Hello everyone and
I've been meaning to do this for a while now maybe for a few months
But I have some drawings that I'm gonna be showing you here go through them and take a look. I'll explain how I drew them
Know what what medium it was
Maybe the type of paper and although all the papers are pretty much the same in all these drawings only differences
However off the paper is it's going to take a look at these and these are some older drawings that I have done
recently within the past year and
This one here. I did with a ballpoint pen and
It took me about an hour to draw this one
it was a
Bit of a doodle I'd say not really sure what's going on in this but as you can see here
there's a little landscape in the background and
I've got some other
Random of things going on here. I
Tend to draw a lot of stuff that's moving around in my drawings. There's like a Sun here and then I have
Some kind of a shape going on there, I'm not really sure then there's like tentacles
Vines and everything over there. This was done with ballpoint pen and
I
Like doing these little doodles of these ballpoint pens and they're really cheap and
Not too worried about writing out because as you all know
What point pens the big ones they last for a very long time the paper is a smooth paper. I
just get it on line big gigantic packs of it for
$10 for like maybe
500 pages or something like that, so
And this one here is
an unfinished doodle that uh, I've got to work on some more I
was using a sharpie marker for this and
I've got to work on this one. I started on this one about a year ago and I
got maybe halfway through it and then I
just took a break and
I don't know why I didn't finish on this one. I've got other ones here that aren't finished and
Yeah, but there's like a face here. There's like a little city and then this here I've got
there's a bit of a building there and
Some kind of biomechanical stuff. Is it going on in this and there's things exploding out the side and there's a face here
There's like clouds I don't even know what that is in the background, I think it's a Sun or maybe it could be a
Moon I don't know and then there is also
more buildings right here, and then there's a tree little road some cars and
Not sure what's going on in most of this here
But take a look at the next one that we've got here
and this one here is a
Full city
That was drawing. It's like a cityscape and
It's not completely finished yet
but
It's an intricate one. I
Believe I was using a
Nice a graph pen for this I was using one of those cheaper ones
I have the rocha grass and grass bugs using one of those
I have some morphs tech-noir pins as you can get those like online from Jerry's or dorama an entire set
like 20 bucks and
They're OK, but I prefer the broaching nicer grips. But anyways, there's like little clouds here in cities and things going on there as well
and I've put in some little
Spaceships then I've got over here
more clouds
Then I've got more
Just random abstract things and then just a little antenna on top of the building over there
And this one here is design it was planning on four coloring book that had to finish and
Lots of send tangled looking stuff kind of like a zentangle but not quite
Zen tangles are
More complicated than this they
They don't have as much repeating patterns like this like like there's repeating patterns, but it just looks a bit different
I'm not quite sure how to describe it
Although I should probably go into detail sometime for you about the difference between doing Zentangles and doodles
so this was done with a sharpie marker and
I can't tell if this was a sharpie marker or the Sharpie pen
because the lines are pretty much similar in width, but it's one of those two and
This took me about an hour and a half so far to draw this
I'm gonna finish that one up sooner
I hope maybe it kind of depends on what I have left to work on and then the next one we have here
this is
Kind of like a mandala
that's what I started with here all the flower petals and everything on the outside and I just kept repeating that pattern and
Then on the outside I did it's kinda like cross hatching it away
well, not really cross hatching but it's like he's
Lines, it looks like weaving or something. I'm not sure how to describe that
but anyways, it's a
Just a strange mandala was like a big flower in the middle of it and
This one's mostly done. I'm just gonna add the stuff on the sides or
maybe it could be like the side of a tree now that I look at this is
kind of is like the side of a tree I
Guess if you look at it and squint
In an abstract way, it could be a tree and the next one here. I
did this one with a I said graph pin and
I used the point one the smallest nib that I have available and I did a bunch of stippling
as you can see here, there's a
The eye there there's like a face and there's another eye over here and then over here there's another eye
There's on the face over there. It was like a moon some birds in the background over there and
More abstract shape. This is a little tiny building and drew they're over the moon in the background
There's another one. I guess I just like drawing circles and
making them look three-dimensional
with also stippling and
There's like a face
And they're crying. They're all sad
What else is in here
We've got the person's hair. It's been stippled in there and
Then you've got more abstract shapes and everything. I'm not sure what I was going off on this
I think it was like a branch. Well, maybe it was a tree one of the two and
There's more Leafs down here where I have struck nature looking things. Oh
There's little mountains right here I started stippling in little tiny mountains in the bottom there and
Yeah, it's a fun will do and
Yeah, I don't know what to think of this one there's a bunch of random things it's all over the place
So let's go ahead and take a look at this. Um visit like a part of a tree
there's a tree down here and the tree branches off into other things and I've got like part of a clock and then there's like
part of some machinery
There's like a hand down there
With the door opening it's got like a hard that's broken in the face. There's a
spears all the little dots are it's going off and right in places and
then we have
More wording. There's like a little banner that's on there that I drew with a bunch of leaves over here
I'm always drawing leaves. I don't know why I draw so much nature stuff, but that's just what ends up happening
Just part of my style I guess. Um
yeah, just a bunch of stippling is like a face down here and
Then what else is there like more of her branches and trees this was done with a red?
sharpie pen the Sharpie pen now that I remember and think of it is
slightly smaller than the
sharpie marker ultrafine point and
this here is a
It's a doodle
but you can tell this was with an ISO graph pen and
This was what was with those cheap
ISO graph Mars
tech-noir pens that I got from cherries are dorama and
I was using the point one for this in the point, too
But it kept catching on the paper, I noticed that my virtually entire graph don't catch in the paper as much I wonder why
Probably because of the quality I would assume
but they kept catching on this paper and I couldn't really draw on it for very long and
I had to stop the drawing. That's why I didn't finish this one yet, but it just says doodle
there's like more steps in the landscape and
Then I have leaps over here. There's a note leaf and then
What else do I got here like little clouds or is that like lightning? I'm not sure one of the two and
Then there's a bunch of repeating patterns and going on up do that
Some more Leafs and everything and then the next one I have here is
Guess it's a Sun
This one was a
had an idea for something
But I didn't quite finish it. Is it upside down or is it this way? I
Can't even tell I don't remember which white even goes honestly I
Would think but I can't remember
anyways, there's like his son here and
Have discussed mother of random and strike shapes going on around it
I'm not sure what I was thinking about but I had this like style that I had going on with
drawing stuff to where everything was
Exploding and falling apart and coming apart and stuff like that and then I don't of coorporate
Nature scenes into it, but all these drawings that I have here
they're all done on a
piece of paper that's eight point five by
That's eight point five by
Eleven point five inches somewhere around there
it's the printer paper size and I just cut those in half so I can do smaller drawings and
Then I just do it as one
And I'd like to do that to get ideas out so that I don't spend a whole lot of time in the drawing
But yeah, that's mostly just what that is and then the next one is a quick one
unfinished
there's more Leafs and vines and things going on like that in the drawing and
Let's see here
There's it some type of styles that have going on in this and I don't know what it's really called
It's like as you can see here
I'll point it out to you here
These all these little parts is going around looks like clowns kind of but not really quite clouds
I'm not sure what this style is
But I started doing that style for maybe a couple months and I kept doing it and a lot of my doodles
But I need to go doing more dueling like that
But yeah, that's that doom layer and the next one we have
Is another unfinished doodle and this was done with a virgin ice. No, it was a nourishing rice. Oh crap
It was I have some more aesthetic work. I think almost all of these that I had done on these pieces of paper that
Was like super detailed. They were all done with the ice and more Stanmore pins
and this was done with the point one and two point two and as you can tell it kept catch me on the paper and
Then it's got frustrated the night took a break from it and moved on and our nick doodle here
There's more nature scenes and a little bit of stippling
What else we got here
We have stippling there there like some mountains or something going on and then we've got some
Rock or whatever over on this side, then there's a bunch of stippling here
It's just complete chaos on this John. I don't even know and then the next one is another unfinished drawing and
This is of
Some type of a landscape thing I was trying to design
um
but yeah, I
Don't even know
there's a lot of
Jagged edges, there's like parts of my own looks like it could be maybe part of trees don't know
There's that and yeah, I don't even know where I was going like
what my ideals was with this but
Yeah, I know that when I continue these drawings again, they might end up very different than the original idea
so the next one we have here is another unfinished doodle with the ballpoint pen and
More abstract shapes and stuff. It's like I
was practicing in this drawing
The shadows and contrasts of things as you can see here all the lights coming from this way
and I've got everything darkened on this side and
we're just practicing doing my shading with a ballpoint pen and
These type of doodles I just practice the shading I'm not too worried about the final result and
I just have fun with it and keep doodling things. Um, I think that's a building right there
I'm not sure and it looks like bubbles beside it
But um, yeah, this is strange doodle
Hey, this looks like a quick 10-minute duel
just know there's something simple nothing too complicated and
Yeah, just some flowers and em strikes and tingly looking stuff with the word art on it the next one is another
chaotic mess of
random things
the face here most drawing faces in nature in rocks
now there's lace all over the place and there's like an array of white and there's like moons and Suns and planets and
things bursting and going all over the place and then there's like water moving around over here and
then we have a
Take a look at this, let me see here
It's like another Sun or something. I guess if you squint when you look at that, it might look like Saturn to you maybe
Then this is like rays of light and everything
And this is a quick portrait drawing I did in
about 30 minutes of
a friend of mine
And he was on him
I think it was if flying this little tiny plane that or he was a passenger
I don't remember I'll have to ask him but this was the view from inside of it
There's a little camera
there's landscape in the background and this was about
This was also about a year ago. I think and I was practicing to be unfortunate drawing
This was with a ballpoint pen
I'm kind of a scribble technique. I'm not too worried about doing everything detailed. Just getting the shapes in there and
Going from there
The next one is actually a drawing that I did
That another YouTube were featured
on their Channel
And I drew a big pin with random things all over the place
more leaves and whatnot and abstract shapes all
Interlocking together and over each other
and I
Spent a little bit of time doing the shading on the pen and the shading and all this stuff
But there was so much going on the drawing that after a while. I was like I
Think what's gonna do the basic shading around some of the clouds in the pen and that's it. Because I
didn't wanna have to go in and do every single little section of every little shape and that would just take a long time and
it featured this on their channel and
Yeah, that was a
another word doodle I
Don't even know what I'm thinking of most of the time when I do these the people always asked like what are you thinking of?
and I'm like, I don't even really know I mean
most of the time I kind of just zone out like I'm thinking about stuff but for the most part
I'm just really relaxed and
Just like I'm really focused. I
Don't know how to explain it really like I'm really focused on the drawing, but I'm also zoned out I'm thinking about things
but at the same time
I'm not too focused in the drawing like a fights relax and just draw and draw things more detailed or better than if I get
all stressed out about Morrie too much because then I feel like I'm not as creative, but this is another
Random doodle with
random shapes I started trying to draw mechanical type of looking things here and
It's like mechanical plus like nature places the quick doodles. This was like
20 or 30 minutes maybe and this was done with a gel pen
And the last one that I have here
Is like some mechanical character thinking I was designing and making up. I've never got to work on my
Three-dimensional drawing of things like when it comes to drawing characters
That is I'm not I don't feel like I'm that great really enjoying characters
Designing those things. I have a bit of trouble trying to draw things realistically
and
I tend to draw a lot of things on a flat plane and
That's why I enjoy drawing Zentangles and dueling I mean I can do portraits but sometimes they get stressful and ice want to chill and
doodle to have fun
But yeah, this was done with
Actually, I think I used it paper made pin for this that was like a purple paper made pin
and
this is on a
slightly rough cardstock paper and
I think it's a hundred-pound with paper weight. It's just a mechanical
Character thing that I was doodling, I did a little bit of practicing drawing the shadows
practice drawing
I'm doing the shading a little bit of cross hatching
But just some characters making a brilli
In that really any direction with it
Most of my drawings don't have any direction at all
And they're not really going anywhere. They're just
Whatever my hand feels like drawing this what I make up
so
There's that I hope you enjoyed seeing my doodles and I'll show you some more next time
Those were just a sample I have
actually with me an entire stack of them, but I want to look through them all and
Think about them and look at them so I can give you a better explanation of each of the drawings and
Then I'll come back to you and have more videos showing you all of my doodles
So I'll show you more finished artwork you next time
but
Yeah, I'm going to go ahead and work on some drawing now
Probably go and doodle some more random things again
But until then I hope you have a great night, and I hope you enjoyed this video
Don't forget to quit and subscribe below so you get notified for whenever I put a video up and if you liked the video
Give it a thumbs up and share it with your friends. You have a good night and
