Jurgen Klopp on why he believes Dejan Lovren is a "world-class" defender - Duration: 5:58.

Jurgen Klopp on why he believes Dejan Lovren is a "world-class" defender

Dejan Lovren may be one of the most divisive players in the Liverpool squad, but Jurgen Klopp is clearly a huge admirer of the Croatian.

Lovren has struggled to convince the masses ever since joining the Reds from Southampton in the summer of 2014.

At the time, he was seen as a key acquisition at centre-back, with many confident he would shore up a defence that had leaked 50 Premier League goals in 2013/14.

The last four years have been a string of false dawns for Lovren, however, with good runs of form often ruined by catastrophic mistakes.

Perhaps his lowest moment came in the 4-1 defeat to Tottenham at Wembley last October, when two terrible mistakes early on both led to goals, before Klopp substituted him with just 31 minutes played.

It looked like the end of Lovrens Liverpool career at that point, but he has responded admirably, generally proving reliable in the Reds march to the Champions League final.

In an interview with Robbie Fowler in the Mirror, Klopp admits he was furious with the 28-year-old after that Spurs game, but also truly believes he is a world-class defender:.

I took Dejan off after 25 minutes and I didnt speak to him afterwards.

But then a few days later I saw him waiting for my talk, so I said, come in.

You took me off after 20 minutes.

Because you were bad.

But I said to him—maybe this was the decisive moment when he got it—I think hes a world-class centre-half, 100 percent.

Yes with weakness, concentration can happen from time to time, could be harder here, whatever.

But he is a world-class centre-half, otherwise he would not be here any more.

Kolo Toure left, Martin Skrtel left, Mama Sakho left, a lot of centre-halves we had all left.

Hes still here, I am not blind and I am not silly.

Especially because the whole crowd would be happy if we do it—it would be easy [to let him go].

But I am completely convinced about him.

That is all there is to it.

So he hears I think hes a world-class centre-half, and that maybe helped him, I dont know.

But its really the thing that players need help in these moments, and they need a clear opinion.

They respect me, so if I think they are good, then they start thinking themselves they are good.

And Dejan Lovren is 100 percent a world-class player..

Klopp also spoke passionately about sticking up for his players and taking the blame for bad days at the office:.

I can take the pressure, I really can take it.

I dont know why, but I can take the pressure.

Another little agreement with my players: for the good performance, they are responsible.

For the bad performance, I am responsible.

That is really important.

Football players need someone around who is there for them in the decisive moments, and I really feel that is my job to do..

Liverpool have both a special manager and a special human being in charge of the club in Klopp, and the ways he handles his players is inspirational.

Whether or not he honestly believes Lovren is world class is up for debate, but he knows how to get the very best out of his players in terms of boosting their self-esteem.

Compare his style with that of Man United manager Jose Mourinho, who is currently throwing his players under the bus at every given opportunity, and it is the polar opposite.

There is nobody better for the Liverpool job, and hopefully Saturdays final against Real Madrid will be the greatest night of his managerial career to date.

Mohamed Salah's remarkable impact on Arabic and Muslim communities - Duration: 6:19.

Mohamed Salah's remarkable impact on Arabic and Muslim communities

Mohamed Salah's sensational impact on the field has taken the football world by storm but the effect he is having off it, while more subtle, is arguably equally significant.

Liverpool's Egypt international has, unwittingly, become a standard-bearer for the Arabic and Muslim communities and his impact has spread from Anfield, through the streets of his adopted city to the wider world.

Within the city limits the Salah appreciation society grows by the day and it is not just among the traditional fan base.

Take 11-year-old Rawan Zadeh, the daughter of a British Iraqi, for example.

Salah's arrival at Liverpool inspired her to take up football, having never played before.

My daughter wasn't a football fan but now she is a fan of Mohamed Salah and his team, Rawan's mum Malath Ali told Press Association Sport.

She has changed completely and started playing football as well at school as a result.

I've always encouraged her to play any kind of sport, it doesn't matter if you are wearing a [head] scarf, so now she likes to play football.

Now with Salah she finds the other kids ask her about being a Muslim.

It has brought them together a bit more as they are interested to know more.

I feel as if he has an influence on the kids.

It is a view which appears to be borne out among the youngsters attending the Liverpool Arabic Centre's Saturday School on Granby Street.

He is like an Arab version of Gerrard.

He is a great player, well respected, and I think it is great for all Muslims everywhere because it sends out a good message, said 13-year-old Yousaf Majid.

I've personally suffered from bullying about things that have happened (Muslim terrorist attacks) so to have someone who is an Arab at one of the most successful clubs it makes people think Wait, are all Arabs like this? Really, are all Muslims bad?.

I think that makes Muslims feel safer because it makes people think what they are going to say.

Salah appears to be breaking down boundaries like few footballers before him, as Shada Nasser, a lawyer and human rights activist from Yemen, explains.

Before Mohamed Salah I didn't give football much attention but then I changed my life and I heard Mohamed Salah, the Egyptian King, had come to Liverpool and was now a hero, she said.

He is a good example for Arab countries.

He gave me the power to follow football games..

Haitham Mossa, of Yemeni descent, is a regular Anfield-goer and believes Salah is helping to build bridges between communities.

Before Salah signed I went to Anfield before we played Manchester United with a Yemeni flag, red, white and black, and someone said to my dad That's a Man United flag, take it down, he said.

Because we have signed Salah I say to everyone it is an Egyptian flag (same colour co-ordination) and they are all high-fiving me and hugging me.

I go along with it.

It has helped inter-faith relationships between different groups because people have stereotypes of Muslims, Christians, Jews.

Fans have even embraced Salah's religion in a chant, singing (to the tune of 1990s band Dodgy's Good Enough) if he scores another goal then I'll be Muslim too.

How appropriate that is has been questioned in some quarters but Zane Abdo, Muslim adviser and chaplain to the University of Liverpool and Liverpool John Moores University, believes it shows how he has changed perceptions.

What is there to be upset about? What offence is there to be taken? Every single Muslim I know have all said it is really good, he said.

It is like what Mohamed Ali did in the boxing world, albeit very different people, in terms of getting people to accept who he is and accept the name.

Mohamed Ali and Mohamed Salah—and Mo Farah—have all done that.

It challenges a lot of the stereotypes.

I think if he scores and they win the Champions League he will go down in people's hearts.

Princess Cruises Royal Princess Cruise Ship Tour - Duration: 7:50.

Join me as we take a tour of the magnificent Royal Princess, part of the

Princess Cruises fleet. I'm Gary Bembridge of Tips For Travellers. I'm here on board

the Royal Princess, and I'm going to show you around every part of this ship.Tthe

Royal Princess was originally launched in 2013 and was christened by Her

Royal Highness the Duchess of Cambridge. There are 19 decks, it holds 3,560

passengers and right across the ship there is a lot of things to do. What I

like about the Royal Princess is the decor. It feels very understated. It feels

very stylish but at the same time it feels pretty luxurious. It's not

glitzy, it's not brash, it's very refined. So what about the choice of things to do?

In terms of dining, included in your fare are a whole lot of options including

dining in one of the three main restaurants. You can either go for

traditional dining (so early sitting or late sitting) and you'll have the same table,

the same waiting staff or you can go for "anytime dining" which basically means

that the dining room is open normally around about 5:30 until nine o'clock in

the evening and you can either make reservations or just arrive and be either

sitting by yourself or with other people if you want to meet people. Other dining

options which are included in the fare: You have the Horizon Court, which is the

huge buffet restaurant with lots of choice. And it's open for breakfast, lunch

and dinner and has all sorts of amazing foods. They also have a fantastic area,

which is hugely popular, with the most amazing range of pastries. The

Horizon Court buffet is really really popular. There's a 24-hour dining option

which is called the International Cafe down in the Atrium. Food appropriate to the

time of day id served here. It's also a coffee shop where you can have your

specialty coffees. Every afternoon at around about 3:30 in the afternoon is

afternoon tea, served very traditional afternoon tea and that's included within

the fare. You can also go for the Royal afternoon tea which does have a

surcharge and this is held within the atrium. You also have 24-hour

room service which is included in the fare and also you can have dining at

Alfredo's pizza - really really tasty pizza. In terms of alternative dining

venues there's the Crown Grill. This is steak and seafood

which is renowned across the fleet. There's an Italian on board called

Sabatini's, again a very popular spot. You also have a sushi option which is called

the Ocean Terrace Seafood Bar. You can get free ice cream up in the Horizon

Court but there's also a gelato shop where you can have various gelato

or Sundaes, and there is an additional charge here. There is an enormous

selection of bars. Many of the popular bars are located close to or

around the Magnificent atrium area. The atrium is the real heart of the ship and

that stretches between decks five, six and seven. So some of the most popular bars

include the Vines which is a wine bar, Bellinis bar which is a really great bar

which overlooks the atrium, you have the Wheelhouse Bar which is located just

near the Crown Grill, Crooners bar is a really popular venue before or after dinner,

and you have someone playing the piano here. And then if you're looking for

something later at night there's Club Six. This is the nightclub and it goes on

to all hours of the early morning. In terms of entertainment on board of course the

most important entertainment venue of all is the Princess Theater. This is a

massive theater and it holds around about 950 people with two shows in the

evening and it's either a production show or will be various guest artists

brought on board. Also in the theater you'll have the enrichment lectures

where speakers talk about history or destinations. Another popular

entertainment area is the Vista lounge on deck 7 and there might be bands

performing or singers performing in here during the evening. Sometimes during the

day there will be a string quartet or some music down in the atrium area.

Another really important entertainment area is the casino. This is

a huge casino with lots of very modern machines and lots of tables. Really popular

venue. One of Princess Cruises signatures is Movies under the Stars, and this is a

massive big screen out on the pool deck where they may show concerts during the

day and they will often show movies in the evening. Princess Live is kind of the

television studio space onboard and a lot of the quizzes are held in here

and if there's ever any sort of events or talks these can also be held in here.

In terms of fitness and the outdoors: first of all of course there are

swimming pools. The Fountain Pool which is where the Movies under the

Stars are and then you have the retreat pool (which is actually my favorite pool)

towards the front of the ship and near the Sanctuary. The Sanctuary is a premium

area where you can hire a cabana or beautiful loungers here and relax in a

more quiet and peaceful area if you don't want to sort of hang around

by either Retreat pool or the Fountain pool. You have a huge and very

well-equipped fitness center, and you also have classes held in here. The

classes held in here tend to have an extra charge associated with them,

however if you're into something like Zumba often and particular sea days

there's Zumba classes held right down in the Atrium, and they are included within

your fare. If you're into running there is a very nice running track out on deck,

and then there's also other sports facilities including a place where you can

practice golf, there's places we can play sport outside and often there'll be

various sports activities held out on the sports deck. There's a huge big spa

on board and this is called the Lotus Spa, where you can have your various

treatments. They have saunas and hairdressers. If you're planning to

get married at sea, there is a wedding chapel where you can actually get

married or renew your vows. There's a number of Kids Clubs and their zoned

around different age groups. There will be programs run in the morning, the

afternoon and the evenings. On the Royal Princess there's a wide range of

shops. Of course you'll also have the photographic section where all the

various photographs taken during the cruise are for sale, a little camera

shop and then there are the other shops which sell pretty much everything you

want so jewelry, clothes, watches, cosmetics, there's a chocolate shop on

board and also there is one of those things that many cruise ships have -

the artworks and the art auction section. There are laundry rooms dotted

around the ship, and these are pretty big. There is a cost for using them but it's

not very much. Of course you're going to have things like your shore excursions

desk, you're going to have your future sales desk and of course guest service

desks. So the usual sort of facilities you would expect. The Royal Princess is a

very beautiful ship. It's got a very stylish decor,

it feels very luxurious, it feels very premium, it feels a little bit understated,

it's not loud and glitzy and I really like the feel of the ship. It did

just have a nice calming feel to it and a very stylish feel to it. As I mentioned

earlier it doesn't have all the glitz that you might have on a resort style

ship with climbing walls, ice-skating rinks, bowling rinks. It tends to be a

relatively traditional style cruising, really focusing on the accommodation,

focusing on places to eat and to drink, to socialize and of course traditional

shows and talks. It's a big ship with lots and lots of choice. I really like

the ship, as you can probably tell, and hopefully this video has helped you

decide if this is a ship suitable for you. If you enjoyed the video I'd love it

if you "liked" the video. You can watch many more videos about Princess Cruises

with lots of tips and advice and other ship tours on the channel and very

importantly please subscribe to Tips For Travellers and get much more travel

inspiration, advice and tips.

🔴 BIKE RUFF SMYINZ CUSTOM DETAILS - Duration: 1:41.

This bikes was designed and built using Ruff Cycles frame model Smyinz in 2015

The full fabrication took about five months because many parts had to

be designed and handmade in aluminum as

the mudguard, mudguard support, headlight, headlight support, chain wheel,

springer forks, central thank (or kind of thank) and as well the frame changes

The frame is slightly changed in other to make the bike look longer and held the real leather thank

To build the perfect mudguard I had to build two

papier-mâché models before the final metal construction

The springer forks was another big challenge. I have a video about it in this channel

Handlebar and thank are covered by real leather made especially for this bicycle

Chain wheel is specially designed for the best performance, visual and to protect

the fat tires against the chain rubbing on them

Even the rear light is customized with a red lense with my own logo engraved on it

Sarah Sanders: It 'Bothers Me' Being Called A Liar - Duration: 5:13.

Sarah Sanders: It 'Bothers Me' Being Called A Liar

WASHINGTON ― White House press secretary Sarah Sanders says it bugs her when people accuse of her lying to the press.

"It certainly bothers me," she told The New York Times in a Wednesday article.

"Because one of the few things you have are your integrity and reputation.".

But Sanders has told lots of lies, and it's not hard to give examples.

PolitiFact cites four times the White House press secretary gave objectively false information.

She said in a November briefing that diversity visa immigrants are not vetted (false).

She said in an October briefing that Chicago, which has high rates of gun-related crimes, has the toughest gun laws in the country (pants on fire!).

She claimed in July that President Donald Trump has "in no way, form or fashion has ever promoted or encouraged violence" (false), despite videos showing otherwise.

In March 2017 she said "multiple news outlets" reported that when he was president, Barack Obama ordered wiretapping of Trump (false).

Some of the things Sanders has said are laughably untrue.

She insisted this month that the Trump administration is "committed to a free press" ― right after Trump hinted at stripping reporters of their credentials and claimed, once again, that mainstream news outlets critical of his presidency are "fake news.

In May 2017, she claimed there was not "ever an attempt" to blame Trump's firing of FBI Director James Comey on Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, despite a statement that week from then–press secretary Sean Spicer putting the blame squarely on Rosenstein.

In her defense, Sanders' job sounds bananas.

She has to provide accurate information given to her by a president who lies all the time.

And in this White House, the level of chaos and turnover has been so high, it's not hard to imagine that something that may be true in the morning is no longer true by that evening.

"There's a difference between misspeaking or not knowing something than maliciously lying," Sanders said in the Times piece.

But part of her dishonesty is in her unwillingness to acknowledge when the president has said something that just isn't true.

When a reporter asked Sanders in October why Trump kept falsely saying that the U.S.

is the highest-taxed nation in the world, she gave a hilariously nonsensical answer. In July, when Trump randomly criticized Rosenstein for being from Baltimore, even though he is from Philadelphia, Sanders couldn't even admit that was wrong.

She said Trump was making a "general statement.".

Reporters confronted Sanders earlier this month about why she falsely told them that Trump did not reimburse his lawyer, Michael Cohen, for $130,000 in hush money to adult-film star Stormy Daniels just before the November 2016 election.

"You said, on March 7, 'There was no knowledge of any payments from the president, and he's denied all of these allegations,'" CNN's Jim Acosta said during the May 3 press briefing.

"Were you lying to us at the time, or were you in the dark?" .

Sanders said only that Trump still denies the allegations by Daniels.

"I gave you the best information that I had, and I'm going to continue to do my best to do that every single day," she said.

As Sanders does her best to be truthful, there's one group she has no problem calling out as liars: all 16 women who say Trump sexually assaulted them.

What Do You Say To Sexist Passengers? This Female Pilot Has The Perfect Response. - Duration: 2:11.

What Do You Say To Sexist Passengers? This Female Pilot Has The Perfect Response.

This female pilot is using Twitter to call out two sexist passengers.

A British aviator who is known online as Charlotte The Pilot hit back at two male passengers who'd insulted women pilots on a recent flight:.

   .

"Baffled as to why 2 male pax felt that these comments were necessary," Charlotte Knowlson wrote, before sharing their sexist remarks about women flying aircraft.

″'Are you the pilot? If I'd know (sic) I wouldn't have got on,'" she writes in a tweet, attributing the quote to one of the passengers.

"Fact is," she responds.

"I can fly an £80m jet, you can't." .

In subsequent tweets, Knowlson revealed her initial response was to "be professional, laugh and ask them if they were enjoying the flight.

" She rethought her stance, however, after a flight attendant "expressed her anger.

The kind of attitude exhibited by those passengers puts women off pursuing careers in male-dominated industries, she said.

Knowlson added that she "didn't get where I am today by listening to these kinds of comments.".

"I'm not offended, I'm not disheartened," she wrote.

"I'm saddened by the fact that this is the attitude some still have and think it is ok to make these comments to women.".

Improve America's Diet by Changing the Default Options - Duration: 2:09.

- It's difficult for people in our society to eat healthy,

because a lot of the default options,

the options that are in front of people

are not the ones that we are particularly recommended.

And I think about the average person

that's getting through life has a lot of things going on,

and they stop off somewhere real quickly.

I think if we can improve the quality

of the easy kinds of foods to grab,

little changes are gonna add up.

We're all gonna become a bit healthier.

Or at least, we're going to reduce

our risk of chronic disease.

We have a very good example.

Where the New York City health department decided they were

going to ban the use of partially hydrogenated fat,

which was the major source of trans fatty acids in the diet.

We know that trans fatty acids are associated

with increased risk of cardiovascular disease.

Some of us have more time and resources

to put into our health, some of us have more education.

However, the whole idea of changing default options

is it really doesn't matter, it's free for everyone.

And everyone is going to benefit.

For example, if you go to essentially any restaurant,

any level of restaurant,

it's rare you're going to see whole grain bread,

as opposed to white bread.

And you know, why is that?

I suspect people,

if the whole grain bread was served to them,

they would be eating the whole grain bread.

So that's one default option.

Another is why do we always have salt shakers on the table?

Particularly in restaurants.

When we're asking people to cut down on their sodium intake.

I would love to see, when the people order an entree,

that automatically, a green vegetable comes with it.

Or if they order a sandwich,

that it's not automatically fries that comes with it.

Of course, everyone should have free choice,

if they wanted the less healthy options,

but not to automatically have it.

So you don't have to think about it.

But it's just easy to make the healthier choices.

Archer | Inside Season 9: Making Archer (Part Four) | FXX - Duration: 2:48.

[CELL DOOR CREAKS AND SLAMS]

I'm very sorry, madame, but we have

strict law against vagrancy, and you have no money.

Ugh!

[INAUDIBLE] For your dinner, one turnip.

[PLANE ENGINE RUNNING]

AMBER NASH: We are here at Floyd County Productions,

where they make "Archer."

MAN: Here at Floyd County, we also have a Harmony department,

which is another animation software that

can do a different style of animation

that looks more traditional.

This is Chaz Zoubek.

He leads the Harmony team, So Chaz, why does Archer use two

different animation programs?

Well, Harmony comes in when the script has a shot that

requires just a little more fluidity or that seems a little

more three-dimensional.

We can draw straight in the program

rather than going back to illustration for

additional keys and drawings.

So while the illustrators are working on characters

and props, there's a whole other team

that's working on backgrounds.

And it's led by Diego Penuela.

So let me ask--

last season, for "Dreamland," it was much darker in color

because of the film noir genre.

So what's different for "Danger Island" this year?

We are meant to be on an island,

so it's going to be more colorful, and sunny, and shiny.

So we're trying to use a lot of very saturated colors.

It all is made to look very happy,

and shiny, and warm as well.

MAN: And they're helped out by the 3D department that creates

3D backgrounds so that we can move

the camera anywhere we want.

WOMAN: They usually do vehicles or anything that is

boxy and maybe rotating around.

So now we're in the 3D department

that is led by Chris Appel.

So Chris, how much 3D animation actually goes

into an episode of "Archer?"

CHRIS APPEL: A great deal.

We have two main responsibilities here--

we create all the background stuff for the background artist

to paint.

That's something we've done since the very beginning

of "Archer," and it's a big job for us

to create all those environments of Archer

traveling all over the world.

But more recently, we are doing the animation,

and we're doing any of the shots that

involve cars, planes, trains.

Anything where we have mechanical objects moving,

we animate that stuff.

And it all has to be done in layers

so that they can composite all the characters in.

But it's added a whole new dimension

to what the show can do.

[PUNCH]

MAN: The changes over the last few seasons

has given our staff a chance to really

show off their artistic skill.

MAN: What you see on TV, somebody back there has drawn

it or staged it in a way that they all

have a hand in the production.

So that's everything that goes into making

an episode of "Archer."

And what I learned today is that I've got the easiest job here.

The yellow J - Duration: 2:31.

Okay you chose the case with the yellow J. To have the yellow cross, you have to put

your cube like this and do this algorithm R' U' F' U F R and you have the yellow cross.

But now, you have to check if your yellow cross is correctly done.

Each edge piece must be above the center piece with the same color as it : red and red, green

and green, orange and orange, blue and blue. You can be in three cases.

In the first case, all is good, the cross is correctly done like this.

In the second case, you have to turn the up face, no, no, no yes, this one, no no no no

yes yes okay. Red and green are good.

Blue and orange are bad. So in this case, you have two edge pieces

correctly placed side by side and two bad side by side.

In the third case, you have to turn the up face, no no no yes no yes no okay.

So, in this case you have two opposites pieces correctly placed.

As earlier identify your case and click on the corresponding video to do the next step.

It's not queer representation if it isn't in the movie | Riley J. Dennis - Duration: 6:04.

Recently, it was announced that Lando Calrissian from the newest Star Wars movie, Solo, is

"sexually fluid" and pansexual.

At first glance, you might think that this is a win for queer representation.

A character who isn't straight in a major Hollywood film, and one owned by Disney nonetheless.

And that would be super cool, if he was actually shown in any way to be queer in the movie itself.

The problem is, nobody watching Solo is going to know that Lando is queer, and so can you

really call it representation?

I don't think so.

Representation doesn't count if most people watching the movies aren't going to see the representation.

The reason we strive for better queer representation in movies and TV shows is because it normalizes

being gay or bi or trans or any other identity, and it gives queer people someone to look

up to -- someone for them to say, "Wow, I could be like that."

But when you have characters in your movies who you say are queer but who never show it

on-screen, that doesn't normalize anything.

If anything it furthers the heteronormative and cisnormative idea that anything that's

not straight or cisgender has to be hidden out of sight.

And you don't give queer people anyone to look up to, because the only future you're

allowing them to see is one where they can't be accurately represented on screen because

they have to hide their sexual orientation or gender.

You have young queer people saying, "Wow, I could be like that, if I want to suppress

this core part of who I am."

It's just in no way representation.

So why does this even happen if it's not even representation for the queer community?

Well, I'd argue it's so that filmmakers can incentivize queer audiences to see their

movie while not alienating more conservative audiences.

Because the online queer community is packed full of people starving for representation

who are willing to rally behind films with queer characters.

That's a potentially very enthusiastic audience that filmmakers are gonna want to reach.

But at the same time, lots of folks in the US and the world in general still aren't

comfortable with the existence of queer people.

So if you were to have a character be obviously queer on-screen, it could potentially deter

a very large conservative audience, which would be bad for business.

So, having the film itself lack any queerness, while stating behind the scenes that a character

is queer, gives them the best of both worlds.

They get that energetic online queer community, and hopefully don't scare off too many conservatives.

But I also think this kind of fake representation helps the straight cisgender people who make

these movies feel better about themselves.

They get to give themselves a pat on the back because they're a ~good ally~ who added

a *whole* queer character to their movie.

I think it's at least in part a selfish move by them to make them feel like they did

"the right thing" without any real effort or additional work.

But I think that if you really wanted to help queer people, you'd prioritize their right

to exist prominently on-screen over the feelings of a conservative audience.

And of course, this kind of queerbaiting is nothing new.

After all the Harry Potter books had come out, JK Rowling said that Dumbledore was gay.

In 7 books, she'd never managed to even mention that slightly, but oh yeah, he was for sure gay.

And then, in the newer Fantastic Beasts movies, they had a chance to make Dumbledore's sexual

orientation more prominent.

I mean, the movies are literally about Dumbledore fighting Grindelwald,

the guy he had a crush on / maybe dated.

But the director of these movies, David Yates,

has said they won't explicitly address Dumbledore's sexual orientation.

Like, how is that even possible?

It's a pretty integral part of the story.

They're really gonna have to twist the plot in all sorts of ways to avoid talking about

his gayness that will just make it convoluted and nonsensical, not to mention that it's

a slap in the face to queer people.

JK Rowling said this character was gay but she didn't have a chance to say so in the

books, so they make movies about his back story, and surprise, still no evidence that he's gay.

That's just unbelievable.

Along with a bunch of things these movies are doing wrong, it's just massively disappointing

that a series that pretends to champion diversity and inclusion can't just let us have one

on-screen gay character.

And this has happened with plenty of other movies too.

There were characters in Beauty and the Beast, How to Train Your Dragon, Star Trek, Power

Rangers, and Thor Ragnarok that were all said to be queer off-screen, but none of them were

actually noticeably queer on-screen.

It's safe to say that this is a tired overused trope at this point, and I wish movies would

just give it a rest.

Either own up to the fact that you don't have any queer characters in your movie, or

stop being a coward and just throw some queers in there.

I mean, I'm just spitballing here, but you could even have *two* queer characters in *one* movie.

I know, mind-boggling, but we do tend to travel in groups, so it would make sense.

Have a bi character, have a gay character, have people just living their lives and loving

who they love and being who they are.

There's nothing wrong with that.

Because, yes, LGBTQ+ relationships and identities are 100% child-friendly.

Children have been just fine watching straight cis people kiss in like every Disney movie

ever, and they'd be totally fine to see queer people kiss.

There's nothing inherently not-child-friendly about queerness.

For a long time, there's been a stigma that being gay or being queer is about sex, and

so it's not child-friendly.

But that's bullshit.

Being queer is just as child friendly as being straight or cisgender.

Queer people fall in love, they have crushes, they get heartbroken -- it's not just about

sex, just like how straight cis relationships aren't just about sex.

We may slowly be accepting queer people more and more as society progresses, but it seems

like we still haven't really gotten to the point where our society can recognize that

queer relationships and identities are okay for children to see.

And we have to work to get there.

There will be pushback from homophobes and transphobes if we put queer people in movies,

but that's just how it's gonna be.

The fact that some hateful people are going to get offended over the existence of queer

people shouldn't take priority over allowing us to see ourselves represented on the big screen.

I always think of the young queer kids who are growing up today

and don't see themselves represented anywhere.

For many of us, that's partially what kept us in the closet for so long -- not seeing

ourselves represented anywhere.

I want things to get better for future generations, and that means giving queer kids people to

look up to who are just like them.

That way, they can feel comfortable with themselves sooner, and they can accept themselves and

be happy sooner than previous generations.

Representation matters, and it does change people's lives.

So, moral of the story, if you're gonna have queer characters in your movie, put that

fact in the movie, don't just talk about it behind the scenes.

We don't want that fake pandering off-screen representation.

We want real genuine queer representation on-screen.

Anyway, that's all I had for today.

Florida's Finest Criminals S2.E11 - Duration: 11:44.

Hey guys, it's me, Maggie J

It's time for a brand new episode of Florida's Finest Criminals so I hope you're ready.

These stories seem a little crazier than the last episode

But I do have a story about George Zimmerman

so that might be amping up how much I can't believe these stories.

Let's just get through this list so we can discuss at the end. Hm?

Back in October of 2016, the Seminole County

Supervisor of Elections was notified that a handful of residents in an Altamonte Springs

neighborhood had not received their absentee ballots in the mail.

Those ballots, however, found their way to the elections office, completed.

Those 5 envelopes were tested and found to have the same saliva and fingerprints all

over them, so they tracked down the person in question.

On May 2nd, authorities went to Warren Casselberry's home and notified him of their suspicions.

He refused to open the door all the way and demanded his attorney.

Casselberry is facing five counts of voter fraud.

It has not been made public who the ballots were for because they were sealed when given

to police but, how do you think this guy voted?

I hope they let us know because I am damn curious.

Alfred Lee Smith is accused of attacking his

long-term girlfriend during an argument, grabbing her by the arms and pinning her to a wall.

He later turned his attention to her car, pouring some sugar into her gas tank, then

smashing the windows with a frying pan.

That's not what those items are for!

Smith was not at the residence when Cocoa Police arrived,

but he later walked to the station and turned himself in.

He is facing charges of domestic battery and felony criminal mischief.

Am I the only one who is reminded of Ricky from Trailer Park Boys?

He always did know how to turn a car into a home.

Scott Edward Nelson has been in Orange County Jail since October of 2017 after he was charged

with killing a Winter Park woman.

He has recently written a letter to Judge Keith White, attempting to leverage a confession

for better quality food.

Nelson claims he has lost more than 40 pounds since being incarcerated in Orange County,

and since he's been a guest at some of the "worst prisons in America" Nelson believes

he can claim that Orange County cuisine is definitely the worst.

"I'm starving to death" he says, and has offered to confess to 8 murders and several bank robberies.

He included some details in his letter that could potentially add credibility to his

confession claim.

I have never heard of this happening before, and I don't even know how Orange County would

fulfill this request, unless they want to provide better quality meals for all of their

prisoners.

Judge White did say he has no control over jail operations and the lawyers involved didn't

reveal if they believe Nelson's claims.

This will likely go nowhere and Nelson's trial will continue as usual but I'll let you know

if I hear any more developments.

And it also makes me sick to my stomach that people just keep these secrets to themselves

even though they are going to spend a long time in jail anyway.

There's families out there suffering who have no idea what happened to their loved one

because this guy won't open his mouth.

When I'm the King of the World there's gonna be some sort of truth serum given to all these criminals.

George Zimmerman is a man with a reputation

that I think I don't need to explain.

It has been a while since we've heard from him.

I thought he moved out west to Texas or something, but apparently Zimmerman has been harassing

private investigators who are working on a documentary called "Rest In Power: The Trayvon

Martin Story" being financially backed by Jay-Z.

Back on September 21st, 2017, a private investigator called George Zimmerman and told him about

what he was working on, leaving him a voicemail with contact information of a producer of

the film.

Zimmerman contacated the producer and is said to have been agitated during the call, and

threatened the investigator.

The producer claims he said

Zimmerman: "Help (the investigator's wife) out and give him a heads up.

I'm going to find him.

And I'm bringing hell with me."

Zimmerman is also accused of later texting "[The private investigator] is a ---- who

bother my uncle in his home.

Local or former law officer, he's well on his way to the inside of a gator as well. 10-4?

Who puts "10-4" in a text message, you psycho!

On December 16th, the investigator himself started receiving threats, amounting to 21

calls, 38 texts, and 7 voicemails within 2 hours.

Investigators were in contact with local law enforcement and a Seminole County Deputy contacted

Zimmerman directly, asking him to refrain from any further threats or contact with the investigator.

Zimmerman refused and told him to basically come get him.

Then ol' Zimm send the investigator a link to an article that quotes Zimmerman saying

"I know how to handle people who fuck with me.

I have since February 2012" and "Anyone who fucks with my parents will be fed to an alligator."

Does he have a pet alligator in his backyard or something?

I don't understanding the kinship he's feeling with the gators

'cause I'm pretty sure the gators would eat his ass alive!

According to Zimmerman, however, he claims the investigators were harassing him.

However, records show 55 phone calls, 67 text messages, 36 voicemails and 27 emails sent

from Zimmerman to the investigator between December 16th and December 25th.

Another Seminole County deputy contacted Zimmerman again on January 3rd, but like the previous

deputy, was met with only hostility and threats.

Finally, Zimmerman was served with court documents on May 3rd and is scheduled to be arrained

at the end of the month.

How does this guy have the balls to walk around behave this way?

Is he trying to get himself tossed into jail? This documentary isn't going to put him away,

and the public already hates this douchebag for all the right reasons, what does he expect

to achieve by acting like this?

I don't even know how to wrap this up except to say, Zimmerman is a chump and I hope none

of us ever has to deal with him in person.

Ever.

Jorge Porto-Sierra drove to the Friendly Village

Inn & Motel in Kissimmee with the intent to "barbecue all the child moldesters on fire

and kill them."

I think there may be a language issue in the translation

Witnesses say Porto-Sierra brought his own can of gas, hit a car in the parking lot,

poured gas onto that, broke a window, poured gas into a hotel room, with a cigarette

hanging out of his mouth, and making threats the whole time.

When Kissimmee police arrived, he told them he would have follow through with his threats,

but they had arrived too quickly.

I admire that spirit Porto-Sierra, but no one has hired you to do that job.

You can't just take it upon yourself, no matter how righteous you feel you are being.

Porto-Sierra is being charged with four counts of attempted premeditated murder and remains

in jail.

Thank you for trying but until someone puts you under contract to do that job,

it's just not something the state needs you to handle.

On May 6, Pamela and Kenneth Woodman were having dinner and discussing the price of

the vegetables Pamela had bought at Publix earlier that day.

She told him she had put six ears of corn into her bag, knowing she could get away with

only paying $2 for five ears.

She claims Kenneth then called her a thief and a liar, but Pamela blames the clerk for

not couting.

Pamela then slammed down her wine glass, breaking the bottom off,

then she just threw the rest of it at her husband.

She tossed a few more glasses at Kenneth and he went to the kitchen to get away.

She of course followed, but says Kenneth pushed her away and slammed her finger in the kitchen

door.

She managed to get into the kitchen and throw a tomato at her husband.

Authorities were summoned and Pamela was charged with misdemeanor domestic violence battery.

Over some fifty cent corn.

Did you have to call her a liar Kenneth?

And did you have to steal the corn Pamela?

By this point in your life ya'll should really be able to

work through a problem like this without breaking all your glassware.

I'm very disappointed in the both of you.

Every other outlet has covered this story this week so of course I included it.

Very early on April 14th, Katie Holley awoke feeling something strange, but quickly realized

the something was inside her ear.

She used a q-tip to poke around in there and pulled out two tiny roach legs.

Tiny or big I don't care. There's roach legs in your ear!

I bet she was really freaking out by then.

Her husband tried to pull out the roach but that nasty bastard dug deeper into Holley's ear,

so they went to the hospital.

Doctors were able to kill the roach inside her ear, and extract as much as they could see,

and the Holley family returned home, hoping that was the end.

But no.

Nine days later Holly went to her doctor complaining of pain and he fished a whole bunch more of

the roach out of her ear.

Who was working at the hospital and left so much of the roach behind?

I'd be so pissed.

Katie Holley will forever be known as the Florida Woman who lived for 9 days with a

dead roach in her ear, and we love her for it.

She says "It happened to me, so it's probably not going to happen to you"

and I would really like more of a guarantee.

Thank you for sharing your story Katie.

Abstract Ballpoint Pen Drawing & Motivation by Jacob Sheetz - Duration: 4:39.

It's not about the pen it's about the artist it's about creativity

Don't let your drawing utensil hold you back

I used to think that had to have expensive pens and everything to be the drawing thing. That was any good

That's more about practicing and practicing a lot for many hours over many years

some people get better at different rates and some people get better within a few weeks or a few months or

As for some other people might take a long time

maybe even years and it took me years to improve to a point to where I

felt comfortable as an artist to really show my work and

at this point I I feel I'm getting a lot better and

I'm going back to my roots where I'm just using

cheaper drawing utensils like the pen that I have here and

the reason that I'm using this is because I

Wanted to show everyone that you don't have to have a lot of money and everything

To be able to draw anything. That's

no detailed and very good and

I just have your standard ballpoint pen. It's a big pen and

It's the fine size. I

I'm using a cardstock paper for this and it's a smooth paper and it's

90 pound weight and

That's fun doing it was

My usual abstract stuff really strange not really sure what it is

I mean in the end of strong to me, it looks like there's a Sun like there's some vortex there's vines or something like that

a lot of what goes to my mind while I'm drawing is just completely random listening some days while I'm drawing might be thinking about

Some things about to do the next day, you know

maybe things have got to pay or

Cleaning I'll get done

Anything like that?

It varies but most of the time I don't really have much of anything on my mind ulis. I choose to think of something

it's more of a

Automatic type of thing for me to wear when I'm drawing. I just zone out. I don't really think of much of anything unless

I choose to and

Usually I'll set here when I'm thinking about things along wrong and it'll be boat

You know the positive things that are going to happen in the futures

I think that can't happen it will happen and I also think about the things that happen in my life and

Know all the things of what had to overcome to get where I'm at

and

to not

Let anything that's know happened yesterday

Slow me down and prevent me from pursuing something for tomorrow

and we get caught up in these ideas of what we should be as a person and

You know the the standard of what it means to be a good artist or a good person in general

but many many people are so different in many ways that

The idea that a lot of society has for what someone is or what?

makes a good artist is it's always changing so

Don't feel you get to be a certain type of person to to be good or to be good artist

just keep doing what you enjoy and

as long as you're enjoying it and

You know something that helps you get stress off your mind

It helps you overcome things and you feel like it's helping you improve as a person

and that's all that really matters and

just keep doing your best at whatever it is that you're wanting to do in life keep pursuing it and

Don't ever give up just because you don't have the money to do something

A lot of us came from a point to where we didn't have anything in life to where?

we had to work really hard to get anything and

those of us that have had

Nothing given to us in life and we had to work for everything

We truly appreciate the small things and what we have in life

Small significance or something very important. We cherish every moment end we go through everyday

Not worrying about the things that we could have done or what hasn't happened

we just move forward and accept life of what we have and

To know that no matter what as long as we're doing what we love

We'll never give up
