Today's recipe : Aadi Special Aadi Koozh
Ingredients : Raw rice - 100 g . Soak it for 10 mins .Drain in a white cotton cloth for 20 mins.Grind it into Coarse (Slightly bigger than Sooji / Rava)
Shallots (Small Onion) - 5 Nos finely chopped
Ginger - 2 inch (Peeled & Grated)
Salt - To taste
Curry leaves - 2 Springs (finely chopped)
Coriander leaves - Finely chopped (3 Tsp)
Green Chili - 1 No (or) To taste finely chopped
Water - 750 ml to 1 liter (approx)
Dry roast the Rice coarse till nice aroma comes (Color should not change)
Pressure cook the roasted rice granules with salt in 500 ml water (5 times of rice) for 10 mins in low flame.Let the pressure escapes by itself.
Add water according to your decided consistency .Mix all other ingredients & boil it for 5 mins with constant stirring
Now the traditional recipe which protect us from infections caused by aadi wind is ready to serve
