Welcome to our channel SMARTEKINDONESIA

So our channel contains documentation,

installation, troubleshooting,

and reviews about smart tech products

Everytime we watched Iron Man movie or Avenger, we definitely envy

Tony Stark. Because he has Jarvis.

So we always wondering when we can use

a tech product, or smart voice intelligent,

or artificial intelligent which resembles Jarvis.

But apparently this "Jarvis" is somewhat achievable

with nowadays technology.

Maybe its not as good as Jarvis yet,

but they have reached and slowly

become smarter and more sophisticated.

As a matter of fact, smart tech products are common in market,

especially in advance countries such as America,

Canada, England and also China.

Because we were curious, and KEPO,

we end up doing and trying those smart home products.

We'd love to make our daily activities

with that "Jarvis" we mentioned.

We finally tried some products such as

Smart plug, smart air conditioner,

Smart voice assistant, etcetera.

But unfortunately, Indonesia does not have

many smart devices, in example

smart product by Google, like Google Home,

actually the products not official yet, because Google itself doesn't have an official store here.

So if anything bad happens with the products, we're in trouble,

the nearest or most possible way is to get it to Singapore.

Most Smart products or devices are available in America.

That's why we shipped most products from America

for us to tried it,

and we tested the products whether it's pleasant to use and compatible in indonesia or not.

So today we would like to invite you to see our office set,

It's not perfect yet but we tried

to make it comfortable as we could,

with smart home devices that we had.

So if you "work" in our office,

you can work like a boss and of course

with sexy Alexa's help

Let's go.

Alexa, trigger working mode.

So guys, everytime i entered office room,

i just ask Alexa to trigger working mode

accordingly what i just set up before.

Alexa is not just controlling the lamp in this room,

She also helps to controll air conditioner,

air purifier, bugs repellant lamp,

and another smart products.

So when i sit down, i'll be able to start working immediately.

This working mode is also can be activated by my smartphone,

So it's quite flexible because we could activate it

from anywhere and anytime.

For example, at daytime when i almost reach office,

the room's temperature is fierce right?

I can command Alexa by my phone

to turn on my air conditioner,

so when i reach office, the room is already in cool temperature.

I also set this room with smart lamp,

which is Philips HUE. Of course you have heard about Philips HUE.

Philips HUE is quite easy to use because it could be set up by smartphone,

or voice assistant like Alexa or Google Home.

The surplus of Philips HUE is we can set the ambience according to what we want it to.

We can also controll from far away, for example,

We went home and we forgot to turn off the lamp, we just take our phone,

open Philips HUE apps, and we turn it off by phone.

This room's electrical plug are all Smart Plug.

What is Smart Plug? It means we can controll the Smart Plug

via our phone, so when we turn it on by phone, the plug is turned on.

In example, we can turn on our air purifier in office from home, we open the apps, select the plug we wanted, and done.

Like i told you guys before,

Those all compatible with

voice assistant.

And voice assistant we would like to discuss today is,

Alexa

not Google Home or Apple Home Pod/Siri

Why Alexa? Actually because we were curious with her voice

And by any chance Alexa is not common yet especially in Indonesia.

As for Google Home, maybe there are already Indonesians who review or heard.

But Alexa is not common for Indonesia

Besides that, many reviewer claimed that

Alexa is the best voice assistant for now. So we were curious, what are the advantages of her.

But for the next video we will also try to

compare to Google Home or Siri,

From there we could give you a few suggestions

For you to compare which products are

the most convenient for you.

But actually the most thing that impressed me is Alexa's skills itself

It could be basic skill such as :

"Alexa, how's the weather?"

"Alexa, how's the news today?"

But what i prefer is

some skills that more complexed from Alexa, for example :

"Alexa, play playlist accoustic love from Spotify"

"Alexa, trigger romantic mode"

You guys can see, the ambience is changing to be more romantic

We can say these skills were not that complex but simple and convenient to use.

And in fact Alexa still has alot more skills,

She may make calls, video call, or take a look at our CCTV, baby monitor cam etc.

There are still so many skills that we can learned for daily activities using Alexa.

But certainly Alexa is not perfect yer, she still has some bugs/error,

we will try to learn more about Alexa and we will share it to you.

One of many advantages of having Smart home devices is about daily routine activities.

If you are working with tight schedule, Alexa helps you alot.

In example you set Alexa make alarm at 6AM every morning, then the lamps turn on, and smart plug is turn on to preheat your coffee maker,

Those all you can do by your smartphone or by voice assistant Alexa.

Besides daily routine, we may also controll the scene according what we wanted,

Like romantic scene before, you may also controll how romantic it could be,

in example you may change the colour of the lamp, from red to blue or green or any colour.

One scene that i like is something like this,

"Alexa, trigger party time"

There are another(s) brand in smart home product which related to home security too

Eventhough here is still kind of rare, other countries use it alot, like smart smoke detector,

or sensor in particular in example, motion sensor, opened/closed sensor, etcetera

All those sensor are actually already smart, so it may improves the security in your home or office.

In this office we set up the motion sensor and opened/closed sensor

We set the sensor at outside of the room and on/near the door, to get notifications if there is a movement or the door opened outside working hours,

so it means there is an intruder or even a thief

Whenever the sensor is/are triggered, then you will received notifications on your phone and you can set what actions if the sensor triggered.

Specifically at this office, we already set up if there's a movement or the door opened outside working hours, the lamp will turn on

Actually there are many skills that we can use, but some skills also need another(s) smart home devices.

We happened to not having all Smart home devices, but we will keep growing,

and we apply it to our office or home.

And of course we will share to you in the next videos.
