is it YouTube I post videos on here three days a week Sunday Wednesday and
Thursday here's the deal we got one hour I gotta do some major vacuuming guys I
can't tell you the last time our house is vacuumed mm-hmm
no joke and then I'm going to wet mop these floors here that I'm standing in
in the kitchen maybe the entryway I got some water to do I don't know if we're
gonna have time to get to the laundry I
don't know about you but that laundry situation is a little bit maddening over
it over and over head never ends ah all right so we're gonna see if we can get
through that so vacuum floor is laundry I'm gonna tidy along the way for some
added bonus yes yes yes also because we like to do the health in
the fitness also over here we are going to drink our water and get hydrated I
got my water bottle right here all filled up ready to go and in this video
every time I say the word boom you see what I just did there
no not wipe the water message take a drink take a drink we're gonna hydrate
it I went to the gym this morning and I have not had enough water and I gotta
work here in about an hour it's hard to get up because it's so busy so I'm gonna
get my water and take now all that good stuff so what's the word yeah you're
smart you're good you're listening you listening
good BAM that's - enough jabbering let's do it
and don't you worry I'm gonna plan some Bodhi bumpin beats for you or whatever
your flavor is and I am going to be jamming out to some good stuff too

halfway done there chugalug baby worked up a sweat that feels awesome too so I
got the whole upstairs vacuum as you notice it is not perfect by any means so
this is just about getting it done maintaining that sort of thing all right
next stop you know it we're gonna clean well we're gonna wet mop these kitchen
floors here they're very dirty very dirty stop staring at my zit just
kidding no seriously stop staring visit alright one more oh I need not say the
word BAM in order for you to drink you can just drink along to we're making
good time we're getting pumped up we're having fun let's do it
yeehaw don't mind the washing machine in the background no easy as hell alright
BAM oh that almost done hey coming on your water good you feeling refreshed
you feeling ready to kick some butt you feel motivated to clean or get something
done yeah good all right what's next it's all right
kitty she wants a treat she's a treat monster it's all about the
truth Mike who are we kidding I like treats too okay next I'm going to sort
the laundry and I'm gonna do in the kitchen
I'm tired of do it in my bedroom let's change up the scenery when you get a
little bored right we make in the mundane just a little insane we're gonna
change it up I have I want to do this in 20 minutes do you think we can do this
in 20 minutes it is 949 so I'll get myself till 10:20
I know that's more than 20 minutes that's 30 ish minutes around there okay
yeah enough that let's start some laundry but first one more one more for
good measure BAM
when we get done sorting our laundry we'll come back we'll finish this and
we're gonna feel real good
boom BAM oh the same thing in my book close enough boom ah bam you be drinking
okay so I did not record the entire laundry folding process as the Canadian
say because this video would be so long but I have it all sorted
I put the towels away and then manana I will go through and hang all this stuff
up because we hang the majority of our clothes
I'm feeling really accomplished yes you too
good okay let's grab our water one last drink here good how we doing on time
haha it is 10 10 so I did it faster than I anticipated so this this is good okay
the next thing that I'm gonna do is I'm just gonna sit down for a hot second ah
there yeah alright next thing I'm doing I want to get something to eat have some
oatmeal fuel up have some berries I have not eaten breakfast yet today busy run
around that sort of thing and yeah thank you so much for joining me today it's

Fish Brats / Fish Bratwurst / Fish Sausage Homemade / Easy BBQ Recipe / The BBQ Lady - Duration: 10:04.

Welcome to a new episode of "The BBQ Lady".
Have you ever tried a "fish-bratwurst"?
Or even made one yourself – or produced regular bratwurst on your own?
Never?
I have to say, I have never done a fish bratwurst either.
That's why I'd say, let's work on that together in this video.
Have fun !
How did I come across the idea of making my own fish-bratwurst?
Being a fisher myself I always think about how to prepare the fish I catch...
...and I'm always looking for new ideas.
And last time, me and my hunter friend Max, we produced sausages ourselves.
Namely deer-sausages.
I will display a link to the video in the top right corner once I have finalized it.
And that was the deciding factor, that I also want to make fish-bratwurst.
Using the fish to make sausages which are filled in a natural casing.
And then grill those fish sausages, of course.
I was fishing today, sadly unsuccessfully as I didn't catch anything...
...which is why I had to go to the grocery store to get some frozen ones.
But I think those are also legitimate to use.
Today we will have fish-bratwurst with sea fish, namely: cod-filet, wild-salmon as well as coalfish.
I let it thaw and obviously dried it of really good.
Here you really have to get rid of all the defrost water and then I think it should be good.
We just don't want as much moisture inside our bratwurst.
In addition, we have fresh herbs going into the sausage.
And by the way: what do you think about potato-salad?
That's what we are having today as a side-dish with homemade remoulade.
I think that is going to be a fine meal…
I'd say I will prepare everything, I will cut the herbs, cut the fish in small pieces.
I chose not to use the traditional preparation style for bratwurst, namely not using a grinder.
It is simply because the fish meat is unlike real meat and I can just cut it with a knife instead.
Good, that's how I will prepare everything and then we will continue.
Well not really continue, we are going to start!
You can see me here covering the natural casing over the filler-pipe.
For this you fix the plastic-hose towards the end of the filler.
I will show you here in a second.
I would say that it's quite a lot natural casing.
Now it's almost done, just another moment.
I will take a pair of scissors and cut it off.
And now we pull the plastic-thing off which we put on the filler tube in the beginning.
Just a moment.
Now.
Good.
Let me will check if we can find the beginning again, yeah exactly: here is where we tie the knot.
And if you look at the filler-tube again and the plastic: You just usher it in the tube...
...like this and the natural casing will slide over it...
...and then you can start pulling it back like I did earlier with the casing.
Before, as you can see it here, I already prepared the filling of the fish bratwurst.
I cut the fresh herbs, cut the fish-filet with a knife in really small and tiny pieces.
Here you need some patience and in the best case a helper...
...which thank God, I have in person of my cameraman.
But I think the effort really pays off.
I squashed the fish-mass together really nice, then added the herbs:
used half a teaspoon of sea salt and a teaspoon of pepper.
Mixed it really good added the herbs, dill, tarragon and parsley.
Now, we prepared everything to start the filling process: Here we have the sausage-filler...
... and here we add our fish-mass.
But first we have to adjust the winder.
Because of this winder or crank the mass gets pushed into the front and then of course into...
...the natural casing - so we need to crank it back all the way.
As you can see I am really doing it for the first time ever on my own.
Just filling it up all the way, it fits in a lot.
It seems that I will need a helper later, so when making sausages I recommend...
...doing it together or even with three people.
It's a really nice thing or work to do with others.
And afterwards you can enjoy the self-produced bratwursts together.
Now I will adjust and fix the filler-pipe on the sausage-filler.
I will just start it.
The mass has to be pressed in front first.
The natural casing is filled, and now I will twist off the sausages.
I think they have a beautiful color, take a look.
The herbs and the orange from the wild-salmon.
Now what did Max say in the deer-bratwurst-video?
We are looking for two soft spots and then you form it.
Or you just make it to the length you want and then you twist.
Fine, then you take the next spot.
Push the guts a little away and turn again, that's why you don't want to pack them too much.
Now what do you say?
For the first time it doesn't look bad.
Perfect, I'd say I start the grill and then we will see if they taste good too.
Alright, the sausages are ready to go on the grill.
The grill is preheated at 200° Celsius (which is about 390 degrees Fahrenheit).
But before starting I want to give you another advice:
You saw my sausage filler, where you needed two people to fill the natural casing.
One to hold it tight, the other to work on the sausages.
This one costs around 25 euro (which is about 30 US Dollars).
But I recommend that you invest 10 more euro or dollars and get...
..., if you want to make sausages more often, a vertical sausage-filler.
That vertical one you can fix to a table and then you will be able to do the filling-process on your own.
Even though it's fun to do it with two people.
That's just a recommendation from my own experience, because I know the vertical one from my father.
When my father is butchering he uses the vertical one.
The grill is ready.
I hope that I didn't fill the sausages too firm, which is why I will only grill them softly.
Let's put them on there now.
It would be really sad if they pop open.
I would say I will get a nice plate ready and then we will taste test it.
Well, what do you say about my fish bratwurst?
One more thing I want to mention: don't be surprised when they are on the grill...
...because they react like a dead fish in the water.
No sizzling sound!
I really had to open the lid and check if there was any gas left...
...or if the grill is off already – because there was no big sizzling sound.
It's probably due to the sausages containing a minimum amount of fat.
I'd say it could be disguised as "Fitness-food", a lot of protein and barely any fat.
I also thought about the dip, because mustard – medium hot or sweet - would not be the right fit.
That's why I chose homemade remoulade, which is really easy to prepare.
They are really juicy, it really tastes like fish.
And something I think is really nice: those of you who don't like the fish-bones while eating...
...they don't have to worry, really nice.
Because we used fish filets you don't find any bones which is why you can eat it without any worries.
I recommend you to try recreating the fish-bratwurst.
If you like fish you will love fish-bratwurst.
