I bought another new Megatron

Yes it's my guilty pleasure

I have at least five G1 Megatron

with different colors

but then finally I console myself by saying

that it is not really a Megatron.

It has the color of Megatron, he has the appearance of Megatron

So why i bought this dude?

well just look at this little face here

This is the chrome version

they put the G1 cartoon face on it

and the gun mode looks pretty good

However this is a product that may break in my hands

made with an ultra-light plastic and ultra disappointing

but I suggest we discover this together

Look it still has all the accessories that usually come with Megatron

it does not look ugly

The art on the box look cool

Is it an original illustration?

Or was it designed by the creators of this KO?

Anyway it really looks like the stages of transformation

that inside the toy

I propose that we discover Megotroun together!

here we go!

That's how it comes out of the packaging

frankly I'm quite satisfied with the number of accessories

because I did not expect that much

There's an extra face

Megatron's head with a sadistic smile

there is also the key to Vector Sigma

the laser gun

the small helmet

an articulated Energon spiked ball

with three axes that allows different poses

that's cool

the lightsaber

it necessarily has a compressor and the shoulder stock

In August of 2017 my worst fear came true!

My doll took a tumble during a photo shoot, he fell face first on cement!

I was so depressed with the whole situation, that it took a year before I tried to fix him up!

With my new found courage, I decide to finally give him life again!

I use 600 grit sandpaper to smooth out the deep scratches

Don't forget to wear a face mask or respirator!

Resin dust is not good for your lungs!

I continue sanding until I get a good even and smooth surface.

Adding water helps the sanding process as well!

It washes away the fine dust particles so you can see better, and allows the sand paper to glide over the surface easier.

As you can see, his nose is a little one sided, so I'll sand more to round it off.

continue sanding until you get a good shape!

Then you can use 2000 grit buffing sandpaper to smooth it to perfection!

After a few hours... he is like new again!

His nose is a little misshapen... but I think it adds character!

After a coat of MSC we are ready to paint!

using chalk pastels, I brush on the base skin colors

I am using acrylic paint for the eyeliner

I use a wet magic eraser to wipe away the paint if I need to redo a section

Using a mechanical pencil, I can sketch out the design for his face markings

I decided I didn't like this design haha...

I was happy with this design so I started to paint it

but then I realized I should have erased the pencil first

since I was painting with a light color, the pencil will show through the paint

If I was painting in a dark color, this would be fine, but it will look better if I erase the pencil first!

I am painting the design from memory, it's a little harder to get everything just the way it was in the sketch, but I'll manage!

This wasn't in the sketch but I had an idea to add these dots

makeup time!

I use a magic eraser to shape the eyebrows~

sometimes I'll use a small blade to remove unwanted paint.

if you gently scrape the paint you want removed, you will not harm the doll

This is only useful for very small painting mistakes, if it is a large area, you should just wipe the whole area clean with water.

He's finally done! Now let's see what he looks like all together!

02 不外出拜年 因為是「赤口」
