Hi this is Tutor Nick P and this is Proverbs 30. The proverb today is a chain is no stronger

it's weakest link. You know of course, on a chain, a chain is a bunch of links that are

connected together and if there is one link that is weak it could make the

whole chain snap. So this is kind of like the whole idea behind it. So let's continue with the note here. This proverb basically

means that if one part of something is weak, it in dangers the whole success or

the effectiveness of something. So one weak part can make the whole thing break. Just

like one weak link can make a chain snap, that they could

come apart and the whole thing breaks. That's what basically this proverb means.

All right. Let's look at the first example here. In the animated version of

"The Prince of Egypt", I remember this animated version is a cartoon version. The

Prince of Egypt was a cartoon movie version they actually made of Moses. The

life story of Moses. So he he was the Prince of Egypt, Their King Rama was told

by his father, now King Rama ended up being like Moses'

brother when he grew up. Remember Moses was a slave and the mother let the baby

go on the Nile River and the the Queen at the time found Moses and kind of

adopted Moses. And Moses ended up growing up with King Rama at the time. He wasn't

King yet but they grew up together as brothers and they really loved each

other. They really liked each other you know until later on, you know it was revealed that of course Moses was a Jewish person and then of course he got exiled

basically. Well let's continue here. King Rama was told by his father, so when he

was younger King, he was told by his heart father that he would need to be

strong to keep the dynasty going. You know, the dynasty of the Pharaohs.

Like one Pharaoh, after another Pharaoh. To keep that family going. To keep that power going.

That the dynasty was only as strong as the weakest link.

That's what he was doing. Warning his son, like you don't be the weakest link. Make sure

you keep the dynasty going. Basically that's what he was saying and I do remember

later on you know in the movie of course you know when Moses finally came back to

try to free his people. To free the Jews, you know and he was asking King Rama you

know he kind of grew up his brothers with him.you know. You you know just let them

go. And of course that's when King Rama was saying, " I'm not going to be the

weakest link. " You know because he remembered that his father told him not

to be that. So that is a very good example of what we mean by the weakest link here.

All right. Let's look at number two. You need to make sure our every team member is well

qualified. Remember a team is only as strong as its weakest link.

With some teams it may not matter if somebody's like a backup player. They

don't get to play very much. This may not be as big a deal, but like in the

Olympics. Sometimes the team is very very

important. A relay race for example would be very very important. So either a

running relay race or a swimming relay race, you have like four or five

you know players, and they go as a team each one does one part of the race. But

if you have one that's really really slow, he could really make the whole

team lose. Even if, even if some of the other players were better, if you got one

really weak link, one really weak player that's not really qualified , the team may

have no chance of success. They'll never be able to make up the time that he loses.

BIG Dem G*nControl Champ Just Hauled Away In Handcuffs – Will Spend YEARS In Prison!

In what is surely one of the more ironic stories in recent history, Senator Leland Yee (D-CA),

a staunch proponent and advocate of g*n control legislation and the disarmament of the American

public, has been sentenced to 5 years in prison for weapons trafficking.

Yee was originally busted by the FBI for conspiracy to deal firearms without a license and to

illegally import firearms.

At the time of the bust, the AP reported of Yee also accepting tens of thousands of dollars

in campaign contributions and cash payments to provide introductions, help a client get

a contract and influence legislation.

Federal prosecutors also state Yee agreed to perform official acts in exchange for the

money, including one instance in which he introduced a businessman to state legislators

who had significant influence over pending medical marijuana legislation.

In exchange, the businessman — who was actually an undercover FBI agent — agreed to donate

thousands to Yee's campaign fund, according to the original indictment.

Yee acknowledged in the plea deal that he was guilty of defrauding "citizens of honest

services" and was involved in a scheme to traffic firearms in exchange for thousands

in campaign donations to the senator.

He pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to engage in racketeering.

Yee acknowledged accepting $11,000 in exchange for setting up a meeting with another state

senator, $10,000 for recommending someone for a grant, and $6,800 for providing a certificate

on California State Senate letterhead honoring the Ghee Kung Tong.

He also acknowledged that he discussed helping an undercover FBI agent buy automatic weapons

from the Philippines that were intended to be brought to the U.S. for distribution.

In all, 26 people, including former school board president Keith Jackson, were indicted

on charges related to an extensive crime ring headed by well-known Chinatown figure Raymond

"Shrimp Boy" Chow, a flamboyant leader of a Chinese fraternal organization – the

Ghee Kung Tong.

Yee served in the ranks of Bay Area politics since the late 1980s, when he was elected

to the San Francisco School Board.

He then went on to sit on the city's Board of Supervisors and in the state Assembly.

He became the first Asian American speaker pro tem in 2004, making him the second-highest

ranking Democrat in the California assembly at the time.

From 2006 onwards, Yee served as a state senator with plans to push towards a secretary of

state campaign when his political aspirations were derailed by having his dirty laundry

exposed and a federal indictment in March 2014.

In court, Yee begged mercy from Senior District Court Judge Charles Breyer.

At the sentencing hearing, Judge Breyer was not having it and called the weapons allegations

against Yee unfathomable and said it was frightening that Yee would be willing to go entirely against

his public position on g**s in exchange for money.

Yee stated to Judge Breyer – "I hope that in your sentencing of me, you will look at

my entire life and not just these crimes I have committed.

In the 67 years of my life, I have devoted much of it to the work of the community, to

people here in San Francisco and in the state of California."

Judge Breyer responded during the hearing, stating – "I don't feel I should be

lenient.

The crimes that you committed have resulted in essentially an attack on democratic institutions.

It must be that the public has trust in the integrity of the institution, and Mr. Yee,

you abused that trust."

Judge Breyer went on to call Yee's actions "vile" and the arms dealings particularly

"hypocritical" given the politician's history of g*n control advocacy.

Still, Breyer's sentence fell on the low end of guidelines that called for a prison

term of between four years and 9 months and six years.

Prosecutors had recommended an eight-year sentence.

Yee's attorneys had called for no more than five years and three months behind bars, saying

Yee had a history of public service and his wife was ill.

Yee has been free pending sentencing.

Breyer ordered him to surrender in 30 days.

Yee and his attorney declined to comment outside the courtroom.

Yee told CBS two years before his arrest – "It is extremely important that individuals in

the state of California do not own assault weapons.

I mean that is just so crystal clear — there is no debate, no discussion."

As a legislator, Yee supported strict g*n control laws and was named to the Brady Campaign's

G*n Violence Prevention Honor Roll.

Prosecutor Susan Badger said during the sentencing hearing that Yee was looking for money to

win the race for secretary of state as he was being forced from the state Senate by

term limits.

Badger stated of Yee – "Senator Yee abused that trust and faith in the worst possible

way.

it wasn't actually for personal financial wealth.

It was to retain power as a public official."

but in general terms, taking thyroid medication

can fully replace what the thyroid gland normally does.

And it's important to point out that the thyroid gland

doesn't make active thyroid hormones.

It makes a precursor,

called, we just say it's,

it's a precursor, it has four iodine molecules on it.

Active thyroid hormone has three.

The thyroid makes the one with four,

your liver takes away one of those

iodines to make the three.

So you can take the thyroid hormone by mouth,

and then the liver does the final step,

and can regulate much of that process.

And TSH is a useful test because that's a measure

of what the brain perceives in terms

of what the liver's doing.

And so that can be used by your physician

to help judge the dose of oral

thyroid medicine as prescribed.

So again this is something that has to be managed

between you and your primary care physician.

VLOG - Outdoor Workout & Grocery Shopping! - Duration: 13:28.

my nicknames today we're gonna be doing an up to a workout I'm so excited I

don't know if you guys can see like this red line on my forehead over here I went

to go put on like my workout hat because I hate hate hate like once I was like

beaming on me but I love being outside and working out because it's just so

refreshing so I went to go put it on just to like try it on then I kept it on

for a couple minutes and I took it off I'm like now I have a red line on my

forehead so I'm gonna go to sissy's house and we're gonna go work outside

I'm so excited I called her up and I'm like you know what it's gonna be nice

tomorrow I want to do an outdoor workout we need to get this workout in and she's

like yeah for sure she's always down for an outdoor workout because she loves

working out outdoors she's cool with being in the Sun she loves it but I'm

just not a big fan of the Sun I'm also gonna be using a new equipment today I

have brand new set of resistance bands and then I have resistance bands but

they're a little bit different so there like tube resistance bands I can't wait

to show you guys I'm gonna show you guys how I use some of the work cuz I love to

do with them I use these ones at home I use this ones for outdoor workouts you

can use them at the gym this type of equipment is really good if you guys

can't make it to the gym for some reason or if you guys are at home mom's and

it's hard for you guys to get to the gym and you prefer working out at home or

outside this is perfect for you guys or if you guys don't want some sort of

beginner ideal workouts I'm gonna show you guys some of those today this is the

equipment I'm gonna be showing you guys today I am so excited to use these tubes

oh my god I really wanted to set like this because the one that I have is just

one type of resistance and it's kind of like it's light so I have to move my

feet to kind of make it a little bit more harder for me so with these ones

you get like extra heavy heavy light medium they also come with these handles

so you attach these handles to any one of the resistance tube so that you guys

can use there's also a piece that comes in here where you can put it behind a

door and pull down on the resistance bands if you want to and the other thing

I really like about them is that they give you books for both the resistance

bands and the tubes and they show you guys a couple of different workout ideas

just in case you guys feel like you're lost or you guys don't really know what

to do that's what's really good about it and they also have one for the tube as

well which is really cool the tubes I use mostly for arm workouts and then

with the resistance bands I use them mostly for leg workouts you can also do

arm workouts with these as well but I just prefer to use these more for leg

and booty make sure you guys check the description box if you guys want to

purchase these down below in my video I will link the exact ones to these a lot

of you tell me that when you guys go to the gym

it's like really intimidating and I've been there I know what it's like where

you see a ton of these machines and you don't really know what they do and you

kind of don't want to look stupid every time you go on them this typical

equipment is very very good for those who are starting or for those of you who

are at the stage that I'm at and you just want to use something different and

fun I just love using them because they're fun and personally I love one of

the gym and I love using the equipment I have over time gotten comfortable with

using different machines and just trying stuff out and at the end of the day you

guys you just have to you can't really be concerned about what someone else is

going to say because there's always a chance someone's gonna come up to you

and be like oh you're doing that wrong it's happened to me well they're like oh

you're doing wrong and I actually wasn't and sometimes you weren't doing wrong

and that person is just trying to help you you know what I'm saying so that's

just kind of part of life that's part of when you go out and pub like you're

always gonna sometimes get opinions from other people kind of just have to do

what you love and do your thing at the gym not worry about anybody else trying

to be as confident as possible cuz at the end of the day you're not there for

anybody else you're there for you but for those of you who are having trouble

kind of you know building that confidence that this type of equipment

is really really good for that just because it's so easy to use you can use

it as a convenience of your home too so you don't have to really worry about you

know people watching you or seeing if you're doing it properly and again it

strawberries if any more spinach for my um for my eggs and stuff I thought this

one's organic doesn't really say how much it is but it's a hemming spinach it

every time I see the flowers I just want to grab one

I want to get like a bunch of veggies like is it just me or you know what

green onion for making city is where is the cilantro this is organic parsley

okay yeah we don't want to fill you don't have so it might be back there

where is the cilantro I might have to buy those pockets over there

cilantro where are you uh I don't think they have it I know it okay well my

quesadillas just won't have any cilantro in them pretty cool that's pretty cold

area's not really needy I'm getting the mini one we all need to live our best

life you guys just recommended me these crispy tenders they're vegan I'm gonna

try them out because I'm such like a chicken finger sort of fan and these

ones a four it says here for tenders it's 190 calories I'll probably just

make them with some rice or something but I'm so excited to try them about a

couple of steaks these are corn-fed which is awesome and it's barbecue

season so that's why I definitely got these steaks I love having steak with

like rice on the side and a salad love love love that in the summer time so I

got those then I got some parmesan and I did end up getting this one that said

you make me fright actually the other one says you make me blush this one says

you make me fresh that's the one that I got and it's just like a pasta kit which

I can't wait to do this one because I love though everything is just kind of

in here and ready to go so let you guys know what I think about that one I also

got some jasmine rice because I think I'm gonna want to do like sort of an

asian-inspired meal then these guys I was showing you I'm so excited to try

these in their vegan chicken tenders basically this actually has had them

before she said they're really good so I can't wait to try those oh and every

time I have chicken tenders I absolutely have to have some plums off so I got

this one and this one is from the blue menu from President's Choice and for

this one it's only 25 calories per two tablespoons and I'm such a sauce girl

like I love love love sauces the students on my car right next to my

purse and I forgot to get some like checked out and I said to the girl um I

forgot to check out these cucumbers can you please put them through

I love sometimes like not every single night but sometimes wanting something

sweet at night when I'm having like a coffee I love that these are like such a

good size I'm going to show you guys so in comparison it's kind of like the palm

of your hand that's the size of them you guys this sign today like just working

out in the Sun and being in the Sun I am like I'm drained I can definitely say

that I got my Sun in today you guys I can't even believe I did my entire

workout in the side like I was just so tired afterwards and the Sun just like

makes you sweat it makes things just feel a lot more hotter and harder to do

but I really enjoyed it and I you I'm just happy that I actually got to go

outside today just because it was like so beautiful and it's just starting to

be better so I'm just like so thankful for that

and I feel like even though I don't really like to be inside of the Sun I

definitely want to take advantage of it because it doesn't come here often and

it doesn't last for a long time so that's basically it for today's vlog you

because I'm just feeling super cute in this top from sirens I'm gonna show you

guys st. clothing haul from them today summer clothing all so excited so this

first of all and can I just mention my hair I have not done L look like this

in such a long time and I have my beautiful waves in it so I just

absolutely love it gonna show you guys a couple of different summer pieces and

I'm also of course gonna style them for you you guys like o color has this

ability to just put you in just such a good mood like I just feel so so good

when I wear a little bit of color you guys will notice that the color that

I choose are definitely not like super bright and there's still a little bit

subdued just like this color that I'm wearing I asked you guys on one of my

do my clothing hauls it's very like vlog sort of style you guys did shoes is this

way instead of me doing like just a camera in front of me if I using the

touch of green over here and actually it's so funny because in person

this is sort of like a black Navy like in store I was like oh this is Navy but

seeing it here in my room I'm like this is kind of like a navy block that's the

back of it it has adjustable straps this is definitely a really cute summer top

that you will stand out and for sure so I definitely don't want to forget the

shoes that they sent me because these are so adorable these ones here come and

go silver and actually really like how

fresh think silver ones are this metallic shoe was something very

different from anything I've ever had before these are a size six and my foot

is a size six and the back of my heel is just hitting right at the back there so

they're not big they're just actually fitted perfect to size then I have a

pair of these black pumps over here they actually have this mesh detail right by

the front here and i love-love-love a point to heel like it's definitely my

favorite I do not really like the round in front of the heel this one I also got

in a size six and it still fits very very true to size so these are 34.9 and

these are 29.99 they're both really affordable so here are some shorts that

I got from them look at this mesh detail that's on the inside over here you can

definitely do like a very sporty sort of look with this like ah this is just so

adorable I can't even so it says here high-waisted and the price of these ones

is $29.99 and these ones are in a size 5 it also has this very like vintage wash

sort of feel as well to it and has a little bit of rips the back is just very

nice and sleek and clean which I really like about it so this top you guys I

also got myself from them when I went shopping I absolutely love this job

again I am trying a lot of these like different prints and patterns and I'm

really liking this checkered sort of look this one is in a size small and it

is $22 these straps are not adjustable but when I tried it on it fits me

perfect I honestly like did they style their clothes around my body like I just

I don't understand everything from them just fits me so so amazing and another

amazing thing you guys they have built in cuffs inside of here I don't even

have to wear a bra with it sometimes I feel like I just want to put it on and

go you know what I mean it's just so much easier I'll also show you guys the

back so that is what the back looks like it's just very very plain ok this top

very very cute it is a halter style top and it has a pinstripe to it so this at

the back it Criss crosses and then there's a tie at the back so when I wear

it I will show you guys how it works I actually really like the very high

halter neckline I think it's very very classy I got this one in a size small

and it is $14.99 so again like super affordable you can really dress this

look up with a pair of like trousers black trousers I never thought that I

would ever wear like a stripe or a checkered but I feel like these two

patterns I've really been liking them because they are

very like they're kind of subdued they're not too too crazy this is in a

very periwinkle fresh fresh blue color this one I have here in an extra small

because this top is super stretchy and this one is $19.99 this is in a more

knit sort of fabric a little bit more of a thicker sweater sort of fabric this

top is super super stretchy if you are a size small I would go down and do an

extra small I love this like frill detail over here I think it's just super

flirty and when you turn it around it just kind of continues around the arms

they're funny enough you guys this top is a super basic that normally you see

almost everywhere it just has your typical lace at the top here and going

along the sides underneath the arms there as well I've always wanted a top

like this and funny enough I've never been able to find one when you put it on

it is stretchy and it kind of feels like butter and just falls on you I would

definitely get your normal size I got this one in a size small and this one is

$12.99 the other thing that I really really love about this top is that the

straps are also very very stretchy I don't know if you guys can see but I'm

kind of stretching them they're not adjustable but I love that at least

they're stretchy so they kind of adjust to you and I love the way that it sits

on me so this one is a lace-up miniskirt super adorable and it is of course denim

and this one I got in a size 3 and I also have a size 5 it is $29.99 this one

is the lighter color and underneath I have the darker version of it and the

bottom has this very like slight frayed edge I've tried both of them on I prefer

how this size 3 fits me over the 5 the 5 just gives me a little bit more of a

comfortable room so if you want your true size I would go down one size with

this piece if you want it to be nice and snug on you and fitted it's hugging my

body nicely that's what I mean when I say fitted this is the last pair of

denim shorts that they sent me these ones are high-waisted it says right here

and these ones are in a size 5 I've tried these on as well and I absolutely

love the fit and these ones are $24.99 and on the back there there's a little

bit of rips on the two pockets so I'm gonna show you guys a look with the top

that I was wearing in my intro I absolutely love this Rob I'm like so

obsessed with it you guys so this is the size small again super stretchy this is

that material that can kind of just keep on stretching which I absolutely

it's so comfy is so movable off-the-shoulder I love love love

off-the-shoulder for spring and summer just because it's just a little bit

flirty and it's so innocent and pretty which I really really like and these are

the shorts with out the mesh detail so this is the one that's just a little bit

ripped as I was telling you guys they are very very short and you guys said

you guys want to see the back a little bit more so that's the back of them they

do go pretty short and love the rips on them they are so cute these ones say

that they're high-waisted but they're not super high-waisted because my waist

is up here and they're not going all the way up and I find out with sirens when

they do say high-waisted it's not this like crazy high waisted it is definitely

a little bit lower I'm just so obsessed with this top you

guys I love the color of it it's just I don't have anything in my wardrobe

that's this color and these shorts are the size 5 both of these shorts are size

5 this one fits me a lot like more comfortable whereas the other one is a

little bit more tighter and this is the floral crop top you guys look how

adorable this is like oh my god it's so cute just so that you guys know I am not

wearing a bra by now I don't feel like you need to with this top especially

because it has a very deep v-neck line you probably will find it a little bit

hard to find a bra that kind of fits this what I would do is use some nipple

covers and that's really all that you need and right now I'm wearing my

high-waisted forever21 short so these are the shorts I was telling you guys

about how they're longer than the other siren shorts that I just wore for you

guys so that's how it looks like from the back you guys they are a little bit

longer this is just a very fun and flirty like summer sort of look and

again this one is the size small I love how it fits my chest area it gives you a

little bit of cleavage and if I were to get the medium I feel

like it would have been kind of loose on my body I feel like right now it's just

nice and snug and fitted in that's just kind of how I like it and again with

this top you do get the adjustable straps are you guys feeling this outfit

favorite one from forever 21 I absolutely love this one if I can find

Cyrus's high-waisted lace-up skirt how adorable is the skirt oh my god this is

the lighter one I'm going to show the darker one I think with a white bodysuit

to show you guys the difference and I'm going to show you guys with bad

so now you guys want to see what the back looks like so that's what the back

looks like it's very very plain there's nothing really at the back this is the

size three surprisingly enough I've never been a three with them so these

must fit a little bit more stretchy and they are very thin and that's what makes

them super comfortable and movable I would definitely go one size down if you

guys wanted to just be like a comfortable fit so this is how much room

I have by the tummy area I still have a little bit I love it so much and overall

I just like this look I love all of with jeans so this is the second denim skirt

with the lace up front detail over here this one is the darker blue and this one

is also the size five so with the size five I wanted to show you guys I have a

lot more room on the front here and it kind of sticks out on the back here a

little bit and again it's the same thing on the back where it's just all nice and

plain there's just nothing really on the back even you can tell over here by my

waist area it is a little bit big you guys were requesting that I leave my

measurements down below I will definitely leave them in the description

box so that you guys can kind of compare them to what I am and it helps you just

kind of find your size a little bit better and do you guys see my little

metallic shoes that I'm wearing from them look how adorable these are I kind

of get like this like Austin Powers kind of vibes what I'm wearing these it's so

funny but I love them I think they're so adorable and I just think that it would

look really nice with like an outfit just like this where it's very classic

and then this kind of just like punches out on its own and I think that they

actually look really nice with the white just because it actually kind of shows

through with like the chrome sort of silver finish so this is the black

pinstripe crop top and I'm actually wearing it with shorts that are way too

big on me and I've actually had to like use a hair tie and make them tighter at

the back I'm gonna find some similar links down below and I'm also wearing

their black heels the one with the mesh detail on the front so that's what the

back looks like you guys I just kind of tied it once and as you guys can see my

hair tie at the back there trying to hold my my shorts all together make sure

everything looks good what I love about this top is that the tie at the back you

tie it to how it fits you so if you have a little bit of a larger waist or a

smaller waist you can make it tighter or looser I am wearing the mesh shorts

right now the moment like that little mesh sort of net insert over here it's

so cute I'm actually wearing it with a very deep v-neck line bodysuit from

forever 21 this is the size 5 that fits tighter than the last size 5 that I

showed you guys from Sirens the their denim shorts I don't really have

much room here so that sort of looks like from the back they are very plain

from the back they don't have any detail it's so funny because one of you guys

are like there's no way you're an a-cup I'm a c-cup and you don't look like you

have an a-cup I do to be honest with you the other bra that I have from Lindy on

Rose that I absolutely love it's there no underwire bra

it makes my chest look like I have like a sea chest but the bras of 34a and then

I've gone to firm 21 and we all know from 21 is very very petite when it

comes to their bras and I were small in their bras and I've tried the 34 a it

firm 21 and it fits me see that from the side of you I really don't so I'm

definitely not a c-cup I am wearing the periwinkle top the one with a little

frill on the side edges here so adorable I've actually tied it up on the front

here just to kind of make it a little bit more of like a crop summery top and

I'm just wearing it with a pair of white shorts that I have here these are

actually from I believe Old Navy but they're way too big so as you guys can

see at the back there I have had to tie it up again with the hair tie so these

pearls go kind of on the back as well around the arm there just like that I

will leave links down below to different shorts like white shorts black shorts

this top is the extra small as you guys can see I still have a ton of room I was

telling you guys that this top is super stretchy and it's definitely more of a

thicker knit sort of feel so I decided to put on my white midi skirt from

pretty little things I can show you guys you can definitely wear something like

this to kind of dress up this top a little bit more if you don't want it for

like a day outfit or something a bit more casual I feel like I'm like grown

in this outfit I am wearing it at that lace top it is so so pretty you guys and

again the straps they're perfect even though they're not adjustable because

they are super stretchy so they kind of fit your body which I absolutely love

this one I was telling you guys this size small and what it does is it kind

of just hangs on you it kind of just feels like butter it's

like this very slinky sort of fabric I don't normally wear long tops like this

but a top like this I actually do really like wearing it nice and long I just

love this top so much you guys it's so comfortable it just makes you feel like
