Today is a mix between a good and a bad day.

It's a good day because we're going to Bali

but a bad day because we have to clean up all of the crap we laid everywhere.

We have to leave in an hour and a half,

and it should take us about 3 to get everything done.

but there's a patio door over there and MJ just walked into it.

She thought it was open, she wanted to go outside,

but she walked straight into it.

Because we're leaving. It's over.

But it's OK. There might be something better somewhere else.

We're in the last seats of the airplane.

You know what they say right? The further back you are in a vehicle,

the more chances you have of being sick.

Well we're going to Bangkok then Bali?

Ok. The length of the trip?

It's long. Not sure the exact amount of hours...

7-8 hours. I checked. It's 7-8 hours.

I know that this flight is 1 hour, then we have a 1h45 layover in Bangkok

and then we have a long flight... - 5 hours.

So we should arrive in Bali at 1am if everything goes well.

Yes, it's all going to go well.

So far we're the only ones back here.

I hope no one is sitting there so that I can get the seat by the window.

Why would you be the one who gets the seat beside the window and not me?

Because I won at rock, paper, scissors.

We didn't even play yet... - In my head we did.

Hello beautiful people!

Welcome to Bali!

Yea !

For those of you who might not know where Bali is, it's a small island in Indonesia.

Indonesia is the country.

And when I say island, I mean one of 18 000.

Lots of islands here! I think Bali is the most touristy one.

Is it? - Yes I think so.

Yea. - There's a lot of motorbikes.

I've noticed 2 things so far:

One, there's no sidewalk.

It's not made for walking. You need a scooter to get around.

Right now, we're walking.

Number two, there are lots of rice fields where we are.

Everywhere.

It's really pretty.

We're staying in Canggu. We're going to be staying here for 4 weeks.

We're staying in a villa, it's super cute, super...

You know what, we'll show you.

So we're staying in a villa

which is like a mix between a hotel and an apartment.

It's very typical when it comes to lodging in Bali.

There's a shared kitchen,

a total of 6 rooms (so it's very quiet)

and there's also a pool because it's very, very hot in Bali.

I think that's one of the biggest advantages than guys have when it comes to swimming.

No need to worry about mascara dripping all over your face.

I'm sure it's pretty bad because you didn't say anything when I asked you.

Canggu.

Canggu is a small hipster town...right?

What? I wasn't listening. I had water in my ears.

There's not a whole lot to do aside from hanging out, going to the beach and surfing.

Yes, but there's not a 1 000 000 things to do.

But according to the many blogs we read,

there's one thing that keeps coming back (aside from surfing)...

The shortcut.

Yep, It's to go see the shortcut.

The shortcut is a small, narrow street,

that is very popular because it's the easy way to go from one beach to another.

It's also a street that allows you to see what Bali used to look like back in the day

when they had rice fields everywhere.

So it's pretty authentic.

And according to Google Maps,

we're staying beside it.

Well, not just according to Google Maps...We can see it from here.

Yes, that's true. we can see it.

So were going to go closer

and check it out ourselves.

Well there's not really a road. I mean, there's not enough room for motorbikes, cars, and tourists

that's for sure!

It's very narrow. I even read that

certain tourists who are not good motorbike drivers

fall right into the rice fields.

Crazy tourist in Bali in the morning!

We're still going to rent a motorbike and try to drive on this road

from one side to the other.

Chinese military aircraft enters S. Korea's air defense zone - Duration: 0:48.

A Chinese military aircraft flew into Korea's air defense identification zone for over four

hours today.

According to Seoul's Joint Chiefs of Staff,... the plane entered the KADIZ at 9:34 AM local

time,... and later approached about 30 nautical miles, or about 56 kilometers, northwest of

Ulleung-do Island in the East Sea -- before flying out of the zone at 2:01 PM.

Korea dispatched fighter jets to monitor the activity,... and called on China via the two

countries' hotline... to stop acts that raise tensions and could trigger accidental conflicts.

The flight route was "unusual" in that China's warplanes had previously flown in the KADIZ

only south of the peninsula.

According to the JCS, Beijing claimed it was part of a routine exercise.

The last such incident occurred in late January.

National Assembly committee passes bill on reducing S. Korea's working hours - Duration: 2:43.

Finally, after nearly half a decade of discussions on the matter, a parliamentary committee passed

a bill on reducing working hours.

Kim Mok-yeon zooms in on the move that's designed to improve the nation's office environment.

South Korea has some of the longest working hours in the world.

According to OECD data, laborers in Korea worked 2,069 hours on average in 2016, way

above the OECD average of 1,763 hours.

To tackle this problem, there has been heated debate over the past 5 years on revising the

bill on working hours.

And finally,.. the National Assembly has made a big step forward.

A parliament committee on Tuesday passed a bill to shorten working hours in South Korea.

The National Assembly's Environment and Labor Committee endorsed the bill, which calls for

reducing the country's maximum statutory working hours to 52 hours a week from the current

68.

Under the current law, the maximum working hours in Korea were 68 hours per week, as

the law excluded Saturdays and Sundays as part of the 40 hour 'working days', making

it possible to work an additional 16 hours during the weekend on top of any extended

working hours.

The revised working hours will now include the weekends in the weekly 40 hour working

day period, reducing the maximum hours to 52.

The bill will also shorten the working hours for under-18s from 40 hours a week to 35 hours,

and cut the number of business types exempt from the working hour limits from the current

26 to five.

The bill will now be passed to the judiciary committee for deliberation, and if passed

will be put for a vote at the National Assembly's plenary session, possibly as early as Wednesday.

However, a labor law expert says there have been continued objections from many industries

amid worries that the revision could harm productivity.

"The problem is that workers are worrying that the new bill could lower their salary

due to reduced working hours, while business owners are worrying that they might have to

pay additional personnel expenses for extra hours outside of the bill's 40 working hour

limit."

The expert said that it is important to keep in mind the purpose of this bill, which is

to protect the health and the quality of life of laborers.

He added that both sides should be able to comply with the changes by bearing in mind

the original motive.

To minimize the impact of the possible changes, the committee says the new law will be enforced

gradually over the next 3 years.

It will be applied to firms with 300 workers or more from this July, while firms with 50

to 299 workers will adapt to the system in 2020, and those with five to 49 workers will

follow it from 2021.

Teaching In Kuwait vs Teaching In Dubai - Duration: 5:31.

I've taught all over the world

and... I'd like to take this opportunity to compare my experience

in Kuwait versus Dubai

All different kinds of things we could compare here

we could compare the students, we could compare the schools, the countries, those 3 things

now, my experiences in Kuwait and Dubai were two totally different experiences

and to give you an idea...

my school in Kuwait was an international school

it was a very very good... very good school, very well run

it was being run very well and it was ran very well

my school conversely in Dubai was not an international school

and it was different

okay so it's day one, it's about 7:30 in the morning

I've arrived at my new school

uhh... I've been told nothing so I'm just sat in the staff room

waiting to be told where to go, what to do

not sure what's going to happen, not sure what classes I'm teaching, what my timetable is

don't know what grade I've got...

my experience in Kuwait was good enough to keep me there for only one year

but, you know, I did a year and I really enjoyed it

the country... I loved Kuwait

it was first glimpse into real life in the real Middle East

and I really embraced it

and as most of you might know, if you've seen these two videos, I enjoyed my time there

teaching in Dubai was a different experience

Dubai as a country is more comfortable to live in

there are buses, there are trains,

there are resources, there are services

the hospitals are fantastic

although I never went to a hospital in Kuwait so maybe they're fantastic in Kuwait too

the students... there's no difference between the students, I taught a lot more nationalities

of students in Kuwait

given the fact that it was an international school

and in Dubai

I just taught all UAE students

so it was a different experience

now, if you're working in Kuwait or living in Kuwait and you're thinking of moving to Dubai

then you will have a pleasant surprise

if you're from a a big city in, I don't know, the U.K. or the U.S. or something then...

Dubai will feel a lot more comfortable to you, you'll feel a lot more at home there

this ladies and gentlemen is Dubai

Kuwait is a lot more Middle Eastern in that you don't get those same comforts

sometimes you step out of the door and you get dust like this

it's about 38°C at the moment

yes there are tons of restaurants and there are things to do in Kuwait

but in Dubai

like I say, you can walk out, you can easily get a bus, you can get a taxi

malls everywhere

but the main difference about Dubai is that

there are just so many expats there

such a huge expat community, you wouldn't believe it

that you feel very, very at home very quickly

in Kuwait, two thirds of the country are expats,

so again it's large

but in the UAE as a whole, I understand it's about 9/10

so 90% of the residents of the UAE aren't actually citizens

my experience of teaching in Kuwait was a positive one

it's a stunning country and there are things to see and do

and I found the whole thing... the whole experience, very very eye opening

and just interesting to see how a different country lives and how they function

and my experience in Dubai was less eye opening, less fascinating

because it was more of what I already knew

my advice would be

go to Kuwait

and then go to Dubai, go to them both

go and see the whole Middle East, live in the Middle East

and see it for yourself

Both Kuwait and Dubai are both very family friendly

if you have a family and you want to raise kids there... do it

you'll never go to a safer

safer country, one with a stronger society

and all the facilities and the infrastructure in place to give your family what they need

honestly

my experience of Kuwait was good, my experience of Dubai was good

there's lots to do in Kuwait but there's even more to do in Dubai

go to them both, see them both

and then share what you think about these countries down below

The amazing benefits of kefir and how to make it yourself - Duration: 3:20.

- Hi guys, I thought I'd show you how incredibly

simple it is for you to make your own homemade kefir.

So this is my latest batch of kefir,

which is a fermented milk drink.

It's been drunk for centuries in places

like Russia and Turkey, and it's got a nice tangy,

slightly sour taste that I really like,

so I will just have this as a drink.

It's also incredibly good for you.

Just to give you a few of its very many health benefits,

it's an incredibly good source of probiotics,

much more so than yoghurt, for example.

There's about 30 strains of bacteria in here,

so exceptionally good for your gut health.

It can help with lots of different digestive issues.

It's also really good at boosting your immune system

and protecting your bone health,

so protecting you against osteoporosis,

not only because of its calcium content

but also because it contains vitamin K2,

which helps our body to actually assimilate

that calcium into our bones.

It's super simple to make.

The easiest way that I have found to make it

which is pretty fool proof, is to use these starter grains

from The Kefir Company which you can buy online.

And you get a little sachet of starter grains like this

which you just add to a litre of milk, mix it up,

you leave it for 48 hours and at the end of that,

you have kefir, like this.

Now I use cow's milk, I use organic,

full fat cow's milk to make my kefir,

but you can use all different types of milk.

You can use plant milk, you can even use water.

There's loads of different ways that you can enjoy this.

Just to show you what it looks like at this stage.

I'm using a wooden spoon because metal can sometimes react

with kefir, so I'm using a wooden spoon.

It's got a sort of set, curdled consistency.

It doesn't look very appetising, I have to admit.

But once it's all mixed up, it goes really smooth and nice.

But this is exactly what it should look like.

It looks like something that's gone very wrong.

All I'm gonna do is get a clean jar

and put three tablespoons of the existing kefir

into this new jar,

and then I've got some of my full fat organic milk,

which I'm going to add.

And then all you do is give that a mix.

I'm gonna put the top on and that will just sit

on my kitchen top and that will be ready in 24 hours.

And then you can then make another batch from that

and keep it going.

That's how easy it is to make,

it literally just took a few seconds

and it's really delicious and has such an amazing array

of health benefits that you might wanna give it a go,

We develop a solution of small-scale biogas production (with methanation)

Today your organic waste like the bananas skins, are still thrown away with the rest of the garbage

And will be incinerated

This means that we actually burn 80% of water -doesn't make any sense!

the process of methanation enables to valorize this material

On the one hand, it transforms it in organic material that can be brought back to earth in agriculture usage

On the other hand, it becomes energy:

clean & silent gas (for buses for example)

or directly methane that can be injected in the natural gas network

and be used like gas for household

The solution is small scale, standard, modular and prefabricated

This enables us to have a very fast deployment capacity

The Yamaha YZF-R1M has been conceived in 2015 and it has received its 1st important update with this 2018 Model Year

The Crossplane 4 cylinder engine is still the same, with Smart EC Ohlins electronic suspensions which work with a 6-axes inertial platform

This bike is the only one using a Japanese braking system and not a Brembo one

We have put it on the test bed, with a power of 199.7 HP and a weight of 186 Kg for a track use. The price? 24,190 euro

This Yamaha has been the 1st one to have a TFT cockpit that can be linked through an app, to a smartphone or to a tablet, allowing to set up the electronics, Traction control, anti wheeling system, slide control and suspensions from it
