The Making Of Kid Cudi's "Day 'N' Nite" With Dot Da Genius | Deconstructed - Duration: 7:21.

My friend worked with Cudi at Abercrombie & Fitch and he was like

"Yo there's this kid at my job."

"He's really dope."

"You should work with him."

We would make songs and then put it up on Cudi's music page.

When "Day 'N' Nite" was made, I'm like, "This doesn't sound like anything."

"It might not work."

But when we put out "Day 'N' Nite," it was different.

I didn't realize how mega it was but Cudi knew.

Cudi was like, "This song is gonna be a number one song somewhere."

I remember Cudi was working a late night shift.

He hit me like, "Yo, I got an idea for a song."

"We gotta work on it when I get off this shift."

I'm like, "Alright bet."

"I'm here."

"I'm at the studio."

He sang the hook idea for me.

I was like, "That's dope."

"Let's do it."

At that point, it was really just all about sound selection.

I'm scrolling through the Triton.

I'm looking for the best sounds that I can get and I fall on this sound.

What it provided was melody and rhythm like right off the jump.

Threw a delay on it to get the panning effect on the main synth.

Especially when people put their headphones on, you want them to feel like they're immersed in it.

I went ahead and started programming the drums.

At this point, I'm using the MV-8000.

I was reaching a point that I felt like all my drums were stale.

I go to Craigslist and then I come across this posting and it was like this dude like,

"Drum sounds."

"In BedStuy."

So I was just like, "Man fuck it."

"I'm about to go there."

I need these sounds.

And this time, there's no like USB sticks or none of that.

We burning shit to CD's.

And on that CD, I found what would be the kick and the clap for this song.

Strong clap.

Like a slap.

Being that this is still very early in my production career, I'm not pulling out like

the crazy tricks.

I'm just using everything that I had learned up until this point.

When you get to the hi-hat, very simple, again it goes with the synth.

Eighth note hi-hats.

The next sound I put down is the counter melody to the main synth.

Together.

And then, from that point, we needed something else melodically for the hook to make the

hook bigger.

A lot of what helped it be futuristic in my opinion besides sound selection was reverb

and delay.

Delay, if used correctly, just creates a space.

Like you feel the space 'cause you feel the delay slowly start to die.

Synth 2.

This was...

I believe a sound I got out of the Motif.

And this is support for Synth 3.

So that supports this.

They all have to kind of support each other.

So that's the first chorus.

So that's all the sounds that you hear up until the first chorus.

And so for the meat of the track, that is essentially what made up "Day 'N' Nite."

The ending part was an accident.

I gotta play these chords out.

I was getting ready to press record.

I pressed shift + spacebar instead.

And then it started playing in half speed and we both looked at each other and we're like...

"This is crazy."

"We gotta find some way to put this into the song."

I put a little stutter to signify that it's changing.

That's the wind effect that I threw in there.

I thought it was so dope.

Back then, back in those days, Pro Tools, I had the M-box and you can only have 24 tracks.

Like per session.

And your Pro Tools will just start messing up.

So I had started making beats, bouncing them down, and then bringing them into a new session

and record vocals.

The "What, what" sound and I have to let you guys know this, the effect that I put

on them is an old effect.

So if you look here, it was called the Antares Tube tech or something like that.

That's what gave it that sound.

So you're hearing his vocals really dry right now.

You hear "Day 'N' Nite" and he takes a pause.

So after I had that, I'm like, "This needs to keep going," so I just threw a quarter

note delay on it.

These are the throws on the "Day 'N' Nite" phrase.

I literally just had a send with a delay on it and I just sent it and just automated on those.

Just saying the hook and me panning them out, like you know making them sound like they're here.

With all the other sounds in the beat, then you get this with the hook.

I almost regret...

I feel like I didn't soak the moment in when it was happening.

We're on year 2 touring and I'm talking to people and they're like

"Yo 'Day 'N' Nite' that changed my life."

"That saved my life."

And I'm like, "For real?"

"No, that song saved my life."

And I just remember, man, music is just powerful.

If it's done correctly, it can be a healing type thing.

And that's Cudi's mission.

That's always been Cudi's mission.

It's like, "Yo I wanna talk to these kids.

I wanna let them know that they're not alone."

When I met Cudi, he was not smoking weed.

I had never smoked weed.

I had never did any drugs up until that point.

I'm just gonna tell y'all this story.

My parents are probably gonna be mad as shit.

Mind you, I'm in engineering school and like one of the smartest kids in the class, I caught

him smoking weed.

And I remember walking in the room and being like, "You smoke weed?"

"Nah, nah, nah, pass that."

Cudi gave me this speech like, "Yo bro what are you doing?

Nah man, don't fuck with that shit.

That shit's for the birds."

I'm like...

How did POPULISM conquer ARGENTINA? - VisualPolitik EN - Duration: 15:12.

Argentina is an interesting case.

See, at the end of the 19th century it was the richest country on the planet, that is,

it was richer than the United States, Australia, Canada and the United Kingdom, even when it

was at the peak of the British Empire.

By the middle of the 20th century the country had already gone down a few positions but...

it still remained one of the 10 richest and most prosperous countries in the world.

Today, however, it's not even in the top 60.

How can a country suffer such a dramatic decline?

Well, it may have something to do with the fact that since the 40s, roughly speaking,

Argentina has only known two political movements: military and Peronism.

In a past video, here on VISUALPOLITIK we talked about the origins of Peronism, we saw

how Juan Domingo Perón came to power, what his political approach was and how in 1955

he was overthrown by a new coup d'état.

Now, what happened after the coup?

What happened to Argentina?

How did Peronism evolve?

And perhaps, most importantly, what does it mean?

What is Peronism today?

Listen up.

(FRONT COVER)

In 1955 there were two coups d'etat against Juan Domingo Perón's government:

in the first, which proved unsuccessful, the Argentine Navy bombarded the Plaza de Mayo

in an attempt to end the President's life.

("Those present were surprised by the presence of planes that according to the official version

would fly to pay homage to the libertarian.")

The second, just a few months later, in September 1955, did not fail…

("Thousands and thousands of voices demand the presence of General Lonardi and the high

chiefs on the balconies of the Governmental House.

Emotion could not be contained when they appear before the people.")

Perón had to go into exile, first in Venezuela, then in Panama and finally in Francisco Franco's

Spain.

When the new government arrived, proclaiming the "Liberating Revolution", Peronism was

literally outlawed.

Everything, absolutely everything that had to do with the Peronist image... the marches,

the symbols, the hymns, the names... everything was prohibited by the military government.

("There are no losers or winners, only a people moving towards their legitimate traditions.")

In just 2 years, this "liberating revolution" dismantled every Peronist structure before

convoking new elections.

They even changed the constitution again to re-establish the one from 1853... although

they did add article 14 bis, which introduced almost all the social and interventionist

measures that Perón had established…

But...

The truth is that history is hard to forget.

By forbidding everything that had to do with Peronism, in a way, the military government

turned him into a kind of myth.

The fact is that in the following democratic elections in 58, President Arturo Frondizi

was elected... a politician who tried to turn Argentina around and reopen it to the world,

which is precisely what made the country one of the richest in the world.

But... just a moment… because despite the good economic results... he had to face the

Peronist unions and the military... who had of course, already gotten used to playing

with Argentina as they wished...

Because once the military boot is used, it's very hard to suppress the temptation to use

it again and again.

The fact is that a few years later the military demanded the resignation of the democratic

president Frondizi.

Why?

Well, because they felt like it

Is that not reason enough?

And when the president didn't accept...

What do you think the Argentine military did?

Use weapons to depose and imprison him.

The fact is that little by little the atmosphere became increasingly tense and Peronists themselves

were mobilizing more and more, demanding Peron's return.

There were elections and a very fragile government... the result?

The military made another coup d'etat... although they gave it another poetic name... a matter

of style, you know...

In this case they called it the "Argentine revolution" led by this guy you're seeing,

General Juan Carlos Onganía.

("I, Juan Carlos Onganía swear by God our Lord and the holy Gospels, to play my role

as President of the nation with loyalty and patriotism.")

And this was the beginning of a very tense period… because in addition to the dictatorship,

there was a cold war in the international context… and in Latin America that generally

meant struggles between leftist guerrillas and military governments.

And Argentina was no exception.

Yes, I think we can say that the 60s, 70s and 80s were terrible, terrible for all of

Latin America.

In the following years, guerrilla and terrorist groups began to emerge throughout Argentina,

such as the Montoneros, the Revolutionary People's Army and the People's Armed Forces.

And check this out, because Perón himself... had taken a strategic turn to the left and

was now encouraging these types of movements... from his home in Madrid.

Which of course was located in Puerta de Hierro, one of the most expensive areas of the Spanish

capital.

The fact is that between the bad economic situation and the attacks, there was such

a huge amount of discontent that the military regime was forced to call elections in March

of 73.

Although they, of course, left Perón out under the excuse that he didn't live in

Argentina...

But my friends, that ultimately didn't matter.

In September 1973 new elections were held and this time yes...

Juan Domingo Perón was elected president... with, check this out, his wife, Isabel Martínez

de Perón, as Vice President.

It was easier that way, everything stayed in the family.

The President-Vice President tandem won them an overwhelming victory, with approximately

60% of the votes.

But my friends... just a moment, because it wouldn't be that easy.

Listen up.

(THE RETURN)

One thing needs to be clear: there is an unwritten law in politics.

Opposition is one thing, and government, another very different one.

And that law certainly applied to Juan Domingo Perón.

See, as we mentioned before, during his time in exile, he became a point of reference for

every opponent of the dictatorship, both on the left and right.

But of course... this friendship between the extremes, once the dictatorship fell, was

doomed to fall not long after.

And that, my friends, is precisely what happened... and in a very violent way too.

The situation got out of hand.

the leftist guerrilla groups continued to attack civilians, politicians, businessmen

and the military.

Peron was no longer enough… they wanted a "popular revolution"

Well, at least that's what they called it…

And the Peronist government responded by promoting the creation, listen to this... of a paramilitary

group known as the triple A, Anti-communist Argentinian Association.

The result of all this mix… you can imagine it: tension, fear, confrontations and disappearances...

and, if that weren't enough, the economy also went from bad to worse.

So, Peron's return was becoming quite a mess… and it didn't even last that long…

because on July 1, 1974 Juan Domingo Perón's days came to an end... and he left behind

a terrible….

Terrible legacy.

In 1975, the war between Peronists under a Peronist government was at its peak and the

economic crisis led to a brutal devaluation that left the peso in tatters.

With this panorama... you can imagine what followed...

Exactly!

A new coup d'état... and not just by anyone.

The darkest period in Argentine history began on March 24, 1976: the Military Junta [hoonta]

government rose to power, led by Jorge [horhe] Rafael Videla…

whose period leading Argentina was characterized by the permanent violation of individual rights.

("The definitive closing of a historical cycle and the opening of a new one whose fundamental

characteristic will focus on the task of reorganizing the nation".)

This Military Junta [hoonta] left behind terrible numbers; more than 10,000 disappeared and

thousands and thousands became political prisoners.

But, my friends, just a moment because if you think that Peronism was dead this time,

you're very, very wrong.

(A NEW RISE)

After the dark and terrible period of the Military Junta [hoonta]... democracy returned

to Argentina in 1983.

("Compatriots, today begins a new era for Argentina.")

At that time, the Peronists were dismantled and a new president was elected...

Raúl Alfonsín... whom the Argentines remembered above all for the hyperinflation that occurred

under his rule:

("Many years of dictatorship in the country prevented us from learning the lesson of what

it means to govern in Argentina.

I apologize to all for my mistakes, but rest assured that there is an Argentine passion

that drives me.")

Inflation soared over 80% per month

Yes, that's what happens when you just run the bill printing machine.

And on top of that, both the military – again – and the Peronist unions decided to make

this government inoperable... the strikes were endless.

So... once they were reorganized, you know what?

The Peronists returned... this time under the leadership of Carlos Saúl Menem.

And...

Surprise!

("I come to summon you, to wage the battle against the privileges, the vested interests,

the infinite ambition of the speculators")

The new president, after two terrible first years, took a 180-degree turn... and launched

policies that were completely unexpected for a Peronist government:

He brought a wave of privatizations, liberalized the economy and trade and even achieved monetary

stability by introducing the 1 to 1 peso-US dollar exchange rate.

Foreign investments began to arrive, trade grew and the Argentines were again prospering

and feeling like they could rise up in the world again.

But, my friends, President Menem did not do one thing – President Macrí, take note

– he did not reduce public spending.

On the contrary... public spending skyrocketed... as well as corruption and waste of all kinds.

And what's more… since things were going smoothly, the reforms weren't completed...

leaving Argentina with an overvalued currency, a huge public expenditure, many imports and...

a ton of debt…

I think you know what happened… in 1999 the opposition took over… but it was too

late… the crisis peaked in 2001, Argentina defaulted and the Argentines suffered the

very famous "corralito".

Under this situation... in 2003... you guessed it, Peronists returned to power.

The Peronists' ability to wriggle out of the line of fault and blame others is highly

admirable.

They've almost always been in government... but apparently they've never been to blame

for anything.

But do you know who came to power?

Right... the Kirchners.

Peronists with the same policies as always... only this time very much more inclined to

the left.

During their years in the Casa Rosada, the Argentine White House, they restricted imports,

multiplied public spending, inflation, taxes and debt.

If you want to know more, keep your eyes on this video.

But my friends, just a moment, because before we finish we have one last question... a very,

very important one.

(WHAT'S PERONISM?)

What is Peronism?

How has it managed to be almost hegemonic in Argentina despite the fact that it's

had quite terrible results?

These are the truly important questions.

Well, my friends...

I think that taking history into account, we can say that Peronism more than a political

party is a movement with two essential pillars: excessive interventionism and public spending.

"Peronism always came to fix, to fix injustice, restore dignity."

The secret of their political success has had a lot to do with this...

every time Argentina had a problem, the Peronists promised more and more public spending...

all of course financed with the populist politicians' favorite instrument: the bill printing machine.

Under the excuse of political sovereignty, economic independence and social justice – the

three bases established by Juan Domingo Perón – Peronists have ended up making Argentina

a country that is closed to the world, that has long-term monstrous inflation and practically

lives in a permanent crisis.

Isn't it time to find another way?

Now it's your turn… from 1 to 5, what is your degree of confidence in Argentina's

future?

Leave your answer in the comments as well as in the survey.

Open the blackbox Audi g-tron – part 2

Hello Torben. - Hi Martina.

Welcome. It's great to have you here. - Yes, it's my pleasure.

So, we are now in the Audi A4 g-tron and I am driving off now as usual.

What is the advantage of the Audi g-tron?

It feels good, in any case. Just like any other car.

Torben Baier Project manager for the Audi g-tron product strategy Martina Biendl Social Media Team

If you want to protect the environment, with this car you don't have the issue with alternative drives

that you then have to put up with major shortcomings somewhere.

We have 170 hp; the car goes over 200 km/h.

There are actually no limitations.

The one big difference is that you drive much more economically.

Why is Audi e-gas special?

We are the only manufacturer that also produces its own natural gas.

How does that work?

As you have just seen for yourself, the wind is blowing.

On most days of the year we have more wind

than we can even use in the form of wind power.

And we are using that to our benefit: Whenever this happens, Audi powers up its e-gas plant

in Werlte and uses the excess wind power to produce its own natural gas – methane, that is.

How does that work?

We have electricity, we take water – H2O – and make H2 and O2 from it.

Then we take H2 and mix it with CO2.

In the end, we get methane, which has the chemical formula CH4.

The advantage is that we feed it into Germany's natural gas grid

It has a very high storage capacity of four to six months.

This means that we can store this wind power for a long time, and even if there is no wind

and no sun shines, we can then use this alternative fuel

to drive a car.

This means a synthetically produced gas that is only available from Audi –

is that right?

Audi is the only manufacturer to offer something like this.

So this is truly Vorsprung durch Technik.

To be continued ...

no he's not pause during that shit try to figure out I know there's a way I can

block I'm just forgetting I've hit like every button I can think of

there's health I need that

oh my gosh oh this is cool because if your Star Wars family me it might remind

you of the Jedi Temple in a way like a Jedi Temple Library so it kind of looks

like to me kind of cool

Matt

yes not very helpful

no I don't think so why would I think that

they can plan whatever they like but no one can enter this area without a

special fast even you had to get it first right

I don't think so there's the occasional malfunction of equipment but these

things happen we're currently dealing with one

come in I can't hear you come in

I don't know I can't contact the technician

I don't think I'll just walk over there sub turns out you'll see that everything

is in order something is up tell me about the factory factory yeah

it's been years since this baby was a factory now it's a giant of war plant

but the name stuck apparently we should thank Flavius for this factory of course

neither of us remembers it 400 years ago our people were losing battle

because of their more advanced technology

hard to believe because they learn your head lobbyist was just starting back

then so to speak he was an elder God but he was still very young

for example Asterius and the darkness have about 600 years on themselves

during one of the invasions by the mechanoid specifically Flavius finally

managed to make sense of their machinery interesting

yeah well that's true for most military technology our factory was the first

experimental facility designed to produce new military equipment for a

long time and how's nothing but fly visas personal laboratory but we've

grown steadily over the past century hmm let's go then just look at these

beautiful things that's why they're trying to take it down because if you

lose Factory 501 we are in big trouble

big trouble now

you know my biter is getting low

reminder regular warranty maintenance required

what is this house was possible who reprogram only our technicians could do

that but they would never do such a thing

something's up bro where the grounds

something's up you gotta take me there or something I should go back and find

our Templar Gardens can you look for Dad

he became a father last month and I don't think he's a traitor

I really don't

all right it's just a malfunction still

hmm my whole side of the map I can't go too

Denzil trade-off we will have to stop down

good shit shit shit

all right

apparently not apparently you didn't know him apparently something happened

really didn't know the guy

I

what's happening you got some explaining the dude and was doing some horrible

things you actually were doing them oh god I don't feel so well

did I really change their targeting desk

I wish the Reapers had killed me instead because uncle very will do that anyway

it can't be done from here we should get to the main hall sorry you need to move

a little further but it wouldn't be easy try to clear the way and I'll do the

rest

all right

alright I'm in trouble shit

come on here we go

you must remain to make sure that everything goes as planned

you can hold their own against a couple of immortals and be glad

extreme caution recommended and it will be made

all right Titan guard

yeah yeah yeah wake up I got it how nope

already

shit

who won more after that yep yeah yeah active caution mode

dangerous enemy neutralized boom what what

I'm hoping longer and the factory would have been a crater besides the Research

Center thanks for your help no problem don't be modest now immortals are real

heroes in my book the other plants need to hear about this and taking up their

security special helmets to protect the Templars against mind-control the

Reapers won't be able to do this trick again

aliens fighting efficiency is important and we can't let anything compromise

them did you notice that strange figure - that was the gravedigger so the rumors

are true we have a big problem so the Reapers are no longer

disorganized there's now a no reader and probably some sort of plan and it works

yep and I'm moving that stops um it's gonna gonna be awesome

Zebra GX430T Barcode Label Printer Review and Demo - Duration: 4:30.

Hey, I'm John, I'm here to talk about

the Zebra GX430T desktop printer.

Probably, one of the most recognizable

desktop thermal transfer printers in the world.

(digital jingle)

So, this is the Zebra GX430T desktop printer.

It's part of the Zebra performance desktop printer line.

The 200 dpi version of this printer is the GX420T

and what's nice about this printer is its size.

It has a small footprint which allows you

to install it just about anywhere.

I mentioned that this printer has a small footprint,

it makes it ideal for installing on your desk

or on a file cabinet.

It also has options available

for peel and present, and a cutter.

I think this printer is very easy to load,

both, the material and the ribbon.

(gentle music)

As you can see, this does not have a display.

Some printers have a display that's pretty accessible

to the user and someone who does not know what they're doing

can get into the printer and change some of the settings,

like the the heat setting or the speed setting.

This one doesn't have that option

so you don't have to worry about that.

(gentle music)

With the GX430T, the benefits and limitations,

kinda, go hand in hand.

It doesn't have an LCD screen

and if you're the type of person

that likes to have that interaction with the printer

this isn't the printer for you.

With the small size comes the small media roll,

so you're not gonna be able to put

a eight inch roll of media in this printer.

And it's, kinda, important to note

that the label roll holder and the media guide

are one construction, so if your roll of media telescopes

in this printer you're gonna experience some print drift.

Some of the applications and environments

that you're gonna see the GX430T in

is the health care industry.

You might see it printing blood bag labels,

or you'll see it in hospitals.

I think, just about, every floor,

every department of the hospital

you're gonna see multiple GX430T printers.

You'll also see it in manufacturing

and in the retail environment printing receipts.

It's also used widely in the transportation

and logistics industry.

This is a printer that's gonna be used everyday

but not fitted to print 24/7.

(gentle music)

If you're looking for a reliable, low cost

desktop thermal transfer printer,

the Zebra GX430T printer is for you.

If you've seen our video

of the top 10 thermal transfer printers,

it's the least expensive printer on our list.

I've seen the Zebra GX430T printer used

in just about every application in every industry.

That tells me that it's reliable and affordable.

Top 10 Cream The Rabbit & Cheese Surprising Facts - Duration: 7:24.

Cream the Rabbit is a Sonic character that often gets a lot of criticism - whether it's

because of her behaviour, her literally cheesy name with her Chao sidekick Cheese, or because

of her voice.

Often, she has an incredibly high pitched squeak when she speaks, and tends to have

a habit of crying a lot.

That being said, the pair still have a pretty large fan base, and loyal players who are

always jazzed to see when they're included in a game.

First appearing in Sonic Advance 2, the duo would quickly become reoccurring characters,

and have amassed a bit of an interesting history over the years.

So today, we're counting down our picks for the Top 10 Cream the Rabbit and Cheese

Surprising Facts.

We'll be primarily focusing on Cream for this list since the character has a more expansive

history than her Chao sidekick, but fear not!

Cheese will get some loving too.

With that in mind, let's jump in!

10 A Fox Initially, Cream was conceived to be a Fox

character rather than a rabbit.

The prototype artwork of the character depicts her as a fox not dissimilar to Tails, but

with pigtails and a bow.

Another initial sketch looks quite like a squirrel, but inevitably, Sega ended up going

with a rabbit instead.

Speaking her origins, Cream's name was intended to be a pun of two foods according to Yuji

Naka, if that wasn't already obvious - Vanilla Cream, in association with her mother Vanilla

the Rabbit, and Cream Cheese with Cheese the Chao.

9 Cheese's Origins How about Cheese's origins though?

According to Sega, the character was initially designed to be a playable one for beginner

players.

But instead, this was changed to Cream getting the Chao as her constant sidekick in order

to give her an offensive maneuver.

This choice was made because Sega thought that if she had a different kind of attack,

it was damage Cream's image as a 'sweet girl' if she were to strike enemies herself.

There are only there games where Cream is not with Cheese - Sonic Adventure DX Directors

Cut, Sonic Free Riders and Shadow the Hedgehog.

8 Amy's Sidekick What Tails is to Sonic, Cream is to Amy Rose.

Amy often fills a big sister role to Cream, and they've worked together many a time.

Along with Big the Cat, the two of them are on Team Rose in Sonic Heroes.

The two often look out for each other in the other games in the franchise, and interact

often in cutscenes, with Amy Rose constantly looking out for her younger pal.

In Sonic Advance 3, they make up Team Jubilee.

And if you're the type whose craving some Amy/Cream platform action, there's plenty

of mods that have been crafted for Sonic the Hedgehog 2 that replace Sonic and Tails for

Amy and Cream, which is pretty darn cool.

7 Her Family Cream was the very first character in the

Sonic franchise to have been noted to have a known parent.

Her mother is Vanilla the Rabbit, who also made her debut in Sonic Advance 2.

She's kidnapped alongside Cream and Cheese by Dr Eggman, and once Sonic saves Cream and

Cheese, they seek out Vanilla, who tends to have a habit of getting kidnapped by the mad

scientist - she's kidnapped twice in the game.

Her later appearances are more cameo-esque, popping up during parts of Cream's narratives,

or interacting briefly with Sonic, typically about Cream's whereabouts.

Parents in general aren't overly common in the franchise's games, although a few

characters do bring it up, including Tikal (another character whose parent is actually

known as a character rather than just being mentioned in a throwaway line of dialogue).

6 Her Age If Cream is always getting a lot of heat for

being a character that has such a high pitched voice and cries quite often, you'd think

that Sega would revise their approach on her, no?

Well, there's a very valid reason as to why they haven't - it's because Cream

is a child.

When we are first introduced to her in Sonic Advance 2, Cream is 6 years old.

5 Shipping Now that you all know Cream's age, it's

time to weird you the F out by talking about all of the ships that fans of the series have

dreamed up for the young rabbit character.

While initially that doesn't sound bad - really, what could be wrong about her and Tails being

an adorable little couple together?

- consider one ship that gets more interest than it should - Cream and Doctor Ivo Eggman

Robotnik.

Yes, a grown ass man with a walrus moustache.

The villain seems a whole lot more pervy now, doesn't he?

Cheese also has it's own ships, too, weirdly enough.

ChaoShipping is the ship namer Cream and Cheese, TripleDesertShipping is between Cream, Cheese

and Chocola, and Sweets Buffet Shipping is Vanilla, Cream, Cheese and Chocola - here's

hoping all of these are just platonic family ships, though.

4 Sonic Advance Cream and Cheese are never characters you'd

imagine as being a top pick for when it comes to fighting bosses in the Sonic games.

But, turns out there's one series where the duo are a stellar choice - Sonic Advance.

This is because Cream's flight abilities allows players to better avoid the attacks

of the bosses in that series, and that you can throw Cheese at a boss without even moving,

which can result in an easy way to avoid taking any damage at all.

How sneaky.

3 McDonald's McDoanld's has always embraced pop culture

hits when it comes to Happy Meals.

Most major kid-adored franchises have had done their time as happy meal toys in the

past, and of course, you can bet that that includes our favourite blue hedgehog.

There's been some pretty cool Sonic themed merch over the years, from toys released for

Sonic the Hedgehog 3 in 1994, to handheld LCD games in 2003 and 2004 in celebration

of Sonic Adventure DX Director's Cut, Sonic X, and Sonic Heroes.

Cream has appeared in a few of the commercials promoting these Happy Meals, including the

notoriously bad one from Pakistan - where all of the characters do NOT look like the

characters.

But aside from that, she did get a starring role in another McDonald's ad alongside

Sonic and two very enthused kids for the 2004 Sonic Heroes happy meal toys.

2 Sonic Jump Cream's jam is primarily cameos - she's

only appeared in three main series console games over the years.

She's even been cut from games in the past, too.

This includes Sonic Jump - the 2012 mobile game that Sega released that recently became

available as a Facebook game.

It earned a hefty amount of controversy when it was unearthed that the game was collecting

data it shouldn't of been.

Classic Sega.

Anywho, in a more positive reveal, turns out Cream, along with Shadow and Vector, were

supposed to be included in the app version, but were never released since Sega decided

to stop updating the app.

Despite it being on Facebook, it was announced that there were no plans to add more characters

to the game.

Cheese would have followed Cream around in the game, collecting rings for her.

Side note, based on these assets, when she curls up, it appears that she has two sets

of ears.

1 Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut Sonic games have a history of slipping in

little Easter eggs of their characters from time to time.

Most notably perhaps is the inclusion of Big the Cat running through the cut scenes of

Sonic Adventure 2, resulting in some pretty comical reactions from players.

Turns out Cream has her own little cameos in another Sonic game - SonicAdventure DX:

Director's Cut.

While they aren't as hilarious or awkward as Big's cameos, Cream appears in the GameCube

and PC version of the game - and also the Xbox 360 and PS3 version Sonic Adventure,

too.

You can spot her at various points flying around Station Square, near the station itself

and Twinkle Park, and the area surrounding Casinopolis.

This, minus her trophy cameo in Super Smash Bros Brawl, is the only smaller size cameo

where she just appears rather than being an unlock able playable character, like in Sonic

Riders.

There we have it friends!

How do you feel about Cream and Cheese?

Do you dislike them, like a lot of other sonic fans?
