They send me away to find them a fortune,

A chest filled with diamonds and gold.

The house was awake. The shadows and monsters,

the hallways, they echoed and groaned.

I sat alone and begged 'til the morning,

I tried to hold these secrets inside me,

My mind's like a deadly disease.

I'm bigger than my body.

My Crazy Summer Plans - Duration: 4:52.

What are you looking at, Ollie?

judgy mc judger face

hi everybody, I'm Amanda the G

and welcome to another word vomit

where I just talk

let's talk about the tide pod challenge!

I'm not gonna eat one, I'm not stupid

let's talk about why people are actually doing this

and specifically why teenagers are doing this

and I've seen a bunch of different articles

go into this

but, they're kind of stopping short a little bit on some of the neurology behind it

your frontal lobe is not fully developed until you're in your mid to late 20's

so

basically if you subscribe to Freud, the superego isn't there

so there's no real thing telling you critical thinking-wise 'this is a bad idea'

which is also part of why teenagers seem to think that they're invincible

so you combine that with the whole

everything is online, so there's a lot more people

to do all this peer pressure

and you think, 'oh, I could eat a tide pod, and all these people are telling me to eat a tide pod

and it's not gonna hurt me, because I'm a teenager' it will hurt you, don't eat it!

then you combine that with the fact that it looks like candy

and it doesn't matter if you're an adult who can tell this isn't candy

part of your brain still goes

it, it looks like it's candy

and I've seen articles go into all of that, and, and talk about that

but

what they're missing

is the role that dopamine plays in all of this

every time you get a like, a comment, subscribers, followers, all of that

does not matter

who you are

your brain rewards you with dopamine

and it feels good, so you do it

but that aside, it's frikin' stupid, don't eat goddamn tide pods

like, don't eat detergent! it's not FOOD it's chemicals, it's poison

it will kill you

there are better ways to get dopamine

neurology's really cool

as a teenager, I never really felt invincible

I always thought that teenagers could die and that's probably because there was a lot of

dying teenagers percentage wise in my home town

like most years, somebody died in the high school or the middle school

so to me

teenage years were potential death

and I also grew up with Columbine

we had active shooter drills in my high school

so it's still kind of weird to me that teenagers still think they're invincible

with all of the shit that happens in the world

I've decided to do a Tough Mudder

this year

so this summer, I am doing a full Tough Mudder. I already bought it

so I'm clearly doing it

and if you follow me on social media, you'll've seen posts about it

cause I'm doing it!

and why?

to prove to myself that I can

and to prove to others that I can

it's something I've thought about doing

for a while and I, honestly, I haven't run a race

since probably high school

when I ran cross country

so, a long ass time

but

I run occasionally and I can run 7 miles now and be ok

sooooo

theoretically by the summer, the 10 mile part is not gonna be the HARD thing

I'm really just more nervous about grip strength

than anything else

can I climb through mud?

sure

do I mind getting dirty?

no

can I shimmy my way through a tunnel?

yes

can I climb over things?

I'm a frikin' monkey, I love to climb!

grip strength!

and I bought myself a set of rings

so I can work on grip strength stuff and rings

and that kind of stuff in my basement

so I don't have to embarrass the crap out of myself

because I do think at one point I'm probably gonna have to go to a playground

to do the like

whatever- whatever that thing is- monkey bars

monkey bars!

you gotta practice that shit

my goal is to finish

and hopefully finish in under 3 hours, cause 3 hours I think is kinda like the average

I hate the feeling

when you're about to sneeze

but then you don't

and I feel it right now, but I'm not gonna sneeze

why?!

I actually like sneezing cause I feel like it kinda clears it out and then you breathe better

but I'm always afraid when I'm driving that I'm gonna sneeze

and then have an accident

plateeeeesma

that's my favorite facial muscle

just because I like saying it

plateeeeesma

it's the muscle make you go like this

plateeeeeeeesma

(laughing) I'll stop now

(choking) (coughing)

(exasperated) my body's trying to kill me, I just choked on my own spit

I'm gonna end this video on that happy note and go drink some water

if you liked this video, click the like button

and subscribe to my channel, I make a new video every Tuesday and Friday

thank you guys so much for watching

MWAH!

I'm so sore

(groaning)

the struggle is real, people!

Black Panther : miou ou graou ? - Duration: 8:28.

Hello and welcome to the Petit Point Geek!

The last Marvel is Black Panther

Black Panther who was eagerly awaited by fans of Marvel

since it's a hero who dates from the 60s

which, as soon as it was released, was very successful

So what about Black Panther?

This is the story of T'CHALLA, a young African prince

who must succeed his father on the throne of an African secret kingdom

called the Wakanda,

Wakanda is very mysterious since is hidden in the face of the world,

Why is he hiding in the face of the world?

They are very technologically advanced

it almost feels like magic!

But it's not magic, it's technology,

They hold that of an ore that is in a mountain, and that is only in their kingdom.

T'challa will have to solve personal problems

due to old family quarrels that we discover as and when the film,

but mostly political and that it's the big novelty of Marvel,

with the big question of whether his country should open or not on the rest of the world to save the poor.

With a beauty of design very well thought out and very worked,

we feel that there was a lot of work behind,

we feel that everything has been thought through to get a beautiful harmony throughout the film,

Disney leaves a big artistic part and tries the renewal,

With this film, they decided to bet on a young director Afro-American, it's quite rare for the underlined,

who is called RYAN COOGLER

and Ryan Coogler is his third feature film, which is surprising,

He had done just before this one, CREED

it was the last Rooky, which was very surprising and intimate,

there was a very beautiful paw,

Disney wanted to go for intimism to get into the world of the show,

and it is rather well played elsewhere!

Ryan Coogler dares criticism of America if not from the western world in general,

it's rather inflated, especially with a movie of superheroes!

It shows a recognition of pain of the African people,

which is very rare, especially in American movies,

it's rather taboo.

It's very good to see black heroes, who are not there only to point out the white heroes,

but who also have their own story.

Another central subject also of this Marvel, which is decidedly very surprising,

it is the feminization of the story.

For example, then I will not spoil you, do not worry!

the hero at the beginning of the film, when he arrives in his country,

he is received by a group of people, especially big heads thinking of his country,

and there are 90% of people who are women.

Not any woman, since we see a Queen,

mentally strong, who does not cry at the death of her husband,

who is really present,

a little sister who is the central thinking head of all that is technological,

as well as very strong, powerful and convincing warriors for their country and for the people around them,

Disney shows the way for some time in the cinema, hoping that others follow their example,

by her cartoon heroines, not those of the saga Star Wars and now in the Marvel.

A big novelty, a great daring and winning modernism, since history is nothing but exciting.

Not to mention that half of the team's chiefs technical are women,

it was time if I dare say!

In Black Panther, humor is measured and present,

it's always good to be able to laugh,

In some of the latest Marvel like the Guardians of the Galaxy,

I personally loved

I know there was a part of the audience, who thought it was going too far in the caricature,

There, in this film, we have humor but he is very dosed and very friendly.

As I said earlier,

the artistic positions were carried out head-on, and the director did very well

his role as team leader and conductor,

since everything artistic is in harmony,

and presents a modern traditional Africa, modernized and even futuristic.

So still some small disappointments!

We will not say that it's perfect!

There are big bad guys, there are 2

There is ANDY SIRKIS that you must have seen in the trailer,

quio does like high-level habituden

in general we do not see it in real life, we always see it, making fictional characters

for once there we see his real body! Is it worth it ! Andy Serkis is a great actor,

he's scary, he's crazy, he's doing a very high level game, he is really good!

You'll be disappointed at one point in the movie, I'll tell you not why, I think you will agree with me!

The second villain represented by a young man called Michael B. Jordan,

is unfortunately not credible, for me anyway,

he is poor beside Andy Serkis,

he is well fucked physically!

Besides, I'll tell the girls that there's beautiful muscular heroes in this movie!

It's always nice to see!

The problem is that it does not scare, for a bad guy it's a shame!

It serves a little film and history.

I would also put a little problem to the fights, which remain very well choreographed,

but which are very badly cut in the image,

it remains rough, it's hard to follow the movements,

Where is the foot? Where is the hand? We do not know too much.

This is one of the major flaws of today's young directors action movies

they film it like video games and it's a shame!

But it remains of a good quality anyway!

Finally, this last Marvel will not be the best, but will probably remain

the most innovative, the most beautiful and the most captivating,

which has been done so far.

I wholeheartedly recommend it to you, hoping to see Black Panther very soon,

in a new adventure that will be entirely dedicated to him, and not just mixed with the Avengers,

Of course, as tradition wants, stay until the end of the credits!

You will have a very nice surprise with surprising images!

Black Panther is a very surprising film!

Hi. I'm Kelsey, one of the Client Services

Representatives at SPP. Welcome to our

continuing series on Investment Basics.

Today we want to discuss equities, or

stocks. Equities are one asset class for

investors to choose from and are

included in the Balanced Fund portfolio

at SPP. When you hold an equity

investment,

it means you own a piece of the company.

The purpose of that ownership is to make

a profit. In this context the term equity

can be used interchangeably with stocks.

The risk associated with equity

investments varies but is generally

considered higher than cash type

investments or bonds. Equities offer

growth of capital and dividends, but you

must be prepared to endure the

unpredictable ups and downs of the

investment market. This is one of the

many reasons equities are often more

suitable for longer investing time

horizons. Equities can help create

savings, maximize income, and protect

wealth. Let's look at each of these a

little closer. As we've already noted

equities typically provide better long

term returns when compared to cash and

fixed income investments.

However, equities typically fluctuate

more in value. Because these fluctuations

tend to smooth out over time, it's

important to take a long-term

perspective when investing in equities.

Just because a particular equity is down

one year doesn't mean it will be down in

ten years. The key is to determine when

it is a temporary setback and when it is

a more serious problem income. Oriented

investors often have a higher percentage

of t-bills and government bonds in their

portfolio. However, it's important not to

overlook the key role that equities can

play. The income generated by equity

investments like dividends

or capital gains is taxed more favorably

than interest income. Setting aside a

certain percentage of a portfolio to

equities may enhance after-tax income.

Another reason to invest in equities is

to protect wealth. In current markets

fixed income investments offer low

interest rates and little protection

from taxes and inflation, eroding wealth

over time. Equities can maximize return

by investing in different areas that

would react differently to the same

event. I hope this information has

clarified equities and their role in

your investment portfolio. Please join us

next time. Thank you for watching.

Should the 49ers Focus on Offense or Defense? (2018 Offseason) - Duration: 6:32.

Ayo! It's Bryan here. Today, going to be talking about the San Francisco 49ers.

Going to be talking about the draft, free agency and what side of the ball should they focus on.

I have a little bit of a different answer here. It's not going to be a concrete,

one way answer. So I'll get to that in a second, but before I get the video

started, I got to congratulate the Philadelphia Eagles for winning the

Super Bowl against the New England Patriots. Who saw that coming?

Well, everyone in Philadelphia I guess saw that, but I did not see that coming. I had

a really close game, but I had New England on the winning side. It was good

to see Philadelphia win their first Super Bowl, first NFL championship since 1960.

That was a long time ago. That was way before I was born, way before I was

thought about. Anyways, moving on. Congrats to the Eagles. They did a really good job

stifling the Patriots defense because Nick Foles had a freaking fantastic game,

as well as Brady. I got to give Brady lot of props. 500 yards in the Super

Bowl, in a postseason game in general? Just wow, fricking fantastic!

That Philly defense, not too bad at all, but the defense for the Patriots as you know,

fell down and we had a whole Malcolm Butler situation and what-have-you.

Nick Foles was the MVP for the Super Bowl. EDP 445? I know he was happy.

I saw the video. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy I guess you can say. I don't know if

he's a nice guy in real life, but he seems like a cool guy. I know he can do

some crazy s**t, but you never know. Congrats to the Eagles Congrats to EDP.

I felt like I was more happy to see EDP win the Super Bowl for the Eagles than the

Eagles win themselves, but hey! They both won.

Great job, nice first Super Bowl victory. We'll see if they can repeat next year.

Moving on. T.O? Congratulations for him for making the Pro Football

Hall of Fame. Long due. Should have been a first-ballot Hall of Famer, but I guess

they came to their senses now. I guess better late than never

We'll probably forget about that eventually. He's in the Hall of Fame.

Congrats to him. Congrats to everyone else, Ray Lewis, Randy Moss, everyone else.

Good job, good job. Now let's talk about the 49ers. We're going to be talking about the free

agency and draft process. Which side should they focus on offense or defense?

I did a video like this last year it's kind of similar in some way shape or

form like that. Going to be going with two different answers, I'll tell you that

right now. So offense or defense for the 49ers?

I'm going to be leaning towards...

I would say offense. I know in my last video, I talked

about wide receiver and offensive line, interior line for Jimmy Garoppolo, for

him to work with him even more, but I feel more inclined with the defense.

After watching the Super Bowl, I know it's not relate to the 49ers, but the Patriots.

Their defense was absolutely terrible against the Philadelphia Eagles' offense.

It just shows that defense wins championships because Brady threw

for over 500 yards. Remember, 500 yards! That's a really, really big number. Not a

lot of people do that in the NFL and even in today's pass happy league. He did

that much and yet, they lost the Super Bowl. That just tells you right there,

defense wins championships. So maybe, I'm leaning towards defense, but I have a

little rationale towards that. I want to lean on both, but probably right now, I

want to lean on defense more. I know last year, it was very draft heavy on defense.

Solomon Thomas, Reuben Foster, Ahkello Witherspoon, the first three picks in the

draft last year. First 1-3 and what have you. I think that's a good idea

because I feel like in free agency, there's a lot of good players on the

offensive side the ball and I can go to a right now. Andrew Norwell, I know a lot of

you guys were talking about him from the Carolina Panthers. Jarvis Landry and then

Malcom Butler had a problem with him in New England. The last game in the Super Bowl.

That whole controversy stuff. I think you guys know what I'm talking

about if you watch the Super Bowl. If you've been following the Super Bowl.

I'll leave it like that. There's a lot of great free agent plays on the offensive

side the ball. I know Malcom Butler was a defensive player, but you guys know what

I mean. I think offensively, there's a lot of great players that we can target in

free agency for Jimmy Garoppolo and if they want to get someone good in free

agency, they better show them the money and the 49ers do have the most money

in the NFL. So that's a very fortunate thing to have and I feel like we can get

some good players in free agency on the offensive side the ball from wide

receiver to interior lineman. Defensively, I feel like defensive end, we can work on that.

Maybe during the draft. It's going to be hard with ninth pick overall. I really

want Bradley Chubb from NC State, but I think he's going to be long gone by then.

Unless they trade up something crazy, but that's just my fantasy dreams.

Cornerback? I know that's a little bit of concern. A lot of people been mentioning that to me,

but I kind of like the cornerback spot right now, sort of. I mean, I know it's a

little iffy at best kind of with Ahkello Witherspoon. He's pretty damn good.

Donte Johnson, a lot of people question him, but I thought he'd play alright in

the last stretch of the game. I guess if they want to look for a shutdown number

one cornerback, you got to go Malcom Butler in free agency or in the draft.

There's a lot of great players in the drive. I think Joshua Jackson from Iowa

and that guy from Ohio State. I forgot his him exactly, but those two guys are the

biggest targets for cornerbacks in the draft. Maybe one of them will pull a

Marshon Lattimore from the New Orleans Saints last year to this year.

We don't know, but I mean, if they draft a cornerback, I wouldn't be mad at all if they

did that. I still feel like offensive line interior, wide

receiver and defensive end are the biggest need for the 49ers in my opinion.

Well, the right receiver part, little caveat. Not the number, number one

receiver, but just a number one receiver that we can rely on for the most part.

I like Marquise Goodwin, I like Pierre Garçon, I like Victor Bolden Jr. and Trent Taylor, but

I feel like Jimmy Garoppolo just needs someone even better on top of their game

to make the offense even better in my opinion. Running back might be concerned

as well because Carlos Hyde as I said before is a free agent. I don't know if

he can resign with the 49ers. You got to pay him a lot of money, but the 49ers. They do

have a lot of leverage because they have money to spare and Carlos Hyde, I don't know.

He was kind of inconsistent a little bit this year. I thought he did all right

for what the 49ers were before Jimmy Garoppolo came, but he did have a down

year just a little bit. I feel like they should sign him. I really think so.

I think he has 3 good years left for the 49ers and I think the 49ers should

take advantage of that and sign him to a long-term deal. You also got Joe

Williams and Matt Breida. You don't have to worry about that. They can be

serviceable rotations to the running back system that Kyle Shanahan likes.

He likes to do two headed monsters like he did in Atlanta with Devonta Freeman and

Tevin Coleman. That was a pretty good combination from a couple years ago.

So now, as I said. Defensively, I think they can go to the draft for that to look for

a defensive end/cornerback if they really want to look for a cornerback,

even a linebacker as well. I feel like offensive lineman, wide receiver you

can go to the free agency period and find someone good there because there's

quite a bit of good free agents for both sides of the market, especially over the

wide receiver position. I feel like they can do a good job with that. So yeah,

that's going to be pretty much it you guys. I know this wasn't a hardcore concrete

answer, but I feel like if we split up for free agency to the draft for both sides

of the ball, I feel like that's a really good compromise right there. Of course,

they can always do other things as well, but that's just my opinion. This is what

I think the 49ers/John Lynch/ Kyle Shanahan should do in this

offseason period. We'll see what happens. So please comment below what you guys

think about this. Do you agree with me? Do you disagree with me? Please put it down

in the comments below. I'd love to hear what you guys have to say and as always

if you guys like this please "Like," SUBSCRIBE, do whatever you want with this,

share this video if you want to with everyone else in Niner Nation. That would

be pretty dope and what-have-you. So I guess I'll catch you guys tomorrow.

I'll see y'all later. Bye guys. Love y'all!

Thomas Cole's Journey: Atlantic Crossings - Duration: 3:45.

Thomas Cole captured Nature in her grandest form, creating sublime landscapes of the untrammeled wilderness.

Born in Bolton, England, in 1801, Cole came of age witnessing the effects of the Industrial Revolution.

Rivers rotting with waste, factories belching smoke, and machinery destroyed in the Luddite rebellion

epitomized the new era.

While Cole's working life began in a British factory creating calico fabrics,

his father was forced to relocate the family to the United States due to financial hardship.

His early years as an economic migrant were Cole's "winter of discontent."

Yet brighter days were on the horizon.

"In my imagination I pictured the glory of being a great painter," he wrote.

With gusto, Cole moved to New York to become an artist.

He found early success traveling up the Hudson River to paint wild landscapes that were unmistakably American.

From New York, the 28-year-old Cole crossed the Atlantic once more.

"I'm going to study the great works of art," he wrote.

"I feel like one who is going to his first battle, and knows neither his strength nor his weakness."

In London, he studied the European masters—Claude, Turner, and Constable—

who impressed the artist and, in the process, strengthened his own hand.

"I think I shall improve very fast here, having the advantage of seeing so many fine pictures,

both ancient and modern."

From England, Cole ventured to Italy "in search of the picturesque."

He mastered the art of the on-site sketch, portraying the Colosseum in Rome and the surrounding

countryside of the Campagna.

Cole returned to New York in 1832.

The artist became keenly aware of the country's transformation under President Andrew Jackson

into a profit-seeking, land-grabbing, manufacturing machine.

His anxieties bled onto the canvas in two of his most renowned works,

The Oxbow and The Course of Empire, manifestos which posed a question to Americans:

Will the man-made forces of capitalism overwhelm the divine power of nature,

or is there a better path for our young nation?

Cole was a torchbearer who created a defining aesthetic for the new republic.

A man who loved to paint and painted what he loved, cherishing one subject above all.

He wrote, "I have found, though, no natural scenery yet which has affected me so powerfully

as that which I have seen in the wilderness places of America."

He would launch the first national landscape school in the young nation by imparting his

inspiration to generations of American artists.

"Nature has spread for us a rich and delightful banquet.

Shall we turn from it?

We are still in Eden; the wall that shuts us out of the garden is our own ignorance and folly."

The questions Cole posed in his art and in his writings continue to resonate today.

S2E5: Caravaggio | Sunny Family Cult | Scary Horror Series | Crypt TV - Duration: 7:56.

(intense drum beat)

- Why can't I go?

- There's a difference between knowing about something

and actually participating in it.

(door slams)

(drawing knife) (groaning)

Everything that we have in R, it's me.

You don't say a word unless I tell you to.

- Maybe it's the Sunny family cult rising up

like a dormant volcano that's finally decided to erupt.

(screaming)

- Please, god, don't do this.

(intense music)

(dripping)

- [Cult Leader] We can choose our friends,

we can choose our enemies,

but family,

family is forever.

Patrick.

- Lies.

Please, you've got to understand.

- [Cult Leader] Understand what?

That you would abandon us?

That you would defy and desert your family?

We took you in when the bank took your house,

when you had no one.

No wife,

no kids,

no money.

- I can't do it anymore.

This is not a family.

This is a butcher shop.

- Family, as it is written, it shall be done.

The price for desertion is death.

(intense music)

(stabbing) (screaming)

(coughing)

(groaning)

- It was there

in the brush.

- Here?

There's nothing here, Allie.

Not a goddamn thing.

- Mom, I swear.

- Am I not giving you enough attention, sweetheart?

If this is how your choosing to act out,

please do something that isn't going to impede

on my credibility.

- Why won't you believe me?

Someone tried to kill me yesterday.

I saw a body in the brush.

It was real.

- I've seen the way you interact with your friends.

I'm not one of your girlfriends

in the business of being manipulated.

Let's go.

- Now, there's one other thing I'd like to address.

Taylor has brought it to my attention

that one of us in our family has been acting independently.

And I'd like to remind everyone that solidarity

is the glue that keeps this family together,

and there's no exception to that rule.

Repeat.

- [All] As one.

- We have paved our own way.

- [All] As one.

- We have overcome a world

who seeks to undermine our integrity.

- [All] As one.

- As one.

- Just feels like a Caravaggio, you know?

He's a master of realistic observation of the human spirit,

both physical and mental.

- It's haunting, like you.

Why are you here?

- I wanted to apologize.

- Oh.

- I'm not a teacher.

- I gotta go.

(loud drum beat)

- Taylor?

- Please leave me alone.

- You need to listen to me.

I think you could be in danger.

We all could be.

- There's nothing here.

- Maybe you just got pranked or something.

- God, you guys are just like my mother.

Look at this, does this look like a prank to you?

Keep looking.

(sighs)

What the hell?

- He told me he's talking to all the students

who might've known the missing kids.

- Same, I just don't understand why he'd lie.

- That's the police for ya.

He probably knows something we don't.

(intense music)

He'll figure it out.

(piano music)

- Hey.

Are you okay?

- Twice

in 30 years.

I hate enacting this rule and I don't want to do it again,

but examples must be made.

- Are you afraid that Taylor might...

- I know she thinks I'm a monster,

but I only want what's best for her.

Her safety and her true place in this family.

- So, show her.

You're more than a leader, you're her father.

Never lose sight of that.

She might not understand it all now,

but you were young once too.

- Is that real blood?

Gross, what about disease?

- Shouldn't you just hand that over to the police,

your mom?

- No.

I'm not gonna be humiliated by her again.

I can figure it out.

- What's so funny?

- Nothin, I just haven't seen that symbol in a long time.

- You know what it is?

My house, tomorrow.

I'm all yours.

(eerie music)
