Michael Bisping on his Believe You Me Podcast and was asked whether fighting Luke Rockhold
interested him more now that Luke said if he lost he would retire himself. He also delved
into thoughts of retirement and his hesitation to take the fight. For the full audio clip
check the link in my description box below. "well, it is very attractive. It certainly
is and it's certainly…Listen I already fought luke rockhold twice. Last time I beat
him in such dominant fashion and, you know, you can't really top that, now of course,
one could argue that that's a b***ch move. That I'm not willing to put it on the line
again, which of course, I am. But, honestly, I don't know if I'm ever going to fight
again. I don't know. Maybe I will, maybe I won't. If a deal comes my way that is
good enough, by the way, I'm not saying that as an insult to the UFC. You know, they're
going to run their business and I understand that, and I gotta run mine. You know, if it's
mutually beneficial to all parties included then, yeah I will fight. But if not, then
I'm happy with the way things were. I don't know. Listen, you know, I've talked about
it time and time again. The reason I say 'I don't know' is simply because there are
a lot of things going on in my life right now. I'm very busy and of course you've
got to want it and I do want it. I do enjoy it and I miss being in a fight camp and I
think that's one thing that all athletes have. That's the trouble of finally walking
away and I find myself, whenever I speak to an athletes and former athletes, I ask them
about their transition, because, it's something I'm curious about. But for me, when I was
younger, you know, fighting was just a way to make money of course, and I've been somewhat
successful in that department but I'm always scared of letting it go and saying goodbye
because once you close the door you close the door and you can never go back, and who
knows what the future is going to hold, you know what I mean? Maybe, it's going to be
bright and rosie and all sunshine and rainbows. Maybe, I'm going to have some dark Fu***g
days and I wish I took that one last fight vs Luke Rockhold. It's a tough one to figure
out."

he must make and said it could take as long as 8 months for him to be ready. He clarified
that if the numbers where right we could see him in the cage sooner. However, it's something
he has to talk with his team about. He even ranked himself on a scale from 1 to 10 in
different aspects of the game check it out. "My wrestling game is not that bad. On a
scale from 1-10 I would say it's probably a 7 and I think we could take it up to like
a 9, if possible. Of course, my hand game, is a 100 and kicking game probably a 4. So,
we have to tweak a few things to take things to the next level. I cant overlook or knock
any mma guy."
