BOOZY Chocolate Covered Strawberries WITH GLITTER - Valentine's Day Recipes - Duration: 1:33.

Hey guys, it's Warren here and today we're making chocolate covered strawberries.

What's great about these?

That's right - they've got alcohol in!

Which means these are guaranteed to impress this Valentine's Day.

This is enough to make 10 chocolate covered strawberries.

To begin with, melt 120g of Dark chocolate either on the stove or in the microwave.

When your chocolate is love and smooth, pour in 25ml of brandy and 1 tbsp of golden syrup.

Mix these ingredients together until thoroughly combined then (if you did heat your chocolate

on the stove) remove the bowl from the saucepan.

Take 10 washed strawberries and for each, dip in the chocolate until covered all over.

Now lay all your chocolate covered strawberries on a sheet of greaseproof or parchment paper

and leave in the fridge for 15-20 minutes in order for the chocolate to firm up.

Now melt a small amount of white chocolate (the same way you did with the dark chocolate)

and use a spoon to drizzle it all over your strawberries.

Finally, finish your chocolate covered strawberries off by spraying with some edible glitter.

There you have it, that's how easy it is to impress the one you love this Valentine's

Day with these boozy chocolate covered strawberries.

If you loved the look of this Valentine's Day recipe, remember to give this video a

thumbs-up.

I'll see you again Sunday with my next video - remember to subscribe to be one of the first

to see it.

Немного о карнавалах на Тенерифе / It is a little about carnivals to Tenerife - Duration: 10:22.

Here is 1996

And what about 1996 starts?

Ends with!

(music is playing)

Hello friends!

We are now in the center of Santa Cruz

This is the capital of Tenerife

Here is the preparation for the carnival

A lot of cars

The entire parking lot it is crammed

Literally about 3 hours ago there were no other cars

In this building is preparing for the carnival

Here's a line for the carnival

Here is 1996

And what, 1996 begins?

Ends with!

According to information taken by me from different sources in

internet, carnival in Santa Cruz de Tenerife (Spain), is the second

the world's largest carnival in Rio de Janeiro.

Annually develop subjects of carnival.

These are the historical tiles information on

every year from 1962 to 1996

In 2018, on February 7, election of the queen of carnival

The first procession was on February 9 Main procession February 13

Funeral of sardines is appointed on the 14th of February

It is said that the very word came from the roots of meat

(Carne) and Farewell (Vale) In fact, the holiday reminds me of

our Carnival.

As well as with us it happens before the start of the post

Instead of burning Baba here Sardine, stuffed

fireworks

We were not able to visit at the main carnival in

Santa Cruz, but we visited on this holiday in 2015

in the municipality of Arona in the south of the island of Tenerife

On the island after the main Carnival holidays pass

in many other municipalities: Puerto de la Cruz, La Laguna,

Orotava, Arona, Candelaria.

We ended up in the final part - "The funeral of Sardina"

By custom, participants change their clothes funny clothes or in mourning,

mourning the sardine.

Although, nevertheless, it is very fun party.

Ideas Box – a window to the world - Duration: 3:06.

Ideas Box - an opening to the world

The essence of this project is based on the ability to dream

The ability to dream holds even more importance when you've lost everything

When you have nothing, the only thing that can't be taken from you is your ability dream

The idea of the Ideas Box was the possibility of bringing anywhere

especially in places with humanitarian crisis

a portable media library

A sort of window to the world, a creative safe space

in places where usually such things are not considered

Normally during a humanitarian crisis basic needs are the first priority

such as food and shelter

and the things that make us human such as reading, writing, creating, dreaming, and teaching our children

are usually not taken into account

There are many places where the internet connection

are either extremely bad, even by satellite or completely forbidden.

And so in the Ideas Box we integrated a server

that would allow us to download and use internet at a local level

so we can offer all this content offline

This is of great use because we work with schools with no electricity and no internet

But with this kids can have access to tablets and to the film menu

all because we have a battery integrated into the Ideas Box

and also because we can download interesting content beforehand, here in the House of Education

this content will then be available at the school, even without an internet connection

Because of the school programme, sometimes the teacher can't let the children dream

So what we do is we take their worries

Give them the time to concentrate and to work on their competencies

We could download short awareness videos for example

to teach the children the importance of sleeping under a mosquito net so as not to catch malaria

awareness videos on womens' rights and the non-use of violence...

in an Ideas Box you can find more than just books, there is a cinema with a video projector and a tv

There are also books made of paper but also a great amount of digital resources

and there will also be tools to stimulate creativity such as video cameras

to make films, or interviews

tools to make art, invent plays and make music

The idea is to make a creative multimedia cultural centre in kit form

And when its packed up its secured, its protected from water and dust

It can't be stolen, it stays as a bloc

The message is what's in here, its the messages in plural

the quantity of messages that it contains that others will receive

The recipient isn't important, the content is what allows you to dream

Nowadays 85 Ideas Box are found in over 20 countries

Off Camera Flash Settings Without a Light Meter: The Breakdown with Miguel Quiles - Duration: 11:51.

In this episode of The Breakdown, I'm

going to talk to you guys about how I set

up my lights in the studio without a

light meter. Welcome back to The

Breakdown, my name is Miguel Quiles,

and I'm here in the studio today with Emily,

and today I want to talk to you guys

about a question that I get all the time,

in the comments section, which is how did

I determine what my power settings are

from my light, and so what I'm going to do

today is I'm going to break down exactly

how I arrived at my settings, without

having to use a light meter. Before we

get started, let me explain to you

everything that I'm using here to take

these photos. So today I have the Sony

A7RIII with me, i have it paired up with

their battery grip, which is super handy,

and super useful, when you have to take

portrait style photos. Makes it much

easier for you to hold the camera. I've

got the Sony 85 mm f/1.8. One question

that I get pretty often in the comments

section, people will ask why am I am using

the 85 f/1.8, if I have the 85 G Master, and

to be quite honest with you, the reason

is that sometimes you get lazy in the

studio. You don't want to hold a heavier

lens the whole day the 85 f/1.8 is much

smaller, it's much lighter, and usually if

I'm not as tired, that can be a lot more

creative. So in professional scenarios, if

I'm working with a client, I would

probably default to using the 85 f/1.4,

but in this case, I love the 1.8 because

it's very sharp, it gives me very

comparable results, but it's much lighter,

and I'm using the Profoto air remote, so

this is what I'm going to be using to

take all of the photos for this tutorial,

and let's go ahead, and let's talk about

the lighting, and what we're using for

our light shapers. Let's walk through the

lighting setup, that we're going to use for

today, and for all of these shots, I'm

using a Profoto D2 and that Profoto D2

is going to be my main light. I have

it set to channel A, so that I'm able to

control it from the remote. It's paired

up with a Profoto 5 ft octa. This is

probably one of my favorite light

shapers, especially to use in the studio because

honestly, you can make anybody look good

with a 5-ft octa, so chances are if

you see a majority of my work... probably

eighty 85% percent was lit with

this size of modifier. Now if you're

watching this, and you're saying, oh you

know he's using a Profoto light, I can't

afford that right now. Please understand

that all of the stuff that I'm showing

you right now, you could do with whatever

lights it is that you choose. There's

gonna be pros and cons as far as color

temperature. As far as power output, all

that's gonna be different however you

could take a speedlight. In this case if

it's a five-foot octa, you're probably

going to need a bunch of speed lights, you

might need three or four to equal the

type of output that you're getting from

this strobe. the recycle time might not

be as fast, but you can use whatever

strobes, whatever flashes that you choose

to use, or whatever it is that you own!

Just try to set up something comparable

to this, and you're going to see that the

results are going to be in the same

ballpark. Now for the fill light we're

actually using another Profoto D2, and

then the softbox, that we're using it's

actually a one by six strip bank from

Profoto, and I really love using this

because you actually get this like

really beautiful catch light in the

bottom of the eye. And with this Avenger

c-stand, I could position this fill light

to basically either be very bright in

the catch light, or kind of move it down

to where you don't see it impacting the

photo as much. Now the question that I'm

getting all the time is, with these two

lights, how do I arrive at my settings if I'm

not using the light meter? So now

that you understand what it is that I'm

using, we're going to talk about how I dial

in those settings to my own taste, and

how you guys are able to do it as well!

Let's go ahead, and figure out how we're

going to dial in this recipe, this lighting

recipe. So the first thing that I always

do when I'm shooting in the studio, is my

very first photo. I'm taking it with the

strobes turned off, and what I'm

attempting to do, is I'm trying to take a

photo in the studio where all of these

lights that are in here, are not

impacting the exposure. So there's two

ways to be able to do that, technically,

there's more, there's three ways maybe,

even four, I don't know! The main ways

that you're going to be able to do this are

going to be by, controlling your aperture,

your shutter speed, your ISO, and you

could also the fourth way, is by

using neutral density filters to be able

to control the exposure. That way, but

that's a little more complicated than

what we're going to talk about today.

Instead we're going to use high speed sync

to be able to control our exposure in

this room, and also to be able to shoot

wide open with our aperture. Now I'm

going to shoot these photos at f/3.5 for the

aperture, and I chose that aperture

because I want to make sure that her

skin texture is nice and sharp and in

detail. That her eyes are sharp and in

focus, but then her hair and everything

else basically will blend, and just blur

away into the background, and that the

background will have a nice blur as well.

At f/3.5 I'm going to be ensured that

all of that's going to be in focus. Now

if I've dialed in that aperture, the only

other things that I'm going to be able

to change is my shutter speed, and my ISO

so what I'm going to do is, using the Sony

camera it makes it kind of easy because

I could see the exposure in the

viewfinder. What I'm going to do is, I'm

going to try to get the scene to be

completely dark to where this light

that's in the studio, is not actually

lighting the photo! So I'm going to try

first and I'm going to try a high shutter

speed. We're going to try 1,5000th

of a second and I'm able to

do this because the strobes have

high-speed sync. So this is one thing you

want to keep in mind, if you have strobes

that don't have high speed sync, you're

going to be shooting at a higher aperture.

Maybe an f/8, and it'll work perfectly

fine. So we're going to try 1/5000th

thousandth of a second, and the goal here

is to have a photograph, where you're not

able to see the model at all, and I know

it sounds kind of counterintuitive, but

what we're trying to do is basically

light her with just these light shaping

tools. I don't want the light from the

studio, I don't want all these back

lights because I can't control them.

They're a different color temperature,

but I can't control these, I can move

them closer, move them away, put them to

the right, to the left. I have a lot of

control. So this first photograph

I'm looking at, and at 1/5000th of a second

you really can't see her. It doesn't look

like too much ambient light is actually

exposing her, but I'm going to take a chance

here. I'm just going to go ahead and go up

to 1/6400th of a second. Take

another photograph here,

perfect, and I'm always shooting tethered

in the studio. One of the big reasons is

that it's much easier for me to evaluate

these things. If I see it on a big screen

as opposed to trying to look at it on

the smaller monitor at 1/6400th of

a second f/ 3.5, ISO 200, I have a

completely dark image. Completely

underexposed, you can't see the model at

all. Once we have this baseline I'm going to

go ahead, and turn on my lights and the

first thing that I'm going to do. I'm

actually going to go ahead, and just try to

dial in the main light, and try to get

that to look proper. Then I'm going to

dial in the power for this bill light,

then I'm going to turn them both on at the

same time, and see how they blend

together. So let's go ahead, and let's get

the main light dialed in, so what I've

done. All I've done is just turn on this

light. The bottom light is not on, so

we're going to take a test shot here, and as

far as how I arrived at the settings, 'cause

this is a very common question that I

get. I just dial the settings to where.. I

think they might need to be! Over time as

you do this more and more, you're going to

notice that you're going to get very lucky!

That you just turn on the lights, you

dial in a power setting that you think

is going to be correct, and nine times out

of ten you're in the ballpark, so I'm

taking this first photograph. It's a

little bit underexposed, so what I'm

going to do is, I can look at it and tell

that it's probably about two stops

underexposed. So I'm just going to go ahead

on the remote take the main light up to

+2, and then I'm going to go ahead and take

another photograph. Very good, and now the

main light is looking... just wait for this

to transfer - it's looking pretty good. So

the main light looks fantastic, and all I

did was just raise it up two stops. Now if

you take this photograph and you notice

that at two stops, is still under exposed

once again dial the power up on your

main light until you get the exposure

correct. Now that we have the main light

set up, I'm going to turn off the main

light and we're going to turn on our fill

light. And you could actually just go

ahead and test push the test button to

make sure that it's going off, and so

we're going to go ahead now, and we're

going to check out the

fill flash... to make sure it's in the right

position, and that it has the right power.

There we go, and I guess I didn't mention

this earlier, but our settings in the

camera are not going to change! Once we

figured out what that proper setting is

in the studio to negate the ambient

light. We're not going to play with our

settings. From that point forward the

only adjustments that we're making are

to the power level of our strobes, now

the fill light in this case is very, very

underexposed. It's not doing very much,

I'm gonna go ahead, and I'm going to

raise that two stops, and again I've

arrived at that by pure guesstimation.

Right you could get a light meter, you

could light meter this. You could be done,

but a light meter could cost you seven

or eight hundred bucks. If you're on a

budget, and you just want to learn

lighting. You don't have to have a light

meter to do studio lighting, you could

just guess and get to your proper

exposure. So here, great so now the fill

light is looking pretty good. I raised

that up two stops and theoretically when

I turn on this main light, and the two

blend together

we should be in business. So let's turn

on our main light, test them out again. I

haven't changed the settings at all.

We're going to take a photo, looks pretty

good! We''re seeing a nice blend between

the main light, and the fill light. So now

that we have that I'm going to go ahead

and start shooting, and try to get some

good poses, and good expressions.

So everyone, that is how I dial in my

settings when I'm shooting off camera

flash in the studio. Hope you guys found

this useful. If you're here watching this

Un dirigeable sans pilote et destiné au transport de fret ? Des étudiants y travaillent ! - Duration: 2:39.

My name is Gauthier Bechet. I'm a student in my last year

of mechanical engineering at EPL (Ecole polytechnique de Louvain).

My name is Gaël Pouadjam, I'm a student here at EPL

in my last year of mechanical engineering.

The subject of my master's thesis is the experimental study of the aerodynamic performances of an airship in a wind tunnel.

Our promoters are Grégoire Winckelmans, Philippe Chatelain and Matthieu Duponcheel.

Our job consists in studying the behavior of the airship in a wind tunnel.

There actually is a project about a full-scale airship and its design.

This airship will be a 15 meter long prototype.

And we were asked to design an experiment

that would allow to validate

or at least to provide the flight characteristics of this airship.

So we designed an experiment on an airship model

50 times smaller than the one to be designed.

And we placed this airship in a wind tunnel

to measure the forces that would apply on it.

Here is the experimental facility that we designed.

There was already this frame and this aerodynamic force balance

that allows the measurement of several forces on a model.

We designed the holder that is fixed on the force balance.

This holder is a frame that allows to rotate

the airship at various angles of incidences.

So this is the airship itself

and we place it in front of the airstream.

There are several steps in this master's thesis.

The first is a design step.

Then an experimenting step where we actually performed the measurements.

And the third step is a step of validation of the data

and of comparison of the results

with the literature. We also did

visualisation. That is, we took pictures

of the flow around the airship

and to do this, we used a technology

called PIV. - So we have here

the laser arm

that will generate a laser sheet on the plane

of the airship. Next, we have the cameras

that will capture the pictures to be treated afterwards

and all this is actually the PIV,

the particule image velocimetry. - And it allows to get nice vector fields,

And to actually understand what's happening in the flow.

The finality of this master's thesis is to generate data useful for the

flight control of the prototype.

Germany Federal Government relies on Blockchain - what is in the coalition agreement? | Vlogchain - Duration: 8:59.

the german federal government is using blockchain technology

yes thats right

and therefore welcome to

vlogchain - video blogchain news

the great coalition, the future federal government of germany,

(so very likely the future government of germany)

will rely on blockchain technology

that can be read

out from the coalition agreement

which is known since yesterday

the word "blockchain" emerges

seven times. two times the word

"cryptocurrency" emerges and also once the word

"distributed ledger" emerges

lets have a look at the document,

at the individual sections

and in which contexts

these terms appear

you can download the

Coalition agreement of cdu csu and spd

from this article at the Handelsblatt

to download link to both

the article as well as to the pdf

is in the description below

the first time the word "blockchain"

appears in the coalition agreement

is here in the section

"digital competence". it reads:

we need a training and

research offensive in all digitization fields

... and further on:

"additionally further research priorities

like artificial intelligence, data science

digital humanities and blockchain technology,

robotics and quantum computing

what does that mean concretely?

the grand coalition, so the future

Federal Government of germany is writing in this

section its intent

that they want to research on

technologies like blockchain with others

technologies such as robotics

and would like to promote them

that could mean, for example, that in

the four years of the legislature

they ou agree on: "okay, now there

it is money for

universities and we set up

an institute that itself

only will research on blockchain

or similar things.

a concrete measure that one

from this intent statement here

We could continue to derive

document the next section in the

The term blog chain happens that it

in the section competitive

economy and that's what it's about

potential of the block technology too

open up and abuse possibilities

we want to prevent a comprehensive

develop blog chain strategy and us

for a reasonable right

for the trade with Rücktour currencies

and token at European and

international level as well

here again what does that mean in concrete terms

positive times you want the potential

the block opens up gene technology

So you want to look first

what can this technology actually and

Of course you have to

Prevent abuse opportunities

is probably called in particular

Consumers protect against it

to get cheaters and their money too

lose it when dry or in it

Crypto currencies invest easily

they simply do not exist

are legitimate and that is very important

I had that in one of the last

videos have already said that here

In particular, it creates a legal framework

for companies who need to know what it is

what can i do what i am allowed to do

Do not do that and that's why it's a good one

sign that the big coalition

the future federal government for it

first want to use basic principles

Of course, you always have to wait and see what you do

but then it actually does that first

times already here the intention explained

just to settle this one

to create a legal framework and that, too

at European and international

we will continue in the document

next section in which the concept

blog chain turns up this is this

is the section on the way to the

digital administration and it says in

we will become the federal government

innovative technologies like distributed

Ledger in brackets blog chain trials

so based on those experiences

a legal framework can be created

Sounds very similar to the first in this

section before here but we have to

The context here is about the

digital administration and up here in the

section that means that the big one

coalition the future federal government

just like to see it would be that one

uniform citizen portal is so

that I have all my authority

a place so very roughly simplified

So if I can do so

example with a tax return

if I have to leave

Resident registration office must if I kfz

I want to register that all under

a uniform surface can do

possibly also with a mobile

app and in this context, the

Federal government just test to what extent

the block chain technology here

be used

could specifically mean, for example, that you have one

Federal blog chain creates for that

commercial register that is all

Enter the companies in the commercial register

are registered on the blogs

chain brought in there

keys might be your own data

There, these changes need to be managed

Of course, then by the authorities against

being checked

but that would be essential, for example

more efficient than the current process where

you always have to submit the application

then it has to be checked and the like

So you just have this digital one

technologies are exploiting this

accelerate

Let's move on to the next document

section in which the term login

is shown here at the section

industry and that means we want

the existing technology programs

for application-oriented research on

promotion digital lace technology

like quantum computers robotics autonomous

systems augmented reality blog chain

visible light communication and smart

home continue and expand here too

again, what does that mean in concrete terms?

example that you also more money here

There are institutes here

that you hire people here

with this technology

argue in certain

research areas in particular

research branches in public

institutions and the like

to figure out how to get the block chain

application-oriented that means in everyday life

we can actually use it

continue in the document and to the last

section where we started blog

chain occurs this is line

3212 the section is called financial market and

Digitization and here so the texts

here it is literally

identical to the text we already mentioned above

So it had to be here too

the potential of the industry technology too

open up and abuse possibilities

to prevent and so on and so on

This is the same as we already have

had competitive economy

that means yes here is the big one

coalition in principle again that they

It is important in these areas

economy financial market digitization

just here the block urban goes to

explore and then just one

to create a legal framework

You will find the original document

read it yourself as I said in the below

video description

I load the pdf with the markings

again

high on the blog too, I link

below in the video description

I think that's very good, I think so

important that the term blog chain here

so often so prominently in the coalition agreement

mentioned

that's just very important here

the intention is to promote it

that really goes forward

Now you can just go to politics

and say okay let's be specific here

Derive measures from it and

accordingly has the positive

Federal Association blog chain on this

Paper also reacted yesterday

a press release issued

and that means basically

Welcome says that it is very important

that the blog chip industry is in

Germany has arrived as well

here to the individual sections still

something and of course that also says that

they still one or the other thing

especially one would want

so-called sandbox in the possibility so

that you say okay let us go

example in the field of finance here

first experiment in the field

quite open where we try everything

can and then we can too

Find out what makes sense of what

does not make much sense that wishes

the federal association blog gave itself

here, of course, but basically

As I said, this is a very positive one

message that here this technology like that

prominent in the federal government

of course we have to arrive

wait and see what the new federal government

It really does make them

the intentions here are promising

formulated in the coalition agreement

if she actually keeps it then

but as I said it is a very

important a very good start for the

Technology here in Germany

I'm confident that I'm there

what will happen in the next few years

but feel free to write me down in the

Comments on how you see what you believe

her

which projects will be there

enforce what will become the new

Federal government will do what will become of you

she will not do anything

maybe it can happen too

like I said your opinion below in

the comments

besides, I would be special

happy if you share this video

because I do not have any

Report virtually no reports

read about that this concept so

prominent as I said in the

coalition agreement emerges

the video likes to share with people

be enthusiastic about crypto currencies

could sign up for the blogs

technology could inspire and let

me a thumb there if you the video

have fallen by then a good time

and look

Stay home sleep sleep in have a good time watching Japanese TV in the morning and then go out

I'm gonna take a nap and I'll see you somewhere in a bit

Hey today. I'm learning to be a samurai

So the first thing we're gonna. Do is we're gonna change our outfits because we can't look like this if to look like this

Like a brother to the Dean

My name is blitzberg and the town will keep here here. Yes

As a box of keys I stand

Fancy suicide pat-down yeah, I'm an intern no samurai okay?

This is not easy guys, but it's a lot of fun, and they're really really good at it, and they're gonna show us now

Me yes, 20 yeah after 20 years before and I did karate oh
