Study Says Gut Bacteria Cause Weight Gain

Bacteria are the core element of the body in the composition which are trillions in

numbers and perform multiple functions in the body.

Among other bacteria, gut bacteria play an important role in keeping good health by communicating

with the immune system and by producing certain vitamins for the body.

Gut bacteria also manages the process of digestion and produce such chemicals that feel like

the full stomach.

In this way, it influences your weight and it is claimed that gut bacteria cause weight

gain.

Gut Bacteria Body contains trillions of microorganisms

and bacteria even it is said that body comprises more bacteria than human cells because a human

body of 70 kg comprises of 40 trillion bacterial cells while 30 trillion human cells.

Most of them live in the cecum, a large intestine.

There are hundreds of bacterias and some of them make you healthy while some produce diseases.

Gut bacteria strengthen your immune system and help the body to fight against diseases.

But is this the only thing it does?

Effects of Gut Bacteria on Food Since gut bacteria resides in the intestine

which means they interact with food you eat, thus they must have effects on digestion process

and on nutrients or stored energy in the body.

One elegant study examined the performance of gut bacteria of 77 pairs of people as each

pair comprised one obese and one healthy member.

The study found that gut bacteria have different effects on both kinds of participants.

It is concluded that obesity is associated with the performance of gut bacteria.

What to do?

To help this cause another study has revealed that people taking high fibre contains less

weight as gut bacteria helps the stomach to digest fibre.

Inflammation Gut bacteria are best known for making immune

system strong, thus they prevent inflammation too, that might result in weight gain.

Inflammation occurs when body sets to fight any infection.

It can be caused by unhealthy diet like comprising extra fats calories and sugar.

There are certain species which produce lipopolysaccharide (LPS) which produce inflammation when they

ran into the blood.

A study examined 292 people found that overweight people have lower gut bacteria diversity while

higher levels do not.

Thus some species may help in reducing inflammation making gut bacteria functioning while others

may do the inverse.

They produce Chemicals that Control Hunger Basically, there are certain hormones that

control hunger in the body such as leptin, ghrelin and peptide.

Some studies find the role of bacteria in controlling these hormones that control hunger.

Short-chain fatty acids are produced during the process of digestion when gut bacteria

break down fibre, propionate.

Overweight adults taking regular propionate for 24 weeks increased the hormone level PYY

and GLP-1 in the body that influences hunger.

Thus people who take more propionate take less food and gain less weight.

People who eat 16 g of prebiotics per day for the fortnight has the higher level of

hydrogen in the breath that indicates bacterial fermentation.

Best and Worst Food for Gut Bacteria Fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, polyphenol-rich

food and fermented foods have comprised the fibre, healthy fats and other elements that

keep gut bacteria well-functioning.

But artificial sweeteners, Sugary foods and sugary foods have the potential of damaging

bacteria and cause diseases.

As it is evidence-based fact that gut bacteria cause weight gain, be careful about what you

eat.

RISE Star Damion J. Gillespie Talks NEWSIES, His Dream to Star in a Michael Jackson Musical & More - Duration: 7:33.

--NBC is premiering a new drama series tailor-made for Broadway fans. Rise, which

premieres on March 13th, tells the story of a teacher who takes over his high

school's drama program, and winds up inspiring his students with the magic of

theater. Damon J Gillespie has performed on Broadway in the ensembles of Newsies

and Aladdin, but is featured in Rise as a high school quarterback, who finds

himself starring in the school musical.

Gillespie recently came to the Broadway.com

studios to tell us more about this hotly anticipated news show.

--Damon, thank you

for coming in. -- Thanks for having me.

--So good to see you. Wow, congratulations .

--Thank you.

--Look at you, you're on a poster for a hot new NBC

show.

--I know it's pretty insane. It's really crazy.

--All right take me back and

I know that you you've been on Broadway. You've been in the ensemble on Broadway.

You were in Newsies. You were in Aladdin. How did this happen?

I know that Rise was like a big hot property. I know there was Broadway

people involved with it. So what happened? You just went in for an

audition?

--Well I had been auditioning for more principal roles for for a few

months, and because when I was in Aladdin, I actually got injured during the show.

Yeah, so I was like I probably can't do this for a long time. So I definitely

had told my agent I want to like you know try and go for principal roles and

I had been auditioning for them. And I had been doing more and more and more

and I got this audition and I booked it.

So, it's it's just it was it

was incredible and it's been an incredible ride.

--So let's talk about Rise.

So you play Robbie. -- I do.

--And you're the high school quarterback.

And Josh Radner plays a drama teacher who sort of he takes over the drama department

and inspires sort of the whole town and the school, and you're sort of the the

sports guy who winds up in the show, which is funny because I've interviewed

a lot of Broadway actors who tell me that's sort of how they started. They

started as like an athlete and then maybe they couldn't play suddenly and

then they ended up in the drama department. So I feel like that is sort

of a story that you hear a lot.

--Well it kind of happens. That happened with

me. I played sports growing up and, but I was a dancer as well. I was

primarily a dancer. And then I discovered musical theater. And there

comes a time when you're in ninth grade, where you go

I've stopped growing, probably not gonna be in football, I'm not gonna be in

basketball, don't play baseball enough, can't run that fast. Hmm.

All right well I

think I'm gonna have to choose theater over this. So it's and it happens more

often then I guess people think it does.

--So Robbie was very easy for you to sort

of click into? -- Yes. There's some there are

a lot of parallels that Robbie and I

share, but there are a lot of things that we don't share. Like he kind of grew up

very affluent and he's you know but he that doesn't mean he doesn't have his I

guess his baggage and his trials or tribulations. Like he has stuff going on in

his life that he is not allowed to share with the public, like that's in his

persona because he has this image. And when you come from you know small

town football, you're you don't show emotion like you're kind of trained not

to do that. It took me a minute actually to discover who Robbie was and once I

finally did, I was like I remember being this way, and I remember my family

members and my friends who were this way, and I know how it feels to have

something traumatic happen to you, and you are not allowed to let it bleed into

everyday life.

--Right, now theater kids are just gonna love this. I mean it's just

like perfect for Broadway fans.

--Oh yeah. Especially like our demographic with the

show we're doing, we're doing Spring Awakening, you know what I mean?

--I was going to say that. It's in the show,

in the show right you're performing Spring Awakening.

--Right well and as a

theater kid like, that's like a because Spring Awakening came out right when I

was in high school. So that was our, that was our Rent that was our you know

Hair and Rock of Ages.

--Generation has

--Yes they all have it in it, but Spring Awakening has

just kept it going it's like, that's the show that you need that you listen to as

a teenager when you're doing theater. And so, I think theater kids and theater

students, people doing this in general are gonna go, Oh, I know exactly what

that's like. You're walking down the halls and you're singing Song of

Purple Summer at the top of your lungs. Eveeryone's like who are, why why are you screaming?

Like, relax. --And you have

your own connection with Spring Awakening. So you

grew up in Chattanooga Tennessee, --I did.

--And that's really where you started doing

theater. You did a lot of shows down there? Right?

--Yes sir

--I love that you called me sir. You just showed off you're a good Tennessee boy.

--You know. --And

--Mama raised me right.

--And you actually did Spring Awakening?

--I did.

--You were Melchior in Spring Awakening. And in Rise you are

--Melchior in Spring Awakening.

--Which I love. --Kind of works out.

--And uh and who was your

Wendla when you did Spring Awakening in Chattanooga?

--My Wendla was my now

fiancé Grace

--That's adorable. --We met doing, we actually met doing

Spring Awakening the summer before my sophomore year of college, and I was in

Chicago doing, you know in school. Came home, found the show, found her. We kind of

stayed in touch when I went back to school, and fell in love.

--So what's the

what's the dream? I mean obviously getting a role like this on TV is a dream.

Hopefully you'll still come and do Broadway shows?

--Yes -- You're going

Hollywood on us.

--Yes. --Do you have any dream roles?

--I do. I have a few, actually

--We can make them come true if you verbalize them.

--Please. Gabe in Next to Normal has always been

--Okay. --A dream, a dream for me. As soon as a

spot opens up in Hamilton, I'll go in. I'll I'll beg for that, any role, even

I'll go back into the ensemble. I'm not joking.

--Well in the pilot of Rise you

are actually rapping and we get to see that a little bit.

That's sort of what makes them notice you.

--I had to audition with a rap, too, which not many people know, but I can actually, I write

my own raps. So...

--Yeah and Rise is actually created by Jeffrey Seller, the producer

of Hamilton. --Yeah. He's a part of it.

--You might have an in at Hamilton. --Right, right, right

So I'm like Jeffrey, come on!

Oh I think the dream, my one true, like if I can't get Gabe in Next

to Normal, it's, someone bring the perfect rendition of the Michael Jackson musical

to Broadway. I got you. I've got your move, I got your dancing. I got your I got

his voice .I got, listen...

--You could do that. Michael Jackson. --Let's go.

--Hey, let's go. That's a good idea.

--Yeah I'm down for it. Like I come on let

me play Michael! Let me play Michael.

--Well right now you are Robby.

--I am Robby. --And

like telling your friends, like about this, like it's really sort of like

everything for the people watching this on Broadway.com?

--Get your tissues.

It's a Jason Katims show, and if you didn't watch Friday Night Lights or

Parenthood, just get ready because we're taking This is Us's slot, so you're

you're not gonna get any relief. Like oh yes finally we get like... It's very

inspiring, but there are some heartbreaking moments on that show.

And I think every person is going to relate to somebody and that's the

beautiful thing about Jason's work is that no matter what., you are going to

relate to somebody in this in this TV show.

--So it premieres on the 13th, March

13th, and then it's gonna be on Tuesdays at NBC. Congratulations,

Hi I'm Tamara Lackey, on this episode of

redefine show for AdoramaTV

I speak with Matt Kloskowski about his work in

landscape photography and education,

and he shares just how powerful it is to do

personal work that matters to you,

whether you're paid in money you could

spend, or feedback if you can keep...

In terms of the work you shoot, all the

landscapes which are beautiful, you do

great landscape work, you already know

that. They're just like.. Of course! You are

not really doing that, well, I'll let you speak

to it, like how are you getting paid to

do that work. I don't get paid to that

work, and I never I actually never did. So

I really went yeah, I really went right

into photo education. I was a coder

sitting writing code behind a desk, and

then I went right into photo education,

and I didn't know it at the time, but as

time kind of came on I realized... that's

that's my job! I'm an educator, and for

years I think I tried to be a

photographer. I tried to get known as a

photographer, you know? Well you are

known as a Photographer. Yeah,

but it's I really rather be known you

know the bet, if somebody would send me

an email, at the end of the day seeing

something good, I would much rather than I

get an email that says "Matt I love your

photos they're amazing", I would much

rather get an email that says "Matt

you're education, like you're... this class

helped me, I get it I never got it before,

this helped me get..." I'll take that email

any day, over telling me that my photos

great yeah that's interesting so so

because you get questions.. that people

saying to you, oh my god, that's amazing

who paid you to go out there. Yeah who's

the client? Or okay nobody pays me, so if

I do go, if I, nobody pays me to shoot

anything I do. Landscapes I mean, good

luck getting anybody to pay you!

But keep going, don't give up.

Nobody.. but I think landscapes and travel

and outdoors that's very approachable to the

people.. that's, that's, what the people

that I talked to were doing.

Yeah and it's inspiring.

A fun soul thing, to get really good at.

Yeah some people can get paid, I don't!

But, but, you're finding that a lot of it

is, it, you're able to then utilize it, as

fodder for your courses. Don't get to say

fodder every day, that was fun!

Good use of the word. As fodder for your

courses, but also a lot of this is

basically what you know will people who

are at the top of the game will say, all

the time, which is, go after personal

projects, shoot what you love! Yeah, go

figure out, find out what you want to do.

Shoot it really beautifully, and then

figure out how to maximize the effort,

and that's when my landscapes took a big

turn. Yeah, because when I worked at Kelby,

I was trying to be everybody, you know

one week, you would come in. The next week

you know car photographer would come in,

next week wildlife, and like everybody

came in. Like okay I'm going to do wildlife,

now I'm going to do portraits, no I want to do

cars, come on and go, all over the place.

You ere shooting portraits and

I didn't know you did

that... you're like 'I don't' So, so, I did, I

tried to be everybody. I was probably

trying to find myself in a way and then

I kind of realized like what do I like?

My landscapes, it was always what I never

minded getting up early for, and that's

what I like the most and

that's what I like to view the most. I kind

of just, I'd set my mind to that, like

whenever I travel to a city and go a day

early, and find something to go shoot, you

know, and just, and that, that, once I did

that, that, once I said that is my goal,

like the, the landscape work, got so much

better. Yeah, yeah, amazing, but where can

what you do, a lot of your awesome

courses? You ready for this it's going to be

a really long, long, convoluted website,

come on with a name like MattK.com.

I was like Matt K? You got MattK.. I know

that's awesome!

I didn't have it at first, I had it, oh I

has Matt Kloskowskiand, then I

was like, I was buying all the

misspellings of URLs of my name.

40 different websites..Forwarding them and I

went and like Diana, was like, my wife

she was like, why don't you get Matt K?

And I'm like well it's sold like,

somebody owns it. And then she like want

to see if we want to sell it? I'm like

you're good. Oh yeah, so I contacted him

and they sold it how much was it? It's

like 800 bucks. Oh wow! that's great!

Yeah that's a good investment, well back

then, back then, it was! Yeah that was like

she I almost got slapped for paying 800

when I paid it, but it worked out alright!

INCOME UPDATE: Month 4 | Affiliate Marketing & Personal Branding | Journey to $10k Ep 32 - Duration: 3:28.

what's going on guys in today's video I want to give you a little bit of an

income update for the month of February so I'm gonna keep it nice and short and

give you a little bit of an update on what I'm doing and what I've been

working on the past month now I know some of the past videos have been update

videos but I want to keep you guys in the loop and keep you up to date with

what I'm doing because you know I'm documenting my journey so I think it's

only fair to share what I'm doing now I might not be going super in-depth in

these videos because you know I'm just getting started with some of these

topics but you know as I do get more you know more involved and I do start

getting more results with what I've been talking about I will go ahead and start

making more in-depth videos so I have been thinking about going ahead and

putting a hold on these income update videos until I actually start making

$10,000 per month pretty consistently I feel like I can go ahead and give a lot

more value in those videos rather than these videos I feel like I'm not giving

as much value but if you guys do like these videos which it does look like you

guys kind of do like them let me go ahead and know down below in the

comments if you want to keep me if you want me to keep on continuing these

income update videos month per month if you like them if you think they're

helpful or they're not helpful so for the month of February my income they go

up I made just shy of a thousand dollars I'm still promoting Odie's course and

still promoting click funnels and various other softwares now it might

seem weird like making money promoting a course but you know my niche is internet

marketing and all things marketing related so one of the big things and

best things that you can promote when you're doing marketing as your niche is

of course because courses they solve for a lot they convert extremely well and

commissions are typically high because for the course seller the overheads are

really low so they can afford to give you anywhere from 20 to 50 percent and

I've seen some courses you know the lower priced ones like ninety seven to

like two hundred bucks give a hundred percent commissions so if you're

interested going into the marketing niche or you know any other niche you

know each niche does have courses so try and look for courses to promote because

courses do convert extremely well and like I said high commissions so you do

make more money and it requires less people and less traffic to make the same

amount of money as if you were selling something that only makes you like five

to ten dollar mission so I'm pretty pumped that my

income did double the past month and it jumped to $1,000 per month but I'm

starting to focus on creating more evergreen content and that's what I've

been doing for the past month so that's why I didn't jump up a little bit higher

tomorrow's video is gonna be clickfunnels review video so if you guys

want to go ahead and skip that one you can because you know it's not gonna be

that much valley it's gonna be more of the evergreen content that I'm gonna try

being put then I'm gonna try and push and try and get ranked so that I can

make consistent sales from it so yeah I'm gonna be spending some time on

creating that but if you guys want to go ahead and stay tuned for the next video

Thursday's video is gonna be how to make $1,000 per month with affiliate

marketing so it's gonna be kind of like the Amazon FBA tutorial that I did it's

gonna be a little bit more step-by-step probably like a 15 20 minute video

showing you guys exactly how you can start making $1,000 per month so yep

I'll give you guys something to look forward so that's gonna be a good video
