I'm going away for a couple of days and I didn't want to leave this channel empty for
too long. Coming up an overview Quick Clip on my first two months on YouTube
and at the end of it please don't miss my new recommendations
on how to start a new channel based on my experience.
Kia Ora and welcome to Quick Clips. I'm Enny Benzonelli. My channel niche is still
under construction but if you like my content and you like spending some

all started with some random clips about Switzerland and New Zealand. They were
fun to research and great to shoot but foremost they got me the mojo and they
got me started creating content on YouTube. One of the top 3 most viewed videos on
my channel is titled "Challenge: how to get 100 subs in 30 days". Well surely I
didn't make it! I think it did well in my little universe because it came out just
when YouTube was changing its rules and everybody was looking for the type of
content and I got caught in the whirlpool of searches. Lucky me! Prime
Minister just Jacinda Ardern's pregnancy got a bunch of views too just
because I've tapped into a trending topic. Smart me! My most viewed video so
far is my 2018 Oscars predictions. Well I planned and seeded the video very
carefully, looking at trends and planning around them when to drop it. And, without
much effort I got some traction. By the way my predictions where spot-on. If you
don't believe me watch the video over here, here, over here, yeah!
But, no wait... at the end. Not now. Just wait... a bit. The topics I care the most are the
most difficult to produce. Giving you advice on how to go back to school at
an adult age or make sure you value yourselves are more part of who I am and
probably the direction this channel is going to take shortly. I can assure you
that these has been two full months and the journey has just started but I'm
grateful to a bunch of cool people that have supported me so far. You know who
you are, thank you! What I've learned so far is that a lot of videos on YouTube
showing you how to get subscribers, view, likes, comments are just trash. Remember
if they ask you to take out your credit card I recommend to back out of that
system straight away. Those fast number are not going to help you in the long
term. Au contraire, if they offer you to explain you our social media works and
they have created a nice course and spend time into it and you can see they
spend time a to it, then do some due diligence. Look at the reviews. If they
have good reviews and people are talking well probably is a good course maybe
reach out to one of those people comments try to ask them is it worth, is
it a good course, and if you get a good reply then invest into it because it's
like learning and learning is is fantastic and a lot of those serious one
use YouTube as well and they give you freebies on YouTube. But to really
comprehend 100% they sell you their courses but that's their livelihood.
That's their way to monetise and that's maybe the way you can support them
because they gave you so much for free, and now you got at that point that you
need to know more, and so you go and invest into them and you kind of invest into
the community. And that's a great thing of YouTube: being a community. So make sure
you really always analyse if it's something crap, that is just pay to get
likes, or if it's a course that it's about teaching you how to be better, how
to use the system better to become a better Youtuber. I found out of
support in Facebook, which is strange as it is a different platform, but there is a lot of
YouTube communities and why not join them some are closed community, some are
open. Just join them and then be part of the discussion. I'm not very good at that,
but I try when I know an answer I try to answer and I give my two cents and it's
good to be part because it will as well grow your authority will, you know, put
your name out there and people will find you and then find your channel which is
always good. Those subscribers that come in because they saw you commenting and
saw you posting I probably the one there are going to be more interested and the
one they're gonna bring you more resolts over long term. It's easy to get
discouraged but don't let yourself down. Everything takes time to grow, everything
takes time to build. But if you take care of it I'm sure the results are gonna come.
Don't be afraid to experiment, I'm still looking on the best way to shoot my
videos myself. Learn from your errors and turn them into positives, don't get the
mistakes to stop you from publishing your work. Train yourself on being self
constructive about your craft rather than self destructive.
