Welcome to the YouTube channel of the School of Feedback Guitar.

In this video, I'm going to show you the easiest way to tune a guitar.

This tutorial is for absolute beginners and it is given a 0/10 difficulty rating.

Before we jump in, don't forget to subscribe to this channel if you dig this video, and

if you're already subscribed, thank you!

To tune a guitar, you'll first need to get a guitar tuning application.

In this video, I will demonstrate using GuitarTuna for iOS, which allows you to pick the string

you want to tune.

If you're viewing this video many years in the future and you can't find GuitarTuna,

find an tuner that requires you to pick the string you want to tune, and the rest of this

tutorial will be useful.

Second, you don't need to memorize the names of the strings to tune your guitar using the

method I'm presenting in this video.

If you like playing guitar, you'll memorize the names of the strings naturally, in time.

Third: Do not continually tune a string tighter.

It will snap on you!

Okay, now let's jump into the app and let's get started with the absolute easiest way

to tune a guitar.

As you can see on the GuitarTuna app, there is a headstock of a guitar.

The headstock is where the tuning pegs are located.

Press the low E string box on the app, like this.

GuitarTuna is now set to tune the low E string, which is the thickest string.

If I were to try to tune any other string right now, my guitar wouldn't be in tune.

By pressing this box, you're assuring that you'll be tuning only to this note.

This is very important.

Now, on your guitar, the low E string corresponds to the tuning peg that is closest to your

face [point to this tuning peg].

Grab this tuning peg right now, and get ready to turn it.

We're about to tune your first guitar string.

GuitarTuna will tell you if your string is too low or too high in pitch, but it's up

to you to adjust it to be right in the middle.

Also, if you get this string in tune, GuitarTuna will make a wonderful congratulatory sound.

So, play the string with a guitar pick over and over and turn the tuning peg of your low

E string until GuitarTuna gives you that congratulatory sound...

Now, select the A string on the app, move to the next tuning peg on your guitar, and

repeat the process...

Okay, let's do the D string...

Finding the tuning peg for the G string confuses some beginners at first.

If you're playing an acoustic guitar, it is the peg that is farthest away from your face.

Now, let's tune the G string...

Okay now let's do the B string... and now, the high E string...

And there you have it.

Of course, it couldn't hurt you to do this whole process one more time, just to make

sure.

I tune my guitar each time I start practicing or playing, and I would recommend for you

to get into that habit too.

Now, if you're having some trouble, there are three tips I'd like to share with you.

Number one: Try bringing your tuner within a foot from your guitar.

Number two: Try using a guitar pick.

It'll make your string louder and more defined.

Number three: Go to a quiet room to tune your guitar with this or any guitar tuning app,

unless you have a device that you can plug into, like a guitar tuning pedal.

Alright!

Brooklyn judge tosses out motions from FIFA officials hoping to dodge corruption charges - Duration: 1:32.

A Brooklyn Federal judge gave the boot to motions from a pair of international soccer officials seeking to escape charges in the FIFA corruption case.

Lawyers for Juan Angel Napout of Paraguay and Jose Maria Marin of Brazil asked Federal Court Judge Pamela K. Chen to toss out some counts in the racketeering case against the two men.

But Chen, in 22-page ruling issued Friday, gave a red card to the defense with her decision.

In the case of Marin, the former president of the Brazilian Football Confederation, Chen rejected a motion to toss a charge added in a superseding indictment in the wide-ranging case.

"As the parties agree, to allege a defendant's involvement in a RICO conspiracy, an indictment need allege only that a defendant agreed to 'further the general criminal objective of a jointly undertaken scheme,'" Chen wrote.

Juan Angel Napout was denied when he asked a judge to drop all charges against him.

The 57-year-old Napout, who resigned as the head of South America's governing soccer body in December 2015, more ambitiously asked Chen to toss all the charges against him.

But Chen shot down his claim that the charges brought by the Brooklyn prosecutors were impermissible applications of the federal RICO law in foreign countries.

"The superseding indictment more than adequately establishes Napout's involvement in a conspiracy to commit a ... violation of the wire fraud statute," wrote Chen.

Prosecutors laid out a tale of bribes, kickbacks and conspiracies over decades in their investigation of the world's No. 1 sport.

Arkema 3 Mini 6.50 prototype: An unusual boat - Duration: 8:02.

A boat, I think, is the best dream machine there is.

The ideal boat is a boat that works well, is beautiful and above all reliable.

For me, a boat is really a concentrate of technologies that enables me to sail across the seas as fast as I can.

The ideal boat, for me, is a boat that performs well and is reliable.

With Arkema, we devised and designed the construction of a boat in which we would put

all the technologies related to the composite materials produced by Arkema.

The "Mini" is a new milestone in sponsorship that was quite original from the start,

as the story goes back to the construction of the Lalou Multi trimaran

which already featured Arkema's products,

a blend of sturdiness, flexibility and reliability.

Launching boats in the water, putting people onboard,

inventing stuff, trying stuff and succeeding, that makes me dream.

With Romaric Neyhousser, the boat's architect, and Lalou we spoke a lot about the mini,

the design, but also the competition there was, what we could tweak to meet the latest specification requirements.

This is innovation at the service of performance, because this is what we are looking for.

That's what we're all interested in. What we're creating is a racing boat.

On the Mini, we have the Elium® resin, a recyclable thermoplastic acrylic resin.

This was the first time a recyclable resin was going to be used on a racing boat.

The first surprise was to be given the chance, the second was to make it work.

We took our time, it was a genuine joint development, we ran it like a research and development project.

I think that with this resin and its application, it's the ultimate expression of the partnership between Arkema and Lalou Multi.

I was there for the infusion of the hull and the team had managed to control all the paramaters that really mattered.

Everything really went extremely well, but until you have taken it out of the mould and seen the composite,

until you have given it a few taps, you can never be sure.

And when the boat was out of the mould, I came to have a look

and we were all reassured once and for all on the quality of the hull's composite.

We have the Bostik adhesives, the structural adhesives that we had already tried and tested on the trimaran.

We also have the ShieldUp® which is a PMMA sheet with high impact strength,

which had also been used on the trimaran and was used again on the Mini.

What matters in our approach, and it was the case with this boat,

is to bring solutions that designers can work with and imagine in their own way.

Why not try to push innovation beyond the materials

towards a boat that is innovative in the way you imagine it, in the way it moves and sails across the seas.

And then, taking part in the construction, I really wanted to be involved,

because of my studies and also after following the construction of the trimaran.

I was in combined work and study training, so I missed some of it.

Now, being able to follow almost everything, except for the two months of the transat race, was extremely interesting

and now I know my boat inside out,

and if I was to let someone sail it, I think they would have trouble sailing out of the harbour.

We had a good feeling that Quentin was the right person to take this project on board:

being the skipper of this boat of course, fine-tuning it, but also being involved with a large group like Arkema.

We made our choices more or less together at the beginning, broadly speaking, on what we were going to fit and not fit on that boat.

Lalou always followed me in this project maybe because he would have dreamed of building this boat for himself,

and then maybe because for me, this is exactly the boat I would have built for myself.

To start from a blank sheet and end up with a boat being launched in the water,

well, these are intense moments, no doubt about it!

This is the first boat dedicated to me and there are very few people in ocean racing who are lucky enough to be in this position.

We all let ourselves get carried away by a kind of a dream of the ultimate boat.

We have installed quite a few innovations on board and it's super interesting for Lalou Multi, for Arkema, but also for the Mini Class.

The foils, which we thought was rather obvious as Romaric works a lot on foils in particular on the Imocas.

I chose the solution of tilting foils, which meant we could devise a more multipurpose solution for the foils.

The idea behind the foils was to reduce the weight of the boat and build a boat that could actually fly in ideal conditions,

but absolutely not all the time.

Ours is the first mini to have foils which will be wider than 3m once spread out,

so the boat will be up to 6.3m approximately.

In favourable conditions for the foils, although we have no photo, it goes really fast.

Then came choosing the wing.

We tried to weigh the pros and cons, what it meant in terms of development and costs.

The main idea in all this is to break new ground that hasn't been explored yet.

And the outcome is a telescopic aircraft wing when you are out at sea,

and today ours is the first boat to be sailing with a telescopic wing.

We explore and this took some exploration with the same determination

as Arkema's desire to explore areas that we believe are innovative.

With this round bow, we put a rail at the front, and we turned the stay and the bowsprit around,

which means the bowsprit can be retracted inside the boat and no longer alongside as with all other boats.

Finally, we had the lift rudders with the lifting foils.

For us it was an extra step on two levels.

One was about continuing testing our materials and always the technology of innovation,

and the other was to push the boundary yet further also for Lalou in terms of passing on expertise, training,

and giving Quentin every chance in new challenges with a new boat.

I don't know whether it's easier for me to learn all that and face this new way of sailing,

but what is sure is that I have less experience than all the others,

so maybe it was easier for Romaric to show me stuff for the first time.

There's no doubt you have to forget lots of things in a way, but keep all the safety rules in mind

but it's a new way of sailing, so I'm learning it and it's so pleasant that it's not a problem.

I was very very proud of the team we have put together around the table, absolutely!

I wouldn't change them for anything in the world.

It's really an ocean racing boat in other words we aim for 100/150 miles, even more,

on one tack, on which we will be able to tweak the settings but that will be on the same tack,

which will enable us to boost our performance and gradually go fast on one tack.

This is where this boat gives us a real advantage over its peers.

There's plenty of stuff we need to fine-tune, and that's super interesting.

It promises great things!

With a hardtail, we need the bike to behave nobly.

This means that, in spite of being a rigid bike with no suspension,

t is capable of absorbing roots and rocks

and maintaining the wheel in contact with the surface to provide traction.

MANAGEABILITY

It is essential to have an optimal position on the bicycle,

both in terms of biomechanics, to have efficient pedaling,

and to center weights and tackle descents in a more comfortable position,

in which I can easily maneuver.

I've tried 29ers in size S

and when I go back and try the 27.5, I find that it suits me better,

I feel better on my bicycle.

In this sense, having a correct fitting does more for me than a larger wheel,

When we're talking about performance.

RELIAIBLITY

Finally, as a competitor, one of the crucial factors that our bike needs to give us

is to be reliable.

It's of no use to have good legs if the bike does not accompany you to the finish line!

In this sense, all versions of the Alma that I have had have been incredibly reliable,

helping me win different titles and podiums, in world cups, world championships and the Olympic Games.

Mainstream Media in Its Death Throes As Aussie PM Exposes Fake News on Trump.

It�s crystal clear now, for all to see, how the mainstream media operates. From the

�sources inside� references, which almost always remain unnamed, to the provocative

slant it chooses to use when covering any story involving President Donald Trump.

While there is certainly no shortage of reasons to disagree with Trump, the mainstream media

has flooded the infosphere with so much fake news, that reality and truth are nearly extinct.

Take, for instance, the telephone conversation Trump had on Saturday the 28th of January,

with Australian Malcom Turnbull. Starting with the piece by Greg Miller and Phillip

Rucker, a slurry of negative words describing Trump�s behavior while on the phone call

with Turnbull. Trump�s behavior was described as having �blasted� the PM, and Trump

reportedly �boasted� about his win over Hillary Clinton.

Later, the two writers stated Trump called the conversation �the worst� he�d had

with other world leaders and said it was the �worst deal� for the U.S. which reportedly

involved the resettling of over 1200 more refugees from Australia.

Breaking with journalistic optimism, the pair of Washington Reporters wrote, �The characterizations

provide insight into Trump�s temperament and approach to the diplomatic requirements

of his job as the nation�s chief executive, a role in which he continues to employ both

the uncompromising negotiating tactics he honed as a real estate developer and the bombastic

style he exhibited as a reality television personality.�

After Miller and Rucker�s story was published, the rest of the mainstream media seemed to

jump onto the bandwagon which attempted to portray the sitting U.S. president as a type

of cry-baby, someone who cannot control his emotions, actions, or words, and as an individual

which is severely difficult to work with. The story may have been intentionally twisted

as it began to take on a whole new meaning. The Independent ran the storyline, �The

deeper reason we should be worried Donald Trump hung up on Australia PM Turnbull.�

The obvious fear tactics appear to be working. There�s still ongoing political unrest from

the left, with even one comedian and actress, Sarah Silverman calling for an overthrow of

the democratically elected Trump. CNBC ran a similar story entitled �In phone

call with Australia PM, Trump berates and then hangs up on him: Washington Post.�

Note the word choice of �berates,� a negative connotation is implied in the word choice,

further alienating the American people from any sense of trust in Trump�s judgment.

While we here at The Free Thought Project are an apolitical association of independent

journalists, ex-military, scientists, and the like, we are dedicated to exposing the

truth. And in the case of Trump�s reported berating of the Australian Prime Minister

Turnbull, leading to a heated exchange that led the U.S. president to hang up on another

world leader, the truth is It Never Happened! Turnbull, in an interview with an Australian

radio station, described the phone call. �I had a call with President Trump on Sunday

morning our time and the president committed to honor the refugee resettlement deal that

had been made by his predecessor Barack Obama,� Turnbull told the radio station. This stands

in direct contrast to the Washington Post story, which portrayed a much more contentious

conversation with the PM. So who�s telling the truth? It�s obviously not the mainstream

media, if Turnbull�s own words are to be believed.

Here�s where things get interesting. Instead of calling the telephone call rife with contention,

Turnbull described the conversation as being direct and to the point. Turnbull even went

so far as to chastise the mainstream media for its clearly biased reporting. �As far

as the call is concerned, I�m very disappointed that there has been a leak of purported details

of the call in Washington, but I want to make one observation about it,� Turnbull said

Many MosaLingua users, and people who read our blog,

have written to us asking if it's possible to learn two languages at the same time.

In this video, I'll answer this question and I'll give some

useful advice

to the people who are interested in trying!

First of all, let's start by

answering the main question.

Yes, it is possible to learn two languages at the same time.

But in my opinion, that's not the real question here, that's not the right

question to be asking.

The question you should be asking yourself is, is it a good idea to learn two languages

at the same time? Is it efficient?

To tell you if learning two languages at the same time is a good idea or not,

I'll base my answer

on my own personal experience - I, myself have learned

six foreign languages -

and on the conversations I've had with other polyglots.

I have to say, it isn't unanimous! There are people who

are able to learn two languages at the same time, and who think it's a good idea, that it's efficient!

And others who believe

that you should dedicate yourself

to one language at a time,

one by one.

So, my answer to: is it a good idea or not? Is simply:

it depends!

I don't want to discourage anyone from learning two languages at once.

It can work, but you

need to have three key elements working for you:

The first, time,

next, motivation, and the third, organization.

Today, time is really one of the most valuable, and rare, resources we have.

Our lives are hectic, we have tons of things going on, so really

you should only take on this challenge of learning two languages

if you have enough time on your hands.

When I talk about time, what I mean is

time in your day-to-day schedule, time on your hands,

you need to have enough free time each week to dedicate

quite a bit of it to the two languages you're learning.

Also, long-term time. You need to be able to give yourself

a sort of deadline for achieving your goal

that isn't too rushed. If you need three, or even six months,

to really gain mastery of a language

well, of course if you take on two languages simultaneously

you'll need to allow yourself more time. Six months, twelve months,

maybe longer!

In terms of motivation, well, I'm pretty sure that

if you already have decided to learn two languages at once,

you have all the motivation you need, at least to get started.

You're very enthusiastic. You really want to learn. But it's important

to keep up this motivation throughout, because, I like to say that motivation

is the fuel for learning foreign languages.

So you really need to

be sure

that your motivation is strong,

and that it will carry you through

a long period,

that's important, and also be sure that you're motivated for

both languages, not just one.

You risk getting in over your head and

giving up on both languages. And that would be too bad!

Finally,

if you want to learn two languages at one time, you'll need

strong, concrete organization skills.

I say this because you'll really need to be able to structure your days,

your weeks, well. This means that you need to plan out

your learning, say for example:

Mondays, I'll work on one language, Wednesdays, I'll work on

the other language. And organize yourself like that.

With great planning and organization skills, you can do it. There you have it,

if you can bring together these three elements - so as a reminder:

you're going to need time, motivation, and organization -

you'll be able to do it.

Embattled and delusional Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis: I had better stats than Deion Sanders - Duration: 5:39.

Darrelle Revis was bathing in delusion and past glory the day before a sketchy late-night street fight in Pittsburgh thrusted him into the spotlight for all the wrong reasons.

The Jets fading cornerback had plenty to say on his verified Instagram account on Feb. 11, including sad and pathetic claims of superiority that revealed that the poor (rich) guy has way too much time on his hands.

Revis, Inc., might have crafted a pristine image of the man for the past decade, but the mercurial, entitled player has proven to be nothing more than a former great unable to come to grips with his new reality. This guy takes criticism about as well as the guy taking up (part-time) residence on 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

A year after Revis claimed that he was hacked in the wake of a profane Instagram flurry on @revisislandtwo4, his official account, directed at Tom Brady, Bill Belichick and Patriots fans, the cornerback shared his all-time cornerback totem pole with some critical posters.

"(Rod and/or Charles) Woodson, ty (Law), or champ (bailey) has done what I've done period," Revis posted on his verified account. "I had better stats then Deion so know your facts before you start chiming in. But you alongside everybody else tries to judge someone off one season.

Look @ the body of work I've done in a shorter period of time.

Plus Qb feared to even throw my side so clearly that's why my ints are not in the 50 plus category like some of the guys you previously named."

Revis has quite the high opinion of himself. Can you imagine Tom Brady ever publicly claiming that he had better numbers than Joe Montana, even though he actually does? Can you envision Barry Sanders trying to marginalize Jim Brown?

Or Michael Strahan stacking himself above Deacon Jones?

The truth is that Revis has little else left. He was a liability last season. He was repeatedly bailed out by poor throws after getting beat in coverage in 2015 even though he called it "one of my best years of my career" during this sad dialogue on Feb. 11.

Revis' only remaining play is to implore folks to check his resume.

Fine.

Sanders was an eight-time Pro Bowler and six-time first-team All Pro. Revis is a seven-time Pro Bowler and four-time first-team All-Pro.

Sanders once won AP NFL Defensive Player of the Year. Revis has never won AP NFL Defensive Player of the Year.

Sanders had 53 career interceptions, including nine for touchdowns. Revis has 29 career interceptions, including three for touchdowns.

Sanders won two Super Bowls. Revis has won one.

Earth to Revis: Quarterbacks feared throwing at Sanders long before you entered the picture. In the NFL cornerback universe, 21 &gt;24.

In some ways, I actually feel sorry for Revis, whose public chest-thumping over his legacy is pathetic. His fallback position in the face of criticism is predictable: I'm going to Canton one day. So there!

When Cleveland Cavaliers guard J.R. Smith tweeted a joke about Revis Island "turning into a tourist resort" in September, the hurt cornerback responded in lame fashion: "still heading to Canton though. What about you???"

Again, would Peyton Manning, Calvin Johnson, Brady or any other classy accomplished star ever do that? Obviously not. Revis, however, doesn't know how else to comport himself. On Feb.

11, he told a critical fan: "See ya @ Canton my dude."

It was so predictable. We get it. You're going to Canton. Congratulations. You actually deserve it.

But please don't injure your elbow patting yourself on the back.

On second thought, it would be a convenient excuse if/when you get beat in coverage next season. I had a sore elbow!

There will always be enablers and apologists to prevent Revis from seeing the truth. In his warped world view, past accomplishments should make him immune from fair criticism over his lack of consistent effort.

Diminishing skills are forgivable. Poor effort is not.

At least Revis appears to understand that he'll have to play for a lot less money in 2017. He conceded as much in one of his Instagram exchanges 10 days ago.

"here again bringing up money," Revis posted to @that_blunted_ninja. "I don't care about being in the top 10 of corners this year. I don't deserve to be.

You earn what you get in this league.

But when it's all said and done Ill go down as one of the best to ever play the position. It's already happening. You late bro. Haha."

Only $6 million of Revis' $13 million base salary for 2017 is fully guaranteed. The Jets will have to make a decision whether to keep Revis on a restructured deal (aka- pay cut) or cut him before he's due a $2 million roster bonus on March 10. His legal entanglements stemming from the Royal Rumble on a Pittsburgh street corner on Feb.

12 certainly don't help matters.

He has a preliminary hearing scheduled for Thursday.

His love for Jets fans has largely been a pre-packaged myth concocted by Revis, Inc.

This person loves two things: His family and his money.

When one Jets fan, @c_roditis, questioned Revis on Instagram on Feb. 11 for his inconsistent effort last season, the player quipped: "One less fan ain't going to change my legacy. That's why we've gave you the label HATERS.

So keep hating cause that's what your good for."

Revis later added: "here we have another lame jealous of my success &amp; legacy. They love to hate me. Another hater added to the list!

Your welcome for what I've done &amp; accomplished in the league. Spoiled a-- fan."

Revis' has 238,000 followers on his verified Instagram account. There are two words on the homepage: "remain humble."

He might want to read that once in a while.
