what described a bite to eat here I'm here in North Palm Springs and I got

something interesting to share with you guys here got to climb up some rocks cuz

there's this fence right here but check out this ginormous piece of art a

Volkswagen beetle spider really sure what business this is

but we're gonna start the day off quirky. Yes we are. The warmth you know day after

day here in February in the 90s is getting to me

emotionally I'm just I'm not ready I need it to be a little cold before

summer hits because I got huge epic big plans for this spring and summer and

thirdly I need to move away from some of the other youtubers don't get me wrong I

love hanging out with my friends my other fellow travelers but I can't get

in this groove where we're all filming the same things and leapfrogging each

other in the same desert I've got to do something different so this is my way of

saying that you're going to notice a different route than you probably

expected this time of year for me but it's all planned right now it's in my

mind kind of as a generic plan so we'll make it through this guys together just

bear with me and enjoy the ride he's purring can hear alright I'm here in

Cabazon California and you know the new Jurassic world movie is coming out -

somewhere with Chris Pratt and I have found a massive dinosaur dinosaur park

no he had to move the RV because I was parked in a red icon fire lane but they

don't they don't want you parking - the dinosaurs so why would big paws you have

Dino man mm-hmm so apparently there's a t-rex Museum and

stuff you can go in and I really want to go and I want to see the outside because

I've been to a few Dino related parks around the country this is my third that

I know of but second in California I'll link a card on topic you're watching on

your laptop of the prehistoric guard gardens along the coast well you know

what I'm starting to feel better already today is gonna be a good day we're

officially leaving the i-10 area now we're gonna go up up and away well north

and possibly up in elevation that's the other thing it's gonna take

me a little while guys cuz I got if I only travel like 3040 miles a day it

gonna take me a while to get to cooler temperatures so but we'll see see what

we can do Jax man I'll wait till you're done eating and then we'll hit the road

okay I'll be patient okay all right very neat little stop here that I got to take

specific I'm going to an old fake western town where they filmed western

movies of the 40s and 50s that's my destination we shall see we

are flat up going straight uphill Wow I'm doing about 40 miles an hour

that's cool I haven't climbed hills like this all

it's gonna start cooling down

on the road again just can't wait to get all rolled again still climb it guys

almost there hopefully English this is fun this is so different than everything

I've been doing for the past couple weeks

look at all the Joshua tree all of a sudden Joshua trees wild now this sign

says pioneer town 1936 literally though look at all these Joshua trees I've

already seen more just off this road that I did in the entire entire National

Park but this nice sign right here with an arrow saying parking excellent Thanks

appreciate that I wonder if right in front of me no camping for mine I'm

gonna park right next to this Joshua Tree though Wow okay this is willing to

share this with you or and we're now at 4,000 feet in elevation here in this

town and the temperature is 69 degrees gonna hit 71 here in yuka Valley

California as opposed to currently right now 89 degrees in Palm Springs where we

were just at that's like almost a 20 degree swing huh thank goodness Jax do

you want to go s'more with me let's go so me and my best friend mr. Jack

Smith's Maximus I'm gonna go explore want to go see Jax all right here we go

any movie at any time they just make little changes then the tear down sets

that we're about I'll back down a thousand feet lower right now it's back

to 75 but there's a Walmart up here that allows overnight parking and it's gonna

work great for a spot to tilt the panel's edit some video and plan where

we might be going from here Jackson I so that was nice that pets are welcome

there and pretty neat pretty cool all right

Reprogramming Bladder Cancer - DeGraff - Penn State Cancer Institute - Duration: 2:00.

[Dr. DeGraff] I think patients need to know that there are people thinking about the disease

they have 24 hours a day. So we're really working in a non-stop manner to really

identify how we can help these patients and I think in my experience

with patients that gives them a little bit of peace of mind to know that there

are people actively working on this all the time. We know from our studies in

other studies that there are different types of bladder cancer. And different

types of bladder cancer respond differently to different therapeutic

approaches. Now the type of bladder cancer that we're studying is one of the

most aggressive types. It's the basal squamous type of bladder cancer.

And that's the type of bladder cancer that we feel that we have specifically

identified some transcriptional regulators that are driving this type of

bladder cancer. The goal really at the end of this project is to see that if we

manipulate the expression or target the expression of these transcription

factors, can we convert one subtype of bladder cancer into another subtype of

bladder cancer that is more responsive to treatment? So if we identify the

transcription factors that are important from making that bladder cancer respond

better to chemotherapy, we might be able to activate them and sensitize a patient

who is not normally sensitive to chemotherapy. So I think the thing that

is really innovative about this project and I think the thing that is really

innovative about the work that we're doing in this lab is this concept that

we want to reprogram these tumors.

That's what it's called when you turn one

tissue type into another. It's a reprogramming event. And we're trying to

reprogram bladder cancer.

January saw the number of new jobs created in Korea exceed government targets.

On the flipside, layoffs also increased, particularly in the food and lodging sectors.

Kim Ji-yeon breaks down the digits for us.

For the first time in five months, the number of people unemployed in Korea surpassed one-million,...

amid rising concerns over the increase in the country's minimum wage this year.

Statistics Korea says the country added 334-thousand new jobs last month compared to the previous

year,... bringing the total number of people in work to more than 26-point-2-million.

The number of new jobs increased at the government's target rate of 300-thousand new jobs created

per month,... however layoffs increased by 31-thousand on-year in the food and lodging

sectors,... affected by the minimum wage increase to seven U.S. dollars an hour, up 16-point-4-percent

from last year.

The ministry says the mild on-year pick-up came on the back of increased employment in

the semiconductor, construction, and health and

social welfare services sectors.

But, the number of people employed in the wholesale and retail sales dropped.

"Job creation in the private sector shows no signs of picking up anytime soon.

Also, domestic consumption still remains sluggish except for the construction sector, which

is currently benefiting from the country's low interest rate."

An official from the statistics agency attributed the main reasons for the gloomy figures, particularly

among young people, to an increased number of people applying for public sector jobs,...

and a rapidly decreasing population due to low birthrates.

The youth jobless rate in January edged up to eight-point-seven-percent.
