Samsung Galaxy S9 review - Duration: 10:10.

- Here's the new Galaxy S9 and S9+ from Samsung.

And if you squint even slightly.

You might think you're looking at last years Galaxy S8.

Because the differences between it and the S9

are minimal at best.

(casual music)

But this is the Android phone that more people will buy

than any other this year.

And it does come with a few new things that

those people will appreciate.

And besides, it's not like the S8

is a bad phone to start from.

The overall design of the S9 in unchanged from last year.

It's still a glass and metal sandwich.

It still has curved glass in the front and back.

It still has an extra wide 18.5 by 9 display

and minimal bezels.

It's really nice and it's really well made.

But the glass back is kind of a fingerprint magnet

and it can be slippery to hold.

The smaller S9 is 5.8 inch screen.

While the S9+ is a 6.2 inches display.

Both are super amulet panels with

2960 X 1440 pixels of resolution.

Both are really nice to look at with vibrant colors.

Sharp resolution and excellent viewing angles.

They're also slightly brighter this year

which is always appreciated if not always noticeable.

And they still remain the best displays you can get

on any Android phone.

They're even up to par with the screen on the iPhone 10.

Provided you don't mind slightly more saturated colors.

The S9 has the same fast wired

and wireless charge it had before.

The same IP 68 water resistance as before.

And the same 3.5 millimeter headphone jack as before.

And if you're looking for high end phone

with a headphone jack in 2018.

Your choices are fewer than ever.

So it's kind of great to see Samsung

stick with it for the S9.

The big design change is the placement

of the fingerprint scanner.

Which has been moved from the side of the camera

to just below it.

It's much easier to use than the S8.

Especially if you're using a larger plus model.

But it's still weirdly small and too close to the camera.

I frequently swipe on the camera lens

when I'm trying to use the fingerprint gesture

to see my notifications.

Which is kind of annoying.

And then of course there's that dreaded Bixby button

which is still there.

Still in the same spot just below the volume buttons

on the left side.

Now you can disable it from launching Bixby Now

which is progress.

But Samsung still doesn't provide a native way

to reprogram into something more useful.

Now at its worse, it's annoying.

And at it's best it's a little fidget button

that you can press without having to worry about

doing anything if you actually disable Bixby.

The other new hardware feature is stereo speakers.

Which basically catches Samsung up to

what everyone else has been doing for a couple of years.

They are noticeably louder and fuller

than the single speaker on the S8.

And they're really great for watching video.

So I'm not gonna say they're the best phone speakers

I've ever heard.

But they're still great and I'm happy to see them here.

The rest of the hardware improvements are all on the inside.

It's got Qualcomm's new Snapdragon E45 processor.

Either four or six gigabytes of RAM.

Depending on which model you choose.

And the new LTE modem that's of course

even faster at gigabytes speeds.

Those are specs we're gonna see

in virtually every Android flagship this year.

But Samsung is the first out of the gate with them.

Performance, at least during my review has been great.

Everything is really fast and responsive.

And the network performance is just as impressive

as last years and to be honest.

Noticeably better than the iPhones.

Though unchanged in the size of the battery

and the internal storage.

You get a 3,000 million power battery in the S9

and a 3,500 million power battery in the S9+.

Both of them has 64 gigs of storage

and micro SD card support.

I really would have liked to see Samsung

increase the battery size this year.

It's not to say that the battery life is bad

on either model.

But it's not the best you can get

and heavy users are gonna even deplete the S9+ battery

after a long day.

So despite all that sameness.

Samsung did upgrade one important aspect of the S9

and it did so in a pretty big way.

The S9 rear camera is all new.

It's got an improved sensor

and a new variable aperture lens.

That can physically switch between a really bright F1.5

and a smaller F2.4 aperture.

The S9+ gains a second telephoto lens

for portrait modes stuff like Samsung used

on the Note 8 last year.

On top of that everything is optically image state wise.

Samsung claims significant improvements

in low light photography over the S8 camera.

And it's true that the S9 definitely can take

some really great photos in low light.

The F1.5 aperture lets in more light

than last years F1.7 lens.

And the improved processing helps reduce noise overall.

And I'm less impressed with the switching aperture feature.

It feels more like a parlor trick than anything else.

Now since a digital camera can just compensate

its shutter speed for how much light is in the room.

I don't really ever feel like I would

ever need to shoot at F2.4.

Now if you're in the pro mode of the camera app

you can actually switch between the two modes.

So here for an example.

I shoot this image at 1.5.

And then I'm gonna shoot this image at 2.4.

And overall there really isn't much difference

between the two images.

The F1.5 is a slightly blurrier background than the F2.4.

Which has a little bit longer depth of feel.

But in terms of sharpness.

It really isn't any difference there.

So, I'm not sure why I would ever shoot

an F2.4 on this phone.

I'd probably just leave it at 1.5 and forget about it.

The S9+'s second telephoto lens is similarly gimmicky.

Samsung's live focus portrait mode

just isn't as good as Apple's or Google's

at separating a subject from the background.

And in challenging lighting conditions.

Image quality is kind of bad.

The S9 gives you 4K video at 60 frames per second

or slow motion 1080p video at 240 frames per second.

Which catches it up with what the iPhone can do.

Now both loads produce nice quality video.

But you have to make sure you have plenty of light

for the slow motion mode.

Where you'll see a lot of noise in the video.

Overall, the S9's camera is definitely improving

and it's very good on it's own.

But if you weren't a fan of Samsung's

image processing before.

You still won't like it now.

Sure, there's less noise than before

and the colors are pleasing.

But all of the images definitely have

Samsung's look to them.

Which is different to what Apple

or Google's camera produced.

At this point it really comes down to personal preference.

But it's definitely something to be aware of.

And I wish Samsung did spend some time on

is the front camera on the S9.

It's the same 8 megapixel camera as seen on the S8.

It does have auto focus which no other front camera

has yet to replicate.

But its portrait mode just isn't

as good as Google or Apple's.

So all of that stuff is great

and it's gonna keep the S9 at the top of phone rankings

for most of 2018.

But there's a ton of other things that Samsung

is pushing with the marketing for the S9 this year.

And to be honest, you'll probably never use them.

It's almost as if Samsung just couldn't help itself.

The first up is AR emoji.

Samsung's take on the iPhone 10's Animoji feature.

Here's how it works.

It scans your face and then it produces

a bit emoji character based on the hundred points

to your face that kind of maybe looks like you.

Then it takes this character and it creates

a bunch of reaction goes with it.

You can then send in messaging apps.

Then there's also some weird looking animals

that you can create video clips with.

That you can do with Animoji on the iPhone.

Now there's a couple of issues with Samsung's AR emoji.

First off, Samsung isn't using any special tactic

to capture your face or movement.

It's just relying on the camera.

So tracking is really bad.

Second, the characters it creates

are just the wrong kind of creepy.

And nobody I've tested it with

has been like that's something I like.

And then the animals on top of that are just kind of weird.

It's definitely something that Samsung built

just to compete with Apple and frankly it's not very good.

Now Samsung is also trying to ape

the iPhone 10 face ID with its new

intelligent scan feature.

It combines iris scanning and face protection

to unlock the phone.

But it's still slow and now it shines a bright red light

in your face when it scans.

Good thing there's a fingerprint scanner

that's easier to reach on the back

because it's faster and more reliable

than Samsung's face scanning option.

Next is a new super slow motion mode in the camera.

The S9 can shoot up to 960 frames per second.

Which sounds really neat.

But it can only do so for .2 seconds at a time

and only at 720p resolution.

There's two ways you can shoot it.

You can try to manually trigger it to

capture the .2 seconds of action you want.

Or you can use an automatic mode

that looks for a specific movement

in an area of the frame and then captures

slow movement and detects it.

But in practice both are really hard to use.

And they're really more frustrating than anything else.

Worse, you need a ton of light to make it work

and even if you have lots of light.

Image quality is kind of crappy.

And if that wasn't enough.

There's the awful music the app

overlays on the clip automatically if you don't bother

to edit it after the fact.

Now Bixby.

It's not new but it's still here and it's still bad.

It's got a fresh coat of paint

and it's slightly faster than before.

But it's still way slower than the Google Assistant

and it isn't as good at parsing my voice commands.

There's a couple of new features

like an integrated makeup store that let's you

try makeup out virtually and then buy it directly

from Sophora or Cover Girl.

But I really can't image anyone using that more than once.

Anyways, here's what I look like with a face full of makeup.

And then there's the perennial complaint

with Samsung's software.

Why are there so many duplicate apps?

The unlock the S9 that I've been testing

has two email apps, two gallery apps, two browsers,

two app stores and two payment apps.

Now a couple of Samsung apps is good.

Mostly the Samsung browser and Samsung Pay.

But the rest are inferior to the Google Apps

that are also installed on the phone.

Which just makes it kind of annoying.

And if you care at all about software updates.

Samsung is one of the worst manufacturers

when it comes to delivering new versions of Android.

As of this review.

Last years Galaxy S8 still doesn't have

Android 8.0 in the US.

And that was released by Google over six months ago.

Alright, so it sounds like I just took a huge dump

on the S9 but like I said.

Most of these bad things can be ignored.

You can turn off Bixby.

Never bother to use AR emoji or super slow mo.

And disable most of Samsung's apps.

The only real sticky point for some people

will be Samsung's poor update history.

But that leaves the rest of the S9

which is actually really great.

Still has a modern design.

Has great performance.

Great screen and a very good camera.

Outside of the display the S9 isn't a class leader

in any category.

But it's good enough in all of them

that the whole package makes for a great phone.

Chances are if you're spending between $700

and $900 on a new phone this year.

The S9 is gonna be one of the best options you can get.

But if it doesn't do it for you.

You might want to wait for Samsung's next big thing.

We all know about The Pole star or Polaris.

This star always stay in north direction.

Do you know know about this star, how its location remains fix and how far is it?

Let's explore.

For centuries, The Pole star is being used for navigation.

Its a group star, meas its a group of stars, consisting of 3 groups.

In this group main star is called Alpha Ursae Minoris.

Due to its position exactly above the poles of earth, it is always visible at same position.

Earth rotates about its axis, due to this all stars seem to be moving around earth.

But The Pole Star is situated exactly on the Earth's axis line, above its poles. That's why it always remain stationary.

It can be seen only in the northern hemisphere.

It is impossible to see it in Australia, New Zealand, Africa and South America.

Finding The Pole star in the sky is quite easy.

Line jointing the last two stars of Ursa Major constellation, points towards it.

Have you ever wondered, how far is Pole Star?

To understand that we should be familiar to the Light year, a unit of distance.

Remember, it is a unit of distance, not time.

Light travels at 300 thousand km/s.

At this speed what distance the light travels in one year, is called a Light Year.

It's about 9500 Billion km.

To understand this, consider this -

The Moon is about 38400 km away from the Earth.

Light takes only 1.3 second to travel this distance.

So it's only 1.3 light seconds away from us.

Similarly, The Sun is 150 Million km away, and its 8.3 light minutes away.

Nearest star to the solar system is Proxima Centauri. It is 4.25 light years away.

Coming to the topic -

The Pole star is 433 light years away.

Which means that even light, travelling at 300 thousand km/s, will take 433 years to reach it.

It is approximately equal to 4 Million Billion km.

International Space Station (ISS) travels at 8 km/s.

Yes, that's correct. 8 km/s. Faster than any airplane or even a bullet.

Its so fast, that it takes only 90 minutes to revolve around the Earth.

Even at this speed it would take 3.7 Million years to reach the Pole star.

Let's also talk a bit about Voyager 1.

it's a space probe, launched by NASA on 5th Sep 1977.

At 20 billion km away, its the farthest man made object in space.

Even after 40 years, it's still sending signals regularly.

Its speed is 17 km/s.

Even at this speed, it will take 1.7 Million years to reach pole star.

Because it is 433 years away, the light that we see today coming from The Pole star, was actually emitted 433 light ago.

It means that light that we see today, actually started travelling from Pole Star when -

when great scientist Galileo was born, when after Akbar's death Jahangir became the new ruler, and when Guru Arjan Sahib Ji became 5th Guru of Sikhs.

If we have a friend that far, and we try to communicate with him,

then his answer will be received after 866 years.

If The Pole star vanishes, (though it's impossible), we would come to know about the event in year 2450.

Hence we can say that, we don't see stars but their light, which was emitted by them hundreds or thousand years ago depending upon their distance.

So, we actually see the past of the stars and not their present.

The Universe, indeed a wonderful and magical place.

so in today's video, I will make Wardah One Brand Tutorial

plus review

to be honest, I already made Wardah One Brand Tutorial last year.

at that time, I was wearing hijab, if you guys still remember

it has been a long time, so I want to make an updated version of it

I will use the products that I haven't used in the previous video

so, if you want to know

how I make this look and also the review

keep on watching!

I think I have never said that before

Let's get started!

the first product, I will directly use Wardah BB Lightening Beauty Balm Cream shade light

in my previous One Brand video, I used Wardah foundation

and honestly, I don't really like the product

it didn't fit me

when I used it, it felt so thick

then, it felt a little bit cakey

and also, it showed small tiny zits and filled spot on my skin

then, I also have used Wardah DD cream. I really like that one.

but, today I want to try other, so I will use Wardah BB Cream

this one is small one

the texture is like this. it is creamy.

and I will directly put it thoroughly on my face

I will use the sponge to blend them all

this BB cream is easy to blend. The result is natural on the skin.

this is medium coverage, so it is perfect for daily use

because it also evens the skin tone and closes the pores

so, now, I will use this in this part

as I don't buy concealer from Wardah, I will just take BB cream

and I put it to the part of my face that needs extra coverage

like under eye and parts where my veins are seen

the reason I don't buy concealer from Wardah is because

I have ever bought and used it, but the texture is a little bit solid

and I don't really like it

and after months, it became more solid until I can't use it anymore.

So, I decide to throw it up

so, this time, I will not use the concealer

I stack up the previous bb cream to become concealer

then, I will set the makeup with Wardah Lightening BB Cake Powder shade Light #1

for foundation, I ask to the counter, there is no new product yet, so I am still using BB cream

but for the powder, this is the newest product from Wardah

I really like the result because it feels light

It really makes my skin smooth and soft as if I had no pores

but doesn't make my skin dry, so I love this so much

for the eyebrows, I use Wardah Eye Expert Matic Brow Pencil shade Deep Grey

they said this is the newest product for the eyebrow pencil

then, this eyebrow pencil is really thin. I really like this type of eyebrow pencil.

but, it is a pity that this has no brush. if it has one, then this will be easy to bring everywhere

because, in my opinion, it will be difficult to make eyebrows without brush

for this eyebrow pencil, I think this one is convenient to use because

the pigmentation is good, it is not exaggerated, and not to faded. so it is so convenient

so this is the result

as I have no brush, then it is a bit hard to blend

but I will take the brush from other eyebrow pencil

but you can see, this is the result

for the eyeshadow, I bought two.

the first one is Wardah Nude Colors Eyeshadow Passionate, this one is the newest

then, I also buy Wardah Eyeshadow Series B. Which one I use guys?

I will swatch these colors first

you can see the colors are pigmented and soft

then, I will swatch this B eyeshadow

this is also crazy. the colors are good

if I use this one, then you will say that I always use brown tone of eyeshadows

so, for today, I will use the B series of eyeshadow

for the first color, I will use the middle color

then, I will apply

at parts of my eyes

in my opinion, the quality of this eyeshadow is alike with Emina's as they are sister company

I like its quality because it is pigmented, easy to blend, and has less fallouts

you can see the colors are really pigmented,

I don't use primer, but this has been really good

next, I will take the third color, the color is violet

to apply it on outer corner

I think the base color is too dark so the violet could not be seen as compared to the first color

Now, I will take the brown eyeshadow from Passionate palette to apply it on outer corner

for the eyeliner, I will use Wardah Staylast Gel Eyeliner

actually, the newest product is Spidol Liner Eye Expert

but, that has a bit too large brush, so it is hard to make thin lines on my eyes

it is not really waterproof on my eyes because mine is watery

so, this time, I want to try the gel eye liner

I have never used this.

and the brush is also okay. So slender

I will directly use this

The gel eye liner is okay. Convenient to use and creamy, easy to apply

creating eyeliner will be the most difficult while holding mirrors

I am doing this all this time

for the eyeliner, I really like it

to be honest, at this part, I drew it wrong then I erased it with micellar water

and it is hard to erase. this one is waterproof

so, for you guys that have watery eyes and look for eyeliner, this product from Wardah is okay

Now, I will use mascara

actually, I want to buy the new one, but it is always sold out everytime I go to the counter

sold out. I want to buy it online at Sociolla, but it is also sold out

So, I decided to buy Wardah Eye Expert Perfect Curl Mascara, the former version of mascara

they said this is good, but the newest one is also really good

as I could not get it, I will use this

I just bought this

For this mascara, I think it is quite thick

with one layer, it is already thick

so, don't use too much till it becomes clumpy

this is also able to thicken, lengthen, but not to curly

to make my eyelashes a bit more thick and better, I will use fake eyelashes from other brand

as Wardah does not have fake eyelashes product

so, I use Lavie lashes Fleur

now, I will take this violet color from B eyeshadow

then, I will apply it on lower lash lines

the violet is not too intense, so I will take the brown color and apply it on lower lash lines

I also bought white eyeliner from Wardah, Eye Liner Pencil White

and I will apply it here

and the last step is I am gonna use the mascara on the lower lash lines

for the blush on, I buy two series which are D and A

Wardah does not have bronzer or contour palette, so I will use brown color from series A to contour

apply it on cheek bones

now, I will try to apply it with the brush that I often use to contour

angle brush

I will also take a bit for jaw line contour

I want to say sorry to you guys because I rarely upload

I don't know why, this year, I make some videos, but the results are not okay

from the beginning of the year till now, I think I have made around 5 videos that end up being deleted

I am hurt because I have spent so much time to shoot, but the result does not satisfy me

So, I delete them all

I quite like the colors of contour

Now, I will take the brush to shade nose

and for the blush, I want to try this color, series D blush on

the color is more like beige orange

and I will mix these two colors

as the makeup is colored, I prefer to have the blush on natural to not making it clash with eye makeup

for the blush on, I also like it because the colors are good and pigmented

and the last, as there is no highlighter, I will use eyeshadow colored peach, this one

I will use this as highlighter, I wish the result was good

surprisingly, the color is good to become highlighter

bcs this is eyeshadow, the pigment is not as soft as highlighter

so, if your skin is a little bit too rough, it will make your skin look textured

But the color is okay for highlighting

I like it

for the lipstick, I have two choices

the first one is Wardah Nude Lipstick #3. if opened, the color is like this, nude orange beige.

I also have other. This one is Wardah Exclusive Matte Lip Cream #3. the color is latte

inside is a little bit unclean bcs this is a little bit long

first, I will use Wardah Nude lipstick

this is the color of this lipstick and the texture is creamy

this is not transfer-proof at all

after we eat or drink, the color will be faded, but this moisturizes well

but, I think this color makes my skin look yellow, so I don't really like this

and I think the color is not matching with my makeup look

so, I will try the exclusive matte

the color is really good

the color is like that

for exclusive matte lipcream, the color is good like nude pink

but using this for too long will make your lips dry and the line of the lips will be seen

this lipstick has scent, it has the scent of chemical

but, overall, this is okay, and really popular

the first one is Wardah BB Cream. The result is natural

so, for you guys who are looking for BB cream for daily use

the result of this is satin, neither matte nor dewy

so, the result is really good and I recommend this

then, the second one is Wardah Lightening BB Cream Powder

I really like this powder because this makes my face smooth and soft

I don't like compact powder usually, but this one is okay and light

not too cakey

the combination of bb cream and bb powder are really great. I like the result

I also recommend the eyeshadow of Wardah because

the result is okay, pigmented, easy to blend, and the colors are great

then, if you are the gel eye liner lover

you have to try this because convenient to use even though it is not too creamy

but this is also not solid

as I am, are where you are in your life based upon what you believe and it's not

just what you think you believe on the surface it's also your shadow beliefs

that are holding you back from moving into the life that you believe you

deserve what I know is if you're not looking at the shadows if you're not

looking at what is subconsciously running through the tape in your mind

telling yourself you're not good enough you're not worthy enough you're not

smart enough you're not enough which is a tape that's playing for a lot of

people if you're not conscious of that then you end up acting out of that

belief system and not out of what you know to be the truest or want to be the

truest for yourself you don't become what you want because so much of wanting

is about living in the space of what you don't have that's why Jim Carrey's story

is so powerful because he started to act as though he'd already had it he would

go up to Mohall and and Drive he would drive thinking I already have those

things I just haven't accessed them as yet

I believe those things are going to come to me I'm going to act like they are so

i'm going to move forward in my life in order to draw that to myself

in such a way that my actions are in alignment with what I say I believe so

if you start to think about that really why are you where you are in your life

the choices that you have made have been because of what you believe to be true for yourself

People often want to call me the exception like oh my god you're

the exception no I'm not the exception I'm an average ordinary woman who chose

every day to make one more extraordinary decision I'm an average ordinary mom who

said I want to drastically transform my son's future that he deserves to have

every option that every other child would have regardless of what he was

born into I just was crazy enough to believe that, that it doesn't matter the

color of my skin doesn't matter my religious background doesn't matter my

origin it doesn't matter my mom's bank account my dad's been gone when I was born

none of that means my future that's just the circumstance that I came from

that's not what defines my future I just believe that not a lot validated it but

faith is believing in the unseen anyway so I had enough faith to go I know like

I know like I know like I know I don't necessarily have to see it yet

Whatever the truth is your perception on how you see that truth outweighs it 10 to 1

so it's a motivation and why you're doing it

In a journey of getting in shape it's a long long run right

But the person who's standing at the end with their hand raised isn't the

person with all the genetics it isn't the person with the most potential it's a

person that has the greatest perseverance it's always willing to get

out the difference between a champion and a loser is that they both fail

It's just that the loser allows the failure to stand for life with a

champion even though he gets knocked on his ass, he finds something to support to and to stand

back up, reface that endeavor until it comes to his favour until he wins

That's the difference, champions get back up and do it again

and the difference between someone who is successful here

and someone who is a spectator here is that the person who is successful you know they

believe in themselves so much and their belief overrides any crowds disbelief.

I always felt like I could do anything that's the main thing, people are

controlled by thoughts, their perception of themselves

they're slowed down by

their perception of themselves if you're taught you can't do anything you won't

do anything. I was taught I could do everything. you will believe in yourself

I'm just the expresso I'm just a shot in the morning to get you going to make you

believe that you can overcome that situation that you're dealing with all the time

When I look around I always learn

something and that is to be always yourself and to express yourself

To have faith in yourself

Anything and everything can be done if you can visualize it and if you

believe in yourself. it was the same thing again when I ran for governor you

can imagine when I went on the tonight show and I announced that I'm gonna run

for governor of the great state of California people came to me afterwards

and said you're crazy you don't announce something like this on the tonight's show

you have an official press conference at the State capital plus you don't start

with governorship you go start first with mayor or with state senator and I

said I don't want to be senator I don't want to be mayor I want to be governor

don't you understand that

Well the rest is history, I won in 2003 and I won also in 2006

let me tell you you're going to find the naysayers in every turn that

you make don't listen just visualize your core know exactly

where you want to go trust yourself get out there and work like hell and break

some of the rules and never ever be afraid of failure

I believe in putting a rocket of desire out into the universe

and you get it when you believe it you get it when you believe you have it and

that's the key is like people sit around going when's it gonna come

and that's the

wrong way you're you're facing the wrong way you're facing away from it you have

to go it's here it's here it's here

take a step back right now and think

about who we all admire in the world right they're all people that punted the

system they're people that practiced singing since they were five they are

people that shot ten thousand basketballs every morning it's always

that it's always that 99% of people right now that are listening to this are

playing in the middle they're playing in a game that was structured for them

they're risk averse, they fear and most importantly they fear what other people

think I didn't care what other people said and it's not because I didn't

respect it I actually I get feedback all the time that might be negative this I

respect it I listen to it but at the end of the day I'm just not built to have it

dictate my one at-bat at life

Number one way to start to believe in yourself is momentum

Now I know off the bat, if you really hate yourself right now you're

like thanks Brendan I got no momentum that's why I hate myself so hold on I'll

get to that mindset stuff, ill get to the emotional stuff but sometimes believing

in yourself is just tactically winning a little bit each day you know just a

little bit of a win can give you that dopamine that says oh good job reward I

feel better it can be a very simple neurological

payoff of just achieving a couple small goals and as you heard me say anytime

you're dealing with difficulty it can be just simple things but it's got to be momentum

so whatever you're doing in your life

maybe if you got a job think about what small things can I do tomorrow to move ahead

if you're dealing with a difficulty in a

relationship what would be a simple win a simple moment of appreciation just

something they could say or you could say to put some more pop and energy back

into that relationship just one smile one kiss, one good day can change the

game for you also if it's just something simple you can do in your own health

sometimes going to the gym and leaving you feel a little better

just a little bit of movement has been proven to change people's states of

minds and their emotions too so just get in the gym or get a little bit of small

goal-setting get a little bit of momentum forward into any area of your

life that's at least the beginning and then do it again the next day

don't just go and crush it tomorrow and then be a jerk and do nothing in watch

seven seasons of Netflix on the next day momentum is daily little things

every single day adds up to greatness

integration my friend, integration, people don't believe in themselves

it's not that there hasn't been evidence that they shouldn't believe in themselves

they've had some wins they've had some

goals that came true they made the magic happen but they never integrated

the win, they never had a good thing happen and they sat there at the end of

the night thinking about that good thing to happen and allowing it to come into

their heart allowing whatever they did to give themselves credit for it

Permission to feel good about it, say you know what I did this today

it went well today that worked today and to integrate

that win, integrate that success, integrate that moment into their heart into their

identity as a human being what happens is most of us we can knock off the

checklist did it, did it, did it, did it did it, did it and five years later after

all these did it, did it, did it, made it happen, made it happen, crushed it

crushed it, crushed it five years later we feel the same about ourselves

the same level of confidence the same level of belief in ourselves because we

didn't allow those things to enter our psyche enter our spirit as strengths

we didn't, we had momentum externally but we didn't have any

momentum internally building our character our strength we never achieved

that sense of pride or ownership of what we did we didn't own it that we did it

so we never got stronger that means you need an integration practice at the end

of the day just sit down at the end of the day what worked today what did i

do today what little thing should I allow myself a little bit of credit for

what did I say that was nice what did I send a way that I got done

what did I finish, what goal did I move a little closer to, and just at the end of the day

to allow that to come in this isn't about just helping ourselves up and

saying I'm awesome, I'm awesome, I'm awesome, with no evidence.

I'm saying, you got some momentum integrate that now own that

you did the work today you fought the good fight you finished the day

you're still alive you know what you need to go do tomorrow integrate that

success give yourself that credit you'll develop that strength of spirit that's

so important if you don't believe in yourself after all that

get some feedback you know most people fear this, when you don't believe in yourself

you don't want any feedback because they might say you're stupid or

you suck, you're ugly and you know if they do that you're getting feedback

from the wrong people, sometimes it's necessary to get feedback from the

people that we love feedback from people we know like and trust and just say

hey can I ask you a question what am i doing that you're seeing that seems

right because right now I don't feel like I'm doing anything right and

they'll say what you're talking about No, you're smart, you're good,

you've been doing this sometimes people can give us feedback and help us see that we

are doing better than we think because maybe you're perfectionist or maybe you

grew up with somebody who pushed so hard on you you never integrated any

successes and sometimes you need somebody pushing hard at you saying

good job kid, you're doing all right proud of you I see that you working hard

here, I see that you're trying so sometimes

it's about getting around a new social circle of people who are strivers who

are also struggling who are fighting hard who can give you that feedback and

say good job keep at it and if you do get negative feedback over and over and

over assess is it real do you need to change and shift and get better and if

you do don't hate that don't get mad at that take that as a challenge instead of

taking things as a insult and crying over people's comments go huh you know

what that's kind of if you have some basis in reality I'm gonna take that as

a challenge I'm gonna develop myself not to prove them wrong but to get better

allow yourself that allow, that feeling to come from the feedback next up

I love this one is so simple it's just priming the emotions that we want to experience

in our life what does that mean it means doing something in advance so we can

feel it and here's what I mean by that in the morning every single day you see

I want to be motivated and driven I want to feel grateful for life

I want to have a sense of passion about the day but you know what some days

I wake up and I feel like crap so what am I to do go through the day and just

allow my impulsive feelings to tell me to feel like crap all day and lose

multiple days no I'm gonna say okay I recognize I feel like crap why I didn't

sleep well or or why I got this bad attitude right now I'm gonna change it

in the morning I do an affirmation practice and visualization practice where

I grab a little, just a couple of paragraphs maybe I read from

my Bible maybe I read from one of my books or another book, a passage

I have a bunch of passages in it my notes section my phone too if I'm on the road

and I'll just read it out loud pretending that I'm like in my most

passionate happy place in my life so I'll be reading out loud some

Franklin Delano Roosevelt, I'll be reading out loud to Martin Luther King, I'll be

reading out loud some Napoleon Hill or reading out loud some Earl Nightingale

as loud as I can and that voice activates a power which activates an

emotion which activates my day so you just got a prime emotion or sometimes

I'll be in the shower and I'll say what can I do today or what I'm going to do

day that would bring a laugh what can I do today that I'm excited for and I'll

just get my energy up like don't wait to have good energy in life remember as I

always say the power plant doesn't have energy it generates it you don't have

happiness you generate it so choose to prime the emotions you want experience

like cultivate it summon your energy versus hoping a good one lands on you

and you'll start to feel better about yourself and about life and the last big

one you knew I was going to go there

LOVE

You already know the thing about love yourself and maybe in some ways

you've never allowed that you've never noticed the beautiful things you've done

in your life so you never allowed yourself to love yourself but at some

point you've got to recognize that there's a love that's beyond you and

beyond me and beyond your actions and that love is whatever brought us here

alive today some would say it's God's will and God's love for some people it's the

randomness of the universe some people its nature or some people it's whatever

but there is something way beyond us and there's a way to access that and a way

to honor that and the way to honour that is to

recognize that you are unique about

7 billion people no one is like you specifically and at least take that as a

moment of saying ok I am meant to live my uniqueness, I'm supposed to love

the things that make me odd and weird I'm supposed to love the things that

make me strong, I was made this way so let me honor

what's good about that and what's not good about that let me work on that let me

set a schedule to get better at that so that I can not only honor what I've been

given but I can give something back to by getting better and that aspect of

doing that, that brings in so much joy and so much strength in our life is love

loving ourselves, loving the process and of course the greatest way to believe in

ourselves is to love other people that they become so grateful for us

that they give us some of that feedback

and today we are going to learn how to make Humita in a pot

The first thing we have to do is process the corn

with some milk in a food processor

In this time i used 1 kilo of frozen corn

but you can use fresh corn

there is no problem

And we are going to keep it in a bowl

so we can use it later

But first we are going to cut an onion

in little cubes

so we can make a base for our humita

We are going to cook our onion

with some cooking oil, until its transparent

And when this happens, we are going to add the corn

that we made before

This mixture has to cook for 30 minutes

at medium heat

The idea is to keep stirring the mixture

we add the butter

to get rich first, and philosophize afterward.

go deeply into the study of metaphysics, but who want results and who are willing to take

the conclusions of science as a basis for action, without going into all the processes

by which those conclusions were reached.

It is expected that the reader will take the fundamental statements upon faith, just as

he would take statements concerning a law of electrical action if they were promulgated

by a Marconi or an Edison; and, taking the statements upon faith, that he will prove

their truth by acting upon them without fear or hesitation.

Every man or woman who does this will certainly get rich; for the science herein applied is

an exact science, and failure is impossible.

For the benefit, however, of those who wish to investigate philosophical theories and

so secure a logical basis for faith, I will here cite certain authorities.

The monistic theory of the universe the theory that One is All, and that All is One; That

one Substance manifests itself as the seeming many elements of the material world -is of

Hindu origin, and has been gradually winning its way into the thought of the western world

for two hundred years.

It is the foundation of all the Oriental philosophies, and of those of Descartes, Spinoza, Leibnitz,

Schopenhauer, Hegel, and Emerson.

The reader who would dig to the philosophical foundations of this is advised to read Hegel

and Emerson for himself.

In writing this book I have sacrificed all other considerations to plainness and simplicity

of style, so that all might understand.

The plan of action laid down herein was deduced from the conclusions of philosophy; it has

been thoroughly tested, and bears the supreme test of practical experiment; it works.

If you wish to know how the conclusions were arrived at, read the writings of the authors

mentioned above; and if you wish to reap the fruits of their philosophies in actual practice,

read this book and do exactly as it tells you to do----

Chapter 1.

WHATEVER may be said in praise of poverty, the fact remains that it is not possible to

live a really complete or successful life unless one is rich.

No man can rise to his greatest possible height in talent or soul development unless he has

plenty of money; for to unfold the soul and to develop talent he must have many things

to use, and he cannot have these things unless he has money to buy them with.

A man develops in mind, soul, and body by making use of things, and society is so organized

that man must have money in order to become the possessor of things; therefore, the basis

of all advancement for man must be the science of getting rich.

The object of all life is development; and everything that lives has an inalienable right

to all the development it is capable of attaining.

Man's right to life means his right to have the free and unrestricted use of all the things

which may be necessary to his fullest mental, spiritual, and physical unfoldment; or, in

other words, his right to be rich.

In this book, I shall not speak of riches in a figurative way; to be really rich does

not mean to be satisfied or contented with a little.

No man ought to be satisfied with a little if he is capable of using and enjoying more.

The purpose of Nature is the advancement and unfoldment of life; and every man should have

all that can contribute to the power, elegance, beauty, and richness of life; to be content

with less is sinful.

The man who owns all he wants for the living of all the life he is capable of living is

rich; and no man who has not plenty of money can have all he wants.

Life has advanced so far, and become so complex, that even the most ordinary man or woman requires

a great amount of wealth in order to live in a manner that even approaches completeness.

Every person naturally wants to become all that they are capable of becoming; this desire

to realize innate possibilities is inherent in human nature; we cannot help wanting to

be all that we can be.

Success in life is becoming what you want to be; you can become what you want to be

only by making use of things, and you can have the free use of things only as you become

rich enough to buy them.

To understand the science of getting rich is therefore the most essential of all knowledge.

There is nothing wrong in wanting to get rich.

The desire for riches is really the desire for a richer, fuller, and more abundant life;

and that desire is praise worthy.

The man who does not desire to live more abundantly is abnormal, and so the man who does not desire

to have money enough to buy all he wants is abnormal.

There are three motives for which we live; we live for the body, we live for the mind,

we live for the soul.

No one of these is better or holier than the other; all are alike desirable, and no one

of the three--body, mind, or soul--can live fully if either of the others is cut short

of full life and expression.

It is not right or noble to live only for the soul and deny mind or body; and it is

wrong to live for the intellect and deny body or soul.

We are all acquainted with the loathsome consequences of living for the body and denying both mind

and soul; and we see that real life means the complete expression of all that man can

give forth through body, mind, and soul.

Whatever he can say, no man can be really happy or satisfied unless his body is living

fully in every function, and unless the same is true of his mind and his soul.

Wherever there is unexpressed possibility, or function not performed, there is unsatisfied

desire.

Desire is possibility seeking expression, or function seeking performance.

Man cannot live fully in body without good food, comfortable clothing, and warm shelter;

and without freedom from excessive toil.

Rest and recreation are also necessary to his physical life.

He cannot live fully in mind without books and time to study them, without opportunity

for travel and observation, or without intellectual companionship.

To live fully in mind he must have intellectual recreations, and must surround himself with

all the objects of art and beauty he is capable of using and appreciating.

To live fully in soul, man must have love; and love is denied expression by poverty.

A man's highest happiness is found in the bestowal of benefits on those he loves; love

finds its most natural and spontaneous expression in giving.

The man who has nothing to give cannot fill his place as a husband or father, as a citizen,

or as a man.

It is in the use of material things that a man finds full life for his body, develops

his mind, and unfolds his soul.

It is therefore of supreme importance to him that he should be rich.

It is perfectly right that you should desire to be rich; if you are a normal man or woman

you cannot help doing so.

It is perfectly right that you should give your best attention to the Science of Getting

Rich, for it is the noblest and most necessary of all studies.

If you neglect this study, you are derelict in your duty to yourself, to God and humanity;

for you can render to God and humanity no greater service than to make the most of yourself.

Italian Meringue Buttercream(ENGLISH SUBTITLES) - Duration: 4:20.

227g unsalted butter at room temperature + 200g granulated sugar + 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract/essence + 4 large egg whites + 60ml water

For this recipe it's imperative to have a candy thermometer + a thick bottom saucepan + a stand mixer

Let's beggin.

The butter needs to have this creamy/ointment consistency. And needs to be cutted into cubes.

Beggin by adding the water and sugar in the saucepan.

Stir to dissolve the sugar a little.

And bring it to the stove.

As soon as it starts to boil, brush the sides of the pan with water. Don't stir again or else the sugar will crystallize.

Put the thermometer.

In case you need to stir do it this way.

Wait until it reaches 235º F (113º C)

235º F or 113º C

At this stage you can beggin beating the egg whites until soft peaks forms. We don't want them overbeated.

It's good this way.

Back to the syrup. As soon as it reaches 240º F (116 ºC) remove it from the heat.

With the mixer still running add the syrup in a stream by the sides of the bowl.

Don't forget to reduce the speed of your mixer at this point.

When you finished adding the sugar syrup increase the speed to maximum and let it whip until the misture cools down.

To check the temperature put your hands along the sides of the bowl. It should be like at body temperature.

It means that you can't feel that the bowl burns. This step it's importante because if the meringue is too hot the butter will melt.

Reduce the speed again and add the butter a bit at a time.

The stand mixer is necessary because the hand mixers don't have enough power to beat this cream.

After you add all the butter scrape down the sides and turn your mixer on high speed again and let it beat until the cream is uniform and consistent.

If your cream curdles don't worry, keep beating on high speed and it will be back to normal.

At last add the vanilla and beat a little more.

And here you have a super firm cream. It is great for piping your decorations.

You can add any kind of flavour it doesn't have to be vanilla. It can even be citrus zest too.

2009-2014 F150 Putco Bar Design Lower Bumper Grille Insert Review & Install - Duration: 2:23.

The Putco Bar Design Lower Bumper Grille Insert in black is a good choice for any '09 to '14

F-150 owner who's looking for a quick, affordable, and subtle change to the front end in order

to make it a little more personalized and custom.

This grille is a pretty stealthy one that goes just under the $100 mark with a stainless

steel construction.

Now the installation gets a one out of three wrenches on our difficult meter, which I'll

walk you through later on.

Now this grille insert here is going to completely replace your factory one.

You don't have to worry about picking up a less impressive overlay instead of the real

deal.

This is made from state of the art, rust-resistant stainless steel materials, which keeps it

new looking for the long-term.

More so than an ABS plastic or lesser quality steel option.

It's finished in black automotive grade paint to protect against scratches, which is a huge

bonus in my book, especially since it's the first thing rocks will be kicked up at.

All of this comes in right around the $85 mark, which I think is a great price for a

complete replacement.

Some overlays run this much, so a full replacement with high-quality materials like this can

be a huge steal for this price point.

It really changes up the look from the factory lower grille area.

It even matches other black trim on the truck that you may have or any other Putco parts

for your exterior will match nicely.

Now it's easy to install with just simple hand tools, like a seven-sixteenths inch wrench,

and a five-thirty-second hex key, and of course no cutting or drilling is required, which

means it gets one out of three wrenches on our difficulty meter.

There are some exclusions however to what it will fit.

This particular one won't work for Raptors, Harley Davidson models, or 2011 Limited F-150s

but there are ones out there that work for those trucks.

The first thing you need to do is pop open your hood to gain access to the back side

of the grille opening.

2014 models will need to remove the plastic insert to install the new Putco grille.

Align the two bottom tabs with the slots in the bumper and rotate the grille up into the

opening.

Align the top mounting tabs with the existing holes in the bumpers.

Then with the head facing down insert the socket button head bolt through the upper

grille and the existing holes in the bumper.

Secure the bolts with the provided washers and lock nuts.
