All right, guys. I'm back with a review of another flavor from Killer Whey. It's
their vanilla bean flavor, Chilla in Vanilla. IT MUST BE THE GREATEST!
Hey, guys. Welcome to A.D. Keto. My name is Aaron. This is the channel where you can watch a
weird dad work his way through the ketogenic diet. I do some keto food vlogs,
I do some keto product reviews, and do some keto recipes. If this is your first

so I just realized that when Muhammad Ali / Cassius Clay yelled out, "I must be
the greatest!", it was not after his bout with George Foreman, which was, of course,
The Thrilla in Manilla, which is what Killer Whey has named this ice cream
after. The Chilla in Vanilla. At any rate, I'm doing another review of an ice cream
from Boise Idaho company, Killer Whey. they make keto-specific ice cream. Ice cream
that's made for people who are doing the ketogenic diet, which is very exciting.
You know, often it's like, Halo Top is keto- friendly, Enlightened is keto-
friendly. This is... this is FOR keto, guys. This is for us. If you've seen my reviews
before, you'll know that I break my reviews down into three parts. First I
talk about the texture. How does it feel coming out of the pint? What's it feel
like in my mouth? This I have left... I took it out of the freezer 50 minutes ago. 5-0.
So it has been almost an hour of sitting, waiting for me to dig in. The next
part of the review is the taste. Do I like it? I'm a big fan of vanilla ice
creams in general, vanilla bean. So we'll see how this stacks up against all the
other ones, and the last is the carbs, and that's where this thing is going to
crush it. Spoilers: it's really really low in net
carbs. So let's get into it. This is Chilla in Vanilla. There it is.
Again, it has been nearly an hour since I took this out. Let's see what the
texture is like. So you know, again, it's just a touch shardy. Kind of li...whoops. Kind
of like it was last time, but that's only, I think, on the top.
Around the sides, it's gonna be a little bit smoother.
Interesting. Wow that doesn't taste a whole lot like
other vanilla flavors that I've had, but I gotta say, I really like it. I really do
like that. it tastes like actual vanilla. It um... it's
tough to explain. But you know when you get something that's vanilla-flavored?
I think I've become accustomed to what that tastes like.
This tastes more like what vanilla extract smells like, if that makes sense,
and tastes like, I guess. Definitely tastes like what vanilla is supposed to
taste like, I think.
Yeah, I like that I like it quite a bit.
It's not super-super sweet, but it does taste like vanilla, which is a major plus.
I'll read the entire nutrition information: 150 calories (130 of those
calories from fat) total fat 15 grams, which is awesome. 10 grams of saturated
fat. 3 grams of protein. 12 total carbs, two dietary fiber, eight sugar alcohols. 2
grams of net carbs per serving. 8 grams of carbs in this entire pint. That's
fantastic. All-natural, no sugar added. And M... this is
what they are saying.. "M T C oil". I think that's supposed to say MCT oil. Just a
heads up there, guys that Killer Whey. I'll read you the ingredients, because that's
also another major plus for these guys. Ingredients: cream, filtered water,
erythritol, whey protein concentrate, chicory root fiber, MCT oil, vegetable
glycerin, pure vanilla extract, vanilla bean, stevia, xanthan gum, locust bean gum,
guar gum. Contains milk and coconut. That wasn't a list of 50 different
things I couldn't pronounce. All the ingredients are pretty natural. So it is
$9 a pint. That is the downside. but they're a small company. Their product is
available physically in stores in just three locations: Boise, Idaho, Salt Lake
City, Utah, Ogden, Utah. Everything else is online, so they're
shipping stuff out, and you do need to order -- when you do place an order with
these guys -- you gotta order four pints in order for them to be able to ship
something to you and have it make sense for them. So in total it's gonna run
thirty-six bucks for four pints of this. BUT! If you watch my video up here
of their Coco You Know flavor, you'll know that I have a coupon code. It's KETOAD10.
And I was mistaken as to what that code will give you. I had a viewer
use the code and say, "Hey, I got 10 BUCKS off, not 10%!" I was like,
"Really? I must have misunderstood!" 10 bucks off is SO much better than 10% off.
Considering that you're spending 36 bucks to get four pints, that $10 off
will cover the shipping. So use that code at checkout,
KETOAD10. $10 off. And do try to support these guys. They're doing it right.
There's a lot of fat in this ice cream, which is something you can't say about
Halo Top or Enlightened, or any of these other keto-friendly ice creams. These
guys are making ice cream for keto people. I will try to review their other
flavors in the coming weeks. There's a mint flavor and a peanut butter flavor, both
of which are in my freezer right now. So that's my review of Chilla in Vanilla.
Hope you guys have a fantastic day, and I will see you next time.
