Astral Projection The Bitter Truth

Astral travel for me is I close my eyes they dont close all the way and

Im peering through a slit and this happens: the instant I close my eyes I see people and

places instantly.

Maybe its more like remote viewing.

Stanley Victor Paskavich Astral projection is defined as a willful

out-of-body experience.

Believed to be a form of telepathy, this concept assumes that the consciousness or soul often

referred to as an astral body is a separate entity from the physical body, and therefore

able to travel outside of the body through the universe.

A belief that has existed throughout history, dating back to ancient times, it is one that

has been discussed, debated and contested throughout the decades.

At this time experts believe that somewhere between 8% and 20% of people make the claim

that they have had an out-of-body experience at some stage in their lives.

This includes experienced during sleep, while under hypnosis or one that comes about from

nothing more than mere relaxation.

The difficulty in quantifying whether or not astral projection exists in the world of science

is the inability to actually measure the moments in which individuals state that their spirit

leaves or enters their body.

Without tracking this phenomenon there is no way to scientifically measure and assess

whether there truly is a separation between body and soul, or whether they are merely

experiencing a heightened dream state.

Susan Blackmore, author of Beyond the Body: An Investigation of Out-of-the-Body Experiences

explained that people who experience astral travel have been found to score higher

on measures of hypnotizability and, in several surveys, on measures of absorption, [a] measure

of a persons ability to pay complete attention to something and to become immersed in it,

even if it is not real, or imagined event.

Claiming that those who identify as having out-of-body-experiences are more suggestible,

imaginative and fantasy-prone, experts do advise that these individuals have low levels

of drug and alcohol use, and no obvious signs of mental illness or psychopathology.

The question remains, then, if they are not experiencing an out of body experience, what

is actually happening?

It is possible that they are entering a dream state during a microsleep. A microsleep

refers to any time that an individual falls asleep for half a second to a minute, not

realizing that they have done so.

Often people who experience this state wake up believing that they have been asleep for

minutes, or even hours, unaware that they were only sleeping for such a short time.

During this time, it is conceivable that they may be having extremely vivid and realistic

dreams, which are then being interpreted as an out of body experience.

Despite the inability to scientifically prove or disprove the phenomenon, it continues to

take the world by storm, bringing in large incomes for those who are able to appeal to

the believers.

Mark Pritchard even offers an online course and book on how you can learn to astral travel

in eight weeks.

While this may be entirely true, or nothing more than a money grab, it is both entertaining

and harmless.

There have, however, been cases where the experience has been life-changing.

While scientists continue to speculate whether they believe this can actually occur, there

are limitations to science and aspects of the natural world that it cannot hope to understand.

For this reason, whether it can be scientifically measured doesnt disprove its ability to

occur.

It simply leaves us with unanswered questions and the amazing first-hand accounts of those

who have experienced it, until such time that Science may some day catch up.

[Science] is not perfect.

It can be misused.

It is only a tool.

But it is by far the best tool we have, self-correcting, ongoing, applicable to everything

PaperNautCast #4 - A New (Hope) Look (w/ BTS Footage from Ad 3) - Duration: 17:44.

Hi everyone! Welcome to PaperNautCast #4.

I'm Alex! and I'm Jason.

Sorry I'm typing. I'm typing up some stuff... that you guys aren't going to be privy to but you may

hear the clacks. And uh, we just came off of a really hard week and we're getting into

some more hard ones coming right up. We just dropped Ad 3 last week?

Uh, yeah I think Monday yep. Right on and we're already jumping straight into

working on Ad 4 which is kind of a killer but Ad 3 was really fun and we

hope that you guys you know took some time out of your day to go ahead and watch it.

We've been getting some really good feedback on just kind of how intense or

how kicked up things have been. It's the first ad with dialogue!

Yeah sync dialogue and Alex you were in that one actually.

No I wasn't...

Yes, I was...

But barely, I was more of a filler. I didn't actually contribute anything

Well I mean except (I have no lines) your presence on screen and you know some

noises, some resisting noises. Yeah but I think a lot of them got cut out because

the better dialogue was on were on the cuts where I was like really quiet so...

Yeah but I mean for the most part I think you know it's the

Ad 3 ~ Natural Order

is about a Geryonean Captain who takes a few Nameless captives and you

know decides to reeducate them on the kind of the caste system kind of the you

know the situation the the thing that defines difference between the two of

them and you played a Nameless and I think all you guys did a really great

job or what you have to do...

Sitting on our butts for like nine hours.

Well I mean I didn't have to so.

Yeah well my poor butt was bruised.

I think well I mean you also did other things you did costume and makeup on

that shoot.

Yeah but I didn't have as much time to do it because I was like I

didn't want to like spend too much time doing that when I was supposed to be you

know on the floor like running ready trying to get into character or whatever

so it was like half being in the shot for action and then half like making sure

continuity on like all the makeup was good.

And you still found time to do

Crafty. (Craft Services)

I did. Not as not good though yeah brought some breakfast doesn't

really count as crafty though right it does and I mean surprisingly enough any

of you out there who are/were making your own movies

cereal goes over really well with the crew for some reason.

As long as you bring better bowls.

And notify people that there's soy milk. Yeah mark looking at you.

We had some crew members who are slightly lactose intolerant and

didn't find out until hours after the breakfast session that there was soy

milk. I made it known! I said as soon as I came over...

I heard it at least three or four times. But yeah no it was great and we're not

going to go through because our crews keep getting bigger. I mean our last

shoot that was what like 15 people on set? Ah for Ad 3 (Natural Order)? Yeah 15 I think and then

Ad 2 (Insurmountable Odds) had 11.

And before that it was like definitely less than 10 but our crews

are getting bigger so we can and can't actually shout out each individual name

anymore particularly because it trying to make these podcasts a little bit shorter

as well.

But if you watch the ad, everyone is credited so you can see everyone that

was there on set if you watch the ad. Ad 3 ~ Natural Order.

But I definitely want to

do a quick shout out to the Cayabyab family for letting us use their location.

That location owned by our good friend and former actor Duncan AKA Francisco

Duncan from Ad 1. Yeah he was our location manager

actually on this Ad 3 shoot. And I definitely wanted to throw out a shout out

to Saul. He designed some amazing patches for us

to use on Tannek's uniform and they're very subtle. But they're in there and

we're hoping to reuse that design, reuse more of Saul's creative genius going

forward as he's pretty much our Art Director.

I mean you're planning on using

him for some stuff as well. Shhh, secret stuff - that's what I'm typing right now.

but top secret secret typing stuff.

Ya that sounds really secret to me...

It's just D and J over and over again.

Other than that uh also some some

great a big great big shout out to Brian Baker who really took the reins on this

one. We were originally supposed to be co-directing it together but Brian

really kind of like jumped up and I felt comfortable to just kind of like let him

run with it and I think the final product came out really well with his

guidance so uh thanks Brian. Brian - our Frank (Autumntown) from Ad 2.

yeah we reuse people like a crazy apparently. I didn't realize I think all of our actors except

except some... but other than that...

*Alex laughs*

What's so funny? I don't know if that was like an intentional inside joke.

I laughed

about what I thought you're talking about. No I don't want to - Forget it. I was

gonna bring up the other actor from Ad 2, Michael, but I just I didn't I can't I

still can't pronounce his last name so I was just like I'm gonna sidestep that.

Oh what

you mean our faceless actor? Were you talking about Frank Autumntown?

No.

well then I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about

but um she'll tell me (you'll tell me after the podcast) uh yes I will ah maybe I

don't know you might get mad. What - what?

I'm going to hold you to it I want to know now.

But if you want to know - you

should comment and I might tell you if if your questions are good enough.

Yeah other than that we have some we have some cool things coming up in the horizon.

Oh it's July!

Yes it is July. It's officially July this month we've got

five weeks this is Food Challenge Month! (Cinnamon)

Oh yeah um I guess it is I guess it is

Food Challenge Month but aside from that - which we'll be seeing towards the end of

the month. simply this week up until then we have a few other things planned we

got some new things coming into the studio we have a you know of course we

have got to cut coming out the week after this podcast is released and then

immediately after that we have yet another we have a podcast after that

actually and yeah high five blogs podcasts blog or catch up what is it oh

we picked out that we picked up some great vlog footage yesterday for those

of you who are following me on my Instagram

Jason paper Nautilus we I've started a photo photo of the day pic of the day P

OPD and my first picture was actually us doing some behind-the-scenes work for at

Fort we're paying some props and we got some good footage of that brush I am

brushing some props and we you know hopefully we'll be adding that into

whatever I think is going to be I prefer the week three blog as opposed to

another podcast what do you think that this seems like it's probably

predominantly going to be another dose of us yeah with anyone recording I don't

know I don't know I mean yeah Keane was recording but I mean chances are that

like it's because we're the most around it's going to end up being us like you

shopping for costumes or me doing everything hahahaha

okay well for those of you like our personalities go ahead and like and

subscribe leave a comment below to let us know if you'd like to see more of us

or actually see us over here les I feel like I feel like that much they're like

I'm tired of these two talking but um other than that was it I just you know

from a pic of the day I'm still getting this is like the second session of

people coming in for some likes on Instagram like it for those of you are

actually coming through and checking that out like it's kind of strange but

you know I'm really diggin the support my next photo is going to be others

podcasters it's going to come out actually the day before this podcast

comes out because we're currently July 1st in this podcast this is July 2nd it

is July okay this goes to illustrate how burned out I am from this completely

hectic schedule we're do the wise anyone who intends on getting into this kind of

thing should probably not do it in such a manner that we do it it's kind of I'm

watching I'm watching Alex take a picture right now of us podcasting I'm

like I'm waiting for you and yeah as we continue forward we're going to have a

plan good material coming out we got some new thing oh I'm in it I'm going to

throw that in the block so our like week three vlog is going to be um an

introduction of okay I'm gonna counter picture right ah because you have like

you know the eye sensor yes I'm going oh yes it's okay okay

I'm trying to get my bleep to bury shirt at bleep trooping there's a crutch in my

picture nice man shout out to 820 Studios on Instagram I just saw that to

him all because you liked like my photo well we like to mine online where they

liked your photo online Instagram where you steal my Instagram

links I posted your photo all right well anyway um so some great stuff coming up

I think on our week 3 blog I'm going to have a little awesome kind of a new

thing to introduce that's coming into our studio it might not be new to some

me but it's gonna be new for me right and so yeah as we go on as we continue

moving on towards add 4 we still yeah so much still left to do for pre-production

but we have a really really kind of a strong plan of what we're what we want

to do and I actually really like this ad now if you read the or the script right

I guess but that was I read the first script that I think you guys made some

changes to it since then so I haven't seen the revised yeah we made some

verbal changes we haven't actually made those changes yet but we're hoping this

is this is oh yeah what you're telling me the other day that you prefer the

slow burnings over the hardcore action of ad - yeah I think yes I so far I

think I would say my preference would be I'd won at 3 and then add 2 since I'd

won was the slowest ad - was slower but had a little bit of

action and then add 3 was pure like kind of go go go go go adrenalin action so

yeah well this next ad is definitely going to be it's our it's a more

emotional that I think and uh you you were like I'm gonna cry at the end

maybe I'm crier anyway yeah so ad for um there's going to be it's gonna be fun

and we're still trying to figure out exactly how we want to do excuse I want

to be switching things up on how we do it but ultimately we're going to be

looking at the release of that as I flip my calendar I believe on these seventeen

and I'm really I'm actually really excited are you excited do yours

listeners no Alex II said

for for yes yes if only because I'm not in it so now I can take if I I'm going

to be able to be there for filming I can take more behind-the-scenes photos and

videos and stuff unfortunately for these since I was sitting on the floor with my

hands tied for most of the day I wasn't able to like with that the camera I

think we're shooting we're shooting on

multiple days for this for this one it's a first for us other than ad threes

supposed to be shot in multiples and three was supposed to be shot in two

days we shot it in 1 AD 2 was shot in three and a half hours and had one ad

when was one whole day had to is not three and a half hours on the line of

the people three and a half likes shooting time hours there's a lot of

prep we're coming into it but yeah we start out like what 4:30 and then we

ended at about 8 o'clock not including pre and post setup and teardown but you

have so now with ad for discovering that we don't really like doing that we're

gonna we're going to try and see if we can do it over the course of like two

days maybe three days maybe four days but other than that there's a massive

loss of energy in this podcast we'd like to just go ahead and wish all you guys

it is a holiday weekend so by the time of you this podcast drops out it's going

to be July 3rd and coming up after that it's going to be July 4th whatever

holiday that his human weight is only national sandwich day I was going to say

Donuts but I think that was last month I think we missed out national taco day

let's find out actually Stan Stan people sorry

let's see July 4th national food day hamburgers hotdogs fries

oh it is national barbecue day I should have known there you go now today July

2nd is national and a set day I don't know what that is I miss ginger

half-day yesterday damnit that's going to be our new first of the month podcast

is just us reading through the calendar for the month telling you what days or

what national fees blue yeah this just in anisette it looks like martini it is

an herb native to Egypt Romans use it in medicine and they also

use it in cakes it's seeds are used for I'm a therapy sweet-smelling use for

liqueurs oh yeah let's go get a drink on this podcast we can get drink oh

professional talk today it's the first podcast that you're not read reading

something last podcast no really I always feel I feel like I'm going to go

back to the last podcast even the stuff that we cut out where it's just just to

verify that you weren't like you always have to make some kind of concession to

the audience likes I'm drinking cranberry juice in a wine glass with ice

how's this the first one we've had two more no this is number three number four

well anyway alright I think that's gonna end it for us on this particular Sunday

as we go through the process of cutting this thing up for you guys if you drop

out Monday we got plenty of stuff going on leading into this fourth of July and

thank you guys all for tuning in we hope that you liked subscribe Alps on the

road to 100 100 subscribers is really going to push this over and allow us to

finally change our URL something other than a string of letters and numbers so

uh quest for 100 quest for 100 I like road to 100 um just road to 100 it seems

like it's hard to say all right well anyway um hash tag the 100 in that show

says point so uh thank you guys all for tuning in my name is Jason no I'm Alec

we'll see you next time or hear you next time now you're all

next Oh Swiss by

How To Source Great Images For Your Blog - Duration: 3:42.

- It's video and blogging tips time today

and today, I'm gonna specifically give you

a couple of tips

on what images you need to use for your blog posts.

Hey there, I'm Tracey from TraceyRose.com

And in today's video I'm going to share with you

what a lot of people don't realise about the images

they're putting on their blogs.

A lot of images, people are just taking from Google.

This is a big no-no.

I'm gonna share with you why, and also what kinds of images

you need to be using, and where you can find those

or create those yourself.

So back in the day when blogs were starting to get

really really big, people were just taking images

from Google and putting them on their blogs

and not even attributing to where those images came from.

I actually know people who this has happened to

and they've end up having to spend thousands of dollars

on fines because the images were not their own.

So what can you do to combat this?

Well the easiest thing is to always

use your own images.

There's plenty of places to go and find free images.

You can go to pixabay.com or you can go to canva.com

and you can actually even create

some of your own images with Canva.

Canva has a lot of free images

with image creating software.

That is a very easy one to use.

PicMonkey, a lot of people find PicMonkey

easy to use, as well.

I personally use Canva most of the time.

You could also just pay someone on fiverr

to do them for you.

Now make sure that they know they're not to be using

images that are copyrighted.

There's also some other places which are kind of like

image communities and kind of marketplaces.

There's one called Creative Market and each week

they will give you a free set of images to download.

And they also have images for sale, there as well,

which are quite inexpensive.

Sometimes I will go to buy some

or some colour images or flower background images

and download like a pack of 20.

There's also another one called,

I think it's called Haute Chocolate. (laughs)

And each week, she will also deliver you

some free images and then if you want to

you can upgrade and buy some of the other images

and stuff like that.

But they're really called marketplaces to get

some great images for your website.

That will look really professional.

But another really easy thing that I do

is just use images of photos of myself

while I'm recording the video.

So here's a little trick

often when I'm recording a video at the end

I will sit there and kind of pose and smile

for the camera, which, sort of seems

a little bit awkward (laughs)

but I'll show you what I mean.

What I'll do is I'll keep the camera recording

and I'll often sit to the side of the camera

so that I've got some space here

to put in some text for my blog post.

Does that make sense?

So I will sit there and smile like this.

(pop music)

Or. (laughs)

So then when I'm editing, I can take a little

screenshot, save a little image from that file

and then I put them in Canva

and then I add some little text, like I said,

on the side of the image.

And then I'm never ever worried about

whether the images are mine or not

because they're always mine.

So if you are watching this video on my blog

below, I will actually list a few resources

some free, and some paid resources

where you can go buy some images.

Or like I said before, just take some screenshots

of yourself doing video and then pop some text on top.

I hope you enjoyed this video today,

and got some value.

If you know someone that this will help,

please share it with them.

And if you'd like some more tips on marketing

and mindset, head over to my website TraceyRose.com

and I'll see you in the next video.

(pop music)

So what do to (stammering)

(laughs)
