Youtube daily report Feb 6 2019

Hi ya'll and welcome or welcome back to my channel

today I come at you

with a new empties video

the video in which I

talk about all the products that I finished up sharing some, hopefully,

short reviews and I let you know if I liked them or not

if I'm going to buy them again or not

it's basically a vade mecum of all the products i used up

while I'm lit by this heavenly sun ray

it's kind of a step

forward

from the classic monthly favorites video because

these are products that I've been using for a long period of time

which means I had to chance to get a more precise idea

as you can see my empties box

as usual is filled to the brim, so I'll try to be quick

I have skincare, make up and hair care items, so we'll cover these 3 cathegories

We should defintely get started because

this is going to be quite a long video

Ok, let's get started!

As usual I'll pick the products randomly, while still trying

to stay in the same cathegory

the first product that I pick is a

face cream by Sysley

it's very expensive, but I featured it in my favorites videos many times

so, spoiler,

I like it a lot, in fact

I bought it again and I'm actually using it right now

it's the Hydra global

intense anti aging hydration

an hydrating anti-age cream

that I like for several reasons

I'll try to be quick

one of the reason is the packaging because it has a built in pump

that allows to

get the product without sticking your fingers in a jar

which is something I hate

I also like

coming back to more substantial aspect

the texture because it's lightweight, almost a gel

that soaks in quickly

it's refreshing, it soaks in quickly, I always say that about creams

and it deeply hydrates and nourishes the skin

and reduces the appearance of the fine lines

no miracles involved, because miracle creams do not exist

so sad...

let's move with skincare

with a Filorga eye cream, the Optim-eyes

which has been my go to eye cream for the past months

and in fact I already bought it again and I'm still using it right now

you won't be surprised to know that I like the packaging

for the same exact reason, the built-in pump

I love this kind of packaging

it's an eye cream that

reduce the appearance of fine lines

it depuffs the eye bags and it slightly

reduces the ...

dark circles too

sometimes i don't remember the words in my own language

whatever

to sum everything, it's a thumbs up for me

in general

mainly for the same reasons of the face cream

great packaging

easy to apply and it offers good results

let's move to body products with a cream

the brazilian bum bum cream

another cream that I featured in many favorites videos

this is the travel size, it's a rich body cream

but it soaks in quickly nontheless

and it has a vanilla fragrance

which is amazing

I can still smell it and it lingers on after you applied the cream

it's an hydrating cream of course

it's quite rich and it also tones up and leaves the skin smooth as a baby's butt

so it's another thumbs up

if you watch my videos you'll know that 90% of the empties are products that I liked

with a few bad surprises along the way

just as it happens in life

let's move on with skincare

with another Filorga product

the previous one was by Filorga too, am I right? Yes!

this is the NCTF Intense, a

rejuvenating serum

I liked it because Filorga is a brand

that has never disappointed me

it has a good quality/price ratio

you can find it in drugstores

it's high quality

but I haven't bough it again mainly because I'm not really into serums

I'm sure many of you would be shaking

that's because I'm too lazy to add another step to my skincare routine

but I'm aware that serums can be very effective

but at the moment I can't get around to using them

on a daily base

anyway it was a lovely anti-age serum, it toned up and rejuvenated the skin

it gives a boost both to your day and night creams

and in fact if I remember well I used it day and night

I haven't bought it again, but I would give it a thumbs up anyway

let's move on with the skincare

because I still have quite a lot of products to show you, so I'll try to be quick

I have 2 night creams

one is by Clinique, the smart night

I love Clinique creams

I usually get back to them quite often

rotating them with some other ones

this is not one of my favorites

I haven't used it nor bought it again lately

but it's a good night cream nontheless with a nice texture

it's nice to apply

it's rich, which is great because night creams should always be more nourishing

because our skin regenerates at night

so it's important to offer a great amount of hydration

so try to use nourishing creams

in the evening

the second cream is by Lierac, it's the one that I've been using nonstop

for the past 3 months, if I'm not wrong, maybe more

as I said I usually rotate the creams

but I have some staples and

the Liera c Premium

creme Soyeuse anti age absolue

has become one of my go to night creams

in fact I kept buying it and I'm still using it right now

I love the texture because it's rich

but nice to apply, it has a

a neutral fragrance, which is good

and it deeply hydrates the skin

while reducing

the appearance of the fine lines

which are more and more visible as years go by

then I have another face cream

this time is a day cream again by Clinique

it's another go to cream for me

one of those creams I always go back to

it's the Superdefence SPF 20

a cream that I tend to reach for more in the Summertime because of the SPF

which is good, both in Summer and Winter

but of course we're more under the sun in Summer

so it's good to have an hydrating cream with SPF

this one is mainly an hydrating cream without any specific anti age formula

it's quite rich in texture, but very refreshing and very nourishing

another thumbs up, even if right now I'm using the Sysley one

so I haven't bought this one again yet

but I could do that as Spring rolls in

let's move on with 2 of my great classics

which are always present in my empties videos

I show them quickly

the Bioderma Sensibio H2O micellar water

or crealine H2O if you buy it in France

it's my favorite make up remover, I always use this product

together with lancome Bi Facil or Bi Facil eye make up remover

I never change because these are both formulated for sensitive skin

and especially the bi facil or bi facil

is perfect if you have sensitive eyes like mines that get irritated

very easily

as this is ...

very gentle

I can use it without any problem

I already abought again both of them because as I said they're the only products I use to remove my make up

let's see if I have any other skincare product

yes I have a few face masks

I have 2 by Starskin which is a brand that I love

sorry about this weird ray of light that makes it difficult to show the products

this is an under eye mask, the smoothing bio cellulose second skin eye mask

so a mesk...a MESK?

a tissue mask that you keep on for

10 minutes, then you remove it and in my opinion it has a good quality price ratio

and it offers some good results because it's very hydrating

it reduces the appearance of fine lines

and it also depuffs the eye bags

and it's ...

brightening, so basically everything you ask in an eye mask

and it has a reasonable price

if I'm not wrong I bought it on Asos

anyway I haven't said it yet, but I'll do that now

on my blog I'll link all the products featured in this video

and the link to the blogpost is in the downbar

right here below

or by clicking on the I that will appear above my head

and you'll find the whole list of products

with links to either

buy them if you're interested or simply to

find out more by visiting the hops that sell them

the second Starkin mask is the

Hydrating bio cellulose second skin face mask

which give more or less the same benefits of the eye mask

because it's hydrating

it leaves the skin smooth and fresh and more toned up

and it deeply hydrates it, I love the tissue masks a lot

I always say that because they're quick and easy to use

there's no need to rinse them off

once again you need to keep it on for around 10 minutes

and it offers some good results.

moreover I particularly like the bio cellulose masks

I was loosing my light...

I'm loosing my light!

ok bye!

I'm loosing my voice because I'm trying to be quick

another mask I really enjoyed is

the Filorga time filler mask

as you may have noticed Filorga is a brand that I like, I already featured a few products in this video

it's a smoothing mask, that's what it says

with a collagen formula which means

it's anti-age too

as usual you need to leave these masks on for 10/15 minutes

and I really loved this one.

then I have another face mask that I bought

on a whimp

the brand is Too cool for school and it's again

an eye mask

with a coconut serum

what can I say?

I don't remember much about it

it was nice to apply, hydrating, but it was not one of those masks

that you feel to urge to buy again

I apologize for this bad lighting, I can't stand looking at me in the viewfinder

because behind me it looks like an heavenly apparition

and on the front is super dark

but I've got a window on that side and there's not much I can do about it

but let's not quibble as I have here my last..is it? yep, my last face mask for this video and it's by Sephora

the charcoal one

there are some others on the market that I prefer, like the Boscia one, which

I think I threw away after I filmed by December favorites video and I forgot to keep it for the empties video

I love charcoal masks in general

because they deeply purify the skin

some are more aggressive, while other ones are more gentle

the Boscia one is more gentle in my opinion

this is slightly more aggressive

it minimizes the pores and purifies the skin

and it has a good quality/price ratio as it's by Sephora

which is not bad

as I said I haven't ...well maybe I didn't say it, but I haven't bought it again because

now I'm using

mainly the Boscia one, as I like it more

last...no wait I've got more skincare products

Oh gosh I've got so much stuff!

let's keep going

I've got 2

thermal waters, one is by Evian and the other is by Avene

I'm loving the Avene one more

mainly because it's easier to find, while the Evian one is easier to find in France

than in Italy

I use thermal waters quite a lot, these are clearly travel sizes

but I also have the full size of this Avene one

I use them a lot

to wet my beautyblender

instead of using tap water which is more aggressive

and as I said I already bought the Avene one in full size

and then I have this beauty elixir by Caudalie

which is a

refreshing spray which also has

richer formula and it brightens and smooths the skin too

it has a distinctive fragrance

very minty which feels refreshing in the Summertime

but I use it a lot in Winter too, for example in the mornings

when I work out

instead of using my face cream

which I tend to sweat out when I exercise

I spray some of this beauty elixir which is still hydrating

and I apply my face cream only after I showered

in factually...lol I wanted to say both in fact and actually

infactually I bought

the full size as I bought this one just to try it out

while I have the full size in the bathroom and I keep on using it

then

a face cleanser, this is one of my favorites,

Kiehl's calendula deep cleansing foaming face wash

I love it because it's very gentle and perfect for sensitive skins

it deeply cleanses without making the skin feel dry or annoyingly tight

it's a gel, it's rich and lovely to use as it creates a nice

foam, because I hate face cleanser which are not foamy, that's my pet peeve

and I like this one and infact I keep buying it again

even if I alternate it with other cleansers

but this one is my go-to product and in fact I bought it again ad I'm using it right now

then I have last skincare product

which is a lip balm

the Fresh Lip balm in the

caramel fragrance, i don't know how to call it

I'll start by saying that I love Fresh, if you watch my videos you know that

I love this lip balm a lot

because it's rich and it deeply hydrates the lips

if I apply it at nightime my lips are still soft in the morning

and I also love

the fragrances, I'll keep calling them so

because they are all yummy, for example this one

really smells like caramel, it makes me want to actually eat it

you obviously have to like this smell, but they have many other ones available

another one I love is the lemon one

and I'm using it right now, which answers to the question: did you buy it again? Yes I sure did!

I almost lost my voice as I've been talking for ages

so let's quickly move to the next cathegory

which is the make up one

as you may guess and I would say thankfully, I have a lot less product to share for this cathegory

because it takes longer to finish make products if compared with the skincare items

let's start with a primer

it's no mistery that my favorite primer

is the Farsali unicorn essence

this is the travel size, I prefer the smaller sizes because they need less space

and my make up stash is already

overcrowded

I finished it because I use it very often, especially when I want me make up to last longer

it comes in drops and it's unicon pink

it has pipette, you apply a few drops on your face

and it creates a good hydrating base

which makes the make up last longer as I said

I'll make it short, because I'm about to definitely loose my voice

I already bought it again, I love it, it's the primer I used nonstop since I tried it

mainly because it's very light and it doen't clog the pores

and it has no silicones inside, which are not good for the skin

then I have 2 products that I bought a long time ago, I didn't finish them

but they were expired, so I had to get rid of them and they ended up

in my empties box

they are by Sephora from their wonderful cushion line

and I surely featured them in a monthly favorites video

I think last year, one is a ...blush, I can never remember how this is called in italian

and the other is an highlighter

I liked them a lot at the time because these were among the first cushion products launched

but then

as new products were released I started to like these ones a bit less

that's why I stopped using them

but I still use quite a lot of both

you can still buy them in Sephora

as you may have guessed I haven't bought them again and I don't think I will

because at the moment I have other products

that I like more and I also lost interest for the cushion products in general

but I might fall in love with them again in the future, you'll never know

because life goes on in cycles

and interests come and go

so 2 Sephora Wonderfull cushion products

it's a side thumb for me and I haven't bought them again

then

a brow pencil

my favorite brow pencil right now and it has been for a while TBH

it's the Benefit precisely my brow pencil

I love it because it has on one side the spooler to comb the brows

and on the other side it has this, well it's empty

but it has a very thin tip that allows to draw very precisely the brows

for a very natural look

I have it in the shade n.4 which is the more suitable

with my skin and hair color in generul

general!

oh gosh, I tell you straight away that I already bought it again, I love it

and it's the brow pencil that I'm using right now

I highly recommend it

then ...ehmn

a concealer, one of my favorite concealers

is this one by Too faced, the born this way

I already bought it again and I'm still using it, alternating it with some others too

because as you know your girl loves to have choices

I love it because

it's easy to blend, it's not too rich, so

it doesn't crease

but at the same time it's brightening

which means it brightens the under eye area that often needs some boost

it looks like there's still some inside, but I swear there's not

and in fact I already bought a new one

and it's in my make up stash waiting for me

another product that I discovered last year and that I fell in love with

and that is always present in my make up collection is this

mix between a BB cream and a foundation, the Make up For Ever Ultra HD perfector

I've been using it a lot in the Summer, but I'm still using it

mixed with other more covering foundations

so I only have good words for this product

in case you're interested my shade is n.5

and I love it because it's light weight, but it still covers everything

that we wish to cover

without looking cackey

and offering a very natural finish

I have another make up item and just like the Sephora ones

I had it for a while and by the way it's the

lash sensational voluptous mascara by Maybelline

I tell you straight away that this is the only product featured in this video

that I didn't like at all

the lashes felt sticky and gross, a feeling that I hate

it was heavy

and by the way it also flaked heavily

and in fact I'm sure there's still inside, yep, that's right

but I didn't like it at all and I haven't bought it again

as I haven't even finished it

it simply expired

I'm sorry Maybelline mascara, but this time it's a thumbs down for me

Brilliant, I still have 3 more products

I'll insert this in the make up cathegory even if it's not really

as it's the Blender Cleanser

as the name says it's a cleanser for beauty blenders and make up brushes

I love it because it quickly cleans the beauty blenders and if you ever tried to wash them

you know they are hard

to bring back to a normal condition

while the blender cleanser does its job quickly

and it deeply cleans the make up brushes too

I always use it

it's my go to product

and in fact I already bought it again

because I can't live without it, then

of course you can use many other products, but nothing works as good as this one

coming to haircare I have the last 2 products, we're reaching the end after half an hour of talking

I have an hair mask

as you know my hair is quite damaged due to all the bleaching

so everytime I wash my hair I apply a mask and my favorite one

the one I've been using for years

my go to mask is the

Alterna caviar anti-aging moisture intense oil creme deep conditioner

which is both an hydrating mask and a conditioner

it detangles the hair and nourishes it at the same time

it's formulate for dry and coarse hair

but the amazing thing about this mask is that

you only need to leave it on for 3/5 minutes

so you don't have to keep it on for ages which is something I hate

while I use this one in the shower, I start by washing my hair, I apply this mask

and while I wait I wash the rest of my body and maybe I even do a scrub, then I rinse it off and I'm done

I highly recommend it, even if it's a bit hard to find in the stores

anyway as usual I'll try to link it on my blog

in case you should be interested

and let's finish, with a wisper of a voice,

this empties video

with a texturizing spray

my favorite texturizing spra, the one that

I always reach for

it's by Oribe, I never know how to pronounce it

it's the dry texturizing spray, it's super expensive, let me tell you

but it's amazing, when you use it your hair smells

as if you just keft the hairdresser, which is not bad

when your hair feels flat and by the way

I have a new one here because my hair flattens in a second and in fact

it's already as flat as a sea weed

but you only need to spray some of this on and your hair

feels more voluminous straight away

so it's definitely a product I would recommend

even if it's quite hard to find

I could never find it on sale in Italy, I know it's available online from abroad

as usual I will link it on my blog

and we finally made it to the end of this empties video

it was super long I know, but I hope that my "short" reviews

will be helpfull for you

I talked about all the products that I've been using in the past months

as you just saw I loved the majority of them

I even bought them again and I'm still using them right now

while I wasn't that sure about a few of them

and I hope that

my reviews were usefull, if so don't forget to give this video a thumbs up

so that I will know it and if you wish to know more about all of the products

that I featured in this video

head over to my blog, you'll find the link in the down bar

and by clicking on the I that will appear above my head

and you'll find there the list of all the products with links

to purchase them or simply get more infos

Ok, that's it for today

as usual if you haven't yet I invite you to subscribe to my chagnel

to suscribe , I'm loosing my mind

to suscribe to my channel in order not to miss any new video

now I'll make some tea or milk with honey because I'm actually loosing my voice

I send you a huge kiss and I'll see you in my next one, ciao

РУЛЬ ИЗ КОНФЕТ СВОИМИ РУКАМИ ☆ Подарок мужчине водителю ☆ Do-it-yourself steering wheel ☆ Diy - Duration: 8:06.

Hello everyone, my name is Anna Tyumerova and you are on the channel Buket7ruTV

and today we met at the next master class

we will do this kind of sweet composition on February 23

in fact, such a composition can be presented not only for February 23

and on any other day, on a day, on a birthday, or on any other occasion

a reason to give such a gift I think you will always find

I'll show you how I make such a wheel of candy with my own hands

join the master class do sweet compositions with me

share this master class with your friends

invite your tea girlfriends and do with them

I think you will have fun and very fruitful

let's get down and make the wheel of candy with their own hands

this time I take a very small amount of materials

I need everything that you see on the screen now

as a basis for my composition I take penoplex 2 centimeters thick

I need such a circle with a diameter of 35 centimeters

I will wrap the base with black corrugated (crepe) paper number 602

I take an Italian density of 180 grams

This time I decided to take the candy "Martian"

gold cord with a diameter of 3 millimeters

Toyota stickers, you can take any stickers that you find

my sticker is 6 centimeters in diameter

and I also take various tools that I need for work

I start making the composition as always with making the base

for this, I take a ruler and in a circle measure out 4 centimeters

I draw such a line

my wheel will be 4 centimeters wide

now starting to draw the middle of the wheel

for this, the first thing I do is determine the middle of my base

found the middle, now based on these lines, I will draw

at a distance of 4.5 centimeters from the very bottom I draw a straight line

3.5 cm in each direction

this is the beginning of the patterns in the middle of the steering wheel

I measure 5.5 centimeters under this line

and here I draw a perpendicular line of 4 centimeters on each side

I measure 8.5 centimeters farther from this middle

You can already draw such a bevel in one direction

here I measure 5 centimeters in a straight line and find the point

up to this point i need will make bevel

smoothly round the top, in the same way I draw in the other direction

further from the center line I climb 5 centimeters

here I measure two centimeters and on the other hand also two centimeters

and here I smoothly make the transition from 5 centimeters to 2

and we need to cut this part

this part and here on top

that's what we cut

after i drew this template, I drew the places I didn't need to cut

I just take a clerical knife and cut out everything neatly with a clerical knife

you can check just in case

put the cut fragment here and wrap it again

so we will draw an exact copy of what you had on the other side

and two pictures will be the same

and then cut it out too and cut it to the top

we have a foundation that needs to be pasted over with corrugated paper

now I take titanium glue and spread the entire steering wheel over the surface

I take the black corrugated paper and stick on the steering wheel

turn back and I cut off the corrugated paper leaving one centimeter at the edges

and now it turns out that's such a pretty face that smiles

but we also need to cut it

it turns out such a basis

Now we will glue these edges together on the hot melt glue towards the base itself.

on the edge I apply thermo glue with a thin strip so that it is not too much

and so bend in the direction of the base and so I glue on all sides

now i need to glue inside

for this, I make small cuts in different places

paper because it stretches in different directions

if we make cuts, then it is more convenient

and in the same way apply thermal glue and glue their side of the base

completely glue all edges on thermo-glue

after I pasted over from this side I turn the steering wheel and start to glue on the other parties

and after everything cut out

I also start to glue them with thermo glue

now cut a long strip is 2 centimeters wide

And I will paste this strip on the sides

I close all the irregularities of corrugated paper and ugly edges

on the inside, we also glue everything with a strip of corrugated paper

I get this completely pasted on all sides

Now I take the golden cord and these gold cord need to glue here such a contour

on the very edge I put a thin stick of glue and glue it to it

very neat on the edge

it is important that the glue is not visible at all

and so pasted all wheel in a circular

I glue the tip completely with glue so that the cord does not break

after it hardens i will cut it off

now scissors cut off butt up to the place where I started

and stick the cord to the end

around each cut part we also glue with gold cord

tip as usual, first glue with glue, let it cool and then cut off

Now it turns out that such a wheel is completely covered with its cord

Now I take candy and these candies I need to prepare for sticking to the steering wheel

for this, I take the candy, put a little glue on the tail and wrap it in the direction of the candy itself

doing the same thing with the second tail

I get such a sweetie without tails

so all sweets I hide tails and sell them that form

after i have some candy

I start to stick them to the base

First, one candy in a circle, one after another close up, I put candy

and now it turns out like this

now left to fill the center

I first put candies in order to understand how to put them

and after that I stick them

I'll have two candies at first

here, too, we fit two candies

I will continue to post 3 candies

and so i'm filling with candy

made along the contour, now smoothly go here and finish riding

and it remains to cover the top with candy

Now we take the sticker off and glue right in the center, just for candy

and everything, the wheel is ready

This is the composition we got with you as a result

Core Music Video Vox Pop - Duration: 9:29.

I enjoy classics through to more contemporary stuff, but I suppose I don't

know what I'd say was my favourite piece of music. I was heading for Bach this morning so

something like that probably, or good choral music. He so often gets into

people's subconscious with the feeling of the empathy of the music – I think

that's really important. I think you can get along with that and in the same

way listening to something like Eric Clapton which is very heartfelt...

Well, it's Bach's Chaconne in D minor played by Viktoria Mullova would be

the piece of music I'd take to my desert island with me. It's just one you can

listen to over and over and over again... Bach Chaconne... do you know it?

You've got to listen to it, preferably Viktoria Mullova

playing it, but Bach's Chaconne... it's about thirteen, fourteen... about fourteen minutes long.

It's absolu... it drives you to tears it's got an amazing arpeggio bit in the middle as well...

I love Freddie Mercury and I wish I'd been able to see him in concert.

I don't know, I just think he's such an entertainer, and all of his songs are

really good. He's got a brilliant voice. I like "It's a Kind of Magic", I think

because the reason I got into Queen was through watching a video. It was my

brother's video – he's a lot older than than I am – and it was "I Want to Break Free"

and of course I didn't realise that it was a music video – it was some kind of cartoon

thing – and then I think "It's a Kind of Magic" was probably when I was a bit older.

I like music that tells a story. There's

a particular Steve Earle song called "Me and the Eagle" and it's on an album of

outtakes that didn't make the other albums because it wasn't

considered to be good enough, but I think it's a fantastic song because it tells a

great story about a man living all on his own at the top of a mountain and

it's just very moving and beautifully done.

My favourite band would be from way

back. It started in the 60s, a band called Yes, started by Jon Anderson and Chris

Squire, and I've followed them and seen them I don't know how many times. I couldn't count

how many times. Favourite track... difficult to pick... "Awaken"... or possibly

"Close to the Edge" from way back in 1972.

20-minute track – absolutely fantastic piece of music.

I like a lot of modern music as well, a lot of newer bands, but

absolutely prog rock is the deal for me... and as you follow it through, well,

it's progressive. It gets better and better and better – the more you

understand what it's about the better it becomes and the reward

when you finally get this... Like when you learn a song at school. We did Joseph's

Technicolor Coat when I was at school – that had just come out – and we had a fantastic

music teacher called Mr. Bell who... did an arrangement, because he

couldn't get the arrangement; he made the arrangement around the words and we did

this at school, and when I was first learning it, I thought, "Oh God, this is

hard!" and I couldn't just remember everything. Each track went on and on

and on and as it all came together I just couldn't wait to get up and

sing it. Couldn't wait! And progressive music I find is very

much like that, and music is a bigger part of my life than any other media – than

television or any anything really. It's absolutely... y'know... without music,

what would you be? Where would we be?

My favourite artist in general is Willie J Healey.

He was the first gig that I went to see, which wasn't great timing because it was

in the middle of mock week... and you can tell because the two exams I had the next

day were not great! I just like really calm, chill music that you can

just listen to whenever. It's a much more personal experience when you listen

to them and you follow them on social media and you go and see them live.

I've always been a big fan of the Allman Brothers.

I'm a big fan of Duane Allman's guitar playing,

but I'm actually a big admirer of the other guy who was a guitar player in the band,

Dickey Betts, who kind of was overshadowed a bit by Duane, because Duane was

kind of the man, and there's obviously this legend around Duane because he

died early, but Dicky kinda wrote their really great numbers.

I've talked to a lot of people about the Allman Brothers Band. They say, "I've never heard of

them," and I say, "Yeah, everybody knows one Allman Brothers number and don't realize

they do," and you know the one I mean, don't you? Yeah? I say the original theme

tune off Top Gear. "Oh God, is that them?" That's what people say, you

know. "Oh yeah, what a fantastic piece of music,"... well, Dickie wrote that, and he wrote another

couple of my absolute favourite songs.

A song called "Blue Sky" which I just think is one of the happiest, most

upbeat songs, and it's a kind of number I always play

when I'm feeling a bit low... it just kind of lifts me!

My favourite genre is non-traditional traditional Scottish music.

Bands like Tidelines, Skerryvore.

Skippinish... I like them because they're

Scottish without the heedrum-hodrum!

The lyrics and songs tend to be more modern than the usual traditional Scottish music.

They follow on from bands like Runrig, but they've taken it to another level. They're very

sing-along-able, they're very young and energetic, but you can actually hear the

lyrics! Great, uplifting songs. The

three bands have actually come from the same Hebridean island background.

It's actually very difficult to narrow it down, because I like quite a

cross-section. I do like instrumental and classic guitar or typical classic radio

music. However, one thing that kind of stands out is a piece that might not be

so unknown: Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, and it's called "Nothing Without You", and it

is so inspirational because it touches something from inside. So I like music

that uplifts, that motivates, that makes you happy, y'know, so it could be kind

of fast, dancey... but this piece... it touches a sense of divine I think.

Favourite songs... I've got a complete mixture cos I like all sorts of music,

but "Mustang Sally" – Wilson Pickett – has got to be one of my favourites.

Anything dancey. "Heard it Through the Grapevine", but then "Whole Lotta Love"

by Led Zeppelin which is again completely different. James Brown, as

well, is another one, "I Got You (I Feel Good)" – brilliant song but I also like

the big band sound, you know, Glenn

Miller and stuff like that. I was born in the wrong era. I just love all of that "In

the Mood" and "Moonlight Serenade", all that stuff so... anything like that... and then

more modern stuff I like George Ezra and latterly Alexis Ffrench, a piano player. I

just [heard him] interviewed on breakfast and googled him and I loved the peaceful piano playing.

I suppose one... yeah... my favourite song is

"Songbird" sung by Fleetwood Mac because it's beautiful and it's sad and it's

gorgeous. Sung by them, though. "For you they'll be no crying" ... "for you

there'll be no more"... yeah, it's just a love song, just a beautiful song, that's all.

*sings* "For you, there'll be no more crying; for you, the Sun will be

shining; for I know that when I'm with you it's alright; I know it's right and

the songbird is singing like he knows the score and I love you I love you I love

you like never before..."

World News - Andi Peters SLAMS Liam Neeson by saying he 'better lock the door' - Duration: 4:50.

Andi Peters has weighed in on Liam Neeson's comments that he had a 'primal urge' to 'kill a black b*****d'

The TV presenter, 48, was speaking on Good Morning Britain to show anchors Susanna Reid and Piers Morgan, from a house in The Wirral, when he quipped: 'I'm the black man that everybody loves I hope

because I give away money and I give away loads of money.'But I'm going to lock the front door in case Liam Neeson's in the area!' Although Piers and Susanna laughed along with Andi's tongue-in-cheek comment, they later came to blows while debating it on the show

Piers had been raging about ex-footballer John Barnes, who had defended the Hollywood actor

Share this article Share Susanna said: 'No one is defending what he did. I think the focus should be on the experience of people who are at risk of this racist idea of collective punishment

'This is the first time my eye sight has been opened to that horrific racist experience

'Piers interrupted: 'What? That there might be racists who want to kill black people?'Susanna replied: 'In the media, not across my mind

That it's an every day experience.'Piers then asked: 'Why are you suddenly feeling that this has enlightened you? You don't think there have been racists out there who have had these thoughts?'Susanna said to him in a warning tone: 'Piers do not warp what I'm saying, I'm saying this is the first time we've discussed this openly on a programme like this

'The tense exchange lasted 10 minutes.  During an interview with The Independent to promote his new film Cold Pursuit, Neeson described how he walked the streets looking for a 'black b*****d' to kill after a loved one was raped

'But my immediate reaction was. I asked, did she know who it was? No. What color were they? She said it was a black person,' he said

'I went up and down areas with a cosh [a heavy stick or bar], hoping I'd be approached by somebody – I'm ashamed to say that – and I did it for maybe a week, hoping some [making air quotes with his fingers] "black b*****d" would come out of a pub and have a go at me about something, you know? So that I could kill him

' After the interview made headlines across the world, Neeson denied he was a racist but failed to apologise during an appearance on Good Morning America

Neeson said he 'understood' the hurt his words had caused but insisted: 'I'm not racist, this was 40 years ago

I had a primal urge. I was trying to show honor for a friend I dearly loved, in a medieval fashion'

The red carpet at the premiere of Neeson's newest film has since been abruptly cancelled amid fallout from the actor's comments

Organizers of the New York premiere of Cold Pursuit informed journalists that interviews and photo opportunities had been nixed on Tuesday afternoon, just hours before the event was supposed to start

The Lionsgate film's screening continued as planned however. However, there have also been calls for Neeson to be edited out of Men In Black: International - his forthcoming summer blockbuster alongside Chris Hemsworth

BEHIND THE SCENES The staging | BILLY BUDD - Norwegian National Opera and Ballet - Duration: 4:44.

Sometimes I think I'm only here to do what Benjamin Britten wants me to do.

And of course, I put my point of view into that. But I trust him completely.

He was born to make opera.

He had such an understanding of what it takes to make something dramatically true.

He wasn't afraid of beauty, therefore he's able to release emotions in us.

But at the same time with many psychological layers.

Britten was a genius in deciding to make an opera based on this naval world.

Of course a boat is its own planet, really.

The inhabitants are very much controlled.

It gives the singers and performers a reality to their relationships with each other.

And that is vital.

Billy Budd is a very interesting story, because we see some real hidden depths with all these characters.

I think we all have a personal connection to this work.

There is a core to this piece - a soul, in a way - that transcends the words and transcends the notes.

Good and evil doesn't always line up with what we define as right and wrong.

And that's the interesting part of this. It is a masterpiece.

It's just amazing. And finally it's coming to Norway.

It's a very special project to be doing here.

We repeat the same wonderful operas again and again.

To come across something that you don't know, it creates an energy in the room for all of us.

In the past, our technical crews in opera houses were full of sailors.

We have so many meeting points between theater and opera and the sea...

It's a very special set.

We're on a submarine and it's high and it's low, so it is a team work to keep everybody safe and -

cozy.

The director is there to empower the singers who make the story happen.

To hear these incredible Norwegian voices in our male chorus.

This beautiful, strong, gorgeous, stirring music... I find it very emotional actually.

I feel fantastic, I think it's going to be wonderful.

The cast is brilliant. The conductor is brilliant - don't tell him I said that.

I want to feel like I've created something that lives and breathes in its own way.

Something that is...

even bigger than what I have conceived it to be.

What happens when religion intersects with civic engagement? - Duration: 1:13.

Too many times we tend to show up if it's our issue

or if it's an issue that resonates with us,

or for some matter of convenience,

but we've got to do more to show up on universal issues.

Right is right; wrong is wrong

and then when we stand for what's right,

then we speak from a platform of principle,

and when we speak from a platform of principle,

that has the ability to unite folks in many,

many different ways and to create commonalities,

between people that previously might have seen division.
