PICK A CARD // What Your Partner Loves About You? *What Is Your Best Trait In A Relationship?* - Duration: 24:45.
Hey soul friend. I'm Marie Seshet and welcome to my channel. I'm back with another pick a
card reading for all my zodiac signs what does your partner love about you?
what is your best trait in a relationship hands down? Now this doesn't
only apply to romantic relationships... you can also apply this to friendships as
well okay... so as always what I need you to do is pick one of the five groups
group 1 group 2 group 3 group 4 and group 5 okay if you need to feel free to
pause the video in order to meditate on which group is right for you. you can
pick more than one if you're called to but really trust your intuition and
whichever one you hear in your mind or whichever one pulls on your heart or
third eye chakra that is usually the deck that has the message that's meant
for you okay let's get started. alright group one what
is your best trait in a relationship? what makes you the perfect girlfriend or
boyfriend? what is it that you bring to the table? alright so for those who chose
Group one I'm hearing that one of your best traits is your passion, your free
spirit and your energy you bring in this very carefree 'let's just go for it' kind
of energy to your relationships which is really beautiful because you're always
open to try new things and to understand the other person and what they need to
to be happy in the relationship you are very observant as well. you tend to pick
up on clues and hints that your partner might be sending you. you pick up and see
things that other people miss entirely and because you were able to
know what that person is trying to say or what that person needs, you are then
able to take action and give them what they need before they absolutely need it
or before they verbalize it if that makes sense. what's interesting is that
even though you have this very carefree energy you're also extremely powerful
most people are typically one or the other but you are a perfect balance and
blend of both energies you know exactly when to be serious, when to be decisive
and when to take action and then also you know and you can be more free and
fun and compassionate in a relationship setting. you seem to be the authoritative
figure the leader and your partner may look to you for stability and structure
in their life. they may look to you to provide them with security and decisions
as to what the next move is... in your relationships you create this atmosphere
of power and freedom and people definitely feel as though they are
getting the best of both worlds. another really great trait of yours is that you
are able to turn any bad situation into something positive into something good
like if it's raining and you had date plans for that night you move forward
and you take action and turn what could have been a really crappy date into the
most romantic date. you're almost like a glass half-full person in your
relationships you're always looking for the solution instead of focusing on the
problem and what no one else will make a decision or take action you will. it's as
if you truly believe you create your own reality. it's as if you believe that life
is what you make it and you are constantly turning lemons into lemonade
and that power that freedom that understanding that carefree energy is
what you bring to any relationship you find yourself in and it's amazing... you
have the perfect balance of love independence and influence. you have a
clear vision you know who you are, you know what you want and you have an
innate ability to know who other people are and hear what other people want
before they even tell you. I honestly wish I could see here and talk forever
about you because you are so magnetic but I have to move on it's a group two
alrighty group - what is your best trait in a relationship? what is it that makes
you the perfect girlfriend or boyfriend?
what is it that you bring to the table?
alright so for those who chose group 2 I am hearing that you have this very
meditative logical and disciplined energy in your relationships. you bring
this calm and serene awareness and enlightenment
with you... one of your best traits is that you are always willing to transform
yourself. you are always willing to grow, to do better, to be better. you are able
to separate yourself from any situation in order to see it for what it is... in
order to understand it on a deeper level or understand the other person on a
deeper level. you are able to completely detach yourself like a monk. you are able
to put your own needs and wants aside and literally take yourself
out of the relationship in order to
fully understand how you are truly affecting it and what needs to be done
to improve it. you're always concerned about the greater good the greater
vision and that is something so beautiful that you bring to the table
in your relationships you have an intense passion for the inner world for
the spiritual world and that passion bleeds into your relationships you are
then able to help your partner know their true self. you are then able to
guide others to look more within themselves for the answers they seek. you
are very grounded, very centered and very introspective. you're not afraid to say
no to anything that is not aligned with your soul and you are also not afraid to
say no for your partner or for a loved one. you're just you are able to see the
results in consequences of any action and because of that in any relationship
setting you are able to prevent your partner from making certain mistakes
from wasting their time and walking down the wrong path. you bring so much
discipline and so much focus to your relationships. you remind me so much of a
monk you know how monasteries welcome in those who are not of their kind. they
welcome in people who are a purposeless who are lost who are all over the place
and unsure of where to go or what to do next or even if who they truly are and
like a monk or monastery you are able to transform someone's life, someone's mind
someone's heart and soul. you can see straight into someone's
pain and you're not afraid to shed light on it in order to make sense of it and
then ultimately transform it. you make your loved ones feel safe and warm and
welcome just as they are - problems at all. you breed so much light and love and
wisdom in your relationships and your partner always feels as though you just
know them. they always feel as though you know who they are on the inside. you
truly know who they really are. they can be unfiltered with you, they can be naked
and bare and real. in your relationships you create an atmosphere of openness and
growth you make your partner's believe that you care more about their soul than
their physical body. looks honestly might not mean that much to you and your
partner's truly love that about you you're so deep and inspirational and
when you enter into a relationship with somebody you open them up to a whole new
world of unconditional love, passion discipline and wisdom. you definitely
bring the best out in anyone you love seriously if I met you I wouldn't ever
let you go. I cannot get enough of you and I love you already oh my gosh
okay I don't want to but moving on to group three alrighty Group three what is
your best trait in a relationship? what makes you the perfect girlfriend or
boyfriend? what is it that you bring to the table?
okay so for those who chose group three your best trait in a relationship is
your innocence. I'm hearing that you have this spontaneity to you this free spirit
in your relationships you bring this fresh, loving, adventurous energy with you
you are always ready to embark on a new journey with new people and new
experiences. you are always ready to explore a new city a new state or a new
country. you are always willing and ready to move freely in whatever direction you
need to go. you never let the energy in your relationships become stagnant... you
keep your partner's on their toes you never give in to mundane routines like
you keep life fresh and exciting inside and outside of the bedroom and you
definitely bring the fire. on date nights you're always the one suggesting a new
restaurant. you may randomly send spontaneous text messages. you might also
surprise them with gifts or a home-cooked meal or a weekend getaway
you're just very genuine relaxed and easy. you radiate love and purity and
that energy bleeds into your relationships. people on the outside
honestly might think you are this wild and crazy scattered individual but you
know exactly what you're doing. you know that there is a logic behind your
actions and a certain magic to your madness. with all the aces in your
reading because you have a lot of them you are a giving person you kind of
operate by the law of attraction and you send out positive energy into the
universe because you know you will receive abundance in
return. you definitely feel as though you have some impenetrable spiritual
protection which allows you to move and fly like the wind and to some people
that might be terrifying but to your partners you make them feel free and
innocent again. you have a real deep appreciation for people and community
and different cultures around the world which means that you bring that same
appreciation to your relationships. you appreciate and respect your partner's
individuality. you appreciate your partner's words and thoughts and
feelings. honestly I'm feeling a lot of creative and artistic energy here... you
might just be an artist or writer in some capacity. I'm hearing with the ace
of swords that you seem to consistently have some new idea, inspiration or
creative vision bubbling within you. you tend to look for the potential in every
situation. you look and see how you might take advantage of whatever comes your
way because you know that the opportunities - sorry... the
opportunities you take can make real and important changes in your life. overall
overall you feel whole and complete within yourself you have so much courage
when things go wrong and you know that you can tackle anything and be
successful and because of that your relationships are all the better for it
so stay innocent stay free. you have an imagination like no other and you have
more spontaneity and impulsiveness in your pinky than most people have in
their whole body including me and I would be honored to have even an ounce
of the pure childlike energy running through your veins. you bring pure joy
and fun and passion to your relationships and that
makes you such a great partner... yeah I love it. okay moving on to group of four
alright group four... what is your best trait in a relationship? what is it that
makes you the perfect girlfriend or boyfriend? what is it that you bring to
the table? okay so for those who chose group four I'm hearing that you have this
true everlasting love and harmony about you. you are so nurturing
geez... nurturing of yourself and of others in your relationships. you create
this atmosphere of peace and happiness one of your best traits is your loyalty
your devotion. you are able to just make people feel wanted and adored. you are
able to make people feel warm and at home
you literally epitomize the perfect love when someone gets into relationship with
you they might immediately feel as though
they just got married because you're so loyal, romantic and kind. you are always
there for them. you are always making sure that they are okay. at the same time
you don't ever get into a relationship with somebody you can't see a future
with because you you want a future with someone. you want a family in a big house
and that vision you see in your head, you want to share that with someone you love
you may be like the type of person who really cares to make sure that like if
your date got home safely or you're just always checking up on people and making
sure that they're fine. you are someone who works hard for your relationships
you work hard to provide and keep a certain level
of comfort in your life and in their life. what's interesting is that even
though some people might see you as a pushover on the outside or some people
might see you as someone who loves too much... you are actually extremely
confident in who you are and what you personally bring to your relationships
you know how truly powerful kindness and love is, you know how it... you know how
great it feels to love yourself and so you're always willing to love someone
else right? in your relationships you're really organized and efficient you solve
problems before they become problems you're also extremely health conscious
I'm hearing and you may introduce new partners to a new way of eating, a new
way of working out and just a healthier lifestyle in general. honestly you're so
aware of the emotional needs of others and that ability of yours bleeds into
your relationships it is a superpower of yours. your loved
ones trust you with the groceries, the bills, stocking the house, the kids, the
business, the finances and their secrets they trust you with their entire lives
and they trust you because you care because you care so much more than most
people you have the biggest heart of anyone they've met and that is your best
innate trait in any relationship you find yourself in and that is what truly
makes you the perfect partner... you just love love and love to give love and I
would be honored to have some of your love... alrighty
moving on to group five. alrighty group five what is your best trait
in a relationship? what makes you the perfect girlfriend boyfriend? what is it
that you bring to the table? alrighty so for those who chose group 5 I'm hearing
that you have this imaginative idealistic, humanitarian energy. you are
thoughtful and intelligent and responsible. one of your best traits is
your intense love of life. you have this bright active aura that radiates like
the Sun into the lives of others and that aura bleeds into your relationships
you radiate optimism and happiness. you have this ease with people which draws
them to you like a magnet. honestly you probably have a lot of admirers you... you
are an extremely expressive person with a lot of energy and enthusiasm for life
and creativity. you may actually be an artist in some capacity in your life but
although you are imaginative and very much like a butterfly, there is this
practical side to your nature. you are very reliable and determined. you carry
out your plans very well. you... you always do what you say you're gonna do you
always follow through. in your relationships you are a big believer
in communication you believe that a lot of problems in the world today are
caused by a lack of understanding and a lack of true soul communication and
because of that in your relationships you are very expressive and you
encourage your partner to be as expressive as well... to be open and honest
with you in your relationships once you have
given your affection you are an extremely devoted person and supportive
in every way. you are faithful and loyal and your love for life keeps your
relationships high-spirited and dynamic you are definitely a very patient
individual and are very optimistic. you have a naturally optimistic outlook on
life you may even find fulfilment in your relationships by nurturing and
growing projects people and ideas from the ground up. you are the kind of person
who would meet someone before they're famous and literally nurture and grow
them and their vision along with your vision while simultaneously rising to
the top you're like Michelle who met and grew
Obama and in turn became Michelle Obama or Chris Ivory who met Ellen Pompeo or
Jay-z and Beyonce or Jada Pinkett and Will Smith. you're just the kind of
person who would meet someone with the same vision as you and you would water
that vision and nurture that connection and then one day look up and be that
power couple that the entire world can't stop talking about. you are able to bring
out the light in others and you use your innate talents wisely and
productively to manifest your reality you have this inner inner vibrancy that
fills all your partners with everlasting energy and inspiration. whatever you
touch turns to gold, whatever you touch grows. that is your unique and special

700HP Jaguar F Type SVR ARDEN Review by AutoTopNL (English Subtitles) - Duration: 7:35.
Today we start
with a thank you!
This car
the AJ23 RaceCat by Arden
has been sold
And still we can drive it!
And that's because the new owner
has given us permission to drive this.
so THANKS!
to the owner, if he/she is watching.
You're going to have a lot of fun!
There's a very small group
just a narrow line
who think
that the SVR's of Jaguar Land Rover
should be wilder.
louder.
faster.
That's the group Arden likes to focus on.
Which is why today we drive this F Type SVR
with 703HP and 873NM
And an exhaust..
I would say top 5 in our 8 years
most loud exhausts
most dirty sound!
raw..
My god!
Tunnel!
We knew it was here..
It's SO loud!
The stock SVR is not a gentle car
575HP and 700NM
from that 5.0 V8 Supercharged
Jaguar Land Rover engine
one of our favourites!
What have they done to it?
a Supercharger upgrade
Carbon Air intake
software is different
Forged pistons
and an exhaust
adding up to 703HP
It's insane
Just like the exterior
When this approaches..
from the front especially
without the license plate..
It's a new Arden grill
All black
It just looks so agressive!
It also has Carbon winglets
Carbon sideskirts
Carbon diffuser
Winglets at the back
and a Carbon spoiler
But that's from SVR
an optional extra..
It's an active spoiler
So it adjusts while driving.
We have driven tuned versions of this engine before.
And as stock, many times.
With rear wheel drive
it's a challenge!
There's very little grip
Quite a short car..
Most of the time you're adjusting your throttle
But this has AWD
4 wheel drive
Which works very well!
You do get Traction Control flickers
at 150km/h
And you have to judge every corner..
It still is very rear wheel drive oriented.
But it does mean you can launch at full throttle
And it just goes..
3.5s to 100 for the stock SVR
add more than 125HP to that
and it just rockets to 100
That said..
We have to limit our RPM to 5500
Because it has fresh pistons
and it already has a new owner..
So imagine going through the gears at 100%
This already is so extreme..
So everyone who has a Jaguar or Range Rover
and you want something different..
something special..
Arden is ready for you.
This interior is an example of that.
Beautiful Arden steering wheel.
very nice!
flattened bottom part
Alcantara
perforated leather
alumiunium coated textile
on the dashboard
New stitching for the seats.
Leather floor mats
They really do everything
and you can fully customize your car
Making it that much more special
Especially if you have a V8
Those Arden exhausts..
are incredible!

Interview with David Pierce from the Wall Street Journal - Duration: 22:22.
A Keep Productive production welcome to the Tools They Use podcast
Interviews with professionals about how they use apps software habits and routines every day
Hello everyone and welcome back to the tools they use podcast. It is francesco here and welcome back to another feature
So we are here with David Pierce from The Wall Street Journal. David has been
On my feeds for quite a while now
Which is sorry
No, it's good
You're coming to us from San Jose, right? Yes, my
delightfully slightly overheated apartment in San Jose
It's it's like a hot day here today. I think it's probably not even on part two where you guys are
No, it gets it gets properly hot here, but it's okay anytime you des leave
I just go to San Francisco where it's gluten now, so, oh, really?
Sir che didn't it exactly
So you you during your day work you get up to a lot of writing right at the Wall Street Journal
Maybe you could take us through sort of what an average day looks like there
sure, so I'm a personal tech columnist, which means essentially my job is to
Take this crazy
Ever-changing world of tech and help people understand it
the sort of thesis of the job is basically like a lot of things are happening all the time and
a lot of it is meaningless to you as a person and a lot of it is really important to you as a person and
It should not be your job to try and figure it out
so a lot of what I do is
like reading the weird corners of the internet to try and figure out sort of what matters and where this is actually going and then
Help translate it to real people. So I spend a lot of time
I spend a lot of time reading spend a lot of time reporting calling people and and emailing people and video chatting people
I feel like zoom which we're using right now has become a massive part of my life in the last year just
Just talking to people
so it's a lot of that and then it's a lot of I
write in Google Docs and so it's a lot of that and then working with my editors and we have a video team and we
Do graphics and so it's it's just a lot of sort of moving pieces to put together
the different parts of journalism and the weird part about
Like I I knew you were gonna ask me this and I wish I had a better answer to like what I do every day
And it turns out the only thing is it's just chaos called it
My fault or not, but kind of how it is. Yeah, but I think it's a journalist like that's naturally
Almost the state of it, isn't it?
Because this you just need to know everything at any given time and be able to sort of translate it
Yeah
it's definitely true that having plans is sort of pointless as a reporter because
The job is just sort of show up and and see what happens which is really fun
but does not lead to having things like really neat Pat pretty Terry's I'm gonna scrap all the questions at the end about like
You know mindfulness and calm me down. I have many thoughts. I don't live by any of them, but I I
Love it. I love it. And I said I guess the first sort of question would be
How do you go about managing your most important tasks for the day? Yes, there are two things that I live by
Are my calendar, which is like absolutely the most important thing that exists in my life. I don't understand how people don't have calendars
It's just wild to me, but that's where
Anything I need to do or a place
I need to be or a thing that like needs to get done lives in my calendar
So if everything in my life disappears, except my calendar, I'm still a mildly functional human being
and then the other part of it is
Frankly an ever-changing set of productivity apps right now. I'm using notion, which I know you use and like
and it's basically
Become sort of the place for everything
I used Evernote this way for a decade and it's a mix of like things. I need to get done and all the notes
I need and all the
Transcript from interviews that I've been doing and all of my research and and like it just becomes this one
sort of glob of
All of the things that I need and then the hope is just that I can find stuff when I need it
Yeah, and and the calendar app. Well, what one is that? Is that just Google Cal I switch a lot?
So Google Calendar runs it I use fantastical on the Mac and on the iPhone because the the natural language processing
for typing in something just like lunch at noon tomorrow is
Really nice. It's actually it's one of those things that
feels it feels really bad now to go back to the stock calendar app and you have to like tap in four different boxes and
Select the time and do it that stuff is just bad and then on the web Google Calendar is fine, especially with the new redesign
It's it's better looking than it used to be
I'm not actually all that picky about my calendar app as long as it's
There in front of me all the time and it works. Well, yeah, yeah
So with the notion use you have you like?
Destroyed your use of Evernote or is that completely like replaced in?
Yeah, so actually for the first time ever I have stopped using Evernote
Which it's like it was always I would use something else and then sort of inevitably end up back on
Evernote or I would use something else and Evernote and then that was too many things
So I would go back to Evernote, but for that I'd literally have not open Evernote in probably six months
It's a spooky thing, isn't it? Because it's been such like for you, but I'm known for a while
It's been such a huge part of your life. Do you find that weird? Oh
it's really weird and and the idea that there's like a decade of
my notes all the way back to you know being in school that just exists in there and I I
Don't know what will happen might be gone for all I don't know
It is weird and it's like abandoned warehouse of my stuff that I left behind somewhere. Yeah, it's like a open Locker
I love exactly and and in terms of like, you know, like you look at planning the week ahead
How do you go about doing that? Do you like start with notion and then building your
Calendar experiences. It's a little bit haphazard
Like it tends to be the things that matter the most to me are either in my email
in my calendar already because somebody has invited me or I put it there anyway, or
In notion and so basically between those three things it's a matter of just sort of triangulating what's going on
I really wanted to be a bullet journal learner for a long time
I had grand ambitions about being the sort of guy who like sits down on Sunday night and
Plans every moment of my whole week and it looks nice and my handwriting is great and I've never quite gotten there
but I've at least gotten to the point now where I can sort of sit down on a Monday morning and
Look in three places
Which is my email notion and my calendar and have a pretty good sense of kind of what is in front of me
Yeah, that's I think they're like the bullet journal thing. It looks nice, but
Practicalities, it's quite tough to pull off, isn't it?
Yeah, and it seems one thing I've always wondered and I don't know if you've ever thought about this
But I can't figure out why nobody has made a really great bullet journaling app
It seems like the sort of thing that I would want
Digitally because for me having a paper notebook is just sort of a non-starter
Like I just won't have it with me often enough to be useful. But I if I had an app that was sort of similarly
Useful and simple and I think this is part of why I like notion because you can kind of hack it to pieces to turn
It into something like a bullet journal
But I never could figure out why nobody made a good bullet journal app and it is always frustrated. I
Reckon now be a template in notion soon. Just like bullet. You might be right about that. Have you used the
What is it agenda for Mac? And iOS, is it any good? Yeah, it's it's good. I
Don't know. It's got a lot. I think I feel like it's got a long way to go in terms of like, you know
Like with every new app, but I like the concept is cool. Yeah, okay if you tried out yet
I haven't I've only like looked at screenshots
But it seems like at least sort of in spirit the closest thing to what I've been looking for for a while
I don't want to switch again. I've switched so many times. I'm trying not to do that anymore. It's got a ban on it
Exactly. I love it. So moving away from software. They will definitely come back
What sort of hardware do you use as a day-to-day stuff like phone laptop PC?
Yes, I think given the nature of my job. I probably have the least
Stable answer to that just about anybody
Let's see right now. I will tell you what I'm looking at
So I'm at home and I have I have the the huawei mate book X Pro in front of me
Which is as far as I can tell the best Windows laptop. I have a big Dell monitor
I'm talking you on a logitech webcam. I have an iPad pro next to me
I have an iPhone in an essential phone and a pixel to a hole next to me for some reason
And there's a Google pixel book over there. The point is I all of them is kind of the answer
I would say the thing that is most stable in my life. Is is the iPhone, you know
I'm also using another phone to pretty much always have an iPhone
But one thing that has I mean one thing that I think is sort of a necessity of my job
But has also changed like how I think about how I work is that I'm I just cannot be beholden to a device
because like
God only knows most of these don't belong to me
I will ship actually I will show have almost all of these back to the company that that owns them very soon
and so I have to be
sort of able to pick up on any device any computer anything at any moment and still be able to like sit down and get
work done
There must be so weird like like always like porting your experience onwards it is a little bit is it tough?
It's the toughest part is just I spent
Like a million years every week setting up new things
And logging into apps and like life before I had a password manager was way more hard way more miserable than it is now
it's much better now that I have one password, but
it is a little weird and it's it's taken some getting used to to sort of figure out the the
intricacies of all the different operating systems
but at this point I basically picked apps that work everywhere and just sort of invested life in them and
now
I'm at a point where like I can use
Again, its its email its calendar and it's notion and I can use all three of those anywhere
I have a web browser and it works pretty well. Fantastic
And what touching on email what email application do you use Gmail? Does anyone not use Gmail? I feel like
Yeah, like if you don't use Gmail, I have a lot of questions for you. Um, but no part of it is just that
the Wall Street Journal uses Gmail we use Google Drive we use Google Docs and so it's
That decision was sort of forced on me, but I wouldn't much prefer to use Gmail over and it's consistent isn't it? And
You can access it on all of those devices
The the apps wise you mentioned a few apps that you found will go cross-platform ones
What ones do you get sort of did use across your day? This is fun. Okay, let's let's play this game
so I have everyone does this they like
My home screen here
So it's a lot of Google Apps, obviously like Gmail and Chrome because it syncs bookmarks and all that stuff
And Google Docs and we use slack and we use hangouts
But I would say the in terms of like things I picked on purpose because they're cross-platform
pocket casts for podcasts
It it has a web app and it works pretty much everywhere so you can sync it
Spotify for music
Let's see. I
Use Pinterest a lot. I don't know what that has nothing to do with anything. But I really like Pinterest. Oh
It's good. Yeah, exactly and I use Google keep sort of hit-and-miss
Because I like the web app a lot more than I like the mobile app
Let's see, I think a lot of it is just I'm trying to not use iMessage which is an interesting phenomenon because
I'd like to be able to do things from more devices
so trying to get people to talk to me on things like
Facebook Messenger or whatsapp or hangouts has been an interesting challenge because it turns out nobody wants to
Like my mom just won't talk to me except on text. Yeah. Yes
Thudded channel that down there. Yeah
That's tricky and and coming back to notion a little
How would you say cuz because you discovered it about?
Was it about six to nine months ago in that sort of bracket?
Something like that. Yeah, I so I wrote about it I think in
March but I had been using it for a while and then reached out to the team to talk about it for a while
so yeah, I was probably like end of
2017 where I kind of started messing around. Yeah, and and like how would you say that it's developed
You're working like I guess I take you like end of last year
And and now how do you sort of see the difference? Yes. So the biggest problem I've always had is that
There was never one place to put things
Evernote was the closest just because it could take things like web pages and it could do two do's and it could do
long text but everyone was really bad for
Things like tables or if you need it, if you had a database of things and Evernote search wasn't very good
And so I went up with all these sort of disparate things
I used a dedicated writing app and I used a dedicated to-do list app
and I used a dedicated notes app and I used a dedicated thing just for like jumping things into I needed to find later and
It just got
messy and just sort of fell apart on me at all times because that's just that was for me at least too many things to
Check and so I didn't
Whereas with notion it's it's not the best for any individual thing that way but it does everything
Which for me has been really powerful that like I can use it
I have I have a big table in here of all the books
I want to read and I have a Trello like board of all the tasks I have and I have
you know hundreds of thousands of words of transcripts of interviews and I have
Bookmarks, and I have like it just it puts all of those things into a single place
So now it's just like anywhere
Anything I need is in notion. I don't know where it is in notion all the time
But it is in there somewhere and that just that alone
Has made it much easier for me to actually find some stuff. Yeah, that's
It's sort of like when I guess when you started Evan it write
to some extent like that the point when you start at Evan a but I
Just a question. Do you like how do you see the security side of stuff?
do you like because there's a point with every app where you
Commit to it and you put everything in do you feel like it's at that point where you like?
It's gonna be around for a couple years. I'm gonna invest my time into it. Yeah, I think
notion is
I mean in terms of like the actual security of my stuff
They're they're doing a good job and and are working with people that I trust
to make sure that that stuff is good in terms of
Whether or not they'll be around in a few years. It's if I've learned one thing doing this it's that that is dangerous
Like if you're if you're bad you go away and if you're good you get bought and then you go away
Yeah, and I don't know I it's I boy
really suck if if Newton wakes week and I had to find something else, but there are
There are no certainties I guess and that's it
yeah, and it's just I'm in a position now or it's like it's I can get it out if I need it and
Luckily with things like gdpr these companies are being forced to give us a lot more tools to get our data out when we want
to
and
Nervous goes away I
See a little bit somewhere
I'm so screwed if that happens. I know I've committed to it a lot
Like it's one of those apps that I've like gone. Okay. I feel really comfortable with this one
and this is
Like what are you not using anymore because of inertia. I'm not not using Evernote anymore
But my evident use is almost halved in the last six months like that. I'm just like
Going out just at it notion. I'll just add it in notion instead of I'll start it in Evernote. So right
Yeah, it's a really good day. Like I'm really happy with it
But yeah, I mean
Teams wise obviously used a lot of team tools
Do you and the Wall Street Journal guys use like a project manager or anything like that?
would you just stick with like your own personal tasks and
Accountability, I guess it's a mix of both. We use a lot of we do a lot of email
We do a lot of Google sheets
which which boy I hate and I
sincerely, hope my bosses listen to this and and change their minds about using Google sheets, but
We use yeah, I mean
it's it's mostly Google stuff just because it's
Those are sort of the shared apps and particularly at an organization as big as the one I work for introducing any new software at
a bigger level is just it's it's a lot of work and so we're relatively
Stable in the things that work and not trying to sort of blow that up
But I like having my own stuff separate. It's a little bit of sort of duplicate of work
I have to go make sure that the Google sheets are updated with all the stuff that I'm also doing but being able to
Sort of have weird notes that won't make any sense to anyone else and like write swear words
And I don't know just have a space. That's sort of mine
That's not just like a tab within a thing that someone else can see but is fully my own
It is actually really nice and I don't I don't know that I would change that even if I could
Brilliant and one final sort of round up question
Obviously your day is manic like being able to keep on on top of all the tech news like it must be pretty
Stressful how do you sort of take time out to?
Sort of chill out and make sure that you it's not maybe not getting on top of you
poorly, I would say because the answer no, I think what I'm what I'm learning more and more is
that it's just as important to
Do nothing on purpose as it is to do work on purpose
I used to think it's sort of ridiculous you read these like
You know mindfulness bloggers who are like you should schedule do-nothing on your calendar
I was like, oh, okay
And then I actually started scheduling
do-nothing on my calendar and it's kind of great because it's you've you sort of given yourself permission to do something that
Doesn't feel as productive and there's this
massive and growing set of research that says that lots of sleep is good for you which obviously is true and that
Being bored is good for you
and that like you physically cannot
Be all the way on all the time and that that learning to treat being off as just as important as being on
has been really important for me and so learning to do things like schedule that and and stick to it and really
like make it a part of my day in a real way to
Read a book or something like that. Like I also I really like using
habit tracking apps
I've switched around them a bunch, but I try to use them for
Exclusively non-work things where it's just like did I exercise today? Did I read a fiction book today?
Did I meditate for five minutes today? I think I have checked that off like one time in six months
Meditation is an awesome idea that I am horrendous at
But everyone should do it who isn't me?
Yeah, I think like that's the kind of stuff that putting it and and there's little things like putting that stuff on my home screen
Like I moved all the apps
I don't want to use but need around
away from my face when I unlock my phone and now I see things like the Kindle app where I'm
gonna enjoy my time more or
Netflix where it's like, okay
It's actually okay if I just sit here and watch like 30 minutes of the office instead of goofing around on Twitter again, yeah
Yeah, so like almost like a visual reminder
there's there and
Habit tracking apps. Did you have any like great ones that you like? Yeah, they're brilliant
I think I think it's just called streaks is probably my favorite one that I've used just because it makes it really really easy to
Go in and just say like yep
I did it today because their problem with those apps is for me has been even when I do something if I forget to put
It in the app and then it'll be like well, you didn't do it yesterday and that's like well
I did do it yesterday screw you and now what's the point because you're not tracking me accurately anymore. So just having that
Tool where it's really easy to just go in and I think they give you I don't know what it is
but there's some grace period to it also where it's like
It's like oh did you do it yesterday and then you're like, yeah I did. Thank you for asking and
Just little things like that. Make it a lot easier to sort of keep up with it
Which to me was what really made it powerful. I love it there
There's some gritty good healthy suggestions that our thing is it's really good the the where can everyone find you David
after listening to this podcast
the I I mean and the easiest place to find me is
Wsj.com where I write and you can also pick up the Wall Street Journal I think on Mondays is where I usually appear
But realistically the easiest place to find me is on Twitter. I'm at Pierce on Twitter and I spend altogether too much time there. I
Know I'm following you there and it but it's good
If you're a tech lover or author put all software lover because you'll get all of the great stuff there. Brilliant
yeah, me and David are now gonna grab some time actually to do a
YouTube feature all about notion
So if you want to join us for that one
You can head over to keep productive on YouTube and find us there, but for now David, thank you so much for coming on
It's been great to have you all of these apps will be available to people to download which is great
So really appreciate you taking your time up, my pleasure. Thank you for having me. Thank you. Brilliant
Thank you very much guys, and we'll see you guys very very soon for another podcast episode Cheers
Thanks for listening to the tools they use podcast a key productive production see you next time

Jodie Whittaker went on a US talk show - and Brits can't get over the subtitles - Daily News - Duration: 3:17.
When it comes to British place names, there are some very amusing ones on the list (we're looking at you Cockfosters)
Some of them are a right mouthful and some of them aren't even pronounced the same way they are written
But when it comes to places like Huddersfield, you'd think the spelling would be pretty straightforward
But one American late-night TV show proved that for anyone outside the UK it's not actually as simple as you would think - with hilarious consequences
Yorkshire actress Jodie Whittaker made her first appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Thursday evening and it seems the person responsible for the show's subtitles got a little confused
While talking about her roots, Jodie told the show's host that she's from "Huddersfield in West Yorkshire"
But what viewers saw on the screen was "I am from Hoodezfield in West Yorkshire
" And people on social media think the mistake is absolutely hilarious. One person commented: "A valiant attempt by the American subtitler
" A second wrote: "Bless US caption people." "The Z is a nice touch; bold, but nice," posted a third
A fourth added: "I am proud to be from Hoodezfield like Jodie!" Members of the local police and fire service in Huddersfield also got in on the joke
BTP West Yorkshire tweeted a screengrab of the subtitles and captioned it with "We are really proud to police the rail network in Hoodezfield!!!!" DCFO Dave Walton, with the West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service, also said: "Proud to be part of WYFRS- the Fire & Rescue Service that keeps Hoodezfield safe
" All of the tweets have garnered hundreds of likes in just a few hours. Read More Doctor Who 2018 During her appearance on The Late Show, Jodie also poked fun at her Yorkshire accent, telling Stephen she had a completely "neutral" voice and you'd never be able to tell where she was from
To which the host replied that he "loved" the Yorkshire accent. The 36-year-old also discussed becoming the first female Doctor on Doctor Who and how she had to discreetly speak about her lead role using code words before it had been announced to the public

Tastes of Home: Augustine's pike mousse and pearl barley risotto - Duration: 3:14.
So I decided to open my own restaurant Augustine
named after my grandmother
who was an excellent cook.
Today I'm going to make one of my grandmother's dishes.
Pike mousse and pearl barley risotto.
I'm going make this version lighter than the original recipe.
So we will start by prepping the vegetables
Sweating the aromatic vegetables
diced fennel, celery, onion, leek, garlic
with some fat
I add in the crayfish once the veg are sweating properly.
I deglaze the pan with a little white wine to flambé.
I add cream, salt, pepper
and a pinch of saffron and let the mixture simmer
for ten minutes before I remove the crayfish.
I transfer the mixture together with the crayfish heads into a food processor to blend before straining into another pan.
Now I'm going to prepare the garnish, which is a pearl barley risotto.
First I sweat some diced shallots in a pan
and deglaze with some white wine before adding the pearl barley in to cook.
I add a piece of lemon rind to taste.
I present the dish on a plate with the risotto at the bottom of the pike mousse
and arrange pieces of crayfish around it
and pour the crayfish sauce over and around it.
I finish the dish with herbs and fried parsnips for texture.

Crystalz - Sen sulu | QPOP REACTION || Andreea [ENG CC] - Duration: 4:50.
Hello everyone! I'm Andreea and welcome back to my channel
It's been a while since I did my last reaction
And yesterday someone asked me to react to the new mv of a girl called Crystalz (sorry, I didn't know they were a group)
It's another reaction to kazakh music, so it's qpop
I've been liking what I've listened of it until now so I hope I end up liking this song too
I've lost practice doing reactions so I don't know if this reaction is going to be interesting
But since it's a request, I'm going to do it so... let's go with the reaction
Crystalz - Sen Sulu
Ah, they're a girl group!
I like her voice
It's a bit husky
She also has an interesting voice
And she's beautiful
Both are beautiful
I like it
They're trying to seduce me
They're 4 girls or the other two are just dancers?
Since the haven't sung yet, I have no idea
Okay, they're 4 girls
wow, okay
Her highlight
They're super badass
Pink bath water
Just there
What's with this seduction?
Now she's cute
And again sexy
I don't know, but I'm fan of this woman
She has me in love already
Can you tell me what does the song mean?
What are they saying, and stuff
They're real divas, right?
Total conquerors
Girl power
I haven't seen any other girlgroup until now and I really liked them, they're such divas
The song is really good, catchy, has a nice rhythm and they all sing very good
I don't know what to say, but I liked it a lot
Since I'm used to kpop groups, which usually have more cute concepts
And really few ones have these powerful and sexy concepts
Because, unfortunately, in Korea everything that's sexy gets banned
Or what's not "suitable for children"
The song is really good, and I'm going to save it, how not
I'm starting to be a fan of qpop
omg...
Where I've gotten into
Since it's very hard for me to find info about these qpop groups
I'd like you to tell me more about them in the comments, If you know more
I'd like to know their names, their group story, and whatever you can tell me about them
Last time you requested me a lot of songs, but they were all blocked worldwide and I can't upload them
It's not that I'm not making the videos because I don't want to, but because Youtube don't let me
But anyways, recommend me more songs in the comments section
Hit the "Like" button if you liked it, subscribe if you aren't already
And see you next time!

700HP Jaguar F Type SVR ARDEN Review by AutoTopNL (English Subtitles) - Duration: 7:35.
Today we start
with a thank you!
This car
the AJ23 RaceCat by Arden
has been sold
And still we can drive it!
And that's because the new owner
has given us permission to drive this.
so THANKS!
to the owner, if he/she is watching.
You're going to have a lot of fun!
There's a very small group
just a narrow line
who think
that the SVR's of Jaguar Land Rover
should be wilder.
louder.
faster.
That's the group Arden likes to focus on.
Which is why today we drive this F Type SVR
with 703HP and 873NM
And an exhaust..
I would say top 5 in our 8 years
most loud exhausts
most dirty sound!
raw..
My god!
Tunnel!
We knew it was here..
It's SO loud!
The stock SVR is not a gentle car
575HP and 700NM
from that 5.0 V8 Supercharged
Jaguar Land Rover engine
one of our favourites!
What have they done to it?
a Supercharger upgrade
Carbon Air intake
software is different
Forged pistons
and an exhaust
adding up to 703HP
It's insane
Just like the exterior
When this approaches..
from the front especially
without the license plate..
It's a new Arden grill
All black
It just looks so agressive!
It also has Carbon winglets
Carbon sideskirts
Carbon diffuser
Winglets at the back
and a Carbon spoiler
But that's from SVR
an optional extra..
It's an active spoiler
So it adjusts while driving.
We have driven tuned versions of this engine before.
And as stock, many times.
With rear wheel drive
it's a challenge!
There's very little grip
Quite a short car..
Most of the time you're adjusting your throttle
But this has AWD
4 wheel drive
Which works very well!
You do get Traction Control flickers
at 150km/h
And you have to judge every corner..
It still is very rear wheel drive oriented.
But it does mean you can launch at full throttle
And it just goes..
3.5s to 100 for the stock SVR
add more than 125HP to that
and it just rockets to 100
That said..
We have to limit our RPM to 5500
Because it has fresh pistons
and it already has a new owner..
So imagine going through the gears at 100%
This already is so extreme..
So everyone who has a Jaguar or Range Rover
and you want something different..
something special..
Arden is ready for you.
This interior is an example of that.
Beautiful Arden steering wheel.
very nice!
flattened bottom part
Alcantara
perforated leather
alumiunium coated textile
on the dashboard
New stitching for the seats.
Leather floor mats
They really do everything
and you can fully customize your car
Making it that much more special
Especially if you have a V8
Those Arden exhausts..
are incredible!
