Hey guys!
If you found this video welcome to my first ever youtube video
I've been thinking about doing this for months now and
daydreaming about it
and I'm so excited to be doing this.
I have a lot to learn so you know
give a girl a break!
But I decided to do this valentines day smokey halo look
for all you single ladies (or gents) that need a man
or all you ladies that have a man
and want to make yourself look pretty.
But anyways if you want to see how to get this look
Please keep on watching!
So today I'm gonna start with my brows
For my eyebrows I'm gonna use the
Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer
I'm just gonna go in and fill in any
sparse areas since my eyebrows are already naturally thick
Next I like to cut the brow with the
tarte shape tape concealer.
The color I use is fair beige,
its a little pale for me and almost looks white
on my skin,
But it really helps, to really highlight the brow bone
and make it stand out.
Then I just take this little beauty blender and blend that out.
So admittedly it looks a little pale on my skin but
I haven't gone in with foundation yet
So once I go in with my foundation
It wont look as white but it will still bring out my brow bone.
So always prime my eyes with the Urban Decay Primer Potion
This is the original one.
So for today's valentines day look I'm gonna use
the Violet Voss Pro Holy Grail Pallet
They restocked this at Rickis recently
and I had to get it because I got the Laura Lee Pallet
and I loved the shadows in it.
So this is the packaging,
Its a little lighter than the Laura Lee Pallet
But still very sturdy
These shades are so beautiful.
I love their foiled shadows,
This is toffee
(Look at that shit man)
For real
So I'm gonna go in with the perfectly named transition shade called transition
I like to bring the shadows high towards my brow bone because
when I open my eyes
especially when I wear lashes
a lot of the time a lot of the eye shadow work gets lost.
Next to deepen up the crease a little I'm gonna go in with brownie points.
Since I'm doing a halo eye for this Valentis Day look
I'm gonna go in with a pencil brush to be more precise
and the blend it out after
I'm going into the shade Wine n Dine
Then just to add a little shine I'm gonna go
in with cranberry splash over it.
Then in the center of the lid I'm
gonna go in with So Jelly.
Then in the center of the eye
I'm gonna go in with Inglot AMC Pure Pigment
In shade 111.
Since this shade is glittery and loose
I'm gonna spray my brush with MAC Fix +
I'm just gonna curl my lashes and
and apply my favorite Benefit Roller Lash Mascara
For lashes I'm gonna go in with the
Violet Voss Eye Donut Care
For my face primer I'm gonna go in with
the Farsali Unicorn Tears
I believe its unicorn essence now
but has a bunch of anti oxidants in it, its really good
for your skin and it also makes a great primer.
As a nice base that gives a little glow
I like to go in with Melanie Mills Gleam body radiance
This is the Sonjdra Deluxe colab,
its called peach deluxe
and its such pretty color
For foundation I'm gonna go in with the
Makeup Forever Ultra HD liquid foundation
Then I'm gonna use this 3DHD kabuki brush from Sigma to bled it out.
For concealer I feel like I shouldn't even say it
everyone is using it
and it is the...
take a guess...
tarte shape tape!
Then I'm gonna take the 3DHD Percision Brush
and blend that out
Then to make it seamless
I like to go in with a damp beauty blender.
For contour I like to go in with the Smashbox Step by Step
contour stick, this is in the shade contour.
It comes in a trio with a
highlight and a bronzing shade
but I only use the contour shade
For nose contour,
I think where people go wrong is,
that they dont connect it to the brow bone
when as you can see there is already a natural shadow
that goes into my brow bonw
so I just want to emphasize that
and that's why I'm using the contour.
Something I've been doing recently
is I just draw a line right here
and it make my nose look more...
button-ie and
makes the bulb looks smaller
Gotta contour this 5 head
Gonna bring it down...
because I dont like the size of my forehead.
To blend my contour out, I'm just gonna be using
this oval brush
To really blend that nose contour
I'm gonna go in with a little beauty blender
To contour my cheeks I'm gonna go in with
the Butter Bronzer from Physicians Formula
and this duo fiber brush.
For blush I'm gonna go in with this sculpting blush from Makeup Forever
And for my favorite part... Highlighter!
So I'm gonna go in with some Laura Geller Gilded Honey
And to stick with this valentines day theme
I'm gonna go in with the pink highlighter in
the Makeup Geek x Kathleen Lights Pallet
And last for the lips I'm gonna go in with the
Kylie lip Kit in Candy K
And then I'm gonna take the Jouer Lip Creme in Praline
and just put it in the center of my lip.
And finally I'm just gonna set it with the Makeup Decay (Urban Decay lol)
all nighter setting spray
So this is the final look,
thank you for watching my first ever video,
I promise to be uploading a lot more
I'm so excited to be finally doing this
so please be sure to SUBSCRIBE, LIKE, and GET AERTED with that bell.
