In today's episode we'll be talking about battle funds in Matchmaking,
meet the drones that help you in battles
and we'll also answer questions about skins and modules.
Hello tankers!
Juggernaut and Matchmaking weren't released.
We've decided to double check everything and release both next week.
And this means we have time to give you more details about the update.
As we've said before,
battle score for each tanker in the battle will grow faster
when you complete the main objectives of the mode -- capture flags in CTF,
capture points in CP and so on.
At the same time,
experience needed to rank up will be growing a bit slower than now,
which will give you more time to earn crystals before earning the next rank.
And now about battle fund distribution.
Compared to the current system in team battles
it will be more important how each individual player performs,
and a bit less how the whole team plays, both for winners and losers.
What this means: if a tanker has played very well and earned a lot of battle score,
that player will get a sizeable reward even if their team has lost the battle.
So it will always be worth finishing battles.
In the first Matchmaking test, one question was asked during the whole testing --
what is the perfect team composition for battles when Matchmaking is released?
In the end, we've stopped on battles…
8 v 8.
After they are released on live servers we will see if this format is working as intended.
And just in case: everything we've shared right now is coming to standard battles.
In PRO-battles, nothing will change,
except that in private battles the battle fund will stop increasing.
Other features and important details of matchmaking battles will be published
in the update announcement right before it's released.
TO Mobile testing has finally started this week.
We've sent several hundred invites to lucky tankers who applied for the test,
and also to biggest Youtube channels with videos about Tanki.

Masters of the Sword tournament is in full swing and for all categories --
Solo, Tandem, Trio and Clan -- the first stage is now complete.
From more than 2000 participants at the start only about a 100 of them are left.
This weekend the strongest clan in all of Tanki
will be decided in the XP/BP format.
Right now there are 3 potential winners:
Clan Peppers - winners of the previous tournament;
Clan Penguins - the best European clan after the International tournament;
and Clan Deja Vu -
who climbed their way to top 3 by beating several fan favorites in the tournament.
The next match is Penguins versus Deja Vu, and it will happen today, May 25th, at 5PM UTC
The losers will take the 3rd place and the winners will proceed to the Grand final,
where they will face clan Peppers.
The final match will take place on Sunday, May 27th.

Last week was full of heated discussion about Project Energizer --
and specifically about modules and XT-skins.
It's time to reveal more details about the upcoming release.
The most curious among you have already seen on the test server a new feature,
which never appeared in the game before -- drones.
Drones will become the third pillar of now Not So Secret Project Energizer.
Drones are your helpers in battles.
They increase your stats, improve supplies and many more other things.
There are 12 drones in total, and with the first release 3 will be added to the game.
Mechanic Drone will enhance the effect of Repair Kit,
giving more health back at the start and healing nearby allies,
as it happens with Overdrive.
The effect will apply to both the supply and drop versions of Repair Kit.
The drone will trigger automatically after you reload it.
Assault Drone increases the remaining time on all active supplies after destroying enemy tanks
The drone also will trigger automatically after the reload.
Trooper Drone.
This drone will activate all supplies
-- Double Armor, Double Damage and Speed Boost --
right after your tank spawns.
Your personal supplies won't be used.
This is a perfect tool to stop spawn camping at the base.
Drones will be sold for crystals in the Garage, and you will also be able to upgrade them.
Mechanic will gain more HP recovery,
and Assault and Trooper will get increased duration for supplies.
"So why is it called Energizer?" -- you will ask.
Because drones will be fueled by special batteries.
This is a new supply, which will be used automatically when the drone is activated.
Same as other supplies, you would be able to buy it in the Garage and in the Shop,
earn by completing daily missions and mission chains, and, of course, win in events!
And now it's time to answer the questions:
The first and most popular question - "What will happen to our modules?"
All players have a different number of modules and different levels of upgrades on them.
We will convert the old modules into the new modules,
and if there's any "change" left,
it will be converted into batteries for drones and given to the tanker.
Old modules, including Legacy modules, will be removed from the game.
This way, the more upgrades you have on your modules now,
the cooler they will become after the update and the more batteries you will get.
Second popular question -
"What will happen to XT-turrets and hulls after the update?".
If you have, for example,
XT and regular Wasp in the Garage when the update is released,
they will be converted to a single Wasp M3 with XT skin.
If you have Wasp M3 with upgrades and Wasp XT with upgrades,
we will recount their cost and upgrade the final hull a bit.
And again, if we hit level 10* of upgrades, *CORRECTION: Level 20, sorry
all of the "change" left will be given back in batteries.
And now the final, third question - "When can we expect all this?"
We really want to release the update as soon as possible,
but it's hard to predict how much time something this new will take.
Expect it in the nearest several weeks.
