Youtube daily report Oct 30 2018

"One of the most eccentric players that comes to mind for me, Shaquille O'Neal.

I mean, we can talk about his personality, probably for days, but...

Something about Shaq that I love is that he can rock a fur coat.

I mean, can anybody else rock a fur coat?"

Jordan: "Not at 7' 2"."

We've seen him in his own rap videos.

We've seen him as a news anchor.

We've seen him..."

"His performance at NBA All Star."

"Oh my gosh, let's pull up the video right now, because that was amazing."

Announcer: "And now... for the Western Conference,

a 15 time all star, center, and one of the most dominant players in the history of the NBA.

From your Phoenix Suns, the big Shaqness himself...

Shaquille O'Neal."

"So, Jabbawockeez were huge this year. And he, knowing how well he dances,

had to bring them on stage." "He is a great dancer."

"He is a great dancer. And you gotta imagine, like, I can't do anything close to that, and in his seven foot frame?

Like, that's impressive to be able to have that fluidity."

Suzy: "I mean, he must have practiced for a long time. A couple run throughs..."

"Oh, he had to. Are you kiddin' me?

Allthough it is god-given. Like, that is natural talent right there."

[ Laughter ]

"Oh my gosh."

"And what I love is that he's still going strong.

Who doesn't love the TNT gang? I mean, they all have strong personalities.

Charles Barkley for instance."

Jordan: "Oh, he'd probably be...

That's one of my favorite large personalities to have in a room.

Like, they go at each other, the banter that they have is incredible."

Shaq: "The star of that commercial.

Charles: "Hey!"

Shaq: "Shake it!

Shake it!

Shake it!

Now shake it mmm boom boom boo boo boop [ laughter ]

Shake it mmm boom boom boo boo boop..."

"I love it."

"They had such fun personalities on the court, too."

Jordan: "Yeah. And I think that's what drove a lot of their success.

Is that people, their peers, their teamates loved playing around them.

And they knew that they had a very quick switch."

"Right."

Jordan: "There's a fine line between having too much fun and...

you know, going to work and being all business.

And they knew how to teeter along that, while encouraging everybody to give their best self."

"But again, talking about big personalities, goin' to Dennis Rodman...

another great player of all time that..."

"I can't believe that would even slip my mind to start off. Dennis Rodman was 'the' personality of the 90's."

"Long time. I mean his outfits... talk about fits back in the day.

If you want to go back, we can start with him."

Jordan: "I tell you what, his fashion, looking now?

It's definitely something you would actually see on the streets of LA."

Suzy: "You would see someone wearing that now. Easy.

And on the court, again, his personality on the court was crazy.

I mean, Dennis Rodman, you never knew what you were gonna get with him.

And that's what made his play fun.

Like, I love those kinda guys."

"What about the current NBA right now?

Who would be the biggest personality that you would kinda feel would fit that bill?"

"I'm gonna go from a fashion standpoint, because that is what I do.

And I am gonna take Russ."

"Russ."

"I mean, his personality is huge and loud on the court as well.

But from a fashion standpoint, personality-wise, Russ is leading the pack, and I think that's great."

"And I love that, because I'm a little... not a fashion guru, but I like to dabble in a little bit of fashion.

I like my nice things.

And his style is so progressive. And I absolutely love it.

And one thing I love, from personality aspect, having that raw emotion, is such a huge part of personality.

And he probably plays with the biggest in this past decade, as far as emotion is concerned.

Every possession he's on the court he's bustin' his butt, when he does something like a dunk,

he literally puts all his effort in his celebration, more so than the dunk itself."

[ Yelling ]

"We've seen it now, big personalities have been able to translate into the commentating aspect, the commentating field.

Who do you think now, current NBA player, would be able to make that transition to an NBA commentator?"

"For me, I mean, I had a chance to talk to Kuzma and he is so well-poised for such a young individual.

So I think he would be great behind a booth right now."

"For me, I'd have to go with Joel Embiid.

I think he's gonna be a large personality like Shaq. And he's gonna have a ton of presence.

And by the time he gets done, I know he'll want to be involved with the sport as much as possible."

"He's behind his broadcasters doing dances all the time."

"So you know that he wants to stay within the basketball limelight.

And I'm excited to see him kinda try, I want to see him transition. I think he'll probably be the best fit for it.

I'm curious to see what people say in the comments. I know I'm sticking with Joel.

You're sticking with Kuzma."

"I'm sticking with Kuzma."

"We'll see what everyone says."

"Subscribe to NBA Playmakers. Make sure you ring that bell.

Enable those notifications so that way we can drop you more fire content. Be able to see it below.

But - ring that bell right now."

Meghan Markle was praised by New Zealand's Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern for working while pregnant - Duration: 10:47.

Meghan wows in $4,860 navy gown she previously wore at one of first polo events with Prince Harry as royal couple attend glitzy evening bash hosted by New Zealand's prime minister

The Prime Minister of New Zealand has praised the 'incredible' Duchess of Sussex for continuing to work while pregnant

Jacinda Ardern, who gave birth to her own baby in June, lauded Meghan for the 'role she's playing at such an often tiring time,' adding: 'I have real empathy and I think she's incredible'

The PM praised the couple as they arrived for one of their final engagements on their tour of New Zealand, Australia, Fiji and Tonga which is now drawing to a close

The couple were a picture of elegance as they made their way into the Auckland War Memorial Museum, Harry looking dapper in a navy suit and unbuttoned white shirt and his wife in a navy asymmetric dress Antonio Beradi dress, which retails at some £2,683

The Duchess recycled the gown which she wore back in May 2017 for her first polo event with Harry early in their relationship, at the Audi Polo Challenge in Coworth, Berkshire

The mother and father-to-be will head home after visiting Rotarua, having spent four days in the Land of the Long White Cloud

Earlier on in the day, Prince Harry and Meghan cut casual figures as they arrived to dedicate a 20-hectare area of native bush to The Queen's Commonwealth Canopy in Auckland and partake in a spot of welly wangling

The Duchess of Sussex donned a £317 blazer by New Zealand designer, Karen Walker, which she paired with J

Crew Toothpick jeans and £120 wellington boots by Muck

Meghan accessorised her look with Boh Runga earrings, which were a present from the New Zealand president, Jacinda Ardern, and the Swirl Tattoo Diamond Pendant

She later ditched her wellington boots for trusty Stuart Weitzman Legend stilettos worth some £292, pairing them with a Brandon Maxwell customised version of the Flutter Sheath dress £1,413 in Auckland

She then added a Burberry Silk 'Maythorne' sleeved trench costing £1,869 and wore her hair in a neat bun, as she and Prince Harry attended the opening of a charity that supports children who have a parent in prison through mentoring schemes

At the evening reception, the Duke of Sussex also showed his impressive language skills are as sharp as his sense of humour as he addressed a reception in six languages

Harry, addressing an audience of young people at a reception in New Zealand, offered his greetings in a few words of six languages: Samoan, Tongan, Fijian, Niuean, Cook Islands, and Maori

After rattling off Talofa lava (Samoan), Malo e lelei (Tongan), Bula Vinaka (Fijian), Fakaalofa lahi atu (Niuean), Kia orana (Cook Islands) and Tena koutou katoa (Maori), Harry was applauded by the New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern and the Duchess of Sussex

He said: 'This is definitely the first time I have spoken most of those languages, so I apologise if my accent wasn't any good, but I had to give it a go'

The reception was aimed at celebrating Pacific cultures, with singing, dancing and conversation with young people working to lead their communities

The duke also used his speech to joke about his morning's work welly wanging, which saw him narrowly beaten by his wife

'We're meeting little Kiwis, we're meeting big Kiwis, being treated to your fantastic food, culture and sporting activities - well, if you can call welly-wanging or gum-boot throwing a sport,' he said

'Perhaps we should have a three-test series and see who comes out on top?'

Jacinda Ardern, introducing the royal couple, told an audience at the Auckland War Memorial Museum: 'You all probably think you're here to meet our wonderful esteemed guests

But I'm sure Their Royal Highnesses won't mind me saying this: theyre actually here to meet all of you'

She added: 'Thank you for the warmth you have brought to your visit

Thank you for bringing such a genuine interest and focus on issues like mental health'

The couple watched an energetic performance from dancers SaintzUp and singers Tone6, with Harry nodding his head and tapping his foot as he got into the Polynesian rhythm

As they gave the performers a rapturous round of applause, young people aged 17-25 were arranged into small groups so they could come and mingle

The Duke told them: 'You guys are amazing', while Meghan asked: 'What issues are you working on?'

Hearing about their concerns about the environment, diversity and mental health, the duke, who is now a commonwealth youth ambassador, told them he hoped to 'make people more aware of some of the issues that matter to you guys'

Encouraging them to continue speaking out for their generation, he said: 'This energy, this connectivity, it's all here in you'

The duchess listened closely to a group from charity Inspiring Stories, as young women spoke to her about empowering indigenous minorities, getting young people involved in politics, and mental health

Speaking before the reception at the Auckland War Memorial Museum, Jacinda Ardern added: 'There's a real connection between particularly William and Harry in recent years so it's nice to have been able to host them in such close proximity'

New Zealand, like Australia, is a constitutional monarchy and as such the Queen is their head of state, represented by a Governor-General

When asked if the question of whether the Duke and Duchess's visit has changed views on New Zealand becoming a republic, Ms Ardern said: 'It just really doesn't come up as much

'The only time it really comes up is, often off the back of visits, people tend to ask the question

'What you'll pick up from the New Zealand public is that there is a real affinity for the Queen and a real strength of feeling around members of the royal family, particularly given, in the wake of some of our disasters, that they've been quick to respond and be present'

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex also donned a pair of stylish Wellington boots to take part in a 'welly-wanging' contest while visiting Auckland on the third day of their royal tour of New Zealand

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's first engagement of the day was a trip to a native bush reserve at Redvale on the city's North Shore

The royal couple's main focus of the visit was to dedicate the 20-hectare (49-acre) area of bush to the Queen's Commonwealth Canopy

They unveiled a plaque recognising the dedication to the QCC, which conserves indigenous forests for future generations, before planting trees at the site

But it was the Wellington boot throwing contest involving local schoolchildren which proved to be a hit with the crowds who turned out for the royal visit

Meghan's team emerged victorious, with the Duchess proving quite the natural in the unusual contest, given it was most likely her first time partaking in such a sport

She had swapped a stylish navy blue blazer for a black hooded zip-up jacket with a QEII National Trust logo for the occasion - the same jacket her husband wore

The $219 (£120/US$155) Wellington boots worn by the couple are from The Original Muck Boot Company

Meghan pressed her forehead and nose up against another woman for the traditional 'Hongi' greeting while shaking her hand at a ceremony to dedicate the area of native bush to the Queen's Commonwealth Canopy

Harry also embraced the woman's hand and gave her a similarly intimate Hongi hello at the ceremony

The couple received gifts from locals following the ceremony, including what appeared to be a knitted rug and a pair of green children's Wellington boots with cartoon characters on them

A drizzle of rain did not appear to dampen the spirits of Meghan, who appeared cheerful in the front row of the ceremony

Harry on the other hand appeared rather glum at one stage as he held an umbrella above himself and a man seated at his side

Meghan made good use of her Wellington boots in the wet weather, helping two school children plant a native tree to add to the area of bush in the Queen's honour

She appeared focused on the task at hand, as did her two young helpers, who also wore rain jackets and Wellington boots to protect them in the soggy conditions

.The couple later joined with the country's Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern in a visit to Pillars, 'a charity for children of prisoners' operating across New Zealand

The charity, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, a day ealier had spoken of their excitement about the royal couple's visit

'We are very much looking forward to welcoming the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to Pillars

It will be an exciting afternoon for our families and our staff and the small group of Pillars kids who will actually get to meet them,' the charity wrote on Facebook

The final day of their Royal Highnesses' tour will take place in Rotorua on Wednesday

The Duke and Duchess will head to Rainbow Springs to learn more about the centre's kiwi breeding programme

Later that afternoon, Meghan and Harry will head into the city for the chance to meet members of the public gathered there

The royal couple then heads back to London

New Zealand is the fourth country the royal couple have visited on their mammoth 16-day tour following visits to Australia, Fiji and Tonga

Kiribati / Gilbertese 30-Day Challenge Complete Collection (September 2018) - Duration: 13:36.

Hello everyone! My name is Jared. I am learning Kiribati again.

I need to learn how to write Kiribati to my friends.

I have a Memrise Course that I have used for 275 days in a row.

I love the Pacific Islands. I already speak Fijian quite well.

This weekend was okay, but it isn't over yet.

I am going to another event today.

I have to make another video in Fijian for another project I am doing. And another translation, too!

There are two ways in which I study.

In my house, where I read books and do Kiribati-language writing exercises

Then there is outside, in which I listen to Kiribati music.

I worry about climate change a lot.

Kiribati is probably the nation on earth that climate change threatens the most.

But I think that there is more to Kiribati than just disappearing islands.

That's why I am learning this language.

1. Do you have any flags in your house?

2. Do you know any place in New York City where I can buy flags?

3. What is your computer wallpaper?

4. How many dictionaries do you have in your house right now?

5. Do you like September?

1. If I could go to any country, I would pick Kiribati, Tuvalu or Tokelau.

2. Americans believe that money is life's report card. Sort of.

3. I spend 30 minutes a day learning Hungarian and 30 minutes a day with Kiribati.

4. I want to buy a flag of Greenland, a flag of Kiribati and a flag of Tuvalu to decorate my room.

I think that my pronunciation is a lot better after one week.

The Gilbertese Language is supposed to sound Micronesian, like Palauan.

I've had trouble with the pronunciation at times. Luckily it is getting better.

My three best qualities are the following:

I can make a lot of connections between things in my mind.

I want to explore.

I want to be different from other people.

The "k" in Kiribati is pronounced near the back of the throat.

The combinations of vowels are also important.

The Gilbertese Language should not sound like Hawaiian or Tahitian. If I am wrong, let me know.

Matthew 1:2-5 in Kiribati (Not a lot of spoken texts that I can find the corresponding audio for.)

Ya it's just a list of names nothing to listen to here lol

Okay maybe there's a bit more than that

Making subtitles is hard yo

I'm tired

Back to our usual programming soon I promise. :)

Leviticus 23 : 23 - 25 (in honor of Rosh Hashanah)

My new Navajo video is coming soon

If I put in the full Bible verses here I would get repetitive strain injury. Thank you for understanding. :)

I already have my own website. Three of them, in fact.

I have a website for the Kaverini Games, another for my language learning and another one for my travels.

I haven't updated some of them for a long time, though.

For translation, I use Glosbe and Tatoeba.

There are a lot of sentences translated into many languages.

For Kiribati in particular, I use Steve Trussel's website.

Actually, learning Kiribati would be impossible without that website.

Three things are important for a "time capsule".

Snapshots from a smartphone (of chats, of apps, etc.).

Pictures of myself are also important.

Maybe also receipts and a language-learning textbook.

I could say that being an independent country means that you control your destiny.

But yet again, Nauru is independent and seems to not be fully autonomous.

There is independent according to the U.N, and actually independent, and the two things can be different.

I think that I have been making a lot of progress. However, I think that my motivation has been weaker.

I have been tempted by other languages a bit, such as by Marshallese or Samoan.

But I need to stay focused. That is important.

Yesterday was the National Day of Papua New Guinea. And I forgot it.

Pity I didn't do anything. Tok Pisin is one of my strongest languages.

I really like the idea of the Pomodoro Technique.

Interestingly, I don't think that I am distracted by programs very often.

Usually I am distracted by my own feelings. That can actually be a bigger problem.

If you are addicted to technology, one thing I would recommend would be to get a whiteboard.

Make a task that doesn't involve a computer or a machine and do it every day. For example, draw in your notebook.

Four things I need for an ideal day of study:

(1) A feeling that my goals can be achieved. (2) Self-confidence. (3) Great motivation. (4) Not being anxious about anything.

I don't think that the Tooth Fairy exists in Kiribati Culture.

However, here are some interesting words about teeth:

Wimakamaka – in English, "having decayed teeth". And wiraraoi – in English, "having beautiful teeth".

Do you like the United States?

The infrastructure is weak and the government doesn't care about the people, but the people are curious and kind.

Do you want to visit Kiribati one day?

Maybe. It would depend on money and the environment. I also hear that there isn't a lot of Western food available. I don't like fish very much.

In Finnish, the word for November literally means "the month of death"

It is interesting that I was actually born in November.

When I think of Autumn, I think about many Jewish holidays and my birthday. Happy Sukkot!

I attend language events twice every week.

Once on Sunday and another on Tuesday. There is another one on Saturday but usually not too good.

But maybe in the future it will be better.

Compliments and feedback are good things. I wouldn't have been capable of learning my languages without them.

I've had enough criticism in my life.

Good listening is like a tennis game. Respond to people in accordance with what they say or do.

I like to think about what Yoda said: "Do or do not. There is no try."

I would really like to thank a lot of the people in the Polyglot Groups.

I have self-doubt often, but I think because of these groups I am very encouraged. That is important.

I have to work for a synagogue this weekend. That will be very fun.

And that is thirty days. See you in October!

The Magic Economics of Gambling - Duration: 11:24.

According to conventional economic rules, casinos shouldn't be able to exist.

That's because conventional economic rules assume humans are rational.

Conventional economic rules would predict that, if someone offered you a deal where

you gave them $100 and they gave you $94.80 back you wouldn't take that deal but for

some strange reason, perfectly intelligent people head to the roulette table every day

and, in essence, take that exact deal.

Just look: an American roulette table has 38 numbers on it—double-zero, zero, and

one through thirty-six.

The best odds on the table are in the red, black, even, and odd boxes.

If you put a $5 chip in the red box, for example, and the ball falls on a red number you double

your money, you gain $5, but of course the ball can fall on zero or double zero which

are neither red nor black and, for these purposes, neither even nor odd.

Now, if the zero and double zero didn't exist then playing roulette would make perfect

sense.

If you came in with $100 and played infinite times you would leave with $100 because it

would be a 50% chance of doubling your money each time.

In reality, because of those zeroes, the odds of doubling your money are actually 47.4%.

That means that for every dollar you play you can expect to lose 5.2 cents but for some

reason people still do it while this small gap in between fair odds and the odds casinos

and other gambling institutions offer earn them worldwide close to half a trillion dollars

per year.

But consider this.

For the same reason gambling shouldn't work insurance also shouldn't.

Insurance is essentially the exact opposite of gambling.

Insurance companies are basically gambling companies but the roles are flipped—the

insurance companies are the gamblers and you're the casino.

If you pay a car insurance company, for example, $1,500 a year to insure your vehicle they're

gambling that you're not going to cause more than $1,500 in coverable damage in any

one year but of course it takes money to run the insurance company so they need a margin.

MetLife, one of the world's largest insurance companies, for example, takes in $37.2 billion

from the people who hold insurance policies with them but then pay back in insurance claims

just $36.35 billion.

Of course there are other sources of revenue and other expenses at MetLife but just looking

at the balance between what comes in and what goes out for insurance the odds are pretty

decent compared to the roulette wheel.

For every dollar you give them you can expect to get about 97.7 cents back but that's

still that's losing money.

According to the same conventional economic rules that say that casinos shouldn't be

able exist insurance companies too just shouldn't work as a concept because people get back

less than they put in but here's why they do.

Just consider this: would you rather, with 100% certainty, receive $5 or would you rather

have an 80% chance of receiving $6.25.

Feel free to think about it for a second but chances are that you said you'd rather have

that sure $5.

When surveyed with this question over three quarters of respondents said that they wanted

the certain $5 over the 80% chance of $6.25.

But here's the strange thing: these two options are worth the exact same amount.

If you took the 80% gamble infinite times you would receive an average of $5 each time

as 80% of $6.25 is $5.

Therefore, in theory, people should have no preference between these two options because

they're worth the exact same amount.

But here's the thing: people, in general, dislike losing a given amount of money more

than they like winning it.

That is, the negative effect of losing $5, for example, is greater than the positive

effect of winning $5.

Because the second option comes with the chance of loss, which is a negative experience more

powerful than the positive experience of certainly gaining $5, this option is worth less overall

even if it's worth the same in a dollar amount.

This is why insurance works.

Insurance is a worthwhile gamble for the insurance company since the odds are in their favor

and they make money while the gamble is worth it for you because the monetary amount you

get back plus the absence of monetary loss makes the deal worth more than the money you

put in overall.

Of course it is a bit more complicated than this since insurance companies often have

preferential rates for healthcare and it helps smooth out economic shocks so, despite being

a gamble, it is absolutely worth it in most cases but insurance, at it's most basic

level, is loosing to avoid loss.

This principle of hating losing can be used to make the same amount of money worth more.

In one experiment 150 teachers in Chicago Heights were split up into three groups.

One group received nothing, one was told that they would receive a bonus at the end of the

year corresponding to how well the students test scores were, and the third group was

given the exact same deal for a bonus with the only difference being that they were given

the bonus payment upfront at the beginning of the year and told that they would have

to pay back the corresponding amount if their students did not score the test scores necessary.

The group that was promised the bonus if test scores improved performed largely the same

as the group offered no bonus but, the group given the bonus up-front overall performed

much better with test scores improving up to 3 times as much as the traditional bonus

group.

It's clear that the fear of loss is far more powerful than the promise of gain so

this explains why insurance works but, for this same reason, gambling still shouldn't

work but something interesting starts changing when you change the odds.

Now, remember that three quarters of people preferred a sure $5 to an 80% chance of $6.25

but now think whether you'd prefer an 100% chance of receiving $5 or a 25% chance of

winning $20.

Once again the options are worth the exact same amount since 25% of $20 is $5 but, with

this change in the odds, those surveyed on average had no preference between the two

options.

Half preferred the sure $5 and the other half preferred a 25% chance of $20.

But let's change the odds again.

Would you prefer an 100% chance of receiving $5 or a 0.5% chance of winning $1,000.

Still with these numbers 0.5% of $1,000 is $5 so the two options are worth the exact

same amount but, with these options, for the first time people prefer the gamble.

Only 36% of respondents said they would take the $5 while 64% preferred the half percent

chance of winning $1,000.

What we've begun to understand is that humans like low-probability risk.

We like a small chance of winning big over a certain gain.

In fact, you can see this at the racetrack.

The best horse might have 2/1 odds where you get $3 if they win for each dollar you bet

while the bottom might have 200/1 odds where you get $300 if they win for each dollar you

bet but, as it turns out, on average, the chance of the top horse winning is actually

better than 2/1 and the chance of the bottom horse winning is worse than 200/1 because

people prefer betting on the underdog which inflates the odds.

You could therefore make more money betting on the horse that's likeliest to win.

Crunching the betting data from 8,000 tennis matches it was found that the bets on the

best athletes with the best odds actually made money on average with 103% of the money

won back while the bets on the worst athletes with the worst odds won just 81% of the money

back.

Evidence for this phenomenon has been found time and time again but the question of why

we do it is tougher.

The simple answer for why this is is that people overweight the impact and chances of

extremely low-probability events.

This has been used to explain why people are so afraid of terrorism and plane crashes despite

the chances of dying of either being monumentally small.

It really doesn't matter if you know that the odds are not in your favor like with the

lottery or in the casino.

People still love risk if it comes with large returns and this is why gambling works as

a concept.

Everyone just has some arbitrary point where, given two options with the same value, they'll

start accepting the risk over the sure money.

What that means is that in a gambling transaction with someone who bets and someone who accepts

the bet both parties actually find what they're doing worthwhile.

The casino finds what they do worthwhile because they make money while the bettor finds what

they're doing worthwhile because they have the possibility of winning lots of money.

Now, the explanation for why people prefer these low-probability bets moves further away

from economics into psychology but one explanation with the lottery, for example, is that a bet

doubling one's money does little to change one's quality of life but, a bet multiplying

a person's money by a factor of thousands can be truly life-changing so people are betting

for monumental change rather than for another cup of coffee.

To summarize, what this all means that a 5% chance of $100 is worth more to most people

than $5 despite both having a monetary value of $5.

Therefore, by offering gambles people can make money more powerful.

Almost everywhere in the world there is an issue of low-savings rates: people don't

put enough money into banks.

About half of Americans could not immediately come up with $2,000 if an unexpected expense

came up according to one survey.

A big reason for this lack of savings is that banks are not incentivizing enough.

With how tiny savings accounts' interest rates are many people just don't see a reason

to put their money in banks and banks are unwilling or financially can't increase

their interest rates so how do you make the same amount of money go further?

You turn it into a gamble.

Economists created a concept for what's called a "prize-linked savings account."

A normal savings account with $2,000 in it at a bank that offered 1% annual interest

would earn $20 a year but, with a prize-linked savings account, instead of being given the

$20 in interest it would be entered into a gamble with, for example, a 0.4% chance of

winning $5,000.

As always that gamble is still worth $20 monetarily but to the gambler it's worth more.

These prize-linked savings accounts have been incredibly successful so far at getting people

to save.

In Michigan's trial of the system 56% of those using it were first time savers.

These same principles are the ones that make lotteries work.

In fact, lotteries are just such easy ways of making money that in many countries privately

runs lotteries are illegal.

In the US, for example, all lotteries have to be state-run and their profits usually

go to funding education.

Because the states are guaranteed to make money from the lottery it is essentially a

form of taxation.

In fact, all forms of gambling are set up in a way that they're guaranteed to make

money for whoever's running them.

In a casino, at the racetrack, or with any form of gambling it's never a good deal

for the bettor but, the reason why people engage in these deals is a fascinating study

of behavioral economics and its principles, if applied correctly, can sometimes, just

maybe be used for good.

What's always a good deal, though, is Squarespace.

[All Subtitles] BTS Bon Voyage Ep 7 - Duration: 1:03:53.

[BON VOYAGE SEASON 3 BEHIND CAM]

[ The friendship of three teams is becoming stronger]

- How do you feel now, J- Hope? - Feel so nice. Feel so good!

- Did you get here alright? - Cool!

[Found a pub nearby] - Irish pub is there. - Let's go.

[ It seems busy inside] It seems quite crowded inside.

- Do you like me? - Really?

- Let's go. - Are there seats?

So,

You stand up and eat food on the streets like this?

[ Let's just go!] - I think there are seats inside. - Shall we?

[Jin is about to take a walk alone leaving the restaurant]

I have this question as I was walking along the beach in Malta.

Tiger! Tigers are very strong?

I heard that they are strong even in the water.

[ Not sure where he is going] Tigers in the ocean....

The king in the ocean is a shark. Who will win between a tiger and a shark?

[That's his question] [Tiger vs shark, who's the winner?] In the water,

I posted this question in the fan cafe.

I think Korean fans are sleeping now.

[ Couldn't think of the time difference with Korea]

I didn't quite think about that.

I am off to have some drinks.

I like staying at a hotel alone.

[The oldest one is very confident alone] I eat alone most of the times.

I eat BBQ alone but I haven't had drinks alone.

[Jin, trying to get some drinks alone] I am going to do that in Malta.

Cars...Hello? You know BTS?

[The little one at the hotel?]

Time to color my hair!

[Half half?] Half and half time!

[Seriously half and half as you said before?]

Never thought I would dye my hair by myself.

[ The little one is having a blast alone at the hotel]

Show time!

[Hehehe]

[Nervous] Well....as I see it,

This is not going well?

[How it will turn out....(nervous)]

Wow, I am full. Gotta see the view out there?

- Is this a kiwi? - Fig I think?

It is not a kiwi?

It is a fig.

[ Handler, Jimin?] - Try it. - No.

- Why? - You should try things first.

Okay!

Yum. Yum.

[The one who tries to fool and the one who won't get fooled] - Your face trembled. - Yum. - It trembled.

- I am fine. - Try it. - I am fine.

[ Well, a real friend] - Try it . - I am fine.

- Try it. - Let's do cheers before I eat it. - Just try it.

- Cheers first. - Try it. - Cheers first.

[Aegyo boy]

[You win] Just take a bite.

[Jimin gave in V's aegyo] - Take a bit. - Okay, Okay.

- Tastes like a mango. - Right.

Okay, cheers!

[ 94s having cheers at a pub]

[It looks so refreshing]

- So nice! - Very busy here. - Right.

- Good. - Right.

[ Loving the time with his friend] I just love it.

- Wow, we are doing this. - Right.

Take a selfie?

[Selfie time]

1, 2, 3!

[ 94s' friendship is getting stronger]

Great!

- I will remember today. - Right.

[Jin is at a pub alone!]

[Everything is so new]

Popular drinks are up there.

[Popular drinks are up there] Looking good.

[Jin is super social even here] Right, you know South Korea?

Do you know BTS?

[ The staff is actually looking up BTS now]

- Wow, you are so popular with 5 million views. - Thanks.

[Jin is very proud and grateful]

Everyone seems to be busy.

Okay, I am getting a drink.

[ Cheers with Army] Cheers!

[Take a lemon]

[Salt]

[Salt one more time]

The combination of salt and lemon is good.

I think I can sleep well.

[ Let's hope for his good night sleep]

I do not like traveling so much.

I get to travel via Bon Voyage.

So that is good.

Things that I don't normally do.

I actually do like traveling. I am just lazy about it.

I get to travel thanks to Bon Voyage.

[ Jin gets to go to places thanks to Bon Voyage] It is so fun.

After this, when you see people busking on the street, you do that too.

Good!

[ Following Jungkuk, V is also doing busking?] - I will be there for you. - Right.

Or you can do busking here!

[That is no!] - They might be like ' are you here to ruin my business'? - Oh no.

Sing a song.

[Sing a song right away]

Stand here and do it!

[ Let's enjoy 'Sunday Morning' by V]

[What a lovely song]

[V wanted to try busking on the street] I wanted to try that.

It is still considered busking if I do it here?

Gotta have a mic.

[ Jimin is encouraging V who is shy] This is a mic for you.

[Shy]

- Ring. - Ring attack bro!

Look how far we came. Have drinks with 2 cameras in a pub.

[Check this out] Well, how old are we?

[Nothing new] We drive well.

- How old are we! - You were so cool!

I think the trip in Malta is fun.

Slightly ....different!

It will show how far we have come .

[ This season will show you how far BTS has come] We did show many of that.

BTS....

What should I say? BTS....

Adult now?

- It doesn't sound cool. - 20 years old.

Having good day!

We were 20 years old.

[ 94s who were 20 years old are now 25 years old] Wow.

Right, we were 20 years old back then. Now, 25.

We have come a long way.

[Looking around]

I didn't know before,

[Good] - The atmosphere is good. - Right, good.

Do you...by any chance....

[Jin is asking him to say hi ] This is my camera. Say hi.

- Hello. - Hello.

[Super friendly] - What is your name? - Charles.

[Introduced to each other] - Charles. - My name is Jin.

[ Want to have a drink with the owner] Do you want to have a drink with me?

[Whisky for me!] - It's on me. - I will have whisky.

- You want whisky? - What do you want?

[Interpreting Jin's words] I....What is the green one over there?

- This is peppermint. - Peppermint? - Yes.

- Is it delicious? - Yes. This is mint. Do you want ice?

Yes .

[The owner is making the mixed drink]

- Hold on. Let me put some ice. - Thanks.

[Jin is looking at the process right there]

- Cheers for Malta. - Cheers for Malta.

- Cheers. - Cheers.

[In Italian] [Evviva= Cheers] - Cheers. - Geonbae in Korean.

[Cheers = Geonbae] - Geonbae! - It means the same.

- Geonbae? - Geonbae?

[Jin explains to the owner] - Geonbae! - That's Korean? - Yup. - Geonbae!

- Geonbae. - Geonbae. - Thank you.

Good?

[ Perfect for Jin] Good.

When you came here the first time, the food was good? That's what I asked.

[ The owner started to converse with Jin] Was it me? Right, I remember.

[ This is not the first meeting] Broadcasting.

My name? My name is Jin.

Malta is very beautiful.

- Is this your first time in Malta? - Yes, it is.

- You enjoy here? - Yes. I am enjoying.

[It seems like Jin is not alone]

I wish there are people busking. I want to hear your singing.

- I wish there was a good mic. - What are you going to sing if there was a good mic? - Huh?

' Lay me Down?'

Or 'Sunday Morning'?

[Music from somewhere]

Who is it?

Do you want to watch it here?

I want to do it here.

Tell them.

[ V is just passing as if he weren't interested]

[Looking around]

Wow.

How do I tell them I want to do it?

[ V is determined to do busking] How should I say it?

I love that we are taking this break .

I am just taking it easy now.

It's been 3 years and half.

[ RM is feeling the pressure as his last mix tape was released 3 years ago] Little scary.

I was very scared.

Every one of you made one except for me.

[ J-Hope got more attention because of it] Right.

[ Mix tape that was released as an idol and a rapper] When people are all ready,

I think I need to go further.

- Like mix tape... - Mix tape is like....

It is a pinnacle of being incomplete?

I don't know. It is hard.

Hard.

If I make a new one, then I will take it easy.

I won't feel too pressured.

Right, that's what I am trying to do.

[Mix tape] - What I did. - I was too pressured.

- You have done a great MV work. - Right.

Put so much effort in it.

- It might not be well received. - Oh no.

[Amazing mix tape made with lots of effort] I wish it came out well.

I think it is well made truly.

[ Candid talk time] Let's go.

Amazing!

Shall we?

Thank you.

[94s back to being mischievous]

[Another mischievous one here] What happened there on the back?

[ Jungkuk cannot check his back since he is alone] Half for sure?

It has to be half exactly.

[Found the camera]

[What is he doing?]

I can see it.

[Done? Done?]

[ Super smart checking his hair by turning the camera]

[ Touching]

Well, who cares!

[It is amazing to get that far by himself]

[ Jin's laughter which fills the entire place]

Anything else you want to recommend?

I want...

[ Want something sweet but can't say it] - Sweet....- Liquor...?

- Is it good? - Or whisky? - Whisky? Good.

[Jin ended up drinking whisky] - Want whisky? - Yes, I like whisky.

Nice whisky.

[Nice whisky!] Nice whisky!

Yeah good.

I should have studied English! My English is....

[Here overseas] [ Realized how important English is ] If anyone tells you to study English,

Please do it hard!

It is hard to explore without RM.

[You are fine]

I can't speak English well. Sorry.

I can't speak Korean.

[ Even with the language barrier, Jin can handle everything]

[95s got the seat]

- I.... - Yes.

[Worried]

- He is singing so well.... - Don't worry too much.

[ V is super worried] Among those people here.

[Jimin keeps encouraging V] After tonight, who is going to see you in person?

[You live once!] Do it if you want.

Sing a song and let's walk around.

I am here to hear your song that you want to sing.

[The crew] [ Is talking whether V can do busking] I wish I could do it.

I think it went well.

[Super nervous] Really?

[ V is thirsty ] Water please.

[So cute, my friend]

- Are you nervous? - Huh?

- Nervous? - Well, not so much...

[ Not so nervous but practicing hard]

[ Seems even more nervous since it is not the usual stage]

That is fine. Just do the first verse, Taehyung.

[I don't hear anything] It could be off. So make sure to click it.

[Walk over there in confidence]

Hello.

[Saint Julian, satisfied 300%] I think it was a good decision to come here.

It was a very good decision.

Wow great!

[ Walking on the pretty street] The view is great!

BTS! Are you watching this?

- We are here. - We got to Saint Juilan.

Wow, my legs.

[ RM and J- Hope sitting on the bench]

- Great! - So good!

[ Everything is great now]

Great!

Amazing!

[You two are amazing as well!]

Wow, beautiful!

I love that I am not thinking anything.

[Coming from inside] Excuse me!

[ Bill please!] I want to pay....

Bill please!

How much is it?

[ To remember this moment. Why not selfie] I am going to take a selfie with the owner.

[ Paid the bill] Thank you.

Do you want to take a photo with me?

- My pleasure. - Thank you.

Shall we go there ?

Behind the bar?

[ Walking to the bar] Great! In the bar!

Now we are friends!

1, 2, 3!

Thank you.

- It was nice to meet you. - Yeah. Have a nice day.

[ Now, Jin made a friend in Malta just like that]

I want to say to him ' good luck with your business' but I don't know how to say it.

- Thank you. Bye. - Bye.

[(Though it is night)... have a good day] Good day! God bless you!

God bless you!

Thank you.

[ Sad to say bye to him] See you next time! Bye Bye!

- See you tomorrow! - See you tomorrow!

I had some drink and I am on my way back to the hotel.

1 minute to the hotel. Then I will be home.

[ Jin talking about his day] I met a great friend and had a drink with him.

It was fun.

[Happy] I am on my way home. I wasn't planning to have a drink.

I am out alone and talking with him ....

[Great!] [It was possible since it is Jin] It was nice getting some drinks.

Guys,

[Talking this and that] In fact, I...

I eat alone often.

[ Jin likes hanging out alone] I even go to BBQ place a lone.

It is not that I like eating alone.

I think you can still find some fun.

So I think it is good to do that once in a while.

So I am now at the hotel.

I am home now.

[ Closer to Jin's eventful day] Thank you.

[ V in front of a lot of people]

[Jimin who is rooting for him in the back]

Let me begin.

[V- Sunday Morning]

[Smile ]

Thank you.

[Successful busking with lots of cheers]

Thank you.

[Jimin sending V lots of claps]

[Walking over to Jimin ]

[Amazing V!]

It was amazing!

- I didn't really know the lyrics. - Huh?

[ Even though you didn't know the lyrics, as long as you had some fun] It was fun.

[ Why isn't Jin going in?]

[In fact, just before] Hello.

[On the way home] My teacher,

[Talking with people in his neighborhood] Bye. Have a nice night!

[He seems so local here...] I know many people.

[ Exchanging good night with people] - Good night! - Good night!

[ Pressing the password on the door]

Well...this is not it!

[Jin....can't remember the password ]

I think I took a picture.

[Where is it?] I guess I must have taken pictures.

[Searching]

[Keeping searching]

Please, tell me the password.

Please help me.

[Jin was able to enter thanks to the staff]

Oh, no.

To make the show fun.

[Jin is a professional] It is perfect this way.

Please, make some claps for me.

[Jin, nothing has been edited]

[Acting] Oh, the password!

[(Aha!)] Oh, I got it.

[He forgot the front part]

[(As if he figured it out)] Oh, I got it.

Hey, bye. I'm done.

[He managed to get home]

[The night has darkened since he traveled around along all day long]

Good job.

[Busking was awesome] - I just did it. - Cool.

- The first-ever busking. - I liked it. - Really? - Yes.

- Awesome. - I love singing.

[V felt burdened] You know, in front of the audience, singing is really tough.

Well, don't push yourself too hard. It is just fun.

You did a good job.

Did you record me?

- Recording? - Yes. - Really?

[Proud and shy]

[J-Hope] Lots of pictures with RM.

[However they are still taking more pictures: 94 kids]

1, 2, 3.

Selfie? Tell me how it was today.

Sliema!

- Happy. - Really good.

Please come here. This is awesome.

Sliema!

Walk along the Sliema street.

You may sleep in this area when you come to Malta.

- Sliema. - Did you see what we did here?

Pose "Love" in front of the "Love" signage.

Thumbs up!

Go to a pub.

[RM's tip for Malta trip] [Take picture in front of the "Love" signature] Grab some beer.

Hey, cheers.

Cheers.

Let's go.

- Go. - Here we go.

[RM's goodbye kiss]

Take your sack.

Oh, right.

[Jungkook is applying the product]

[Jin] Good, half half.

[Jin is checking Jungkook's hair]

Half. Good.

[Jin] Half seasoned spicy chicken. Half fried chicken.

Half seasoned spicy chicken. Half fried chicken.

Don't come there. No.

Do not cross the line.

[He is working hard on his hair]

Washing up.

Do you wash?

- More minutes? - Hey, how long?

Well, it's been five minutes since I applied it.

It took 10 minutes for me.

Well, that will be okay.

[He is excited about his new hair] Good!

Close your eyes.

[Jimin wants to surprise V with Valleta's nightview] I will escort you.

Close your eyes.

Wow, awesome.

- Are you opening your eyes? - No.

- My eyes are closed. - It is safe.

Do not be scared. Keep your eyes closed.

Hey, you!

Closed.

Almost, almost. 5 meter? 10 meters?

Close your eyes tightly!

Hey, I am saying.

We are here. Almost.

Hold me.

Hey, you can open your eyes now.

Oh!

[Jimin wanted to show the night view to V]

Wow, this is awesome.

[V's cam] - Wow. - It is so cool.

- Do you like it? - Where is the moon.

Not yet.

[We love the night view and we love you] - This is so cool. - Right?

Too bright. It is hard to see the stars.

But, it is still awesome.

You like night views. I wanted to show you this.

Cool.

Awesome.

- I did a good job. - I want to see other views too.

[Jungkook is cleaning up]

[Jin] - Washing your hair? - Nope. Why?

[Jin with a mask pack on his face] Wait more seconds.

Look.

Am I cool?

Half, half.

Yeah, that is cool.

[What are you talking about?] - Love is half-half. - What?

Hey, I am going to bed.

I am going to bed after drying my hair.

Let's go to bed.

Well, I am wondering about the back hair.

Half, half.

Half, half.

[Satisfied to some degree]

[Half half]

[Drying to look at the hair]

Look.

Tadan!

Wow, it feels like my neighborhood.

[95 kids almost got home] - Here. - Yes.

- I found it. - What?

We use this road.

Hey, I figured it out first.

What? I pass here all the time.

[They've arrived holding their hands]

- Bye. - Go.

You don't know the password?

[V doesn't know] - Nope. - Okay.

- I will open it. - What is the password?

Hey, we need to do this.

Hey.

[95 kids wrap up the day]

[The night is deepening with their friendship]

[Next morning]

[J-Hope's voice] Let's go, Jungkook. They're in a line. Hurry up.

We have to wait in line. Let's go.

[J-Hope & Jungkook are the 1st couple] - What do you want? - Brunch.

- What is that? - Maltese brunch.

[Taking a ferry to Sliema] Let's wait here.

[Taking a ferry to Sliema]

[The 2nd couple: Jimin & V] The ferry is here.

[Hurried]

- Well, relax. They are hopping off first. - Oh, right.

We are too hurried. Just relax.

[95 kids pretend to be relaxed] Let's pretend.

[Checking time] How much do you have?

I gave you all.

- Do you have leftover money for yesterday? - Yes.

- Yes. - Sure.

How much? You use that today.

Lots.

[J-Hope is taking care of everything] Receipts?

- Well, yes. I have them. - I have 130.

[Jimin gets confused] Did I? I gave that to you?

You gave it to me.

[Selfie time] With Jungkook! 1, 2, 3!

[Learning Sliema] - Sliema. - Here we can get tickets.

- What? - Here, the tickets. - Really?

What's the difference with the upper and the lower seats?

Let's go upstairs.

[What?]

- Didn't you push the recording button? - Sorry.

[G.C.F. can make mistakes. It is only human]

- Hello, two people. - How much? - 3.

Let's go. Thank you.

- Thank you. - Let's go.

[So hurried to get a seat upstairs] - Let's grab one. - Yes.

Going upstairs.

Well, we have to sit here.

[J-Hope & Jungkook are shy] - Hello. - Hello.

[Jimin and V are still waiting] I wanted to get this ferry.

Are there seats available upstairs?

Two.

Thank you.

[Eye contact]

Can we?

I want to be up there.

[95 kids made it too]

Hey, I will enjoy the vibes there.

With iced Americano.

Brunch, you know? Fried egg.

- Sausage. - Yes.

- Potatoes. - Yes.

- Hash potato. - Yes.

You know what I mean, Jungkook.

[What?]

[G.C.F checks the camera view]

You are a professional.

I am Golden Closet Film.

- What? - It is safe if it moves.

- Oh, that is supported by the frame. - Okay.

Very good.

[Morning trip] [RM & Jin] What do you want?

What do you have?

Italian?

Italian or seafood.

- Oh, let's go to Jungkook's recommendation. - I don't know the name of it.

- I know where it is. - Really?

Oh, did we get the money?

I have 50 euros.

We didn't get money from J-Hope.

- It is enough. - Really?

[J-Hope has departed] He left.

- You don't have any money? - A bit. - How much?

Well, I have some leftover money after I had drinks yesterday.

[They had money, fortunately]

Busking?

- You want it? - Yes.

I dreamed of you doing busking.

- Really? - You skipped the 2nd verse.

The foreigner said in Korean.

Hey, you have to go to the 2nd verse.

If you don't, just quit.

Hey, I wish you had sung the 2nd verse.

Did I in your dreams?

No, you didn't.

- Really? - No.

[The ferry is sailing] It is so cool.

Looking at Valleta from here...

Beautiful!

Awesome.

Valleta is the most beautiful one.

- What? - The best one.

Hey, no. No.

[It was Saint Julian, actually] I saw Sliema yesterday with RM.

It was like a port.

Well, it was around the beach. We went to a pub.

It was incredible. Night life there on the street.

Here, it is Hannam. Here, Gangnam.

[Cute] Hannam and Gangnam.

[Jungkook's comparison: Valleta=Hannam, Sliema=Gangnam]

It's so hot.

- I promised to speak in English. - Okay.

- So hot. - Come on, English. So hot?

- Yeah. - What do you wanna eat?

I want to eat the menu Jungkook chose.

What?

I don't know. But very very delicious, he said.

I wanna eat Chinese cold noodle.

[They are mixing Korean and English] Wow, Chinese cold noodle.

- Hey, that is Da...blah blah? - Yes.

- Da...blah blah! - Do you know cold chicken noodle?

It is so delicious.

- Chicken breast meat...awesome. - To the left.

- It is so hot. - They open at 1:00.

[It is normal in Malta] - Really? - 1:00

- I hope it opens now. - Oh, god.

We might have to go to a brunch restaurant.

Oh, my.

It may be closed, now.

[The two teams arrived in Sliema] Hey, we split here.

- Bye, bye. - When do we get back together?

[To the harbor] By 1:00.

[Research on good restaurants] Cafe Cuba?

- Wow, hey. Here. - Cuba!

- Wow. - It looks good. - Yeah.

- Cuba. - There are seats available for us.

Wow, it is so different from the other side of the building.

It looks like New York.

- Have you searched any good place? - No.

Okay, let's just have anything.

[They are searching the best place]

- Here. - Here?

- Right. - Yeah.

- It is open. There are people over there. - Yes. - Okay.

Open?

- Hello, open? - Yes, we are.

Let's go outside.

Can I sit here?

[Let's get some fresh air here]

[Here is the menu] Hello.

We want brunch.

No brunch?

Breakfast?

It's over.

Really?

Only drinks?

Food!

What is the best menu?

Two people.

- Nacho, do you like it? - Nacho.

- Spicy. - Spicy.

- Do you like it? - Good, nacho.

- One nacho. - Quesadilla and chicken?

Quesadilla? Do you like it?

- No? - There are tacos too. - Which one do you want?

- Taco. - Okay, taco.

We want taco.

[Oh, smell!]

It makes me hungry.

[95 kids] One?

- Let's grab it and keep walking? - Yes. - Good.

[Yummy]

- Good? - Yes.

- You like it? - Yes.

Hey, how is yours?

Just bite here.

[Thank you]

[Jimin take one bite too]

Wow, it is so special.

It feels like we are high school students.

Walking and eating triangle kimbap.

I remember.

What else...

Spicy chicken something. I used to buy it in front of the school.

- Cheese spicy chicken. - It was incredible.

Hey, look at your hair.

[Yellow and red] - Half, half. - Look.

What happened?

Why. No reason.

We want some salad.

Salad is good.

How much do you have? Oh, my 50 euros.

- No. - I am serious.

[OMG] Please, don't say it is one euro.

Oh, I must have dropped it.

[He had it then] - That is enough. - Really?

[Dumbfounded] I am serious.

65 euros, bro.

[Where is it?] I was about to treat you.

[Let me see...] We might have to go to a brunch restaurant.

Oh, my.

[Here!]

[That is what happened] It may be closed now.

- Okay, let's do this way. - Excuse me.

- Did you pick? - This one, first.

This salad, one. Please.

[Please help me]

We will order a main menu later.

And I...

Risotto.

Me, Maltese ravioli.

- Maltese? - Yes.

Ah, the dog's name!

- Wow, a very famous dog. - They are from Malta.

Yes, yes.

- I am full. - Me too.

Really?

So, let's skip the meal.

Wow, here are hamburgers.

- Go, go. - We have to try here.

- It is fast. - What? - Fast.

Yes.

- It is air-conditioned. - Too hot outside.

We should have been here earlier.

Why were we taking some effort out there? It is our destiny.

Jungkook's boyfriend-like shots?

[Jungkook's concept] Boyfriends do not focus on the table.

[Thy are unique]

- Suga. - What? - Suga.

Wow, Suga.

I don't have pictures taken with Suga.

Yes, none of them.

- Hey, you are really good at maps. - Five times, I have walked here.

- This street? - Yes.

This area.

When I travel, I don't go far from the hotel.

- So... - Suga, too.

So, we clicked when we traveled for the first time.

You've traveled a lot.

Jimin and V are...

Oh, yeah.

[I don't understand] They are in Sliema but...

Wow, they are really...

Do you want this?

[Good on me?}

- You are V. - You, Jimin.

[V...He was Jimin]

[Jimin...He was V] Pictures.

Where are my eyes.

- No eyes here. - Light is reflected.

[Here is food]

- Let's take pictures. - Yes.

Look.

- Okay, wow. - Cool.

Nacho looks yummy.

- Taco. Nacho. - I need some pictures. - Quesadilla.

Our brunch has just begun.

- Let's get it. - Go, Jungkook.

[Good]

Wow, can I use my hands?

Incredible!

- Jungkook, tacos. - Only three.

You have it. I am full.

[He missed it] What? Oh, look at this.

- You have wrap it. - What are these on the top?

[Let's just eat]

[Clapping] Amazing.

I love this taco.

What do I have to wear for tonight's special dinner?

Hey, the blue one.

Did you wear that then?

[For special dinner, he got something] I brought one more thing.

You said you have another neck tie.

- I have one more shirt. - I am looking forward to it.

[His original plan as a RM wannabe] Your RJ pants...

and a RJ top...that was my plan.

But I didn't because I was scared of you.

Why, why would I hate that?

I would just say some bad comments.

That is a sort of scolding!

Wow, potatoes are really awesome. They are perfect with hamburgers.

[Oh]

It is like having salad.

Yummy.

[They are sharing food]

Let's split it.

- I watched "Bon Voyage". - Me too.

A scene was moved to another with other members. They were connected.

So, we have to do this.

Hey, what may Jungkook and J-Hope be doing now?

[Tadan] You take taco.

- I am full. You take it. - I am full too.

Open your mouth.

Good boy.

Yummy?

[They are enjoying their meal too]

- Bon appetit! - Thank you.

- Thank you. - Your Korean is very well.

There must be lots of Korean people here.

[They had no idea] Bon appetit? That is a difficult Korean expression.

[The waiter asked the staff how to say it in Korean]

I am full. Have you ever tried flying boards?

- What? - Flying boards.

What is that?

What?

[Thrilling]

It won't be easy.

Can you do it?

[Worried but excited] I can't.

It looks fun.

[Nice weather in the afternoon]

[Hey, it is a flying board!]

[ After eating, BTS came here to try the flying board]

Hi teacher!

[Hi five with the instructor] Nice to meet you.

- Hello. - Hello.

[Another teacher] - Nice to meet you. - Hi.

- Another teacher! - Yes.

[Confession] We are very scared.

[Huh?]

[Don't worry]

Ask if you have any questions.

If you don't understand, let us know. We will explain.

[Still nervous] - No danger? No danger? - No danger.

[Zero danger] Zero danger.

[Wearing the helmet] Okay? We can still talk.

[ It was performed after the safety training with the expert]

When you fly in the air,

[Let's do it] - Let's do it. - Let's go.

[RM Jungkuk is trying the first]

Let's go!

Wow, so cold!

Jungkuk, is the water cold?

It is cool.

My turn.

[Face first since I am scared]

RM!

He uses his body well but cannot speak English.

He doesn't really know how to move his body but can speak English well.

[ONLY English?][ Live training in the water] Who goes first?

- Which one will be faster? - Right.

- The competition of the century. - Which training will be done faster?

JK, show us what you got!

[JK] Good, JK.

Hey, your hair is so funny.

[Breathing]

Keep drinking up the water.

Jungkuk, do you like the taste?

So good!

[Am I alright?]

[Am I alright?] It's okay?

- Delicious? - I don't know!

Go!

[Turned upside down]

[It takes time]

[Will][Burning eyes]

[Burning]

[Am I flying?]

[Standing]

It seems difficult .

- It must be hard to keep the balance. - Right.

It looks easy.

Can't see Namjoon.

[Super nervous]

Oops!

[RM standing] - Oh, Namjoon ! - He is standing now.

He is good?

[Well straight into the water with the compliment]

Okay.

[In the meantime] [Trying so hard]

[Why can't I do it?]

So hard.

[But] [Standing right up ]

[Excited]

- Jungkuk is getting it now.

Going up and up!

[He got it]

[??] [Amazing !! wow]

[Turn]

[Proud] [Proud] Okay.

- Namjoon is flying. Flying. - He is flying.

[Finally standing on the water] Nice!

Namjoon is so cute.

[ Looking at him reminds me of dudeoji game] Looking at him reminds me of dudeoji game.

He was up and down.

[Ta da]

[Having fun] [Going up and down]

[Oh my]

[Super cute when he falls]

[This is what Jin saw]

[A lot of things are going on here]

[Like this][Like that]

[Cute]

- Oh, Jungkuk is going up.... - Super high...

[Jungkuk is now a pro]

[Free turns]

[Swirling]

Good.

Nice.

Thank you. You are the best teacher.

[Next, Jimin and V]

As long as you can make turns up there, it is a success. It is hard.

[So sad it is finished] I could have done better turn.

You did well.

It was so fun.

[Ready?] Taehyung, are you ready?

Let's go!

- Taehyung will get the hang of it soon. - Right.

Jimin, are you ready?

[Not yet....] Let's go!

[V just gets on it just like that?]

Amazing!

Stretch your legs. Not like that.

Good!

You shouldn't run.

[Oh no] What is it?

[Run Run]

[ Back to water] [Back to water]

Jimin is falling backward. He'll have to do it a few more times.

[In the meantime, V is rising above the water]

[Applause of compliment]

[So fun]

[(Let's do this with composure)]

[Going up]

- Jimin, go up! - He took off a lot.

[Oops!]

Dance!

[Dance?]

[His body reacts to the music]

[Dancing]

I'm doing this.

He's trying to make a turn.

- I want to see you do it. - Me?

Make a turn for me. Because I failed.

[Jimin figured out how to do it]

[Almost became one body]

Let's go, Taehyung!

Taehyung, heart!

- Huh? - Taehyung, heart!

[Just love]

[Proud]

[Finally][My turn] I'm scared. So scared.

[Entered in the water] [He looks like he played in the water for 3 hours]

I can't believe it. This is too much fun.

[This is Malta] Don't lie backward.

[Jin] [He said "This is Malta"]

[Already nervous]

There he goes.

Hope is good.

Okay, let's go.

Why, why?

[Jin] [Screaming. What's this?]

Yeah!

[So loud from the start] Yeah! Let's go!

Let's go!

[Satisfied with the shouting of the eldest]

[This is the world-wide class of making a fuss] Okay.

[Meanwhile, Hope got the feel faster than expected]

Here comes Hope.

Hope is a real fast learner. Amazing.

[Just a little bit] [Only, he's scared now.]

Wow!

[Oh, gosh]

Okay, I understand.

[Confident]

[Wow]

In my life, he is the one who knows how to enjoy life.

[Only, he screams ceaselessly]

[At that time]

[Frozen]

Great. Good.

[Sharp] Hope doesn't move his body.

He's just like me.

[Stiff body and voice]

Left! Right!

[So happy even if he fell into the water]

How to make a turn?

[Spinning]

Okay. That's it.

Making a turn is difficult. Making a turn is difficult.

Hey, you should to that when you reach higher.

Really?

[1. Rise] Okay.

[2. Keep going]

[3. Spin]

[This time, pose and spin]

[Anpangman]

[Yeah!]

[Widened nostrils]

[Yap!]

[Let inform you that Jin's in his best condition]

Sorry!

Let's go!

[Unique pose]

[Mischievous] Let's go! I'm Superman.

[Pleased] [The oldest is fed with love of younger brothers]

[Get out of my way!] Let's go!

[Came back after having fun in the water]

- What's that? - Pictures.

There were nothing on the map at first. But now it's filled with photos.

- It's full now. - I know. - So many photos.

- Jimin worked really hard on it. - He did it all.

[Jimin has filled the map since the beginning of the trip]

[Working hard]

Since today is our last day here, I and RM also attached all our photos.

We took and recorded a lot.

Look at Suga. His one-shot photo.

- Where? - The one with Suga wearing sun glasses.

- Here it is. - Valletta.

[Hi, guys] - It's the only solo picture of Yoongi. - I know.

[Suga is there too] There's also his photo with Jin.

[Malta lover] I love Malta.

The place with most photos is..

[Around the hotel] - Valletta where our hotel is located. - Right, Valletta.

- Sliema, above it. - Sliema.

Photos on the left is from Mdina.

Photos from Mdina.

Photos above there are taken on our way to Gozo Island.

No, that was from the first day on the ship.

- You attached them there because we were on a ship? - We were actually here.

I attached my picture on the right in the wrong place.

It should be on the left, in the harbor.

- Because you want all the attention. - Of course.

To get our attention, your face..

Then that's the only picture taken from Gozo Island.

- I took a photo of Jungkook when he was driving. - Right.

Jungkook, did you miss something?

Me? I also have photos on my phone.

- Really? Then connect it to the printer now. - I should print them now?

You go ahead, please.

[A bunch of memories] We made lots of memories.

We also have lots of memories that we want to print out.

I found it fun, attaching the photos on the map.

It looks pretty when photos are gathered.

[True] It was fun. Many things happened.

I have so many photos of Yoongi on my phone.

- Are you printing them now? - Yes, I'm. - Okay.

I feel so sorry. I wish I would have joined you.

Will each one of you pick one most memorable photo?

[Let's pick! Best photos!] Okay, best photo.

- Best photo. - Let's pick each one's best photo.

[What's RM's best photo?] I think Jimin put it on the map.

[The night on the camping ground] Around St. Peter's Pool. The group photo in the corner.

- The camping night was the most fun moment. - Right.

- Here? - Yes.

The one on the top.

[Group photo on the camping ground] That group photo.

That is the most memorable picture for me.

I picked the same picture.

It is the most meaningful.

Because I did something that I had never done before that night.

- It was fun. - I think I would never forget the night.

[Jin's best photo?] Personally,

the ramyeon we cooked together.

- It was good. - We cooked that ramyeon the day V arrived.

[Ramyeon-holic] That day is the most memorable day.

It was so delicious, ramyeon.

For me, the moment when we first stepped in Malta.

That's the photo that I took as soon as I arrived at the airport.

[Fresh] The importance of an angle.

- You look like a beaver. - Really?

It looks so funny.

[I'm not a beaver.jpg]

- What about Jungkook? - I didn't take the photo.

The photo of me, that RM took while I was driving.

The photo didn't contain all but his eyes were like.. You know, right?

[Driving with eyes] His eyes were telling that I'll catch up with that car.

It was really meaningful trip.

Because we don't usually get to drive ourselves.

[Driving themselves was strange but also] So, it was really fun.

[a new found beauty of travel] When I drove the car myself, I could see all the roads.

Such moments remained in my memory.

[Jimin's best photo?] Me?

[Difficult] It's really difficult to pick just one out.

We should have take a group photo there.

- You didn't take a photo there? - No, I didn't.

I just looked for it on my phone, but I couldn't find any.

[Goose bumps] Didn't Suga take photos with his phone?

- That' would be amazing. - If that turns out to be true..

[No, he did not..] No way.

[Jimin's best photo is the group photo!] My best photo is the one that's not here.

Anyway, we did took the picture. Let's put it on the map later.

[They were so busy saying greetings] That was my best cut.

[So couldn't take photos]

- It was short, like around an hour. - Group?

- Around an hour. - But..

- Honestly, that is the best photo. - About 30 minutes.

- Because we all were together. - Seven of us.

[Right] - That' is the best photo. - True.

And here's a photo of Yoongi.

[Photos of Suga, taken by Jin] He really didn't like to be photographed.

[Just 2] Most of all, it looks so hot.

Rather than looking hot.. He looks like a student reluctant to go on a school trip.

[Mischievous concept of Suga] - He is really camera-shy.

But he tries hard when he takes photos for our fans.

[Like this] Trying various angles.

[Jungkook found something] - This is it. - Done?

Who are they?

- You and RM. - Put it on the map, quickly.

The shape of us looks like a heart.

- That's the friendship. - Friendship.

[That's the friendship] Jungkook took this photo for me.

It was when we had a boat party.

- It does look like a heart. - Right?

[So proud] - That's so true. - Isn't it the best?

[Photos that captured the moments of Bon Voyage]

[Photos that will remind members of memories]

[Photos capture only moments but memories last forever]

[We know it]

A letter to myself? What should I write?

A letter to myself. It sounds difficult.

Shall we write now?

Hope.

- Is it a letter to current myself? - Should we write "To J-Hope," like this?

[Any point of your life is OK, only if you write to yourself] Future me, past me.

Wow, it's more difficult to write a letter to myself.

I'll write in the room.

What should I write?

We can just write honestly about what we think, right?

Hello, Jin. I stopped there.

Honestly, I don't have any words to say. Then I stooped. Thud!

[Even more difficult to write a letter to themselves] I keep repeating writing and erasing.

Me, too. You do, too?

It's difficult.

Oh? No.

[My precious Tata..]

Don't put your hand on me.

- Is it okay without the pen? - Yes.

[Can't staying still]

What do you keep doing this? Why?

[Counterattack] Shall we see your letter then?

To copy mine?

[No way] Oh, it should be a good writer.

[Very][Serious]

[Writing letters in their own way]

[What did they write on the letter?]

[Next week!] ["A letter to myself" will be released]

Do you remember?

Your writing pose is funny.

- I have nothing on my letter. - I have something.

Isn't it "Malta in Hustle Life?"

Hey, this!

What's that?

We always hang out together. But we should be together.

There are moments that you're going to miss.

I think there are many lovely moments.
