Youtube daily report Mar 16 2018

Hey! Welcome on next exploration!

today I will show you a less tourist side of Athens

-the most dangerous district of this city

we start on the "omonia" square

where is a lot of: druggist,..

bullies and other bad things :)

you can not see it now but it's dangerous to be here at night

this is not my destination, we are heading to the Exarcheia district

which is full of anarchists

but now, we're going to the university..

in a moment, you'll find out why we're going there

the landmark moment for this district was...

anniversary of the death of Mr. Papandreou in 1973

students from this building organized a rally in his honor..

because they were anarchists, they disagreed with anything the government did

the police considered the demonstration illegal, which caused an outbreak of riots..

the effect of suppressing the riots was a wave of arrests and several deaths

from that moment, the face of this district has changed

from that moment, the police can not enter universities, this is probably closed...

it's all smudged with graffiti..

At this moment, this university during the riots in Athens is the place where...

..anarchist commanders have their headquarters

and manage all operations

you'll probably ask what anarchists are all about and what it all started with...

Greeks are a nation that does not like it as it commands or forbids something

anarchists do not like anything like government..

they prefer their own form of "democracy"

I'm not saying it's bad or good..

it's just a short description..

they disagree with the current order, that's why they created their enclave here...

the police are not allowed here, anarchists manage everything..

this is their enclave

let's go and ask if we can take pictures

I can not go inside, everything is closed...

I will skip this place, especially since I am in a foreign country, so I will not risk it

summarizing, in this building...

during riots, anarchists sit here and make all decisions

interesting, this lady going around the place without any problem :)

I was not allowed to enter because I am with a camera

I'm not surprised :)

Imagine something like that in Poland

for example, a district in Warsaw where everyone does what they want

the police are not allowed in there, they do not enter because they are scared :)

true story :)

many buildings in this district are illegally occupied (so-called squats )

residents also open taverns where you can cheaply drink beer..

because they take places illegally and do not pay any tax

the government can not deal with it, because too many people live in this distric

everyone accepted it. Something unthinkable in Poland

We have recently been in the center of Athens, in the district of Plaka which is full of tourists

but here. silence

peace and quiet

no one comes here without a specific purpose :)

we're almost at the main square

the heart of this district

it can not be said that anarchists are bad people

because they are not bad people

it is their lifestyle that must be respected

very often they are artists, painters or..

eee :)

singers or anyone else :)

there are a lot of artists in this district

this is a typical artistic district, where they often beat each other :)

around a lot of banners, which unfortunately I can not read

but it's easy to figure out what they mean

they do not agree with the government and general rules

interesting, abandoned building...

abandoned building...

behind the back of the cameraman, another abandoned building ;)

a lot of abandoned blocks of flats

Besides these

if someone lives in them, he does it illegally, without any control..

the government turns a blind eye to it

the government allowed them to live in their enclave..

the government probably thought it would be easier to control them

from what we know, it does not quite work for them :)

another interesting thing

it resembles a pharmacy or something related to medicine

because of the aesculapian snake on the wall

it is a place of help for all who are unrelated to the system

for all who do not work and have no guaranteed health care..

people without insurance can come on specific days and get medical help

but let's go back to the square

although anarchists do not want addicts in their neighborhood, drugs are present here..

otherwise, anarchists do not want drugs to be sold on the streets

that's why they often fight against the Egyptian mafia...

that's why this pub...

..around 2009

was fired by the Egyptians

because anarchists fight them, the Egyptians began to respond

take the opportunity to drink beer without tax :)

i meant juice. without tax :)

no one heard anything :)

look at this kiosk all in graffiti, fridge on the street, you can buy normal drinks here as everywhere

time passes calmly..

there is a Greek festival on Monday, people are walking around, there is a street market...

they probably start fasting, the holiday is called pure Monday..

I wanted to show you, despite the fact that this district is considered one of the most dangerous...

I do not feel threatened here, it is dangerous here during the escalation of riots only

during a normal day, it is peaceful here

nothing is happening, people are walking, it's ok :)

The gentleman greets you, normal people :)

a little more crazy than us :)

and now the question is who is more normal, government or they?

you can not judge it, the world looks like that and that's it

street philosopher

anarchists are polite and calm, they will not do anything to you..

they are very tolerant...

but now I can not record :)

I could not finish my sentence because...

I was noticed with the camera and I learned that I am not allowed to record here...

ok is allowed, but is not welcome

I was politely asked to turn off the camera

That's why we go to a different place..

and show you a squat

Immigrants live in one of them

public shower, along with the map how to get to it...

which way to go, everything for everyone

Behind me is a squat in which immigrants lived...

a family member left the building a moment ago

but after the last warning, I prefer to hide with the camera

we will go to a different place

we will go to a different place

something that may surprise you in Athens

there is a lot of grafiti everywhere, especially in this district

thanks to these paintings they can show....

(car is coming sorry )

...their views and everyone can see them

so the entire district is erased in graffiti

I learned about this district from Jarek, a Pole who lived in Athens for a long time...

Jarek, thank you very much for your help and telling the story of this district

but you were right not to show yourself with the camera...

the inhabitants probably think that I have come to spy, and it is not true :)

but one more time, thank you :)

we are slowly returning to the subway, thank you for today's episode

I hope you enjoyed it. the episode was short but I did not want to walk with the camera for a long time

You can see our other productions

subscribe our channel, give it a thumbs up

See you on the next exploration! hey!:)

In a domination dynamic of the youtube game

You have to bring a thumbs up!

AND put a comment on this video !!

THANK YOU !

Saturday

5 am

Direction Paris north for an infiltration

It was a few weeks since we had spotted the 130m high Pleyel tower

It rained so badly until 4am and we had to wait for the early morning

We are a little late on the schedule, we must hurry a little

First climbing option: the two successive fences

to be up, go on the right and drop behind

So the simplest thing is to climb on the container so we can drop behind

The problem here is that there is the guards HQ right in front so we should go through the basement to be more stealth

The Guards HQ is right there

The start of the climb is very exposed, to be more safe we gonna take the stairs to the 1st floor

and start climbing from the 2nd

We are really late on the schedule, it's sunny

We have to hurry up before the streets are too crowded

Go go

We are at a quarter of the climb

It's a bit physical

But on the other hand.. What a view !

Not bad !

Come on bro

Wow! Oh yeah !!

Here we are dude!

We did it !

We finally reached the top of the building

I think nobody saw us, we'll be able to take the time to do things

Small shooting

Clement standing, in balance, on the hoist

The light is cool, the landscape is awesome

Hey he scares me when he does that *laugh*

I do not like it when he does that

I do not like it when it does that .. it gives me .. You know you are scared for your friend

When you do it by yourself, you feel good because you are confident, you control

But even if I trust him, see him doing it .. You know.. I do not feel things by myself

It scares me more than doing it myself

So I take pictures, I think about something else, I think about my shot and then I forget the rest

We just finished the shoot, so now we will finish the climb by reaching the top of this thing

The problem is that it moves a lot, we will try to climb it to have an overview of the entire city

And it's nice weather, it's hot, we feel good and for now everything is going well

Let's go !

You can make it go faster I think

Yeah be careful, there is a sign "warning electricity"

Clem is a bit scared of electric things

I have the phobia of being electrocuted stupidly

We have to take care because if we get stuck in the blades up there

We have to explain something, there is an optical effect too weird

We are on a stable platform but it revolves around us

But when you look there you get the impression that we are the ones who are moving

And when we are going to be on the main structure, we will be stable because we will be in the movement

But here I have the impression that we will be stuck by the blades at each pass

It's very weird

It's a funny sensory experience

Oh my god brooooo !!!!!!

* BADASS MUSIC *

Yeah buddy ! Hit the Road is back my friend

Hit the Road on the tower, Hit the Road coming into your living room

to show you how to infiltrate building !

BOUYA AHAH !!

Hell Yeah!

A new video every Thursday 6pm

George Secor's Miracle Scale - Duration: 6:43.

hey, welcome to 12tone! today we're gonna talk about Blackjack, Canasta, and Miracles.

these are all names for scales based on the work of George Secor, whose was attempting

to reconcile the concepts underlying modern music with the radical, experimental work

of theorist Harry Partch, inventor of the Genesis scale.

we've talked about this before, and if you want a full explanation I recommend checking

that video out, but to summarize as briefly as I can, Partch felt that modern music had

been corrupted by the concept of equal temperament, which is basically the idea that, if two pairs

of notes look like they're the same distance apart, they should sound like it too. for

instance, this, this, and this are all major thirds, and while each one starts on a different

note, the actual sonic distances between those notes remains the same.

that sounds like a good thing, but there's a reason Partch didn't like it: everything's

out of tune. you see, when we hear notes, what we're really hearing is a sound wave

with a specific frequency, and when we hear multiple notes at once our brain calculates

the ratios between those frequencies, which is what we hear as distance.

whether those notes sound good or bad together depends primarily on how simple those ratios

are: the 2:1 ratio gives us an octave and 3:2 makes a perfect 5th, generally considered

the two most consonant intervals, whereas a harsh sound like the tritone uses the much

messier ratio 25:18. in equal temperament, though, we don't get any of those nice, simple

ratios.

well, except for the octave. we keep that, but for the rest we get approximations, and

in some cases not very good ones.

the 5:4 ratio of a major 3rd should sound like this, but if you played it on a piano

you'd hear this instead.

ok, that may not sound very different, but to a theorist, it's a big deal.

in order to get our beautiful consistency, we need to sacrifice our perfect ratios, and

Partch didn't think that trade-off was worthwhile.

instead, he developed what has come to be known as the Genesis Scale, which he built

out of pure, whole number ratios.

the Genesis Scale is what's known as an 11-limit scale, because its ratios only use numbers

up to 11. for instance, it has 3:2, 7:4, and 11:9, but not 13:12.

actually, technically some of its ratios do include numbers larger than 11, but that's

only to keep things within a single octave.

Partch's scale included the ratio 11:10, but he also wanted to include the upside-down

version, 10:11. this note is below the root of the scale, though, so to fix that he brought

it up an octave, multiplying the frequency by 2 to get 20:11. it's still the same interval,

just flipped around a bit.

Partch also included some extra, more complex ratios to fill the larger gaps in his scale,

but Secor didn't seem to care about those, so we won't either.

anyway, that's the fastest I could explain Partch's work, but let's move on.

Secor wanted to find a way to approximate the Genesis Scale using, wait for it… equal

temperament.

Partch's nemesis.

yeah, I'll give that a moment to sink in.

ok, technically his approach was based on linear temperament, which is kinda the next

best thing, but in order to understand the difference, we first have to talk a bit more

about intervals.

normally, the smallest interval we deal with is the half-step, which is exactly one twelfth

of an octave, but on the scales Secor was working with, the half-step is huge.

when we're dealing with small differences like this, theorists like to use a unit called

a cent.

there's a hundred cents in a half-step, and twelve hundred cents in an octave.

they're too small to actually hear, but they give us a really precise way of describing

the differences between very similar intervals.

got it? cool.

anyway, back to linear temperaments.

these are systems of tuning that are based on what's called a generator, which is a single

interval that you use to construct the entire scale.

for instance, in our normal tuning, the generator we use is a slightly flat perfect 5th, which

is 700 cents wide.

we pick a starting note, like this D, then go up 700 cents, which takes us to a new note,

A. then we do it again, which brings us to 1400 cents total.

that's larger than an octave, though, so to keep this from spiraling out of control we

bring it down, subtracting 1200 cents and leaving us with 200, giving us the note E.

then we go up to 900 cents, or B, then to 1600 or 400 cents, F#, and so on, until we

finally make it back to 0 and start all over again.

because that cycle is closed, this is an equal temperament system.

however, not every generator actually makes it back to 0.

Pythagorean tuning is based on a completely precise perfect 5th, which is a little less

than 702 cents wide, and no amount of cycling through will ever get you back to where you

started.

in these systems, you usually just pick a point where it's close enough and then stop.

this creates what's called a wolf interval, which is a generator interval that's a different

size from all the others, and you usually try to bury it somewhere in the scale where

it's not likely to be played all that much.

for instance, Pythagorean tuning's wolf fifth sounds like this, and it's usually hidden

between the b5 and the b2 of the scale.

anyway, Secor's goal was to find a generator that could very closely approximate every

ratio in Partch's 11-limit scale, and after some experimentation he eventually settled

on an interval of roughly 116.7 cents, a unit that has since been named the secor in his

honor.

this is slightly larger than a typical half-step, and depending on how deep you want to go,

it can yield some very interesting results.

if we just pick a root and go up a secor at a time, we get this: (bang) which I've seen

called the Miracle scale, although that name will come up again later.

this is a simple ten-note tuning system, with a pretty large wolf interval at the end.

this bit here (bang) is almost 30% larger than a normal secor.

if we add another octave's worth, we get this (bang) a 21-note tuning system that's often

called the Blackjack scale, which I think is pretty clever.

going through again gets us a 31-note system called Canasta (bang) which is a reference

I don't get but I'm sure is hilarious to Canasta players.

the 41-note version is sometimes called Studloco, which is another card game reference 'cause

why not.

I'm not gonna bother playing it because at this point it gets hard for the untrained

ear to tell the difference anyway, and besides, walking up the whole thing a step at a time

isn't really the point.

we can keep adding octaves from here, but let's just skip ahead to the final form: the

true Miracle tuning, with 72 steps.

again, not gonna play it, it just sounds like a weird slide.

anyway, this Miracle tuning contains approximations of every single interval in the Genesis scale

to within three and a half cents, which is absurdly precise.

the smallest difference humans can hear is generally considered to be 5-10 cents, so

for all practical purposes, it's basically identical.

it's also really close to an equal temperament tuning: the secor is almost completely indistinguishable

from the interval of 7 steps in 72-tone equal temperament, which is what you'd get if you

took a normal piano and, in between every two consecutive keys, added 5 extra notes.

this means that we can just use that system instead and get pretty much the exact same

benefits, which I think wraps up this story nicely: we've managed to find an equal-temperament

system that is virtually indistinguishable from the complex scale Harry Partch invented

in order to escape equal temperament.

AND it's based on normal, 12-note tuning. it's beautiful, really.

*laughs* sorry, I just…

I love it so much.

How to Make a Meme (2018): Shooting Stars, Triggered, Salt Bae, Mind Blown | Memes Maker + Presets! - Duration: 14:42.

hey guys in this video we're gonna show you how to make the greatest art known

to mankind the meme will cover videos gifs and photo a meme is a symbol of our

culture and society usually to ridicule ourselves the whole purpose of a mean is

to laugh and express ourselves the majority of memes are pictures but

there's also videos and gifs even verbal expressions

can make almost any type of meme with our video and me maker try it free by

clicking on the link above or in the description below and follow along with

our tutorial

so the first thing to do is to open up our program called Tamura you'll import

your video by clicking here and dragging it onto your timeline so let's cut the

video down so that it starts when he's stretching let's end it here right after

he's almost destroys the table now we have to place the timeline marker at the

last frame of our sequence and make a still shot from this frame by clicking

here that still appears automatically in your media library here it is drag it to

the end of your timeline and give it a few seconds okay now let's get the

trigger template that I made for this video for everybody to use that needs it

it's in the description below a present from me to you so we'll put it on the P

IP layer when our still frame starts select the clip and click here in the

icon that says green-screen in the tool bar a new window opens up and here

you'll just need to check the box let's see how it looks cool it's missing some

movement though let's go to the filters to add some camera shake you can select

the direction and how much you want it to shake this needs chaos

all right we need to add mouse and blur still in filters let's select the

distortion category and then blur let's see

perfect you can adjust some properties by selecting the effect then clicking

here I like what we got so let's just let it be okay last thing the red tint

of anger select the still image on the main track and then the Edit icon in the

toolbar here you can play around with the color correction settings you can

fry up your image by raising the saturation and contrast there's even lux

you can use here are some but if you pressing the advanced or in the color

palette icon in the toolbar there are more options to change the color of your

image we're gonna make it more red by playing with the white balance let's go

here in color raise the saturation and add more

vibrance yeah nice and fried awesome very pleased with the result let's just

add one more thing I can't see very well the finger that pokes them so we're

gonna add some text select text here in the toolbar then we're gonna choose any

that looks plain simple okay this one when the finger strikes we're gonna

right boop you can reposition it and rotate it the other one we're gonna just

erase it on the left side of this text settings click on animation and select

no animation so we can have our text appearing when the guy is being poked

let's cut down a duration and we're ready to export click here where it says

export and in the new window select any of the video formats it's better to go

with mp4 as it keeps the video small but with high quality if you click here in

the Settings tab you can change the quality of your video I'm gonna export

as best let's change to 20 3.97 is my videos framerate click OK then

export

there you go next you'll need the video of the person you want to travel through

space in a video or picture of a galaxy okay drag the main video to the timeline

we're gonna shorten this clip to have just a part after he jumps there now

we're gonna put the timeline marker where we want this guy to go into space

and we'll make a cut let's cut it down a little bit more here at the end place

the marker on the cut you made click here to make your first still image you

can see them here in the media library when they appear now we have to go out

of film or for a bit and go to photo fire if you don't have that you can

download it on our web page here so now we have to open the cutter we're

gonna take the background of each one of those stills here in photo fire I can

select the areas I want to remove and the areas I want to keep save your image

as a PNG let's get back to filmora import the still images without the

background in the P IP layer we're gonna drag the stills

adjust the timing and then you could copy and paste the still images so they

repeat and create a nice movement while he falls if you want to get into more

detail you can do a smoother movement by reorganizing the frames copy the second

the last one and paste it at the end then the third to last one fourth one

and so on when you finish select them all except

the very first one copy and paste it as much as you want now we're gonna take

the galaxy background let's put the steel image at the bottom P IP layer so

we can see them and let's add more

finally you'll need to get the song called shooting stars by bag riders we

also made our own cover of the song which you can find in the description

below so what you'll need to do is sync the music to the video when the galaxy

appears the strong their beat starts

now export by clicking here and we're going to export with the same settings

as the trigger video next

so for this one once you have your footage on the timeline you're gonna cut

parts of the beginning and end to make shorter so you just have the part where

the salt Falls now I want to adjust the speed of the clip so it looks slower to

do this click on the video and move the speed slider bar to the left I'll put in

a 5 second per frame which is a good speed for a jiff let's see the result

sweet now I'm going to export select the format icon and make sure to select chip

format that is near the bottom of the list to change the resolution in the

frames per second click on settings the original

resolution of the video was 1920 by 1080 I'm gonna download it so it can be

easily shared and uploaded online I'll leave it at 640 by 360 as for the frames

per second try to use between 12 to 15 because you want a small file size for

the gif to be easily shared around the internet click on accept and then export

I'm gonna make a quick cut to resemble the original mind blowing we're gonna

add so effects now to have the head exploding

here we have some explosions bullets electricity and more explosions all of

these effects you can get them on our effects store check it out here unlike

this let's add some meteors in here so they play throughout the video

nice what I look for is the galaxy effects here they are the shockwaves

let's use this one for the first mind-blown we're gonna make it bigger

and position it in his head to make the shockwave blend better with our footage

we're gonna change the blend mode double-click the clip of the shock wave

and click the advanced button in this new window select the composition tab

then in the drop down menu you can find different options you can select so the

effects blend better with the original footage we're gonna select hard light

for the second mind-blown we're gonna select this other effects shockwave to

again adjust the size and position and then select a blending mode I need to do

something let's go back a bit and add another effect to the first mind-blown

yeah that should work better now for the third one I'm gonna select the shock

wave 9

let's make this one a huge explosion there cool

something is missing though maybe the second line blown needs more sparkles

here let's try this one okay back to the third - potion let's add one more effect

at the end now that we have two effects for each one of the line explosion

perfect let's cut the chunk at the end and we're ready to export you can export

it as a video or a jiff as I showed you in the previous example next to make a

picture meme in filmora is easy get the video or picture you want to make a meme

we're gonna make it when I raise my arms make a cut where you want to take the

snapshots to remember the location and here we're gonna add some explosion

effects as I'm burning go to the elements tab on the tool bar and if you

get to blockbuster effects pack there's so many different options for making

myself explode

this one's perfect let's add another smoke cloud to add that extra flavor we

could add a blend mode to the smoke so it's not covering my face this one's

good

okay now we just need text go to the text tab on the toolbar we're going to

select any simple text we're gonna edit it later then we're gonna go inside the

advanced setting by clicking here in this new window we can change the size

the font we're going to use impact you can reposition your text wherever you

want it to be in the picture we can add some border to the text let's just leave

it like this it's not necessary but if you want you can delete the animation at

the beginning of the clip just click here in the composition then the first

square that says no animation you could also add a box behind the text so it has

All Pipes Considered — Savinelli Punto Oro/Giubileo d'Oro Churchwardens - Duration: 5:55.

Adam: Hey, everybody, I'm Adam O'Neill.

Sykes: And I'm Sykes Wilford.

Adam: And welcome to another episode of All Pipes Considered.

We're gonna be talking about Savinelli pipes today, specifically 18 pipes that we've got

on site a bit later today.

Sykes, why don't you tell us a little bit about the ... Well, you went and picked these

pipes out in January, correct?

Sykes: Yes.

So, at the very end of January, I went to see Savinelli's, as I do a couple times a

year.

And this time, I don't know what sort of stars aligned or what, but they had a spectacular

selection of Giubileo d'Oro and Punto Oro pipes for me to pick from, and I was super

excited.

Maybe got a touch carried away, as I sometimes do when presented with really nice pipes.

Adam: Yeah, I was in the room when ... They just took over an entire conference room the

day these came in, there were just pipes as far as the eye can see, it was a little bit

crazy, but very special at the same time.

So, I'm a little bit fascinated by these churchwardens.

We've got some Punto Oro and some Giubileo d'Oro churchwardens, is that?

Sykes: Churchwardens, yeah.

We have some of both.

What we have here is a selection of what will be on the website later today, so it'll be

18 pipes later, but we only have 9 obviously out.

Part of today's update is the first big selection of Punto and Giubileo d'Oro churchwardens

that we've seen in ...

Adam: A while.

Sykes: A year and a half at least.

Adam: At least.

Sykes: Yeah.

And so we have some really nice stuff.

We have a spectacular Giubileo d'Oro churchwarden Smooth in the 104 shape, and a couple of really

nice Punto Oro naturals.

This one's in the 207 shape, the bigger of the two apples, and it's just really exciting

to ... You know, we don't see the churchwardens that much, we get a decent selection of Punto

Oros, and we get other churchwardens in other series from Savinelli, but to see churchwardens

in their highest grade, it just doesn't happen that often, and we were able to get a reasonable

number of-

Adam: Give that one back to you.

Sykes: ... both, which, as I said, I think the previous time was about 18 months ago.

Adam: At least yeah.

Sykes: In the same vein, there was a nice selection of Bing's Favorite Punto Oros that

I was able to pick from, and this particular example's really nice.

Adam: That is, and we don't get those, the Bing's Favorites in the higher grades that

often, do we?

Sykes: I think Smoking Pipes has had, ever, I think this will make it like four or five.

Adam: I can't remember one ever coming through, but it's been a while since I've handled every

pipe that came into the building, so I'm not gonna attest.

Sykes: We've had a small number previously.

Between Giubileo and Punto Oro.

Adam: And then some petites, yeah?

Sykes: Yeah.

And this was ... I love the little pipes from Savinelli.

Adam: Oh, hey.

Sykes: Yeah.

And so I was really excited to see more petite Giubileos, or, well, petite Puntos in this

case, excuse me.

Adam: Right.

Sykes: And they don't make that many of the smaller bowls, and so they don't have ... So,

the way Punto Oro and Giubileo work, is it's the top, top couple percent of the quality

of bowls that they have, from running the shape, for everything.

So, for example, I'm holding a Petite 105 from the regular Petite series.

You have to make an awful lot of these in order to make-

Adam: Get one of these.

Sykes: ... one of what you're holding right there.

And so we just don't see them that often.

We get a handful a year, and again, for whatever stars-aligning reasons, I was just able to

pick from a really good selection of them this trip.

Adam: That's, the blast on that one is insane.

Sykes: That's sweet.

Yeah.

I have a-

Adam: That is really interesting.

Sykes: Punto Oro Sandblast Petite 105 like that, but that one is nicer than my one.

Adam: Well, I'm gonna snatch that and just make you jealous.

"See if I care," he says.

And then, the pièce de résistance.

Sykes: Yes.

So, they showed this to me, and my first reaction was, "Well, what's that?" because this is

the very first Giubileo d'Oro Sandblast Natural Unstained that has ever been, in the 140-year

history of Savinelli.

Adam: So, speaking of stars aligning, there's some serious stars align to make not only

one of their best stummels that they can produce in this shape, but then have it turn out so

well-

Sykes: It came out perfectly.

Adam: ... like the Sandblast, too, they can just leave it unstained.

Sykes: Just leave it unstained.

And it's funny, I was having a conversation with the factory manager and the export manager

there, looking at this pipe, and they're like, "Well, we don't really know what to do with

this, but it's really nice, and we didn't wanna mess with it.

We didn't wanna stain it."

I'm like, "Good call."

Adam: Don't!

Just leave it.

Sykes: Just have it be a one-off.

Adam: Whack a stamp on it and sell it to us, it's done.

Sykes: Yeah, it was really special.

And so it also comes with this very nice presentation box, but that is a really special pipe.

Adam: And of course, being a natural, that's gonna patina, sort of like the tobaccos you

smoke and how you handle it, so a year or two, and that is gonna be truly a one-of-a-kind

pipe.

So yeah, that's gorgeous.

Alright, well, as we said, these are coming on sight later today, so thanks for joining

us, Sykes.

Sykes: Thank you.

Adam: And thanks for watching, guys.

Have a great day.

Sykes: Thanks so much.

AM I GOING TO MAKE IT ?! (470ft) - Duration: 9:09.

* radio music*

* BADASS MUSIC *

Yeah buddy ! Hit the Road is back my friend

to show you how to infiltrate building !

L'histoire racontée par des chaussettes - LA CONTROVERSE DE VALLADOLID - Duration: 4:53.

Histoooooorrryyyyyy

told byyyyy

soooooooooooooocks

its so funny !

[spits]

Ugh!

Oh, beg your pardon.

What is it?

I'm not happy!

So what's the problem?

I've been reading about, like,

they had trials in earlier times

that were really unfair to people.

Which makes me mad!

Stop hitting me!

What exactly has got you so worked up?

I read that there was a kind of trial

with an indigenous man

who didn't have a soul, they said...

like "un indien dans la ville "

No, it was called the Valladolid Controversy.

What the heck was that?

Er, well, find out in this episode.

Right! We are here today

to decide whether indigenous people have a soul.

Your Honour, I beg leave to speak.

Counsel, the floor is yours.

I believe that this question can be swiftly resolved.

What do they cover their heads with?

Feathers!

And what else is covered in feathers? Ostriches!

And what is an ostrich?

humm........

A bird!

Yes, your Honour, but more precisely...?

A peculiar bird!

which belongs to the class of...?

Funny and peculiar birds!

Yes, but hang on, let me get you on the right track,

it's in the kingdom of Ani...

- Don't tell me, don't tell me!

- I'm not going to tell you,

just give you a hint...

I'll have the courtroom cleared if you tell me!

So here's the hint... the kingdom of ani...

...VERSARIES!

Your Honour, what does an ostrich have to do with anniversaries?

I panicked, I just panicked!

Well, it's...

ANIMALS!

I knew it!

Sure you did.

I did know it!!

Okay you knew it, but even so... do animals have a soul?

I'm afraid to answer, now...

Go on! You'll get this one right!

do animals have a soul… er, no?

"No" is correct. Animals don't have souls,

he is an ostriche,

so he can't have a soul.

Time for lunch!

Wait, wait!

I can get rid of my feathers!

Oh, he's got rid of his feathers!

yes, yes, he has.

Just like a lot of animals,

he moults.

oh la la ! you're a genius!

Seriously!?

Do you fancy an omelette? hm ? omelette ?

I could murder an omelette.

-You stay here.

I've got the right to defend myself.

He wants to defend himself.

Who does?

The indigenous man.

He just said so!

Your Honour,

since when has an ostrich been able to speak?

Didn't you hear him?

When he said: "I want to defend myself...?"

No, no, you must be hallucinating -

I didn't hear a thing.

I'm gonna pee on the eyebrows of your ancestors!

I could take this the wrong way but I won't

because I haven't heard it.

Even so, it's quite a coincidence

that you say that just after he said something.

That's not the issue!

The question is: "What is it that can't speak?"

Birds!

Exactly.

And as he's a bird,

so, he can't have a soul,

its omelette time!

Parrots can talk...

They're the exception that proves the rule!

Aha - you heard him say that!

No, no! I didn't hear it,

I was responding to something else which somebody else said... this morning...

Which was?

Matilda's a great cook,

even though she's a leper who's lost both her arms.

Matilda...good cook... leper...no arms...exception which proves the...

Okay, that works for me!

And it's wham, bam,

omelette in the pan! Let's get rolling!

Now just hang on! We've messed about and had a good time,

but this still doesn't prove that indigenous people don't have a soul.

How can we prove it?

How about shooting him with a silver bullet?

Isn't that for vampires?

Number 1 that's an idiotic idea

and number 2 - it's for werewolves.

We could stick a stake in his heart!

No, that's for...

Vampires!

Vampires!

one point to me ! i don't give a damn what anyone else says, I said it first!!

He said it first ! one point to him !

Seriously....

Wait! I know! If he's got a soul he must be able to hear me.

I can hear you very well, Sir...

But we don't have any proof that he can hear me.

So how can we get it?

The only way would be for him to repeat a sentence...

a random sentence like, for example:

"Once, when I was at my cousin's, I drank my own pee."

You're sure that that's the only way of proving he has a soul?

Well, I can't see any other way...

Mr Indigenous Man, what are we saying?

What are we doing?

Listen, Your Honour...

Nature is my mother and the animals of the forest are my family...

the rain, the wind and the sun are my guides and I and my people follow them.

I don't know if I have what you call a soul,

but if the fate of my people depends on it,

then I'll do anything you want,

even if it brings me shame.

Go on then!

- Umm...

Once, at my cousin's, I drank my own pee.

Ooh, he said it!

Oh! Oh! He said it!

Counsel, he's put you in your place!

it doesn't really matter that I've lost

I rather enjoyed it!

it is my official verdict

that indigenous peoples have a soul !

Thank you, Your Honour.

see, these ostriches are polite

I agree !

On the other hand you were our slaves,

but now that we know you've got a soul

we can no longer use you as unpaid labour...

we just need to say that black people don't have a soul...

Yes, but how to prove it?

what is there that's black?

The night!

The night can't talk, and it's not a parrot.

It's not an ostrich either.

It therefore follows that...

it doesn't have a soul!!

Right, omelettes all round!

Yay!

Oh, I'm starving. Woo Hoo!

And so it was that the Valladolid Controversy was concluded

and hypocrisy invented!

According to socks, at any rate.

The one you've been waiting for Is she the one

Is she the one

Is she the one The one you've been dreaming of

Is she the one

I'm tired of staying up all night With you on my mind

Still, I'm laying here Yeah, I'm laying in the shirt you used to like

No I shouldn't mind All I think about is

Does she move your body Like I moved your body

Cuz I wanna Know, yeah I Wanna Know

Does she make you feel wanted Is she all you wanted

Cuz I wanna Know, yeah I Wanna Know

I want to know

I want to know Is she all you wanted

Cuz I want to know, yeah I wanna know

Is she the one That I couldn't be for ya

Is she the one

I hate that you were the one That I'll never get over

That I wanna get closer to I'm tired of staying up all night

I gave my best

So let me go and fade away now

I bid farewell to kings and jesters

we'll meet again

The ferry is here

the coins are drawn now

I keep you

my sweetest friend

I turn my head

back to the banks

and leave this story

an open end

So let me go and fade away now

let me go and fade away

I bid farewell to kings and jesters

My Cafe: Festival Preps - Duration: 4:35.

hey everyone I'm Ola and today we are going to play My Cafe: Recipes & stories

in this video I'm going to show you the infographics from Anna Smith about how

to prepare for the festival so I made a video about that so let's go

so this time it's going to be a video for Township members and how to prepare

for the festival and it's going to be useful for everyone who wants to take

more tasks and who wants to fulfill more tasks as well now this festival is going

to be special and townships are going to get special sapphire, golden or silver

cubs according to the number of trophies that they get. so this is why I

have taken the infographics from Anna Smith and made a video out of them you

can also see more infographics and more information about my cafe in our

Pinterest because we have launched a Pinterest recently so let's start and

the first thing that you shouldn't do is Township orders. They are refreshed just once

a day so don't do your town orders on Thursday do them on Friday after the

festival starts together with your Friday town orders. this task will help

you in 'collect rubies', in 'phone orders' and 'serve a specific spice or dish' tasks

you can accept them but don't actually fulfill them. the same thing is about

phone orders like don't do your phone orders before the festival starts and

keep them to finish quickly phone order tasks, or serve a specific dish and

serve more than 100 dishes tasks.

another point is to keep your overnight income

just don't collect it from the server's and baristas especially from Ann, before

the festival starts - you can save it even better from Thursday morning, it will

help in earn coins in any way task. It is going to be easy for you guys.

then we have the daily bonus

don't play the daily bonus before the festival starts

you can use it to get to blue gifts or get two pink gifts, watch ads, get

coins in any way tasks

just don't use your tickets during the week but collect them

yeah I've got coins right now

also don't watch commercials. don't watch ads but

keep them for watch ads tasks: the daily bonus and no more videos count as well

you may also want to play dice with margaret only after festival starts but

it's done best only on Friday and Saturday because it is safer then.

because you don't want to start playing with her on Sunday evening and then you

can't do it and you won't have anything to do with this

also, 'coins in gifts': there is a

very special task, coins in gifts, it's a very tricky one. so you need to collect

at least 30 simple gifts to finish the 'find coins in gifts' tasks, just keep

saving your gifts and don't spend them, because it also correlates a lot with

the special orders because when you don't have a lot of spices just don't do

white orders during the week do it only if you have more than 30 simple gifts

because you can spare those gifts on white orders or for other tasks and then

30 simple gifts will be kept for finding coins in gifts.

as for the special orders fill up your spice box during the

week making phone orders, making township

orders, just don't open your gifts and keep them for the festival.

do your special orders up to the yellow level an hour and a half, two hours before the

festival starts for VIP four or five.

just make sure that you have enough spices for the festival

a very nice thing about special orders for VIP

players is that now you can count how many attempts are remaining

that you can suggest something else to your customers which is really great

and the final thing is to collect simple gifts from Ann.

just do it only after the festival

starts because you can use it for 'the get simple gifts' tasks. so this is a very

quick guide I hope it will help you

well then thank you very much for playing with me

I hope you have enjoyed this video if you did then please put your

thumbs up and subscribe to my channel and let's play together

don't forget to click the bell to get all the news about the game from my video

I am also glad to reward five best comments under my previous video,

which was released last Friday,

and the list of the winners is right here thank you very much guys

I really appreciate your ideas and questions and if you also want a pink

gift please write a comment below this video and include some good original

ideas and questions about the game or about my videos

don't forget to leave your player ID this is a combination of numbers

in the bottom left corner of the game settings

I will announce five winners next Friday

till then have fun in the game

and see you next time bye bye

The last of winter ~ Bronica SQ-Ai, Ilford HP5+ - Duration: 15:11.

Hello, guys, so i'm talking to you

From the Salamonie River State Forest, somewhere farther south in Indiana. I wanted to get out

Today and tomorrow

Because the conditions are gonna be good for photography or for the kind of photography that I like, and what I mean by

That, is that it's gonna be foggy or it's supposed to be foggy, because

The last few times that I went out

Expecting fog it wasn't that successful it was not foggy... but after last

week's snowstorm, now all this snow an ice is starting to melt

It's getting much warmer now so all that moisture has to go somewhere, and i'm hoping that it creates a cool

fog today and tomorrow

hoping to photograph the last of winter maybe here i think it's pretty much over i'm afraid

I love it, I love to photograph

snow and snowy landscapes but. So yeah trying to make the best of what we have left here

Hopefully finding a few shots. It's always really hard for me to tell what

What's gonna happen in a video because my plans always change a lot depending on the weather, and whatnot. I'm not always

Making the best decisions but i like to change and to be flexible. But as usual you are more than welcome to come

along with me, so let's do it

As I walk through the forest i realized, that the snow and ice were melting much faster than I thought

There wasn't much time left to enjoy this winter wonderland that was fading away

I had a lot of fun shooting here this winter. I believe that this place has helped me improve

my photography more than any other so far

This was a brand new landscape for me. Flat, without

clear subjects. There are no big vistas, mountains, or rock formations here like the ones you can find out west

You have to work much harder to find the subject

There's a lot of driving involved too and not so much hiking

But the winter and the extraordinary conditions that this land offers you at times can make it a very extraordinary and beautiful place to photograph

The gods of photography waited until i was heading back home to give me

just a brief glimpse of that foggy weather I was looking for

Also an amazing sunset

But it was going to be the next day, when i got what i wanted

Good morning. So I wanted fog, and I got fog. A lot of fog

Now it's up to me what to make out of this day. I'm ready. A little bit tired, but ready

So let's drive to Michigan City

Okay, where do i start, oh my. A few things have happened in the last few hours. So the drive to Michigan City

was a little bit frustrating because I saw

a lot of scenes that I wanted to photograph really bad, but it was so foggy

and snowy. It's really hard on those roads, they're kinda narrow

and the shoulders as I said many times

They are covered in snow, so there is no place to stop

And there is quite a bit of traffic so yeah, not a good idea. But I kept taking detours here and there

So I think I took a few photos. I don't remember too well now,

but I think I took a photo of a tree in the distance

Then I think I took a photo of some ducks

They were there kind of cool too, but I don't know if the photo is gonna be any good

What else? Oh, I took three shots at an old gas station

that I found on the highway, so I could stop there

And that was cool although there were signs of no trespassing everywhere so I couldn't get any closer. And then the fun began

Because I got to Michigan City. So I had directions to Washington Park, that is at the shore of Lake Michigan

But instead of going there I went to a park, right now I don't even remember

the name, but I saw it on google maps driving into the city I was like... I should check it out

Because it could be cool. And this place was so cool.

It was foggy, full of snow, very cool trees

So I don't have too many clips from that park, because I was focused on taking photos, but whatever I have i'm gonna play it now, I'm gonna show

you the photos that I really really hope turn out

If those photos come out as I imagine them right now in my mind

this trip was already worth it just for that. But after that it was still 10 a.m.

I decided to come to the Indiana Dunes, here, for many reasons but one of them

was that I had to go to the bathroom and i was here last week and I know that there is a

nice bathroom here, and the other reason it was to check out Lake Michigan

Because there is a nice view of the lake from here, and to see how

how the visibility

was. It's pretty terrible as I thought, you can't see anything

And then it happened. I was there at the dunes taking some photos and I decided to, I don't know why

it wasn't even a good photo. Two trees in the distance

that looked kind of cool, they were not but I don't know

Why I decided to try it, try to take that shot, and in order to

To get a clear view of those trees, I had to go down just a little bit, down a slope

And I fell.

And my camera fell with me.

This that you can see here is the shape of my camera in the sand.

When I picked it up it was full of sand, and snow, and ice. It was a mess, oh my god.

I thought I'd lost the camera. So I spent the last two hours cleaning it

It looks fine, it doesn't have sand anywhere now.

The lens works at every aperture and every shutter speed, and the camera works of course.

The lens focuses and doesn't make any noise you know, when you have

some sand in there, I think I really cleaned everything really well. My main concern right now

And the only thing that I couldn't open and clean is the film back

It fell on this side, where the

dark slide is and of course, I didn't have it in, because I was taking photos.

So it fell like this and this was covered in sand and snow

So i'm afraid that some

Sand and snow got in

That's not a problem because this roll of film, I just started this roll of film there, so I have two photos in it

I'm not gonna lose any photos, My main concern is that that sand and ice might have ruined

the seal here, and this film back might have light leaks now

I don't know. But yeah, this has been my day so far

it's 1 p.m. now

It's been frustrating at the beginning, then I took

I was very very happy because I think took amazing shots, or at least the shots that I really like

And then, disaster happened. And right now I don't know if I've ruined my camera or not, until I see the film developed

Luckily, my camera was just fine and after that I went to the marina where I took some photos of boats

And then, I headed to the main destination of the day finally

Okay, so I got to the beach and the fog is a little bit too thick but I still think that there are

some photos to be taken here. I'm gonna be recording videos with my phone now

because i'm afraid that this camera might just break or something with this

rain

This place was exactly what I was hoping for

I knew I was walking on a beach, and there were houses a few hundred feet away

but I couldn't stop feeling like I was in a very, very faraway place. A different world, almost.

And then the rain stopped and the fog started to clear up. A new whole landscape was showing up

I still can't get over the frozen Lake Michigan. I'd seen plenty of frozen lakes before but never of this size

The ice went on and on far beyond where my eyes could reach

This was so beautiful. It;s all cleared up now, but half an hour ago

it was pretty awesome. I don't know if I've got the photos. The photos I don't think they are gonna be that good from here.

Maybe, I don't know. But I still have

more hopes for the ones that I took this morning at the park of those trees. I might be completely wrong

It was a struggle to take photos here today but i had a blast

This is what I like.

I like to work hard for the photos, and I loved it, I loved it. I don't know if the camera is gonna be okay

or if the photos are gonna turn out

if I'm gonna mess up in the development

but it doesn't really matter. I had a lot of fun and that's what matters, right?

I hope I communicated a little bit of this, the struggle and the fun

through this video, but I don't think so because i was pretty focused on taking photos

So I apologize for that but, yeah thank you so much for watching again, guys. And see you in the next one!
