Two-hundred days from today, South Korea's alpine city of PyeongChang will welcome some

3-thousand athletes from nearly 100 nations... for the 2018 Winter Games.

President Moon Jae-in took part in a special ceremony today to boost the Olympic boom.

Moon Connyoung has our top story.

"It's the final countdown to the 2018 Winter Olympic Games.

In two-hundred days from now, it will be South Korea's resort town of PyeongChang in the

spotlight showing the world what it takes to host 3-thousand athletes for one of the

largest sporting events in the world.

The latest to join the team as an honorary ambassador, President Moon Jae-in."

Before a crowd of 3-hundred in PyeongChang, roughly 180 kilometers east of Seoul...

South Korean President Moon Jae-in was given another brand new title.

"How do you feel about having the president as an honorary ambassador for the Games?"

Honorary ambassador of the 2018 Winter Olympic Games... presented by Olympic champion, queen

of figure skating, Kim Yuna.

With a business card that couldn't get ANY bigger, the South Korean leader vowed all

out efforts to ensure a successful Olympic Games.

"I promise you that the central government will now join in efforts to ensure success

of the PyeongChang Winter Olympics as it will be the first large-scale international event

for this administration, as well."

South Korea has been promoting the PyeongChang Games as Cultural, Environmental, High-tech

and Olympics for Peace... but the president added another description to the list.

"A healing event.

Olympics that heals."

The healing spirit of the Olympic Games... for the Korean people who had to ride out

months of political turbulence during the country's scandalous presidential impeachment.

"I have no doubt that this Olympics will be an opportunity for our people, torn apart

by political uncertainty, to restore national pride.

, It will offer a chance for Koreans to heal

and rebuild hope in the country."

The first Winter Olympics to be held on South Korean soil will kick off a series of high-profile

sporting events in Asia... with Tokyo hosting the 2020 Summer Games and Beijing, the Winter

Olympics in 2022.

President Moon hopes sports will not only transcend politics but pave a path to peace

on the Korean peninsula and Northeast Asia.

"The South Korean president who advocates an alternating approach of pressure and dialogue

to North Korea... added that Seoul will keep the doors open for Pyongyang to join the Winter

Games until the very last minute.

His message, loud and clear: The ball is now in North Korea's court.

Trump Welcomes New High-tech Warship to Navy

President Donald Trump on Saturday presided over the commissioning of the U.S. Navys newest next-generation aircraft carrier -- a trip that offered a brief escape from the swirling political drama in Washington.

Trump appeared to revel in the pomp and pageantry of the ceremony on board the warship at the sprawling Norfolk naval base in Virginia, which included a 21-gun salute, and the hoisting of the Stars and Stripes on the ships mast.

American steel and American hands have constructed a 100,000-ton message to the world: American might is second to none, and were getting bigger and better and stronger every day of my administration, Trump said.

Wherever this vessel cuts through the horizon, our allies will rest easy and our enemies will shake with fear, because everyone will know that America is coming and America is coming strong.

The $12.9 billion USS Gerald R. Ford -- named after Americas 38th president -- is a hulking nuclear-powered giant that is the first of a new generation of aircraft carriers.

The colossal warship was plagued by cost overruns and, in the past, Trump criticized the budget allocated for the super-ship.

The short 45-minute flight to Norfolk allowed Trump what was sure to be a welcome respite from the political upheaval of recent days -- from a shake-up of his communications team to the ongoing Russia scandal.

Before heading south from Washington, Trump fired a salvo of nearly a dozen tweets, touching on the issues and people that gave him headaches this week -- the special prosecutor looking into his teams ties with Moscow, his attorney general, failed efforts to pass health care reform and the media.

And he had another go at his onetime election rival Hillary Clinton, asking why investigators were looking into his son Don Jr. s meeting with a Russian attorney, and not reopening a probe into the Democrats email woes. - Next-generation supercarrier -.

None of that, however, factored into Trumps visit to Norfolk to celebrate Americas military might.

This ship is the deterrent that keeps us from having to fight in the first place, but this ship also assures that if a fight does come, it will always end the same way -- we will win, win, win, Trump said.

The commander-in-chief allowed himself a few comments of a political nature, calling on Congress to back his request for a defense budget hike.

We do not want cost overruns. We want the best equipment, but we want it built ahead of schedule and we want it built under budget, Trump said.

Fords daughter, Susan Ford Bales, formally welcomed the ship to the Navys fleet with the words: Man our ship and bring her to life!.

The USS Gerald Ford lends its name to a new class of ship, designed to replace Nimitz-class carriers as they reach the end of their 50-year service life. Another Ford-class ship, the John F. Kennedy, is under construction.

Naval officials want the fleet to have 12 supercarriers by 2031, and Trump has said he wants to expand the entire naval fleet.

The Fords commissioning brings the fleets carrier strength to 11. No other nations aircraft carrier capabilities come close -- Russia has only one.

Sometimes called flat tops, Americas supercarriers are the ultimate symbol of its military power across the world, and are used to support U. S operations in the Middle East and elsewhere.

The Ford -- sometimes called a floating city -- is 1,092 feet long, has a crew of about 4,460 sailors and is powered by two nuclear reactors that power four propeller shafts.

The Ford class represents a true leap-ahead ship that will be the centerpiece of U.S. naval power for the majority of the 21st century, the Navy said.

Because the Gerald Ford is the first of a new warship class, it is still undergoing testing. The Navy expects the ship to be fully operational in 2020, with the first deployment anticipated for 2022.

President Ford was the successor to Richard Nixon, who resigned in 1974 after the fallout from the Watergate scandal.

Push VR to new limits with EVE: Valkyrie's Ultra Settings - Duration: 4:27.

Hey, everyone! Chris Turner here for GeForce, and I want to share a little bit

about what's new here at NVIDIA with VR gaming.

So, we've been working hard with CCP, the developer behind EVE: Valkyrie,

an amazing, immersive game built specifically for VR.

This fighter pilot simulator pits you against other players

in dogfights among the stars. Look up, look down, all around to find the enemy,

lock on, fire missiles, and close in for the kill with your Gatling guns and cannons.

It's an exciting and fun game, and with a new update that adds "Ultra Graphics,"

the experience becomes even more immersive when paired with

GeForce GTX 1070, 1080, and 1080 Ti systems.

Along with a number of new effects added by CCP,

we've provided four, developed by NVIDIA, using the latest technologies and techniques available.

Of these new effects, NVIDIA's volumetric lighting is by far

the most immediately visible difference, adding shafts of bright light,

often called "god rays," throughout EVE: Valkyrie's environment.

It increases the perception of the vast depths of space, and helps you better understand distances

to other players and objects within the game space.

Let me pause the action for a moment to show you

how volumetric lighting transforms the look of a scene.

On the left, you can see EVE: Valkyrie with its old "max" settings.

On the right, the new "ultra" settings.

Look at those new light renderings! Beautiful.

Anti-aliasing helps smooth out edges of objects.

In real life, a diagonal line doesn't look harsh and jagged.

Realism in a game environment means mimicking what the human eye sees much better,

especially in VR, where the display in your headset is just an inch from your retinas.

Your brain picks up every inconsistency, even when you're not directly looking at it.

Before EVE: Valkyrie's "ultra" graphics update, the game used a fast post-process technique

that added blur to the scene to reduce the jagged edges,

but it also reduced the clarity of some game detail.

Now, EVE: Valkyrie players can use NVIDIA's superior anti-aliasing technique

called Multi-Sample G-Buffer Anti-Aliasing, or MSGAA for short.

We love making new tech... and new acronyms!

Our tech works very similarly, but applies more demanding anti-aliasing

to a scene that does a better job.

Now, take a look here. You can see how the lines in the cockpit

appear smoother, more realistic, and at the same time,

the user interface is clearer. Distant detail is better defined,

they'll shimmer less, and some new lighting effects will look even nicer.

To enable MSGAA, set EVE: Valkyrie's resolution to 175 percent.

In the settings menu, under graphics, advanced settings, resolution, select MSGAA.

In addition, the game's new "ultra" mode adds further enhancements.

Cockpit lighting has been improved, and specular lighting - which are the shiny spots on

reflective surfaces - has been added. Shaders and reflections are more realistic,

lighting and shadowing in environments looks nicer than ever before,

and ship projectiles now have dynamic lighting illuminating their path

as you take down an enemy ship, as well as bathing your cockpit in realistic light

as they whiz dangerously close to your canopy.

One of the most important features of VR gaming is ensuring a consistent, smooth frame rate of

90 frames per second or better. Anything less, especially on a dynamic game like EVE: Valkyrie,

and you may start feeling the effects. 90 frames per second demands a lot from

your graphics card, and by adding the new effects of "ultra" mode, it significantly ups the pressure.

So for that, NVIDIA's VRWorks feature, Lens Matched Shading,

has been added to EVE: Valkyrie for GeForce GTX 10-series gamers.

Lens Matched Shading is a unique, innovative rendering technique that allows

game developers to significantly improve performance by rendering to the

unique shape of the headset lenses.

By doing that, you get up to 30 percent faster performance in EVE: Valkyrie,

giving you the headroom to enable extra ultra effects,

or simply to enjoy faster, smoother frame rates if your system was previously struggling with the game.

And if you are using a previous-gen GeForce GTX 980 or 980 Ti graphics card,

NVIDIA's Multi-Res Shading has been added.

This is another VRWorks feature, functionally similar to Lens Matched Shading,

giving you a way to increase your performance and enable high quality settings on those

previous generation graphics cards.

With this new NVIDIA VR technology,

you get better image quality and performance with GeForce GTX graphics cards,

and the other features of "ultra" mode.

The update is now available for both Oculus Rift and

HTC Vive versions of the game, but you'll first need to download our newest

Game Ready Driver through GeForce Experience or on GeForce.com.

recall liner from MYFIT and what's different with the recall liner from

MYFIT, imagine there's a liner that when you put it in without doing anything

just with the temperature of your body will adjust your foot then once you take

it out it goes back to what it was before basically it's I think it has

memory foam I think that's the name of it so basically you put it in

temperature of your body will make these adapt to your foot, but if you have any

pressure point on your skates and you need any major changes you can put these

in the oven for 5 minutes 100 degrees and then keep that form at this make

sense I don't know if this makes sense I don't know if I can explain these but

it's something like every time you put it in it adapts to your foot if you need

major changes you put these in the oven for 5 minutes 100 degrees and molded

with your hands do whatever you need any pressure point that you have on your

skates these should work what's different between the MYFIT recall

liners and the older models this liner looks a lot to the crown liner I made a

few reviews about the crown liner I'm going to put it up here main difference

whoops with the crown liner for you to have laces you would need to use that

cuff kind of like that insert that you can put in the back that would make the

liner a lot bigger a lot better in the back and then that thing will give you

the laces that you would need on liner this one as the lacing system in the

liner itself this one doesn't have the same velcro system that the crown liner

add for you to put it the shock absorber but a little bit of silicone and this

silicone is supposed to keep the liner stuck in the back also on the sides in

the hill and here there's a little bit of

silicone and these silicone here here and here is supposed to keep the heel of

the liner back in the back of the skate and this is really really important

because when you want to jump you don't want the liner to do this inside the

schedule please part to be in the skate of course it depends on the skate and

these will work even better if you have like a 45 degree strap or if you have

something old in your suit in the right position basically the liner will stay

there now you also want your food to stay there that's where the lacing

system will also help you that's cool then the front of the liner it's it's

lean and it's a dual feed liner if you look around here all these two area it's

made of like a neoprene like ER I don't know the name of these but it's

expandable basically all these recall liners are dual feet so for me I'm a

size 43 but if I'm a fat if I would be a size 44 I could use the same also in the

front of the line I wear this thing where it says the name of the liner that

thing I don't know the name of this see this if the buckle goes through here the

tongue will stain the in the same position so there won't be any spinning

then with the lacing works quite cool the material in the middle of the liner

slides and these will make I don't know I don't know why they made this material

protect the liner these and these is supposed to protect the liner from the

cuff bolt that's also cool in my opinion top of the liner is also only a little

bit of stitching here and the stitching is all flat so these means that there

won't be pieces of the ladder sticking in your foot because it's flat

basically it's super slim in front and like the front of a Fat Boy the new Fat

Boy liners which are dual fit that's cool like slim liner slim looking liner

it doesn't have any lacing or tongue moving until middle of the liner then

from off of the liner to the back that's when the tongue is lacing that's it I

think the main thing about this liner is really the foams that is made with it

will adapt your food it's a technology that used to be used by Solomon Solomon

as that in the liners and I know that everyone used to love the soluble liners

so the technology used in these is the same it has a little bit of a v cut like

not too deep just a little v cut in the back it's a lycra material here which is

a little bit different of the inner material more like it's a little more

elastic it has these liner older for you to all your escapes ah important the

inner sole of these liners it's super sleek if you need shock absorbers you

might need to use it underneath the liner I wouldn't put it inside I would

put it outside the liner in between the liner and the shell boot I would put it

here not inside and that's it I try to show you a little bit of what these

liner is I think this man is not out yet I am Not sure I know that some skates

already come with this liner like the powerslide v trinity skate comes with

this liner I know that my feet will F DS liner in the aftermarket should be out

any time if it's not out yet so look for my feet

recall liner in my opinion is one of the best planners in the market right now

it's I like to just a little bit of read most of it is black I don't think this

one will be in all the other colors like the Fat Boy at least for now but I do

know that the ones that come on them on the powerslide V Trinity escapes come at

least in white and in hold black I do not know what colors they will come out

in the aftermarket but to go to school I like this one that's it I hope you

HILARY Duff has had hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of jewellery stolen from her house after she posted pictures of online proving she was out of the country.

The burglary on Wednesday night happened while Hilary was away with her family in Canada, and had posted pics and videos from there to her Instagram. Hilary Duff has had hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of jewellery nicked.

TMZ reports that no alarm went off when the robbers entered her empty house in Beverly Hills during the night. Robbers broke through an outer door and rooted through the former Lizzie MacGuire stars stuff before striking lucky.

Police cannot confirm the extent of the robbery as yet because Hilary is currently still in Canada. The 29-year-old is not the first celebrity to be burgled in recent months.

Numerous rich stars like Nicki Minaj, Scott Disick and Ronda Rousey having their homes broken into. And as with Hilarys robbery, Kim Kardashians Paris attack last year was linked to her social media activity.
