Chelsea still hope to land £125m record deal of Tiemoue Bakayoko, Antonio Rudiger and Alex Sandro

CHELSEA are ready to splash out £125million to land three main transfer targets. Blues boss Antonio Conte wants to wrap up the deals to land Tiemoue Bakayoko, Antonio Rudiger and Alex Sandro ahead of their Premier League title defence.

Tiemoue Bakayoko is close to completing a £35m move to Chelsea.

Antonio Rudiger is also close to becoming a Chelsea player in a £30m switch from Roma. Chelsea are thought to be close to completing the deal to land Monacos midfielder powerhouse Bakayoko in a £35m deal.

And he is set to be followed through the door by Germany international defender Rudiger who will sign for £30m from Roma.

Conte could make it a hat-trick of deals when they step up their chase to land Juventus full-back Sandro with a £60m offer at the beginning of next week according to the Telegraph.

There is growing optimism around the English champions that they can lure Sandro to the club this summer if the price is right.

If they can push through a deal, Sandro will become Chelseas most expensive player ever eclipsing the £50m they paid Liverpool for Fernando Torres in 2011.

The 26-year-old left-back has three years left on his current contract with the Old Lady and Juventus are ready to offer him a new deal to ward off the interest from Chelsea.

Chelsea are growing confident that they can sign Alex Sandro for £60m.

Antonio Conte is looking to get business completed ahead of their Premier League title defence.

  Romelu Lukaku remains Chelseas top transfer priorities but a deal could drag throughout the summer.

Nathan Ake left Chelsea in a £20m deal to join Bournemouth. It has been a busy week for transfer deals at the club with Nathan Ake and Bertrand Traore ending their spells with the club.

Chelsea have already pocketed around £60m by selling players with Asmir Begovic, Juan Cuadrado and Christian Atsu also been shown the exit door.

And now they are ready to invest heavily with Bakayoko and Rudiger expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

Chelsea also cashed in on Asmir Begovic for £10m. Bakayoko, 22, has already completed his medical whilst Rudigers agent flew into London on Friday to complete personal terms.

Conte still wants to land a striker with Diego Costas future unclear and has prioritised Evertons Romelu Lukaku as a potential replacement. The Toffees are holding out for £70m for the big Belgian which could take their summer spending to around £200m.

THE holidays are over for John Terry – and now he has a big decision to make.

Terry and his family flew back from his Portugal villa to the UK with his family, and he will be a free agent tomorrow after the expiration of his Chelsea contract.

John Terry has enjoyed a nice break away with his family in Portugal – now he could be packing his bags for Aston Villa .

And Terry could be winging his way straight to Villa Park, if the transfer rumours are to be believed.

Ex-England man Terry has been offered a basic salary of £60,000 by Villa chairman Tony Xia, with considerable bonuses, including £2million if he helps the side achieve promotion to the Premier League.

And earlier today Xia gave a huge hint that Terry could be signing on the dotted line, when he tweeted out the pen emoji followed by the hashtag UTV, Up The Villa.

Xia has previously posted about Terrys contract situation at Chelsea, giving a huge clue that he is interested in snapping up the 36-year-old centre-half. The former England captain has spoken to Swansea, Bournemouth and West Brom since quitting Chelsea at the end of last season.

Birmingham were also in the mix for his signature but St Andrew's boss Harry Redknapp has given up on the chase.

John Terry checked in for his British Airways flight at Faro Airport, bound for London. I am not going to talk about a player who still belongs to another club as JTs contract with CFC expires until 1/7.

 And Terry was handed a lucrative chance to end his career in the Chinese Super League with Tianjin Quanjian on £10m-a-year. He will bank £2million if he can help lead Villa back up to the Premier League.

But Sunsport understands it is the challenge of trying to help Villa back to the top flight that is exciting Terry. He and Villa boss Steve Bruce have met up several times this summer to play golf.

Aboriginal protest overshadows Canada's 150th birthday celebration.

Canada is enjoying a renewed sense of global prominence as it gears up to celebrate its 150th anniversary but Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said on Thursday the legacy of a mistreatment of indigenous people should be acknowledged during the festivities.

As Trudeau and Canada geared up for Canada Day festivities on Saturday, complete with fireworks and visits by Prince Charles and Bono, a group of indigenous activists set up a teepee on Parliament Hill in Ottawa to protest the celebration.

Police attempted to prevent the protest and arrested nine activists on Thursday before allowing the indigenous tent to go up just steps from Trudeau's office.

Aboriginal groups have complained for months that the 150th party glosses over historic abuses against them, even as Trudeau acknowledges the government's historic failure to improve its relationship with them.

"It is important that even as Canadians celebrate Canada 150 we reflect upon the experiences and the importance of folding in and hearing the stories and experiences of indigenous Canadians," Trudeau said as reporters asked him about the teepee protest.

"We recognise that over the past decades, generations, indeed centuries, Canada has failed indigenous peoples. I can understand the impatience from many people," he said. Trudeau came to power in 2015 pledging to fix the government's relationship with 1.

4 million aboriginals, who make up about 4 per cent of the country's population, but two years later many accuse the prime minister of not doing enough to help impoverished communities.

"It's mostly just photo ops. He's not really doing anything with these issues at hand," said Paul Francis, 23, a member of the Mi'kmaq Warrior Society from Elsipogtog First Nation, who travelled from New Brunswick to join the protest.

Canada attempted to force assimilation through residential schooling and other repressive policies, and aboriginals have higher levels of poverty, addiction and incarceration, as well as a shorter life expectancy, than other Canadians.

Many aboriginal communities do not have access to safe drinking water, and suicides have plagued several isolated communities in recent months.

"If we can afford a C$500 million birthday party we can afford equality for kids," said Cindy Blackstock, executive director of the First Nations Child and Family Caring Society of Canada.

Her group has lobbied the government for years to comply with Canadian Human Rights Tribunal rulings that found inadequate government funding for children's services. Blackstock said Trudeau's lack of action has been profoundly disappointing.

"History will not look back at this period and judge Canadian society very well," she said.
