Hero TX Cop Holding Onto Life Just Got Nasty Surprise From Parkland Cop Who Let Kids Get

A g****n opened fire at Santa Fe High School in Santa Fe, Texas, just outside of Houston

on Friday leaving at least 10 people d**d.

Nine students and one adult were among the casualties as the s******g erupted before

classes began for the day.

Multiple pipe-b*mb-type explosives were also recovered at the school and investigators

are still continuing to process the scene.

A suspect identified as 17-year-old Dimitrios Pagourtzis has been taken into custody.

Pagourtzis was said to have been armed with at least one r*fle or shotg*n believed to

be legally purchased by his father.

John Barnes, a police officer, was brought to a hospital in critical condition after

undergoing surgery after being shot in the chest.

This school s******g is considered the worst since the February 14, 2018 school s******g

in Parkland, Florida at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School when a former student Nikolas

Cruz k****d 17 people igniting a national debate on g*n control.

However, there is a significant difference between today's s******g in Texas versus

that of the s******g in February in Florida.

Today in Texas a police officer has undergone surgery and remains in critical condition

after engaging with the s*****r in an effort to stop him and secure the school.

In Parkland, former Broward County sheriff's deputy Scot Peterson failed to engage the

s*****r or even enter the building.

Yet the Sun Sentinel has obtained records from the Florida Department of Management

Services showing that Peterson is due to collect $8,700 per month in pension from Broward County

taxpayers.

That works out to slightly more than $104,000 a year.

Peterson resigned in disgrace in the weeks after the February 14 s******g when it was

revealed that he refused to enter the building where innocent people were being slaughtered.

According to his own testimony, Peterson was armed, in uniform and was on campus at Marjory

Stoneman Douglas High School on February 14.

The New York Times reported the day before Peterson's resignation that Coral Springs

Police Officer Tim Burton had seen Peterson in the school's parking lot "seeking cover

behind a concrete column leading to a stairwell."

President Donald Trump twice criticized Peterson, calling him a "coward."

President Trump stated to reporters at the White House: "When it came time to get in

there and do something, he didn't have the courage or something happened, but he certainly

did a poor job.

There's no question about that.

But that's a case where somebody was outside, they're trained, they didn't react properly

under pressure or they were coward.

It was a real shot to the police department."

Now 55-year-old Peterson will receive his full annual pension eligible in excess of

six figures for the rest of his life and Broward County taxpayers will cover 50% of his health

insurance premiums.

Peterson had been the school resource officer at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School since

2009, and he had been an employee of the Broward County Sheriff's Office since 1985.

The Sun Sentinel reports Peterson earned more than $101,000 during his final year of service

including a base salary of $75,600 and the additional income coming from overtime pay

and other forms of compensation.

According to Reason, this means "Peterson put in at least 25 years at the job, an important

threshold for accruing pension benefits under state law.

The pensions afforded to Florida's sheriffs are based on a calculation that starts with

an average of the employee's five highest-paid years.

That average is then multiplied by a percentage that varies based on how many years an employee

has worked and at what job.

Law enforcement employees and other public employees in so-called "high-risk" positions

earn a multiplier of 3 percent for every year worked.

(Other public workers earn a lower multiplier, usually 2 percent.)

After 25 years of service, a law enforcement employee like Peterson would have earned a

pension equal to 75 percent of the average of his five highest-paid years during his

final 10 years of employment.

Under Florida law, pension payouts are capped at 100 percent of this figure, which is known

as a 'final annual salary.'

This specific situation sheds light on the broader implications of public retirement

costs in Florida and around the country.

An employee like Peterson, who was by all accounts a typical deputy in the sprawling

Broward County Sheriff's Office before his unfortunate rise to national prominence this

month, is afforded a retirement package that kicks in at age 52 and allows him to collect

a pension even if he pursues other work after his retirement.

It's vastly different from what most private sector workers can expect to receive.

The difference is premised on the idea that Peterson put his life on the line in a high-risk

profession.

Except, of course, that Peterson did not put his life on the line when the moment arose.

But the payouts are virtually guaranteed, regardless of performance in the line of duty.

Under Florida law, public pensions can be revoked for felony offenses that 'breach

the public trust.'

While Peterson's actions in February may fit the spirit of that law, the letter of

the law identifies only a few specific crimes—embezzlement, theft, bribery, and child s*xual assault—for

which pensions

can be revoked."

Well, let's start analyzing it in the first version you had the basics, right?

You employed to correct over the shoulder shots and the medium shot of the third person. So what was the problem?

Well, thank you for asking. The biggest problem of the first version was this shot?

First of all, he was not introduced in any of the previous shots

second of all this shot shows only himself

Without any spacial relationship with other characters, and these will leads to confusion

Where the heck he is and who he is talking to there are other problems in the first version

So let's go through them while analyzing the second and correct version in the second version

I started off with a wide establishing shot now

This is the easiest way to show the audience the spacial relationship of the characters

At first glance then I move on to the basic over the shoulders just to shoot the main dialogue

That's how in this scene by the way, if you want to learn how to shoot a dialogue cinematic

Then in the next shot to fix the problem that we had in the first version I made

This medium child into this over the shoulder shot showing the special relationship and who he is talking to

Then comes this

10-seconds monologue

Although it's important to take a risk and make this monologue a one continuous shot

It's also important to show the audience other characters and how they are feeling about what he is talking about

So I put two of those reaction shots and the last thing

This thing about filmmaking is that you really want to avoid

Confusing the audience and one way of not making the audience confused is to make a one continuous shot

combining different shots together

So here I have two actors in one shot and by utilizing

focal change I made this one continuous shot which could have been two different shots and

Talking about continuous shot. This is what happened in the original movie

500 days of summer

Hunting a Box of Half Dollars - 1974 D DDO Found, and Other Finds! - Duration: 7:33.

I'm a little disappointed guys my bank gave away gave away one of my

half-dollar boxes she didn't think it was my box because I asked her I go does

that guy always order half dollars she goes no he asked if we had anything and

she goes and I knew I had saw two boxes back there and I knew one was yours I go

no the two are mine for now on so the bank knows about it they told the

tellers let's flip the camera and see what these look like

so here are the boxes because I didn't get my half they throw me in a box of

pennies but it's my favorite kind of boxes it's the yellow box with no holes

yellow boxes no holes let's go ahead and just see how what we got in here

hopefully it's got something good well

at first glance I don't see silver let me go and flip the rolls and see if

anything's on the other side well guys I don't see anything on this side either

and I'm gonna my sunroof and see if that helps you know what that does help but I

don't see any silver Enders on either side but not worried about it because at

the end of the day they're my favorite rolls and we've been on the road lately

hopefully they don't let me down but if they do you know what if they do we've

had a good run let's get these beauties home and let's

get these beauties opened well we're in the confines of our coin hunting room

and I just wanted to show you guys one more time this is the box nothing really

worthwhile on the ends so like I said early on let's crack into them and we'll

loop you in and let you know what we find along the way what a third role and

kind of a unique color looks like it's gold plated

yeah gold-plated 2008 gold-plated nifc Philadelphia Mint what happened to his

face oh well looks like somebody thought it might a bit gold and scraped the heck

out of it to confirm that it was plated what a shame but no porta sites is this

kind of a unique find and we'll get back to the hunt okay guys we're on a roll

number three and part of what I do is in the half dollars I always check for the

74 d with the double die obverse and if you look here there's some markers you can

see that they are is heavily doubled on the top and lower line you can see that

around the U it has doubling on the bottom left and the top you can see the

S has doubling all basically Southwest and the T obviously you can see the

doubling on the T I've got a really good candidate here and for a look I'm gonna

use my macro lens so let me put this on real quick and I want to show you what I

have right here this is a 1974 D and as you can see clearly obviously it's not

in great condition but that R has the same doubling do you the s and the T and

if you really look at that T you can clearly see we have a 74 d double

die obverse variety coin like I said it's not in the greatest condition and I'm

sorry for the shaking but I'm trying to hold this as still as possible zoomed in

as many times as I can we've got one that's definitely the same

as that and what's cool about it is the 74 had it been in mint state to be worth

40 bucks now it's not mint state at all coins in pretty bad shape at the end of

the day but it is a 74 double die obverse let's take a look at it under my

microscope as well here it is under the microscope and you can clearly see the R

has doubling the S has double e and that top right corner of this tea has

doubling as well so the markers on it are the R Us T or the r us especially

and again it's been worn a little bit so it's not as clean as a doubling as you

can see but it's definitely definitely doubled on the southwest corners of

pretty much all the letters like it's supposed to be and that matches that so

pretty cool find now let's get back to the silver hunt okay guys fourth roll in

and we've got a proof coin it's pretty circulated condition but it's a 1984 and

we'll take it all right so that's three unique finds so far in the first four

rolls a proof gold-plated and a seventy four double die obverse roll number 18

been awhile since we had a find but had to do a double-take on this one it's a

pretty worn proof 1983 but we'll take it it's our second proof of the box and 83

and 84 all right let's get back to the hunt see if we can find some silver well

we finished that box a half's and I'll tell you it's been a while since I was

silver skunked guys especially in the Loomis rolls but it happens and that's

why you got to keep picking up boxes and keep hunting them because you never know

when you gonna run across an epic one or even a good one for that matter at the

end of the day though it wasn't all to lust

we did get 6 nifcs so I'll take them we found two proofs in 84 and 83 not in

great condition maybe they were nothing in the box because the person who saw

him just didn't want them we got a NIFC gold-plated 2008 in

terrible condition somebody obviously wanted to ensure it wasn't gold they

could have just weighed it or could have felt it and know it wasn't

I think the find of the box was this 74 double-die obverse variety coin I wish it

was in better condition it's not I'll insert a couple of pictures here so that

you guys can take a closer look and let me know what you think I'm pretty

certain it's a double die obverse 74 D but you never know

at the end of the day I hope you enjoyed the home with me

Biggest Unanswered Questions In Deadpool 2 - Duration: 5:53.

Deadpool 2 is finally here, and it left fans with more than just a stitch in their sides

- it also left them with a lot of questions.

Sure, continuity and logic aren't exactly important in a Deadpool movie, but there are

still some questions we'd love to have answered even if those answers have absolutely no meaning.

So grab your stack of X-Force comic books, button up your 501's, and get ready for a

bumpy ride, because there's a high wind advisory in effect for the rest of this spoiler-filled

look at the biggest unanswered questions in Deadpool 2.

Where ARE the other X-Men?

"It's a big house.

It's funny that I only ever see two of you.

It's almost like the studio couldn't afford another X-Man."

Ryan Reynolds and the rest of the Deadpool gang have made a lot of hay over the fact

that the only X-Men who appear in the two Deadpool movies are Colossus and Negasonic

Teenage Warhead.

While it was just a wink and nod one-liner in the first film, this time around, the rest

of the team actually makes a hilarious cameo, deliberately avoiding Deadpool because...

well, wouldn't you?

As funny as that was, though, we have to ask: where exactly are the rest of the X-Men during

the climactic final fight against Juggernaut?

One of the most dangerous mutant menaces in the world is attacking an orphanage filled

with vulnerable mutant children.

This is the entire reason the X-Men exist in the first place.

And yet, the only ones who bother to show up are, you guessed it, Colossus and Negasonic

Teenage Warhead, along with her new girlfriend, Yukio.

What else could possibly be going on that's so important Wolverine, Storm, Beast, and

the rest of the team couldn't be bothered to make an appearance?

Of course, they aren't quite the same without Hugh Jackman…

"I'm Wolverineeeeeeeeeee.

Claw Drop."

What happened to the rest of X-Force?

Arguably the funniest part in Deadpool 2 is the amazing sequence where the newly formed

X-Force tries to parachute down to attack the convoy carrying Russell, only for almost

every single one of them to be horribly - and hilariously - killed off in graphic and preposterous

ways.

Saddest of all, of course, is the death of gregarious everyman Peter thanks to acid vomit

taking out one of his arms - which kinda sucks.

Luckily, during the end credits scene, Deadpool uses Cable's time machine to go back in time

and change events so Peter is saved.

Which begs the question: what happened to the rest of X-Force?

Did Deadpool bother to save the lives of the rest of the team he assembled?

Or did he only save Peter?

We never find out, though his comment about how nobody liked Shatterstar suggests at least

one member of the team might not be back for Deadpool 3.

"X-Force!"

What's the deal with Cable?

In the comics, Cable has a lot going on.

He's actually from our time period, sent to the future to save him from the techno-virus

that is slowly turning him into a robot.

He's also the son of Cyclops and Jean Grey's evil clone, and usually uses his inherited

telepathic and telekinetic abilities to keep the virus in check.

Oh, and he comes back from the future to protect the prophesied mutant messiah, Hope, who he

adopts as his daughter.

"I'm Cable.

And I'm from the future.

And I like blowing s--- up."

So, like... is any of that at all happening in the movies?

Is he still Scott and Jean's son?

Is Hope an adopted mutant messiah?

Does he have the technovirus, or is that just a robot arm?

Does he have mutant powers?

At several points in Deadpool 2 his weapons fly across the room to him - is that telekinesis,

or some kind of technological gadget?

In short, we know almost nothing about the movie version of Cable.

Here's hoping we get to know a lot more about him in the future - no pun intended.

Is Vanessa actually Death?

So… is Vanessa actually the avatar of Death?

Bear with us on this one.

In the first Deadpool film, Wade Wilson has a super healing factor that even kept him

from dying when he was stabbed through the brain.

That's pretty powerful.

But in Deadpool 2, his power levels seem to be cranked up more than a few notches.

In fact, he completely blows himself apart in the opening sequence, with his head flying

off and all his limbs going every direction, only to get pieced back together.

In effect, Deadpool is now immortal, something he mentions several times in the film, claiming

he just can't die.

This is actually true in the comics, where Wade falls in love with Death, who takes the

form of a beautiful woman.

Death has a jealous ex, though, who you might know: Thanos.

He curses Deadpool with immortality so that Wade and Death can never be together, only

meeting occasionally in brief flashes of the afterlife when he is literally on death's

door - just to be yanked back to life no matter how hard he tries.

That sounds a whole lot like the relationship Wade and Vanessa have throughout Deadpool

2 after she is killed in the opening sequence.

Sure, he eventually brings her back to life during the end credits sequence.

But still, we have to wonder if Vanessa is actually Death, which would explain why he

can't die, why he sees her when he's close to dying, and even why he got cancer as soon

as they started a relationship.

Hmm!

Will there be a Deadpool 3?

Finally, the big question on everyone's mind: will there even be a Deadpool 3?

With Deadpool 2 set to become another box office smash, it's a no brainer that the folks

at 20th Century Fox would love to make another one.

And fans are certainly clamoring for it.

But Ryan Reynolds recently told Entertainment Weekly that he's not so sure.

Why?

Well, for the best of reasons: he's not convinced it would be a good story, saying.

"In order for [Deadpool] to function properly within his own universe, you need to take

everything away from him.

I don't think that you can keep doing that.

I do see him as being a part of X-Force, obviously.

I would love to see him in a team-up sort of thing.

[...] I just think if you're going to do another Deadpool solo film, you've got to really,

like, get that budget down to nothing and just swing for the fences, and break all kinds

of weird barriers, and do stuff that no one else can do."

Luckily, there's an X-Force film currently in development, and the end of the film certainly

seems to set up a team spinoff.

So one way or another, there looks to be more Deadpool in our future - and hopefully, more

Peter too.

Anton Du Beke, 51, has admitted that his future on the show is not set in stone – and might not even be a part of the upcoming series of Strictly Come Dancing.
