Cos'è successo esattamente in puntata?

Clare Jones: Rethinking Navigation | EQ Night Lisbon 2018 - Duration: 1:55.
I'm Clare Jones, I'm from what3words.
Our mission is to become a global addressing standard.
We're using an addressing system that was designed a few hundred years ago
with new technology – and that doesn't work.
People get lost a lot, because there's no global addressing system.
There should be a better way than this.
So we divided the world into a grid of 57 trillion squares.
Each square is 3 metres by 3 metres and every single square
has been assigned an address made of three words from the dictionary.
what3words is the simplest way to talk about location.
For example, tonight I'm going to an EQ night
and the team sent me an invitation and on that invitation
was the three-word address of the front door.
Which is "exchanges.events.giggle".
It's really important to me to work on something that I really believe in
and I believe this is going to have a significant social impact.
I love the idea that technology can be used to improve lives.
what3words is a great example of that.
It's used around the world in places where people maybe don't have formal addresses.
They might have never been able to tell someone where they live
and this is meant that everybody has an address, wherever they are in the world
and they can use just three words to get somebody or something to come to them.
I really enjoy going to the EQ nights,
because I think it's really important to work in communities to solve problems
and it's really important that businesses work with a community of people
who are working together to make the world a more efficient
and less frustrating and a safer place.
And that's really important for us at what3words.

The Truth About Hybrid Cars - Duration: 2:51.
before I started my youtube channel eleven years ago I used to do a TV gig
yes it was called crank it up here's one of my old shirts, don't make fun of the
name, I did that on CBS TV for a couple of decades and people are saying, Scotty
whatever happened to those old videos you did, well I dug around on my messy garage
and found a bunch of these old videos, so here's some old school Scotty, are you
looking for an alternative mode of transportation
if you're looking for something more practical than balloons tied to a lawn
chair hey I can show you something with a push of a button, and I do mean with
just a push of a button, I'm sitting in a Toyota Prius hybrid synergy drive car it
has both a gasoline motor and an electric motor, I've turned the car on but you
don't hear anything because it's running on the electric motor which makes no
sound at all, you notice some things are different, the gearshift is electronic
and only has reverse neutral and drive, the transmission is extremely smooth
because it never shifts gears it doesn't have any, it's a new kind of
transmission called constantly variable transmission, and speaking of
acceleration, you might think a little car like this doesn't have much
acceleration, watch this you'll have no problem accelerating into
traffic and that's because of the electric motor, this electric motor can
put out the same amount of torque as a v8 engine, which gives you a lot of
acceleration, now it does have a conventional smaller four-cylinder gas
engine, but also has a huge electric motor, now the gas engine doesn't have to
be running all the time because voila there's a huge battery in the back of
this vehicle, now because of all this technology the car is going to be a
little more expensive, but look at the gas mileage, look at this in the city you
live at 60 miles a gallon and 51 on the highway and here's why, in the city it
uses the electric motor more, but on the highway it has to use the gasoline
motor so it burns more gas, now they've sold over 200,000 of these so far, but
you still have to special order them to get one, so if you're looking for a safe
alternative form of transportation forget the balloons, why don't you try a
hybrid car instead this isScotty Kilmer helping you crank it
up, alright thank you Mr.Hybrid, so if you never want to miss another one of my
new car repair videos, remember to ring that Bell!

L'AVANT BIG-BANG - Duration: 15:48.
The application of string theory to cosmology suggests that the Big Bang does not
is not the beginning of the Universe, but the culmination of a previous cosmic state.
The Big Bang is synonymous with expansion of the universe, according to various theories,
could thus retract and expand continuously. Just like life and
degeneration is very real and perpetuates itself.
A before Big Bang would have existed, before spreading, the cosmos would have
been ... at one point, retracted ... Before scientists come to the
question, it was first necessary that they take aware that the Universe has a story.
It is only from 1915 that relativity general offered them the theoretical possibility
to describe the Universe as a whole. General relativity, however, brings
plus a new conception of space and time, in which gravitation becomes
a geometric property of space-time. In other words, the geometry of space-time
depends on the mass distribution and, because of the mass-energy equivalence,
energy flows.
However, the idea of a beginning does not the end of the 1920s, then
that the big bang theory emerges. It was not until the 1980s that appeared
the first conceptual tools that can envision the before-big bang.
Is the Big Bang the beginning of time, where did the Universe exist before? There is less
ten years, such a question would have the appearance of sacrilege. For cosmologists,
such a questioning simply did not no Sens. Imagine an earlier era
at the Big Bang, it was like looking for a point north of the North Pole. According to the theory of
general relativity, an expanding Universe must have started with a Big Bang, which
implies the finiteness of time, appeared simultaneously with space and energy-matter.
This view changed during in recent years. At birth,
the Universe was concentrated in one region so tiny that the laws of quantum physics
had to apply to it. General relativity, which is not a quantum theory, stops
to be valid at the scale of the Big Bang.
The recent desire to take into account what could have happened before the origin
of the Universe is only the latest intellectual turnarounds that occurred
succeeded for millennia. In all cultures, philosophers and theologians
were faced with the question of the beginning times and the origin of the world. Our
"Family tree" goes through the first forms of life, the formation of stars,
the synthesis of the first elements and goes back up to the energy that was bathing the space
paramount. Does he go on forever or does it take root somewhere? The philosophers
Greeks have long debated the origin time. Aristotle defended the absence of
beginning by invoking the principle according to which nothing springs from nothing. If the Universe
can not be born from nothing, he must have always existed. The time should expand
eternally in the past as in the future. Christian theologians have defended
the opposite point of view. St. Augustine affirmed that God exists outside of space and
time and that he is able to create them as he forged the other aspects of the world. that
then did God before creating the world ? According to St. Augustine, time itself
part of the divine creation he There was simply no before. However,
it is clear today that our days of 24:00 are well a landmark created by man
to be between day and night following the rotation of the Earth.
Another paradox of the big bang, he is the only one means of ordering rationally all
knowledge that we have amassed on the universe and its history, and it is confirmed
by the most recent observations. But it is very difficult to "visualize".
What, on the other hand, makes it a land of choice for research and
curious minds. And this, no doubt, for still many, many years.
Observations of astronomer Edwin Hubble have demonstrated that the universe is in motion.
Galaxies are moving away from each other (we now know that their speed of removal
constantly increases, results in the paradox of fermi).
The universe is expanding. And if he grows up, so it was smaller by the
past. Going back in time, we can think that at one point the whole cosmos was
concentrated in one point. It is estimated today that it was 13.7 billion years ago.
The moment zero is inaccessible ... Mathematicians, Physicists, Astrophysicists
went to work developing equations and models. Einstein, the creator of
the theory of general relativity, has refined the equations governing the properties
physico-geometric universe. Alexander Friedmann has developed non-static solutions
of these equations and describes the variation of space, by also proposing
its possible beginning in a "singularity". In 1965, two young radio astronomers have fun
to record the "noises" of the universe.
And they discover a radio broadcast background present in all directions of the
celestial vault (which will be worth the price Nobel in 1978). For example, it represents
1% of the "snow" on the screens of television. This tiny radio whisper is
a fossil radiation of the cosmos that corresponds to what would have happened 380 000 years after
the big bang. This is the "first cry" of the universe. In 1992, the Cobe satellite (Cosmic
background explorer) proves that the temperature of this radiation varies very slightly in
function of his place in the universe as predicted the theory, and draws a first
map of these variations. In 2008, the satellite European Planck will go to scrutinize him even more
precisely, its instruments can detect variations to one millionth of a degree (ten
times better than previous instruments). At the time of the big bang, the material we
know today did not exist. We think the universe was then a fog
very hot particles. Atoms, let alone the molecules were not yet formed.
The first to form will be three minutes after the start of the expansion, say
the equations. The problem for scientists is that more
we are getting closer to the zero point, the less we can know what's going on. Moreover, some
support, a little maliciously, that he there is no zero moment. The more we go back
in time, the smaller the universe. But its dimension is never zero. The moment
zero is therefore inaccessible. Proving that it does not exist.
This brings water to the mill of those who maintain that before the beginning of the phase
Expansion of the universe, there is ... nothing. Time has not even begun to flow.
But nothing in the infinite cosmos is already Something.
We just do not know how the to describe. A theory, a bit of a loss
speed today, saw the universe engaged in an everlasting cycle alternating expansion
and shrinkage. It would swell up a certain point and then deflate for
shrivel in one point until the moment where a new big bang would do it again
grow. But when would this cycle have begun? The idea of a "reversed universe"
is not new. Several space-time models inverted have already been proposed in the
purpose of describing a potential earlier era at the Big Bang. However, until now,
these models offered no solution satisfactory to the problem of singularity
initial, merely describing a space-time beyond this singularity.
In addition, unlike some models of universe, this one does not modify the relativity
General. "We do not introduce any new principle nor any changes to
the theory of general relativity of Einstein - we simply reinterpret the equations
related to the components of space-time ".. Many developments are still needed
to identify and clarify correctly this new model but that this one could have
profound consequences on symmetry particles and on the potential existence
of a universe initially made up of antimatter.
According to Albert Einstein's general relativity, space and time form a continuum
space-time that undergoes curvatures caused by the distribution of energy, had explained Mr. Hawking.
He considered that the Euclidean approach must be applied to quantum gravity
to explain the appearance of the Universe. This approach makes it possible to replace the time
real by the imaginary time that behaves as the fourth dimension of space,
said the physicist. "If we stick to Euclid's approach,
the history of the universe in imaginary time is a curved surface with four dimensions
like the surface of the Earth, "had added M.Hawking.
So, according to him, the beginning of the Universe can to be compared to a point such as the pole
South of the Earth. "There is nothing south of the South Pole, so
he had nothing before the Big Bang, "had concluded Stephen Hawking.
Henceforth, the theory in progress for several decades, which is called the standard model
is validated: the Universe is born of a fantastic original explosion
Already, we must not confuse origin and beginning. Origin is what
that we exist here and now; these are the foundations. The beginning, him,
fits in time and space; It's the starting point. It is this beginning
which escapes scientists.
WHAT YOU MUST REMEMBER Infinite universe, flat and expanding seems
destined to remain so for eternity. Roger Penrose has shown that it could be otherwise.
His compliant cyclical cosmology model (CCC). This one describes a universe forever
expanding and, paradoxically, with a number Infinity of Big Bangs.
Roger Penrose thinks his model is perhaps testable thanks to the gravitational wave background,
which could contain the waves emitted by particles of dark matter, whose existence
would flow from his model. These waves did not not detected yet.
Two other predictions concern the effects fossils of the gravitational waves produced
by mergers of the last supermassive black holes in the galaxy clusters of the previous
era of the universe and the effects of their evaporation final by Hawking radiation.
The first ones would give concentric circles of temperature anomalies and the second
other anomalies of the fossil radiation in the center of these circles.
Imagine that we live in a universe flat of infinite size, represented by a
plan extending to infinity. This plan, diagram of infinite space-time that describes all the
space-time events on a date given, can be mapped
with a sphere of finite size. Like a balloon that would inflate to infinity.
The material in the balloon of this example, would be heading towards its ends making it
at a given moment time, empty in its hollow ... Galaxies will not stop moving away
from each other and every part of the Universe will find himself one day in the void and the night
infinite.
This mutual spacing, which one could take for a movement of galaxies in
space, is actually interpreted by a swelling of the space itself, the objects
heavenly being thus led away one another. On a smaller scale,
expansion does not affect the size of galaxies themselves, the "inner" gravity having
a predominant effect. The immediate consequence of the expansion of the Universe is that this one
was once denser and therefore more hot. The concept of the Big Bang, which is based
on the idea that such a dense and hot has actually existed, flows from it
naturally and can therefore be considered as established.
From a theoretical point of view, the expansion of the Universe is contained in the models from
of general relativity describing the Universe in general. The expansion of the Universe
is manifested by the observation of a recession (remoteness) apparent of astrophysical objects
distant. If we can not detect moving their position or size
apparent, because the phenomenon of remoteness is fortunately for us ... very slow to
the human scale. Although it has been studied since the beginning
of the 20th century, the expansion of the universe has not yet delivered all its secrets.
To add complexity to the phenomenon, it accelerates. The current rate of expansion
- the speed of expansion somehow - is given by the Hubble constant denoted H0 and
expressed in (km / s) / Mpc (megaparsec). Thus, over very large distances, the expansion
of the universe can unfold at speeds greater than that of light in
the void. Light, source of life, tools of calculation and displacement, instrument of
measurement and detection, original and beloved by religions, necessary for the living
for their senses, landmarks, rhythms of life, photosynthesis, triggering energy

Chelsea transfer news: Harry Redknapp delivers worrying Gonzalo Higuain verdict - Duration: 2:35.
That's according to former Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp. Maurizio Sarri is desperate to bring in a new frontman this month to fix his side's goalscoring woes
Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud have struggled for regular form this term and Sarri is keen to ease the burden on top scorer Eden Hazard
The Italian worked with Higuain at Napoli and Chelsea have reportedly structured a deal to bring the striker to Stamford Bridge until the end of the season
Higuain was loaned to AC Milan at the beginning of the season following the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo
But Milan have agreed to cancel his spell at the San Siro and are instead looking to bring in Krzysztof Piatek from Genoa
Higuain spent two full seasons at Juve, scoring 55 goals before this season. However, Redknapp believes they may be happy to lose him because they think he's past his best
"You'd think it'd be good news but why have Juventus let him go out on loan?" he asked on Saturday Morning Savage
"Is there a reasoning behind it? I don't know. "If he's that good still and he has that much to offer, why would a club like Juventus, who are looking to win the Champions League and who will win Serie A like they normally do, why would you let him go out on loan to Milan? "The manager of Juventus is a very clever guy
"There must be a reason you let him go. You must think 'well, he must have gone a bit'
" Higuain is expected to finalise his move next week and will not be in attendance this evening as Chelsea visit Arsenal
The Blues are currently fourth in the Premier League, six points clear of their fifth-placed rivals
Tonight's game kicks off at 5.30pm.

Stories: Episode 3 - Paleo FX - Duration: 5:08.
Not a bad way to prepare for a speech.
I'm excited...
and oxiginated.
Welcome to Paleo FX.
So I'm here at Paleo Fx - First Panel on Decentralized Systems.
Now it's time to hit the stage.
The solution is to buy local.
Buy from your local farmer. Know your local farmer.
Participate by interacting with the people in your community.
And there's no doubt about the fact that local currencies
blockchain technology will actually create mini tribes.
What's really happening is that there is a movement.
There's a movement of people paying attention
to how they feel and what they want to create for themselves in their life.
How they want to show up in the world and asking themselves the tough question:
Is this me?
You see, that question for me changed my life and
being able to step into a space,
even a space like this,
allows me the opportunity to kind of watch this movement flourish.
So coming up on the stage, speaking of Paleo FX, it's all part of growing the movement.
It's all the investments that allow me and people like you
to participate in this movement.
These are the events where you can meet those people
where you can find that community and make this stuff happen.
So, super excited, super humbled to be on that stage, at such a large event.
And I feel like this is just the beginning.
I feel like the crowds are only going to get bigger.
Well - preparing for the presentation.
Just going over the last little bits before hitting the stage,
before this audience is filled with people - VIPs.
And I cannot be more excited to teach people how to build movements,
tell them stories, get them inspired and watch as the Paleo movement,
as their health movement, as their ideas grow and reach millions.
And hopefully, this helps build their own movements.
I wanted to be able to spread Freedom Culture
to many people.
But I wanted to empower and encourage all individuals
to spread their unique gifts to the world.
And what that required was that this wasn't a movement about me.
It was movement about we.
It was a great speech, but my work isn't over.
You have to continue to put in work.
This event is an opportunity.
An opportunity for people like you to show up and meet people,
connect with people, but not only connect with them
but really find ways to actually work with them.
So, now onto the interview.
So at the end of the day here, on Day 1 at Paleo FX,
and we're ending the night with a great VIP dinner.
Now, if you're attending an event,
be sure to get yourself a VIP pass.
It's cause you can get that one on one time with all the influencers
and all the speakers,
who are generally on the stages.
Because the best time to strike a deal is over dinner and a cocktail.
Now for the big stage!
Billa-Pooff-Coffee-keynote!
Panel on permaculture! Community! Make it happen!
So you might be wondering, how does somebody like you get here?
How did I get onto the stage?
And how is it that I am able to kind of hop around world and do all of these things
and inspired people with only my message?
And here's the truth.
All I'm doing is following my bliss.
All I'm doing is expressing passion.
All I'm doing is showing up and investing in myself,
to get to these places in the first place.
Build relationships and eventually,
grant myself the opportunity just via what I'm passionate about.
You see, each and everyone of you who is listening to this
is passionate about something.
And I truly believe that you can make a living doing that.
And all you need to do is start amplifying your message around it.
You need to build your brand and your business ideas around your passion
and have people participate in just hearing you express it.
Having people engage with it, having people be inspired by you.
You see, each and every day you're voting with your attention.
And you're giving me your attentionn right now.
And in giving me your attention, you are absorbing my passion,
And you're finding new found passion for something that's inspiring something in you.
Now imagine you did the exact same thing.
That's what Superhero Academy is all about.
We teach people how they can build a brand, a business, an idea, a project, a non-profit
around their passion.
I feel like the movement is growing.
Eco-villages, communities, social entrepreneurship is all on the rise.
And I cannot wait to watch it continue to explode.
Well! On to the next event.
