Earlier Friday, in a tweet, he had called the Norths reaction to his letter canceling the summit warm and productive. That was far different from his letter Thursday to North Korea leader Kim Jong Un, blaming tremendous anger and open hostility by Pyongyang for the U.S.

withdrawal.

The tone from both sides was warmer on Friday.

First, North Korea issued a statement saying it was still willing to give the U.S.

time and opportunities to reconsider talks at any time, at any format..

Vice Foreign Minister Kim Kye Gwan called Trumps withdrawal unexpected and very regrettable, and said the cancellation of the talks showed how grave the status of historically deep-rooted hostile North Korea-U.S.

relations is and how urgently a summit should be realized to improve ties..

Then Trump, in his response to that response, said it was very good news, and we will soon see where it will lead, hopefully to long and enduring prosperity and peace.

Only time (and talent) will tell!.

The presidents surprise exit from the planned talks on Thursday had capped weeks of high-stakes brinkmanship between the two unpredictable leaders over nuclear negotiating terms for their unprecedented sit-down.

The U.S.

announcement came not long after Kim appeared to make good on his promise to demolish his countrys nuclear test site.

But it also followed escalating frustration — and newly antagonistic rhetoric — from North Korea over comments from Trump aides about U.S.

expectations for the Norths denuclearization..

The White House has repeatedly offered mixed messages.

Hours after releasing his cancellation letter on Thursday, the president declared, I really believe Kim Jong Un wants to do whats right..

After that, however, a senior White House official said the North had reneged on its promises ahead of the summit.

Trump said from the White House that a maximum pressure campaign of economic sanctions and diplomatic isolation would continue against North Korea — with which the U.S.

is technically still at war — though he added that it was possible the summit could still take place at some point.

The senior U.S.

official said the North violated a pledge to allow international inspectors to monitor the supposed implosion of the test site.

International journalists were present, but the U.S.

government cant verify the sites destruction.

The official spoke on the condition of anonymity to avoid overshadowing Trumps comments Thursday.

Russian President Vladimir Putin, a staunch ally of Kim Jong Un, said the North Korean leader had in fact done everything that he had promised in advance, even blowing up the tunnels and shafts of the site.

Putin said of Trumps cancellation announcement, In Russia we took this news with regret..

On Friday, North Koreas vice foreign minister said his countrys objective and resolve to do our best for the sake of peace and stability of the Korean Peninsula and all humankind remain unchanged.

Trump, in his letter to Kim, objected specifically to a statement from a top North Korean Foreign Ministry official.

That statement referred to Vice President Mike Pence as a political dummy for his comments on the North and said it was up to the Americans whether they would meet us at a meeting room or encounter us at nuclear-to-nuclear showdown..

Underscoring the high stakes, Trump said he had spoken with military leaders, as well as Japan and South Korea, and stressed that the United States was prepared for any threat.

Still, Trumps cancellation announcement had appeared to surprise South Korea, which had pushed to keep the summit on track as recently as Tuesday, when President Moon Jae-in met with Trump in the Oval Office and said the fate and the future of the Korean Peninsula hinged on the talks.

The Blue House said Thursday that it was trying to figure out Trumps intentions in canceling the summit.

Trump, who considers himself a master dealmaker, has confounded aides and allies at every turn of the fateful flirtation with the North.

He looked past the warnings of senior aides when he accepted Kims invitation to meet back in March.

He unveiled the date and the time with characteristic showmanship.

And after initially projecting calm in the face of North Koreas escalating rhetoric, he made a sudden about face, though his letter also waxed poetic about the wonderful dialogue emerging between the two leaders.

Wrote Trump: If you change your mind having to do with this most important summit, please do not hesitate to call me or write.

Trumps aides had warned that merely agreeing to the summit had provided Kim with long-sought international legitimacy and, if Trump ultimately backed out, risked fostering the perception that the president was insufficiently committed to diplomatic solutions to the nuclear question.

U.S.

defense and intelligence officials have repeatedly assessed the North to be on the threshold of having the capability to strike anywhere in the continental U.S.

with a nuclear-tipped missile — a capacity that Trump and other U.S.

officials have said they would not tolerate.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, testifying Thursday on Capitol Hill, said North Korea had not responded to repeated requests from U.S.

officials to discuss logistics for the summit.

He told the Senate Foreign Relations Committee the lack of response was an additional reason for Trumps decision.

We got a lot of dial tones, Senator, he told committee chairman Bob Corker.

A White House team was set to fly to Singapore this weekend to continue logistical planning for the meeting.

Trump suggested this week that China was to blame for a little change in Kims attitude.

Kim paid a secret visit to his primary ally just before Pompeos visit, and China is wary of any shift in the balance of power on the Korean peninsula.

White House officials have privately predicted for weeks that the summit could be canceled once or twice before actually taking place.

Trump has seemed to welcome chatter of a Nobel Peace Prize, but that had yielded in recent weeks to the sobering prospect of ensuring a successful outcome with the Kim.

Will Legalization Increase Marijuana DUI Arrests in California? - Duration: 4:33.

Hi.

My name is Louis Goodman.

I'm a criminal defense attorney in Alameda County, California.

I'd like to talk to you a little bit about driving under the influence of marijuana and

the problems that come to the prosecutor in terms of proving one of these cases.

Despite all the hand-wringing about driving under the influence of marijuana in this brave

new world legalized pot, I don't think much is going to change in terms of the way these

cases are handled by the police or law enforcement.

As a long-time criminal defense attorney and as a former prosecutor who's handled thousands

of DUI cases, I note that there's a really substantial difference between driving under

the influence of marijuana cases and driving under the influence of alcohol cases.

Marijuana simply does not affect one's ability to drive as seriously as alcohol negatively

affects one's ability to drive.

Most DUI alcohol cases are found because the police noticed some really bad driving.

Most DUI marijuana cases are found out because the police make a stop for some other minor

infraction and therefore they then smell marijuana at a routine traffic stop.

So, despite legalization, incidents of marijuana arrests will not significantly increase.

I mean, let's not kid ourselves, people have not in the past been much deterred by the

fact that marijuana was illegal.

And due to legalized marijuana in the medical world, there's been a glut of good, high-quality

THC-laden pot available to virtually anyone who wants it.

Therefore, legalization is unlikely to affect the number of people who are smoking marijuana,

the quality of the marijuana that's being smoked, or the number of people who choose

to drive while under the influence of marijuana.

For a prosecutor to actually win a DUI case, she must prove to a jury that the substance

that the person is using actually has a substantial negative effect on the driving, that it significantly

impairs someone's ability to drive.

Now, in the alcohol DUI world, we have the .08 blood-alcohol level that has been established

through years of scientific research.

All the prosecutor really needs to do is prove that the blood alcohol level was .08 or higher:

criminal conviction.

There is no such standard that has been established for marijuana.

So, therefore, the case in the marijuana situation needs to be proved by circumstantial evidence.

In other words, the circumstances surrounding the driving: was there bad driving, was there

an accident, was there a lot of marijuana smoke, was there a lot of marijuana?

And this is a much harder standard for the prosecution to prove.

It's not that the… that's an impossible standard, but given that… it's… far more

difficult than simply proving a .08.

The prosecutor has an uphill battle and add to that, the generally friendly-to-marijuana-use

Bay Area juries.

And it's not hard to see why prosecutor will have some problems in proving a DUI marijuana

case beyond a reasonable doubt to a jury.

The reality is that legalization, in my view, will only cause a marginal increase in marijuana

use, a minor increase in driving under the influence of marijuana, and very little change

in terms of police enforcement or prosecutorial attitudes towards DUI marijuana cases.

So, if you or someone you know has any sort of a legal problem involving a marijuana violation

including DUI marijuana, please give me a call.

Et pourtant, me voilà! ». Crédits photos : Carl Timpone/BFA/Shutte/SIPA

WHY YOU SHOULD START JOURNALING (and some Journaling Ideas!) - Duration: 14:14.

hey guys in this video we're gonna talk about a way to help reduce that mental

clutter ie the 5 billion things that are probably running around your head right

now it's journaling and we're gonna talk

about why you should consider journaling some journaling basics and some of the

journaling that we do or we've used through our traumatic brain injury

journey coming up hey guys its Mish and Kim we are raising TBI awareness one

post at a time so most people have heard of journaling or have had some

experience journaling if you've not journal before let's talk about some of

the reasons why you should consider journaling it can be a powerful tool

especially for a TBI survivor like myself for one it keeps my life

organized and the more organized my life is the less brain activity I have to use

another reason is self-awareness when you journal about your dreams or a few

journal about thoughts that are in your head you become a little bit more aware

of life in the bigger picture as far as journaling in regards to health you

become more aware of your body and your overall wellness it can also help

encourage healthy habits for example if your journaling how many glasses of

water you drink every day and you're trying to encourage yourself to drink

more water that's another example journaling also helps solve problems for

me as an architect I carry a sketch journal around to help work out problems

instead of having it sit in my brain I draw them down and work the problem that

way there's also some cool emotional benefits if you've got something that's

on your mind and it's bothering you or eating away at you and you write it down

in a journal that can actually be helpful getting it out of your mind and

releasing some of the tension that might be just built up inside journaling is

such a powerful tool that it has no time barriers your kids your grandkids your

great grandkids are probably going to want to know more about you and if you

have journals no matter what kind of journals they are that sort of gives

them some insight on what their family history was like think about it there

are some noteworthy people out there that have

journals that have impacted the world

now let's talk about a few journaling basics first and foremost you want to

pick a medium now this could be pencil to paper it could be a pencil to

notebook it could be electronic digital it could be your phone it could be your

computer some people do a blog but the point is pick a medium that you are

comfortable working with if you decide to get an app for your phone try to find

something that cross-platform you want to get something that you can

access not only on your phone but you can go to on your computer you also want

to be mindful of things like subscription fees they do have some

really cool apps out there but they do actually ask you to provide a

subscription fee for using their service you may also want to think about the

security level in regards to the data that you're putting out there anything

that you put out on the interwebs could potentially be found so just leat

something to think about the goal is to find a way to make it easy for you and

the message you choose is a personal choice it can be as simple as a small

notebook in your pocket or to be as complex as a digital medium that you

have out on the interwebs we kind of consider this YouTube channel in a sense

a bit of a journal it's a timeline of history right for us basically in an

electronic visual video form some other 101 basics would be try to go for a

regular schedule if your journaling and it's something that you're trying to

find as therapy for yourself our regular schedule is really helpful few minutes a

day depending on the kind of journal that you have you could build a fairly

nice journal over a period of time another tip is to take your time you

know don't shortchange yourself take some time a little me time

write write in your journal and reflect and get those thoughts up let's talk

about some of the journaling that Kim and I do as we've gone through this

tbh a journey the first journal that we'll talk about is our gratitude

journals this is what it is so I like to show it though as you can see that

that's mine the whole point of doing a thankful journal or gratitude journal is

to sort of put life in perspective it helps remind us and Reece enters us to

understand what life is about we wrote one thing a day that we were thankful

for we found that one was sufficient you know so that you know it took it took

two seconds to reflect on one thing that we were thankful for it's nice to go

back and look at you were your gratitude journal hey can you read one of yours

sure randomly like flip to a page and today I'm thankful for my beautiful wife

and daughter I'm thankful for having the opportunity to go on awesome fun trips

such as Walt Disney World here it was written on it was written on March 16

2016 and I wrote so thankful for modern-day

toilets right I mean it puts life right I've been can't be before loved toilets

right there's a quote out there that sort of drives this home and it's by

Oprah Winfrey and it's one of my favorite quotes and it reads be thankful

for what you have you'll end up having more if you concentrate on what you

don't have you'll never have enough and that speaks

volumes to me it is another kind of journal that we utilize is a food

journal and we actually both keep one but for different purposes I've been

using a food diary recently past year to help me locate or determine what's

causing my skin issues I think it's an internal issue so the more I can write

down the more I can have a conversation with my doctor and also with the food

the food jotting down the food is may be some slight reactions and stuff that I

get right now for a food journal I just use my phone I use the note apps on my

phone it's cloud-based so I can

assess it from my phone or my computer for me I use food journaling in a sense

of counting macronutrients because there was a point in time where I was doing a

lot of weightlifting and I needed to know what was going into my body so that

I can lean up and produce muscle it's very well liked than that so wrong I

utilize an app called My Fitness Pal I think that's a pretty popular one I

think a lot of people have heard of that one all right another Journal that I

actually use that Kim didn't use it's something that is called a passion

planner and it's a planner but in a sense it's also a journal because in a

passion planner or in the passion planner that I use and I'll put a link

in the description below it allows you to write down goals goals and dreams and

things that you're trying to manifest for yourself on top of trying to keep

you organized and create healthy habits I actually really love mine this is my

passion planner right here and it's basically just a place for you to write

down everything that you know you may be doing during the week and it also gives

you some opportunities to you know talk about what you want to do with your life

you have a vision board in it and this is something that I really kind of like

because it I can reference it and look back upon it and remind myself what kind

of goals I have for my life and what kind of person I'd like to become

there's a section here that you can reflect on your month it asks you

questions such as you know what did you learn this month what are some

distractions or mental blocks how did I take care of myself

what are some things that I did this month to make myself feel good and so

you get to write all of this down and you can look back on the past couple of

months to see what you've been doing and how you've been taking care of yourself

and how you've been trying to reach your passions and life

that's the passion planner Shawn Wow we've got lots of journals another idea

is a daily diary our daughter actually uses one I don't have a daily I used to

when I was younger I don't have a daily diary because I have all these other

journals that I utilize our daughter actually uses a daily diary and you know

I talk to her a little but a little bit about it and I asked her well why do you

use it and she said it helps me sleep this is her speaking she says I use it

at night before I go to bed I have so many thoughts going into my head you're

going in going on in my head I open up my diary I write it down it's no longer

in my head and I can sleep so it basically clears her mind and that's

sort of what we were mentioning earlier that emotional support of getting stuff

off your chest is depending on to a piece of paper just to release it yeah

I'm sure she's gonna have all kinds of drama she'll get to write about in the

next couple years in that little diary another journal that we use is an idea

journal you know for me creativity be an architect I create all right carry

sketchbooks everywhere for woodworking I carry my a separate sketchbook for any

ideas that I'm thinking of and I have a journal that I use for basically

everything anything creative goes into this little drill right here I have

stuff in here regarding YouTube my life goals

meditation and yoga it's something that I utilize and I write and I write down

my ideas and my thoughts and things that I'm learning and it's something that I

can reference later this is everything in here that's like positive in my life

Reince therming journals also you know being a thermic brainstorming journals

but it's something about writing it down or drawing it out putting it on paper

using your your mind and your body your fingers just get it down on the paper

it's awesome it's a release it's a release now everyone has a story

another form of journaling which is our form of journaling is this YouTube

channel we're journaling our story our thoughts

our ideas on what we think might help other

individuals through this YouTube medium everybody has a story you have a story I

really feel that we all have a way of learning from each other you should

consider sharing your story get all of those thoughts that you have you know

you and all those things that you have so like embedded in your heart that you

could probably share and then share with the world and people can learn from you

it's cathartic doing so helps us get it out of our systems because we live it

every day and we figure is there a way that we can help other people

we journal we share our story you know it's 2018 with social media and

technology at your fingertips it's so easy to go out there and journal in any

kind of format so those are most of what we utilize to journal that's going to be

really interesting doing it it into a video we do a lot of documenting of

everything because of traumatic brain injury in our lives it helps us stay

organized it helps us get our thoughts together because otherwise our thoughts

are just a jumbled mess and I don't think folks it helps us stay focused

that's it that's true focus is so key now there are other journals out there

that we don't use that we could probably use at some point in time but there's

things such as a travel journal where you travel you travel you write about

all of it especially people that travel a lot about me journals you can actually

buy some books out at the bookstore or out online that ask questions to you as

a person filling out the journal to help you understand you you could do a

reading journal especially if you're a bookworm such as my daughter and talk

about your thoughts about all the books that you read family journals are

another one it's an important especially with a young child as they grow up you

know a special day may happen where you know your child starts to walk you have

a journal of when they walked and how you felt about it time is fleeting so

that yeah that's actually a really great way to journal is to journal your family

your experiences with your another journal type is meditation

journal so if you're out there and you meditate on a daily basis probably helps

to jot down how you're feeling and how the meditation helps you throughout your

day and direct your life you have literally journal about anything and

everything early like pizza experience you can even journal is so so much

journaling question of the day what other kind of journals are up there that

we've mentioned five billion if you know of any let us know in the comments

because I'd be really interested in what kind of unique journals are out there

for people on how it has helped yes yep so start encouraging those healthy

habits and overall sense of well-being with a little bit of journaling it's

Breaking Down Rogue One: Chirrut vs Stormtroopers | The Fighting Show - Duration: 3:46.

Hey, I'm Ify Nwadiwe, and this is

The Fighting Show! Today, we're talking Star Wars!

More specifically, Rogue One, when our man Chirrut held

it down on Jedha

trying to protect Jyn and Cassian.

It's a big brawl, and it's going down.

May the force be with us.

Alright, we are back here with my BFF; my

best fighting friend Lauren Mary Kim and

we're doing a Rogue One: Star Wars

the Chirrut fight scene; look, I mean this

is a dude with the staff fighting people

with guns how realistic is this? Not realistic at all

because he's blind we have to keep that in mind

and for him to attack people with armor is...

That's a feat! That already..

Well let's just break down the scene as a whole so

in the movie we're on Jetta with Jyn and

Cassian and they are pinned down by stormtroopers

and Chirrut, who is blind decides to step up

to the plate and take down some stormtroopers

Now I think here you assume that he uses

the Force to see..

but it's definitely not like the Daredevil

I can see through sound..

I think Chirrut does have some heightened sensibilities

because these stormtroopers have mad weapons and

he's dodging lasers. In Chirrut's defense star troopers

can't aim for anything, there are literal shots

where they're in front of it. They're the first string maybe.

Would you bring a staff to a gunfight

I would never do that I would probably

surrender or run away..

but for the sake of the scene we're gonna dissect it

and show like what we could do that would be

more useful! Yeah, that's good for me because

I never give up, never surrender so we're just gonna

break down one of our favorite parts of

the fight which is when he is engaging

three different stormtroopers at one time.

So right here Chirrut is doing an armlock

to a break which you actually don't see him

breaking the arm, Chirrut is basically controlling a

stormtroopers arms, use them as a human shield

because other people are shooting at him.

So what are the changes that you're gonna make to this fight scene to

really give it that all right so the first stormtrooper I would put him in an

arm lock and then break it let's break it let's just break his arm right away

because like my mom always said if it ain't broke break it from there zone out

because homeboy can still punch you in the face then you're gonna use your

staff to hit another guy out why stop there I kick him in the face keep my

eyes down right then from there you're gonna use the guy's arm and then use him

as a shield and then surprise how all your different opponents social roots

motivation in the scene is to allow Jin and cassian to escape how do you feel

your changes kind of makes that easier originally schroot does that amazing

trick kick but that's more of a showboat move and you're opening yourself up for

being shot we're doing a more effective approach of shielding yourself from

laser bullets effectively getting your friends out to safety I like the part

where you prevent yourself from being shot that feels like the most effective

way to win this battle it's not get shots we saved the day our friends go on

and live happily ever after but I think there's one thing left to do and that's

to tell people where can they find you you can find me on instagram and youtube

at Lauren Mary Kim and watch my colleague at Rhys and you can find me on

Instagram and Twitter and if you're wide awake during the iffy nation and make

sure you subscribe to gamma ray also like and comment below and tell us what

you want to see in the future so you can see that bang alright y'all we out see

ya
