CS:GO - How to REALLY Fake Throw Nades! - Duration: 3:24.

There is a way to fake throw a nade so it actually becomes useful.

I'm going to be completely honest with you guys and say that I didn't know this worked

until me and Chaimbo tested it out.

Hey guys, salut mes amis och hallΓ₯ gubbar, Maxim here!

So I thought it would be worth making a video about this since there's probably a lot of

people like me who had no idea this worked, but more importantly have their facts wrong.

So you know how, when you throw a nade and pull the pin, that's when the other players

can hear you, right?

No, this is wrong.

Pulling the pin can not be heard by other players.

Some people would counter this and say "Maximuh, it's when you right-click"

which isn't true either.

According to when me and Chaimbo tested it anyway.

Oh speaking of Chaimbo, it all started with him asking about it in the first place, how

can you fake a nade throw if you can't hear the pin?

So there's a match highlight of tabseN from BIG who actually performs this fake throw

that I'm talking about against Mir from Vega.

It's a beautiful play from tabseN, but this made me wonder if Mir actually heard the nade

or if it was just timing that he looked away.

If you look closely at his reaction he's definitely looking away from what he might believe is a flash.

Anyway, if you look at the nade tabseN is using it's an incendiary.

Does that mean that you're only able to fake with incendiaries?

The answer is no and fortunately I realized quickly how he did it afterwards.

This was something I never knew was possible up until now, so I'm sorry if I'm late on this.

But basically, if you throw a nade and switch to another weapon so the nade doesn't actually

get used, it will still make a throwing sound which other players will be able to hear.

Therefor you can catch someone off-guard and the nade will still be usable.

It takes some practice to do it, but now I can easily do it 9 out of 10 times.

Also, this might be just me, I like to right-click when doing this it's easier for some reason,

might be easier for you as well.

So I can see how this could be used very effectively in some scenarios.

Just like the one with tabseN.

If you're holding a close angle, or if you need information, for example if you're close

A palace, you can do the fake, peek and maybe catch someone off-guard.

You don't even need to commit you can just use it to jiggle-peek and get info.

Or what about those moments when you're having an AWP duel and you wanna bait a shot from

the enemy?

Or you could just use it make noise, but the point is, there are clearly some practical

uses for it.

BTW the map we're playing is called wallhack_mirage, it's a custom version of the map made by 3kliksphilip,

and we used it to easily re-create the scene.

So I hope you learned something new from this video, and honestly, did you know about this?

If you have any highlights from doing this make sure you tweet them to me and I'll be

sure to check them out.

Thank you Chaimbo for giving me the idea to make this video.

Links will be below to support them both.

I'll see you guys in the next one, and go bananas!

Stealing Fire - The Promethean Revolution and the Flowering of Human Consciousness - Duration: 22:29.

The Promethean revolution in the flowering of human consciousness on the enlightened society podcast

We find ourselves in a world of potential abundance

But even this can't fill the deep hole that we often feel

individually and collectively

The dream from the old world has come to an end and we are desperate for a paradigm shift

The extremes all around us exemplify the links that will resort to in order to feel whole

We need a revolution a different kind of revolution and we need it now

The Promethean revolution is the flowering of human consciousness?

It's the only real revolution all others were prologue

This revolution has endured inside us

It's an unfolding process that has been occurring for years decades centuries

and millennia

it's as old as life itself an

intrinsic aspect of our DNA from the beginning

That's crashed through endless barriers, and is the driving force of our evolution

This revolution goes to the heart of what it means to exist to be alive and to be conscious

it's embedded in the energetic fabric of the cosmos a

Universe whose only purpose is to wake up to itself

To realize what it is

to self actualize

You are that universe just like everything else

we are an ever evolving process on a trajectory of Awakening and

When we arrive we'll begin again and know the place for the first time

It's not just a dream. It's real and it's coming into being before our eyes

This revolution is not based on an ideological or materialist foundation like before

But it's a profound and lasting experience. That's centered in our own body

It's a holistic understanding of our very being right now

Prometheus stole fire from the gods and gave it to humanity forever lighting the path out of the dark night of our caves

The champion of mankind initiated at the Promethean revolution for the Greeks and it's finding new life today

Exploring the ocean of consciousness has finally reached a critical mass

We are now positioned to transform our individual and global consciousness from a survival mentality to one of thriving

Ecstasy's is the term given to an array of states of consciousness

by Steven Kotler and Jamie wheel in their book stealing Fire House Silicon Valley the Navy SEALs and

Maverick scientists are revolutionizing the way we live and work

They begin with a look back at the aleutian and mysteries which were a nine-day event in ancient Athens

They used numerous techniques to dissolve standard frames of reference in order to explore consciousness

discover reality and evoke profound meaning

It included everything from sensory deprivation to sensory overload

Anything that will lead to catharsis and rebirth

It was a lifetime event in right of passage for people across the Mediterranean for more than 2,000 years

The event occurred in a confined space on the ground among peers using music dance

psychedelics

storytelling and physical exertion among other techniques

It ended around the time of the Roman conquest and subsequent conversion to Christianity

Thus the techniques went underground or were appropriated and distorted for another 2,000 years?

Only to be rekindled by events like Burning Man in the 21st century

One of a few rites of passage that have emerged within our overly controlled society

Exes is the modern form of stepping beyond oneself with the author's call non-ordinary states

Exploring the spectrum of consciousness allows us to experience a richer and more expansive reality that we do through our narrow lens of everyday reality

The forms range from dramatic to barely perceptible

from short lived to lasting

They include the contemplative mystical psychedelic and flow States

Together they can result in profound realizations

Enhanced personal performance and life transformations despite the different techniques and applications used

These experiences can also be instrumental in helping us to solve our many global challenges

The content of the experience varies, but the author's discovered that selflessness

timelessness

effortlessness and richness

Otherwise known as stir are the common elements among each of the disparate traditions that they looked at

These states breathe new life into our minds and bodies and help us to feel live and invigorated again

Such States have been experienced through traditional methods found in athletics the arts

religion spirituality and elsewhere, but they often remained isolated there and bound within dogma and

traditional practitioners have rarely realized their shared experiences with other disciplines

But with modern science as our guide and neuro chemistry as our lens

We can unite these traditions under one umbrella and realize the broader implications

Non-ordinary states have many applications because collectively we are desperate to get out of our heads

Our ordinary lives are often mundane and unfeeling

This is an important point because existence

Life in human consciousness are all extremely profound

but our collective minds turn these miracles into another banality and

We must depart this dark chasm in order to move beyond simple survival

Humanity yearns for stassi's and we lack satisfactory channels for alleviating that primordial thirst

This deficit presents an opportunity

With the author's call the four trillion dollar altered state's economy

because that's what we're collectively spending our money on trying to get out of our heads and

We're having little meaningful success despite our enormous craving

It matters because

Individually and collectively. We are being pushed too far in the wrong direction and

We need relief

We are yearning for a change that is meaningful and lasting

Let's take a look at what ster looks like to get a deeper sense of its significance

Selflessness is the sense of peace we feel when we get out of our heads

Where we can see the larger perspective that leads to a sense of unity

Timelessness is stepping outside of the need to constantly do and achieve. What society tells us as imperative

Keeping us in a constant state of doing in rarely being

We can only enter the present by going beyond time

the place outside of our routine schedules

Effortlessness is the wonderful feeling of doing something that you love with ease where otherwise it would be unbearably difficult

Richness is the embodiment of feeling alive and present where life is vivid and significant

together they alter our brain chemistry in our brain frequencies from a slow narrow linear and

analytical consciousness that is limited in capacity

To a broader conscious bandwidth that can take in orders of magnitude more information

where we move from being overloaded by multitasking to spontaneously experiencing the full spectrum and

From this elevated perspective we can learn create connect and achieve higher-level functioning

We are in the midst of substantial obstacles what they call wicked problems

Which require substantial solutions developed by highly creative?

Skillful and productive groups of people who are able to think outside the box?

Exactly what this revolution addresses

So why hasn't it taken flight thus far what's been the hang-up

The authors contend that it's been subverted

Corrupted and overlooked for so long largely because of what they call the three pails

the pail of religion the body in the state

The pail of religion has blinded our vision from the beginning and especially since its widespread adoption over 2,000 years ago

with the end of the loose Indian mysteries

The Abrahamic religions and even the Eastern traditions to some extent have had a particularly strenuous hold on human consciousness

until recently

This coincides with the pale of the body we have long feared rejected and misunderstood our own bodies

We are ashamed of its natural processes and often feel embarrassed by them whether it is mental emotional or physical

The nude body for example is the most beautiful thing of all and has been outlawed nearly everywhere in public

Shame and embarrassment are two of the strongest emotions that have been systematically used to control

manipulate and exploit human behavior in addition

We haven't fully understood the complex biological process of the body

We are only now learning about the neurochemical mechanisms of the brain and body

We're beginning to apply ancient consciousness extending techniques to the body with scientific precision

through movement music and sound food and aromas new tradition from plants herbs and supplements

meditation practices sensory deprivation and sensory overload

We are learning to truly be at peace with our minds and enjoy life by employing the bodies potential

Each of these tools and techniques has unique attributes that can be combined in different ways for maximum effect

for example

Meditation is a valuable tool that doesn't have to remain solely in traditional forms it can be accompanied by music aroma

herbs food

Use of natural tobacco or cannabis to mention only a few

It's essential to know what the essence of the technique is so that the appropriate context can be created

Meditation is like taking a rowboat across the ocean. It's a gentle slow

long-term and mindful practice

This is in contrast to psychedelics which are like taking a jet airplane across the ocean

Where you can quickly see the extensive variations of consciousness and compare them?

the pale of the state is the last barrier discussed

The modern state is relatively new having existed. Globally for less than a hundred years

before this earth consisted largely of empires and kingdoms

controlled by

aristocracy's and dominant hierarchies

But even as democracies emerged the tradition of subverting human freedom and inclusion has continued

as evidenced by the founding of the first so-called modern democracy the United States

Which only allowed white male landowners to vote to say nothing of the widespread?

subjugation of people's rights afterwards

This tradition of prohibiting groups or behaviors that challenge the corrupt status quo has endured to the present

Despite the efforts of reformers exemplified in the modern counterculture

This is part of the everlasting struggle between generations and part of a long culture war

until recently these pales has systematically stunted and subverted human consciousness and

the Promethean revolution

The revolution of ecstasy's has proliferated

Recently due two key industries that are contributing scientific understanding to non-ordinary states

including

psychology neurobiology

Pharmacology and technology

The author's tell a history of a new psychology through the lens of the human potential movement

the sexual revolution and the use of altered states to cure trauma and affect lifelong development

What's been discovered is that under the right conditions?

Altered states can lead to altered traits

from self discovery to self development

With neurobiology we're beginning to better understand the structural elements of consciousness itself

Consciousness is no longer viewed through the simplistic lens of an isolated

Egocentric self, but rather a complex process that involves the whole body in the whole spectrum of consciousness

Which includes the breadth of biochemistry and even the power of intention?

our consciousness is constantly changing

moment by moment

hourly daily

yearly and

Historically we've been able to affect it only in meager ways

We've essentially been stumbling around in the dark in

Large part. We are a series of automatic programs and have therefore been susceptible to manipulation by others and

Mediated by arcane dogma that has been weighed down by historical tradition

But now we can reprogram ourselves using

Scientific understanding with the author's described as moving from an operating system to a user interface

Where we can upgrade our own software?

What we've learned is that rather than meditating for 30 years in Tibet with the hope of a glimpse of the broader reality

These states can be reproduced at will with the right techniques and tools

Pharmacology allows us to use our biochemistry in tailor-made ways

Intoxication is just one form of this

But a particularly potent one

It's unfortunate that the gatekeepers of society have largely treated. This as a frivolous activity

Even though everyone in it willingly engages in the activity in one form or another

This view largely remains as a mechanism for control more than anything else in

reality it appears that intoxication is a natural part of human functioning perhaps even a core aspect a

primary motivation akin to food water and sex and

Humans aren't alone in fact intoxication is widespread throughout the animal kingdom

It's been documented in dolphins

horses and birds to name a few

The critical advancement of pharmacology is the targeted inducement of particular states of consciousness?

That lead to long lasting cognitive enhancements like deep patterning lateral thinking and problem-solving capabilities

These innovations emerge through personal and professional pains by courageous researchers like Alexander Shulgin

Who despite the consequences?

Open sourced the information

Something most people don't know is that this was also Tim Leary strategy. He feared that

unaccountable authorities would appropriate psychedelics and use them for nefarious purposes

And of course that's exactly what happened from the outset they were weaponized and turned into tools of manipulation in

the modern era

Technology is making ecstasy safer and more approachable

Using everything from acoustics to visual arts virtual reality and physical activity

transforming once risky experiences like skydiving

Into a safe wind tunnel experience for example

These personal benefits multiply and become a social transformation engine for the collective whole

Giving us more capability and opportunity and allowing us to be more resilient in the face obstacles

This translates into greater innovation and creativity, and this is exactly the kind of exponential increase in problem-solving

That we need to solve our many wicked problems

This is exemplified by the Burning Man experience in

Which people from all over the world and across the spectrum of interests me to explore non-ordinary States

It's the ultimate real-life sandbox and open world environment

The greatest dangers to this revolution our

manipulation abuse and coercion by institutions with a vested interest in maintaining

dominance over human consciousness

we have at least 10,000 years of history to draw from the

Authors argue that the principal threats come from militarism and corporate consumerism

Where the public is susceptible to fear-mongering by unaccountable groups with vast resources?

That can fund research to manipulate us for their own advantages

This is an asymmetric battleground in which the Wolves have built the henhouse

The main advantage of the Promethean opposition is unfettered access to open source information

The levers of power now reside in a free and open Internet

The fire that Prometheus stole has transformed into electrical signals that instantaneously traverse the earth

The more we share across unconstrained connections the more we can explore the depth and breadth of reality

The author's end with the discussion of known issues in the democratization of X aussies and offer some guidelines

It's natural to suddenly realize and new and immense capacity in ecstasies

It was previously hidden from sight and it's equally natural to get lost there

however, the mature response is to ground yourself in the realization that everyone is capable of this experience and

Deserving of the opportunity to discover it

Exploring the spectrum consciousness should be done with the right mindset in the right environments and with the right intentions

each tool has unique benefits and limitations and

the effect of the tools range across the entire spectrum

From relaxed and gentle to sudden and intense

When exploring the ocean of consciousness?

One can take a sailboat or jet plane

Neither is a panacea

So find what works for you and create your own unique combinations

Following these guidelines will prevent the unfortunate mistakes of the past

Finally and most importantly the tools are not the goal

Just like the finger is not the moon

The tools help us to experience the spectrum of consciousness in reality

The dream of the new world is the flowering of human consciousness

The nightmare is a waste of this potential

The balance hangs by a thread in what you do matters

It's a battle of inches and degrees

The empires of old emerged and disappeared one degree at a time and this revolution is no different

What is unique is the scale of this profound endeavor?

It's for the consciousness of a planet that represents the universe

It's an opportunity for the cosmos to know itself

Top 10 Best Rice / Pressure Cookers to Buy in 2018 - Best Rice Cooker Review - Duration: 10:05.

Last year I reviewed instant pots and this year the manufacturer

introduces instant pop IP duo. They made a few improvements over the last model

so let me show you what those are. First I added a couple of slots in the

handles so you can hold the lid. When you're finished making dinner no more

trying to figure out where or how to put the lid on the counter. They've also

included a new low profile steamer rack, which makes it with handles which makes

it easier to lower and raise the foods from the pressure cooker. The digital

display is 30% larger which means it's easier to read from across the kitchen

and let me turn instant potter on i'm going to show you a couple more

improvements and they include a little rack for the cord so it doesn't

accidentally go underneath the cooker in a condensation collector to prevent any

leakage. And one more thing i noticed this right away when I put instant pot

out of the box, it has a slimmer, smaller body so it takes up less space but it

still cooks the same capacity as the previous model

let's talk about safety now instant pot has 10 safety features and they include

a locking lid, a thermal electrical fuse, leak detection, lid position alerts

overpressure protection, double anti blockage vents and instant pot is also

UL certified the underwriters laboratory set the most stringent pressure cooker

safety standards in North America. Instant pot improved the design of the

steam handle, the previous one had too many positions. This one only has one

venting and one sealing position. Also, the previous one could be put on

backwards this one cannot be put on backwards, it can only be put in place in

the right position and here's an interesting technical tidbit, inside the

steam release handle; most electric pressure cooker manufacturers make a

little cone out of plastic or metal instant pot has made this cone out of

silicone and that's to make a tighter seal and prevent any steam leakage

instant pots new model detects the position of the lid. If the lid is in the

correct position for the cooking program, the display will say lids and it also

makes a little sound when the lid is closed, open and removed

What I like about instant pot is its convenience. You could really set it and

forget it. That's because it has a microprocessor, it's like a digital brain

that regulates time, temperature and pressure. Instant pot makes rice, multi

grains, it steams vegetables and seafood and it also makes yogurt but it can also

slow cook and saute and speaking of sauteing this is a browning function and

this function can be used before pressure cooking and after pressure

cooking. Let's compare each of these functions, because of pressure instant

pot steams faster than a conventional steamer and unlike most slow cookers you

can saute and brown the ingredients before slow cooking in the same pot.

The slow cooker program can be set anywhere from 30 minutes to 20 hours and you can

choose low medium or high temperature and speaking of browning you could saute

in one of three temperatures as well and browning can be done before cooking and

you can use the same button to reduce liquids after pressure cooking. You can

pressure cook at two levels now low and high pressure. Low pressure is about

seven PSI and high pressure about eleven. But here's my favorite new function, the

yogurt button you could pasteurize milk or make yogurt with the same button and

you can make either the yogurt directly in the instant pot or in little vases

and I'm going to show you how this works a little bit later. These new seven

functions mean no more standing around or waiting at the stove. It's truly a set

it and forget it cooking appliance. Instant pot comes with a stainless steel

inner pot. It's solid durable and doesn't have any nonstick coating you have to

worry about peeling off. The base has an aluminum sandwich that means between the

base and this outer cap there's an aluminum disk to help distribute heat

evenly the aluminum is never in contact with the food. It's actually a high

polished stainless steel, which makes it easy to clean and dishwasher safe too

instant pot comes in two sizes the five and a six liter I recommend the

readers of hit pressure-cooking.com to go with the larger size for the taller

cooking area for when you want to pressure cook more than one thing at

once

I'm gonna show you how to use the instant pot now first you add the food

and ingredients for this demonstration I'm gonna use water

then you twist on the lid

and choose the correct steam handle position for the

pressure cooking programs we put sealing and slow cooking programs venting don't

worry you don't have to remember all of this it's written in the QuickStart

guide. Now all there's left to do is choose a

cooking program I'm going to turn this around a little bit so I could see it

each cooking program has also two other adjustments, you can push the adjust

button to see the other suggestions for the cooking program or you can manually

change the cooking time by pushing the plus or minus buttons. You can push it

one at a time for each minute or you press and hold to have it go through

minutes much more quickly. In a few seconds instant pot will beep and that

will tell you it knows what to do and it's going to start doing it and then

you can walk away. At first the food inside the instant pot will be brought

to a boil this will produce steam which right now is pushing air out of instant

pot. Once enough air is pushed out of the instant pot and enough steam is

generated instant pot will begin to build pressure. This signal will pop up

to lock the lid completely closed and once the lid is locked and the contents

are under pressure there's no way to open the pressure cooker. When the steam

stops coming out of the instant pot, the cooking program will begin. Once the

program starts the cooking time begins to count down when pressure cooking is

finished instant pot will go into the keep warm mode. The display will begin

counting up with a little L that means your food will be kept warm and at a

safe temperature for up to 10 hours or just until you're ready to serve dinner

there are two ways to open an instant pot the first one is with natural

release and that just means you turn off the cooker and wait for the

to come down by itself, the second way is the quick release and that means you

just turn the steam release handle to the venting position, once pressure is

released you can remove the lid and enjoy dinner

you can make almost anything in the instant pot IP duo from soups to chilies

stews, steamed vegetables and meats, rissotos, fall-off-the-bone meat and

desserts too. Making one pot meals is a snap and are quick as well. The instant

pot IP duo takes place over a conventional steamer, rice cooker, slow

cooker, yogurt maker, pressure cooker and more
