that Isaiah Thomas. The OG basketball legend, is gonna be hosting and is

going to be at. So, I'm really excited to see how, what's gonna happen. If your new

celebrating the Raptors game tonight with Isiah Thomas and of course the

galaxy s 9 an incredibly stunning phone the camera reimagined the camera is

redesigned in many many ways dual aperture and ensures you get great

but what I really want to know is what are some of your favorite features of

this new phone there are two things that I love about this phone the first is

super slow-mo it shoots a 960 frames a second you've never seen slow-mo like

sound you have never heard volume and surround sound from a smart phone like

this before alright guys so that is a little bit of

for you man what was the like of what how did you feel when you heard that

there's a new Isaiah Thomas in the NBA I was thrilled no no really I mean what

what an honor right somebody what are the odds of

somebody being named after you right and then they make it to the NBA and then

they become a star player in the NBA I mean it's like it's mind-blowing for

real it's like wow so uh and then when I met him he was really such a great guy

so getting to know him his life story and everything else so I'm deeply

humbled and honored I saw so that's up alright so this is a question someone

said Ted and we want to know what was the greatest achievement in your career

NBA that you feel most proud of winning winning back-to-back championship

back-to-back no you know when you can when you can beat the best in the world

and your team at the end of the season can say we're the best basketball team

that's playing in the world that's an awesome field

that's live man that's live I said you're Thomas right yeah

so from your whole career of being an NBA player and also coach what's a piece

of advice that you give to young people going into the world right now we're

just your experiences whether it's an MBA or just a life in general if you can

love what you do and do what you love I mean if you if you if you can do the

things that you love you never work it's never work I mean sitting here talking

to you believe it or not I'm working this is crazy this is my job

like um I'm supposedly working talking basketball we get the Rito's we got food

I mean do we work in same you and I can see you love what you do I just wanted

WHAT'S IN MY TRAVEL MAKEUP and SKINCARE BAG? - Duration: 12:59.

Hey guys! Welcome back!

In today's video, I will show you what's in my travel makeup and skincare bag

I know these are really big

I am at Jakarta right now and will be attending an event

The event is quite important

I need to put a gorgeous makeup. That's why I bring a lot

I will show you what's inside

because I bring extra this time

To be honest, my makeup bag is not so pretty

But yea, let's get started

And for now, we will start from the skincare bag

This is the bag where I put in my skincare, as this can load so many skincare of mine

This bag is from Philosophy

Now, we will start to see what's inside

Inside this bag, I put my skincare, hair vitamin, and lotion

First, we will start from the upper one

First, I bring this. Vaseline Healthy White Lotion

I intentionally carry this to spend them all and dispose the container

So, it lightens my bag

Next is Bioderma. This is cleansing or micellar water

I like to carry this because during travelling, I want my face to be fresh without facing my face,

I can use this to remove my base makeup. So, this is it

Now, for the skincare. I bring all my full size skincare from Kicho

This one is toner

I also bring the essence. The container is not that big, so it is okay

I also bring moisturizer for morning and night

lately, I like skincare from Laneige which is Clear C Peeling Serum

This serum has function to whiten, no I think it brightens the skin

this also contains BHA that is able to soften the skin

That's all for the skincare

I also bring deodorant from Dove, but the plastic is thrown away, but ya I bring one

to avoid body odour

I also carry hair vitamin L'oreal Extraordinary Oil

I carry this because I plan to spend this and throw the container away

Next, I also carry dry shampoo from Big Hair Don't Care

I really like this because this dry shampoo can make our hair look big and voluminous

This does not adsorb that much oil. I will show you

After that, just apply it like this

It doesn't directly make your hair bigger, but textured

When you go to an event, this will be really great to make you look more gorgeous

So, I bring this just in case my hair is oily, as my hair is often oily

I also carry hair spray from Barbara

This looks old-fashioned but I like this because the spraying method releases water

So I bring this because my hair is the typical hair that will be straight really fast after curling

just a little more products inside this bag

I also have Mac Prime Fix. This one is a set spray makeup to set after makeup look

and not to make your face too powdery. So, I bring this

This is an extra. Basically, I have never brought this much for holiday

The last is my comb. This is also an old-fashioned comb

Okay, that's all for my skincare bag

Now, I will show you my makeup bag

This makeup bag has been with me for 3 years

When it is opened, it looks like this

It can load much and be hanged in toilet of your hotel

I will start from the small bag first

I put in my brushes, but actually I don't bring a lot, only the most important ones

these are my brushes

This one is powder brush, so is this. I unintentionally bring two

this one is blush brush from ZOEVA, angle brush for contouring, highlighter brush from real techniques

the rests are for eye makeup. Brushes are from real techniques, sigma, BH cosmetics

I will not explain one by one, but if you are interested to know

which one is my favorite brush, the most used brush, I will make a video about it

next is the middle one. this is where I put in my makeup. I will show you one by one

the first one is I carry primer from Makeup Forever series Hydrating

and I bring my favorite foundation from L'oreal Infallible Pro-matte.

I like the combination from both because L'oreal is a bit matte and I will prefer to use primer that hydrates

vice versa

and every time I use these two combos, lots of people say my skin is good,

the makeup is having a good resistance and flawless look

that's why if I have important event, I will use these as these suit on my skin. I love both of these

for the concealer, I bring Clio Kill Cover.

To be honest, this has been dry that is why I want to spend it all and throw away the container

I like this as this is full coverage and make my skin look softer.

these three are best combinations. I love it

Usually, if I already apply this foundation and concealer, I will not use powder anymore

because if I apply powder, my skin looks dry.

So I leave without using powder and it will resist for a day

for eyebrows product, I bring three. The first one is eyebrow pencil from Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Whiz.

I also carry Eyebrow Pomade Benefit Ka-Brow. I like this so much especially for event

I also bring Maybelline Brow Precise Fiber Volumizer

This makes our eyebrows more feathery

Next is for eye makeup. I only bring one eyeshadow palette

Usually I always bring ABH Modern Renaissance, but I think I use it too often and need to move on

otherwise, my makeup will look the same

so this time, I bring Colour Pop Element of Surprise

this one has purple, pink, but also brown. I really like the formula of Colour Pop Eyeshadow

So, this is really good and the price is affordable

So, if you are looking for eyeshadow, I highly recommend you to try Colour Pop

then, I also bring extra glitter eyeshadow as I really like my eyeshadow to be glittery

I don't really suit matte eyeshadow

I like the glittery ones

and I bring two. the first one is Colour Pop Supernova Eyeshadow Firecracker

this one is Holika Holika

These are the swatches for Holika Holika and Colour Pop

Basically, when I do makeup and apply this to my eyelids, my makeup will look gorgeous. I like these

I love it

for fake eyelashes, I bring three from Sheilash. The first one is natural and gives dolly eyes look

The second is dolly model. This also gives dolly look and I really like it as it looks natural

the last one is I have the glam model. This can be used for night event that needs bold makeup

I currently like fake eyelashes from Sheilash as they look good and natural.

They only give us three options, but those are really good

what lacks is it can't be used for too long, it can only be used for several times

for the mascara, I bring Maybelline The Falsies Push Up Angel

I like this because the wand is really small, it is convenient to apply to my thin and short eyelashes

next, I also bring three eyeliners

the first one is Clio Kill Black Waterproof Brush Liner

for the tightline, I use one from Lavie Matte Dark Brown Waterproof Liner

I also bring this one. This is actually more like crayon eyeliner. The size is big

This is from Nyx. The shade is Yoghurt.

I apply this to my inner eye corner and cover it with eyeshadow

as to make my eyeshadow popped

for contouring, I bring Too Cool for School Art Class by Rodin. The colors are like this

actually, this looks really natural and less pigmented

but I am lazy to bring Kat Von D, actually it is really good and pigmented, good for a gorgeous makeup look

but, for travelling, the size is too big, so I decide to bring this compact and small product

and I like this product for contouring my nose as this results a natural look

for blush, I bring two from Becca Cosmetic both because the packages are small, colors are good

pigmented and last for all day

the first color that I carry is tigerlily. the color is orange

the second color that I carry is a more pink one, Snapdragon

for highlighter, I carry small size from Fenty Beauty

this one is Killawatt Hustla Baby

still a few more products remained, the last ones are lipstick

for the nude color, I bring lipstick from Etude House. This one is like My Lips But Better Lipstick

the color is alike with my lips, but better. the color is beige brownish

for the red lipstick, I bring Maybelline Gigi Hadid Lani. The color is like this. I like to combine both

I also bring the pink purple lipstick, I apply it right now on my lips

No number in the package, but I will try to put it on the description box

The color is more like purple, pink, muted magenta, I don't know how to explain the color

I also bring 3CE. the color is orange.

When I want my makeup to be orange, I apply this lipstick 114 Rose

I also bring liptint, Maybelline no. 7

This is still new. I recently open this. The color is more like coral

I also bring lipgloss, Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb. This is a really good lipgloss, the color is beige nude.

It looks very luxurious using this on my lips, feels gorgeous

that's why I bring this

and the last one is accessories, curler for eyelashes, pinset to take out eyebrow and put on eyelashes

and small scissor to cut the edge of eyelashes, and so on. This is really useful

this is the very last part of my bag

I bring two sheet masks, Tea tree care solution for acne problem, I actually bring this for Hoshi

So, that's it

I also bring sunscreen from Cosrx

I also bring removal of lip and eye makeup from Clio Micro-Fessional Eye Lip Makeup Remover

and also cotton bud and panty liner just in case I need it

okay guys, these are the stuff that I usually bring during travelling

and also these are stuff that I believe to apply when I want to attend event

as during travelling, I always bring products that are convenient to use and last long on my face

so, these are the products

This is really tasty because of layers of crepe.

The crepe cake that I made

has chewy texture.

Of course, my crepe is better than this.

The one someone makes is a little better indeed.

This is tasty.

Rather than eating one by one,

eating by cutting the crepe is better to me.

the Olympic gold medal.

This 21-year-old Singaporean,

Joseph Schooling, what a superstar.

History might come in the form

of Singapore's Joseph Schooling.

Everyone knows the Olympics is the biggest thing.

This young man, he has a very strong sense

of history and legacy.

It takes a tough, courageous person

to handle that pressure.

Everyone is watching

and that's the pinnacle for athletes.

He's been so impressive, and now he finds himself

in the fastest lane.

Keep your nerves, keep composed.

Now the scene is set.

And having to execute

everything that I trained for...

..that was probably the biggest moment in my life.

My name is Joseph Schooling.

Growing up in Singapore, I used to live

on the east coast, close to the beach.

I had my first competition when I was four

and it was little 25-meter races.

I think I bagged, like, ten medals.

I didn't know what that meant at that point.

You see all these parents going nuts. It's kind of funny.

I loved racing.

And from a young age, had that feeling,

hated to lose.

He was a happy baby, very happy baby,

very easy to look after.

He loved the water.

Every holiday we'd go, it's, like,

he stays in the water.

It happened in her hometown.

He was about eight years old

and 4:30 in the morning, he woke me up.

I say, "What's happening, son?"

He said, "I've gotta go for training."

I say, "You gotta go for what?"

For an eight-year-old to wake you up

at 4:30 in the morning, that is special.

Very special.

And then I took him seriously.

Every meet that he swam was documented.

You could see a pattern, how he was advancing.

Then every year, I would put the times

he had to achieve, target that I put him

against American 4As, Triple As,

then the Malaysian record,

the Singapore junior records,

the school records, his PBs, and his goal.

(CONVINCED THE GOVERNMENT TO GRANT JOSEPH)

(AN UNPRECEDENTED DEFERMENT OF THE TWO-YEAR MILITARY SERVICE)

(REQUIREED OF ALL SINGAPOREAN MALES.)

(THIS ALLOWED JOSEPH TO CONTINUE)

(HIS ATHLETIC DEVELOPMENT UNINTERRUPTED.)

Singapore, because it's a young nation,

they were concentrating on building the country.

We don't have enough competitions.

I needed to go to a different level

of training to improve myself.

And the only way to do that, you know,

was to go overseas.

My dad hosted the US Olympic team in 2008.

Before they went to Beijing, they stopped over in Singapore.

Every coach he asked pointed to Bolles

in Jacksonville, Florida, under Sergio Lopez.

It was definitely a little intimidating,

coming from a smaller country.

That was the first time I'd been to the US,

first time away from my parents.

Honestly, I hated it, my first year.

Just hated it.

But for a 13-year-old kid, I was in boarding school.

I was a little spoiled in Singapore as a kid.

Never had to pick up after myself,

never had to do dishes, laundry, that kind of things.

It was a huge awakening.

And it taught me to mature real quick.

Taught me to grow up.

Not every parent can afford this kind of thing.

I sacrificed my business.

But that's my choice, it was nobody else's choice.

I don't want to be the richest man in the cemetery.

It was difficult.

We only have one son.

Always I ask him, "So, you want to come back?" "No."

He might cry, he might whine, but, "No, Mom.

"If I come back, I'm not going to get to the Olympics."

That was his standard.

I wanted to make an Olympic final.

I wanted to be top eight and I thought I could,

especially in that 200 fly.

I can still remember walking into that call room.

Michael's in my heat, 200 fly.

I looked up, he was just looking right at me,

and you know, for a 17-year-old kid

to see Michael Phelps staring him down,

that was definitely something.

I had lofty expectations for myself.

I did some really good training up to then.

I think that was the most disappointing part.

(MINUTES BEFORE THE RACE, JOSEPH WAS INFORMED BY RACE)

(OFFICIALS THAT HIS SWIM CAP AND GOGGLES DID NOT MEET BRAND)

(REGULATIONS. HE HAD TO FIND REPLACEMENT GEAR TO COMPETE.)

(THE FIASCO DEALT A MENTAL BLOW TO THE 17-YEAR-OLD.)

I thought it was going to be the end of the world

and I started panicking.

And once you start panicking, you lose track of things.

You lose focus.

And everything goes down from there.

That was probably one of the most horrible experiences

of my life up till now.

I guess I wasn't old enough

and I wasn't experienced enough

to put that behind me

and continue doing what I was going to do.

For the next six months,

I was, you know, in and out of it.

I didn't want to swim any more.

I didn't want to go through it.

I wasn't focused at all.

I remember falling down.

I think I broke my ankle.

So, things like that.

I'm glad I could have great people around me

to dig me out of that hole.

Sergio, after a while, got pretty mad

that I wasn't bouncing back from it.

I remember, it was Thanksgiving in 2012.

We had a huge falling-out, we didn't speak to each other

for a couple weeks.

And I think that was when my wake-up call came.

In hindsight,

I'd say experience would be the biggest thing

that I was lacking.

But I'm glad it happened.

It helped me mature as an athlete and a person.

Those are the kind of setbacks we need sometimes

to find out what we're really made of.

To say, all right, if you really want to do this,

put it behind you, start moving on.

The clock resets every four years.

By the time I arrived in 2016,

I'd been to every major games there is

and I raced against everyone that I competed

in the Olympic final.

So I knew what to expect.

Actually, we were planning not to go.

We said, "We'll watch you from home."

Of course, my son says,

"Mom, I'm going on the podium. You're not coming?"

That's how confident he was. Can you imagine?

I'll tell you something.

20 minutes before he swam,

Straits Times interviewed me.

"What would you wish to say to Joseph?"

I would tell Joseph to stun the world.

Just stun it.

And that I love you, that's all.

I still remember how it felt before the 100 fly final.

Four years of work coming down to this one moment.

There were so many feelings,

the combination of being anxious,

being nervous, excited.

Very emotional.

Singapore stopped.

Even my friends WHO were playing golf,

they all stopped and went to view it

on their hand phone.

And then the schools had it shown.

Factories stopped work so that their workers can watch.

- Singapore stopped. - Literally.

Take your mark.

Schooling's reaction time's the best by far of everyone

and he starts well again.

Schooling's looking good

and right on that world record time.

He's transferred the form that he showed

in the heats into the semifinals

and into the final.

And he's a body-length clear, almost.

Can he hold on?

We were hoping to see history in the pool.

But we are, history, because Singapore

has won an Olympic gold medal

and an Olympic record time.

Joseph Schooling, simply sensational.

I was overjoyed for him.

You couldn't have written a better story, you know?

Greatest Olympian of all time exiting and you beat him.

A three-way tie at the end.

It was a very touching moment.

First time we see our national anthem

being sang at the Olympics.

That was really...

That touched my heart.

And so did my fellow Singaporeans.

A lot of them...

..were very emotional.

It was so surreal.

We arrived, like, 5am in the morning.

The whole Changi Airport was full of people.

There were people everywhere.

He was in the papers everywhere.

The response that I got back home

was a better feeling than winning.

It was definitely an emotional roller-coaster ride,

coming back for all the festivities.

On the deck, we called him the King of Singapore,

the Prince of Singapore, just to mess with him

because we knew...

We knew he was a celebrity, but we didn't know, like,

the gravity or the magnitude of it.

And then when we hit, when we touched down

in Singapore, you know, there was people

that ushered him from this place to that place,

you know, get his bags, bodyguards, everything.

He was like a movie star.

I didn't think the reception would be as huge as it was.

It was that nuts, because something like that

has never happened before.

It's great to see huge support pouring in,

not only from the government, but from the people.

Previously, we haven't been a sporting nation at all.

So, to see this glimmer of hope

for the sporting scene in Singapore, I think,

that's excited a lot of people.

And they're doing everything they can

to help more people get to that point.

I think he's really shown that culture

that you don't have to be a doctor, a lawyer,

or a successful businessman, you know.

There's success outside of those mediums.

And he's achieved it to the fullest extent.

An Olympic gold medal for such a young country,

it's incredible.

(AFTER RIO, JOSEPH RETURNED TO THE US TO TRAIN UNDER COACH)

(EDDIE REESE AT THE UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS, AUSTIN,

(WHERE HE'D BEEN ENROLLED SINCE 2014.)

After Rio, and after he won, and set the Olympic record,

he had accomplished all his life goals.

He had to reset more goals.

And we didn't catch that until first semester

was almost gone.

He had a rough first semester, getting back into work.

But if you can imagine, at age 20,

your life goals in the sport of swimming

have been answered.

Olympic gold medal, Olympic record,

I mean, that's unheard of, because he had never

even finaled in the Olympics.

And he just stepped up, qualified first

after the heats, first after the semifinals.

I was scared to death, and then he won.

And so that's been the main thrust,

trying to get over that and get back in the...

If you want to get better, you gotta work harder.

His parents have been positive with him,

and I think that may be the most important thing

that parents could do or should do.

You gotta get it somewhere

so that you keep striving to get better.

And May and Colin are excellent at that.

I always tell him,

"Whatever you do, you're doing for yourself.

"It's not for me." You just have to support them.

- That's what we did. - There's no fixed formulation.

It's a sacrifice that you've got to be willing to make.

We were lucky, because Joseph

met some of the best coaches in the world.

Sergio Lopez was a coach that was good for development.

And then Eddie Reese brought him to another level.

All I want to do is get him to go faster.

If I can do that,

that'll take care of everything else.

And he's nowhere near as fast as he can go.

My love for racing

is the biggest reason why I get out of bed in the morning.

I hate practice, I'm not going to lie,

but I know that if I want to get to that point,

I'm going to do whatever it takes to be the best.

I'm looking forward to starting this new part of my life

and trying to inspire as many people as I can

to do things that previously thought they couldn't do.
