So I am here at very special place today because this weekend is my birthday
weekend and so I just checked into the wilderness... Fort Wilderness. We're
staying at the cabins, me and my mom. I'm going to pick her up later but I wanted
to give you a tour because we've never actually stayed here before and we've
stayed at Wilderness Lodge. I've come here to eat at trails end and
hoop-dee-doo before I'm sorry this is like really annoying but I really need
ice for my water. So it's super cute I just got here my mom is still on the plane
and I pretty much unpacked everything so I thought I'd show you guys. All right so
I started off at... is just one of the windows right beside the front door and
so you can see outside we actually have a little picnic table, but we'll start
this way first. So this is the bedroom area and it has a full-length mirror which is
super nice. Don't I look so woodsy today, nice. And this is another door that goes
outside but I haven't figured out how to unlock it like I keep switching this and
I know that's locked but I can't get the door open whatsoever. So we'll figure
that out later but this is the main bedroom area so we have the queen bed, I
think. Um I have always had a twin so I don't know what size everything is and
then we have our bunk beds here and it's a fairly small area but like it's
awesome. So I just have all my stuff thrown on my bed, we have these little
lights here which you just turn on and off there's also some lights on the top
and bottom of the bunk beds and I've twisted them and I haven't been able to
figure out how to turn them on yet. Then we have this little side table and
what's crazy to me is they actually have an alarm clock here and I'm not sure why
because they've been getting rid of them and all the resorts. And I don't know if
you guys do this but I unpack all of my stuff every time do I come to a hotel
just because it's easier... well Disney mostly just cause it's easier for me to,
like, get all of my clothes out so I just... it's just easier for me to get ready in
the morning. So this is the closet area and you guys can see I unpacked all of
my stuff, put all my clothes up on the hangers, all my bags. There's the safe
they have an ironing-- ironing board and iron and over here is a small area to
like get ready in the morning, so that's very nice. And
then a small window and then I don't think I ever showed you guys this. Celine
got me this Coco hat for Christmas so I brought that to possibly wear and then
there is a little TV in here which I have not turned on and then I put some
of my clothes in these drawers so I can get them out in the mornings. Did you
hear the ice going? And this is the bathroom area which I found to be like
really large but that's because we stay at values all the time.
So I took all my stuff out and just set it up here. They give you mosquito wipes
because you're in the wilderness. The sink, there's soaps I unpacked all the
stuff so like obviously that was in a package it wasn't just here you go. Your
towels, your trash can, and then a little window that's obviously like what is
that called when... the glass so you can't see inside, and then the shower is
massive which is really nice. I always have an issue with like hotel water. It
just doesn't wash my hair very well so we'll see how this goes. And this is the
main area so they have all these little hooks to put your bags stuff on which is
really nice that way I can just set my bag up instead of throwing things around.
And then this is the main area. So here is the dining table with three chairs
and then a... what is that called...a bench, a booth, kind of. There's a super cute
picture of a train going through the wilderness West its called Campground
Railroad Fort Wilderness from 1972. That's super cute and then the lights
here are actually design kind of like wilderness lodge. They have animals on
them and then all of the furniture is like wood... because the wilderness. We have
this nice comfy chair, another window, this would be like a nice place to sit
and work if you needed to. Then you have your phone, another window, then this TV
is massive. I don't know... I don't think I even noticed it - like right now that
I'm showing you.. why is focusing so hard.. there we go.
Yeah it's massive, but one of the reasons why I wanted to go ahead and do this one
is just because I wanted my roommates and stuff to come over for maybe Monday
night into Tuesday night, which is when my birthday is,
and we could watch movies and just hang out and have snacks and stuff.
And so I thought this would be the perfect spot, then we have a couch
and another little like footstool that you can put stuff on. And this couch
actually turns out into another twin bed... not a twin bed a full bed I think. So
yeah that way the girls and whoever else wants to stay the night can stay there
and then our kitchen is the coolest part so you can see it has top lights there.
We have a 4 slice toaster. I don't know why I would need 4 slices of toast but
you know. I actually forgot my bagels and I'm thinking about going back
and getting some from the house and we have this sweet sink and some stuff to
wash dishes. We have a dishwasher and then under here was the trash can and
stuff but I just moved that out here so it's easier to get to. I haven't really
looked in any of these cupboards so obviously you got pans and stuff I'm
assuming up here as like glasses... yeah and plates and whatever. We don't really
spend a lot of time--I mean we spend a lot of time in the resorts but we don't
really cook a lot in the resorts because we end up going to places to eat because
we want to try new things and so since I only live like five minutes away from
here it's like why would I just cook my own food when I could just do that at
home, you know what I'm saying. So we don't spend a lot of time bringing stuff
here but they do have this very nice microwave, a coffee pot, and then this cute
little stove. And then they give you some coffee. I did bring my own tea just
because I drink a lot. And then I brought my Klean Kanteen water
bottle and then the stainless steel fridge. And I went ahead and put some
water bottles in here for everybody else to have and then the freezer which I
just turned the ice on because I need ice in my life. Um so yeah that's pretty
much the hotel. I thought, well I think it's super cool. I'm so excited, this
might actually be my favorite one yet. I can't really tell you until I sleep on
the beds because that's one of the most important parts. But yeah, I haven't
really sat down and like tried to see if anything's super comfortable. I can tell
you that this is super comfortable. 'So yeah, I guess I'll kind of give you guys
an overview about what we're gonna do this weekend. I'm gonna bring my camera
with me everywhere. So this is a better lighting situation so I thought I'd
bring you to the side of the bathroom for this. So
yeah, it's my birthday weekend. My birthday is on Tuesday so my mom's
coming in today we are staying here at Fort Wilderness we're going to Ale and
Compass tonight which I might film a little bit and then I think we're gonna
stay a Yacht and Beach - it's at the yachtsman, by the way. I think we're gonna
stay on beach to watch illuminations, maybe we'll go to Epcot. I don't know, our
reservations at 6:45 and I think illuminations is at 8:00. The food
looks really good it looked really good for vegetarian so I'm super excited to
try it and then after that I think we're just coming back here. And tomorrow,
Sunday, we're actually going to Universal. Monday we're actually doing the wild
Africa Trek, which I'm so excited about! We get about half off for a cast
discount for Africa Trek and I've heard a lot of great things about it. I've seen
a lot of reviews for my friends who really loved it. I think it's a two and a
half three hour trek and our starts at 11:45 on Monday so if you guys have ever
been on Kilimanjaro Safari, when you're over by the alligators and they have that
bridge sometimes you'll see people walking across it. That is part of the
Wild Africa Trek. I don't know that much about it. I know there's PhotoPass on
there which is really sweet because I love photos and then we get snacks and
you know, you just get up close encounters with all the animals and
learn a lot of stuff. So I've only ever heard good things about it, so I'm very
very excited. It's gonna be me my mom, hillary, Celine and then her sister so
we're gonna take the GoPro on the trek and see if we can get any good footage,
which I will insert for you. And then Monday night I think we're going to
Epcot for Festival the Arts and the girls are coming back to the cabin for a
while to hang out and watch the movies and then Tuesday is my actual birthday.
So Tuesday we are having trails in at 9:30 in the morningm Brian's gonna meet
up with us for that. I think we're going to go to Magic Kingdom for the rest of
the day and just hang out and take some pictures and then watch Happily Ever
After from the beach to the Polynesian and then we actually have an Ohana
dinner reservation around 8:15 on Tuesday night and that's pretty much it.
There's a lot going on! Wednesday my mom goes back home and then we have very
special surprise, which I have already told you guys about, which I have
something else to show you! So I showed you guys in the last video, I told you
that Celine and Brian are getting engaged on the 24th. Whoa. There we are,
and we bought them some presents and stuff so we've been pretty much planning
this party for the 26. WHY? Hello? We've been planning a party for them on the 26th
or whenever they get back from their trip. Brian knows about it, Celine has no
idea so we've been inviting all of her friends. And kind of coming up with ideas
and getting decorations and stuff like that. So I was looking through Etsy today
to try and find like decorations or cute little things that we can add to the
party and I saw that someone was selling a Geo filter... a Geo filter, like, PNG, like
design that you could buy and use as your own geofilter. So you'd be able to edit
edit it and stuff and I was like I have never thought about that in my life, and
so I kind of clicked on it to look at it cause I knew you can make geofilters, but I
didn't really think that it would be like cheapish I guess? I thought it would
be super expensive and I thought only certain people could do it, whatever, but
then I went to the geofilter website and was looking at the requirements for
making one and you can do one for parties and I was like oh man this is
something we got to do. So I figured out how to do it. I figured out the parameters, I
opened my photoshop, and I was like why should I pay for a filter? I can just
make my own and do whatever I want and yeah! This is what I made... so super simple.
The screen looks really blue on this camera but I promise it's black, but we
just have this really nice gold outline and then it says January 24th 2018, which
is when they're getting engaged.Ccelebrating the engagement of Brian and
Celine. Yeah and then I went on the snapchat geofilter, I submitted it for a
time frame for our apartment, from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. So about 12 hours and
they approved it within an hour, so yeah! Isn't that the coolest thing? I had never
thought about it before and I thought it would be super expensive, it was only
five dollars to get this geo filter for our location for 12 hours, which I think
is just insane. I'm excited, I only told Hillary about this it's gonna be a
surprise for everybody else so when they're taking snapchats it's just gonna show up!
Yeah! I just thought that was super cool.
I'm gonna get that. Yo look at this bread!
