First of all, it's a real big honor to interview you, to talk to you Paul

and I gotta tell you I am NOT a professional interviewer

but I'm curious so I'll just ask you some things.

And I'm curious

I assume some time in the sixties.

Set the stage. When did you first hear the word meditation and what did you make of it?

It was actually George Harrison's wife Pattie who had heard that Maharishi

was coming to town and she said we should all go. It was one of those things.

And, I was personally not in a good good place.

I think you know just overdoing it in the sixties.

so I was just not very sort of centered and I was looking for something.

I think we all were.

So we heard that Maharishi was going to have a meeting and give a lecture.

So that was the first time I've heard about meditation

but we've actually seen him when we were kids growing up in Liverpool

because as you know he went around the world seven times to spread his message.

And he was on TV and we remembered this giggly little guy and we thought we loved him

which was so cool you know and he was just on TV and is giving an interview

and he would giggle, a faboulous laugh of his and he was very entertaining and very attractive.

so we all said that's that guy but then I say he was giving a lecture.

Where was it?

In London.

And do you remember the place?

I don't remember. I think it was in Kensington, Chelsea or somewhere.

But, so that was the first time I heard about him. We all went along to listen.

And in the talk, what feeling, you know, came over you about what he was saying in his message?

It was very interesting. It was very calming

and it seemed like something that was worth trying.

He put it very well. He made it seem simple.

He made it seem very attractive.

And so, I think we were all just sold.

And I think his personality was a lot to do with Maharishi, you know.

And you know I think you've seen other people who were maybe a little more serious which wasn't a bad thing.

But he put humor. He had a very infectious sense of humour.

So I think that was very attractive to us. It was a great message.

It was something I think we felt we needed but put over in this way was very attractive.

Did Maharishi personally teach you?

Yes so, what happened then we went to Bangor in Wales

and we attended a seminar there.

And as you know there were always lots of flowers around Maharishi

so it was always a very... nature was very involved. You got the feeling.

You know, he often used to carry the flowers.

So it was this feeling of connection with nature that was very grounding.

And then eventually we went out to Rishikesh with him which was more sustained.

How long had you been meditating when you went to Rishikesh?

I'm not sure the exact time because it was 40 years ago but I would say a month or so.

Roughly that.

And when you got to Rishikesh you went to the ashram

and what was the routine like, what was the experience like in Rishikesh?

It was great. It was very straightforward, very simple.

The whole place was very simple. There was nothing fancy about it.

You would just go for... wake up. You would then go for breakfast in the morning, a light breakfast.

You just socialize a bit with the other members and just get to know each other.

And then you would go back for your morning meditation, you go back to your room.

We had little chalets, kind of thing, each of us had little rooms which were very simple but adequate.

And you would just sit and you would meditate.

And, then was lunch and again you would socialize and chat and stuff.

And then you meditate in the afternoon.

Sometimes Maharishi would have a meeting every so often with you.

And you could talk to him about your experiences and he would, you know, just help, guide you.

And then in the evening there was a kind of question and answer session

which is slightly more formal, that was in a hall.

And we would all just being there, all the students and Maharishi would come on and talk.

And then he would take questions. You would just listen about people's experiences.

And that was kind of that was sort of thing that happened each day.

Did you write? How many songs did you write in Rishikesh do you think?

We wrote quite a few, between us.

We had some good inspiration. And you know in the times when we weren't meditating

we had our guitars with us, so we would go to quite a little bit of writing. It was good, inspirational.

It wasn't all about meditation.

But yeah, there was some very blissful moments.

I remember one in particular when I've been meditating for a little while and I got to a really good place.

And I remember the feeling was that I was a feather

I felt like I actually was a feather floating over a hot air pipe.

It was just a very nice feeling.

And I remember that vividly.

And I reported that to Maharishi and he giggled "yes this is good!"

It was a joy!

I don't know if you remember it but i showed you this dam on an another video i made before in Portugal

I rode it with the KTM EXC

The road to access to this dam was very hard and dirty

We haven't the best bike to go there

Well, Let's go and we will see

If we see the Lake it's perfect but ..

It is so big (the lake)

This make me crazy ! The lake is so big and we can't find it dude !

Nico: we're still far from it

It's our last day here in the south of Portugal

We go back to home to take a shower

and we're going to eat something on the coast

The rear of my tire is deflated since we went back to the Lake of Odelouca

i bursted

I'm understanding it at this moment, but i'm going to push it a bit in order to laugh at Nico

This is "Praia da Rocha"

This is one of the most famous beach here in Algarve

You should stop here if you come here one day

this is an awesome place

This was our last day here in the south of the Portugal

We are at the middle of our trip in terms of days

We have about 2800 kilometers to do before ending this trip

We still have a lot of road to do ...

But i feel this Nostalgia which is taking place into me

like if all this was finished and we had to go back to home ...

But in reality, not yet

this is because it's the first time i have the opportunity to share all i love here, in this place, with people, friends, that i really like, with bikes

All this happened so fast ...

and i still have a lot of things to show to them

It's like that we can't always do everything we want

Wewill go back here again

under a storm with my boy Cafeine crew and Balou1sta

Now we go back to home, to preparing our stuff, preparing our bikes

cleaning the house

and tomorrow we go back on the road

direction Spain this time

let's go to Andalousia

I really hope the rain that's falling right now is going to stop soon

and we will ride tomorow in good conditions !

It's a new day here in Portimao

Today,

we go to Spain

More precisely the south of Spain: Andalousia

And because we have luck, it's raining

It's always same the shit ...

But it's okay, these last days we had an awesome weather so it's okay !

After we closed the house

we go to the gas station to refuel the bikes

But my rear tyre is gutless again

i totally forgot this problem...

I have nothing to fix this, so 'im going to put the maximum air flow on my rear tyre

If it works, i'm okay with that, i will check the pressure during the day

If it doesn't works ... i will advise

yo guys we go back on the road or what ?

Weather is going to be better

We took the road in direction of Tavira

Nico was sick

So we stopped in a Pharmacy

We are wearing our rainwear

in order to fight with this shitty weather

blkmrkt: Guys if i fall down please tell me because with all this i'm not going to understand what's going on !

Nico: Double C vitamin mother fucker

blkmrkt: with that, last time, i made a wheelie on 5 kilometers

Nico: This is nothing do you want one? It helps to not being sick

Blkmrkt: Are you serious?

Imagine if in the next minutes sunshine is coming again

Nico: Weather is going to be better ...

Blkmrkt: We will stop again and we'll take off all this shit on us !

Blkmrkt: too bad the weather is bad .. it could be an awesome race !

We are riding under the rain since hours now !

The weather is still very bad and Nico's fall asleep on his bike

SO we stop these bullshit and we make a break on a gas station

New refuel of our bikes ..this is the second refuel on we didn't ride any curve since we started ...But the weather is better ...

i mean not under the rain

We maybe will have some chance and we are going to ride some awesome roads

Here we go again !

We arrived in Ronda in Andalousia

We're going to sleep here tonight

but we first need to find the place

It's okay we are on the right place

Today, it was a hard day..

kilometers and kilometers of straight lines we had and the bad weather ...

we're happy to arrive here !

Louis Tomlinson MOM's Final Wish Revealed :( - Duration: 1:14.

peace with his former One Direction bandmate, Zayn Malik.

It was that brotherly love.
