And now, with that out the way - hit the music!

Daniel Bryan Cleared To Wrestle!

Because Daniel Bryan has been medically cleared to wrestle again in WWE!

Yes, yes, yes, yes, etc, yes!

WWE announced the news on their website shortly before yesterday's episode of SmackDown,

which Bryan himself followed up with: "Saying goodbye to the ring was one of the

hardest moments of my life.

But thanks to the amazing people supporting me, I was able to keep fighting for my dream."

His fellow WWE wrestlers were quick to congratulate him… and tease future dream matches:

This is great news.

No one needs to wish anymore.

They can see it with their eyes.

#NakamuravsBryan.

Nakamura!

"I couldn't be happier for Daniel.

Being away for two years must have felt like an eternity...but today, he's back and where

he belongs."

Styles!

"So @WWEDanielBryan is cleared to wrestle.... hmmmm.

I'm liking this a lot.

#itstrue #WM35" Kurt!

While the ConnorsCure charity - set up in memory of Connor the Crusher, who was very

close with Bryan - tweeted: "Can't help thinking that @WWEDanielBryan had a little

help from a special friend up above.

#YesYesYes @WWE @WWEUniverse" I'm not crying, you're crying!

Whereas Miz maintained kayfabe, sarcastically posting: "Oh look @WWEDanielBryan is cleared.

Yay."

Daniel Bryan Return Details So when and how did this all take place backstage

in WWE?

Wrestling Observer Live revealed the turning point came a few weeks ago, where Bryan was

reportedly making "strong moves" to get medically cleared to return.

Bryan asked WWE's Medical Director, Dr. Joseph Maroon, which specialists he needed

to get signed off by.

Maroon gave a list - including top experts Dr. Robert Cantu, Dr. Javier Cárdenas and

Dr. Jeffrey Kutcher mentioned in the WWE.com article - and Bryan went to them, got signed

off by each one, and then Maroon approved him to wrestle, with the final decision likely

coming as late as this Monday, with some backstage at Raw being informed about Bryan's return.

While there are still concerns about Bryan's health - try watching Kevin Owens and Sami

Zayn's beatdown of him on last night's SmackDown without fearing for Daniel's life

- Meltzer points out that at this point Bryan has been tested more than any other wrestler

or fighter in history and has been passed by them all - with tests showing "His brain

functions are well above normal for his age".

And this is no limited date deal, as Bryan is now "free and clear" to wrestle as

much as he wants.

He had previously talked about working around 60 dates a year if he was to leave WWE, so

he'll likely appear on a part-time or no-house show basis.

It is still possible he could leave WWE when his contract expires in September to wrestle

for other promotions around the world, but that now seems unlikely if he can wrestle

in WWE.

Daniel Bryan WrestleMania Plans While Bryan said on SmackDown that WrestleMania

might be too soon for a return, both the Wrestling Observer and PWInsider are reporting the plan

is for him to team with Shane McMahon against Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.

Apparently, this was always Plan A, with a back-up partner being ready for Shane if Bryan

wasn't able to get cleared.

This is genuinely an incredible story for wrestling fans.

Bryan has overcome all the odds not just against WWE booking, culminating in his WrestleMania

30 main event win, but also now against injury and retirement.

So it is with great honour and deep, deep gratitude, SWAFT Nation, that we are checking

in...

How Many F**** Does Daniel Bryan Give? ...with the how many f**** does Daniel Bryan

give counter!

It's been negative for so long, we've been down deep into the negative 60s for ages.

It's dark down there, scary, despondent.

But there's a light.

And Bryan shown us the way.

Will that change the number?

Daniel Bryan gives…

ONE F***!

BY THE BEARD OF BRYAN!

HE'S FINALLY GIVEN MORE THAN ZER- Watch our review of Bryan's SmackDown announcement.

And which other WWE stars are returning soon?

Thank You, Ma'am (B2) – Learn American English through Short Stories - Duration: 6:12.

Hello!

And welcome.

Today's story is called "Thank You Ma'am".

It's about a boy, named Roger, and an interaction that he has with an older

woman.

It's one of the most famous short stories written by a man named Langston Hughes.

As always, you can find the transcript for this story by clicking on a link that is in

the description below the video.

And if this is your first time watching any of my stories,

be sure to watch my video called "How to Use Stories to Learn English".

That video will teach you all of the helpful methods that you need

to learn how to use this video, and any of my other stories,

to really lur…

LEARN English.

This story is especially unique, so after the story I will talk a little bit

more about some of the significance of this in the historical context.

So, let's get started!

Thank You, Ma'am By: Langston Hughes (A summary)

The story features two characters: A boy named Roger and Mrs. Luella Bates Washington Jones.

They meet when Roger attempts to steal Mrs. Jones's purse as she is walking home late

at night.

Roger loses his balance, and Mrs. Jones,

who seems to be a substantial woman, first kicks him in the behind as he is sprawled

on the sidewalk, and then hauls him up and shakes him.

She has the boy pick up her purse, and begins to scold him.

Then the story takes a turn.

"Um-hum!

And your face is dirty.

I got a great mind to wash your face for you.

Ain't you got nobody home to tell you to wash your face?"

"No'm," says the boy.

"Then it will get washed this evening," said the large woman starting up the street,

dragging the frightened boy behind her.

And with those simple lines, Hughes affects a magical transformation turning

a tough old black woman into everybody's mother and a young hoodlum into everybody's friend,

brother or son.

By explaining the crime – it's out of a child's impoverished necessity

– and humanizing the characters,

he makes us understand that Roger is not a bad kid

as much as he is a kid trapped in difficult circumstances.

After a bit more physical and verbal trouncing, Mrs. Jones's course of action is clear:

"But you put yourself in contact with me," said the woman.

"If you think that contact is not going to last awhile, you got another thought coming.

When I get through with you, sir, you are going to remember Mrs. Luella Bates Washington

Jones."

Sweat popped out on the boy's face and he began to struggle.

Mrs. Jones locks her elbow around the boy and drags him up the street and into her house

where her attitude lightens up on the toughness and starts to load up on love.

She feeds him, lectures him gently, and gives him the money he was attempting

to steal so that he may buy the blue suede shoes that

he needs.

This is how the story concludes: "She led him down the hall to the front

door and opened it.

'Goodnight!

Behave yourself, boy!' she said, looking out into the street.

The boy wanted to say something else other than,

'Thank you, ma'am' to Mrs. Luella Bates Washington Jones,

but although his lips moved, he couldn't even say that

as he turned at the foot of the barren stoop and looked back at the large woman in the door.

Then she shut the door."

Now, to put things in historical context, this story was written while Martin Luther

King Jr. was leading the Civil Rights Movement following the Montgomery Bus Boycott of 1955.

This Bus Boycott came after the 1954 Brown v. Board of Education ruling that made segregation

illegal in law, but not in practice.

And, while it was not universal, the fact remains that there was a racial divide in

the country and some white folks had hatred toward blacks.

Although this is often cast as a regional bias of the southern United States,

it found its home in larger cities throughout the overall country.

One of the wonderful things that Langston Hughes did with his story 'Thank You, Ma'am'

was to strike a perfect balance with the racial and moral elements of the story.

The characters are unmistakably African-American, but it's not a story about African-Americans.

Skin color is present, but that's not the story's point.

He draws our attention to poverty – Why is an older woman having to work a

job that causes her to walk home late at night?

Why can't a young boy be properly clothed, fed, and cared for?

but although the poverty is part of the story, it is never an excuse.

And that sets the stage for the message of the story:

that respect, decency and love will transcend race and class,

and they can cure all sorts of difficulties and hardships.

This message was really important for the United States during this time of racial conflict.

So, there you go!

videos ago I told you that I was going to play a game of blade I would like it

him why not is something together I know that you're also doing these videos he

used to do a lot of Instagram vlogs and now I started uploading on on YouTube so

you can watch this part of the game and now is this game going to work I'm going

to be the first sorry be free so I'm gonna do a trick and then I'm gonna be

posting it on Wednesday just like I did last year if you're new to the channel

you don't know but if you're subscribe to the channel for more than one year

you might remember what I did last year with phillipe isn't Bernina from Brazil

every Wednesday one of us would upload a trick last year game with Felipe was in

a mini-ramp this year it's going to be on a Ledge

basically I'll do a trick on a Ledge and then I'll upload it on a Wednesday then

the next Wednesday on be Fries channel he needs to do the same trick

and he is also going to need to set a new trick and then the Wednesday after

I'll try to do his trick and set my own trick when we can't land the trick that

the other one said it then we get a letter from the word please let me call

a skate whenever we can't land the trick that the other set then we get a letter

from please let me gonna skate and that's it

so obviously because I'm the one saying that I'm gonna start without we even do

like any type of game to choose the starts I can't do anything to risk or

anything too hard but even if I would do my hardest trick I think would be really

easy for him like he is a real pro so we'll see how it goes something that you

should know which is it's not an excuse it's really what's happening my hip is

not okay basically like after not skating for ten days while building the

not good from from a few years ago a few years ago I really injured really bad I

even had to do like I don't even know you called it exam that you go inside

the machine and you stay there for a few minutes just to see if you have any type

of tumor or anything like that so I had a fall that bad a few years ago at the

summer clash and then I fell again on it in Spain Sevilla and then I really had

to go and and that's being seen by doctor it's been good since then but two

weeks ago I fell again on my hip and I thought it was good now this

morning playing at the little clay rail that we have here at the shop I was just

trying to learn how to putt slide

and I ended up falling on my hip again

and this is not please let me call a skate this is really not looking good

this is gonna be film like in a in a skate park curb in a skate park ledge I

know it's nothing really really Street II but that's what I have accessible to

me really close to these office when I hope you guys understand that other than

that wish me good luck I'm going to try to do something easy which like I

already said it's kind of way too easy for be free so we'll see how this goes

Elijah what'd you think I was good for you are you Michael not for me

I'm gonna do more but I can't I hate these

check this check this

what looks like a rainbow and what did you say before

apparently I got a unicorn but the galaxy

see to me the two backside Savannah rotary spin so am I happy with the trick

that I did am I happy with the trick now I'm not really happy with it but that's

what I could do for today and I'm sorry that my body is not really with me on

this one I will F 2 weeks to rest my so hopefully Brian streak won't be too hard

don't don't go too hard on me Brian I know this is really easy for you so

don't make it too hard for me and something really important is that if

you're not so flocking to Brian's channel now it's the time to do it don't

forget that the link is in a description and I'm speaking lower than normal

because my family is sleeping I was getting till 9 p.m. and right now like

I think, like a lot of entrepreneurs, you know,

we have chapters in our history that

sound exciting and somewhat glamorous,

like, you know, going through a hostile takeover bid,

but when you're waking up six months later saying,

oh my goodness, what did I just do?

I owe somebody 34 million dollars

and I don't have enough money to make the payment.

It humbles you quickly.

My advice to you as you become leaders

in businesses is: think far more

about sustainability and long-term

health of your business than simply exiting.

You live in an age where you can

do more than one career.

You don't want to jump jobs just to jump jobs, but don't

get stuck in doing something that

you're not happy doing.

I love this concept that you probably,

you're probably studying in some of your classes

around if you're going to fail quick.

Right, I mean, if you know

that something is failing, like, shut it down quick.

We are the only transportation company

in Canada and probably North America

that has engaged IBM Watson's artificial

intelligence to help our business.

I think wisdom and knowledge has put

Millennials in a far better space

to challenge the workplace that we live in today.

You know more than we did and so

you expect more and I think

there's nothing wrong with that.

Bar Design Ideas - How To Design A Rolling Library Ladder For A Commercial Bar - Duration: 3:58.

How do you design a rolling library ladder for a commercial bar? In this video

I'll show you the secret to implementing a rolling library ladder for rum bars,

whiskey bars and microbreweries. Coming up!

Hey, Rick Uzubell again from Cabaret Design Group, where I share my personal

ideas and tips on bar design, draught beer system design and product reviews.

Later in this video I'll give you 'Today's Takeaway.'

If you're new here, please consider subscribing

and check-out the show notes and links in the 'YouTube Description' below.

Now let's jump into the show!

Many specialty bars, such as rum bars and

whiskey bars, have the need to display 300 or more bottles of expensive alcohol.

Because many of these bars also serve other types of liquor, it's virtually

impossible to feature this quantity of bottles on most back bar walls -- at least

not without making full use of every square inch. High-volume storage,

such as this, normally results in storing numerous bottles above 72 inches.

According to ergonomic bar design standards, this is the highest

recommended reachable shelf.

To further clarify, effective bar design requires that all back bar bottle

displays should be stored above the back bar countertop. Given all the above, what are

one's options for accessing the upper bottles? If you're going to build a

specialty bar, the only viable option, in my opinion, would be to incorporate a

rolling library ladder. This is the safest, most practical and most

fashionable design solution. I've spent a fair amount of time researching rolling

library ladders and the one I like best is manufactured by CSH.

As you'll see in the downloadable brochure,

the CSH rolling library ladders are available

in numerous finishes and mounting options.

When planning a rolling library ladder

in a commercial bar design, there are four critical factors: 1). The horizontal

projection from the support wall to the floor wheels, 2). The bearing surface at

the upper end of the ladder, 3). An adequate quantity of rail supports and

4). Adequate clearance between the ladder and the bar.

Here you'll see a side view of the actual ladder we

designed for a recent project. The CSH

ladder requires the maximum horizontal projection not to exceed 31 inches (or

0.79 meters). Closer examination at the top end of the ladder shows that the

horizontal projection is referenced from the bearing point (the soffit) -- not the

wall below it. Lastly, the rail supports are to be placed not greater than 32 inches

(or 0.81 meters) on-center.

As for the clearance between the ladder and the

bar -- shown right here -- I recommend at least 12 inches

(0.3 meters) when the ladder is in its maximum

extended position. However, for space-challenged

conditions, a nice feature of the CSH ladder is that it's capable of lateral

adjustment, so it can be positioned to be operated in narrow spaces.

The bearing surface at the upper end of rolling library ladders needs to be

structurally stable and the rail supports need to be installed per the

manufacturer's recommendations. Consult a locally-licensed structural engineer if

you're uncertain of any support details. See you next time!

Mark Conditt's Family: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know | Heavy.com | SML TV - Duration: 9:39.

Mark Conditt's Family: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know | Heavy.com

The Austin serial bomber grew up in a quiet suburb of the city with his parents and three younger sisters.

The suspect in the fatal bombing attacks was named on March 21 as Mark Anthony Conditt, 23.

Conditt terrorized the city of Austin for 19 days as he sent bombs via packages to seemingly random address.

Two people, Anthony Stephan House, 39, and Draylen Mason, 17, were killed during the rampage.

A neighbor of the Conditt family in the Austin suburb of Pflugerville told the Austin Statesman, "I know it's a cliche but I just can't imagine that.

" That neighbor said that Conditt was a "nice kid from a great family.

Here's what you need to know:.

All of the Conditt Family Were Home Schooled.

Facebook/Danene CondittAustin serial bomber Mark Conditt pictured on his mother's Facebook page.

Mark Conditt's mother, Danene, wrote on Facebook in February 2013 that she had graduated the suspect from high school.

Danene added that her son had 30 hours of college credit.

Danene wrote, "He's thinking of taking some time to figure out what he wants to do… maybe a mission trip.

Thanks to everyone for your support over the years.

In an online profile, Conditt's sister mentioned that all of the children in the family were home schooled.

On her Facebook page, Conditt's mother is a member of the group Jeremiah 17:8 Home School Online Cooperative.

A neighbor of the family's, Jeff Reeb, told CNN that the Conditt family are "extremely good neighbors" as well as being "church-going people." Reeb added that, "It's extremely confusing.

It doesn't make sense.

I suppose this type of thing never does.".

Conditt's mother is from Saint Louis Park, Minnesota.

Her mother was Mary Bjerkeng, who passed away in January 2007.

On her Facebook page, Danene Conditt describes herself as being self-employed.

An alumni newsletter for Danene Conditt's high school says that she is the "self-employed owner of Conditt Development Group." That newsletter gives her children's names as Mark, Christina and Sara.

Conditt's Father Is a IT Business Executive & Amway Salesman.

According to his LinkedIn page, Conditt's father, Patrick Conditt, is an account executive in Austin with IT solutions company Insight.

That profile describes Patrick Conditt as being a graduate of the University of Colorado Boulder.

While Patrick writes, "Technically educated engineer with a passion for helping clients find the right solution.

Distinguished by my phone skills and email communications.

Strengths include leadership by example, team cooperateion and exceeding expectations.".

On his private Instagram page, Patrick Conditt identifies himself as a "Mentor/Friend/Entrepreneur." A business listing for the Conditt Development Group lists Pat Conditt as the owner of the Conditt Development Group.

That listing reads, "This organization primarily operates in the Business Consulting, nec business / industry within the Engineering, Accounting, Research, and Management Services sector.

This organization has been operating for approximately 28 years." In 2009, Pat and Danenne Conditt were recognized by Amway Global for their "outstanding business achievement and leadership.".

Conditt's Sister Is a Gymnastic Teacher.

Conditt's sister is University of Texas student, Christina Conditt.

Multiple posts on Christina Conditt's Facebook page show her passion for gymnastics.

Christina has a profile at Journey Gym.

That bio says that Christina was a competitive gymnast for six years and that she lives in Pflugerville with parents, older brother and two younger sisters.

Christina plans to join the National Guard as a medic.

Christina Conditt writes about her religious faith on Facebook saying, "Being a Christian Athlete doesn't mean praying for your team to win.

God doesn't give an edge to those who pray over those who don't.

Hard work does that! Being a Christian Athlete means Competing for Christ.

In a way in which you always give your all for Him win or loss.

You thank him for the ability and opportunity to play.

It means giving all the Glory to God, no matter the outcome.".

The Austin Statesman reports that Mark Conditt had been living with two room mates in the Pflugerville-area.

The newspaper adds in their report that the land where the home is was bought by Patrick Conditt in 2017 for $69,000.

That report says that the suspect helped to build the home along with his father.

The home is around the North Second Street area of Pflugerville.

Conditt's Grandmother Called the Bomber 'Very Kind' & a 'Loving Person'.

In an interview with CNN, Conditt's grandmother, Mary Conditt, called the serial bomber a "very kind" and "loving person." She went on describe her grandson as "very quiet and a deep thinker." Since he graduated from being home schooled, Mary Conditt said the bomber was "looking forward to figuring out what most kids are – figuring out his life and visiting his family and being close to them." On his family upbringing, Mary Conditt said, "He's from a family that is so tight, that works so hard to raise their children correctly.

It's just horrible.".

No Motivations Has Been Made Public for Conditt's Rampage.

No motive has been made public about the motive for Conditt's string of attacks.

In a blog that became public after the suspect's death, titled Defining My Stance.

In the bio section of that site, Conditt write that he is "not politically inclined.

I view myself as a conservative, but I don't think I have enough information to defend my stance as well as it should be defended." Blog post titles include, "My view on free abortions," "An argument for the Death Penalty" and "Why gay marriage should be illegal.".

How To Export Multiple Projects At Once (Adobe Creative Cloud) - Duration: 4:25.

What's up guys? Today I'm going to show you how you can export multiple videos

together

alright guys so like I said in the intro I'm gonna show you how you can export

multiple videos together and this is pretty much perfect for when you have

multiple videos that you want to export overnight if you have a couple or like I

know a particular scenario where I had like twelve clips that were all like a

minute each which would have been really irritating to do one by one and so I set

it to automatically render each one overnight and this was in a render queue

so do note that you will need Adobe Media encoder to actually complete this

action this isn't something that you could do inside of Premiere Pro I think

it's kind of annoying that you can't do this in Premiere Pro I think that should

kind of just like merge the two at this point especially because there seems to

be a lot of glitches that sometimes happen in Adobe Media encoder and I will

say that before you send any of these videos out or post them to YouTube make

sure you watch them through because Adobe Media encoder does have certain

glitches sometimes so I make sure to anything that goes through Adobe Media

encoder I pretty much make sure to double check or I obviously check

Premiere Pro things too but just pay particular attention to Adobe Media

encoder exports so without further ado let's just jump right in and I will show

you guys how to do it alright guys so I have pretty much just a bunch of random

sequences here that aren't in any particular order or any particular

organization method this is just a random project that I pulled up but I do

have multiple sequences that I want to show you how you could go about doing

this so one of the ways is you could just command M export your timeline and

then send it to the queue so you could do this one by one as you go throughout

your day with mini exports and just keep sending them to the queue and then come

nighttime you could just render them all out overnight and if you think about it

this can be perfect for uninterrupted workflow you don't want to work export

then work export work export and that's a lot of downtime when it's exporting so

to be able to just work straight and then export them all the end of the

night really improves your workflow so that's one way to do it you could do one

by one by going from sequence to sequence

another way you could do it is just selecting your

in the timeline bin and then select the other sequence or it really as many

sequences as you'd like and then you're gonna right-click that and you're going

to come down to export media which is right below label just kind of cut off

on the video right now I apologize for that but it's gonna say export media and

this is gonna show up and obviously there's no export option and Premiere

Pro right now because it's going to get ready to cue it into Adobe Media encoder

so you're gonna want to pick your preset if you choose match source it's going to

match obviously the resolution and other aspects of your video you might want to

tweak a few things like render at maximum bit bit depth or maybe raise

your bit rates I would recommend that depending on the video if it calls for

it and make sure that's checked as well and your audio should be higher and

quality it looks perfect right now but basically if you hit Q it says preparing

data preparing data for export those two files sending it off to media encoder

and your videos are getting ready to be queued up in a log on Adobe Media

encoder and so now these two sequences just popped up and that's just two

sequences you could do so many more so like I said at the end of that if you

want to hit play you're gonna be able to export your your sequences overnight and

wake up to some fresh sequences so what can be better than that but anyways

thank you guys so much for watching I really appreciate it if you got anything

out of this video make sure to LIKE and subscribe and I've got a ton of videos

coming in the near future so it's a perfect time to subscribe and that's

about all I have for today so thank you so much for watching and take care guys

Deep Dive Cadillac's New, Exclusive 4.2-Liter Twin Turbo V-8 - Duration: 5:29.

Whatever you do, don't call it Northstar.

According to John Rydzewski, assistant chief engineer of the all-new 550-hp Cadillac V-8

engine, the powerplant was called many things during its roughly four-year development,

but in the end they're just calling it exactly what it is: twin-turbo 4.2-liter V-8.

No funny alphanumerics or drawing on history here.

Considering the Cadillac brand's devotion to letters and numbers for all of its nameplates

except the Escalade, we're a little surprised something like NS2 didn't wiggle its way

into its lexicon.

General Motors devotees will remember the Northstar as the first and—aside from the

engine powering the limited first-gen Corvette ZR-1—the only DOHC V-8 that GM has produced.

It was a silky-smooth mill in its day that served in the top-range Caddys, Oldsmobiles,

Pontiacs, and Buicks.

But this new engine isn't much like that one.Starting at the top, it certainly looks

different.

That's because the rotocast aluminum heads have a reversed flow, creating what is called

a "hot V," to feed two Mitsubishi Heavy Industries TD03 twin-scroll turbochargers

nestled in the valley of the engine.

This arrangement is common among the German automakers, with Audi, Porsche, Mercedes,

and BMW all running hot-V twin-turbo V-8s.

Positioning the turbos as close to the exhaust ports as possible is advantageous to response

and efficiency, and it also simplifies exhaust plumbing to allow the turbos to receive even

exhaust pulses from a cross-plane V-8.

Air-to-liquid intercoolers also located atop the engine reduce the intake temperature before

the air makes its way through cast aluminum intake manifolds and into the cylinders.

The sandcast aluminum block is a clean-sheet design, according to Cadillac, and it is fitted

with a 10-quart sump, cross-bolted main bearing caps, a forged steel crankshaft and connecting

rods, pistons from Mahle, and 5000-plus-psi direct fuel injection.

The compression ratio is 9.8:1.

The exhaust manifolds are integrated with the hot side of the turbo housings, which

encase titanium turbine wheels spinning at up to 170,000 rpm while pressurizing the intake

manifolds with as much as 20.0 psi of boost.

Both intake and exhaust camshafts feature cam phasers.

Hydraulic lifters acting on roller finger followers can deactivate valves, enabling

cylinder deactivation and V-4 operation to save some fuel.

The 4.2's default firing order is 1-5-4-3-6-8-7-2, which is different from that of GM's venerable

small-block engine, and then changes to to 1-4-6-7 in V-4 mode.

Cadillac says the new 4.2 is actually a little lighter and a little more compact than the

LT4.

We find this hard to believe, considering compact dimensions are among the biggest selling

points of GM's small-block.

Engineers point to the shorter block (by 50 millimeters), made possible by bore spacing

down to 96.0 mm from 111.7 mm in the small-block.For now, this new 4.2 will live exclusively in

the Cadillac CT6.

It will launch in the freshly unveiled CT6 V-Sport with an estimated 550 horsepower at

5700 rpm and 627 lb-ft of torque from 3200 to 4000 rpm.

(Ninety percent of the torque is available as low as 2000 rpm.)

That's breathtaking torque, as in it takes the breath out of the competition.

The 553-lb-ft BMW M5 is the closest, but an M5 beater the CT6 V-sport is not.

Its mission isn't too dissimilar from that of a V-8–powered Mercedes-Benz S-class,

which is to deliver ultrasmooth and quiet operation while still being able to outrun

the vast majority of cars on the road when called on.

After the V-Sport launches, a 500-horse version of the 4.2 will join the CT6 ranks sometime

in the first few months of 2019, with the only differences being a slightly different

exhaust and ECU tuning.

All V-8–powered CT6s will receive the 10-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel-drive

transfer case.

The front axle runs through the oil pan, ensuring the engine is mounted mostly behind the axle

line for optimal weight distribution.

While Cadillac's representatives won't talk about future product, they made it clear

to us that there is potential left untapped in the engine to make an even more powerful

version.

Economic Update: Capitalism Breeds Inequality [CLIP] - Duration: 2:52.

What's the economic case for a proper, well-functioning, comprehensive national

health insurance program, because we are told what we have, is the best we can do,

because we can't quote-unquote afford more?

What's the economics here as you've encountered it, that makes the

alternative case? But we literally can't afford not to. Right now, health care

spending grows year over year massively, for a bunch of okay and not okay reasons,

right? Okay reasons include people living

longer with chronic conditions, therefore more expensive to treat. Great, great use

of money! Not okay reasons include the, I think, 750 billion dollars of annual

medical waste a year, which is high prices, overcharging, overspending, and

also just outright fraud. The result is that I uh medic, gross medical spending

right now is about 3.1 trillion dollars a year. In twenty twenty seven

it'll be four point five trillion dollars a year, if nothing changes. A

federal universal single-payer, which is basically one giant insurance company

that insures all people, regardless of income, sickness, ability to pay, whatever,

that guarantees full care for all people, has the ability to, through massive

buying power, or through legislation, basically keep spending flat. We can go,

we can go from three point one trillion to three point two trillion over the

next decade, as opposed to four point five trillion over the next decade. So we

can't afford not to. We're losing money by refusing to have any kind of

common-sense measures of a health care works. In other countries that have

either a single-payer model, or a multi payer model, like Germany, you've got

still a federal agency that basically sets prices, or sets price bans on for

for private or nonprofit insurers to use. We have nothing like that,

so there's massive upward inflation. I mean, you look at I think a Deloitte,

Deloitte Consulting is a consulting group, but really kind of I think, stuck

up in developing the idea of medical and hospital consulting over the past twenty

years. I think they invented a thirty four billion dollar revenue stream, just

from teaching hospitals how to up code things and how to how to build more

things more people, for example, the crazy idea that you can have one

anesthesiologist, or one neurosurgeon, have a bunch of surrogate,

like assistants, that perform surgery for them, but get to bill at the higher rate,

for the higher doctors. Even though you're getting surgery by a PA, you're

getting billed at the neurosurgeon, which of course is much more expensive. They

can have four of those people operating at the same time, that's four times the

revenue, things like that. Charging more for facility fees, charging more for

different kinds of drugs, letting doctors own their own MRI facilities, that they

then of course prefer into, so they get a profit, all these different kinds of ways

of nickel and diming at a massive scale a bunch of payers, like insurance

companies, who are too small to do anything about it.

10 Mistakes That Were So Expensive You Can't Forgive Them - Duration: 7:48.

10 Most Expensive Mistakes Ever Made

Humans are so full of errors that we often overlook some of them, we mean the MINOR ones.

You'd understand this better when we tell you about certain mistakes that could not

be forgiven, no matter how hard we tried!

Well, we aren't talking about criminal activities here, OBVIOUSLY!

The focus here is on money matters, after all money MATTERS!

So would you be able to forgive someone who spoilt a project you invested millions in?

If you think you can sit through a video replete with many such instances without cringing,

here you go!

Number 10.

The sale of Alaska Some of you might not know that Alaska once

belonged to Russia and it was only in 1867 that the property changed hands or should

we say changed countries!

Alexander II of Russia regarded Alaska only as an ice-covered land and the fast becoming

critical situation played an important reason for the sale of Alaska to US.

The deal was signed at $7.2 million which might have been an okay deal back then but

looking at the current scenario, it isn't so.

Within 50 years, US had earned back 100 times over due to the vast natural resources of

the area.

We clearly know who was benefiting!

Number 9.

Skyscraper that melts cars Nicknamed 'The Walkie-Talkie' because of its

distinctive shape, this 34-storey skyscraper is the sixth-tallest building in the City

of London and the 12th tallest in London.

Architect Rafael Viñoly designed the building a highly distinctive top-heavy form which

appears to burst upward and outward.

After spending over £200 million on its construction, it was awarded the 2015 Carbuncle Cup for

the worst new building in the UK in the previous 12 months!

Why?

The design of the building made it act like a giant mirror that reflected of a beam of

light up to six times brighter than direct sunlight shining onto the streets beneath

and damaging parked vehicles.

In fact people tried cooking eggs in a pan on the street because temperatures rose to

196 °F!

Number 8.

Antique guitar destroyed for a movie scene If you have seen The Hateful Eight by Quentin

Tarantino, then you know about the scene where Kurt Russell snatches a guitar from Jennifer

Jason Leigh and broke it.

Well, it was a mistake!

The guitar was a real 150-year-old rarity, rented from the Martin Guitar Museum which

was to be replaced with a cheaper version right before the breaking shot.

So what happened?

Well, Russell wasn't told this switch and he broke the original one in the flow.

The good thing is that Jennifer's reaction of shock was real but it cost them a priceless

guitar!

Number 7.

An expensive bridge that wobbled A very dramatic story is attached to the Millennium

Bridge in London.

It is a steel suspension bridge for pedestrians crossing the river Thames linking Bankside

with the City of London.

So far so good, then where is the drama?

Patience people, opened in June 2000 the bridge was closed on the same day and after 2 days

of limited access, it was closed for almost two years.

Sounds funny right?

Well, the bridge unexpected swaying motion when pedestrians crossed it in large numbers.

The condition worsened when the people synced their steps, hence it was named the "Wobbly

Bridge".

The bridged that cost £18.2 million originally, increased by another £5 million to carry

out reconstruction!

Number 6.

Wide wagons on narrow platforms This happened in 2014 when the SNCF railway

company decided to modernize the transport network.

What a good thought but it didn't came out so well because of uhmm, mistakes in measurements!

For the 2,000 new trains ordered for €15 billion, they were given measurements for

stations designed in the last 30 years, and many platforms were older and a little narrower.

You guessed it right, there was an urgent need to widen those platforms if they didn't

want the trains to go waste.

And this cost them an additional €50 million, just a small price!

Number 5.

Loss of Mars Climate Orbiter NASA developed the Mars Climate Orbiter to

study the climate on Mars.

A good step towards knowledge and discovery but nothing went as planned.

Contact with the ship was lost while it was in space but the most shocking thing is the

reason behind it!

One NASA crew used imperial units and another used metric.

For that reason, information failed to transfer between the Mars Climate Orbiter spacecraft

team at Lockheed Martin in Colorado and the mission navigation team in California.

As a result, the orbiter entered the atmosphere of Mars too low and collapsed.

Nobody expected human error to cost a whole orbiter!

Number 4.

Typo loses shares worth millions 2005 was a bad year for the Japanese company,

Mizuho Securities Co. and we wonder who they blame for it!

Well the company wanted to sell one share for ¥610,000 (about $5,000) on the Tokyo

Stock Exchange.

What could go wrong with this?

It seems a stockbroker hadn't had enough sleep and made a little mistake when entering

the data.

He put up for sale 610,000 shares for only ¥1 each.

We can see horror in your eyes.

Though the company protested against it, the order was processed, costing the company a

loss of 27 billion Yen or $225 million!

Who has a heart to bear it?

Number 3.

Vasa, the sunken ship Vasa, built by the king's order, was to

become the flagship of the 17th-century Swedish navy.

It would have been a symbol of glory, sadly it sank right after leaving the shipyard.

What an irony!

Well, the design of the ship was very unstable with its top being heavy but nobody dared

say this to the King who was getting impatient to see his ship.

The result as you already know, was a disaster!

Isn't this the ideal example of "better late than never"?

Number 2.

Hard drive worth millions thrown into trash Englishman James Howell collected 7,500 bitcoins

back in 2009 when they were easy enough to earn.

He could have easily turned into a millionaire years later when digital currency became popular

but that did not happen.

The man had kept the hard drive for years in a drawer but while having a clearout of

his old IT equipment, it was thrown in the bin!

You can well imagine what the man must have gone through after realizing what he had done.

James went to the landfill site in south Wales which was the size of a football field so

there wasn't a lot he could do.

Man, you have our sympathy!

Number 1.

10% Apple shares In a universe where things worked out a bit

differently, Ronald Wayne would be a billionaire.

Few people know that along with Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak, Wayne was one of the partners

with 10 percent stake in the company.

But just 12 days after the birth of the company, he sold his shares for just $800!

We could call Ronald Wayne as the man who won the lottery but lost the ticket!

Aged 80, he lives on his Social Security checks and money made selling rare coins and stamps

over the Internet.

Well, he does not regret his decision but we look things in a different light!

Which of these mistakes would you have forgiven?

Melania Trump Again Shows She's A Massive Hypocrite On Cyber Bullying Issue - Duration: 3:11.

On Tuesday, First Lady Melania Trump held a round table with tech executives from around

the country to discuss the issue of cyberbullying, and during this she mentioned, because the

cameras were rolling, that a lot of people in this country are skeptical that she's going

to be able to tackle this issue, and they don't necessarily trust her with it, but she's

going to push on anyway.

Well you know what?

Good for you.

This is a very important issue.

Cyberbullying is a massive problem in the United States.

We've seen too many kids and young adults in this country commit suicide after begin

cyberbullied, so I applaud Melania Trump for taking on this noble cause.

And at the same time, I have to say that Melania Trump is probably the biggest hypocrite on

the planet for taking up this cause.

Melania Trump knows, she knows ... and that's why she made that little statement ... that

one of the biggest cyberbullies in the United States today is the man that she lays down

next to every night before she goes to bed, her husband, Donald Trump.

He gets on Twitter on a near-daily basis, making fun of the way people look, making

fun of the way they talk, making fun of their failures in life, joyously celebrating when

he strips them of their pension after they've spent more than two decades working for the

federal government.

That is all cyberbullying, and she has not done a damn thing about that.

And yeah, there's lot of other cyberbullies in this country, but not a single one of them

has as much exposure, reach, and influence as her husband does, and that's why he's the

worst.

Think about that.

We have the President of the United States, arguably the most powerful human being on

the planet, who engages in this kind of infantile behavior, making fun of people's appearances

in tweets.

That is something that none of us would accept from our children, and yet we're supposed

to accept it from a President of the United States while his wife is out there talking

about the dangers of cyberbullying?

No, I don't buy it.

I'm not going to buy it.

I don't believe it.

I don't believe that she's serious about this issue, because if she was, she would start

with Donald Trump, and if she can't make him change his ways, then she could leave him.

If she truly cared about cyberbullying, if she thought it was a big enough problem that

deserved her attention, she would not be with someone who regularly cyberbullies American

citizens, private citizens in many instances, but she is.

I don't take her seriously on this issue, and nobody else should either, because if

she wanted to solve the problem, she'd start with her husband.

5 Things To Never Do During A Spiritual Awakening - Duration: 7:05.

5 Things To Never Do During A Spiritual Awakening

A spiritual awakening means something different to everyone, one common understanding of it

is simply believing in more than just yourself.

For some, its trusting your gut or intuition more.

And for others, its even deeper to begin to look past the physical limitations

of this reality, and focus on going within to connect to what some call God, Source,

Higher self, etc.

A spiritual awakening can lead one down a road to higher understanding of themselves

and their placement within this crazy world, and for many, they couldnt imagine their

lives without faith in something being the centerpiece.

However, along this road toward enlightenment, inner peace, greater understanding, or whatever

youd like to achieve, you might find yourself getting lost along the way.

This is perfectly normal, of course, but please try to stray away from the following things

that will only hinder your growth.

5 Things To Never Do During A Spiritual Awakening 1.

Staying stuck in the past or future.

One common facet of spirituality is focusing on mindfulness, or being fully aware of the

present moment.

However, we cannot do that if we remain entrenched in the past or future.

If we focus too much on times already gone or times not even here yet, we will wreak

havoc on our inner peace.

To gain inner peace, we must fully let go and embrace the present.

So, on your spiritual journey, we hope you will remember to lose yourself in the moment

you have right now, and forget about moments gone or moments that havent yet arrived.

Much of spirituality lies in going with the flow and not trying to control your surroundings,

anyway.

2.

Being too hard on yourself.

Along this path, you might find yourself being hyperaware of your own thoughts and actions,

so much so that you start to judge yourself too harshly.

While being conscious of the self is a big part of spirituality, you have to learn to

simply watch yourself as a mindful observer, and not judge what you might hear or see.

We live in a very judgmental world, but you have to learn to let go of these man-made

judgements and pre-conceived ideas of who and what you should be.

Your spiritual journey should not be about achieving perfection; rather, it should be

about learning to love yourself IN SPITE of those imperfections that make you, you.

Dont believe what anyone else tells you about spirituality its your own personal

journey, and no one can tell you how to traverse it but you.

3.

Feeling guilty about how you live your life.

When you start to delve deeper into your spiritual awakening, you might find that your ideals

and morals have changed a bit.

Thus, you find yourself at odds with certain people in your life, because they have gotten

so used to the old you that they dont really know how to deal with the new you.

Of course, this is the natural course of life, as people change and find what makes them

happy.

However, dont feel guilty about your life just because it doesnt click with those

around you.

Maybe in your spiritual journey, youve found that you want to simplify your life,

and live off-the-grid to get closer to nature, God, or whatever you call the center of your

spirituality.

If this makes your heart happy, you have to follow it, regardless of what others may think.

You have to live your life for you, not for others.

4.

Comparing yourself with others.

This sort of goes along with the previous point dont ever judge yourself against

other people.

You will either disappoint yourself, or allow your ego to become inflated.

Neither of these things will help you in your spiritual journey; rather, they will hinder

you.

Your spiritual journey is highly personal, and totally unique to you.

Therefore, its both unwise and irrational to compare yourself to others, because you

have to move at your own pace in life.

Someone might seem more spiritually advanced than you, but whos really to say?

Only you can judge yourself at the end of the day, so make sure to simply focus on your

own life and do what you have to in order to feel fulfilled within yourself.

5.

Not allowing yourself to feel emotions.

A common belief youll come across in your spiritual path is that we should strive to

not let our emotions overpower us, instead becoming the watchful observer of our thoughts

and feelings.

However, this doesnt mean to stifle your emotions so that you become a ticking time

bomb.

If you dont deal with your emotions, youll have to later, and they will only gain strength

from being bottled up for so long.

Say what you need to say, feel what you need to feel.

No apologies, and no feeling guilty.

We are all human, and therefore have a wide spectrum of emotions.

In order to feel alive, we must deal with how we feel now, and not bury our emotions

just because we dont want to face them.
