This week we'll be talking about the privilege of prayer.

Now prayer is a heart-to-heart talk with God.

So, who gets that privilege of having a heart-to-heart talk with God?

Listen to what Isaiah the prophet says. He says,

So, you notice sin is the thing that separates us from God

and as long as sin separates us, we need something to bridge over.

We need a relationship with God.

And that's what believers have.

Think of it this way.

Let's say that you call White House and you say, "I'd like to talk with President Trump."

Would you get through?

No way, right?

Not because you're not a nice person

but because he doesn't know you from Adam.

You don't have a relationship with him.

Now, let's say your name was Tiffany or Barron Trump.

Would you get through?

Absolutely.

Because not only is he your president then, but he's also your father.

You have that relationship.

That's what prayer is all about.

It's all about relationship.

In fact the apostle Paul says, "You are all children of God through faith in Jesus" (Galatians 3:26).

That means that when God the Holy Spirit worked faith in your heart,

God went from being just Almighty God to now also being your father.

That means that not only are you his child,

but you also have the privilege of prayer and he wants to hear from you, his child.

He says, "My child call on me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor me" (Psalm 50:15).

So, as you pray today remember that God is listening

because he's made you his child.

We pray,

"Heavenly Father, thank you for the grace to be able to address you that way.

Thank you for the privilege of prayer.

Keep me mindful of all the blessings you want to bring me through prayer.

Through your child, and our brother, Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.

MEG: I've come across

Natania's music really recently and I gotta say that I'm hooked!

NATANIA: Thank you!

MEG: I fell like your songs are

super genuine and honest, especially for

the style of music that you play. You're a homegirl from Bombay...

NATANIA: Yes! Colaba!

MEG: And you live in L.A. (California) now? Natania: Mmhmm.

NATANIA: I came here to release "Enough", the new single

MEG: Yeah... There's all this buzz about it! Natania: Yeah! I'm excited

It's really special to me because it's a song that I

wrote really recently and so I still, like, feel

all the emotion.

It's been getting a great response so I'm excited.

MEG: What's it about? Is it about a particular someone or...?

NATANIA: It's about someone I couldn't stop writing about.

MEG: Yeah? Have you written a couple of songs about this someone?

NATANIA: A lot!

Definitely pieces... Pieces of the person

in a lot of songs. MEG: That's awesome!

MEG: So tell me what music did you grow up listening to?

NATANIA: So, my Mom used to listen to alot of Cat Stevens

and Simon & Garfunkel

and all that stuff. So I grew up listening to that. MEG: Nice!

NATANIA: And also of course, like all the Bollywood music.

I love, like, dancing

to Bollywood music... Like "Desi Girl" and all that stuff.

But, definitely a lot of my Mom's taste

MEG: I've read that you wrote your first song when you were 15.

NATANIA: I did! Yes! First heartbreak, first song.

I wrote the song

and I didn't even know I was writing. So it just came out

and then I just realised that I had to keep doing it.

This is called "Bite My Tongue".

It's a new song. MEG: Brand new?!

NATANIA: Never recorded before. MEG: Whaaaaat?

MissMalini!

NATANIA: Yeah!

It's a song about not saying what you want to say

and we're saying that in the song, I guess. MEG: Suraag! Tap in!

MEG: And we're going to end with one last tune. What's it called?

NATANIA: "Anywhere With You". It's about

how it doesn't matter where you are as long as you're together.

MEG: Is it recorded anywhere? Can we find this online?

NATANIA: No, this I've never played anywhere before actually!

MEG: YES!

NATANIA: I actually wrote this song while watching Grey's Anatomy.

MEG: Inspiration! Take it away guys.

because that kind of means that the interview is over.
