Christmas Dinner At Philip Marie 🥂🥩 || Winter In New York [Episode 4] - Duration: 3:42.

Hello Deltadianos! Welcome to a trip. This time we are going to

to this Christmas restaurant.

It's call Philip Marie, let's try it. We bought a Groupon coupon

so let's see how it works.

The Philip Marie specializes in American cuisine combined with a wide selection

of international wines.

It is located in West Village, one of the most exclusive areas of New York and it's

on the corner of Hudson and West 11th Street. The nearest subway station is

on 14th Street on line 1, 2 and 3.

We arrived Deltadianos, it is just there. There you can see the Philip Marie.

It looks pretty, let's see how the food is. They are going to give us as a menu that we bought

so we will see how they surprise us.

In Groupon we bought a package for two people that included a glass of wine and a three-course

menu with value of $128 USD but we ended up paying $63 USD for it.

To start, Chef John P. Greco III prepared crostinis for us

one of salmon with sesame and another of mushrooms with gratin cheese.

It was delicious?

Then we tried the chopped salad that had lettuce, tomato and pickles.

This salad looks great, but the bacon is always good in a salad.

and mashed potatoes.

Mmm... It's unbelievable.

Although the coupon did not include dessert, we had to try them and we ordered

the hot brownie sundae à la mode

The restaurant exceeded all our expectations and was the perfect place to celebrate our

Christmas and New Year's Eve dinner

And Deltadianos, this was our romantically Christmas dinner. We celebrate Christmas, our anniversary,

New Year's, all in one day. I hope you liked it very much

Imagine 2 points in the middle of your upper and lower lip, and open the mouth by drawing a large oval.

The upper lip stretched against the teeth, place an index finger on the top of each cheekbone.

Repeat the movement 10 times.

Next, sift them in. Just hold like this and

sifting will make sure there are no lumps in the flour mixture

next use a spatula to fold in the flour mixture

scrap around the side of the bowl, then fold into the middle

slowly add in and spread the dough gently with back of your palm

don't spread the same place twice, spread different place until all the cookies are spreaded

then re-roll, and spread again until red color is evenly distributed

basically original dough doesn't need too much spreading.

but red dough spread abit more, just until the red color evenly distributed will do

stop immediately once they are even. Don't overmix!

now you got 2 colors dough

next, place them onto baking tray

on baking tray, place on baking paper

then i place a pair of chopsticks on each side, because the chopsticks are not even in height

thinner on one side and thicker on the other side. so i place 2 of each side (zig zag) to make them even.

place your red cookie dough on top

place in the middle

press a little. then place cling wrap

place on top of the dough, so that it wont stick

then take rolling pin. what it's called in mandarin?

Rolling in the deep (song~)

oh my...

then roll them gently following the thickness of the chopsticks

ok pretty

place both dough into the freezer for 15 minutes

thanks alot, my cook!

15 minutes' up, take the dough out from the freezer

gently peel off the cling wrap

the dough is hard when you touch it, then it's ready

take a round cookie cutter, place on top and stamp out the dough

cookie cutter is about 3 inch in diameter

then take 2 inch cookie cutter, place right in the center of the round shape

place accurately, you get to stamp once only.

repeat with the rest of the dough including yellow dough

Your heart cookie cutter cant be too big, or else your cookie will break

is it fine? /-ok

Once all stamped, use spatula to scrape up the cookie and

gently scrape it, as the dough is getting softer

if the dough is too soft, you can place the dough back into fridge before this

gently take out the heart in the middle

place white heart into red round, and red heart into white round dough

gently press a little to seal the edges of the dough together

red circle will have white heart, nice

repeat with the rest

ok, it's done. Time to bake!

bake in preheated oven 170C for about 20minutes

then re-roll, and spread again until red color is evenly distributed

basically original dough doesn't need too much spreading.

but red dough spread abit more, just until the red color evenly distributed will do

stop immediately once they are even. Don't overmix!

now you got 2 colors dough

next, place them onto baking tray

on baking tray, place on baking paper

then i place a pair of chopsticks on each side, because the chopsticks are not even in height

thinner on one side and thicker on the other side. so i place 2 of each side (zig zag) to make them even.

place your red cookie dough on top

place in the middle

press a little. then place cling wrap

place on top of the dough, so that it wont stick

then take rolling pin. what it's called in mandarin?

Rolling in the deep (song~)

oh my...

then roll them gently following the thickness of the chopsticks

ok pretty

place both dough into the freezer for 15 minutes

15 minutes' up, take the dough out from the freezer

gently peel off the cling wrap

the dough is hard when you touch it, then it's ready

take a round cookie cutter, place on top and stamp out the dough

cookie cutter is about 3 inch in diameter

then take 2 inch cookie cutter, place right in the center of the round shape

place accurately, you get to stamp once only.

repeat with the rest of the dough including yellow dough

Your heart cookie cutter cant be too big, or else your cookie will break

is it fine? /-ok

Once all stamped, use spatula to scrape up the cookie and

gently scrape it, as the dough is getting softer

if the dough is too soft, you can place the dough back into fridge before this

gently take out the heart in the middle

place white heart into red round, and red heart into white round dough

gently press a little to seal the edges of the dough together

red circle will have white heart, nice

repeat with the rest

ok, it's done. Time to bake!
