Youtube daily report Dec 4 2018

How Meghan Markle Was Destined for the Spotlight?. An excerpt from American Princess recounts Markle's Hollywood upbringing and early moments of stardom.

On July 29, 1981, Doria Loyce Ragland was days away from giving birth to her first child with Thomas Markle

Around the world, 750 million people were glued to their television sets to watch the royal wedding of the Prince of Wales and Lady Diana Spencer

How could Doria and Thomas ever have imagined that the second son born to the royal couple would someday get down on one knee and propose to their daughter, not yet even born? Americans are more likely to win the lottery.

Doria and Thomas's marriage was one made in Hollywood. As reported in the Daily Mail, in the late 1970s, Thomas, a divorced father of two, was a lighting director for the popular ABC soap opera General Hospital when he fell for Doria Ragland, who was temping as an assistant makeup artist.

Thomas, then 35, and Doria, 23, married on December 23, 1979, at the Self-Realization Fellowship Temple, a New Agey church on Sunset Boulevard

The six-foot-three-inch groom, wearing a tweed blazer and ginger-hued shirt, towered over his five-foot-two-inch bride

Doria looked like a schoolgirl in a modest white pleated skirt and short-sleeved blouse, with a coronet of baby's breath in her hair

Their only child, Rachel Meghan Markle, was born less than two years later, on August 4, 1981.

From the start, Meghan was adored by her parents. Doria's nickname for her has always been Flower

According to his son from his first marriage, Thomas junior, who was living with his father and stepmother when he was 14, Thomas Markle had been a workaholic-until Meghan was born.

The family lived in a neighborhood that Meghan has described as "leafy and affordable"

On paper, a great place to raise their daughter. What the area wasn't was diverse

In an article for Elle magazine in 2015, Meghan wrote, "There was my mom, caramel in complexion, with her light-skinned baby in tow, being asked where my mother was, since they assumed she was my nanny".

Meghan acknowledged that she was too young at the time to comprehend how difficult it must have been for her parents to endure such institutional prejudice, but they made a safe and happy place for her in the world.

When Meghan was about seven years old, she coveted a particular boxed set of Barbie dolls for Christmas: the Heart Family consisted of a mommy, a daddy, and two kids

A perfect nuclear family, as imagined by Mattel. But the sets were sold only in white families or black families

In her Elle article, Meghan recalled not particularly caring at the time which set she received-just that she wanted one of them

In her immediate family, skin color had never been politicized. That Christmas morning, under the tree was a box wrapped in holiday paper flecked with glitter

Meghan opened her gift to discover a black mommy, a white daddy, and a child of each skin color

Her father had customized the Hearts.. Whenever anyone marries into the British royal family, genealogists have a field day

Meghan and Harry have proved no exception. Catherine Middleton and Prince William were discovered to be 14th cousins once removed through his mother and 15th cousins through his father

Their common ancestors go all the way back to the Plantagenets and the reign of Edward III, who ruled from 1327 to 1377.

According to genealogist Gary Boyd Roberts, a researcher at the New England Historic Genealogical Society, in Boston, Meghan and Harry are 17th cousins, thanks again to the prolific Edward III, who had nine children who survived to adulthood

According to Roberts, one of Edward's myriad descendants was an ancestor of Meghan's father, the Reverend William Skipper, who arrived in New England in 1639

Other common ancestors can be traced back to the 15th century, such as Sir Philip Wentworth, a knight and courtier who was a great-grandfather to Jane Seymour, third wife of Henry VIII; Mary Clifford, daughter of John Clifford, the seventh Baron de Clifford; and Elizabeth Bowes and her husband, Richard Bowes-ancestors of Queen Elizabeth.

Meghan may have other family ties to Windsor Castle, as reported in the Daily Mail

Family lore via the husband of a second cousin of Meghan's father, former U.S. Air Force colonel Ken Barbi, holds that Markle's great-great-great-grandmother Mary Bird worked at the palaces

A search of royal-household staff records does locate an "M. Bird," who was employed at Windsor Castle in 1856

Furthermore, Markle will be the first person who is a descendant of slaves to marry into the British royal family-something that the tabloid press has seized on and trumpeted to tone-deaf (and often worse) effect.

At the same time that Mary Bird would have been working for Queen Victoria, and while some Markle ancestors were living in prosperity in New England, still other forebears were forced to live as someone's property in rural Georgia

A run-down railway town almost due south of Atlanta, Jonesboro has a few claims to fame

The site of a Civil War battle, it was also where the author of Gone with the Wind, Margaret Mitchell, spent a good deal of her childhood.

Meghan's ancestor Richard Ragland was born into slavery near Jonesboro around 1830, as reported in The Sunday Times

That part of Georgia, Clayton County, was on the edge of the western frontier. Revolutionary War veterans were encouraged to become pioneers by entering land lotteries

But it was rough, inhospitable territory that the government had seized from Native Americans-nothing of the moonlight and magnolias of Mitchell's revisionist fantasy.

One of the people who settled this land was an American of English descent. William Ragland was a Methodist whose family originally came from Cornwall

A planter and land speculator, he had moved from Virginia to North Carolina to Georgia

Slaves were often given their masters' surnames, as was the case with Richard. After his emancipation, Richard and his descendants became one of Georgia's black families named Ragland.

Meghan's great-great-grandparents Jeremiah Ragland and Claudie Ritchie left Jonesboro for Chattanooga, Tennessee, but the family fled the region's prejudice and violence during the Jim Crow era, moving north, then west, as part of the Great Migration

With so many white men being sent overseas to fight, the recruitment of African-Americans by northern industries resulted in employment opportunities

In California, the Raglands became teachers and real-estate agents.. "Social awareness came early; Meghan was raised to give back.

Meghan's maternal grandfather, Alvin, married a nurse who gave birth in 1956 to Doria

Meghan describes her mother as a "free spirit," and others say she is as effervescent as her daughter

"Giggly, warm, passionate, brilliant, nurturing, and fun," according to a friend who has known her since Meghan was a baby

Doria was born and raised in a middle-class African-American community of Los Angeles

She later earned a master's degree in social work from the University of Southern California and became a yoga instructor

Her specialty is working with geriatric clients. Doria still lives in Los Angeles, in View Park-Windsor Hills, one of the wealthiest primarily African-American residential neighborhoods in the United States.

Thomas Markle, meanwhile, had grown up in a small blue-collar town in Pennsylvania

He wanted to be a stage technician so he moved to Chicago, where he worked on local theater and television productions.

Thomas was only 20 when he met Roslyn Loveless. She was already pregnant with Samantha, the first of their two children, when they married

Samantha's brother, Thomas junior, was born two years later. But within eight years the marriage was over

Roslyn moved to New Mexico with their children, while Thomas headed for that iconic Hollywood sign.

And that was how things went until 1979, when Doria stepped into his life. But the marriage was not made to last

Meghan's parents separated in 1983, when she was only two years old, but they made every attempt to provide their young daughter with a stable home environment

After the separation, the three of them would still vacation together, as Sam Kashner reported in Vanity Fair

On Sunday evenings, after Meghan had spent the weekend with her father, the burly, bearded Thomas would drop her back at her mother's, a second-story home on a wide street lined with stately royal palms in the diverse Miracle Mile neighborhood.

The single-family homes and low-rise multi-unit dwellings feature classic Southern California architecture: stucco façades with terracotta roofs

Out front, postage-stamp-size lawns are fringed with flowers and succulents. In Doria's apartment, after Thomas brought Meghan home, the trio would watch Jeopardy! together as they ate their dinner off TV trays in front of the set

Never once did little Meghan catch her parents arguing. She would often see her half-siblings when she visited her dad, and got along well with both of them.

In 1987, the year her parents finally divorced, a new sitcom, Married . with Children, hit the air

Thomas was a lighting director for 11 episodes during the first season, and from 1988 through 1996 logged 198 episodes as the show's director of photography

Meghan was a frequent visitor to the set, where the stars would make a fuss over her

She was bitten by the acting bug before she became old enough to be inoculated against the hardships of a career in show business.

Back then Meghan wore her hair in a fluffy ponytail or in two braids secured at the top and bottom of each plait

Meghan's grammar-school class picture hung on the white wall of her bedroom. Stars, hearts, and rainbows abounded on the matching Care Bears curtains and comforter that covered her bed.

Also hanging on her wall was the iconic World War II WE CAN DO IT! poster of Rosie the Riveter, hair neatly tucked under a polka-dot red kerchief and shirtsleeves rolled up, arm flexed to prove she's as capable as any man.

Social awareness came early; Meghan was raised to give back. As she wrote on her now defunct lifestyle site, the Tig, at Thanksgiving, the family bought turkeys for homeless shelters and delivered meals to patients living in hospice care

Meghan noticed the "quiet acts of grace" her parents would perform for those who had less, whether it was donating their spare change or acknowledging their shared humanity in a small way-a hug, a smile, or a pat on the back

It was a life lesson that stuck forever.. Meghan had been only nine years old when the violent police beating of Rodney King made news

A year later, when the four Los Angeles police officers who had so viciously beaten King were acquitted, unrest and arson spread throughout the Los Angeles metropolitan area

To ensure the children's safety, Meghan's school sent the students home. Ash from the street fires was everywhere, settling on suburban lawns.

As Meghan later recounted to Vanity Fair, she exclaimed, "Oh, my God, Mommy, it's snowing!" "No, Flower, it's not snow," her mother told her

"Get in the house".. Meghan's activism started not long after, as she was watching television commercials for a social-studies assignment about messaging

First up, a spot for Robitussin cough syrup that referenced "Dr. Mom". Young Meghan was immediately struck: It's always 'Mom does this' and 'Mom does that'.

Then the ad for Ivory dishwashing liquid came on the air: "Women are fighting greasy pots and pans"

Meghan knew the premise was sexist, and she decided to do something about it when two of the boys in her class started yelling at the TV screen that the kitchen is where women "belong".

Meghan recounted her memories about that formative assignment at the United Nations on International Women's Day in 2015: "I remember feeling shocked and angry and also just feeling so hurt; it just wasn't right, and something needed to be done

So I went home and told my dad what had happened, and he encouraged me to write letters

So I did: to the most powerful people I could think of".. Meghan's letter to the soap's manufacturer, Procter & Gamble, read: So I was wondering if you would be able to change the commercial to 'people'

She also sent letters to civil-rights lawyer Gloria Allred, then First Lady Hillary Clinton, and Linda Ellerbee, a Nickelodeon news anchor

Ellerbee was so impressed that she did a segment on Meghan. A month or so later, Meghan saw the commercial again

The voice-over now said: "People are fighting greasy pots and pans". Meghan told her U.N

audience, "It was at that moment that I realized the magnitude of my actions. At the age of eleven, I had created my small level of impact by standing up for equality".

With success comes responsibility. That's one of the tenets of Meghan's Los Angeles high-school alma mater, Immaculate Heart

She didn't need to be taught it; it was and remains part of her ethos.. With time, and her own rising star, Meghan would also come to see how her profile could create a platform

And she has used it to become involved in global and women's issues that are not only of personal interest to her but of vital urgency to the planet

She traveled to India in January 2017 to learn about women's economic development

When she learned that 113 million adolescent girls are at risk of dropping out of school in India because they lack the social support and sanitary supplies to deal with their monthly periods, she campaigned to raise awareness

Meghan also has been an ambassador for the World Vision's Clean Water campaign, journeying to Rwandan villages to highlight the importance of building clean wells

In her speech at the United Nations, she advocated for gender inclusion: "Women need a seat at the table, they need an invitation to be seated there and, in some cases when this is not available, they need to create their own table

We need a global understanding that we cannot implement change effectively without women's political participation".

Now, according to Kensington Palace, Meghan will begin her married life with a fresh slate, which means a focus on different charities, likely those already under the umbrella of the foundation that Prince Harry shares with his brother and the Duchess of Cambridge

Perhaps her causes are viewed by the Crown as too "political"; no member of the royal family is permitted to publicly express a political opinion

It remains to be seen whether Meghan can convince the Windsors that her activism should be enfolded into Harry's foundation as well.

British historian David Starkey noted that Meghan and Harry's union is "the first globalized royal marriage"

She is "international in a way which no other royal has ever been".. Yes, Meghan Markle is different from every royal bride in the long history of the British monarchy, in all the ways the public and press have focused on.

But Meghan Markle is something else that no other royal has ever been. She is a standard-bearer for young women who have been told that it's impossible to "have it all"

Meghan embodies a spirit of can-do.. When it comes to her racial identity or her career or her philanthropy, her status as an independent woman or the wife of a prince, Meghan has never been either/or, but always fiercely, proudly, both.

Anne: Welcome to the VO BOSS podcast.

I'm your host, Anne Ganguzza, along with my gorgeous, entrepreneurial cohost Gabby Nistico.

Hey, Gabby.

Gabby: Oh my, thank you.

Hello.

Anne: [laughs]

Gabby: I feel the love.

[laughs]

Anne: Gabby, I think you mentioned to me the other day that we have a listener question.

Gabby: We do.

It is time for another BOSS Fix.

I wish we had like a dramatic like drumroll.

Anne: Drumroll, please.

[drumroll starts]

Gabby: Yes, drumroll.

Anne: Not a good drumroll.

I can't.

Gabby: I'll find something in post.

It's OK.

[both laugh] [drumroll ends with cymbal crash]

Gabby: So this comes from our good buddy Dave Clark.

Dave sent me this.

He said "hey, BOSSes, I'm looking at Upwork for the first time ever and seeing mmm rather

mediocre talent making some pretty hefty money, upwards of six figures.

What the hell?"

[both laugh]

Gabby: "Is it a big no-no to be seen there even if you're posting a decent rate, say

something like $300 an hour?

Do you set up an account under a different name?

Do you participate?

Do you not participate?"

He makes a great point.

He says "who doesn't want a piece of $100,000?

Thanks for any insight you can offer."

Anne: Good question.

Wow.

Gabby: Right?

Anne: Back in the day, when I first got into voiceover, I spent a good amount of time on

the freelancer sites, and back in the day it was freelancer.com, Elance -- I think Elance

now has become Upworks.

Gabby: So there's tons of them.

I actually --

Anne: Yeah.

Gabby: -- have a list up in front of me over the top 20 online freelancer websites.

Fiverr, which of course everybody knows about, Upwork, freelancer.com, DesignCrowd, guru.com,

Nexxt, spelled with two X's, TaskRabbit is a big one.

You hear a lot about hireable.com, and there's, there's loads of others, man.

There's so many of them.

Anne: Well, Gabby, before online pay to plays in the voiceover industry, this is how freelancers,

you know, evolved and made money and stayed home.

And I think it was, I want to say, back in the early, either the early 2000's or late

1990's is when I started noticing them popping up, because that was when everything was starting

to happen on the Internet.

And people, you know, were trying to make money from, from home and creating their own

side businesses.

And so I think these sites are the pioneers of online casting, but for multiple industries.

Gabby: Oh absolutely.

And you know, you're right.

It was an early technological evolution really of the Internet.

And it was the origin of what everybody now calls the side hustle, right?

To really get right down into Dave's question, these sites can be valuable, but there's varying

degrees based on the site's reputation, and based on the types of clientele the site attracts.

So you know, Fiverr you and I have spoken about pretty openly, I think.

Neither one of us is a huge fan of Fiverr, even though there's a lot of data to suggest

that they've changed their business model a good bit.

Anne: Well they have, oh my goodness.

Gabby: Yeah.

Anne: I mean, over the years, they've definitely evolved.

I think we were discussing this the other day, Gabby.

I believe that the whole escrow model, that's when it started, you know, people started

wanting to have a secured payment.

That's when these places, Freelancer, Elance, whatever sites came out and started doing

that because it allowed them to I guess make a little bit of profit, being the middleman,

and servicing, and finding jobs for people.

So I remember back when there was no escrow, and all you had to do was actually, you know,

hustle and negotiate.

And so those are the very primal beginnings of my negotiation umm techniques.

And I really got a lot of practice because typically people looking for, you know, help

or, or services on those sites never had a huge budget, never had a huge budget to pay.

So they would go to the sites and then they would offer typically a lower amount.

But over the years, the sites have progressed where you can now set a per-hour rate, and

if it's, you know, not abominable, I mean, it can be very respectable.

Gabby: In your case, too, everything you're saying makes perfect sense because we all

know you're, you're the techie brain of the two of us.

It's totally up your alley.

For me, when I was first introduced to these sites, I was like "mmm I don't know about

this."

Anne: [laughs]

Gabby: It was [laughs] little bit leery.

I thought it was a little strange.

I thought it was kind of like "what is this, craigslist for freelancers?"

Anne: Yeah, well you have to be careful.

I think it really taught me to be streetsmart or Internet smart?

You know what I mean?

In terms of being able to deal with potential clients and to not allow them to railroad

me into, you know -- "I only got $10."

"No.

I'm not going to take that job."

And I think for me, it allowed me -- again, I'm all about, we're all -- should always

be about the opportunity, right, presenting yourself at as many opportunities to get gigs

as possible because, hey, I want to make a living out of this career.

I don't want it to just be a hobby.

Those freelance websites at the time were good for me in terms of building up my portfolio.

Gabby: And we're seeing a lot of that now.

We're seeing that these sites are really proving to be the entry or I guess first gate

for a lot of new talent and where people are cutting their teeth, so to speak.

You know, when I got started, it was a little bit different.

There were um local market radio commercials, and there were, you know, a lot of message

on hold and IVR types of work.

This is really I think where new talent are getting their start.

Anne: And if you, if you have one of the sites though that's not forcing you to stay on the

site to finish a job and that sort of thing, it's, it's one of those sites where you can

do and get a client and then ultimately you want to keep that client, you know, for the

next five years.

And they come back to you, and they no longer have to go through that site or that channel

anymore to hire you.

It then becomes a direct client.

Gabby: Well, let's talk about that because I think it's really important for people to

understand that there's nothing wrong with that hiring process and using a freelancer

type site.

What we have to be prepared for is that those clients are probably, totally unfamiliar with

the voiceover casting process.

Anne: Oh excellent point.

Gabby: They have most likely never done it before.

It's a new generation, it's a young generation that's wanting to find or needing to find

a project person for a specific thing that they're only going to do one time, and this

is how they know to find quality freelancers.

Anne: And you have to be part of their education, really, Gabby.

I think that's important, educating the client on, you know, what it takes to deliver a voiceover,

you know, how, what's the process for you, and why you might be charging what you're

charging.

I think that's, that's a big part of it in order to get yourself a good, solid, quality

client.

Gabby: Yeah, it's very conceivable that there's going to be a lot of handholding.

There's going to be a lot of instances where you're reeeally going to have to explain things

to the client --

Anne: Oh yeah.

Gabby: -- they're just unaware of, and that can be a little frustrating.

It can be time-consuming for sure.

So I think those are things that people really need to keep in mind when it comes to the

freelancer process.

And that negotiation piece, like you were saying, Anne, that is so critical because

man, you have got to be able to stand up for yourself.

You've got to be able to know your worth and, you know, command that dollar amount.

And some of these clients are really good at cutting back budgets --

Anne: Oh yeah, oh yeah.

Gabby: -- and you know, getting you to take a lower rate.

Anne: Gabby, it comes down to this.

I don't care how I get the client.

[laughs] As long as I get the client, right, and that they pay me a fair rate.

If I get that client from a pay-to-play, from a freelance website, from a network contact,

from a meetup that I went to, I don't care how I get the clients.

I care that I get the client, and then I care that that client pays me on time and pays

me a fair rate.

Gabby: Well, let's talk about the pay portion of things because that's also where this gets

really interesting.

So on some of these websites, freelancer.com for instance, you are not able, and I do believe

Upwork is, is the same way, you are not able to communicate with each other outside of

the portal.

They, they have made it so that literally the employment process happens through their

website.

They are trying to cut down on the number of people that are then able to take the job

and move it off of the freelancer site.

Anne: And I understand that.

I mean that's, that's how they're making money.

Gabby: Exactly, and they're making a lot of it.

In the course of the conversation that I had with Dave, he followed up in saying that they

do take a pretty big bite out of the profit.

And he said on a $300 gig, they take $60, leaving you a net of $240.

I mean, that's, it's sizable.

Anne: Well, and I think you have to keep that in mind, what is the percentage.

I, you know, again, I make adjustments when I provide quotes for people.

And you know what, they are providing a service, especially if they are requiring payment from

the client and holding that payment so that you can get paid in the end.

I mean, I will tell you, one of the issues that I had, and was so scary when I'm first

starting out in voiceover and getting clients on those sites, when there wasn't an escrow

feature or having to do the job through the site, like you had to be super on your game

in terms of, this is what I'm charging, following up to receive payment.

And so it really, like I said, it taught me to be smart, streetsmart, about those things.

But also appreciate the value with some of the troubles that I did have in collecting

the payment, appreciating the sites that do have those facilities in place.

So that, you know, I can be guaranteed I'm going to be paid, and they're the ones taking

the burden off of me having to chase down the client to get the payment.

So it's kind of like, people want to pay me via PayPal or credit card, there are fees

involved.

And so as part of my business, I take those costs into account.

Gabby: So what you're saying is the same way if a job books through an agent and the

job is $300 plus $10 for the agent's commission, you're kind of going to account for the

same thing here on the freelancer sites.

Anne: Absolutely.

Gabby: I agree with that.

I think that's really, really smart, and I think not a lot of people realize that they

can do that, because why couldn't you do it?

Anne: Why?

We're in control, unless the client is stating a budget, right?

We can always say, "yeah, no.

[laughs] No thanks.

You know, I'd love to help you out, and you know, I can compromise a little bit," and

you know, your rate is your rate.

If you can stand confident in that rate, you are going to be OK.

Gabby: You know, it's interesting because there are a lot of pros and cons with these

sites.

Some of them, no, they haven't developed the best reputation, especially a site like Fiverr,

over the years, but what we're seeing is for the first time, a platform that is going

to give voiceover pay-to-play sites a run for their money.

Anne: Absolutely.

Gabby: These are potentially the types of companies that are going to start making Voice123,

Voices.com, and some of the others start going "uh-oh, there's another way to play."

Anne: It really depends on the customer, where they're coming from, how much hiring expertise

they've had in our industry, like do they hire voice talent on a daily basis, do they

know about online casting sites?

They may not know about pay-to-plays, but maybe they know about freelancer sites.

I think it really comes down to advertising of these particular players in the game, and

who's reaching your potential client, and that's I think how it's going to play out.

I mean it's funny because the list you read to me in the beginning, wow, compared to when

I started, there was two.

There was, there was Freelancer, which started, and I think it was, before -- it might have

been before --

Gabby: Elance.

Anne: Elance.

Elance was after Freelancer.

And Freelancer I think was the pioneer, and then Elance came along, and that became a

little higher.

Like at the time that I joined it, it was, oh, that was the one to be on, because you

could, could get paid better.

Gabby: Right.

Anne: Typically your, the clients that gathered there that were looking for resources and

talent, they paid better.

So it really is I, I think when we, when it comes down to it, would you be on that site?

I know we talk about Fiverr all the time.

So how are they, how are they branding themselves?

Right?

Is, is Elance a high, you know, like a more elegant brand, or you know, Fiverr absolutely

brands itself as, you know, "get your, get your talent for cheap."

And so, how do you --

Gabby: It's the Cheap John's of everything.

[laughs]

Anne: I mean, how do you, I think, affiliate yourself with those entities?

Fiverr's gonna go say, you know, "get a voiceover for $5," and that's how you want

to present your brand, you would get on board with it.

I personally don't necessarily need the work from that perspective.

Right?

I'm not gonna put my brand in that path.

So I will research who I'm going to, you know, promote my services through.

And if I align with that brand, then yeah.

I, I have no problem, I have no problem being on Upwork if somebody's gonna pay me a fair

rate.

You know, I don't think, me personally, if you're asking would I associate my brand with

Fiverr, no, just because they're so out there in the industry advertising themselves as

somebody that has low prices.

And that's what I don't want to associate my business with.

Gabby: Well, what you're talking about really is integrity.

Anne: Mm-hmm, absolutely.

Gabby: It's lining yourself up in a way that you can be proud of what you are doing.

Nobody wants to be associated with another party that they feel like they have to hide

or not admit to for fear of ridicule or judgment coming from somewhere else in your industry.

That's, that's no good.

Anne: Well, you know, I do want to say one thing though about that, about that.

I think that we, we have to really step back and think about who, who is criticizing us,

and does it matter for our business, right?

So my business serves me.

I'm not necessarily caring if other people in my industry are necessarily saying -- they're

not my buyers, right?

So sometimes you've got to kind of take it with a grain of salt.

I'm not joining Fiverr because of my own integrity.

It has nothing to do with somebody else saying that's a poor choice.

It has to do with my integrity and my business decision as to whether that is a smart investment

for me or not, and for me I make that decision by myself.

I'm not necessarily swayed by other people in my industry because they're not my buyers.

Gabby: You get the BOSS badge for the day, because that was just [Oprah voice] a-ma-zing!

That was like the coolest thing I think I've ever heard you say, and I love you even more.

Anne: Thanks.

I love you too, oh my gosh.

You drew it out of me.

Gabby: But that is so YES!

Like hell yes.

That's, that's being a BOSS right there.

It's amazing.

I don't -- you're like, "I don't give a -- what the other people in the industry

think of me.

They're not my client.

They're not the ones paying me."

Anne: It's true.

You've got to remember that.

We all have to remember that.

Gabby: It's tough sometimes though.

It's hard.

Anne: Yeah it's hard.

That's our next podcast.

It's hard, Gabby.

Gabby: [laughs]

Anne: Just saying it.

Gabby: Well, in an industry where we all know each other and we're chummy, and we're friends

and there is so much interaction, yeah, it's, it, uhhh yeah.

We, we tend to spend an awful lot of time worried about what the voice actor next to

us --

Anne: Absolutely.

Gabby: -- is gona think about what we're doing.

Anne: Yep.

Gabby: Let's just real quick talk about what Dave asked an alias.

What do you think?

I mean, is there reason to use an alternate name on these sites so that you can separate

yourself if you're concerned about that?

Anne: Well, here's where I think the big glitch comes in, and that is, you are a business,

right?

You are identified under a particular name.

So if that's going to cause you accounting issues and tax issues in the end, mmm, you

know?

Um you know, what is that going to entail?

You know?

It could be a DBA, doing business as another name, and again, that could be something simple

for you to set up.

Other than that, I, I just know that the accounting nightmare that it is if you're not prepared

for something like that -- you know, I'm getting paid by my name of so and so, or my business

name of so and so.

And so just I think have, have he logistics in place if you're going to do that.

I don't really see a problem with that.

You know, I mean, lots of us have multiple companies.

Right?

Gabby: Yeah.

That's a good call.

I think you are right.

I think you have to work out the logistics first and be prepared for it, because look,

I have [laughs] I have a couple of agents who insist upon using aliases on their rosters,

right?

They won't let us use our real names because they don't want to compete, whatever.

Anne: Sure.

Gabby: Fine.

But it can be really hysterical when I'm in a session with a client, directed, and they

call me by a name.

Anne: "Sue, Sue, can you please --

Gabby: Yes.

And I'm like [singing distractedly] "Oh, oh me!

Oh, oh hi!"

Like I have no --

[both laugh]

Gabby: Like "oh, you're talking to me!"

Anne: "Yes, Sue, can you take that again from the top?"

[laughs]

Gabby: It's so crazy!

Anne: "What, oh me?"

Gabby: And then, and then think again phone calls, phone calls are really fun when that

happens, right, because you know, you are doing --

Anne: How do you know if they're spam or not?

Gabby: Yeah, like you pick up the phone, and you're like "no, there's nobody here

by that name.

Oh -- wait, there is.

Hold on."

[laughs]

Anne: Let me go get her.

Let me --

[both laugh]

Gabby: Oi.

Yeah so… yeah.

There's definitely a confusion factor that could exist.

But, but again, it, it is a good way to build a little bit of separation or a wall between

yourself and again, what, what other people might think.

Anne: Great question.

Oh my gosh.

I had so much fun with that.

Thank you, Dave.

Gabby: Totally.

Nothing But Smiles at Cyclone Women's Basketball Practice - Duration: 1:36.

I'm a case manager for a residential facility that helps adults with

developmental disabilities, and I'm the assistant coach for Moraine Valley women's basketball.

I thought it would be great

to bring the two groups together

because our residents play Special Olympics basketball and our

girls were super excited to be able to meet them and run some drills and play

some basketball with them.

Hi, David. [laughter]

These girls today just took them in and showed them

drills and they realize that they're just people that are slightly different

and it's okay. >> I feel like it brought us more together as a team and we got to

know like more of each other and to interact with each other more than just

when we do regular practices. >> I think this is good for our team because it

kind of opens them up to a new world, a new population of people that they're

not normally interacting with. So, I think from today on out they might see people

with developmental disabilities a little differently and they might be more

willing to approach them because they're wonderful people. >> Seeing them laughing and

when we did layups how they cheered for us, like, it was just a good time. >> It was a

good opportunity for me because I've never had a chance to interact with, you

know, people with disabilities especially adults. And it was a good time overall.

I mean they came to play, and they had a lot of skills. So, it was a good time.

It was pretty fun. [cheering and applause]

[music playing]

Recording A FULL SONG Idea In Garageband "Blackberry Sweet" | In Studio Vlog - Duration: 2:57.

Recording A FULL SONG Idea In Garageband "Blackberry Sweet" | In Studio Vlog.

In this quick studio vlog I as originally going to talk about my new album and what

my tattoo means and how it references my new album.

However, I was finishing making a beat in Maschine with the MK3 from an old video I

did about how to make beats for beginners and I immediately was hit with inspiration

for vocals, lyrics, and melodies.

So I decided to do a bit of Garageband vocal production recording a full song idea which

I titled "Blackberry Sweet".

The premise of this rap/r&b song is about racism and how it has grown from the Trayvon

Martin situation to the political climate we have now.

So taking a break from full how to record vocals and how to make music in Garageband

tutorials to show off a quick creation.

The song is not finished, so this is just a reference and idea of what I came up with

for the full version with the beat and all.

But hopefully it will be on my upcoming album if I can finish it in a reasonable amount

of time :)

The Fall Of John Kuckian: pt. 0 - Duration: 35:44.

hey welcome back and in today's video you guys asked me if I could look into

the most recent John kuckian drama the controversy for those of you that

are unaware John kuckian is a British youtuber who is primarily a drama

channel he dishes out the dirt spills the tea on many influencers but most of

the time what he does is borderline hatred and a lot of people are really

upset with the way that he is handling his channel so most recently John took a

trip to the states where not to California when he got out there he had

a couple of issues he was going from hotel to hotel didn't really have a

place to stay started living with a few people here and there then as things got

worse he released a video that is now deleted where he asked his fanbase to

adopt him I am in Southern California I am visiting I'm on holiday I'm visiting

Kitty Queens and my living situation has gotten rallies hits off okay like

negative like I thought I was so organized and I was and went hit soft

but I'm kind of in a really awkward living situation I've already stayed in

two or three different hotels and I'm lasting somewhere else today I really

really need to move like today tomorrow the day after I just came here for a big

holiday to see things and get some Sun and I was wondering if anyone wanted to

adopt me okay I don't mean deadly serious do want to point out that us in

America we already know you really don't wanna you really don't want a room with

strangers out here I mean like we're one of the only countries that you can

literally just walk into a store and grab a gun if you need one I'm not

saying that the United States is dangerous but I'm just saying that you

definitely you don't really don't want to go living with people you don't know

but when this video came out a lot of people just did not like the fact that

he went into details he was in a very not good situation but then they feel

like he was coming off as very entitled as he laid out the exact things that he

wanted in a house that he stayed and it seems

little bit luxurious my ideal place that just pops into my head is like a really

really big family home I like a big spare room that gets a lot of Sun

because I'm quite Sun sensitive do you have a big family home with a big

bedroom with lots of sunlight and if you happen to have a double garage I would

be super super grateful like incredibly grateful it did come off a little bit in

title yes it did seem like he was in a bad place and he was just asking for the

biggest house that he could move into and I'll be completely honest with you

my ideal place just in case anybody wants me to move in with my ideal place

is a huge luxurious mansion it's got to have a castle columns all right it's

gonna look like castles that have a moat also if you if you could have a one of

them Batman lights in in a butler so I can so then some people did reach out to

him pretty much meeting every criteria that he asked for which seems to be too

good to be true but let's read that email shouts out to Margot Indigo I did

get this from her video her video is also in the description below it says hi

John my wife saw your YouTube video today and we found it very coincidental

we love your videos because you have a lot in common with my wife who is much

younger than I am we are finalizing the purchase of an 11,000 square foot house

that she plans on making into a beauty gurus dream house with amazing features

such as a glamour room fully functional nightclub with downstairs and full

kitchens regulation tennis court endless rooms 22 foot ceilings plenty of privacy

etc we have no kids nor will we have them my wife is really into makeup and

basically has every Sephora product she basically has more makeup than she could

ever use in a lifetime and it's willing to share all this with you as far as the

cars go we have a new Corvette z51 and an audio r8 both of which are fun to

drive you are welcome to use them you could have your own private room in

private bathroom and there's plenty of space where you can either be completely

alone or hang out with either both of us my wife is going to be redesigning the

glam room and she would love to have a partner like you with your great ideas

to make it awesome she's seen your work that you've done for friends and other

countries and she thinks you're amazingly talented with that said there

really would be no strings attached and you wouldn't have to do anything no need

to pay rent and you can help yourself to food and whatever we have as mentioned

earlier my wife is a lot younger than I am and the friends she has have all just

tried to take advantage of her and I've watched them treat her like absolute

crap when she is the kindest most giving person I have ever met when I come home

from work she is watching makeup videos because she has no one to hang out with

when I seen your videos I seen so much in common between you and her and it

feels like you would be the perfect adopted member of our family and she

says hashtag titties I'm not really sure why that's relevant but I'm told that

his community fan base called himself the titty film so that's probably got

something to do with it she just tried to DM you in the past and

you haven't responded but she understands why given the harassment she

goes through daily on insta I am blank and your scientific background probably

makes a lot in common for us as well now one catch is that we do have five dogs

however they will love you but stay out of your way and you will always be able

to escape from them when you want they're not yappers we are closing on a

house at the end of June and we can fly you out in early July if you're

interested the house is currently going through all of the necessary inspections

to finalize the purchase her instant handles are blank yes she is a personal

trainer nutritionist yes there will be a full gym once we get it set up starting

the week we move in and blank there's a lot more to say we'll leave it at that

for now blank phone number is blank blank and email is blank my phone number

is blank office we hope to hear from you best

well you know that just sounded absolutely amazing so then John responds

with well I can't even explain him words how excited how grateful I am and that

you have contacted me when I mentioned this in my video I really didn't think

anyone would email me and I have been sent so many kind messages about this

and so I just wanted to say a massive thank you I really lost for words with

your email your proposition really sounds perfect to me

so basically he was really excited and he gave his best wishes and moving on

now I did get these email screenshots from beauty with Ashley so

channel is also in the description below so upon hearing this great generous

offer absolutely John was over the top and they offered to fly him out in July

but he was in a horrible situation because he got was kicked out from a

dude in Malibu and he needed to go somewhere now so instead of waiting

until the proper time he'd asked him if he could come this instant upon hearing

that request the family did pay for his plane tickets and luggage price here are

those screenshots here's the plane ticket says you all set the jet and this

is in retrospect from I'm guessing that her pseudo name where Colin Ayers Lily

he was supposed to move into the mansion I bought in Ohio I told him we'd be

ready in July she hit the fan in Cali with whoever he was staying with I had

to buy him a plane ticket out for the next morning of course he made himself

out to be the victim I also paid for his extra luggage fees and PayPal thing so

he could pay the airline so here's my thing I'm the type of person that has to

pay for his own things I would not feel comfortable for a family paying for

anything of money let's say in some alternate universe I would be accepting

to move into somebody else's house which I would not do it just seems

completely irresponsible to say that I would do that I just couldn't let

anybody pay I couldn't take a free ride I worked so hard so often it is in my

belief system that you you need you need to do your own things does that make

does that make any sense at all does the really cool thing that they did is

because he didn't have anything with him they actually bought him a bed they

bought him clothes and a number of other things so things went well for a while

as you would expect everybody always is nice in the beginning you know how they

go it's common for people to put on a play during the phase of meeting someone

and then the place cannot be kept up for so long it's like if you was to put on a

fake smile and then hold it for like that entire time it's really difficult

and your muscles get tired over time they said allegedly that John Cooke Ian

got really weird and started recording them

that's right she said eat my eat my that was her calling John cookie and a beggar

now I wanted to show those recordings first with the of course that anybody

that gets recorded and caught saying anything like that they're going to have

excuses that's just a natural thing I wanted to refer back to the email I'm

gonna be doing that quite a bit in this video I'm thinking she is the kindest

most giving person kindest person that he's ever met now I just wanted to I

wanted to point that out because this how she's acting now does not is not a

reflection of kindness and I know a lot of people are gonna say well she was

what if you were in that position this net well I'll be honest with you I've

been in many situations that are less than perfect and I personally do and it

is not fair for me to say this because I personally practice compassion above all

else but it is my belief that we attract you attract what you are in your mind

and I don't know if acting like this and I'm pretty sure she's a lot of words and

profane and profane fashion that I find really distasteful and I want to be I

don't mean it picky about it but they did accuse John also of recording and I

just want to be neutral on this in an unbiased position but maybe he did have

a reason to record originally beauty from Ashley was she was looking for some

somebody that had some information on the scenario that John was going through

and all the difficulties he was having when he was out in the States this is

what she said and this is the reply back from I guess her name is Lily the the

woman that John stayed with actually did tweet out she said I'd love to speak to

any people he's been staying with sure they have all the tea she said

right here girl he stayed with you yep I'm the one that burned my house down

and went completely insane I wonder what he did to the guy in Miami to make him

kick him out with 15 minutes notice it sure as shit wasn't over him going to

meet Teddy fam again that's this community base he I'm pissed my husband

is beyond angry here's why I'm coming forward now he filmed me took pics voice

recorded me in my own home the whole time my husband to have so much to say

i blatantly saw him doing it one day while I was outside in my PJs which

consists of men's XXL shirts and large baggy bottoms with no makeup and messy

hair he was by my pool deck with his camera sideways on me

I said stop he said no I said why are you doing this he replies it's just for

memories hmm then another time the iPhone stopped recording and you know

that noise the phone makes when it stops recording it made it while me and my

husband and him were in the room just talking he goes on to say that John ate

half doughnuts in her $100,000 car ate chocolate cereal for breakfast and

claims that he doesn't eat sugar but then goes on to insult him and say that

he has a good on him he accused me of beating my husband beating my dogs are

some kidnapping lock him in the basement which is three doors and only one of

them locks from the inside what she was in and could have just walked out the

door I was screaming the videos before he left because I gave him days notice

to leave he wouldn't go quietly and after putting up with his bullshit for

almost a month I'd lost my mind and wanted him out immediately these are

very serious allegations to make against someone which is why he deleted the

tweets but hello there on a guru Gosper the site that he's on in it checks

continuously she goes on to say that the problem that she had with filming

was because she was in really large clothes that made her look fat and she

wanted everybody to know that she does have abs it's it's a really big breast

it's tough yeah it she was worried about a reputation I think that is probably

not consider not something that's related to the story she said that the

accusations that John was saying was not very not not good and very severe well

the accusation is that she's putting out are also not good and very severe in

John and they said that allegedly John just started being weird and started

recording well she as far as I can see in the

stuff that's provided without giving any context like most people do against John

it seems like he did have a region of course nobody was yelling at me and

talking to me like that not only would I would not be there but you best believe

my my butt would be recording for my safety and I think that if we want to

look at it from a bridge of compassion we need to we need to see that maybe he

did have a reason to record because she was flipping out we heard the recordings

things were getting crazy and referring back to the email the husband said she's

the kindest most giving person that she's ever met I think the kindest most

giving person would continue be to be kind and giving long after someone does

them wrong that's compassion I I know that's just me that's just me and like I

said I'm not for John I'm not afford these people I'm simply giving a neutral

opinion and then another interesting accusation was that John went through

her Instagram without her knowledge and did record his but and send it to dudes

and actually was questioning her saying why do you have so many dudes hitting

you up on Instagram which later we found out that her and her husband actually

have an open marriage where they basically that means they can see other

people which is fine but John was very rude and recorded his butt and that's

that's kind of weird because he sent it out to those dudes

that was messaging I don't I don't know either this her in

retrospect here says so creepy he was in ideas on my phone messaging men

pretending to be me he took videos of his ass in his boxer

briefs to send to them if you want the vids I have them oh man and it says that

John is always on Grindr 24/7 ask creepy don't ever record your butt and send it

to anyone don't do that other things that he did he neglected on

responsibilities they said that he left the lights on and those lights are very

powerful in pose a hazard of starting a fire as well as trashing the downstairs

basement never cleaning up anything and these are the lights that were left on

as you can see it's because of the electricity bill and they've left for

the lights on before overheated so badly that I'm gonna start a fire and she says

that she explained it to him several times and he didn't care my husband

always came down here and had to turn them off while we were wild before we

went out and that's not cool does her saying that he didn't pay for a damn

thing not once the entire time he was here but I also want to refer back to

the email on that there really would be no strings attached and you wouldn't

have to do anything no need to pay rent and you can help yourself to food or

whatever we have that's what they said they said he didn't have to do anything

so yes guys the nice cordial thing to do at least in America is to do those

simple things turn lights off clean up after yourself but in all honesty they

made it out like you know they didn't make it out they said directly that he

didn't have to do anything that's what they said but then turn right around and

be upset with him for not doing the things that they said that he didn't

have to do that's just what it says don't I'm not for anyone on sides here

I'm giving you the facts this is what this I know a lot of people gonna be

upset that's what it says what do you want me to do the next controversy that

happened while he was staying there she she was upset because he was taking

her makeup and destroying him the blood sugar palette from Jeffrey star oh man

that one's a good one he let me know if you guys want me to do

a makeup review on my channel I'll paint my face mm-hm but yeah so let's look at

that he said basically mm-hmm hello oh my compacts cooking is courtroom your

sauce of each investigations all through the week today we are going to be doing

a brutally honest and non our secure review first impressions of the Joffrey

style blood sugar parlor this is something that's been highly recommended

inside again it's a plain box oaken Spacek aleihi did reviews on a couple

different makeups while he was staying there but he neglected to say that she

bought it and it was her makeup a couple things I do want to say on that is that

it's his youtube channel he's making videos I can see where he would not want

to say anything about it being somebody else's because he's on vacation he's

just trying to get a video out for his viewers but on the other hand it would

be a simple nice gesture to include them in the videos if I if it was me I would

include him in the videos but I'm just I just do that I just try to be nice and

including I like the more the merrier top feel maybe John is not that type of

person maybe that's the issue everybody has with him he's maybe he's an asshole

who knows but we do have receipts that she actually did buy and a little bit of

retrospective hindsight from her he had access to all of my makeup I must a for

rogue member I bought him this shape tape and the ultra because he asked for

it but ended up leaving it here the blood sugar palette was mine and he took

it to film with and destroyed it before he even got to see it he took it and

unboxed it downstairs I was so excited for that palette and he ruined the whole

experience dadgum biscuits that he ruined the

palette she goes on to say it was ordered before he even got here by the

way so it's not a gift for him however I had been waiting months for this restock

when it came he took the box from me and I couldn't see it until later that night

which basically was returned me destroyed that's such a bummer

referring back to the email you guys are gonna get pissed at yeah no hey my wife

really is into makeup and basically has every Sephora product she basically has

more makeup than she could ever use in a lifetime and it's willing to share all

of it with you she's willing to share it all she's we're willing to share it all

she's not give it share it he left it those are the facts the next

thing that was really embarrassing for the family was that he had an allergy to

water or tap water or something like that and well I did a little bit of

research on that it looks like in the Margaux Indigo video around 1106 let's

look at that so in the entire world and all of recorded medical history

there are only 40 cases of a water allergy ever John you are not one of

those 40 people you adopted a false affliction that of course would require

special treatment and not just when going to fancy restaurant that was what

was said by Margot Indigo and I wanted to cross-reference this because I'd like

to do a lot of research and I did find that it's widely known that multiple

ADIZ add chlorine and other chemicals purifiers to the water and their systems

and make tap waters safe for drinking and bathing but what's not as widely

understood is how some of these chemicals can disrupt the body's

hormones however researchers are finding that these purifying chemicals can

interfere with their immune system much like pet dander can cause hives in

someone with animal allergies it does go on to say there is an incredible rare

condition credibly rare condition known as aquagenic alter Surya which yes is

only affected by a around 30 to 40 people around the world and that is a

direct allergy to water but it does say a very common is the allergic reactions

from the chemicals in tap water that's common a lot of people

have that not not just 32 people it's very common like as this somebody was

allergic to pet dander maybe John did a had of reaction to this a couple times

and decided why I really don't want to mess with that

and that's his prerogative now I - now before you think I'm but I do want to

point out that as soon as he left the that family's house he posted a picture

on snapchat he's drinking something with ice in it here and yes that is him

here's another picture that shows this handle there you can see it Rick it does

have ice cubes in it so that well here's my thing I have stomach problems and

issues and I'm not supposed to eat certain foods and I and I like I have a

gluten allergy I'm not supposed to eat gluten it's not something I'm supposed

to have but occasionally occasionally even though I know the consequences I

will have gluten I'm gonna get eat them chips I'm gonna eat that pizza stuffed

crust from pizza it's down I'm gonna have it I know it's gonna cause problems

for me that may be the he just wanted some ice this time I don't know what do

you give me what do you want me to say so shit just got crazy they had a huge

falling out they didn't like each other things happen people people don't mesh

well all the time that's what happens well he started tweeting erratically

saying I'm in the middle of nowhere she's going to kill us I'm packing now

I'm packing now I'll keep you in the loop I'm gonna try to pack my suitcase

and leave tonight I need help someone's I'm in someone's

basement in to threaten to kill me I never believed in the kindness of

strangers I'm in the car on the way to Baltimore now sorry if I scared anybody

about to try and leave that uh that it uh middle nowhere you get the picture

this isn't now deleted tweet from cookie and probably around the time that he

left for those asking the girl was staying with got drunk started beating

her dogs beating her husband and threatening to kill me and set the house

on fire I won't expose the person's identity but there are some very these

are some very damaged people in this world

I have a piece from Margot Indigo where the woman did explain why she was

actually yelling let's check that out she called her husband stupid she called

John retarded which if you guys know me I don't like that word I had a special

aunt I feel like that's a very polarizing word and you that's something

you shouldn't say it's just wrong she says I called Jesse stupid cuz he was

trying to keep peace while this asshole wouldn't stop recording me and

emotionally manipulate me into thinking I'm crazy

so you're fuckin stupid he's fuckin retarded

Here I am on my own house with two dudes and I'm defending myself back backed

into a corner everyone can GTFO at this point but i'm

telling you she doesn't sound like she's scared in this recording that didn't

sound like somebody that was scared and backed into the corner it just really

did not it sounded very and to say to call someone retarded is like and then

threatened to kill them like that that's i mean i can only be sympathetic for

this and i i'm gonna say i don't know all side of story and if you guys want

to reach out to me and talk to me you're welcome to do that my demons are always

open I'm just presenting these facts as they appear

so John had had enough of that he said he was leaving the husband then decides

to drive him to the airport when John claims that the wife told the husband

that he had to keep the phone on and record so John said I'm gonna do the

same thing but other people are saying that that's not what happened at all

John just was recording like always and I do want to point out yes and again it

is illegal to record people without their consent in general and especially

illegal in Maryland this is the this is that audio even the good side she's

bragging about beating you bragging about smashing a car oh that's not a

good sign right right I just I feel so bad for you

because how can you live your entire life and someone that percents out to

talk to you like if you've spent ten years trying to fix smack you in the

face many things up and down back and forth and I'll be honest with you if I

didn't see the times when I saw kind of you know the good part of row come out

which is yeah which is minimal can't be can't be can't be Rick

there are times though there are times though look if you are in an abusive

relationship don't wait ten years get the hell out of

there it's not good now I'm not saying this woman was abusive in the Johnstone

truth or or the latter I don't see any actually in this recording it clearly

John nosies recording so he does seem like he's trying to twist the narrative

that I mean it just seems fishy to me I'm thinking that the husband doesn't

even really want to talk to him promptly knows that he's recording and it seems

like they're both just a back and forth candid doesn't in audio recording where

both people know that there's a recording going on they're not gonna be

them genuine selves it's just that's just not gonna happen so you I don't

think we can actually base anything off of this audio because of that reason but

let me know what you think so upon the fact that he had no consent to record

he kept saying invariant verifying fashion that the husband was was beat by

the wife but then I have a text where the husband says that he is not abused

you see right here when I dropped him off he was saying shit about getting

abused and I said I'm not abused he said you don't have to put up with the abuse

or something like that and I said I don't deal with any abuse we're dealing

with stresses of moving and the disaster he has made of the house I said you

don't know her or the situation that's coming directly from the husband

but that is not the kind of stuff that you hear in the audio as I said I don't

think this audio is something that we can trust did like this piece from a

Margo's video where she goes into the details of the difficulties and lies in

how John does lie and how he gets caught he really doesn't even notice that he

tells on himself somehow Lily was just losing her mind like absolutely

everybody else for no reason of course just like the two women you were with in

California who also just snapped one day out of nowhere and just threw you out on

the street just like the Miami guy who snapped and threw you out for no fucking

reason just like he said here for the T did when their friendship ended and she

just snapped one day after he didn't text her back and went crazy for of

course no reason man either that is just the largest set of perfect coincidences

I have ever seen or you are crazy making hmm I do want to point that out yeah

that that's that's a lot of coincidences it I've done a little bit of research

I've heard about the peeterman incident I've I've seen this stuff between Patti

Page I've seen all these things like that and it does seem like he has these

situations a lot it doesn't seem like he's very pure of heart and now it has

always been a belief of mine that integrity shows through consecrated

action and if you're hiding a true self it's going to come out in things that

you do because the the the things in our mind do manifest into reality and

eventually sooner or later the dominant thoughts that you think they do show

through that's just what happens so it appears because he's had so many

instances and so many occasions what other thing do we have to believe oh he

did end up lashing out at beauty with Ashley and he did lash out at Margot

indigo the most recent video that he did upload on his channel was actually him

addressing all things but about Margot indigo saying that she had been doing

videos for the last two years about him and I could understand why this would be

frustrating for a hit from his point of view but

nine minutes into his most recent video he says that he is open and willing to

talk and she was like if John ever wants to speak to me I'll happily speak to him

so we got you to the skies and I was messaging him for a month she kept

standing me up it would get to like half an hour before would you two speak and I

said okay I'm ready now like she would give me a time that works for her I

would be ready and then she would bail every single time and I was like so you

can run a channel talking crap about me 24/7 but you're incapable of having a

conversation with me what does that say you know it's just like what am I

supposed to do with this like I can't solve the problem if it's

not my problem so John said that he is willing to square up more ago and I

think that it's only right that you get out there and you do have this square up

in this conversation you guys hash it out because you guys seem to have some

history and some things going on there so I think not only me but I think

everybody else would love to see that I mean I'm on the edge of my seat about

this kind of stuff I have formulated my opinion finally and this is a this is a

long video this was crazy the community my community reached out to me wanted me

to put my opinion on this stuff anyways so I wanted to look tat all I did a lot

of research the past couple days and I've seen everybody that did make videos

I'm John cookie and generally just didn't like I'm already in Denton and

hated him basically and as far as I know in the past that he said some things

some members of my community I didn't agree with but I don't hate the guy I

don't know the guy I'm not going to pretend that I know the guy I'm not

gonna spent a narrative about anyone but I to present the facts and the most

recent drama from an unbiased position and I feel like that that's a little bit

of breath of fresh air and compassion rather than make another video where

it's just talking crap because I don't want to do that on my channel basically

they set up the situation in a way that they would have not really liked so John

was just doing what he was told to do which was basically nothing now yes a

courteous polite person regardless of somebody said and it seems like if

somebody would say oh you don't have to do anything if somebody told me that I'd

be like oh that's really nice of them to say but I would still go through to do

the things that I'm supposed to do right that's just what a normal person

does but maybe John's not that high person clearly he is not because he took

them at face value and he did not shit did do anything but I mean that's what

they said so he did only what they said so that's their fault okay

also then the wife losing her temper like that there is no excuse I don't

care how mad somebody makes you there's no excuse just not everybody in the

world reacts that way what I'm saying is is that you seem angry you seem like

that you have some deep-rooted issues and from the email your friends have

done you wrong you've been done wrong but that is no reason to take your anger

out on anyone else yes people are gonna do you wrong yes people let me tell you

guys people are going to do you wrong you're gonna fail at things you're gonna

get irritated and angry but the best telling of character is how you act in

those times Lincoln used to say that hold your composure and have compassion

and your tons of dire straits and that is the best telling sign of a character

of human being so when you're at your worst that's when you need to practice

these types of things because when you're at your best anybody can do it if

everything's going great it's easy to be nice now from John's perspective he

started recording clearly because this lady started acting radical to him maybe

he's not familiar of this type of behavior I don't know it's lived in

Scituate grew up when was history anything like that I know a lot of

people don't like him I know that but let's take let's say that he had he just

felt threatened so he started recording I mean if I was in the situation where I

felt threatened and I felt like I was in another country and I felt like oh my

god I don't know these people that could kill me I would probably be record too

that would actually have to be honestly if anybody talked to me like that I

don't give a crap I would leave there's no way I would sit

there and listen to my talk I don't care if I had to go sleep on the bench that's

just that's just what I would do all in all

everybody's live and then is John a horrible human being I don't know I

don't know I don't know I'm not gonna sit there and tell somebody that they're

horrible human being that they have no room to change because everybody has an

opportunity to become a better person you've heard it here as interesting as

that is there's always something more interest to me that's right you guess I

don't you take so much good leave your creative in direct written responses at

the comment box be like there's always brothers and sisters I will see you in

the next video I hope this video was a little bit different for you I wanted to

present the facts and I wanted to try to be as unbiased as I could I think I did

a good job I don't know I'm really hungry right now and I have to be

somewhere in an hour so I know that you're ripping if you're not reppin your

grey and you know what you better be Gregan because those Illuminati cat

sweaters are going to be gone in about two weeks you won't ever be able to get

them again those designs will be retired so I know that you're ripping if you're

tripping great and you become remember the red scar all you just described

another case you turn on be in the comment section every single video

because I'm gonna be here Greg the cat is gonna be here in the rest of the red

swell community as well and I expect to see that too because this channel loves

you

Vivoree Esclito Does A K-Beauty Makeup Look in 5-Minutes - Duration: 2:19.

Timer's ticking, timer's ticking! 'Di ko ma open!

Hi my name is Vivoree! And today I'm going to do a K-beauty inspired makeup

look in five minutes.

First thing is powder

Kasi since five-minute lang naman guys wala na akong time mag foundation and everything like that

so I'm using BYS!

Pero actually yung mga Koreans kasi

hindi sila masyadong mahilig sa too much makeup. Ano lang sila

BB cream or one layer lang ng foundation.

I got into Korean stuff, simula nung nakilala ko yung BTS!

Next is blush.

Siguro?

These are the shades.

Okay, I'm just going to use my hands.

I think this is what they call drunk blush? Parang ganun?

Yung kilay ko.

Fini-fill ko lang yung gaps.

Yung mga Korean, hindi mahilig sa pa "brush up".

One minute?

Then curl ng lashes.

Minimix ko lang yung mga eyeshadows.

Actually, nevermind na.

[10 seconds!]

Oh my gosh!

Okay, okay!

Okay!

Okay.

Times up!

So,

eto po yung Korean-inspired makeup ko.

Di ko alam kung achieve ko siya or anything?

Yung Korean makeup

it's like more on

parang bare-faced lang, pero may lip tint. Like colored yung lips nila.

And then yung eyeshadow nila. So that's what I'm doing.

I think I did a great job! Pasado ba, guys?
