Sourcing on Lowe and using OAXRAY to make profit - Duration: 8:16.

Hello everyone this is Ted with OAXRAY and today we're going to talk about how you can

flip some tools on lowes.com over to amazon.com and make a profit.

So, let's go over to the Lowe's hardware's web site lowes.com and as you scroll down

we see that you get 40% off select tools.

I'm going to first select this right here and I think the default is going to be DeWalt

tools.

I'm going to left click on the OAXRAY extension, I'm going to go back to that page.

It's going to take a few minutes to load we can see the progress right here 20 out

of 48.

I'm going to click on the OAXRAY extension on the next page, do Kobalt next tools.

I do like to Lowe's website and I'm going to show you a secret little trick that I use

to get even higher percentages off of some of these items.

And it looks like our first one that we ran 48 out of 48 is completed.

I'm going to look for something that looks interesting to me to purchase.

So, here we have these, I can see the images here it looks like this tool box has less

items than this one does, so it's probably not a good match.

These kind of have a high sales rank but this little drill bit thing looks pretty good here.

One thing I also want to everybody to keep in mind is I do have a filter on so right

here I have a sales rank filter and that's going to filter out many of the items and

I also have ROI filter.

So, if I remove those you can see all these items that are not profitable that show up

but what I like to do is I like to leave a 25% ROI there just so I can see the profitable

items without having to filter them manually.

So, if I click on the Lowe's listing I see they are selling for $12.98 and if I go back

and I click on the Amazon listing I see it selling for $25.32.

Now it looks like my margin is going to be 35% and the sales rank is pretty good at 22,000

but I'm going to show you how to increase that dramatically here.

So, yeah, it looks like a 12 different customer reviews, the item is selling pretty good.

Let's 23,000 and for whatever reason it is Amazon's choice.

So, that means if someone types in Porter Cable drill bill set then this is the one

that comes up.

So, there's multiple sets but this is the one that comes up first based on amazon's search

And what I want to do is I'm going to click over here to the fee calculator and then I'm

going to show you the tricks that I used to get things for even cheaper.

So, initially if we put this in for $25.32 which is the current selling price it's going

to be really easy to ship in, I'm going to put 10 cents.

It's one pound so you can probably fit 30 or 40 of these in a box, let's just say

25 cents.

And the original cost of the product is $12.98, so I put that here and whenever I calculate

it looks like we have a $5 profit.

That's it, that's 40% on the $12.

But this gets much more interesting whenever we start using everything under our disposal

to increase that margin and decrease the price.

That's what we should be doing on every item.

If it says it's $12.98 you should be looking for ways to spend under $10 on this item.

And I'm going to pull out my calculator and we're going to try to see if we can do that

right now.

First thing I noticed is if I go over to raise.com we can get up to 4.3% off of gift cards.

So, 4.3% off, type that in, 4.3 plus then there's an extra 5% off when you buy anything

this month on Raise.

So, I'm going to do plus 5.

Then we're at 9.3% off.

Now I'm going to go over to Ebates and it looks like Ebates is offering 1.5% cash back.

So, total right now we're up to 10.8 when we consider Raise when we we consider Ebates

percentage backs cash off.

You can also look here to see if there's any kind of promo codes that you can use but I

don't see anything that I think we can use in this situation.

But here is how I get most of the money off on Lowe's.

So, if you go into ebay.com you often notice coupons that are sold or technically you can't

sell a coupon so you are paying for the person's time however they put in the transaction but

the good news is you get a $40 off od $200 discount.

These are generally printable or you can just use the code on the back and use it instantly

in the store that has been my experience for most vendors is that you can get these big

discounts.

So, $40 off of $200.

What we would do is we'd fill our cart with $200 worth of stuff and we get the $40 off

which is approximately 20% off.

So, I'm going to my calculator and I'm going to do plus 20.

So, if we stack all of these discounts and we can even use credit cards with 2% cash

back whenever we are purchasing or other little tips and things like that whenever we're buying

these things but we're going to get approximately 30% off.

So, let's do the math on that and instead of paying $12.98, I'm going to do 0.7 x 12.98.

We're going to pay approximately $9.09 for this item.

That's after all of our Ebates, that's after our Raise, that's after our $40 off of $200

once we put that into our cart and instantly we almost double our return on investment.

So, what we've done is we've gone from a cost of $12.98 almost $13 we've brought that down

to about $9.09 and now we're almost at 100% return on investment.

So, every dollar we spend we're almost getting a full dollar back in profits once this item

sells.

So, just from this example you can see how much those little 5%, 2%, 3% add up into

a huge difference in your return on investment whenever you're able to make those at the

stores.

So, always try to find the best deal you can, always try to spend wisely whenever you're

buying things online especially when you're buying things online.

It's just easier to get the discount.

So, we've gone from less than 50% return on investment now or up to almost 100% probably

at 95 or so percent using these few tips and tricks.

Now this is the only item I'm going to show in this video but there are plenty of other

items where you can go through the same process of finding coupons for the store, finding

Raise discounts, finding Ebates, there's many different sites where you can buy gift cards

so Raise is not the only one, Ebates is not the only cashback site it's just what I like

to use and e-bay is not the only place you can find some of these coupons so you can

get the best deal on products.

So, be very creative, think out of the box and get the best deal you can because it can

change a 40% ROI purchase to a 100% ROI purchase just with a few clicks of the mouse.

Hello, my name is Olin.

Today I'm going to continue to mowing with a DeWalt hammer labeled DCH133.

What I want to focus mainly on is battery life.

I use a 18V 5Ah battery.

I've prepared four pieces for the endurance test,

which I bought at the end of 2017.

All I loaded at full capacity about 20 minutes ago.

I want to test how long the battery lasts, at an extreme load.

So I'm going to work and see

how it will go.

So, I'm done.

The average life of one 5Ah battery was around 20 minutes.

When mowing the hammer, the hammer runs continuously,

in contrast to the drilling, when it only switches for a few seconds.

I think that with such an extreme load,

the stamina is quite cool Even though the time is quite short,

it's no problem I thought of those situations DeWalt.

I will place the battery in a DCB118 fast charger

and charge the battery for about 40 minutes.

If you need to work in a piece

and do not expect to recharge the battery,

I recommend that you buy the batteries three,

because it will be needed to cut the plaster.

That's about a combined hammer from DeWalt,

so we'll see what we're going to do next.

The only thing that DeWalt did not invented is,

who will clean it for me ?! :)
