[music]

When I often find out that someone has suffered the consequences of their immaturity,

or some silly decisions,

when they painfully pay for what they did - their weakness is exposed,

and everyone talks about them, they are discredited in the eyes of people, then I try to do the following thing -

to think that it could really be me. Do not sympathize with this man,

nor join the choir of those who nod and they're talking - God, this is a terrible person, this is a terrible thing.

No. I try to think that this is a story about me, that it is only by accident that I am not the one compromised.

Today, Jesus turns to Peter and quite brutally confronts him with his immaturity,

with his attempt to impose his own ideas on Jesus - who he is supposed to be.

This is a brutal confrontation but he says it all to Peter, looking at other disciples.

He wanted to say - I am telling this to all of you.

Learn from those people who bear the unpleasant consequences of their mistakes and their own stupidity.

State and apos . s attorney recuses herself from Jussie Smollett investigation as prosecutors questi - Duration: 4:40.

State and apos . s attorney recuses herself from Jussie Smollett investigation as prosecutors questi

In another puzzling twist in the investigation of a reported attack on Empire actor Jussie Smollett, the Cook County states attorney recused herself from the case Tuesday as prosecutors in her office began questioning two brothers who had been possible suspects.

States Attorney Kim Foxx said little about why she made the decision to stay out of the intensely covered case, releasing a one sentence statement through a spokeswoman that read: Out of an abundance of caution, the decision to recuse herself was made to address potential questions of impartiality based upon familiarity with potential witnesses in the case.

Foxx did not elaborate on the familiarity and did not name the potential witnesses. Her first assistant, Joe Magats, will oversee the case, the office said.

The decision brought a jab from , the former states attorney handily defeated by Foxx in 2016. Maybe I should have just recused myself from the difficult cases that came across my desk when I was states attorney, she posted on Facebook. I was under the impression that when the voters elected me and I took my oath of office it meant I had to do my job.

Hours before Foxxs statement, two brothers who had been under arrest in the case appeared at the criminal courthouse to talk to prosecutors and detectives, authorities said. They and their attorney, Gloria Schmidt, were seen near the grand jury rooms Tuesday afternoon, but police said they did not appear before it.

The first burst of headlines from Chicago about television actor stunned the city, and the nation. that hed been the victim of a hate crime, attacked in Streeterville at 2 a.m. on Jan. 29 by two men who hung a noose around his neck and shouted This is MAGA country!...

Schmidt declined to comment as she left the courthouse around 3:40 p.m. Foxxs statement was released around the same time.

, 36, after questioning the brothers while they were in custody for two days last week. The two men, aged 25 and 27, were released late Friday, hours after police had called them possible suspects. The Tribune is not identifying them because they have not been charged with a crime.

Smollett, who is African American and openly gay, has said he was walking from a Subway sandwich shop to his apartment in the 300 block of East North Water Street at about 2 a.m. on Jan. 29 when two men walked up, yelled racial and homophobic slurs, declared This is MAGA country, hit him and wrapped a noose around his neck.

Police initially said they were investigating the reported attack as a hate crime, , Chicago police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said the trajectory of the investigation changed. A source said detectives were now investigating whether Smollett paid the brothers to stage the attack.

Something important has been lost in the embarrassing saga of Jussie Smollett, the tuna fish sandwich loving actor and anti Trump activist, and those muscular Nigerian brothers.

And I suppose its easy to lose whats important with all the panic and intersectional hatred and liberal identity politics...

Information from the brothers allowed investigators to discover where the rope used for the noose had been purchased, according to the law enforcement source.

The shift in the investigations focus came amid growing skepticism on social media doubts that Smollett addressed in a national TV interview and in a strongly worded statement after the brothers were released.

Jussie Smollett is angered and devastated by recent reports that the perpetrators are individuals he is familiar with, read the statement from his attorneys. He has been further victimized by claims attributed to these alleged perpetrators that Jussie played a role in his own attack. Nothing is further from the truth.

The statement said one of the brothers was Smolletts personal trainer, the first time he has acknowledged knowing either of them. The two also reportedly worked with Smollett on Empire.

The brothers, who are also black, were taken into custody last Wednesday after detectives on a quiet Streeterville street east of Michigan Avenue, where Smollett says the attack took place.

are investigating whether actor paid two brothers to stage an attack on the actor in the Streeterville neighborhood late last month, according to a law enforcement source.

Detectives are following up on information provided by the brothers while they were...

After the brothers were released from a South Side police station Friday night, their lawyer was vague about what information they turned over to police. Pressed about whether Smollett set up the attack, Schmidt said, Theres still a lot of moving parts to this. ... Im not part of Jussies defense. Im not part of whats going on with him. I can just tell you that my guys are innocent of the charge and theyre going home.

A week before the incident, Smollett told police he . Witnesses told police a postal worker dropped off the letter at the Chicago studio where Empire is filmed. It was postmarked in southwest suburban Bedford Park on Jan. 18 and bore two American flag stamps. The letters MAGA were written in the upper left corner of the envelope. Federal authorities are investigating the origin of the letter.

Looking Back At Billie Eilish's "ocean eyes" | Song Stories - Duration: 3:03.

TIA: In 2015, Billie Eilish hit the scene with her chilling vocals on her earliest hit,

"ocean eyes."

TIA: The track was produced by her brother FINNEAS, and the pair have worked together

on a number of Billie's other songs.

BILLIE: I wrote music because I had a lot on my mind and I didn't know how to say

it really.

I didn't know how to say it without sounding wrong and I didn't know if anyone would

understand so I just wrote it all down.

TIA: Billie opens the ballad with piercing vocals and raw emotion, showcasing her range

at just 14-years-old.

TIA: Back on the track, she expresses a feeling of being so in love with someone that you lose control.

TIA: She revisited "ocean eyes" on "you should see me in a crown," one of her singles

leading up to her debut studio album 'when we all fall asleep where do we go.'

TIA: Along with producing the track, the song was also co-written by her brother Finneas.

The two have appeared as collaborators on her breakout singles, including

"when the party's over" and "idontwannabeyouanymore."

TIA: In an interview, Billie describes Finneas as her writing partner-in-crime saying quote:

BILLIE: He had written this song and it was sort of...it was about what he was going through

but at the time it was sort of what we were both going through in a way and he just wanted

to hear me sing it and I just loved it a lot.

TIA: The song was initially recorded for her dance teacher, who wanted choreograph a new

routine to fresh music.

BILLIE: Dance is really my way of expression and that was always my way of just getting

everything out at once and not having to think about it, I could just go and move and everything would be great.

TIA: Since the song's release in 2015, it hit over 14 million streams on SoundCloud

and landed her a record deal with Interscope.

TIA: Now, the track has gone platinum and earned more than 79 million views on YouTube.

TIA: And while fans wait for her upcoming debut studio album,

she'll never forget one of her very first hits.

BILLIE: No matter how much I've evolved and how much I'm evolving and how much I'm

going to evolve, "ocean eyes" specifically is what made me get where I am.

And that's...I could never be more grateful than that.

Kim Kardashian Unfollows Tristan Thompson & Jordyn Woods After Cheating Scandal - News Today - Duration: 3:28.

Kim Kardashian has taken a big KarJenner family step in making public the ire they have towards Tristan Thompson allegedly cheating on sister Khloe with Jordyn Woods

She unfollowed them on social media!    Kim Kardashian is leading the KarJenner family disgust towards sister Khloe's baby daddy Tristan Thompson allegedly cheating on her with Kylie Jenner's longtime BFF Jordyn Woods

The 38-year-old unfollowed both Tristan and Jordyn on Instagram on Feb. 20, just one day after the news broke that the NBA star and the close KarJenner family friend were allegedly all over each other at a LA house party on Feb

17. Tristan is the father of Khloe's 10-month-old daughter True Thompson and she has reportedly dumped him over the betrayal

Kim — who has 127 million IG followers — now only follows 120 people with Jordyn and Tristan being dead to her now

Both Hollywood Unlocked and TMZ reported on Feb. 19 that eyewitnesses saw Jordyn and Tristan fooling around at a private house party, despite Khloe being at home with Tristan's baby daughter not far away in Calabasas

After Hollywood Unlocked's CEO Jason Lee took to Instagram to detail their eyewitness account of the alleged hookup, Khloe, 34, actually commented on the video by leaving a series of talking head emojis

Her bestie Malika Haqq also commented "STRONG FACTS" while Koko's other pal Larsen Pippen wrote "Amen

" Jason made it clear in his video post that Khloe was not to be blamed or trolled for Tristan's behavior and that it was all on him

Malika took things a step further by commenting on a meme about how Kylie needs to toss Jordyn to the curb for her betrayal of the KarJenners

The 21-year-old is so close to Kylie, also 21, that she lives in the guest house on her property

The meme showed Kylie's one-year-old daughter, Stormi Webster, waving her hands in a "bye, felicia" manner, and wrote, "Stormi in Calabasas waiting for Jordyn to pack her sh*t and get out of Kylie's house like

" Malika, 35, wrote in the comments, "These hoes ain't loyal," stealing a line from Chris Brown's 2014 track "Loyal

"  On Feb. 20, DailyMail TV. reported that Tristan was acting like a single man in the days prior to his alleged hookup with Jordyn

The site claimed that he attended a private house party thrown by his Cleveland Cavaliers teammate Jordan Clarkson at a rented LA mansion on Valentine's Day instead of spending it with Khloe

"He was flirting and exchanging numbers with girls who came up to him," Daily Mail's eyewitness revealed

"He certainly didn't look like he was with Khloe anymore. He was dancing, flirting, touching, grabbing butts…that kind of thing

" Ouch! Khloe ended up forgiving him for allegedly cheating on her with a NYC strip club worker days before True's birth in April of 2018, but this time around she appears to be done with him for good

Romance Novelist Who Wrote The Wrong Husband, Then Allegedly Killed Spouse, Is Sued by Stepson - New - Duration: 5:28.

An Oregon romance novelist who allegedly murdered her husband last June is being sued for $1

7 million by the slain man's son.  The wrongful death lawsuit against Nancy Crampton-Brophy filed by her stepson Nathaniel Stillwater claims the novelist "murdered and/or conspired with others" in the death of his father, well-known chef Dan Brophy

Get push notifications with news, features and more. Follow Following You'll get the latest updates on this topic in your browser notifications

"He doesn't have any doubts she is responsible," Christine S. Mascal, the attorney for Stillwater, tells PEOPLE

According to the lawsuit, which was filed in Multnomah County Circuit Court Tuesday, Stillwater, as a personal representative of his father's estate, is asking for $200,000 for his father's pain and suffering; $500,000 for losses; and $1 million for Stillwater's loss of his father

On the morning of June 2, Dan, an instructor at the Oregon Culinary Institute, was found fatally wounded by his students at the institute

According to the lawsuit, he died from multiple gunshot wounds.  The day after his death, Nancy, a self-published romance novelist of such books as "The Wrong Husband" who sold Medicare and life insurance policies, took to Facebook to express her grief

"For those of you who are close to me and feel this deserved a phone call, you are right, but I'm struggling to make sense of everything right now," she wrote

The couple seemed to have the perfect life. They lived near Portland, where they raised chickens and tended to a large vegetable garden

Dan's fondness for his wife was evident in his classroom where he'd affectionately refer to her as "management

"  "She was the love of his life," Dan's former student Travis Richartz told PEOPLE

The affection appeared mutual. On her website, Nancy described her marriage as having "ups and downs" but "more good times than bad

"  "I can't tell you when I fell in love with my husband, but I [can] relate the moment I decided to marry him

I was in the bath. It was a big tub. I expected him to join me and when he was delayed, I called out, 'Are you coming?' " she wrote

"His answer convinced me he was Mr. Right. 'Yes, but I'm making hors d'oeuvres

' Can you imagine spending the rest of your life without a man like that?"  Those who knew Dan — who was also a mushroom expert — wondered how anyone could harbor animosity against him

"I was in complete shock," Dan's student Madison Amburgy told PEOPLE.  Not only was Dan known for his kitchen prowess and generosity with the local homeless community, he also possessed a dry wit and was known for his "Brophyisms" and other quirks — like making students wear oven mitts when they neglected to wash their hands, or making them wear a sombrero or clown hat if they forgot their chef's hats

"He had a closet full of different hats and jackets, and wacky cow outfits that you would velcro the parts of the cow onto," Richartz said

"He was just that guy that you showed up to his class, kinda never knowing what to expect

He was always a guy to keep you on your toes."  But, in September, in a twist befitting her own romantic mystery novels, Nancy was charged with murder in Dan's death

Authorities allege she used a 9mm handgun to commit the crime.  However, authorities have not revealed a motive or evidence in the case and they have not disclosed details on how they believe the crime occurred

Nancy has pleaded not guilty and remains held without bail at the Multnomah County jail

Her attorney could not be reached for comment.  It was not clear if she has retained counsel for the civil case against her

Tristan Thompson Disables Instagram Comments After Cheating on Khloe Kardashian With Jordyn Woods - - Duration: 3:02.

isn't interested in the public's opinion of him. The Cleveland Cavaliers player disabled the comments on his Instagram page amid news he cheated on with 's best friend

Thompson, 27, took away the ability for commenters to voice their disdain for him following news that he was unfaithful to the Strong Looks Better Naked author, 34, with the model, 21

Woods, for her part, who came under fire from followers on Tuesday, February 19, has not disabled hers

Us Weekly confirmed earlier on Tuesday that the athlete and Woods were spotted getting cozy and "making out" at a party on Sunday, February 17

The infidelity led Kardashian to call it quits on her relationship with Thompson, 10 months after an initial cheating scandal surrounding him made headlines

"Khloé loved Jordyn before this," the source told Us. "This is completely shocking to Khloé's family

"  Days before Kardashian gave birth to their daughter, True, in April 2018, news broke that Thompson had cheated on her with multiple women

Though the pair continued to work on things despite the scandal, an insider told Us earlier this month that the Good American founder has been "living and behaving as a single mother" as of late

Another source added that Kardashian "hasn't traveled to Cleveland in a while."  As for how Thompson and Woods' hookup will affect his coparenting with Kardashian, a source tells Us that "Tristan isn't too worried about not seeing True, or Khloé establishing new rules when it comes to coparenting

" The source added: "He honestly doesn't really care and was over it. He was never trying to win Khloé back

"  Though Thompson isn't interested in the thoughts of social media users, Kardashian liked an encouraging message about the situation hours after the news broke

"@khloekardashian dont let anyone ever say this is your fault!. He is a sick man and if its true, then she is a terrible woman, both terrible people that do not deserve your love," the commenter wrote

"TRUE does and ur doing great showing her that love."

Carragher on why Mourinho sacking will help Liverpool against Man U - Duration: 2:09.

Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher believes the sacking of Jose Mourinho by Manchester United may be a huge benefit to the Reds

The Portuguese boss parted ways with United after a 3-1 defeat from Jurgen Klopp's side at Anfield back in December

They appointed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to take charge and the Norwegian implemented a more attacking brand of football at Old Trafford but that is something, Carragher believes, which could increase Liverpool 's chances of winning when the two sides meet in the Premier League on Sunday

"The way they are setting up now, they're really attacking, on the front foot, exciting to watch," the former Liverpool defender told Viasport

"Maybe that will give Liverpool more chance in terms of space at Old Trafford.  "Whenever Mourinho's teams played against Liverpool at Old Trafford there was very little space for Mane and Salah, they always found it really difficult in the last couple of years

"So maybe that might change, maybe a more open game.  "But Liverpool's record is really poor at Old Trafford since Sir Alex Ferguson left so that is something that has to change

Video Loading Video Unavailable Click to play Tap to play The video will start in 8Cancel Play now  "If Liverpool could get a result there they have a big week, Watford then Everton

"But Manchester United is the real big one, that's the one where Man City expect Liverpool to drop points

If they get three points there it will be a little body blow to Manchester City."

Robertson fires warning to Man Utd ahead of Liverpool clash - Duration: 2:08.

Andy Robertson has fired a warning to Manchester United about being wary of Liverpool's threat

The Reds are joint on points with Manchester City in the Premier League but they have a game in hand and that is set to be played on Sunday against United at Old Trafford

Jurgen Klopp 's side beat United 3-1 at Anfield in December, culminating in the sacking of Jose Mourinho

Now Robertson, who was praised by the Portuguese after Liverpool's win, is expecting a totally different challenge after Ole Gunnar Solsjaer was appointed as the new United boss to oversee 11 wins out of his first 13 games at the club

"It is a big game against Manchester United, it's always big against them. It's a game in hand as well and we look forward to that," the Scotland international said after Liverpool's draw with Bayern Munich

"It's a huge game and they're a different team playing some really good football, I think we need to be wary of them but they know what they're coming up against and they need to be wary of us

It'll be a good game and one we can hopefully come out on top of.  "You look at their teamsheet or squad list and it's full of stars

They came to the party and they have a fantastic team. They've got people back from injury as well which always helps and they've got a strong squad as well

"We know what we're coming up against and we need to stop their danger men but hopefully we've got enough to cause them problems as well to get the result that we need

Daniel Sturridge Targeted by Real Betis as Liverpool Forward's Contract Nears End - Duration: 2:00.

Liverpool forward Daniel Sturridge is out of contract in the summer, with reports claiming that Real Betis of La Liga are interested in making a swoop for him

Sturridge, 29, has only featured in 20 games for the Reds in all competitions this season, scoring four goals and adding one assist

The former Manchester City, Chelsea and West Brom striker is one of the Premier League's finest finishers in recent years (111 goals in 305 appearances), but has seen his career blighted by injury

With Liverpool increasingly unlikely to offer the forward a contract extension, Sturridge appears set to move on after six years at Anfield

France Football (via Sport Witness) claim that Real Betis are unfazed by Sturridge's injury history and are interested in making a move for him this summer

Quique Setién's side are currently eighth in La Liga, but are only four points outside of the Champions League qualification places, and will battle Rennes on Thursday evening in the second leg of their Europa League round of 32 clash after the first leg ended 3-3

Los Verdiblancos would be an interesting destination for Sturridge, should he decide to leave England in pursuit of first team football

The club have shown they are prepared to splash the cash to sign big names in the past, defeating the likes of Chelsea in the pursuit of William Carvalho's signature last summer

Sturridge was linked with a move abroad last winter, with a switch to Serie A Inter seemingly set to happen before he agreed a doomed loan move to West Bromwich Albion

{ ♪INTRO } Even if you don't know much about ancient

history and prehistoric monuments, you've probably heard of Stonehenge.

The story of this incredible structure goes back more than 5000 years, and while it was

certainly important to the people who built it, those architects would have had no way

of knowing that their creation would become world-famous.

These days, Stonehenge is featured everywhere, from popular movies to your friend's vacation

But if there's one thing that everyone seems to know about Stonehenge... it's that there's

a lot that nobody seems to know about Stonehenge.

The monument is surrounded by famously puzzling questions, like who built it?

What was it used for?

Who's buried beneath it?

And especially: How did ancient people manage to move and erect those huge stones?

Over the years, lots of explanations have been proposed, including lost technologies,

outright magic, and — of course — aliens.

But while speculation is fun and all, Stonehenge doesn't need any help from myths and legends

to be cool.

After all, just because you understand something doesn't make it any less fascinating — and

there is a lot about Stonehenge we understand.

Archaeologists have been intensely studying this structure for more than a century, and

while many mysteries still remain, modern science has taught us quite a lot.

For centuries, visitors to Salisbury Plain in Wiltshire, England have marveled at Stonehenge

and tried to guess at the identity of its builders.

One of the earliest written suggestions came from Geoffrey of Monmouth, a bishop famous

for his fanciful writings on British history.

In the 1100s, he claimed that the monument was built by Merlin.

Yep.

The wizard Merlin, of Arthurian legend.

The story goes that Merlin used magic to construct Stonehenge as a monument for fallen soldiers,

using huge rocks that were originally carried out of Africa by giants.

And for a while, this was actually a pretty popular story.

Later scholars got more realistic, though, and proposed a list of non-fictional suspects,

including the Romans and the Mycenaeans from Greece.

And while artifacts found at Stonehenge indicate that some of those cultures did use or visit

the monument in its later years, recent evidence has ruled them out as its builders.

A lot of that evidence has come from radiocarbon dating.

This method is one of the most useful tools archaeologists have, because it mostly just

requires some radioactive carbon.

In nature, carbon atoms come in a few different forms, or isotopes, which have different numbers

of neutrons.

Some of these isotopes — like a key one called carbon-14 — are radioactive, so they

break down over time at really predictable rates.

By figuring out how much radioactive carbon has decayed in a material, scientists can

calculate how long ago the material formed.

And that means they can place a date on all sorts of organic substances.

Including ones found at Stonehenge.

Radiocarbon dating of human remains and artifacts has revealed that the monument's history

actually goes back to around 3000 BCE.

Which is definitely too old to have been built by the Romans or Mycenaeans… or Merlin!

Unfortunately, whatever group made Stonehenge didn't leave behind much evidence about

who they were, so their identity remains a mystery.

And the story is complicated even more by the fact that, like many ancient landmarks,

Stonehenge wasn't built in a day… or even in a century.4

Archaeologists have identified multiple phases of construction at the site over a period

of about 1500 years, possibly by different groups of people.

The earliest construction happened around 5000 years ago, and it involved the digging

of the circular ditch that still surrounds the monument.

This formation is very similar to a type of earthwork called a henge.

We know this partly from carbon dating pieces of tools that were left behind.

But we've also found cremated human remains from this period, hiding in pits within the

henge.

It's possible that some early stones were also put up around this time, but based on

other evidence, it's most likely that the famous, giant standing stones didn't arrive

for another 500 years.

So, even if there isn't enough evidence to say exactly who did the heavy lifting,

archaeology has been able to help us understand when it happened, which has ruled out some

suspects.

MERLIN.

Science has also been able to help us figure out how Stonehenge was built.

And one thing is for sure: Getting all these rocks into place was no easy task.

There are two major categories of stones — also called megaliths — at Stonehenge.

The enormous sarsens typically weigh around 22 metric tons each, while the smaller bluestones

are a modest 2 to 5 metric tons.

Today, there are around three dozen stones at the site, arranged into two outer circles

and two inner horseshoes.

But based on the holes dug into the ground, there likely used to be more.

From what we can tell, workers first dug holes for the rocks to sit in, and then hauled them

upright, probably with the help of ropes, A-frames, and lots and lots of people.

The standing stones were then capped with horizontal beams to form what architects call

lintels, like the beam over the top of a doorway.

These were probably lifted up there on wooden platforms that were dismantled after construction.

But these lintels weren't just plopped down.

Holes, tabs, and joints were carved into the rocks so that the architects could insert

Tab A into Slot B and fit them all together, like a very heavy piece of IKEA furniture.

Admittedly, this is some very advanced engineering for that time period, but unlike what a lot

of Internet forums say, it's not impossible.

The builders might have lived a few thousand years before cranes and power tools, but they

still had that good old fashioned human ingenuity… which we tend to overlook.

Also, never underestimate the power of a good ramp and pulley system.

Archaeologists think major work on Stonehenge continued until around 1500 BCE, and that

in that time, more earthwork features were dug, and the bluestones were rearranged multiple

times.

But who built the structure and how actually aren't the biggest questions scientists

and historians have asked.

Instead, the real mystery is how the stones got there.

See, the big sarsens are made of sandstone, and the bluestones are variously formed from

rhyolite, dolerite, and other types of rock.

But none of them match the geology of the nearby area.

Thankfully, no matter how far a stone has traveled, it still has the same geologic age

and composition as the formation it came from.

So, after analyzing the mineral makeup of the stones at Stonehenge, as well as determining

their age with other forms of radiometric dating, geologists have been able to go hunting

for outcrops that match its features.

And we think we've found some answers.

Although there's still plenty of debate, many scientists believe the sarsens came from

a region called Marlborough Downs, about 32 kilometers from Stonehenge.

And the bluestones most likely came from the Preseli Hills of Wales more than 200 kilometers

away.

A 2015 study from the journal Antiquity even identified a site that not only matches the

geology of the bluestones but also shows evidence of quarrying during the right time period.

The researchers have suggested this might actually be a site where Stonehenge rocks

were extracted.

Which is pretty amazing.

Of course, that still doesn't explain how people moved the rocks.

It seems like an overwhelming task, to the point where it's been proposed that the

rocks weren't moved by humans at all.

For once, though, I'm not talking about aliens.

I'm talking about glaciers.

It's been suggested multiple times that these huge stones may have been glacial dropstones,

carried by advancing glaciers and deposited when the ice receded.

But modern archaeologists tend not to agree with this.

For one thing, they point out that there's a lack of good evidence for glacial activity

on the Salisbury Plain.

We don't see any major piles of glacier-carried rocks, and certainly no deposits of the type

of stones used to build Stonehenge.

And for another, they argue you don't need glaciers to explain the movement of these

megaliths.

Again, human ingenuity is enough.

For example, some researchers think the rocks may have traveled over water.

Ancient peoples could have loaded them onto boats and carted them along rivers and coastlines.

.Some people have even traced out specific waterways that could have taken the bluestones

from the Preseli Hills in Wales all the way to Stonehenge

On the other hand, the stones could have also moved over land.

In 2016, a group of students from University College London conducted an experiment to

test just how hard it would be to move a megalith.

Inspired by technologies from ancient Japan, they constructed a large wooden sleigh laid

on top of a path of wooden logs.

They put roughly one-metric-ton of stone on the sleigh, and pulled it across London's

Gordon Square.

With only ten people pulling, they were able to move the rock up to three and a half kilometers

per hour.

So maybe Stonehenge architects used a similar technique.

Or, like other scientists have pointed out, maybe they just rounded up a bunch of people

and carried the rocks.

All in all, it's hard to say which of these ideas — if any — is closest to the truth,

because no one has found any direct evidence of a transport route.

It has, after all, been an awful long time.

But there's good reason to suspect people were at least capable of moving these megaliths

without any help from magic or tractor beams.

Historians are still investigating why they might have gone through so much trouble, but

either way, with all of the hard work that went into building it, it's pretty clear

that Stonehenge was important.

It may have served a number of purposes, but scientists know for sure that it was a long-used

burial ground.

The cremated remains of more than 60 people have been extracted from beneath the monument,

and it's estimated that there may have been more than 150 burials at the site over its

centuries of use.

For a long time, we didn't know who these people were, but recent research ha s begun

to unravel that mystery, too.

New excavations at Stonehenge in 2008 opened up the doors for more modern scientific analyses

on these remains, including a technique called stable isotope analysis.

Unlike radiocarbon dating, this method looks at isotopes that haven't decayed much over

time.

And instead of being used to determine age, it can be used to examine the chemical makeup

of remains.

Kind of like the stones themselves, the bodies at Stonehenge hold the chemical signatures

of the environments they lived in, picked up from the water they drank and the locally-grown

food they ate.

That can tell scientists where they likely lived.

A 2018 study in Scientific Reports found that some of the bodies had isotopic signatures

that matched the local environment.

So these were probably people who lived nearby.

But others had signatures pointing to more distant regions like Devon or Wales.

Since these signatures are also affected by the type of wood used for the cremation process,

the .

It's not yet clear exactly who these people were, but it seems people from near and far

were buried here, maybe because their relatives were, or because this site was used by a culture

that was often on the move.

More digging and more research will hopefully tell.

Regardless, whoever it was that built, used, and buried their dead at Stonehenge, we do

know that they weren't alone.

Whether because of the environment or other factors, the Salisbury Plain is one of the

richest archaeological regions in the world.

There are hundreds of other burial sites and ancient remains, and researchers have used

all kinds of cool methods to investigate them — including ground-penetrating radar and

lasers.

So there may still be a lot of mystery surrounding Stonehenge, but those questions aren't unanswerable.

And as we keep researching and introducing newer technologies, more science — and more

knowledge — is yet to come.

Unlike the builders of Stonehenge, you probably won't be dragging megaliths across the countryside

any time soon.

But if you want to get in touch with your inner Bronze Age human, you can always try

pottery.b

Archaeologists have found plenty of pottery shards around Salisbury Plain, and thanks

to Skillshare, you can learn to make some of your own, too.

In this class, called Building Dishes by Hand, artist Emily Reinhardt teaches you how to

'Flack' pops crisis-PR bubble with timely dramedy - Duration: 3:03.

Anna Paquin, Sophie Okonedo in 'Flack' (CNN)Pop TV might not loom large on the average TV viewer's radar, but the cable network has a show that feels very much of the moment in "Flack," a British drama starring Anna Paquin as a take-no-prisoners public-relations pro, charged with extricating celebrity clients from various crises

The title, it's worth noting, is a disparaging term for publicists, and the world of crisis PR provides the juiciest possible backdrop for a gig that often requires saving the rich and famous from themselves, or at least finding creative ways to minimize their missteps

Still, in this age of social-media outbursts and click-driven journalism, "Flack" is an amusingly exaggerated look at how the sausage gets made, played as satire, while promoting these hired PR guns to a role that occasionally approximates services lawyers, agents and managers normally provide

Paquin plays Robyn, an American working for a U.K. firm, who's completely unflappable at work and of course a mess in terms of her personal life

The latter aspect of the show is considerably weaker -- or at least, less interesting -- than the matters Robyn tackles in her day job, though it does offer a nice contrast between a person wedded to her job and her married sister (Genevieve Angelson), who has kids at home and thirsts for some of the glamour and freedom that Robyn enjoys

Robyn's clients run the gamut of celebrity misbehavior, from being caught cheating on spouses to hiding secrets about their sexuality or (in one of the more twisted subplots) pretending to be pregnant

"Did you think we'd resolve this without lying?" she calmly tells one in the premiere

Read MoreThe firm features a colorful assortment of personalities, none better than Sophie Okonedo as Robyn's ruthless boss, Caroline

Her whatever-works mentality -- which includes finding a female date for a gay-rights event, never mind that she isn't a lesbian -- is mirrored by hard-partying colleague Eve (Lydia Wilson), while a wide-eyed intern (Rebecca Benson) presents a grounded counterpoint to the absurdities these veterans of the PR wars accept without batting an eyelash

"The world keeps turning," Caroline says during one of the quieter moments. "We just help push

""Flack" certainly does its share of pushing, but more importantly it pulls you in, and reels you along through its six playfully salacious episodes

This is a conceit that's obviously been explored multiple times, just usually not very well

Owned by CBS, Pop has achieved modest successes with its forays into original programming (see "Schitt's Creek"), but this represents its most polished offering to date, serving as a reminder that in this age of international TV production, a binge-worthy show can, er, pop up anywhere

"Flack" premieres Feb. 21 at 9 p.m. on Pop TV.

It was not clear if she has retained counsel for the civil case against her

a huge parking and you can park it there!

well look at that so that's the food restaurant area let's check inside and

find something looks good Alright so let's go!!

all I want to eat something but just there are so many people over there

So forget it!!

yes finally arrived to the fish market it was kind of far

yeah you see the station over there so actually we have to walk all the way down to this

place it was about I think seven to ten minutes okay so let's check the market inside

there are many fish Kanjis over here those Kanjis are perky difficult

Even I am Japanese I can't read it so right here unagi which is a Japanese eel

my favorite fish and there are many explanations about the fish

that's the cart usually they use in the market and there is a guy !

well I don't know who he is but why don't we take a picture

well there's other guys well but

it's okay I don't have to take a picture with them

okay so this is like a souvenir street huh?

look at this I got Tamagoyaki I love this one was only 130 Japanese yen

so that's a good for snack

tasty it's kind of sweet and then so condensed egg taste

you see? even this eggs but it's skewered interesting right? it's sweet and good

this place is like a Japanese souvenir Street I believe it's like a Doguyasuji

in Osaka so maybe this is a good place to find a souvenir all right so let's

check next place so I'm going back to the station right now and heading to the

next building where the market exists all right yeah let's go

Alright so finally I arrived to the fish market right here

well you see all the way down over there that's the place where I was and walking

all the way down and finally I'm here that was kind of far

but, finally I arrived so let's see inside the building

well actually so this is the aisle to go to the fish market so there are many

restaurants around here and so many people as well well I think

you can eat the lunch from 1000 JPY- I guess like if you wanna

spend money then like you can't spend over 10,000 Japanese yen I

believe because I've seen many expensive fancy restaurant okay

so when I became a popular youtuber then I would buy it but no now yeah

for now maybe yoshinoya is good for me actually

this is the way to go to the fish market yes still we have to work

let's keep walking that's the entrance for the fish market

let's go, it was about three to four minutes walking I think yeah not that far

oh look at that that's a huge fish over there I believe

it's a tuna well so look at this huge

so this is the actual size this is the

biggest size they had the weight is 500 kilogram and three meters long

that's huge Wow so this place seems more interesting compared to the other place

alright so let's keep walking

it's noon time so there no people so here well if you come over here in super

early time then you can watch their fish auction actually Wow it is interesting huh

well so this is explanation of the fish market

they start it from 2 a.m. and their auction started from 4:30 a.m. so of course

it's already over so I guess it's pretty much it

That was long walk so if you

really enjoy Toyosu market then you'd better come over here at 5:00 a.m.

I believe, which the market starts well, in that way you can see the fish auction

as well it must be fun I believe!! last one is fruits and veggies

yes the building over there well actually this place is much closer

than other places

they're preparing for tomorrow's auction

it's huge in long huh? well look at that the each window has the name and the

colors for example this one is wasabi well the next one is a Sakuranbo which

is a cherry it's cool huh so if you come over here with your friend and if you're

lost you can call them and then hey where are you at

well I'm at Wasabi! come over to Wasabi yeah easy to meet with your friend cool

good idea alright so let's check more

so this is the main observatory right here this place as well if you come over in

early time like 5 a.m. then you see many people having an auction over there but

now it's already overed still interesting though

alright so that was

pretty much it and it took about three hours and the most of them I was walking

well as you guys know this is a huge place so if you want to come over here

get ready for walking but it was really interesting though this video pretty

much that's it !! hope you liked the video thanks for watching my video and please

subscribe to my channel and if you liked the video please thumbs up and also

please check my other videos as well thank you very much bye bye

Joe Anglim: 5 Things About Fan-Favorite 'Survivor' Contestant Returning For Season 38 - Breaking New - Duration: 4:04.

A VERY familiar face is returning for 'Survivor: Edge of Extinction' — Joe Anglim is back to play for a third time, and you can get to know him better before the premiere right here!  Joe Anglim is a fan favorite on Survivor, so viewers were stoked to learn that he'd be one of four returning players for season 38, Survivor: Edge of Extinction

Joe, along with Kelley Wentworth, David Wright and Aubry Bracco, will join 14 new players on the new season, which premieres Feb

20. The 29-year-old has already played Survivor twice, and as a super likable guy and challenge threat, he'll likely have a target on his back from day one

Before we see Joe's fate play out on Edge of Extinction, get to know him better here:    1

What is his history with 'Survivor'? Joe first appeared on season 30 of Survivor: Worlds Apart

He was a member of the "No Collar" tribe, and formed a tight alliance with several of the tribe's other members

At the tribe swap, Joe found himself in a bit of trouble as the only No Collar in his new tribe, but he fought his way through it and made the merge

Joe was immediately targeted at the merge because of his strength in challenges, but he survived the first two votes by winning immunity

Once he lost immunity, though, he was voted out immediately, finishing in tenth place

Joe wasted no time returning to Survivor, and was cast on the show's very next season, Survivor: Cambodia — Second Chance

Thanks to luck in tribe immunity challenges and a tight "final five" alliance, Joe made it to the merge

He proved himself to be a major threat at that point by winning the first FOUR individual immunity challenges in a row

He got through the next two votes, but was eliminated after that, finishing in seventh place

 2. He's dating a fellow 'Survivor' alum. Joe met his now-girlfriend, Sierra Dawn-Thomas, on Survivor: Worlds Apart

The two stayed great friends after the show, and often found themselves at the same events in support of the show in the years after filming

Sierra competed on Survivor's 34th season, Game Changers, and it wasn't until after that that she and Joe got together romantically

Sierra was the one who encouraged Joe to return for Edge of Extinction. "I've never been more inspired by such a hard-working, beautiful and caring woman," Joe said about Sierra

"She inspires me to be the best version of myself every single day."  3. He's super athletic

Joe played basketball in high school and helped lead his team to a state championship his senior year

In college, he played indoor volleyball. When he was a senior, his team upset the best team in the country to win a huge tournament in Las Vegas

 4. He's super artistic. Joe received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Metal and Jewelry Arts from Northern Arizona University

He became a self-employed jewelry designer, and currently works as  Multimedia Designer Artist and Influencer

His workshops use meditation and art therapy to create "healthy awareness and self care stress management," according to his LinkedIn page

   5. It's his dream to win 'Survivor.' Even after playing twice before, Joe said it's still his dream to hear Jeff Probst say that he is the "Sole Survivor

" He plans to take the experience he gained during his past attempts at the game and apply his mistakes to win this time around

[Sado Island] Noh Performance - Niigata - 能 - 4K Ultra HD - Duration: 8:01.

One of Sado Island's attractions, besides its many beautiful temples and it's gorgeous landscape,

is the many Noh (Japanese traditional play) that are actually performed by local villagers in some of the many temples of the Island.

Here unlike many other places in Japan, Sado Noh-watching style is more laid-back

and convivial and where in the past rich and poor people mingled.

Noh performances are usually quite long and uneventful compared to western style performances.

It would be quite difficult to understand if you are not fluent in Japanese.

Which explains why today we will only show you a fraction of what the whole performance was all about.

Man City fans FURIOUS with one player for Champions League mistake - 'F*** off!' - Duration: 1:43.

Pep Guardiola's side are taking on the German outfit in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie.

The Premier League leaders were in cruise control after Sergio Aguero tapped in to give them the lead.

But Schalke were back on level terms when former Tottenham midfielder Nabil Bentaleb fired home from the spot.

Daniel Caligiuri's long-range effort was diverted away from goal and the referee took two minutes to make a decision after consulting VAR officials.

Otamendi appeared to be moving away from the ball but Carlos del Cerro Grande eventually awarded a spot-kick.

And fans took to social media to express their rage at the centre-back.

"F*** off Otamendi," said one fan on Twitter.

While another added: "Otamendi is actually bad."

"Anyone want Otamendi?" tweeted a third.

"I'll drive him down, and I cannot even drive."

Otamendi has often been criticised since joining City and he was partnering Fernandinho in the middle of a makeshift defence.

The Brazilian conceded a second penalty just seven minutes after the first but City fans had barely gotten over Otamendi's handball.

"So good of the Make A Wish Foundation to let Otamendi play with professional footballers," said one fan.

While another added: "Otamendi is as useless as it gets."

Otamendi was booked for the handball and was then shown a second yellow after the break, meaning he'll miss the second leg.

The return fixture at the Etihad takes place on March 12.

Blender Grease Pencil - Beginner Quick Tips Vol. 03 - Duration: 8:08.

Hello and welcome to another beginner tip video.

In this video I want to talk about the "Overlays ICONS" in "DRAW Mode"

and the "Tool Bar" up here.

We start here on the top left with the "Editor Type".

This is a quick selection icon for your "Workspace"

the same you can find up here in the "task bar".

Here you can switch between the different "MODES" of your selected object.

Next we come to the "Paint in FRONT or BACK" icon.

To show you the whole thing, I've prepared something.

For Example: If you only want to work in one layer, this "ICON" will certainly help you,

but also even if you work in several layers.

How does it work, I add a few more details to the snowman.

So that i can explain it to you better.

I activate now the "ICON" and draw here the cap of the snowman.

As you can see, when I confirm my work, the drawn layer jumps into the background.

The same here again with the scarf.

This means that as long as the "ICON" is activated, everything you draw will be placed in the

background.

If I deactivate the "ICON" and draw a carrot, as you can see that it is drawn again in the

foreground.

And so you can choose, if you want to draw in a layer in the foreground or in the background.

I paint here a few points by mistake that happens to me very often with the graphic

tablet.

So that I do not have to delete every single point individually.

Let's quickly go into "Editor Mode" under "STROKES" and "Clean up" and click on

"Loose Points".

This will delete individual points that are not connected to each other.

Let's get to the next "ICON".

So that I can show you this, I quickly draw a stick-man

Add an "Armature" and connect this "With automatic Weights" with the "Grease Pencil" object.

Then I go to the "Vertex Groups", here is a new group.

I select all points here and click on "Assign".

Now comes the "ICON".

If I do not want to select everything in "Edit mode" and press "Assign".

I activate the "ICON" select a brush, do not forget the "Vertex Group" must be selected.

Now i paint the hands of the stroke man.

As you can see now, the points are automatically added to this "Vertex Group".

So, I delete all this and we come to the next "ICON".

I quickly create a material so that you can see better.

For example, if I draw a semicircle in frame 1 and in frame 2 and in frame 3.

And playing the whole thing you can see that the semicircle moves from frame to frame.

The drawings from the last frame will not be displayed.

When I draw something in the first frame and activate the "ICON".

Than you can see that in the next frame the previous drawing is added.

This feature is may be helpful to some of you.

Now we come to "View" here you can set your view.

With "Stokes" we also have different settings but we will not go into that now.

With "Stroke Placement" you can choose between "Origin", "3D Cursor", "Surface"

and "Stroke".

Here at "Drawing Plane" you can choose in which Axes you want to draw.

Depending on which view you select, the drawn line is automatically drawn to the value 0

of the axis.

Next comes a helpful option, Guides.

If we activate the "ICON" and select "Circular" and click here on "Draw".

Now we are assisted in drawing a perfect circle.

At Radial, starting from the red dot, drawing straight lines and different angles

is supported.

In "Parallel" it is so that we can draw in the horizontal straight lines with support.

Now only "Grid" remains, that is very easy here you can draw with the help of "Grids"

in the background horizontal and vertical lines with support.

You can still enable "Use Snapping," but that's more advanced.

If we switch off "Guides" now we can continue to draw normally.

So we come briefly to the "Overlays" these settings are available in every "MODE".

Here you can quickly show and hide your "Collections" and cameras.

The same with "Object Types" this is just a quick selection, just like "Outliner".

Here you can switch your "overlays" on and off and you have different setting options.

With "Scene Transparent" all objects are transparent on the display.

This currently only works with 3D objects.

Here you can choose between the "Shading" types: "Wire Frame", "Solid", "Look Dev" or

"Render".

I prefer the "Look Dev" because I do not like the white background, but everyone should

decide for themselves.

Here we have the axis view, you can also switch with the "Numpad 1-3-7" or simply click on

the axes.

Next comes "Zoom In & Out" you can also do with the mouse wheel.

Then we go to "Move the View" that also works with "Shift" and the middle mouse button.

For the camera, you can switch between the camera view and the last view, or press

NumPad 0.

In "Switch View" you can switch between Perspective and Orthographic View or press NumPad 5.

Up here in the "Tool Bar" you have the same choices as below in the "Properties".

There we have the brush, the materials,

the radius, the strength, Brush, Options, Curves, Appearance.

Here you can create and save your own brushes.

Yea that's it, i hope you liked the video.

If you wanted to see more videos, leave a "LIKE" and a subscribe

and i see you in the next video.

Sarri's mood, moral & new faces - behind the scenes at Chelsea training - Duration: 5:37.

The eyes of the media world were firmly on Maurizio Sarri this afternoon as Chelsea opened up their training session to the public ahead of the Europa League tie with Malmo

Rumours have been swirling non-step about his future since Monday night after Sarri's side were dumped out of the FA Cup by Manchester United, just over a week after they'd been torn apart by Manchester City in a 6-0 thrashing at the Etihad

'You don't know what you're doing' and 'f*** Sarri-ball' were the chants being sang at Stamford Bridge on Monday night, but a pleasant afternoon in Cobham seemed a million miles away from the anger that had erupted during that second half

Despite having been grilled for a good 20 minutes beforehand, Sarri emerged onto the training pitch in a seemingly good mood, deep in conversation with January signing Gonzalo Higuain, the man who followed the boss to England after a spell with Napoli saw him enjoy one of his best seasons to date

If there was one thing everyone on the sidelines was looking out for it was the mood of the players

There are some suggestions that Sarri may have lost the changing room - Chelsea's payers have a history of turning on their manager, after all, like we saw at the end of Antonio Conte's rein in west London

If there is any dissent towards Sarri, the players didn't show it as they emerged in dribs and drabs for training this afternoon

Marcos Alonso was the first man out, heading to the pitches by himself to keep a ball up in the air while he waited for his team mates to arrive and keep him company

He's come in for a lot of criticism recently and endured a horrid game on Monday night - perhaps he wanted to get out first to show Sarri he still deserves his place at left back in the Chelsea side?  Once the entire team had emerged, including youth team players Jamie Cumming, Marcel Lewis and Clinton Mola, training got underway with a rondo session with three players chasing down the ball

It was intense, fast-paced action and it sums up for me what Sarri wants at Chelsea - he wants his team to be able to play out of tight holes, move the ball quickly and score goals, all as a unit

If you were watching with a cynical tint on your glasses, you could also say there was a point to Sarri having all his players compete in one big rondo - to show that Chelsea are a unit and his players are behind him

Gallery: Chelsea stars in training ahead of Malmo Europa League clash View gallery  Not that Sarri was involved himself

A couple of times he would have words with a player, like he did with Willian, but he spent most of the opening part of the session prowling up and down the touchline, watching every ball his players kicked

It was similar to what we saw at Stamford Bridge the other night as he cut an agitated figure, stalking his way up the touchline before being told to get back into his technical area by the fourth official

If this is a man under pressure, he's hiding it well - at times he looked like he was enjoying an afternoon stroll through Richmond Park as opposed to being under the media glare at a Chelsea training session as his future hangs in the balance

It's hard to know what the players were thinking of the session as they drilled through rondo after rondo, although there were a number of times the team would erupt in laughter as a player would mess up, with the loudest coming for Antonio Rudiger as he made a real dog's dinner of a pass

He spoke to us before training in the press conference about Sarri's training methods too, comparing his sessions to going to school

"It's the same if you sit in school all day and listen to someone," he said, "it sometimes gets mental but you have to do your job

"  The mental side of those training sessions wasn't on show today with a round of 32 Europa League tie with Malmo hanging over the squad, but each of those players certainly have a job to do

This week is a defining period for Chelsea and Sarri - they're already out of the FA Cup and if Rudiger and his team mates don't do their job tomorrow against Malmo and get knocked out of Europe, the writing may well be on the wall for Sarri before a ball is even kicked in th Carabao Cup final

'Sick of it' Sala transfer broker McKay insists £15m deal was clean and he's 'sick' of rumours - Duration: 4:44.

EMILIANO SALA'S transfer broker Willie McKay insists the deal for the £15million striker was "clean"

McKay is stunned at claims the transfer of the Nantes player to Cardiff was corrupt and he distanced Bluebirds manager Neil Warnock from any wrongdoing

And McKay wants a public meeting with Cardiff chairman Mehmet Dalman, chief executive Ken Choo and Warnock

He said: "We have nothing to hide, the rumours are f***ing c**p, absolutely f***ing c**p

"I'm sick of it. I'm shocked people are saying this. I'm waiting for the FA to phone me

"I want a public meeting with everybody there and you can chair it — Sky, the papers, everybody can come

"  Cardiff are refusing to pay Nantes any money for the tragic Argentine star until they are satisfied with the answers to ten questions revealed in SunSport on Monday

Sala was killed when the Piper Malibu carrying him across the English Channel crashed into the sea on January 21

Pilot Dave Ibbotson has not been found.  The two clubs have agreed to extend the deadline on the first instalment of the £15m transfer fee for the player until Wednesday

McKay, who was given the mandate to sell Sala on behalf of Nantes, attempted to clear up a number of other allegations surrounding the other middlemen who have been named in the deal

Emiliano Sala signed potentially invalid £15million contract with Cardiff City before fatal plane crash  Cardiff have already acknowledged that Sala's official agent Meissa N'Diaye would be paid his commission by the club

But McKay insisted Babe Drame, cousin of Sunderland defender Lamine Kone, works for the McKay family

He added: "Babe Drame is a guy who speaks very good French, English, Spanish. He is Kone's cousin — that's how I know him

He's working for us."  McKay also said Bakari Sanogo, who is close to Nantes president Waldemar Kita, is not in on the deal

He added: "No — he was not due a cut."  McKay has been interviewed by Cardiff's lawyers Capital Law at his home in Doncaster and has also been grilled by the Air Accident Investigation Branch

They are due to publish an interim report on the causes of the accident that claimed two lives tomorrow

McKay added: "The AAIB know the plane was not owned by me. Why won't the owner come forward? They have probably seen the abuse I am getting

" Cardiff forced the transfer of Emiliano Sala through as a matter of urgency to avoid relegation
