The Best Things Happens To Your Body When You Drink Moringa Every Day

Moringa is one of the most powerful plants on Earth, since it is a rich source of many

essential minerals and vitamins, like iron, magnesium, calcium, potassium, vitamins A,

B1, B2, B3, C, folate, zinc, and numerous important nutrients.

Moringa has 25 times the iron content of spinach, 17 times the calcium than milk, and 10 times

the beta-carotene than carrots.

Moreover, the leaves are abundant in potassium, iron, zinc, vitamins B and C.

Therefore, this amazing plant can help you boost your health in countless ways.

Here are the health benefits of its leaves:

Liver protection

The leaves of this plant are rich in phytochemicals like catechins, epicatechins and ferulic acid,

which boost the liver function and prevent liver damage.

Improved kidney function

This plant is a powerful detox and diuretic agent, which prevents infections and cleanses

the urinary tract.

It improves the function of the kidneys and eliminates the calcium deposits, preventing

the formation of kidney stones.

Digestive problems

They are high in fiber and isothiocyanates, so they treat digestive issues, and help digestion

in a natural way.

Diabetes

These leaves regulate blood glucose levels and prevent diabetes, according to studies.

Prevention of neurological problems

The Moringa leaves boost the production of dopamine, serotonin, and norepinephrine, which

support brain health, and prevent Alzheimer's disease.

The Making Of Lil Pump's "Gucci Gang" With Bighead | Deconstructed - Duration: 6:31.

The craziest thing about "Gucci Gang" is I made it at Record Plant.

The same studio back in the 70s where my dad was trying to audition for a band.

He stole the singer of that band's wife and now she's my step-mom.

Another funny part is that I brought a girl to that studio.

I didn't even make a beat yet.

I just took her to this lounge scene they have and got it poppin' back there real quick.

Then I went in the studio and then just started making the beat.

And I always tell my dad that and he's just like, "Okay."

As a kid, I just always wanted to do music.

I started getting into production when I was like 17.

I was listening to Wiz Khalifa 'Cabin Fever,' and I would always see "prod. by Lex Luger."

All them people.

I was seeing that they were using Fruity Loops so I just downloaded it on my mom's computer.

From there I just got addicted to it.

I stopped everything I was doing because I was staying up all night making beats.

I have to be in the right mood to make beats.

Sometimes I won't be in the right mood and then I think every beat sucks.

And I can't make beats without having a full outfit on.

Like shoes and everything.

Even if I'm in my house.

Because when I make a beat…

Usually I hate all my beats.

That's my problem.

So I at least have to have a good outfit on to feel confident.

Like, "Ok, I can do this."

The funny thing about Record Plant is that it has a basketball court in there.

And Pump, I already knew he wasn't recording that night.

He was just gonna play basketball.

So I was gonna make a beat there, I wasn't gonna waste studio time.

I like being in studios that's big and loud and nice.

I pulled up just some piano in Sytrus and that's a stock plugin which is funny.

And then I added this Gross Beat.

Every Fruity Loops dude and everybody that uses Gross Beat knows about the half speeding

thing.

And I half sped it but I don't want it all the way half sped so I turned it like halfway

off.

This is a little secret.

Instead of sounding so dry it sounded like this.

Makes it sound like more is going on right there.

You kinda still hear the notes I play but then it adds these random notes that hit off

each other.

The next thing I did after having the piano and I was content with the piano.

I went to DUNE and I found the sequence.

I felt like it was too fast and like, "Woah, too much is going on."

It was really fast.

And so I pulled up Gross Beat and just half sped it.

Then it sounded like this.

I was kind of just experimenting.

I found that sound and I just laid the note out.

And then I was like I'm going to put a gross beat just to see how it sounds.

They like added together perfectly.

So I was like, "Ok, that's sweet."

I didn't put too much thought into it.

So after I had the melodies laid out, I just moved on to hi-hats.

Like very simple.

Usually I'll always do that too.

I'll go melodies and then hi-hat and then clap.

And then I layered that clap with this snare.

After I added some percussion with the melodies playing.

I felt like, "Ok, it's sounding good. I got something."

It was going somewhere.

And then usually after I do the percussion and all of that, I add the 808.

It sounded good.

I felt like if I added too much more distortion or any EQ it would've been like overkill

so I kind of like it to have a cleaner sound.

The thing is I like having Gnealz around me when I'm making a beat because we collab.

He'll like hype it up better like, "Nah that's good. That's good."

Like motivation.

Like, "Nah, you're good."

And I was like yo, add something to the beat.

He switched up some of the hi-hats and then he added this rim.

It added like a little bounce because it was kind of like on the off beat of it.

The kick followed the 808 pattern pretty much very simple so didn't do too much to that.

I found a little open hi-hat and it's very simple.

That was pretty much the whole beat but it needed like one more melody.

Everything else sounded really low and dark.

Something in my head just popped up.

And I was like, "I wanna add this higher piano."

I feel like that part is stuck in people's brains.

So the last thing after the beat was laid out and I added that little high pitch piano.

Everything sounded great.

We added our tags, like every producer.

But then I remember this rise I always use.

That's all it is but it sounds like something epic is about to happen.

I always use that one.

I love that rise.

So with the whole beat, it sounds like this.

I knew the beat was done because Pump was like, "Yeah that's it. It's good."

So i didn't have to add anything and he knew what the hook was.

I rather make beats in front of the rapper on the spot.

It doesn't adds no pressure to me.

That's perfect.

And I don't care if you don't like any of the beats I end up making like, "Oh well."

"I'll come back another time."

But I always like doing it on the spot because I feel like when I'm by myself I add too

much sounds.

That one sounded perfect.

I can loop it forever and I would never get annoyed of it.

Everytime I went to the studio with Pump I always wanted to make him his biggest song.

That's my goal with like every rapper.

I want people to know that when you get a beat from Big Head, it's going to be your

biggest song.

'Cause like nothing is ever good enough.

I'll be like.

I'll set a goal and I wanna do this or whatever.

And then it happens.

And then it's like I want 10 of those.

Like I wanna fill the Billboard charts.

TD JAKES - PLANT YOUR SEED - Motivational Speech for 2018 - Duration: 25:45.

too many times we have put so much focus on teaching you to be good seed that we

haven't taught you the power of good soil and so when we come to Solis issues

the seed ignores the soil we flick the channel and has nothing to do with me we

close our eyes because we have been taught to be good seed but we have not

been taught to pay attention Jesus says the sole word for sowing seed and in

some fell by the wayside some fell among fellow monsters and look at your

environment

have you been positioned to flourish

positioning has a lot to do flourishing to be in an environment in a family that

supports to my sister and I were talking the other day I will tell her what an

amazing person she is that all of our lives together

and and all the things that God did in my life not once in all of the years

that I've known her and she was there when mama hardly have I ever known her

to be jealous of me not once not ever she has always been my cheerleader my

greatest fan and she said how could I be jealous of you you're my brother I said

a lot of people have siblings

I'm jealous of them good job

and some of my development has to be that God planted me the people that

supported me my brother my sister my mother my father they all supported me

you can have a good seed but if you've been in bad soil people who hated you

environments that denied you education that underserved you communities that

limited you mentality set poisoned you oh do you hear what I'm saying if your

soil wasn't right it doesn't mean that you're not right but if your soil wasn't

right it's gonna affect how you and how you will choke you out or the rocks will

not have enough so tell your roots to grow for something you ought to be

blaming the soil for you cannot take a peach seed and plant it in a teaspoon of

dirt and expect it to grow though the teaspoon of the dirt is the same size as

a peach seed it will not grow the seed will only grow when it is planted in

something bigger than itself and I want to know where are you

planning it this morning are you playing it is something bigger than you or have

you always been planted in teacups surrounded by little dirt little

resources people if enough people like me then I am how many people following

you on Twitter I got to get my following up I got to get my friends up because if

I have popularity who you got quite again if if let me show you how many

people follow me do you don't be subscribe so I am

because of who follows me who Laxmi popularity base identity ooh

performance based identity if you do this you'll be the front of God if they

like you you'll be the Son of God if I give you my possessions you'll be now

let me show you something I'm teaching just do it okay and yet I'm criticizing

doing it to define who you are well I'm confused should I do it a lot

good you did you just said just do it and then you turned around and said not

to define myself by what I do

can I protect my old texts which way is it

reven do I do it or not do it the problem is not about doing it it is why

you do it

what I am criticizing is putting the doing before the being so that you think

that if I do this I will be somebody if I bad this I will be somebody

if they like me I will be there you got it backwards the people that know their

God

and because you're doing doesn't come from the deeper place of being it hasn't

worked for you because you are who you are you can do what you can do but if

you're trying to find out who you are by doing things you will never find out who

you are by doing you'll have to start with being so are you giving I want you

to see this I don't want to lose you this because the difference between the

two determines the direction of your destiny if you're always seeking a

certain status to validate who you are you're never gonna have peace you have

to know who you are and then you can climb to the status you can't climb up

to find yourself you have to find yourself so you can climb up you can't

climb up to find yourself you have to find yourself so you can climb up so you

can be who you are before anybody knows who you are

so that means you could be rich while you broke

you could you could be healed while you sit you could be loose while you bound

it does not yet appear what Shelby but you got to be before you

always go to something bigger than yourself

I'm wondering if you've been defeated because you have been giving yourself

wholly to something that was too small to hold you have you thrusts yourselves

into a glass of water have you leapt off the diving board into a cereal bowl

person

are you not guilty of immersing yourself into things that were too small to hold

your vision oh my god they're so good I'm gonna get the CD myself Jesus sent

him to throw himself into something that was bigger than his condition and he had

to go to get to it he had to get out of his comfort zone my problem is so many

times you've thrown big ideas as small people

you've given big commitment to cereal ball people and you're trying to get

your sight back from a source that's too small to support what you're willing to

put in is your investment bigger than the bank you should see the way you're

looking at me it's your it's the reason you keep being disappointed by people is

that you have wholly thrown herself into something that was too

life's demand said you pick up the pace if you don't pick up the pace you're

gonna be left behind I'm amazed that the people that lack the flexibility to pick

up the pace they just get in a red I scroll down here and I'm gonna scroll

back I'm gonna stroll over here I'm gonna stroll over there one of the most

amazing thing about the disaster at Malaysia is that when it happened

everybody had to pick up the pace all the news media had to pick up the pace

they were booking night flights and flying over here flying over there

somebody had to work overtime won't be home for three days typing in the middle

of my research going on because when something happens that's why I can't

deal with people who cannot pick up the pace

don't be strolling when I got a 9-1-1 on you pick up the pace something's about

to happen pick up the pace something's about to happen pick up the pace

something's about to happen pick up the pace something's about to happen pick up

the pace something is about to happen pick up the pace something's about to

happen I came to tell the young people

the danger of low expectations

I would rather aim for the stars and not hit them then to not aim at all I would

rather go after it and not get it did not go after it at all I'd rather try

and fail did not try at all had I done more with my life I'm gonna go for it

come my destiny neighbors your destiny you can't stroll after your destiny you

can't walk after your destiny you got

since we're talking about business we're talking about money you can't beat

tribal and be a global thinker at the same time the reason money is called

currency said it needs to be able to flow and the issue is do you have a

vision that flows beyond people who look like you dressed like you and vote like

you and if you're gonna do business you can't do segregated business and do it

well if you've got a product that you believe in or message that you believe

in or a movie that you believe in or whatever it is you want to reach the

broadest amount of people and most people think probably all of their

relationships their contacts their associates are tribal and you block the

ability to succeed when you bought the ability to communicate beyond your tribe

but I kept down on my knees I was still believing broke I was believing lonely I

was believing

Chuck

just three Freeman tell me keep the faith keep the faith

if you lose the job keep the faith if you lose the spouse keep the faith if

you bury your child keep the faith to be planted is destiny conceal to have

increase is destiny reveal so when you plant a seed you don't plant it as if

the planting were the final destination you plant it and you can't see it

anymore it's destiny is concealed in the hopes

that ultimately it will become a stalk of corn or an apple tree or whatever it

was you plant it and in between the destiny concealed and the destiny

revealed is something we call watering

and I thought as dynamic as the text may be to grapple with the notion of being

planted and to grumble with the notion of having increase seems totally

irrelevant if we don't stop by the station of watering because watering is

the last step before increase it is a transition point between what is

concealed and what is revealed and without the benefit of watering this the

destiny will die in the ground never reaching its potential simply because it

has never been watered and I thought I would ask you this morning have you ever

been watered I'm reading somebody's mail right now you cannot embrace what I'm

about to teach if you don't understand that you have been planted you didn't

grow wild you didn't just happen you aren't just an afterthought you didn't

just come to be you were planted the sperm cell that created you out swam all

of the millions of other cells before you had a Bible before you had a Bible

before you had a heme book you are already in a fight and that cell

elsewhere of all the rest because you have been planted well I want to make

the distinction about being planted because the act of planting can be

confusing to the student who has not watched because planting looks no

different from burial

in order to do either one of them you got to do some digging and once you dig

down in the ground both of them are concealed but one of them has a destiny

and the other one does not you bury the dead to get rid of the body

but you plant a seed so that it can go through a transformation of coming back

up greater than it was when it went down oh good God

that's so good I'm gonna come over here and say it again when you plant a seed

you're not bearing it to get rid of it you're planting it so that it could go

through a metamorphosis and come back up better than it was when it went down how

many people in this room has come up better than you were

I'm better I'm better I'm better than it was when it went down it was good for me

that I've been afflicted for had I not been afflicted I would have never known

the glory of God I'm better for it I didn't like it but I'm better for it I

couldn't see down there but I'm better for it you said I was planted in a dark

place where my sight didn't work for me but I'm better for every time you go

through something dark and you can't see your way out remember you've been

planted not been buried and with you karma

I'm coming up I'm coming up brother right here on the come up and sit

brother right here on the come up is there any sisters in here on the come

up related families in here on the come up

are they any preachers in here on the Karma

you already been through hell already been through hot water already been

planted already been in a dark place but just cuz I'm in a dark place don't

expect me to stay in a dark place

write yourself a note I have not been buried I have been planted I may be

underground but I'm not buried in this mess I'm planted in it

I'm planted in it and if I planted in it expect me to come back up again and when

I come back up you won't recognize me because I'm gonna be transformed by the

experiences that I have to do friend that too many times we have been so much

focus on teaching you to be good seed that we haven't taught you the power of

good soil and so when we come to Solis issues the seed ignores the soil we

flick the channel that has nothing to do with me we close our eyes because we

These Squishy Batteries Are Made Out of Water, Here's How They Work - Duration: 2:44.

We humans are soft and squishy, and don't like electricity.

Robots are hard and pointy, and they love it.

So how do we make a robot that's soft and squishy like living things, but still gets

power?

Hydrogels of course.

Hard, metal robots are so 20th century.

"Soft-robotics" is hip.

Just like me.

Soft-robotics involves making technology that is similar to biological material, like we

often find in nature and within ourselves.

We want things kind of like us; soft, durable, waterproof.

And hydrogels cover all the bases.

But there's something still holding soft robots back from taking over the squishy parts

of the world ... Batteries.

Except, electricity and water don't mix.

Unless you're one, very specialized animal…

The Electrophorus electricus, commonly known as the electric eel.

If we can copy the technology that evolution gave the electric eel, then we can unplug

these organic looking creations, from dry land with "soft batteries!"

These strange long fish can generate electricity with an organ containing cells called electrocytes.

Electrocytes by themselves can't do much damage, but jammed up all together they can

give a shock of up to 600 volts.

By analyzing the eels, scientists realized the electrocytes are organized in long stacked

compartments with extra fluid space in between.

They looked at each component in the eel's electrocyte and mimicked the same idea into

alternating patterns of saltwater and freshwater hydrogels.

Saltwater, has salt in it, meaning it's an electrolyte.

Here, the red gels are filled with saltwater, and the blues are filled with freshwater.

At the points where they touch, the negative ions from within the saltwater flow towards

the empty freshwater.

But that's not enough to mimic the eel biology.

The yellow and green gels on the seperate sheet are filled with specialized fluid that

don't just let the ions flow willy-nilly.

Instead the yellow gels only let negative ions through, while the green gels only let

positive.

Together, these colorful gels move the ions in a specific direction, generating a voltage!

Voila!

Electricity from fluids, just like an eel!

By copying this soft squishy battery design, researchers hope to create soft squishy robots

that can be used as wearable technology, or in other natural environments, when traditional

batteries could get damaged or be too dangerous.

The thing is, you'll need a lot of these little cells to generate enough electricity

to do much with.

Right now researchers can only generate 110 volts from their soft battery, but they're

working on more…

And I'm 'eel excited about it.

For more science in your day, please subscribe to Seeker.

How close are scientists to the perfect battery?

Check out Julian's video here.

And one last fun fact, researchers also used origami folding techniques to minimize the

space needed for their soft battery.

Pretty cool.

Thanks a lot for watching!

January 2018 Goal RESULTS! - Weight Loss Journey Vlog #33 - Duration: 4:41.

How's it going YouTube & Facebook! My name's Chris Raynerson

and welcome to another video. In this video I'm gonna be doing

my January 2018 goal results. Did I accomplish my January goal? You'll find

out in this video. This video series I'm doing is me documenting my

weight loss journey on video from 323 pounds to 200 pounds (hopefully), so if you

really enjoy this video make sure you hit the like button and subscribe on

YouTube. If you're watching this on Facebook, hit the like button, share with

friends and family, comment down below any feedback or tips or anything

positive you have for me. Today this is Tuesday, February 6th, 2018 and it's time to

talk about my January goal. So my January 2018 goal was to be more and do

more positive things in the world. Now what I'm about to do, I don't feel is

really positive. But I don't know how else to give you guys

an idea I'm doing this goal so I'm gonna list you a couple things of

what I did that was positive and nice. I guess it could be fine

saying how thankful I am that all that I did... all these things... that sounds even

worse. Let's just get into this so number one thing I did was a help my friend

move. She moved a couple of weeks ago and I wanted to help her move so I did that.

Normally I probably wouldn't do that. Number two, help someone find their phone.

There's a woman who lost her phone at work like a week or so ago and I

helped it. I went into the security cam footage and tried to

find when she came in and where she drop it

and then we just looked for it and found it. We try calling

it as well. We found it. It was really good. That was number two.

Number three, I helped bench someone. This person needed help for her

workout and I don't really do that. I don't really like interacting with people at

the gym. I helped someone with that. I donated money

to the ACLU. Now it was only $10 because I'm not very rich, but there was a

story in the news like a couple of days ago... like a week or so ago... of a man;

he's dreamer. He has been in this country for 30 years or whatnot and

has a family; kids, a wife. They're all Americans and he's

a dreamer. He got deported and I felt super bad and super sad and I wanted

to somehow give back in any way. Trying to push good out into the

world when I heard that story. The only thing I could think of was the ACLU

so I donated $10. I know it's not a lot. I'm poor so you know, it's the best

I could do and I just really wanted to do that. The fifth thing that I did

was I sent my mother a personal video for her birthday. Her birthday

was a couple weeks ago, and I did a video on this channel where I

basically told you all of my very first memory of my mother and that's

kind of the story I told her. I told her that personally. It's just personal

three-minute video just to her because I couldn't be there for her birthday.

Last year I showed up to her birthday party

unannounced. Drove three and a half hours up north to do that and it was just for

one day. She was super surprised and happy and I couldn't do that this year. I

just couldn't do that so I decided to call her instead and to

send a personal video to her. After the video, I called her at work but yeah

she loved that video. I think I accomplished my January goal and more.

Doing more positive things in the world. Again this all sounds weird I have to

tell all of you all the positive and great things I've done but you know I

don't know how else you would know that I did this goal. So that's my January

goal. It means I have a new February goal which

we're already in February, but I will tell all of you my February goal

tomorrow in the next video. I will see you all tomorrow. See ya!

How To Understand Social Security - Debunking Common Myths (Part 2) - Duration: 2:16.

Hi!

This is Rob Young, owner of Blue Dot Wealth Management.

In the last video we dispelled two myths about Social

Security. One: that it was designed to replace most of one's pre-retirement income.

And the second, whether you'd have to pay taxes on social security benefits.

Today we're going to bust 2 more social security myths. The first one:

Full retirement age is at 65.

Most people think of 65 as their magic number for full retirement, and for a long time that

was the case.

However, because our life expectancy has increased since Social Security was introduced, the age

that hit "full retirement" has gone up.

If you were born in 1937 or earlier, your full retirement age was 65.

If you were born between 1937 and 1959, you will reach full retirement at age 66 and if

you were born in 1960 or later, you will reach full retirement at age 67.

Once You Start Taking Social Security, You Can't Change Your Mind.

I hear this a lot and the answer is...

Actually, you can.

There are many scenarios so I am only going to talk about one.

Let's say you file for benefits at 62 when you first become eligible.

Because you are claiming Social Security before full retirement at the age of 66, you get a 25% lifetime

reduction in benefits.

Let's say you flunk retirement and get a job that you actually want or you receive

a windfall and no longer need the money.

If you withdraw your application with the first 12 months of filing, you can pay back

the benefits you've received, interest free, and erase the 25% reduction. For taking your benefits early

When you finally do claim your benefits, you get whatever you're due at the age you apply.

I have a passion for helping people, so please subscribe to get notified when the next Financial

informative video is uploaded, and as always we're here for your individual questions

and attention.

So Floyd is Thinkin' About MMA Huh? - Duration: 4:04.

Ah man lemme find out that this nigga Floyd Mayweather is really as stupid as his trash

talking makes him seem to be.

With a recent video of the homie jumping into the octagon this dude got the whole Boxing/MMA

world talking again.

I mean if Floyd really thinks that he could last in a MMA fight then maybe the homie really

is that crazy.

What an event it would be if Floyd Mayweather really tries his hand in the octagon.

For a boxer who has the top 3 grossing boxing matches with his latest fight between him

and Conor McGregor taking the top spot there's no doubt that a fight between these two again

but in the octagon would become the world richest fight of all time.

The money that this dude Floyd could make would be stupid!

This past weekend Floyd Mayweather made it into town to watch the Super Bowl.

Shoutout to the Eagles!

But with everyone flocking into Minnesota for the big game it was only right that he

had a sit down with Showtimes top executive Steven Espinoza.

When TMZ caught up with the Showtime big boss and asked if this would be an 8 figure fight

homie looked at them like they were stupid, and said "Nigga please!

This is about to be a 9 figure fight!"

This nigga Mayweather's fights be producing more M's than a bag of Hersey!

I really hope that this fight goes down.

I for one know that I'm here for the fuckery no doubt.

And with a short list of potential fighters that Floyd could get into the octagon with

there's no doubt that everybody and their momma is hoping that he gets to fighting with

the homie Conor McGregor.

In fact the prospects of Floyd fighting Conor again has got McGregor so hyped that he had

to take to social media to express his excitement for a possible rematch by making one simple

post with his baby boy saying "Fuck The Mayweathers!"

This dude Conor is still a trip.

But again with Mayweather possibly throwing his hat into the ring to fight for the first

time in Mixed Martial Arts has got people thinking that he's bugging!

With a boxing record that is a perfect 50-0 people argue that Floyd clearly has nothing

to gain.

True.

But on the contrary Floyd also has nothing to lose.

A loss in the octagon got me thinking that a knockout won't affect his standing as

it pertains to the best boxer of all time conversation.

But if Floyd Mayweather were to actually bag an upset it would no doubt put him in the

conversation of best fighter of all time period.

When Ronda Rousey couldn't stop running her mouth about Floyd and his legacy all she

did was get her ass mother fucking knocked out.

And when Conor McGregor couldn't stop running his mouth about Floyd and his legacy all he

ended up doing is getting brain damage.

But call me stupid but I think this nigga Conor already had brain damage along time

ago fam!

But what you think?

Is this a fight that you would actually pay to see?

Do you believe Floyd is out of his mind with this one?

Did you ever respect the way the Floyd's boxing matches have gone as of late?

I mean even though his fights some times be boring as hell but if Floyd is to last 3 rounds

in the octagon let alone win the damn thing it would absolve him from all the running

around he did in the boxing ring throughout his career!

But you already know I Don't Have An Opinion, I Just Spit Faxx!

7 Frightening Facts about Fat Burners - Duration: 7:14.

Hi there, Paul from Ultimate fat burner.com here and today I'm going to hit you up with

not 3, not 5, but 7 frightening facts about fat burners.

If you have ever been tempted to try a belly fat burner for weight loss, you may change

your mind after watching this video. I'll be back

with all the gory details in the just a couple of seconds, stick around, don't go anywhere...

Alright, thanks for stick around. So let's dig right into these 7 frightening facts about

fat burners, starting with...

#1) Anyone with enough money to buy a capsule filler on Amazon.com can sell fat burners

online.

Yep.

I bet you thought that only big, reputable companies with labs full of researchers in

white coats were in the business of selling fat burners,

but that's definitely not the case.

now, That's not to say there aren't genuine companies that sell these products, but when

you buy online, unless you're buying from a reputable brand,

you could be buying from literally anyone.

What do you need to sell fat burners online?

A professional looking web site (which is super easy to do)

A capsule filler - which you can buy on Amazon.com

Some bottles - which you can buy pretty much anywhere

An injet printer and some labels and finally

Some bulk powder which you can sourced from a million different places, without ever having

to leave Google.

--

#2) Your Fat Burner Might be Spiked with Prescription or Illegal Drugs.

Yep. A recent research letter published online in Journal of American Medical Association

Internal Medicine showed that over half of the major drug

recalls in the U.S. were not for drugs, but for dietary supplements that contained illegal

drugs.

The three most popular supplement types likely to be contaminated?

Sexual enhancement aids, body-building supplements, and yes, you guessed it, weight-loss products

like fat burners.

--

#3) Your Fat Burner May Not Contain What it claims to Contain

Believe it or not, there's no regulatory agency that periodically checks fat burners and other supplements for label

compliance.

Or in other words, checking that what's listed on the label may not actually be in the bottle.

As an example of this, in the spring of 2015 GNC, Target, Wal-Mart and Walgreens were accused

of selling fake herbal supplements.

Fake, in that in some cases, the products tested didn't actually contain ANY of the

ingredients on the label.

ConsumerLabs.com, which does independent testing of nutritional supplements, routinely finds

products of all sorts that fail to meet their label specifications.

--

#4) "Clinically proven" means absolutely ZERO when to comes to fat burners.

When the term clinically proven is used to describe a fat burner, the retailers are either

lying outright (since people rarely check on this) or the

term is being applied to select ingredients in the formula, which more often than not,

are only included at a fraction of the dosage demonstrated

effective in the referenced study.

99 times out of a 100, the product itself has NOT been clinically proven.

--

5) Doctor Formulated Weight Loss Products Are Just As Bogus

Medical doctors are very respected, so online retailers like to use stock photos of doctors

and other medical professionals on their sales sites to add credibility to their claims.

Some even go so far as to claim their products are doctor formulated or doctor recommended.

So are these recommendations true?

1) Sometimes they're lies - online retailers know people rarely check on this stuff, so

they can get away with lying about it.

2) Sometimes, the retailers will pay someone who can legally call themselves a doctor to

endorse the product (a chiropractor, naturopath, Ph.D., etc.)

3) Sometimes, Very rarely, the product is actually doctor formulated.

That doesn't mean it's any more effective. for example, consider...

Sensa tastants, which were developed by Dr. Allan Hirsch. Sensa was fined US$26.5 million

in 2014, for deceiving consumers with unfounded weight-loss

claims and misleading endorsements.

And that's in addition to the $6,000,000 class action suit that was filed against them.

So yeah... 99 times out of a 100, doctor recommended weight loss products are just as bogus as

anything else. When was the last time you saw your

doctor and he or she recommended anything other than eating right and exercising?

Yeah.

--

6) Testimonials don't mean very much

Why?

In a nutshell, even if a testimonial is a 100% authentic, it's not evidence of effectiveness - it's called anecdotal evidence

because you don't know what else that person may have

done to obtain the results they're claiming. The even bigger problem is that there is no

way you can be sure ANY testimonial is authentic.

That's a problem anywhere, but it's huge problem on the Internet, because it's easy to buy

testimonials - even video testimonials - so even if

you're seeing a real person on video talking about they're amazing experience they've had

with a product, it doesn't mean they actually ever used

it.

--

7) Free trials for fat burners are always a scam.

Why?

Well, because the trial is never really free.

You have to use your credit card to pay a small shipping or handling fee.

This doesn't make much sense when you think about it.

Why would a retailer be happy to ship you a a $60 product for free and then ask $3.99

for shipping?

Trust me... it is not because they want to cover their shipping costs. They need your

card so they can add you to an auto-ship program.

That's a program where you get shipped a bottle of product each and every month and your credit

card is billed some outrageous amount.

Even if you are aware that the free trial leads to an autoship program - and often the

retailers are not up front about this - they don't tell you or they hide that information where

it's hard to find, the deck is stacked against you. For example, a retailer might offer a

14 day trial of their product, but in the fine print

they request you cancel at the 10-day period, which is entirely counter intuitive.

Or they offer a 10-day trial, and the trial starts the day you place your order, not the

day it shows up on your doorstep. So when it arrives

you're already half way through your 10 day trial, and by the time you finish the product,

you're added to the autoship program.

Either way, this is a game where you will always end up the loser. So please... if you

see a free trial offer for a fat burner, run, don't walk away.

Laserdisc's Failure: What Went Wrong - Duration: 18:06.

In the last video, we took a look at the early history of Laserdisc.

If you haven't seen that, you can find a link down below or up there.

In short, Laserdisc was the first optical storage format, storing analog video on 12

inch reflective discs, and it was released at the end of the 1970's.

Featuring many of the noteworthy features of DVD, it may seem surprising that it didn't

become that popular.

It's market adoption barely reached 2 percent of videocassette recorder sales in North America,

and was even worse in Europe.

Its most successful market was in Asia, but even that wasn't fantastic.

Only 10% of Japanese households had a laserdisc player, and Japan was considered the healthiest market.

In this video, we'll find out why Laserdisc just sorta stayed in the background its entire life.

Let me begin by saying that the problem is more nuanced than simply, they cost too much.

Because initially, laserdiscs were far cheaper than videocassettes.

And it's also more nuanced than laserdisc's inability to record.

I began the previous video with

--A product with an unknown purpose that was both a few

years too late and way too far ahead of its time--

Those statements are interrelated, but let's start with the first one - an unknown purpose.

To understand that, you need to put yourself in the mindset of a consumer in the mid 1970s.

At that time, there were essentially two types of media you could purchase to consume at home.

Print media--that's books, newspapers, etc,--and music.

For nearly a century you could purchase music to play on a phonograph, and indeed this was

the first way we could listen to music at home.

(Static, buzzing, and tuning sounds)

(through the radio) Radio came later, providing a source

of free, nearly continuous programming.

But radio was a fleeting thing, and unless you had the patience to record a broadcast

with a tape recorder, go back and find the songs you actually want, dub them onto another

tape (which requires a second tape recorder), and then finally enjoy music uninterrupted,

you would just buy the album from your favorite artist on disc to play at home.

Indeed radio was pretty much how new artists were discovered and albums were sold.

Some of that still happens today, but we all seem to use streaming services or other, ehem,

means of getting our music on-demand.

Anyway, due to the short nature of musical radio content--generally only three minutes

or so for a song--the programming on a radio station wasn't usually organized beyond

an hour of such-and-such music.

Maybe you'd have a host for the afternoon drive, but the content being broadcast

would repeat multiple times during the day, as after all what's popular is popular.

This created little incentive for a radio listener to record the broadcast, which again

made the sale of music in record stores a logical, convenient thing.

This was especially true for less popular genres of music, where it would be rare to

hear it on the radio anyway.

For all these reasons, the consumer of 1975 was used to buying record albums to play at

home, and indeed wanted to.

Now if someone wanted to watch moving pictures, and I'm being deliberately vague here, they

had two options.

For long-form content, you would go to the the-a-ter to watch the newest releases.

Movies were obviously not a new thing in 1975, and the way you watched them had been the

same for many years.

A film was a thing you went to go see once, maybe twice, and wasn't something you would

expect to see at home over and over again.

Only the wealthy and eccentric would shell out the cash necessary to purchase a 16 millimeter

film projector and prints to go with it, with a true 35 millimeter projector and films being

the unobtanium of home entertainment.

Television was another story, though.

By 1975, more than 70 percent of households in the US had a color television.

But unlike music, which could be heard for free through the radio or as desired when

purchased on disc or tape, television was only a broadcast technology.

The viewer of a television had no control over what was being shown.

All you could control was what channel to tune into.

Movies were often broadcast on TV too, with a generous amount of commercial breaks peppered in,

but you still had no direct control over what to watch.

You were limited to what was offered.

But that was about to change.

By 1975, the public had been teased many times about a videodisc system which would revolutionize

the television experience.

RCA had been developing their videodisc since 1964, and Phillips had demonstrated an early

laserdisc prototype in 1969.

These companies along with others were trying to adapt the familiar concept of a record

player into a video player.

And they weren't shy about it.

You'll be able to buy video records, with movies, cooking classes, and all sorts of

new programming.

Imagine, television when you want it!

Keyword: Imagine.

While this certainly was a neat idea, it likely didn't resonate with many people.

To compel a consumer to purchase a videodisc player required you to convince them to buy

into a new kind of media.

It's not as simple as a new format, we're talking about something foreign.

It's an entirely different kind of content, all together!

(In unison) It's an entirely different kind of content.

No one had yet experienced what would come to be called home video.

It simply wasn't a thing.

The videodisc was a classic case of a solution in search of a problem.

Which brings us to the second issue.

It was too late.

Though the concept had been around for more than a decade, it took until 1978 for it to

be introduced, and it wasn't available nationwide for a couple of years.

But three years before Discovision came onto the scene, we got our hands on a different

technology which actually had a problem to solve.

Unlike radio programming, television shows took up a large chunk of your time, and were

far more immersive.

They were also scheduled, occurring on a known channel at a known time.

Generally, these shows were broadcast once a week, with over a dozen episodes produced

in a year.

The continuity, character development, and other serial aspects of the shows compelled

the viewer to watch every week, and missing your favorite television program was a severe

disappointment.

If only there were a device that could keep that from happening…

Enter the videocassette recorder.

In 1975, Sony released the Betamax system, and JVC followed with VHS a year later.

I'm not going to cover the format war between those two formats because I have already in

previous videos, but at this stage in the timeline, the format war was irrelevant.

And yes, there were earlier, unsuccessful systems, and I know about Video 2000, but

the existence of a VCR of any kind is what matters.

These machines promised to change how we watch TV.

If you were gone, you could tape your favorite shows using a built-in timer.

And if there were two shows you liked that were on at the same time, you could tape one

and watch the other.

The videocassette recorder had a problem to solve.

And it was perfect for the way television programming worked.

You knew when your show would be on thanks to the TV Guide, and there was an incentive

to not miss any episode of your favorite shows.

It sounds silly because TV is after all unimportant in the grand scheme of things, but the VCR

was seen by many people as a potential way to free up their schedule.

The act of recording a show to be watched later was called timeshifting, and that was

what sold VCRs.

If you had a VCR, it took the limitations of a format you were used to, that's television,

and removed them.

It solved a problem.

Now, here's where many discussions on the failure of Laserdisc get hung up, I'm looking

at you Simon Whistler.

When you look back to the beginning of the two formats, you'll see that they were meant

to be used completely differently.

Take a look at early advertisements for these machines, and you'll see that Laserdisc

wasn't really ever competing with VHS or Betamax.

This ad for this machine describes it as a turntable.

A VIDEO turntable.

And an excellent one at that, making pictures better than TV itself!

But you have to buy your video records, and the ad from 1981 shows that there are a whopping

120 to choose from!

Ah, that's so many!

Look at an ad for any VCR in the late 70s or early 80s, and you'll see it takes a

different approach.

This add for the RCA machine's 4-hour brother talks about television shows you want to put

on tape, and touts how easy it is to program it so you won't miss a thing.

You don't find anything about pre recorded tapes you can buy.

That's because the VCRs of this time period essentially predated modern home video.

The videocassette recorder wasn't being marketed as a device to play a pre-recorded tape.

Content distribution of that kind wasn't a thing yet, in large part due to the high

cost of producing video cassettes.

That's right, here's another thing in the saga on Laserdisc that gets overlooked.

The idea behind videodiscs in general was that they could be mass-produced quickly and cheaply.

Since they are stamped like vinyl records, with RCA's ill-fated CED system literally

being a vinyl record, the discs could be made pretty easily.

From an ad linked in the description, the original cost of Discovision titles was intended

to be $5.95 or $9.95 for half-hour and hour long titles, respectively, with new feature

films priced at $15.95.

Adjusted for inflation that may seem pricey, but considering the price chart from Popular

Mechanics shows the cheapest one-hour BLANK VHS tape

--that's blank, with nothing on it--

going for $16.95, you get a sense of why the disc was considered better for content

distribution.

The tape used in videocassettes was a brand new, very specialized fine particle tape.

It was expensive to produce well over 200 meters of the stuff for each cassette.

And to mass produce pre-recorded video tapes in a meaningful quantity would require hundreds

of separate videocassette recorders, each spending the entire runtime of the program

being recorded to actually produce a duplicate tape.

One machine could make dozens of laserdiscs per hour, whereas one video tape duplicator

would take more than an hour per tape.

And the laserdisc players were cheaper, too!

That same chart shows the cheapest VCR costing $995.

This magnavision player started at $699.

And it doesn't seem as though that cost was subsidized by potential profit from selling

discs, as Philips/Magnavox and Discovision were separate entities.

So then, say you're a consumer in 1980 deciding between these two machines.

The Magnavision is touted as having stereo sound and an incredible picture, and there

are exciting interactive possibilities to go along with it.

But there's not a lot of content you can watch.

You'd save a few hundred dollars buying it, but once you've purchased 20 or so movies,

you'll have spent all that anyway.

The long-term cost of ownership doesn't really add up.

The VCR, though, is a somewhat mature technology.

You know people who use them, and they love them!

And while this machine is more expensive, and so are the tapes, you can't see yourself

needing more than one tape.

You still aren't sure you need to save a TV program after you've seen it, after all

that's not been possible before, so after you've watched the shows you missed that

week, you can re-use the same tape.

Who cares if it's more expensive so long as it's reusable?

If you buy the Magnavision machine, how often will you really use it?

You'd have to be buying a disc every day to get serious use out of it, and that'll

get expensive fast.

Sure the frame-by-frame and slow-motion features are a neat gimmick, and the possibilitiy

of an art encyclopedia is kinda cool, but that will only occupy a few hours of time.

You're pretty sure you'd get bored with it, and need to buy another disc.

You know you'd use the VCR at least once a week; M*A*S*H and Mork and Mindy are on

at the same time, and you've always wanted to watch both.

Plus, you can never stay up late enough to watch Johnny Carson.

Maybe you'll use it daily.

Sure it's kinda ugly and clunky, but who cares if it does its job?

Do you really need the better picture of this machine?

You only have a 19 inch television at home, who knows if you could even see the difference?

And who really needs stereo sound for TV?

Nothing on TV's in stereo anyway.

And I doubt you'll rearrange the living room just to have this machine play through

your hi-fi.

See the problem?

A Laserdisc player was a technological marvel with some neat tricks up its sleeves, but

its lengthy development time caused it to be released after videocassette recorders.

If Laserdisc had been available, say, in 1970, I don't think it would have struggled like it did.

Without the existence of a videocassette recorder, the idea of buying content to watch on your

schedule might be more appealing.

After all, you've been doing the same thing with music for decades, and there would be

nothing else to allow you that sort of flexibility on your TV.

But with the VCR already on the market, suddenly the Laserdisc has to convince buyers to forgo

timeshifting capabilities for cheap-to-own movies.

Which again, was an odd proposition to many consumers of the time, having never been able

to own a movie before.

The idea of owning movies was also a foreign idea to movie studios.

They had never before needed to think about how to sell their content for mass home consumption.

Laserdisc was trying to start an entirely new market category: that of home video.

With MCA backing the Discovision format, their catalogue of content could easily be licensed.

But Discovision would face challenges when trying to license other content.

Movie studios were understandably reluctant to sell their catalogues of movies to a company

like Discovision.

Before home video, it wasn't uncommon for older movies to be released in theaters again.

The movie studios were used to charging essentially per-view, and a home video solution goes entirely

against that.

The issue of licensing was further complicated in the disc realm by competing standards and

confusing branding.

With the development of their CED system, RCA was hard at work convincing movie studios

that they should license their content to RCA.

This might have limited the content available to Discovision if any exclusivity clauses

were added to the contracts signed.

It was also frustrating to consumers, as they didn't know which disc system would be better

supported with content down the road.

And even among Laserdisc players, Magnavox continued to refer to this as Magnavision,

even though the discs you could buy were called Discovision

and the format had been christened Laservision

by this time.

This fear and confusion probably kept a good number of videodisc players on store shelves.

Thus began a chicken-and-egg problem.

Buying a laserdisc player in the early years meant buying into a system with limited content.

This kept sales low.

Which meant there weren't a lot of people with players.

Which meant the movie studios couldn't make much money selling discs.

Which meant there wasn't much content, which kept the sales of players low, and the cycle continued.

But videocassette recorders didn't have that problem in the slightest.

Going back to our ad, you'll remember that pre-recorded content isn't mentioned at all.

That's because, this wasn't their primary purpose.

Time-shifting was what you did with a VCR.

It didn't have anything to do with buying a movie to watch over and over again.

Who would want that?

But plenty of people would want to record their TV shows while they weren't at home.

That was an idea you could get behind.

As more and more people purchased a VCR, suddenly there was a large installed base of devices

that could play a pre-recorded tape.

And now there was a place for home video.

Tapes needed to get cheaper to manufacture, and duplication facilities needed to mature.

But once those things happened, it became easier for movie studios to get behind the

idea of selling their movies for watching at home.

Especially their older and classic films which wouldn't make too much money with a new

screening, but might turn a decent profit on home video.

Now that home video was an established business, buying a laserdisc player made even less sense

to the average consumer.

What was the point of buying another machine when I already have a VCR, now that the big

movie studios are all releasing their movies on VHS and Beta?

And to be honest, Laserdisc was an inconvenient format.

Pretty much every single movie is longer than an hour, so you're guaranteed to have to

flip the disc over.

And if you push into 2 hours, you'll need another disc.

VHS and Beta were largely immune to this, though very long titles would push onto a

second cassette.

And then there was the rental market.

Videocassettes may have cost more to make than laserdiscs, but many people weren't

buying them, they were renting them.

A rental store owner would make the cost of the tape back many times over, so the high

cost of the purchase wasn't that impactful.

And cassettes made more sense for rental, as their design is inherently less fragile.

The tape does wear out over time which Laserdisc was (at least they thought) immune to

--it wasn't!--

but any surface scratches on the surface of a Laserdisc would immediately harm

the image quality.

And the smaller, chunky nature of a videocassette was easier to transport than the flat, large

size of the laserdisc.

As years passed, the videocassette received the benefits of economies of scale much more

than Laserdisc did.

Though it should be noted that the price disparity between laserdisc and tapes continued for

some time.

There's a clip on YouTube of Siskel and Ebert and the Movies, and in it they discuss

how the film Running on Empty, released in theaters in 1988--

"that came out at 89.95 on tape, but 24.98 on disc"

--But they also noted that at this time, movie studios were

beginning to sell cheap tapes.

Paramount had been releasing some films on tape for $14.95 with some bargain tapes going for $9.95.

The trend of tapes continuing to get cheaper would go on, and Laserdiscs wouldn't get

to join in on that.

At this point, it might seem that Laserdisc would be doomed.

Being beaten to market by a device which could record really hurt its chances, and once the

movie studios had started offering their content on VHS and Beta, buying a second device just

for watching movies didn't make tons of sense.

But Laserdisc didn't die.

It clinged to life until 2000, co-existing with DVD for 4 years.

It was the collectors market, and to a lesser extent the education market, that saved them

from a complete death.

Those who bought Laserdisc from the mid 1980's onward largely did so for reasons of quality

and exclusive content.

In the next video, we'll look at how Laserdisc evolved over the years into the pinnacle of

home entertainment, and we'll also look more closely at the features--and follies--of

the format itself.

Wheat Ridge Cyclery Bike Shop and Interview with Ron Keifel - Duration: 4:13.

hey folks I'm here at Wheat Ridge Cyclery in Wheat Ridge Colorado and I'm

about ready to go inside and interview a cycling legend Ron Kiefel of the famed

7-Eleven cycling team his father Eugene started Wheat Ridge back in 1973 with a

tiny to 750 foot square building it's gotten a little bit bigger since then

let's go check it out! Tell me a little about the history and again a quick history of it started

with your dad yeah my dad was a bearing salesman he traveled around yeah so he

decided he wanted to have his own business it was just a little hole in

the wall 750 square feet and he brought in myself and my two sisters so now

we're at 30,000 square feet we have in the summer time 65 to 70 employees

speaking of the shop did it inspire you to start riding or was it more of a

great support vehicle for you to continue that pursuit? No, I discovered

cycling through the bike shop. My dad bought the bike shop when I was 13 there

was a mechanic here at the bike shop his name is Bob Joney. Bob took me out and

said oh hey you're pretty good you want to try bike racing ? First bike race I

crashed 300 meters before the finish line and I just fell in love with this

sport. There's evidence of Ron's passion in every nook and cranny! This shop has

got an incredible memorabilia collection. Are there are certain pieces that stand

out? or did you get questions in particular of...Well people like you know

like the old steel bikes. like we have this you know one of the Eddy Merckx's

you know this is the stuff that we rode and so there's just you know

people are just curious what's it like and what was it... even the shops heritage is on full

display! Even the shop has some history Yeah, we have some of our original we

sponsored a BMX cycling team we've made jerseys all along almost every year and

so we have some of those displayed.. 25th 35th 40th anniversary and Ron loves

sharing his experiences with customers Do you get customers I'm walking to say "Is Ron

here? Can I meet him? Yeah, Yeah, I do get that and I love to come down and meet people and

it's fun just to hear people's excitement..people that are they've been

inspired by something that you know that I've done or Davis (Phinney) has done.. Andy Hampsten. If Ron's career and

the shops history wasn't enough Wheat Ridge's service is out of this

world! Your approach to service can you tell me about that we have service

writers bring them in put the bikes on the stand do a pretty thorough check to

give customers a sense of what they can do or should do in the back we have 15

work stations. "You heard him right 15!" The service department is segmented with

the service writers.. the spot guys which do everything, the quick work

and then the mechanics that do the overhauls and the suspension tunes. Bike

fit lab? How about a bike fit wing?! You guys have a pretty intensive fit process

from the Retool. When I retired in 95 that was one of the things that kind of

really brought in was the fitting components into our business. When Andy Pruitt

He came in and started developing this protocol so then we grew with this

bike fitting so now we have the Retool that we can do custom you can dial in

positions really well. We have a fit assessment area where we come in and

we'll check your flexibility what issues you have so..when we get you on the

bike we can get you as comfortable as you can. No wonder their service and

support is so extensive. With a vast inventory of Specialized, Trek and many

other brands and an apparel selection to match it's easy to see how Wheat Ridge's

reputation reaches far and wide! We have a good

relationship with our customers our biggest growth has been through

word of mouth. We're all about enhancing people's lives through cycling here at Wheat Ridge Cyclery

that's kind of how we built this business. A first-class shop with a

true cycling legend! Just 20 minutes northwest of downtown Denver. Wheatridge

Cyclery. You gotta check this place out! "Thank you

I really appreciate this! Thanks Ron. Your'e Welcome Anthony."

Jean Guegant - Meta Crush Saga: a C++17 compile-time game - Duration: 30:08.

So I made a compile-time game that I named Meta Crush Saga and it was a pet

project I made last summer and I really wanted to share with you the learnings I

had from that project about metaprogramming about C++ 17 so we will

dive into that. First what do I mean by a compile time game? I think to understand

that, we should take a look at the life cycle of a standard game and we will

compare it with the life cycle of a compile time game. So, for a standard game

you usually start by writing the source code of it which you compile and this is

giving you an executable. That executable you can start it which will spawn a

process and within this process usually you have a kind of a game loop that we

will run the logic of the game. This game loop is rendering, updating, rendering

updating, again and again and again... And, to be able to react from the

player you need to give the player inputs to the update function.

So what would be the life cycle of a compile time game? We still need to run

some kind of game logic so we still have some source code to run that logic and

we will compile again. But this time instead of just compiling we will also

run the game logic within the compilation phase, within the

compilation step. And this is possible in C++ 17 using constexpr or template

metaprogramming which kind of permit you to interpret some code at compile-time.

Since we are compil... computing... the new state we also need to inject the

player inputs at that point in time. This is going to give us an executable and

since most of the logic has already been compute within the compilation phase, this executable is going to be very simple. It has only one

responsibility which is to output the state of the game and it's gonna output

it in an ASCII format. It's a one-shot process there is no loop inside this

executable, it just outputs the game state. Alright, so we have some kind of

way to do some game logic but that's not very interactive we need to have some

kind of loop to play this. How could we make this into a loop? Well, we will

just copy the game states, put it into a file (let's call it current state) and

combine it again with the source code. By combining both of these we have

enough information to compute the next state of the game and this is

a game loop. That's my game loop. Funny isn't it? Funny... but you will still ask yourself

a question why would you even do that? Or what the... what the hell! [Because we can]

It's a tricky question and I prepared some tricky answers

First it's blazing fast; there is almost no real time, everything

is done at compile time. Great! It is very safe you cannot allocate memory at

compile time. No dangling pointers or things like

that. If you like cryptic languages, that's something for you. And it makes

you a very good over engineer I would say.

When you are in Sweden sometimes it feels a bit cold you know, so warming

yourself with your CPU might be a nice idea. What I'm trying to say to you is

that doesn't make any sense right? This is just not a very good idea in

industrial project but I was inspired I was inspired by this guy mad journey a

very smart guy who made a nibbler at compile-time oh

don't want is for you so it's a kind of a snake game that he

made using C++ 11 and template metaprogramming and I want you to do the

same I am working on candy crush so I want you to do the same but in C++ 17 it

was kind of a bet also with my colleague and the C++ should always be an

inspiration for you so that was my inspiration so maybe the question that

you should ask yourself is not why would you even do that but how could you even

do that how is that possible to do this in

cyberspace well it's possible because you have some features let's permis you

to do this and doing that kind of pet project maybe it doesn't make sense at

work but it makes sense to explore these features so C++ 17 meta programming it's

kind of fun to do it by doing a game well it's also a nice way to prove that

tsipras process multiple to incomplete languages within itself we can compute a

game we can compute anything I guess so if you want to take a look at my project

you can go and get hub and take a look at the source code of it some part of it

will be a bit different I try to simplify things in the slide and also

have noticed some some things that could be made in better way so I will try to

update my code later on I think it doesn't work some distance is 7.2 it

only works on GCC 7.1 right so that's my game looks like candy crush maybe a bit

it's a bore you have some items you need to swipe them to increase your score

simple so I'm not going to be saying too much about the rules that's not super

interesting but it's just like you use what things you match them increase your

score and get happy so the rules are not interesting but the architecture is

quite quite interesting and we will try to dive into each part of this

architecture not too much it might be a bit scary so

just dive enough to understand how does it works so first how do we combine this

file current state with this was code

when I say to you that I was copying the game state into ASCII file I was lying a

bit to you it's not just the game state it's actually a raw string literal so

this big our notation is says that this is the raw Stringham even though I'm

breaking lines this is still part of the of the string how do I combine that

simple I have a loop inputs file header file which contain all the inputs

necessary for running one step of the my game loop so at the top I'm getting the

keyboard inputs as a macro preprocessor macro and the game state is just an

include preprocessor come on yeah come on that I put into a variable that I

named game state string so the it is just as simple as this I'm just

including things into my source code so now we know how I combine this with my

source code how can i compute the new state is it simple quite simple so of

this main CPP file were at the top I including the group inputs to be able to

get the current state of the game under keyboard inputs I need to pass this

current state from S key to some object representations that make more sense to

manipulate I can feed my game engine and update this engine to compute the new

state of my game once I have the new state I need to transform it back to

something meaningful for the player which is a studio of characters that's

what I do and I need to output it the beauty about

this is that all this line - the last one is done at compile time so all of

this is run by the compiler when I'm compiling isn't it crazy yeah that's

kind of fun so what I'm using to do this is a lot of usage of this context per

keyword that you see also using completement for meta programming to

compute some types yeah so now we know how to combine in order to compute the

new state how do i glue things all together and I'm cheating a bit I am

using my super bash skills to do a loop a game loop so at the top I'm starting

my compilation to compute the new state which is also by the way computation so

we could call it a computation if you want I'm grading the keyboard inputs in

the meantime to be able to have the inputs for the next run of the loop

clearing the screen removing this the board I grab the the executive the

renderer ask to show the game state using echo and I could be by the way the

state into the file pure on state and that's that's my game look so it's

compilation printing compilation printing again on again on again yeah so

I will show you the the Beast so I was a bit scared to do this live so

yes I will show you a video instead so that's my game it is pretty boring

it is pretty ugly and pretty slow but but but it anything it's working on all

of this is done that computation that's that's crazy that you can do that kind

of Jamie logic at computation but I mean who would have expected that yeah this

is real time yes it's less than one frame per second

approximately 0.5 yeah so that's the game not not in there

yeah don't know what to say about that so what did I learn by doing this

especially concerning c-plus percent

perfect well the first thing that I learned with C++ 17 is that we are

spoiled kids we are really spoiled when it comes to meta programming it is so

much simpler to do meta programming that in use to that it used to be the code

that you would write for runtime computations will be very easily

transferable into a code that you can use for compile time computations it's

very simple it used to be a nightmare in the past now you can just most all time

use context / - yeah you just put a bit of context or everywhere and things will

run at compile time so I will give you an example in the past if you wanted to

do a compile time branching so basically you try to ask you your compiler if this

condition is met run take this code path otherwise take another one so here this

silence function which takes an object if this object has a member function

called serialize call it otherwise use tooth to string okay and to do this I'm

using studio belief who understand this God in this room

yeah more people than expected but honestly the first time you see this if

you're a beginner in C++ you just want to grab your desk flip it and crush your

computer because that that doesn't make sense right it's import is impossible to

understand but this is gone trash in tsipras for 17 you can use the

if keyword combined with the context per keyword and this gives you a compile

time branching so here I'm saying okay is my object having a sterilised if yes

you will compile to object dot satirize otherwise you will compile to stoop to

string is it is this a bit more readable yeah yeah okay yeah it is but if it's

not the only thing that you can use text bar you can post explore all of the

things at least that's what Ben did on Jason Turner say go check the YouTube

video they explain a lot about what you can do with context where you can pass

some JSON for instance so you have context forum does some standard library

algorithm can be made from stacks back like beyond it for instance some

containers are thumbstick spa for free and even if they are not context for

most of the time you can just steal the implementation and right context for in

front of it do you bit careful when it comes to like

a property on low and that kind of things so cookie is something that is

open-source and cojiro first but then yeah it works

we just have comes texture and things become tense texture by magic 99% of the

time but there is one question left how do you do a constant expressions how

do you do something that is run at compile time that you will need to debug

your compiler somehow yeah that's you can't you could use some static

assets or some tools like don't light tumblr but they are not very simple to

use what I would suggest you is instead of trying to debug your pin part-time

expressions make them runtime expressions and there is a very simple

way to do this instead of using contacts per straightaway wrap it into a macro a

Turkish context per and then when you're going to make all these things not kunst

expert define it to empty and they become runtime expressions so you can

debug them this doesn't work in all the places sometimes you really need a

context where is room so use it wisely

who remember this sauce that was the source code I mean that's my loop inputs

header file where I am including the game state ok

there is something weird in this color so I have a context phone number I

explain to you that you scream sticks for everywhere so nothing weird there

but why is it a longer why is there any need for lambda here someone this room

should know about that yeah I would try to explain to you why

they say that you have a passport size function which return you the size of

your game the size of the board so how many cells you have according to the

ASCII representation of that game board and you want to pass the ball so we have

a possible passport function which is context power as well and within this

password function you want to declare stood array which will contain the item

that are inside my board and I want it to be the size the size of the board so

I'm calling past both sides right here and your compiler is going to be a bit

nasty and say to you you cannot do that you cannot do that

because game State Street game state string is not a constant expression it's

not context per the reason for this is that oh sorry no story the arguments of

context well functions are not constrict by themself so even though paths both

sides screams screams texture when I'm calling it right here I'm using an

argument which is not context PAH so you think okay I remember what John

said you should put context burn in front of things on they become magical

context bar well that's not the case for arguments I'm sorry you cannot do that

so how do we solve that issue constic spur long does instead of using the

value instead of passing the value straightaway you wrap your value into a

context or lambda which will return that value and you call your function as as

you will earlier and in passed ball I need to instead of getting the argument

straightaway I need to call that lambda to extract

the argument does that make sense not really not really because game state

string is still an argument but it works and I don't care that solve my problem

if you want to read about that you should go on John's blog here he has a

nice explanation about this how do you transform string into ties and he had he

run into the similar issues where you need to have an argument that that needs

to be constant back right yeah okay so now we understand why I'm using this

context keyword for my lambda but there's another weird thing from stakes

per string what what is that why I'm not just using a string because it's

convenient it is convenient because my context per string class is exactly like

stood string but constic spa make sense since we

cannot allocate memory at compile time I am using a fixed capacity for my string

so I need to pass this as a template argument I'm not cheap allocating

anymore so I'm stuck allocating things but it still really looks like a stood

strain and that's quite a genius idea because it turns out that some piece of

code that you would write using stood string will look very similar if you

replace this stood string by context per string so here I'm trying to find in a

game state my game state ASCII representation where is the first blue

item in this game state and yeah I'm using stood fine if here I think still

fine if is not whose texture so most likely what I did was stealing stood

fine if on put context but in front of it there's another gem in this code

which are C++ 17 Direction guides what our deduction guides if you have a class

template so in the past if you have a class template and you have a template

parameter for the class template the end for instance and that you use this

parameter into your constructor when you instantiate that class either you would

need to specify that parameter or you will need to write that kind of function

like make context per string to be able to did use this template parameter and

this is ugly this is ugly but it is gone as well C++ 70 much simpler the template

parameters are automatically deduced so here n will be deduced to the size of

this string literal this is nice

in some cases where it gets a bit more difficult to deduce the top layer

parameter you can help the compiler by writing some direction guys to say you

should they'll use things in that way

whose texture string was something that an a but there was also a lot of context

for containers that were provided by C++ 17 so stood up channel for optional

values to pair to the Ray subtly stood violent was not part of them in GCC 7.1

and Lib standard C++ at least the one that I use I had some issue using stood

volumes and make it constable and stood by and I think could be made a

difference texture I'm not guaranteeing this but I think it should be possible

there was also other another disappointing thing is that stricter

bindings weren't constructs were compatible so stricter bindings is a

fancy way to extract from a pair or a table the value with that are contain

and this is not constructs per you cannot particles text or in front of it

that's very sad performance-wise yeah it is bad I told you my game is running at

one frame less than one frame per second so it's not not so good so you will ask

me then why would you do that kind of compile time computations well I think

that most of the time it is not so much an issue to have a bit longer compile

time if you have a much faster runtime and the the more computation you can do

during the composition that is the less you will do at runtime so maybe it is

bad because things are interpreted but it's worth trying to do them at at

compile time CRA seems to be faster than stew the

references studio ray is kind of an abstraction encapsulation of the sea ray

in a better fancier interface and this has no cost at one time but it

has some cost at compile time loop's also seems to be slower than

recursion most likely because when you do loops you're manipulating data

writing data and it seems to be slow at compile time on GCC same goes for

copying data so erase some things Allah and also since my game is only one

compilation unit I'm only using one core to run a game it's slow so that was for

medic rush but I would like to do a meta crush saga which is a bit better what

could I do that with the fancy what if I try to remove the runtime entirely like

this so we will need to find a way so that the compiler outputs the game state

how could we do that I know two things that compiler cannot puts arrows and

warnings okay so I tried I gave it a try I tried to

put the game state as a warning using this deprecated kewal so we can

see I can put ABC at compile time and this what puts me this ugly warning the

thing is that this is ugly and this is a game okay maybe I want it to be playable

I don't want to have these ugly warnings on my face every time I play my game and

sadly I did not find it anyway to do a nice output from my compiler at compile

time so if you have any idea on how to do this please please please come to see

me and we can do the best game ever now that's it for me thanks for your

attention

do you have any question yes yes so as I realize is actually one of the thing

that will be still ugly in C++ 17 I remember well was it yes this is this is

going to use fin a somewhere to make this possible

Finny is substitution failure is not an error which is very hard to understand

so it's kind of a way to you it's a metaphor and a function that ones at

compile time which is going to use some substitution failure to kind of detect

the number function if it's there or not okay I did the talk on that earlier in

this meter it's on YouTube yeah

this one yeah exactly yes yeah this is also using spinny actually but is using

student relief to make it fancier so it's that kind of tricks that you need

to use I could go into this in details but it's very like a rabbit hole

it took me 30 minutes last time to explain just the base of it okay

yes hey

yeah yeah I have to take a look on how I did that but yes it will return false in

some ways yeah I'm trying I'm trying Neil during if I didn't do any mistake

in the sights and maybe I need to do a Sarah is we still need to use it that

way I don't remember if I did this sorry some other questions yes

so can you can you read it so yeah yeah

hmm oh yeah yeah yeah we quit that together I guess if you are willing to

other questions yes

bit of both I would say but I didn't make it work like straightaway I had a

lot of rent I it was it rather no I had a lot of real combining arrows and then

I had to make it into runtime and debug and try again on again and again it's

not some fun actually to do other questions

all right I think that's it if you want to go into a spinny detail we can speak

about that afterwards

VALENTINES TRANSFORMERS (PARODY) - Duration: 3:36.

Valentinesformers!

Loving at first sight.

Lovebots wage their battle to give Valentines to the Romanticons.

Valentinesformers.

Robot Valentines.

Valentinesformers!

Want your heart to Be Mine.

Valentinesformers!

Millions of years ago, on the planet Cyberheart, there existed life.

But not life as we know it.

Intelligent robots that could think and love.

There were two sides: Lovebots and Romanticons.

The Romanticons were driven by a single goal: Universal Affection.

They set out to Love the Lovebots.

But the Lovebots had a plan up their sleeve too.

To show a devotion to the Romanticons.

Flirtimus Prime!

What is it Lovebird?

It's the Romanticons!

They're sending us boxes of chocolates!

That can't happen!

Why not!?!

It's Valentines Day!

We have to send them chocolates first!

You're right.

Feeljack!

Shoot them a box of chocolates on the double.

Sure thing, Flirtimus.

Good.

That'll show them how much we love them.

Wait.

What's this?

"I love you. And I always have. X0X0, Your Secret Admirer."

A secret admirer?

Who could it be?

Hugatron!

At least I hope so.

I've loved Hugatron for years.

Let's go find the Romanticons!

Lovebots?!

Hello Hugatron!

Did you get our box of chocolates?

Not yet.

But we have one for you.

Oh... well...Did you get a note?

I don't know who it's from, but I have my suspicions.

Follow your suspicion Flirtimus.

I will.

I've been waiting to do this for a long time Hugatron.

Smooch me.

But Flirtimus, what about us?!

Lovebots! Follow your hearts!

You are a fantastic kisser Hugatron.

You're not a bad smoocher yourself, Flirtimus.

Now that we're together, I guess there's one question left.

What's that?

bar today fill this gap and I

I'll tell you about the innovations that we implemented in the corner connection

now we are on our site in Leningrad region in the city of the commune

build a house here six by six out of profiled beams for seasonal

residence

today's video will be discussed after Unification under the name of a warm corner to

it was clear what new things we began to do in this connection

first I'll show you how I used to look warm corner for the first time a warm corner started

use when there was no simple the planed beam then appeared

profiled beams

For the first time the warm a simple not planed beam

there on the back was removed and a warm corner worked one hundred percent later

appeared profiled beam with the removed edge for beauty but warm

The angle remained before it and that's what The picture is obtained in the corners with the

the edge we see 7 bedrooms the whole point The problems here in this removed edge

Vargas rub no bargaining and settles down caulk and sew up you can not because

How vertically and nailed boards will be prevent shrinkage until these jobs are

fulfilled angled connection blown a if

there will still be a good downpour with the wind then it also pierce it, but let's not

we will forget that the dock for the seasonal We also do not forget that

this house we can easily turn for permanent residence warming kiosk

outside in general this is a completely different topic for conversation we are a bit distracted

and since it looks like a warm corner today when making a lock that

is called in the language of builders mom this part of the

we get a flat surface when the second half of the castle under

the name of hitting becomes in its place we see that the cracks about which we spoke

Previously, do not just imagine how much the angle became denser

There is another plus of that trading angle if from the outside look at the finished

a log-house then an elder is impressed with difficulty loading a smaller section

this allows us to sew the angle close the end of the beam 1 board width

145 millimeters

Well my friends can tell you exactly what It's not the latest innovations that we

Forgotten History of the FISA Courts and what they were originally intended for - Duration: 6:28.

And then the next thing that strikes me about this, is that we're talking about

the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act.

There's been a lot of disinformation

about what the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act was intended to do and

when it came about. I've heard many people mainstream media and big names on

the radio. Saying that this was something that began with 9/11. That they created

the FISA Act and so forth as part of the Patriot Act. Not true whatsoever not at all

true. the FISA Act goes back to the abuses

that were happening in the 1960s. That were uncovered in the 1970s, with the

Church Committee hearing and the Pike committee hearing. I've mentioned this

many times I'll keep doing it because obviously there's a lot of people who

are giving misinformation about where this all came from. It's important that

you understand that. That it was way before we had the NSA whistleblowers. Way

before we had ed Snowden. We had people realize that they were doing what were

then literal wiretaps. And they were doing it without search warrants. And these

organizations like the NSA and the CIA that were supposed to protect us from

foreign dangers, had turned inward on American citizens. That's why we had the

FISA act. After 2001 September 11th it became a tool of oppression. A tool to

violate the Constitution that's we're gonna see stay with us we'll be right

back I'm David Knight.

FISA is not something that was created in the wake

of 9/11 as part of the Patriot Act, as has been reported by some in the media.

That's not true at all as I pointed out. This is something that goes back to

abuses in 1960s and 70s. And understand that the FBI and these other

organizations were already committing of course. That the CIA was in its infancy.

Truman was going to go on to create the NSA by executive order. So that was in

the in the 1940s. Mid 40s when he's President he's talking about how we're

trending towards a secret police in a Gestapo. With the FBI under J Edgar Hoover.

Then he authorizes the NSA by executive order.

And the CIA was formed after World War two as well from the OSS. It had a

charter and it didn't take very long for these abuses to get very very bad. And

after the Red Scare and the McCartheism was over the 1950s. People were seeing

wait a minute they were supposed to protect us the NSA and the CIA were

supposed to protect us from these foreign enemies. And yet they have turned

on the American people. And they already had by the 1960s in spades. So much so

that you had the church hearings and the House and the Senate. And in the house

you had the pike hearings. When the Pike committee brought the NSA in and said

"we'd like to see your charter". "We don't have a charter we got an executive order".

"Well I'd like to see that executive order". "We're not gonna show it to you, not gonna

even show you the authorization that you Congress men are nothing." We're going to

talk about the deep state. You want to talk about the shadow government and who

runs that. These people so arrogant that they won't even talk to the committee's

that are supposedly their oversight. For the people, our representatives who are

supposed to oversee these things. And that was the 1970s. And they took

everybody's attention off of what the real issue was. Spying on the American

people and being out of control. They took everybody's mind off of that by showing

the heart attack gun and talking about CIA assassinations and so forth. But the

real issue was that and they did not give this up. You know they they put

Helms out and he eventually was killed. They replaced him with George HW Bush

and he rebuilt the the CIA capabilities. Undid the damage and so forth. But

the real family jewels they didn't give away. And that was what they were doing

to the American people. And in order to stop that you had the Foreign

Intelligence Surveillance Act. Which created the Foreign Intelligence

Surveillance Court. Which is now the subject of all this. That's where

the F comes from. Its about foreign. It's like yeah we want you to look at the bad

guys abroad but not on Americans. But that's not what they do.

And now they have gotten and we've been talking about this for a long time. We

had we had whistleblowers from the NSA. In the wake of the Patriot Act. In the

wake of 9/11. Saying they have already created...This is prior to it was ready to

roll out by the time they had 9/11. They were looking for an excuse. They had

already created the mechanism. The software they'd paid a fortune for.

That had been created outside of the NSA. Good guys like William Binney, and Thomas

Drake and others. Had created internal software that would have allowed them to

monitor enemies of America. That were foreign without revealing identities of

Americans. But that's not what they wanted what they really wanted was the

identity of Americans. And so William Binney and others at the NSA, became

whistleblowers. Nobody paid any attention to that and then we got reminded of it

again in 2013 by Ed Snowden. Nothing happened really of any substance to

reform any of this stuff. And then we had massive abuses with all this stuff

through the election and we just had the Congress keep all this stuff quiet. Until

they could reauthorize section 702. And loosen the restrictions that had already

been violated by the NSA and this entire surveillance apparatus. So the FISA Court

is only one part of this. We can look at this and we can say, well you know it's a

troubling breakdown of legal processes established to protect the American

people from abuses related to the FISA process. Or we could say. What made you

think that by creating a secret Star Chamber Court you wouldn't get this kind

of result. Seriously you didn't know this are you that stupid or you that

complicit. And I think you know what the answer is that's a rhetorical question.

We know that they're complicit in this. And so

to me it raises concerns about the legitimacy and the legality of the FBI

and the Department of Justice. But it also raises a lot of questions that this

doesn't really address as to why we're even going through this FISA process. It

was meant to restrict their surveillance of Americans. But it's been used as a

tool to surveil Americans with this whole process. The thing that is key

about all this is. That it has become so brazen so overt. What the shadow

government used to do in the shadows. They now do on MSNBC and CNN. And they do

it without embarrassment.
